Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: After mentoring the young twins, Kabal and Cara, Clarissa was allowed to return to the present as agreed to by Sarasvati. However; being still stuck inside Shaiya�s citadel required that Clarissa, Stryder and Durandal find a way to escape.
Vin_Da_DM: Meanwhile, the rest of the Warriors began their journey to break into the citadel to rescue them. After the Predator, Chavande, easily dispatched the patrolling guards they made their way to the top of the wall surrounding the massive black spires of the citadel�s core.
Vin_Da_DM: Tewyn went a different path and was let inside the citadel walls by Shaiya�s guards and led to the dark lady�s chambers. There the two of them went together to �welcome� the Warriors as they took the first steps into the trap laid waiting for them.
Vin_Da_DM: Elsewhere, within the dark halls Clarissa and Stryder ran across Bronze, another Knight, and after a short fight they found themselves at the mercy of his powerful force fields. Clarissa also showed signs of having a previous relation with Bronze which moved events forward.
Vin_Da_DM: As the Warriors received their reception from Tewyn and Shaiya, Bronze offered Clarissa a deal. In exchange for Bronze doing something for Clarissa, she had to kill Shaiya and Tewyn for him, so he could gather more �power�.
Vin_Da_DM: *Time passed: None*
Vin_Da_DM: Bronze turns his head slightly giving a sideways glance to Clarissa. �Now, now, I haven�t got all day. Do we have a deal?�
Vin_Da_DM: Shaiya rubs her hand down Tewyn�s cheek and arm as she smiles at him, �Perhaps I will let you decide their fate, my love. But we should keep some of them for entertainment.�
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
Tewyn smiles at Shaiya, �Hmmm, indeed.� Looks down to the Warriors, �So, a show of hands, who wants to die today?�
Tabris: �Looks like your hand is raised pretty high to me,� Tabris eyes Tewyn with a scowl.
Clarissa stands looking back at Bronze thinking quietly to herself for a moment, �Why the change in the stakes?�
Luna_Faline glances out the corner of my eye at Eclipse, �Well hell,� I mumble.
Tewyn smirks, �Oh, we must save him...I�d like to see you entertain him, my dear.�
^Shinta looks up, �Well, you better back up those words, Gray One.�
Kat|e: �Oh, balls. Is this multiple guess?�
Clarice stands quietly looking over at Tewyn and Shaiya as they stand so snubbingly close together.
Tewyn: �No, Kat|e it�s a question. Do you want to keep your life or give it here now?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Let�s just say your friends are not my target for the moment,� Bronze lifts his hand slightly bringing Clarissa closer to him, �So? Do we have a deal or shall I start removing pieces from the boy?�
Tewyn looks back to Shaiya, �You know, we could have lots of fun with that one there, like we did with her before...she was so clueless.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse shakes his head and glances to Luna.
Claron stands next to Tabris her eyes watching Tewyn.
Kat|e shrugs, �I�d rather kick ye in yer backstabbin� face, Froggy. But, y�know��
Tewyn: �You had your chance, mentally lapsed one, you let it go...tsk, tsk�too bad.�
Luna_Faline wishes my sai was in my paw instead of my boot.
Vin_Da_DM: �Mmm...plenty of fun.� Shaiya smirks evilly, �The other one is feisty, she�d make an excellent toy.�
Kat|e reaches out and grabs Shinta�s hand without realizing it.
Tewyn starts shaking his hands, �Now, if we could just have those annoying twins to get rid of�this would be a party.�
^Shinta looks at Kat|e, �We will get out of this somehow.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Tsk, tsk. All these Warriors and no heroic sacrifices to save the others?� Shaiya looks at Tewyn, �I suppose we should just kill them randomly then.�
Kat|e nods curtly, �But if we don�t�� She looks at him tenderly, �I just want you to know, it�s been a hell of a ride, and I�m honored to have ye fightin� at my side, dear friend.� She turns her attention back to the razor-tongued duo.
Tewyn taps the balcony and sends a shard into Clarice�s leg. �No, let them endure a lil punishment first,� says while smirking.
^Shinta squeezes her hand tightly, �No talking like that...we�ve been thru worse and survived. You will remember that in time.�
Clarissa smiles meekly at Bronze, �I don�t understand...why...I should have to.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Of course, my love, enjoy yourself as much as you like before we choose,� Shaiya chuckles as she watches Tewyn.
Luna_Faline whispers to Eclipse, �You ready to be the shield, cause something has got to be done.�
Tewyn ears twitch, �You move one inch, Kitty and your lover there is dog food,� glaring at Luna.
Tewyn: �So unless your going to sacrifice him�you just sit there all bushy like and listen and hope your not next�Got it?...Thought so.�
Vin_Da_DM: Bronze matches Clarissa smile then widens his, �The witch knows I despise her. You can get closer to her then I. And your brother�s life is at stake.�
Clarice screams out as the shard strikes her leg.
Vin_Da_DM: Meanwhile back on the Ettik hidden away in the rocky canyon Alexei paces on the bridge talking to himself, �I hope they�ll be all right in there��
Luna_Faline: �You don�t think it will be that easy do you?� huffs, �You�ve certainly lost some brain cells,� turning my paws inside my sleeve I aim my claws at Tewyn and fire them at his hands.
Clarissa thinks for a minute, �And if I agree��
Tewyn: �So, my dear, who shall we entertain first? I�ve chosen one.� Pulling up a slab of the balcony to form a shield, �Tsk, tsk�you are in our world now, kitty. Those parlor tricks are nothing.�
Vin_Da_DM: Shaiya notices Luna and lifts her hand. Luna�s claws bounce off an invisible field in front of Tewyn. �Now, now. That wasn�t very nice.�
Luna_Faline falls into a roll toward Clarice�s injured leg grabbing the shard and pulling it out as I heal the wound. �Just following your example,� I growl.
Tewyn: �Hmm, shall we see what a shaved kitty looks like there, my love?�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�ll owe you a favor,� Bronze eyes Clarissa, �Evil I may be, but I am a man of dignity and honor my agreements. And you brother and large alien friend here will be free to go.�
Claron moves in closer toward Tabris.
Tewyn keeps shaking his hands little less noticeably now. �Or should we take a mother away from her lover and treat her like the kiddies?�
^Shinta: �Seems you have us at a disadvantage. So are you gonna kill us with talk or with us having to endure looking at you two all day?�
Vin_Da_DM: �I see no reason we cannot do both, my love.� Shaiya rubs his chin with a smile.
Tewyn: �Ohh, how I do love your mind. Lets do both!�
Tabris: �Deadly torture indeed just watching them,� Tabris watches Tewyn and Shaiya.
Clarissa shakes her head, �If its the only way...I agree to help you.�
Tewyn: �Eeny-meeny-miney-moe...I choose the kitty and the HO!�
Vin_Da_DM: Shaiya moves her hand in another swift gesture. In a quick flash Luna and Claron disappear from the chamber and find themselves each in cold, empty rooms.
Tewyn: �Two down...any more volunteers?�
Clarice feels the pain subside from Luna�s healing touch, �You tell him, kitty!�
Kat|e gives Tewyn the finger.
Vin_Da_DM: �Damn you, dark elf�� Eclipse looks at Tewyn as his eyes flare.
Luna_Faline looks around grabbing my sai, �Not again,� I think to myself.
Tewyn: �I was damned long ago, old one...but you should know those feelings all to well.�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian stands quietly listening to Tewyn and Shaiya, quietly studying the situation.
^Shinta: �Damn, I am at a loss. What can we do, but let them have their little fun.�
Claron stands shaking as she realizes she has been separated from the others.
Vin_Da_DM: �Choose another, my love. Or let us go and play with the ones we have already.� Shaiya holds Tewyn�s hand gently.
Luna_Faline looks at the blood stone on the sai, calling out to Selenia, �YOU SAID TO TRUST HIM!! What now?�
Tewyn: �Hmm, lets go find that bratty girl. I�ve been dying to kill her for ages now.�
Kat|e�s emerald eyes blaze.
Vin_Da_DM: �Very good,� Bronze releases Clarissa from the force field, �Get to your task now, my dear. Oh, and I suggest doing as I ask. Should I find the witch�s guards coming for me, your brother will be scattered across the planet.�
Clarissa: �Bronze, I said I would, so release them.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Do your work first, then you get paid, my dear,� Bronze shakes his finger at her, �Tsk, tsk...I�m not that generous. Now, go.�
Clarissa glares at Bronze before turning to face Stryder.
Vin_Da_DM: �She�s around somewhere. It seems the guards are incompetent and lost her,� Shaiya looks at Tewyn as she turns from the balcony.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder eyes Clarissa from behind the force field, �I hope you know what you�ve gotten yourself into, Sis��
Tewyn: �Well, lets go kill some guards, then get her if she isn�t looking for you by now.�
^Shinta: �They won�t leave us here. We better be ready for something.�
Vin_Da_DM: �If they�re not already dead.� Shaiya says as she leaves the room.
Clarice stands very still watching Tewyn and Shaiya thinking to herself, �This is not the Tewyn I know�.
Vin_Da_DM: �Cold in here, isn�t it?� a voice from behind Luna sounds.
Tewyn turns and waves bye to the remaining, �Ohh, its been hell knowing you. You�re all gonna die anyway...course you probably knew that...buh-bye.�
Luna_Faline spins around holding the sai ready to strike.
Clarissa eyes show Stryder that she is having her own doubts. �Might not be one of my best ideas�� then heads off towards the door.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna notices a vaguely-familiar looking Serryn (humanoid dog) leaning against the wall. �So...I thought it was you. Didn�t expect to have you show up here of all places.�
Vin_Da_DM: Bronze yells after Clarissa, �Don�t worry, my dear. Your brother and friend will be well protected until you return.�
^Shinta looks to Kat|e, �That temper flaring up, is it?�
Tabris: �Well, great...now what are we supposed to do?� Tabris kicks the ground as he looks around at the others.
Kat|e hisses through her teeth, �Oooooh, I really detest that unholy bastard.�
Claron looks around the room.
^Shinta: �He is far from unholy I think��
Vin_Da_DM: Claron�s cell is bare and featureless, save for a glowing rock set into the ceiling that illuminates the room.
Clarissa looks back as she hears Bronze then continues to make her way down the corridor.
Luna_Faline: �Where did you expect me to show up?� I growl in frustration, �And how did you get in here?�
Tewyn: �So any idea where the brat can be?�Before she gets scared and runs to Mommy.�
Claron: �Guess I shouldn�t be planning on a prolonged stay here,� as she sees the bare room.
Vin_Da_DM: �First off, you can lower that little dagger of yours. And second, I�m here because I was tracking your little band of criminals down after you ruined my career,� He stands up, �Name�s Gau. Since you didn�t take the time to learn it last time we met.�
Clarice: �Any ideas?� looking over at Shinta.
Vin_Da_DM: �The crazy lady who runs this place decided to lock me up for �fun� after she learned I was after you guys,� Gau sighs, �Blank look? Don�t even remember me at all? Perhaps my border station you wrecked trying to get into our territory?�
^Shinta: �Not sure there is a way out of here. And if we do, we have no idea what they have waiting for us...they enjoy teasing victims it seems.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Any attempt to the leave the room is no doubt protected by a trap or spell,� The Guardian comments as he looks around, �But there is always a way out.�
^Shinta nods, �But its finding that way which could be costly.�
Vin_Da_DM: Shaiya looks at Tewyn as they walk down the hallway, �Hmm...she is too clever to be captured, but perhaps we can get her to come to us.�
Tewyn: �Oh, that would be perfect. Do call her, Mommy Shaiya.�
Luna_Faline: �Sorry to say�no, I don�t have the faintest idea of who you are. Must not have been a significant meeting.� Looking him over as I slip the sai into my sleeve, �But you still didn�t answer me, how did you get in here?�
Clarissa continues to move quietly along the citadel thinking as she moves along.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, some extremely large creatures tossed me in, if you must know. Hole closed right up though after they did.� Gau motions to the section of the ceiling, �I�ve tried everything to get out. It�s no good though.�
Clarissa slips through the next door she sees.
Luna_Faline: �I have one way out, but no one would survive if I used it,� I grumble.
Vin_Da_DM: �Do you now?� Gau raises a brow as he watches Luna.
Vin_Da_DM: ~Clarissa, my dear...come to my chambers. I want to talk to you.~ Shaiya�s voice rings out in Clarissa�s mind.
Luna_Faline: �It leaves one in a terrible state of confusion. Trying to decide when to use it,� looking up at the ceiling where he indicated he came from.
Vin_Da_DM: �Now, we shall see if she truly listens,� Shaiya gently smirks at Tewyn as she pushes open the door into her private chambers.
^Shinta starts looking around the room for a way to go, �Hmm, do we go up?� pointing to the balcony.
Clarice looks around at the others. �I find it odd that they took only two and left the rest of us standing here.�
Tewyn: �Oh, she will listen. She has been a mess without you.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Right...speaking of �how you got here�. Care to explain why you just popped in out of thin air?� Gau walks across the room watching Luna as he does.
Clarissa hears Momma Shaiya�s voice in her head and instantly finds herself in front of Shaiya�s door tapping lightly.
Tewyn: �Well, that didn�t take long,� smiling.
Luna_Faline watches Gau, �As you so aptly put it, the crazy lady who runs the place, waved her hand and poof�here I am.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m sure they�ll be back�� Eclipse growls lightly then watches the others.
Vin_Da_DM: �Come in,� Shaiya speaks as the door opens by itself, �Clarissa, how nice of you to join us.�
Clarice: �I for one am not so certain.�
^Shinta taps Kat|e, �You still here? Or did ya pass out standing up this time?�
Clarissa enters Shaiya�s chambers smiling until she notices Tewyn.
Tewyn eyes focus on Clarissa, �Well, well�look who it is.�
Tabris glances around the room then angrily throws one of his swords at the wall causing the blade to shatter, �That bastard...I should have killed him while I had the chance.�
Clarissa: �You have come to see your twins?�
Tewyn: �No, my dear...I�ve come to kill you and your family�you are interfering with Shaiya�s plans.�
Tewyn: �And I just don�t like you, so...that�s my perk.�
Kat|e jumps, �Oh, I�m here. I�m just thinking up creative ways to peel a froggy.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, I�m guessing she didn�t put us in the same cell without a reason�� Gau crosses his arms, �Though I find it interesting that they let you keep your weapon.�
Claron moves herself into the center of the room and sits down on the floor cradling her knees in both arms under the rock light overhead.
^Shinta: �Don�t get lost too much, we need you here.�
Luna_Faline thinks about that for a moment, �Yes, it is.�
Tewyn waves Clarissa closer, �Don�t be shy, we don�t bite...too hard.�
Clarissa looks back at Tewyn, �WHY?� acting all naive.
Tewyn: �Just come...Hmm, seems odd your alone without that brother of yours...what you been up to?�
Vin_Da_DM: �So defiant...what have these Warriors been teaching you, Clarissa?� Shaiya says as she reclines in a chair.
Tewyn stands heading toward Clarissa, �I think she is hiding something.�
Vin_Da_DM: �So...they decided to get rid of me. That would explain why you�re here with a weapon and I�m not.� Gau lowers his gaze at Luna.
Clarice hears Kat|e�s comment. �I am not convinced he will harm us...the Drow I know, just wouldn�t��
Luna_Faline sighs, �Since her favorite past time is torment, I would suspect she thinks we would be natural enemies.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m not so sure that�s the Drow you know anymore, Clarice.� Eclipse looks over at Clarice as his spines flex for a moment.
Kat|e nods thoughtfully.
Clarissa: �Oh, I went to visit Stryder, but they had moved him,� leaving out the part that she had watched them move him.
Tewyn ears move, �She is a bad liar...your tone changed,� circling around her.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, then...any ideas on how to get out of here?� Gau stands back up and glances to the ceiling.
Luna_Faline looks around the room again, �There is usually more than one way out of her prisons,� placing a paw on the surface of the wall.
Tewyn pushes Clarissa toward Shaiya, �Now, tell Mommy the truth,� standing behind her his hands moving at his sides.
Vin_Da_DM: �They have you lying to me now?� Shaiya gets a stern look on her face, �Yes. The truth.�
Clarice glances over at Eclipse, �He�s...he�s my DROW still�� whispers more to convince herself than the others.
^Shinta touches Clarice, �Its hard to accept that which we�ve lost, but we must go on.�
Clarissa cringes and digs in her heels as Tewyn begins to move her towards Shaiya, �I am...THEY did move him��
Vin_Da_DM: �I�ve looked for cracks, holes, hidden panels, switches...and I found nothing. Save for the odd thing that happens if you stand certain places.� Gau says as he moves around a bit.
Clarice�s mind screams, �You are wrong! I know it!�
Tewyn: �You better spill it, girly�or shall I spill your insides right here?�
Luna_Faline pushes against the wall as Gau moves around.
Tewyn pushes Clarissa closer toward Shaiya.
Vin_Da_DM: �Yes, they did move him. And unfortunately he broke out along with another prisoner and my poor jailor was killed. You wouldn�t have seen any of that now, would you?� Shaiya looks at Clarissa, studying her responses.
Vin_Da_DM: The wall doesn�t budge for Luna as she pushes.
Clarissa struggles briefly, then looks up at Momma Shaiya as she hears her question, �He broke out? No, I didn�t see any of that.�
Tewyn shakes his head, �She is misleading you.�
^Shinta: �So are we gonna just sit here and wait...or do we move?�
Clarissa turns to look at Tewyn, �I am not!�
Tewyn: �I saw that same naive look when she was playing her natural parents.�
Tewyn: �Did you not think I wasn�t studying your every niche and way of carrying yourself.�
Tewyn pushes Clarissa within arms reach of Shaiya, �Last chance��
Tabris: �And were do you suggest we go? I don�t exactly see any exits around here.� Tabris looks at Shinta.
Clarissa shrugs her shoulder, �And you are such an excellent judge of one...so good�that you had to name one after the girl that died for you.�
Luna_Faline: �What odd things happen?� I ask Gau impatiently, pulling the sai out of my sleeve again.
Vin_Da_DM: Shaiya stands slowly and looks at Tewyn and Clarissa.
Tewyn: �But will you live up to your name��
Claron sits wondering about the others.
Tewyn: �She can�t be trusted, we should just kill her.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Not sure exactly. I thought it was simply a mere visual trick.� Gau moves to a certain spot and looks at the room, �If you stand at different places, the way the room look changes slightly.�
Clarissa lowers her head as Momma Shaiya stands.
^Shinta: �We can go up,� pointing to the balcony, �Or down,� stomping on the floor.
Vin_Da_DM: �Don�t be so hasty to kill her, my love,� Shaiya lifts Clarissa�s chin with her hand, �Now then, Clarissa. Tell me if he tells the truth about you?�
Clarice: �Lets just go up and follow the way Shaiya and Tewyn departed.�
Tewyn places his head by Clarissa, �You hate us, don�t you? You want to kill us...Where is all that hate you carried?�Huh? Don�t tell me you lost it all.�
Luna_Faline thinks Gau has been alone too long, but moves close to where he is standing and looks around for a moment.
Vin_Da_DM: �It�s higher than all of you can jump, but given a boost I could get you up.� The Guardian says as he moves to the balcony and judges the height.
^Shinta: �Well, we must do something...before things get out of hand.�
Clarissa looks at Shaiya slowly, �It�s not me that wants to kill her,� flinging her arms around Shaiya�s waist.
Tewyn eyes Clarissa cautiously.
Vin_Da_DM: From the spot Luna notices the room extends a few feet more on two sides of the room. Gau looks at her, �Strange...now over here,� He moves across the room, �It changes again.�
Luna_Faline follows him to the next spot and looks around again, wondering what it means.
Vin_Da_DM: In the next spot the ceiling and side wall extend up and outward slightly, �I couldn�t figure it out, so I shook it off. Think it�s something?� Gau asks.
Clarice: �I agree, so lets move.�
Vin_Da_DM: Shaiya places her hand gently on Clarissa then looks at Tewyn. Looking down at Clarissa she nods, �Tell me the truth, Clarissa.�
Kat|e: �Amen. So how are we gonna do it?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Hmm�� Gau looks around for a moment thinking, �It�s just been me in here, but now. Stay there.� Moving back across the room he stands in the other spot he pointed out and looks around.
Tewyn: �Hmm, do you smell that...I think there is death in the air?�
Luna_Faline shakes my head trying to figure out what is going on.
Clarissa: �Why is it, every time�what I say is doubted?...I have done all you have ever wanted me to do.�
Tewyn stands closer, �Do you smell it, Clarissa? That smell of death�possibly your own.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Since they allowed us to keep our weapons,� the Guardian moves his spear around then reaches up and sticks it into the balcony near the bottom, �Hopefully that will do. Now you�re going to have to climb on me and grab the spear to pull yourselves up.�
Clarissa sniffs the air...and begins to tremble slightly.
Vin_Da_DM: �Now, that�s interesting�� Gau tilts his head, �Move about two feet to your right��
Clarissa: �Maybe it is yours you smell.�
Tewyn: �Mine...Oh, are you going to kill me, little girl?�
^Shinta: �Then lets get to it.�
Luna_Faline looks at Gau with total confusion as I move over where he indicated. �Now what?�
Vin_Da_DM: When Luna moves she notices a dark spot appear on the floor near Gau. Looking at her he shrugs, �See anything different?�
Clarice wastes no time and begins to climb up the Guardian, grabbing the spear and pulling herself up and over the balcony.
Luna_Faline sees the dark area, then looks next to myself to see if I have one also, �Do you?� I ask.
^Shinta touches Kat|e�s shoulder, �Shall we?�
Clarissa: �I didn�t say that!�
Vin_Da_DM: �Yes. Something on the floor, that�s why I had you move,� Gau points at her feet, �You�re standing on it now.�
Kat|e nods and walks over to the Guardian and climbs gingerly up him to grab the spear and shimmying up onto the balcony.
Tewyn laughs, �Surely you don�t think you can kill Shaiya.�
Luna_Faline looks at my feet, �There is a dark place on the floor next to you,� I point to it.
Tabris manages to climb up the Guardian as well, grabbing the spear and struggling a bit to get over the balcony with the others.
^Shinta follows behind Katie, �Weirdest step ladder I�ve ever used.�
Clarissa: �Why are you trying to put words into my mouth?...I didn�t say that...just seems logical to me that if you are here, the other Warriors can�t be far behind.�
Luna_Faline: �I hope we�re not about to blow ourselves up doing this,� nervously watching Gau.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse hops onto the Guardian then bounces off the spear landing on the balcony railing. Hopping down he looks back, �Now, can you get up here yourself?�
Tewyn: �Does it look like I�m with them...and they are of no threat anymore.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Let�s hope not�� Gau moves to where Luna pointed. A hole opens up in the ceiling and Claron falls through landing on the floor between the two.
Clarissa tries to hide the panic she experiences briefly at hearing Tewyn�s words.
Tewyn smiles at Shaiya, �There is your truth.�
Luna_Faline watches Claron fall, �That is not what I expected,� stepping over to help her up.
Clarissa: �What truth? You have proven nothing!�
Vin_Da_DM: As Luna steps off the hole closes quickly.
Tewyn: �Haven�t I?�
Luna_Faline reaches a paw down to Claron, �You alright?�
Clarissa turns around quickly then zips behind Tewyn, grabbing one of his arms and pulling it up tightly against his back, �No!�
Vin_Da_DM: Shaiya grins as she watches the two, �All the built up frustration is finally coming out. Good, this should be entertaining.� Resting her arms against her sides Shaiya takes a few steps back.
Claron lifts her head up at the sound of Luna_Faline�s voice. �I am fine...but how did you?�� noticing Gau.
Tewyn: �Oh, there is some fight left in her yet..�
Vin_Da_DM: �Another one? Hmm...I guess we should figure out the next step.� Gau looks around the room again.
Clarissa jerks up harder on Tewyn�s arm.
Luna_Faline: �Are there any other odd spots?� I ask Gau.
Claron watches Gau, �What�s he talking about?�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian grabs hold of his spear and pulls himself up to the balcony with the others. Hopping over he reaches down to pry the spear loose from it�s spot.
Tewyn: �But you have me judged all wrong, I�m not going to kill you...I�m gonna kill her!� Jumping and plunging the heat rod he has been activating the whole time into Shaiya�s chest, �Tick, tick�lover...time to go boom!�
Tabris: �Down the hall, I guess�� Tabris heads into the corridor leading away from the balcony.
Luna_Faline shrugs, �We had to stand in the right 2 spots to get the hole in the ceiling to open, I just didn�t expect you to fall thru it.�
Clarissa feels Tewyn pull away from her and in a flash sees him lunge at Shaiya.
Vin_Da_DM: Shaiya looks at Tewyn, then at the rod stuck in her chest, �True deceit...I knew such evil existed in you, my love�� stumbling backwards she falls onto her bed.
Tewyn glares at Shaiya, �Never stand between a drow and his family! You ice-hearted bitch!!� Grabs Clarissa, �We have to go, your dad is waiting.�
Clarissa stands like she has been frozen in her place as Shaiya falls back on the bed.
Tewyn pulls Clarissa, �Come on, this isn�t finished yet.. MOVE!�
Clarissa feels Tewyn grabbing her...then whispers softly as they begin to leave� �You were right��
Vin_Da_DM: Shaiya goes limp on the bed and quietly the room begins to fold in around Tewyn and Clarissa.
Tewyn: �No time to talk, just run! Oh, and you might want to give that brother of yours a heads up.�
Clarissa moves quickly after grabbing Tewyn�s hand and zips out of the door just before it collapses.
^Shinta looks down the corridor.
Kat|e: �Now which way?� she murmurs.
Vin_Da_DM: Gau moves around the room then stops, �Two spots...I see them. There and there�� he points to the two different spots on the floor.
Tewyn: �That way, your dad should be over towards there!�
Clarissa hears Tewyn. ~Stryder, I need you!~
Luna_Faline drags Claron over to one spot then moves to the other one. �Here we go.�
Vin_Da_DM: With a deep rumbling the floors and ceiling of the corridor begin to crack radiating outward from the room.
^Shinta: �That can�t be good.��
Kat|e: �Oh, balls. This doesn�t sound good.�
Clarissa then looks at Tewyn, �It won�t be so easy�I did see Stryder and the other guy.��
Tewyn: �Get the others and it will be,� keeps heading back towards the balcony.
Vin_Da_DM: ~You need me? Did you forget your freaky friend still has us down here?~ Stryder replies sounding frustrated.
Clarissa continues in the direction Tewyn points to.
Clarissa: ~I haven�t forgotten, just wasn�t sure if I would get a reply back or not. Tewyn he plunged something in Shaiya�s chest�Mom and Dad�the others, they are here�
somewhere.~
Vin_Da_DM: �I hear something up ahead,� Eclipse says as he looks down the hallway.
Kat|e stops and listens.
Clarice begins to smile as she sees Tewyn walking out of the door ahead of them.
^Shinta stops and listens.
Clarice: �See...I told you...I knew he wouldn�t let us down!�
Tewyn stops and lets Clarissa reach the others.
Kat|e�s eyes widen, and she stiffens, on guard.
Kat|e: �What�s he up to now?� Her gaze narrows.
Vin_Da_DM: As the three spots in the room are activated the wall splits apart giving a view of the citadel courtyard as well as spires starting to crumble.
Clarissa sees Tabris and runs toward him wrapping her arms around him, �I know where Stryder is��
Tewyn: �One child delivered�.�
Tabris: �Clarissa...you�re safe. Where�s your brother?� Tabris looks over at Tewyn, �You...bastard, damn you, had us wanting to kill you.�
Kat|e continues to glare.
Vin_Da_DM: Gau�s eyes widen as he looks out the wall, �I hope we didn�t do that��
Luna_Faline yells at Claron and Gau, �That did it, let�s get out of here!�
Clarissa looks at Tabris, �Bronze has Stryder...he is holding him till I do something for him.�
Tewyn lowers his head, �I did what I had to do...If I couldn�t deceive you�I was dead before I got her when Shaiya found me.�
Clarissa: �He wants me to kill Shaiya and�� looks over at Tewyn, �....and Tewyn��
Vin_Da_DM: �We can talk about this later...I suggest we leave before this place comes down on top of us,� Guardian says as he looks at the corridor.
^Shinta touches Kat|e, �Its okay...he did good.�
Kat|e: �We have to get the others.�
Tabris: �Well, we�ll just have to deal with him then�� Tabris looks at Clarissa.
Luna_Faline runs toward the opening in the wall, grabbing Claron�s hand to pull her along, �Come on, hurry!�
Kat|e pulls away, �Or he�s still playing us.�
Tewyn: �There is a way�� looking at Clarice, �And you will have to do it.�
Clarissa looks at Tewyn with a new found look of respect on her face.
Clarice looks at Tewyn, �What are you thinking?�
Vin_Da_DM: As Gau steps off his spot on the floor the wall begins to close, �Hurry up, it�s closing!� He dashes for the opening.
Tewyn: �Put me on ice, till I�m dead, or close to it...I�m sure no one will argue with you.�
^Shinta: �Stop looking with hate, Kat|e...see it with clear eyes.�
Clarice looks at Tewyn then looks at Tabris, �Like what happened with Claron in the past?�
Vin_Da_DM: �You want to fake your death?� Eclipse looks at Tewyn, �I may have an idea...if I can still do it.�
Tewyn: �If it sets Stryder free, then I�ll give up myself.�
Luna_Faline pulls Claron out the opening as the wall is closing, �That was close,� looking at Gau as I catch my breath.
Clarissa: �But what if he demands proof? How can I prove Shaiya is dead?�
Tewyn: �This place falling apart is proof...her spell is broken.�
Tabris: �This place is falling apart...and I�m guessing it didn�t start until you killed her,� Tabris looks around then at Clarissa and Tewyn.
Vin_Da_DM: Sliding through the opening Gau dusts himself off, �Well...so much for being inescapable.�
Claron looks at Luna_Faline as if she was looking right thru her.
^Shinta: �See, Kat|e...not everyone is the cold person they put out there to be.�
Clarice nods her head after thinking about it. �It could work.�
Vin_Da_DM: �If we�re going to free Stryder, I suggest we go now.� Guardian points out as the others talk.
Luna_Faline turns on Claron and grabs her, giving her a shake, �What�s wrong with you? Wake up!�
Tewyn: �We have no time for debate��
Kat|e snorts inelegantly.
Tewyn: �Do what you can, Eclipse. If I die in the process, so be it�� winks at Clarice.
Clarissa nods her head, �Then follow me. I can take you right to them.�
Kat|e: �Take a hell of a lot to make me ever trust him again.� She turns away.
Vin_Da_DM: �We�ll have to find Claron and Luna, otherwise the plan will kill you and I...I won�t do that to you, Tewyn.� Eclipse looks at him, �Come on...if we have to fight this guy, Clarissa, we will.�
^Shinta grabs Kat|e, �Like it took you to trust me! You really need to shake those cobwebs out of your head and see things as they are.�
Clarice smiles back then moves closer to Tewyn, leaning into his ear and whispering softly, �Still mine, I see.�
Clarissa turns back to face the direction she and Tewyn came from, �Coming?� as she starts to head off.
Luna_Faline looks around the courtyard wondering where everyone else is.
Tabris follows after Clarissa, �Claron�s a fighter...she�s all right, I know it.�
Tewyn: �They weren�t harmed, just put in holding,� following behind the others.
Vin_Da_DM: Save for the falling debris from the spires the courtyard is fairly empty. A few guards are making their way toward ships that are preparing to take off. Several other ships are already in the sky heading for space.
Tewyn looks back at Clarice, �I�m still yours, if I survive.�
Kat|e yanks her arm out of his grasp and gives him a cold look, �You know what? Stop telling me what to do! I�m tired of never knowing from day to day who the fuck I am, and where I come from. My memory is in fragments, and I�m only barely beginning to feel comfortable in my surroundings.� She turns to stalk off behind the others.
Clarice�s smile broadens, �Then we shall see to it that you survive,� taking Tewyn�s hand and following the others.
^Shinta drops his head muttering, �Cause the old stubborn Kat|e won�t let you ask for any help that some of us can give.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Assuming my ship is still where they left it I�m going after it. We�re even now...and I doubt I�ll see you again.� Gau looks at them, nods then starts heading toward the ships on the ground.
Luna_Faline: �Thanks for the help,� I call out as he walks away.
Clarissa leads the group promptly back to the place she left Stryder. Pointing to the door up ahead of them, �I left them in there.�
Tewyn: �We can�t go any further till I�m deceased.�
Kat|e gives a humorless laugh, �There�ll be a line for that one.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Clarice? Ready to freeze him?� Eclipse looks at her sternly then over at Tewyn, �I�m sorry about how much this will hurt��
^Shinta gives an angered look to Kat|e, �That the black widow talking, or someone else?�
Luna_Faline sniffs the air trying to get a familiar smell to follow.
Kat|e: �Well, I�m not,� she mutters, �Hope it hurts like hell.�
Tewyn shrugs, �I�m used to pain...so nothing new.�
Vin_Da_DM: The familiar scent of the others radiates from across the courtyard...it is very faint but it is there.
Kat|e turns and her eyes widen.
Kat|e: �Black�� she scowls, �Fuck you.�
Clarice nods her head at Eclipse then leans in placing a kiss on Tewyn�s lips, �Sleep well, rest well, my love,� as she begins to freeze Tewyn in a death like slumber.
Luna_Faline catches the trail and looks at Claron�s eyes, �Great time to turn zombie on me,� grabbing her hand I pull her along as I track the others.
^Shinta just looks at Kat|e.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse places his hand on Tewyn�s chest after Clarice kisses him, a black shadowy tendril dips into Tewyn�s chest quickly then retracts. �We�ll need Luna to heal him after this is done...otherwise that�ll be permanent.�
Claron suddenly jerks her arm away, �Just what in the hell do you think you are doing?... Pulling me along like some child?�
Kat|e: �Pity�� She walks away.
Tewyn grimaces for a second then goes lifeless.
Clarice looks at Eclipse, �You could have said that before I kissed him!�
Luna_Faline lets her go as I continue to follow the scent, �Well, nice of you to join me,� I purr at Claron.
Vin_Da_DM: �All right...with the freezing and what I did, Tewyn will be �dead� for a few hours�� Eclipse cringes hoping that Luna is safe and will heal him.
Claron follows along after Luna_Faline, �Last thing I remember was you and some other person just suddenly appeared. Just what the hell is going on?�
Tabris grabs Tewyn then looks at Clarissa, �You�re on.�
Vin_Da_DM: With several loud booms the remaining ships in the courtyard take off into the sky.
^Shinta goes to Kat|e, �I�m going to get you back...if it takes you hating me to get you there, then so be it...I, we need you,� walking back to join the others.
Luna_Faline: �I�m not sure about anything at the moment. But we need to find the others. I caught their scent on the air.�
Clarissa opens up the door and walks into the room.
Vin_Da_DM: The scent trail leads Luna to an doorway set into the base of one of the spires, debris from the crumbling continues to rain down around them.
Kat|e looks at Shinta�s back, her lip quivering.
Claron nods her head, �They could be anywhere...good thing you have a keen sense of smell.�
Luna_Faline enters the door way, dodging the falling pieces. I pull open the door carefully.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder and Durandal, still both stuck behind force field watch Clarissa. Bronze tilts his head with a smile, �The towers come crashing to the ground...and I see the dead dark elf. You work quickly, my dear.�
Clarissa glances around the room as she enters it.
Clarissa smiles, �Do you work just as quickly? I have held up my end of the bargain.�
Tabris drags Tewyn into the room then looks ahead at Bronze and mutters to himself.
Vin_Da_DM: �Indeed you have,� Bronze lifts his hand as Stryder and Durandal�s force fields disappear, �And I shall hold mine. What is your request?�
Claron follows Luna_Faline as she enjoys manipulating the pieces of debris� gravity coming towards them.
Vin_Da_DM: The door leads into a wide corridor, from the right Luna notices the smell is stronger.
Luna_Faline steps into the hall and follows the smell to the right.
Clarissa: �My request... help us get away from here��
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse turns and looks around��Luna? She�s close.�
Luna_Faline sorts the many scents focusing on one, I move faster, �Eclipse?� I purr softly.
Vin_Da_DM: �So be it...I presume you wish all of your friends to get away as well?� Bronze folds his hands at his sides, blades attached to them sliding carefully across his clothing.
Clarissa smirks, �That is what we agreed to.�
Clarissa: �Yes, my friends, too�and one more thing�we want the dead body of Tewyn as well.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Oh, I see? Planning to entertain yourself with the corpse, my dear? I did not take you for one such as that�� Bronze looks over the others, then eyes Clarissa, �Very well. One departure coming up.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse turns and opens a side door leaving the room heading into the hallway and almost runs into Luna in the process. �Luna! You�re all right! She was right about him!�
Clarissa looks back at Bronze, �Think whatever you want. Just know...you changed the original stakes...it wasn�t me.�
Luna_Faline sighs heavily with relief, �Are you all okay?� grabbing Eclipse I hug him briefly. �Right about what?�
Vin_Da_DM: Bronze turns towards one of the walls and begins to move both his arms in front of him. After several phrases of an unknown language a thin blue portal opens in front of him. �A return to your ship, hiding itself in the canyon. I would go before your precious route home is crushed.�
Kat|e dashes for the portal.
Claron stands behind Luna_Faline as she hears Eclipse. �Good nose you got there, kitty.�
Kat|e: �Dun hafta tell ME twice!�
Vin_Da_DM: Bronze turns and descends into the secret passageway stairs in the floor, which close after him.
^Shinta follows Kat|e.
Luna_Faline tells Claron, �Yours are all in there,� pointing thru the door without looking at her.
Vin_Da_DM: �Tewyn...he was on our side the whole time.� Eclipse moves back into the room with the others, �Once we get back to the ship you have to heal him...or he�ll die.�
Clarissa runs over and hugs Stryder, �Lets get out of here.� Then looks over at Durandal, �Follow us.�
Luna_Faline holds onto Eclipse�s arm as he moves back into the room where the others are. �I have to heal Tewyn?� I purrumbles.
Claron races past Luna_Faline and straight towards her family.
Clarice: �Yes, you MUST!�
Vin_Da_DM: The Guardian moves over to Tabris and takes Tewyn from him laying him over his shoulder. Quietly he goes through the portal.
Luna_Faline looks at Tewyn�s lifeless body as Guardian disappears. �You seem awfully eager, Clarice, after what he�s done to you.�
Claron watches as the Guardian takes Tewyn, then moves closer to Tabris slipping her arm around his waist, �You found them, just like you promised.�
Vin_Da_DM: Durandal watches everyone quietly, then looks down at the gauntlet on his wrist as it makes noise, �Hmm...so, they did not come alone.� Looking up he examines the room, �This room will not hold for long. I suggest leaving.�
Clarissa smiles as she sees Claron and Tab together. ~I told you Grandfather helped me.~
Clarissa and Stryder step through the portal.
Luna_Faline looks over at Durandal, �We had another of your kind with us when we came here.�
Vin_Da_DM: ~So he did...so, is it true? Is she really gone?~ Stryder says to Clarissa as they clear the other side of the portal with the others.
Claron watches as the twins step through before she and Tabris enter.
Vin_Da_DM: The portal deposits everyone out in front of the canyon where the Ettik had landed.
Kat|e scurries for the ship.
^Shinta walks to the ship and finds his room quietly.
Luna_Faline looks at the portal, �Are you coming?� I ask Durandal.
Clarissa: ~I dunno. But as soon as Tewyn did whatever it was when he lunged on her, this place started breaking apart...besides, all that matters right now is I didn�t lose you.~
Vin_Da_DM: Nodding Durandal looks at Luna, �Of course. And I know my brother is here.�
Luna_Faline nods then looks at Eclipse, �I hate portals,� sighing as I step toward it.
Clarissa: ~I couldn�t have done it without Tewyn�s help.~
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at Luna, �I know��
Kat|e goes to her quarters, flopping on the bed. �Black Widow?� She sighs and stares at the ceiling. �What does HE know?�
Luna_Faline takes a deep breath and steps into the portal, seeing the ship as I come out on the other side.
Claron and Tabris approach Clarissa and Stryder. Claron hugs them both tightly, �Maybe I should keep you two in a heavy gravity field, so as not to lose you two again,� chuckles softly.
Vin_Da_DM: As the last of the group steps through the portal it slides closed, disappearing. Durandal looks around then towards Clarissa and Stryder, �I thank you for helping me escape.�
Clarice follows the other through and heads straight for Med Bay.
Vin_Da_DM: A small group of Predators lead by Chavande decloak from nearby, talking to them for a moment Durandal turns again, �The clan owes you a debt...if you ever require our aid, seek us out. Good hunting, Humans.�
Clarissa looks back at Durandal, �You helped us...if you hadn�t of been there...well..... there was no way I could have beaten the horned red one.�
Luna_Faline walks slowly to the Ettik and climbs on board, dreading the coming task, I head to my room.
Clarissa smiles softly then moves closer towards Durandal.
Luna_Faline enters my room and places my sai on the altar. Looking at the small image of Selenia as I rub my amulet. I whisper �I�ve never been able to bring someone back from the dead, Mistress,� bowing my head.
Clarissa watches Durandal and the others.
Clarice races down the corridor of the Ettik after boarding her slowing to a slow walk as she approaches the door of Med Bay.
Vin_Da_DM: After handing something to Durandal, Chavande and the other Predators turn and begin to walk off, Durandal looks down at Clarissa. �You are a strong young warrior, Clarissa.� Reaching down he hands her long knife. �Stay strong, young one.�
Vin_Da_DM: Durandal salutes Clarissa then turns, cloaking with the others they disappear.
Vin_Da_DM: The Guardian follows Clarice to the med bay, carefully setting Tewyn down on one of the exam tables.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse leans against the doorway to Luna�s room, �You can do it. I believe in you.�
Clarissa looks up at Durandal as she accepts his knife, then watches him and the others fade from her view. Clarissa turns back to look at Claron, Tab and Stryder.
Kat|e jumps up from the bed and paces, �Who the hell does he think he is? I get so tired of him ordering me around. I�ve got enough on my plate just trying to find my place in this world. Without him making me feel small. Oh!� she growls to no one, �The NERVE of some people.�
Clarice moves closer to Tewyn placing her hand on his arm, �Where is Luna_Faline? Time is of much value right now!� looking at the Guardian.
Tabris eyes the knife then looks at Clarissa, �Guess you should be honored. Now, let�s get back on the ship, so we can get off this planet.�
Luna_Faline stands up with a heavy sigh, �I�m glad you believe in me. It makes me feel better to hear that someone does.� Moving over to Eclipse, �What happened to him?�
Kat|e sits back down on her bed, the fractured pictures playing in her head.
Clarissa smiles as she rejoins her family and proudly holds the knife. �Would like to see about Tewyn, too,� as she begins to board Ettik with her parents and Stryder.
Vin_Da_DM: �Clarice froze him and I managed to stop his biological activity temporarily...if it�s not restarted he�ll die for real.� Eclipse looks at Luna as he ducks out into the hallway.
Luna_Faline follows him into the hallway. �So, you reverse what ever you did. Clarice thaws him out. All�s good. Why do you need me?�
Kat|e sees a young mouse/man with twinkling eyes smiling at her, the same man in a garden of oddly hued roses, and again surrounded by the others of her �crew�. She sighs, �I DO remember some things.� Then she sees Shinta coming onto a ship, and the mistrust she had for him.
Kat|e: She sees the way she wouldn�t let him touch her, how she backed away from him every time he tried to talk to her. �Oh, I remember alright. I remember I hadn�t quite gotten around to trusting you. Then suddenly I am here, and I can�t place half the events of before. And you want me to think everything is hunky-dory? Bite me, Shaman.�
Clarissa hears Durandal�s words in her mind, �strong young warrior� then smiles. �Thanks, Grandfather.�
Vin_Da_DM: �We need you because I can only stop the activity...not restart it,� Eclipse lowers his head as he starts down the hallway, �It is an offense ability.�
Clarice finds herself growing increasingly impatient waiting on Luna, �Look, times a wasting...he is already beginning to thaw out...he wasn�t frozen exactly like Claron was.�
Tabris: �Grandfather?� Tabris looks at Claron with a shrug, �Now, that we have you two back...we need to work out a plan to not lose you again.�
Luna_Faline shakes my head, �I see.�
Clarissa looks at Tabris, �I saw him, he helped me to see things more clearly.�
Vin_Da_DM: The com system sparks to life with Alexei�s voice, �With all the chatter I�m getting from Ettik, I�m guessing you�re all back and safe? And nobody bothered to tell me.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder shrugs, ~So...how exactly did you see him anyway?~ He looks at Clarissa questioningly.
Clarice can feel Tewyn�s skin beginning to thaw. �Just what is keeping her?�
Kat|e gets up again, and begins some stretching exercises to burn off some of her nervous energy, going into some martial arts moves.
Vin_Da_DM: �I am sure she�s on her way,� Guardian stands to the side of the table, watching Clarice with Tewyn.
Luna_Faline stops Eclipse at the door to the med bay. �You know how much I wanted to kill him? How am I supposed to heal him with all that hate in here?� rubbing my chest with a paw. I turn and enter the med bay not waiting for a reply.
Clarissa: ~He came to me...I dunno how it happened...but it did.~
Claron stands quietly listening, �Maybe Clarissa will tell us all about that visit��
Luna_Faline: Stepping close to the table I look down at Tewyn. �You�ve done horrible things to people who loved you. Now, you have to make amends,� placing my paws on his chest I look at Clarice and nod.
Tabris: �Maybe�� Tabris leans over a kisses Claron, �I�m glad you�re alright, too.�
Clarissa and Stryder see Luna_Faline and Eclipse outside Med Bay as they approach and hears what Luna_Faline says. �It was part of his plan the whole time.�
Clarissa continues to speak, �He did what he had to do...that�s all there is to it.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse enters the med bay and stands off to the side, watching Luna with Tewyn.
Claron smiles then kisses Tabris back. �I am glad we all are, myself.�
Clarice bends over and kisses Tewyn.
Clarissa: �Is something wrong?�
Luna_Faline watches as Clarice kisses him, I remove my paws and step back.
Tewyn takes in a breath whispering, �Yeah, that hurt.��
Vin_Da_DM: �I told you it would�� Eclipse shakes his head as he watches Tewyn.
Luna_Faline turns and walks away, past Eclipse and the others and heads back to my room silently.
Tewyn coughs, �Did we get them?�
Clarice smiles as she hears Tewyn whisper, �I promise, the next time the hurt will be far more pleasurable as well.�
Luna_Faline: Entering my room I go to the bath room and turn on the shower. �O� Goddess, I had to touch him,� I growl.
Luna_Faline strips quickly and steps into the shower. Letting the warm water run over my fur as I try to forget everything.
Clarissa steps closer to Tewyn placing her little hand in his... �Thanks, I couldn�t have saved Stryder without you...Please, forgive me.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse quietly enters Luna�s quarters and sits on her bed. Looking at the altar he quietly says Luna�s prayer to himself.
Tewyn smiles weakly, �I wasn�t saving him...I was saving you. I gave you a glimpse of what you were on the road to becoming. Wasn�t nice, huh?�
Vin_Da_DM: The hum of Ettik�s engines powering up sounds across the ship.
Clarissa: �You see my grandfather, too?�
Luna_Faline smells Eclipse enter the room, �You said we need to do more showers�� I call out with a soft teasing growl.
Kat|e finishes and flops back onto the bed, sweating lightly. She growls to herself. �Men!�
Tewyn shakes his head, �Only what Shaiya was doing...but you figured it out�Guess I didn�t need to do anything.�
Vin_Da_DM: Standing up Eclipse moves to the door of the bathroom, smiling he begins to take off his armor. Entering the shower without a word he embraces Luna and kisses her, �Many more��
Clarissa: �Yes, you did need to...I couldn�t have made good on my bargain with Bronze by myself.�
Vin_Da_DM: As the Ettik lifts off into the sky the remains of Shaiya�s citadel comes crashing to the ground with a thunderous roar. Out in space RD�s fleet disappears into hyperspace leaving behind several wrecks, and the Predator vessels move away from the planet as well, cloaking as they do.
Vin_Da_DM: In the caverns below the now-ruined citadel, Bronze descends in a large oval chamber. Looking ahead he grins wickedly, �Well, they are leaving, comforted by the illusion of victory.�
