Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: While the Ettik grew closer to Gabe�s space station the crew decided to get some food and conversation before the inevitable confrontation that no doubt awaited them.
Vin_Da_DM: Soon exchanging words turned into an argument, and Tewyn began to reveal dark secrets about Clarissa and just how much she did in the company of Shaiya and how much it tainted her. He also mentioned another set of twins whom Clarissa mentored.
Vin_Da_DM: As Ettik exited hyperspace into a massive space battle between Gabe and RD�s forces most of the crew was transported onboard the space station which had been invaded by troops. Zach took off to find his father and deliver the orb with a security squad escorting him.
Vin_Da_DM: On their way across the station a walkway was hit by debris and broken apart. Cutting Claron and Tabris off from the others and causing Clarice to plummet to her unknown fate. Zach and his escort were ambushed by stealth robots and the orb case was stolen.
Vin_Da_DM: Enabling a lockdown to slow the enemies retreat, Zach and the others went to get the case back. Meanwhile Stryder and Clarissa teleported to the one place they could and ended up meeting a pair dressed in black.
Vin_Da_DM: The man draws his sword while the woman lifts her hands as they become wreathed in purple flames�
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
Vin_Da_DM: The woman smirks as the flames twirl around her fingers, �I�ll take dear sweet Clarissa, Brother. You can have the boy.�
Vin_Da_DM: The man grins equally as sinister, �With pleasure.� The two begin to advance slowly toward Clarissa and Stryder.
Vin_Da_DM: The elevator zooms upward, Zach eyes the group with a sigh. �Kind of cramped, but it�s the quickest route.�
Clarissa looks at the twins, �I think not�� Moving quickly behind the pair.
Vin_Da_DM: Back on Ettik, Midnight pads into the botanical bay sniffing around at the shrubs and trees.
Luna_Faline squeezes harder, snarling angrily at Tewyn, barely resisting the urge to snap his neck and be done with him.
Vin_Da_DM: With an equally swift movement the woman turns and flings her hand at Clarissa. A stream of purple energy flies out toward her.
Fern is sitting in the branches of her favorite tree. Fern looks down at Midnight.
Claron: �If he has hurt one hair on our children�s heads�� whispers to Tabris.
Luna_Faline growls, �Your children, and your sister.�
Clarissa dodges quickly out of the way. �Are you certain you want to do this?�
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight tilts his head and looks up at Fern, he barks at her as Ettik shutters under another round of enemy fire.
Vin_Da_DM: Drawing his dagger Stryder begins to fight with the man, carefully using his shimmering to avoid the strikes.
Vin_Da_DM: �Are you?� the woman grins and lifts her other hand as Clarissa becomes circled by flaming bolts of purple fire.
Fern finally notices the shudders shaking Ettik. Fern jumps out of the branches and kneels in front of Midnight.
Vin_Da_DM: Ettik�s com comes to life in the botanical bay, �I don�t know what you�re still doing onboard, but I transported the others to the station, Fern.� Alexei�s voice says on the speakers.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian watches Luna�s grip on Tewyn, shaking his head. �This does not help the current situation, Avatar.�
Tewyn pushes back on the sai slightly letting it barely cut into my back, grabbing Luna_Faline�s claws and spinning behind her and placing them to her neck, �Don�t tease me, kitty�unless you can please me.�
Fern runs over to the com, �What has been happening, Alexei?�
Fern: �I have been involved. What is going on?�
Tewyn wiggles Luna_Faline wrist, �Hmm, shall we see if I can make these claws shoot out?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, there�s a fire-fight going on out here and the others are trying to get that orb to Gabe on the station,� Alexei replies as the com is cut-out with static as another shake rocks Ettik.
Clarissa sees the floating flaming bolts dancing around her and watches them, trying to time an escape from them�
Vin_Da_DM: The elevator slows to a stop and the doors open, Zach piles out and walks straight ahead to a glass-panel over looking an circular room.
Luna_Faline: �Go ahead, fucker,� as I stomp the arch of his foot with my stiletto heel, I bring an elbow back hard to his ribs.
Vin_Da_DM: As the man continues to attack, one of the flames from around Clarissa flies over and ignites his sword, Stryder curses in response.
Fern: �Shit,� Fern mutters, racing out of the plant bay and heading towards where Alexei is. Muttering all the way, �Fuck, shit, Goddess. I just get so involved. What have I said about that? Fuck.�
Luna_Faline: Spinning my arm up and over, I step forward and lean down throwing to the floor in front of me.
Tabris exits the elevator and looks back at Luna and Tewyn, �Now is not the best time to try and kill each other!�
Tewyn licks the blood from his lip never letting Luna_Faline go. �Mmmmm, RD taught you well.�
Luna_Faline looks down at him, �You have no idea,� pulling my wrist free.
Tewyn sweeps Luna_Faline legs while on my back and mounts her, �You can stop now�or I can kill you like RD should of�your choice��
^Shinta pulls Tewyn and Luna_Faline apart, �You can both stop now, or I can make sure neither of you ever do anything again� How�s that?�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei is busy inputting commands on the holo-controls as the viewport shows the space battle ahead. Ettik�s main cannons fire, tearing a whole into medium sized cruiser. �Fern...what are you doing up here?�
Luna_Faline: �You think you can kill me? She couldn�t�you think your better than her?� I hiss at Tewyn.
Clarice lays on the floor in the room with the two sets of twins, her eyes flutter open long enough to see the flames. Concentrating Clarice tries to create a mini blizzard in the room.
Fern: �I don�t knowwwwwwwww,� wails Fern.
Tewyn: �RD just wanted to play with you, kitty. She needed a play toy, but you broke so easy she got bored.�
Fern: �I don�t know what I am meant to do. I am not a Warrior. I was in my tree. I can�t understand any of this. What do I do?� I babble in distress.
Vin_Da_DM: Noticing her flames falter, the woman turns and kicks Clarice in the head, �Insolence!� Turning her attention back to Clarissa she waves a hand, causing all of the flames to fly at Clarissa.
^Shinta sends a surge into Luna_Faline and Tewyn causing pain in their souls, �I SAID ENOUGH!!!�
Tewyn gasps, �Damn, I hate when you do that!� coughing.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei nods, �Well you can stay here and help me keep Ettik in one piece, or help the others,� glancing over his shoulder at her momentarily he turns his attention back to the screen as Ettik looses a missile barrage.
Clarissa ducks, drops and rolls neo style away from the flames and closer to Clarice.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian eyes Tewyn and Luna, �I trust you will stop this nonsense now?�
Clarice screams out as she feels the searing pain from the kick to the head then blacks out.
Vin_Da_DM: Zach shakes his head at the others, �Come on, this way.�
Fern: �What can I do? I think I should stay here. I am not much of a fighter, but I like Ettik and seemed to help him last time.�
^Shinta: �Now, shall we continue...or should I rip your soul a little farther away with the next one?�
Clarissa feels a bit confused.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei nods and continues to concentrate on the controls of the ship. Midnight nudges against Fern�s leg and looks at her.
Luna_Faline pushes Shinta away. �I didn�t give in to the bitch like your traitorous soul did,� picking up my sai on the way out the door.
Tewyn grumbles, �Damn, okay. Just spoil all my fun,� sticking his tongue out at Luna_Faline. �Was the smelliest pussy I�ve ever run into anyway.�
Fern kneels in front of Midnight and whines at him, then gets up and moves over towards Alexei, looking at the control panel, wondering if she can help to boost the missiles in some way.
Vin_Da_DM: Zach opens up a side door and heads down the hallway at a jog.
Tabris looks at the others then to Claron, �Coming?�
^Shinta shakes his head, �Always so quick to judge and mistrust aren�t you, Luna_Faline? Shall never learn it seems.�
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight nudges Fern again trying to get her attention. Barking he pads out of the bridge quickly.
Luna_Faline follows Zach down the hall ignoring Shinta�s comment.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian exits the elevator and waits for the others to go on ahead.
Tewyn follows the others. �Now, where the hell we going?�It better be to a fight!�
Fern looks at Midnight as he leaves the room. Fern says to Alexei, �I think he wants me to follow him.� Runs to the door yelling as she leaves, �Keep me informed via the coms.�
Claron looks back at Tabris, �Of course.� Heads out of the elevator quickly and moves closer to Tabris.
Fern races down the corridor calling out, �Midnight! Wait�I am coming!�
Vin_Da_DM: Turning another corner Zach pauses and tests the door ahead, �Stuck�� Raising his hands he throws several lightning balls at the door, blowing open a hole large enough to get through.
Fern flickers into hawk form and flies after the racing black dog ahead of her down the corridor.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight ducks into an open room and pauses in the center a large metal circular plate on the floor. Looking at a nearby holo-console he barks.
Luna_Faline wraps a paw around my amulet and prays to my Mistress for a return of calm peace as I stand behind Zach�
Tabris heads off down the corridor after Luna and Zach with Claron behind him.
Fern flies into the room and then flicks back into human form.
Vin_Da_DM: The woman steps away from Clarice and Clarissa and chuckles wickedly, �How touching...perhaps I�ll kill your dear aunt slowly, Clarissa.� She points a flaming finger at Clarice.
Vin_Da_DM: Mid-shimmer the man kicks Stryder against the wall with a large thud, sliding down Stryder cringes.
Fern: �What is it?� looking at the holo-console in confusion.
Vin_Da_DM: The holo-console has several controls related to transportation. Midnight barks again as the screen blinks at Fern.
Clarissa eyes widen as she sees the flaming finger pointed at Aunt Clarice. Springing up from Clarice�s side, somersaults and does a back flip, kicking the flaming girl in the chest before landing on her feet near the wall behind the flaming girl.
Vin_Da_DM: Zach climbs through his freshly-made hole and looks around at the empty bar. �Seems okay��
Luna_Faline follows Zach thru the hole and looks around the bar then over to the door where his dad�s office was last time.
Fern: �Um,� I mutter, �Ah, what the hell am I meant to do, Alexei?� I yell.
Fern: �I don�t understand this stuff. Fuck it all, Midnight. I don�t know what to do,� I groan.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight tilts his head and barks again at the console, looking at Fern his ears perk.
Vin_Da_DM: Fern gets no reply from Alexei over the com, but the control screen continues to flash in front of her.
Clarissa sees Stryder slide down the wall, �NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!� she screams as she quickly returns a kick on the male figure.
Vin_Da_DM: The bar is empty, tables and chairs in disarray. The office door is open and inside is one of Gabe�s bodyguard�s corpse.
Fern: Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck,� I mutter as I move to the console, �Press the fucking button, Fern.� I mutter as I press the buttons randomly.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder gets to his feet slowly watching Clarissa attack the man.
Luna_Faline moves to the office door and looks inside. �Where the hell is he?�
Vin_Da_DM: Grabbing Clarissa�s foot the man tosses Clarissa aside and trains his sword back to Stryder.
Fern jumping onto the metal plate next to Midnight, �Hope that works.�
Vin_Da_DM: The woman picks Clarissa up from the floor and smiles at her sweetly, �That wasn�t very nice,� she says before punching Clarissa in the chest.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight and Fern disappear in a flash of yellow light and find themselves in a large empty hallway that curves in either direction forming a circle. Wrecked stands and tents line the hallway along with several bodies.
Tabris ducks through the opening and offers Claron a hand to get through.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m not sure...he might be dealing with the intruders,� Zach says as he rummages through Gabe�s office.
Clarissa uses the toss and punch to her advantage by doing a twisting flip, then cartwheels herself back towards the male figure, scissoring his head between her legs, she flips him.
Fern looks up and down the hallway, bends down to Midnight, �Which way? You brought me here, ya fucking mutt.�
Vin_Da_DM Luna hears faint noises in the bar.
Claron takes Tabris� hand and goes thru the opening.
Luna_Faline ears twitch. I look back into the bar area seeing Tabris and Claron climbing thru the door.
Vin_Da_DM: Midway through the flip the man grabs Clarissa�s legs and counter-flips her, tossing her against the floor.
Fern straightens up. I send out my essence into the surrounding area trying to find the others.
Vin_Da_DM: Several dozen of the black armored figured de-cloak inside the bar. They all draw their weapons at the same time.
Vin_Da_DM: Fern�s essence is repelled by something strong. Midnight barks and heads off down the hallway in front of them.
Luna_Faline: �Oh�shit, we got company,� I hiss to Zach as I see the men.
Clarissa lands hard on the floor, a loud crack is heard as her head connects with the floor. Clarissa tries to pull herself back up to her feet.
^Shinta looks to Guardian, �You know, maybe we should just let these two fight with all of them�Work out that tension they have.�
Fern shakes her head in pain then watches Midnight for a second before flicking into hawk form and flying after him.
Vin_Da_DM: Zach looks up and cusses, �Damn it...where is it!� He continues to look around the office, �Try to keep them occupied while I look for this key!�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder dashes over to the man and tackles him to the floor, �Bastard!�
Vin_Da_DM: The woman kneels down next to Clarissa and waves her hand still wreathed in flames in front of her, �Ooh, that sounded like it hurt.�
Luna_Faline holds my paws out in a fake act of innocence, glancing at Tabris� briefly.
Tabris eyes the robots and places himself between them and Claron, �Not the welcoming committee I was expecting.�
Tewyn giggles, �Woohooo, tin-tins!!!�
Clarissa slumps back to floor panting, unable to answer the flaming girl back.
Vin_Da_DM: The robots split up and begin to attack the closest target, about a dozen move to surround Luna as they swing at her.
Tewyn: �Kitty on a stick!! I�ll take the leftovers.�
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight cuts a sharp corner into a side-hallway, the faint sound of fighting reaching Fern.
^Shinta glares at Tewyn, �You will help, or not leave this place.�
Claron concentrates trying to change the gravity of the robot swinging at Luna so it will fall onto its back.
Tabris quickly creates two swords as the robots attack at him and Claron.
Fern wings after Midnight.
Tewyn: �Yea, yea, soul collector.�
Vin_Da_DM: Claron�s powers manage to hit a different robot as it steps into her line of sight, causing it to stumble forward nearly landing on her.
Luna_Faline extends my claws and jumps up over the robots, digging my claws into the ceiling. I kick several in the head as I swing my feet up to the ceiling.
Vin_Da_DM: The remaining robots near the far wall hold their rifles steady while taking aim for clear shots.
Claron moves backwards away from the falling robot.
Claron tries shifting the gravity of the bullets causing them to drop to ground instead of sailing thru the air.
Vin_Da_DM: A few of the bots fall back from Luna�s kicks, but several more begin to climb up the walls and onto the ceiling to get her.
Luna_Faline jumps down off the ceiling landing on the back of one robot. I use him for a shield as I wrench his sword away from him.
Tewyn goes and stands by one of the robots, �You mind if I borrow that sword of yours? I really don�t like guns.�
Vin_Da_DM: The gravity shift fails to affect the lasers that burn holes into the wall near Claron�s head.
Vin_Da_DM: A few of the robots turn to Tewyn and eye him for a second before they begin taking swings.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight and Fern reach a large set of double doors with the sounds of fighting loudly echoing from behind them.
Luna_Faline uses the sword to fend off the other robots coming after me. Swing it with all my pent up anger, I aim to take heads off bodies.
Clarissa finds it hard to breathe, feeling pain with each breath she takes.
Tewyn dodges, �Now, now. Not all at once�I�ll dance with all of you,� grabbing a robot and waltzing it around the room. �Now, I really do need this sword of yours.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Speechless...how enjoyable,� the woman says as the man shrugs Stryder off and into the wall again as he speaks, �Come Cara, let us return her to Mother.�
Fern: Landing I flick back into human form, then kneel and place one hand on Midnight�s back, �Shhhhh, muttly, let�s see what is happening first.�
Claron ducks down as the lasers misses her head by a mere fraction of an inch.
Tabris manages to deflect a majority of the blades, but catches a slice in the leg and shoulders, growling her stumbles back toward Claron.
Tewyn starts spinning the bot, it�s sword swinging freely.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna manages to decapitate a few robots, sending them crashing to the floor. The ones with guns begin to all aim at Luna.
Tewyn: �And one, two, three�one, two, three.�
Vin_Da_DM: The bot tries to break free of Tewyn, clearly not enjoying his �dancing�.
Fern: Standing up and putting one hand onto the doors, I push gently to see what will happen. The doors refuse to move.
Fern: �Fuck,� I mutter then look for the controls to open it.
Clarissa hears the other set of twins, ~Stryder!~
Vin_Da_DM: A console is set into the wall near Fern.
Tewyn: �You are such a bad dancer,� trying to rip the head off the bot.
Vin_Da_DM: The robot drops it�s sword as Tewyn rips it�s head off, sparks flying from it�s wires.
Fern looks at the console. Chewing my lip, I wonder if I should open the door since the fighting sounds loud and scary.
Claron reaches out to help the stumbling Tabris.
Luna_Faline throws my sword at the closest one with a gun and points my paws at the others shooting claws at them repeatedly.
Tewyn picks up the sword. �Weee, now I have a play toy.�
Vin_Da_DM: The sword impales the robot, sending it back but the others dodge a majority of the claws.
Fern comes to a decision. I push the console then flick quickly into dog form and sit next to Midnight.
Tewyn: �Go, kitty, go!�
Fern: Looking at Midnight I grin toothily.
Luna_Faline draws my sai and throws it at the robot in the middle of them all, burying it deep in his chest. I then dive back behind the wall into the office.
^Shinta watches the fighting. �You two have your frustrations out, yet?�
Vin_Da_DM: The door retracts into the walls and ahead of Fern is what appears to be a large common area littered with sparking robots, guards and civilians. In the center an alien in armor is fighting off a group of robots in hand to hand.
Vin_Da_DM: The sai hums loudly before sending a white-lightning pulse across all the robots in the room, literally disintegrating them one by one.
Claron helps Tabris to run for cover...
Fern: Whining at Midnight I pad into the open area quietly trying to figure out if the alien is a friend or foe.
Vin_Da_DM: Noticing the pulse heading for Claron and Tabris, the Guardian jumps in front of them extending a hand he absorbs the pulse with a large *crack*.
Vin_Da_DM: Cara looks at Clarissa as the flames on her hands dissipates. �Mother will be so glad to see you.� Standing up Cara nods to the man, �You may kill the others, Kabal.�
Vin_Da_DM: Kabal picks his sword up from the floor and looks at Clarice and Stryder, �Who shall I dispose of first. How about the brother...so Clarissa can watch.�
Clarissa: �You didn�t have to make sure you hurt me for real�� gasps out while trying to hold her ribs.
Luna_Faline peeks out the office door, �Oh, Goddess. Did I do that?�
Vin_Da_DM: As the alien downs the last robot with a roundhouse, he looks over at Fern and Midnight, �What are you two doing here?�
Fern: �Woof,� I answer laughing out loud and letting my tongue out.
Clarissa gasps, �Why not bring them back with us?�So I can have a little fun with them, myself..�
Vin_Da_DM: The Guardian dusts of his hands and looks to Luna, �I would advise caution next time, Avatar. It could have been deadly for the others.�
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight pads over to the man and looks at him sniffing.
Fern slinks after Midnight unhappy with the situation.
Vin_Da_DM: Cara gets Clarissa to her feet, �Mother�s trust in you is thin. Killing them will prevent your insolence, Clarissa.�
Luna_Faline raises one brow, �I�m sure it could have,� as I step into the room and retrieve my sai. I look at Tewyn for a brief moment as I slip it into my boot. Then go back to the office.
Fern: Tucking my tail between my legs and raising my hackles. I also sniff at the man, trying to work out what is happening.
Luna_Faline: �Zach, have you found it yet?� I ask.
Clarissa face pales, �Would you want to watch someone kill a part of you?�
Vin_Da_DM: The alien crouches and pets both Fern and Midnight. Looking at them with glowing eyes he nods, �I don�t suppose you�ve seen a friend of mine. She�s around here somewhere.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Yes,� Zach exits with a small keycard and steps out of the office, �Well...I didn�t expect you to vaporize them!�
Luna_Faline whispers, �I didn�t either,� as I look at the mess in the bar.
Vin_Da_DM: Narrowing his gaze the alien looks at Fern, �You seem familiar...shapeshifter, right?�
Clarissa looks over at Kabal, then back at Cara, �Momma Shaiya promised no harm would come to Stryder!�
Tabris looks at Claron, �Agh...you all right?�
Fern slides back from the alien saying nothing but putting some space between them.
Tewyn: �So, can we go now?...It�s boring here now.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Did she?� Kabal points his sword at Clarice, �Then we shall spare him...the woman dies though.�
Claron shakes her head, �Will be better�once we find our children...I have a bad feeling, Tabris.�
Luna_Faline: �Where does that key lead us?� I ask Zach.
Claron rips off another piece of her tunic and ties it around Tabris� bleeding wound.
Fern whines at Midnight trying to read his reaction to the alien.
Vin_Da_DM: Zach crosses the bar and exits into the circular hallway outside. Looking over his shoulder at Luna he replies, �Into the area where the enemy will be leaving from.�
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight perks his head at Fern, then nudges the alien�s hand.
^Shinta: �We should find the others, don�t you think?�
Fern: Holding my breath in hope, I flick into human form.
Clarissa tries not to show how she really feels, but in her mind speaks Tewyn�s name and tries to impart images of the room they are in.
Luna_Faline moves over to Tabris and Claron, I place a paw over the wound on Tabris� shoulder instantly healing all his wounds. �Let�s get moving.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Thought so. It�s been a while, kid.� The alien blinks at Fern, glowing eyes shining blue upon closer inspection.
Fern looks confused, �Who are you?� I ask. �You know me?�
Vin_Da_DM: Kabal rolls Clarice over with his foot as he looks at her. �Hmm��
Clarissa: �What�s matter, Kabal? You realize she�s your father�s lover?�
Vin_Da_DM: �A little confused, I can understand. Not exactly the way I looked when I left,� the alien paces a few steps then turns, �But you take what you can get in dire circumstances.�
Vin_Da_DM: Cara grins as she joins Kabal at his side, �Perhaps we should leave her here for father. He will want his doll to play with.�
Tabris stretches after being healed, �All right, always on the move.�
Fern: �Just who are you? I really don�t know that many people.� I furrow my brow in concentration trying to read who it is.
Luna_Faline turns to follow Zach, �Where is that room at?�
Vin_Da_DM: Zach heads along the ruined marketplace, taking the same turn that Fern and Midnight did earlier.
Fern: �Have you ever been a shadow cat?� I ask
Vin_Da_DM: �Eclipse, Fern. Remember me now?� Eclipse nods then shifts his gaze towards the open doorway, �Hmm...someone�s coming.�
Clarissa: �That�s right, leave her to him��
Fern: �Oh,� I gasp, �It�s you!�
Luna_Faline thinks about the sai in my boot as I follow Zach.
Fern looks over her shoulder at the open doorway and flicks into dog form again.
Vin_Da_DM: �Very well,� Cara moves over to the unconscious Stryder, �Mother is waiting. Shall we go, dear Brother?�
Vin_Da_DM: Zach enters the large atrium and notices Midnight, the other dog and the alien.
Clarissa tightens her arms around her ribs, �Yes, I am anxious to see Mother Shaiya. There is much I need to tell her.�
Luna_Faline steps into the room and stops staring at the dogs at the strange being with them.
Tewyn follows behind the others.
Fern seeing who it is, I flick into human form again.
Vin_Da_DM: Kabal nods, �Then we shall leave,� Kabal places his hand on Clarissa and they teleport out of the room. Cara teleports with Stryder a few seconds later.
Luna_Faline watches Fern and looks back at the alien.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at Luna, familiar glowing blue eyes meeting her gaze. He smiles, �It is good to see you again, Luna.�
Vin_Da_DM: Walking across the atrium Zach notices the robot bodies scattered about, �Good job�� he gives a nod to Eclipse before heading to a hatch on the far side.
Luna_Faline stares at the stranger for a moment meeting those eyes. I move forward slowly, �I'm glad to see you, too.�
Vin_Da_DM: Outside the large glass-force shield of the atrium the space battle continues.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not how I left you,� Eclipse smiles at Luna, �But as I told Fern, I took what I could find.�
Luna_Faline places a paw on Eclipse�s arm for a moment, wanting to be sure he�s really there. �I can see that,� I whisper.
Tabris follows after the others, stepping over robot bodies, �So, Luna...who�s this guy?�
Fern: �It�s Eclipse,� I say.
Luna_Faline: �Eclipse is back just in time.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I see the others are well as well,� Eclipse watches the space battle for a second, then looks back at Luna.
^Shinta steps in behind the others.
Claron walks beside Tabris looking at the guy, then whispers softly, �Eclipse?��
Vin_Da_DM: The Guardian follows Shinta, quietly watching everyone as he makes his way over towards Zach at the hatch.
Luna_Faline: �No, not all are well. We need to find the twins and Clarice took a horrible fall earlier.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Oh. I noticed some were missing�� Looking at the others Eclipse studies them, �Then we should go.�
Claron�s face pales, �We have to find them,� while silently praying that they don�t find Clarice splattered down on the ground floor.
Vin_Da_DM: Zach fiddles with the keycard at the hatch, finally getting it open, �We�re in! Hurry, guys.�
Luna_Faline nods. �Not to mention the fact that we are looking for his father as well,� as I turn to follow Zach.
Fern looks at Luna, I point at Zach, �Who is he?�
Luna_Faline: �That is Zach, he had a weapon that RD wanted back.�
Luna_Faline shivers saying the hated name.
Vin_Da_DM: �Gabe? I was with him a while ago, but we got separated in a fire-fight on the lower level.� Eclipse follows after Luna.
Claron glances back at Tewyn�.
Vin_Da_DM: Zach heads into the hatch with the Guardian following him.
Tewyn looks at Claron.
Vin_Da_DM: In the dimly-lit chamber Clarice feels a warmth as she slips back into consciousness.
Clarice eyes flutter open as she feels a warmth cascade thru her body then glances around the room.
Luna_Faline moves to walk next to Eclipse, �Much has happened since you left.�
Vin_Da_DM: Clarice feels a faint presence in the room that fades quickly.
Claron wonders if Tewyn is regretting his earlier actions and why he seems so quiet now.
Tewyn: �Got something to say to me?�
Vin_Da_DM: �I can say the same, but I presume both are long stories for time we don�t have right now.� Eclipse silently holds Luna�s hand softly.
Fern shrugs and flicks back into dog form.
Clarice startles briefly, looking quickly around the room again, �I could have swore someone was in here.�
Luna_Faline nods and holds Eclipse�s hand tightly, like it will keep him from leaving again.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight looks at Fern before padding off after Luna and the others.
Claron shakes her head realizing she should have known better, �Plenty�� sliding her arm around Tabris� waist.
Fern raising my tail like a furry flag I follow the rest, claws clicking on the ground.
Vin_Da_DM: The room is dark and empty, lit by a dull lighting embankment on the ceiling. A doorway on the wall is sealed shut.
Clarice tries to stand making her way over towards the door.
Vin_Da_DM: Reaching the end of the corridor Zach opens the next door with the keycard and steps into the small launch bay. A few black-armored robots guarding a drop-ship turn to look towards you
Claron watches Zach.
Claron feels an overwhelming emptiness engulfing her.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian grips his spear, �I�ll handle them.� Jumping forward he lands in between two of the robots and does a quick spinning attack, cutting them in half. Then eyeing the third.
Fern: Sitting I wait to see what is going to happen.
Luna_Faline looks around the launch bay, �They�re not here.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Not here yet, means we got here before them.� Zach replies as he takes a position behind some crates watching the double-door entrance into the bay.
Fern flickers into human form, �Do you want me to go look?�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian impales the remaining robot. Turning he looks at the others, �Then we should set up a suitable ambush for them.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse stands next to Luna and watches her survey the room.
Clarice tries to open the door, her head throbbing intensely. Reaching a hand up, she feels the lump on the side of her head.
Vin_Da_DM: The door in front of Clarice is locked.
Luna_Faline looks at the ship then back at Eclipse, �Someone should take care of that, don�t you think?�
Fern: Furrowing my brows I tilt my head to the side, �I can sense something familiar.�
Vin_Da_DM: �We may be able to use it,� Eclipse moves over to it and studies it.
Clarice turns her back to the door, bending her knees she slides down against it holding her head in her hands, �How am I going to explain to Claron and Tab that I couldn�t help the children?�
Vin_Da_DM: �That�s for you to figure out, now get back from the door.� Clarice hears the muffled voice from the other side of the door.
Clarice quickly scoots away from the door.
Tabris leans against the crates near Zach, �You sure you healed me, Luna? My leg still stings.�
Luna_Faline looks up into the ship for a moment, then steps on the ramp and walks up it.
Clarice stands back away from the door wondering who just spoke to her.
Claron looks down at Tabris� leg.
Fern: I sigh, sit back down and try to keep out of the way, waiting to see what will happen.
Vin_Da_DM: The inside of the ship is fairly simple. A large area with slab-seating for troops leading up the cockpit, then another set of doors leading to the engines.
Luna_Faline pauses at the entrance and looks over my shoulder at Tabris, �I�m sure.�
Luna_Faline enters the ship and moves quickly to the cockpit to make sure no one is hiding there.
Vin_Da_DM: The door shutters for a moment before peeling open. Gabe lowers his extending hand and looks inside, �Should I ask how you ended up here?�
Vin_Da_DM: Inside the cockpit the two seats are empty, controls blinking idly, though most of the control seems automatic.
Clarice: �GABE!!!!!!!� running over towards him and hugging him, �Don�t ask, not sure if I know the answer to that question myself.�
Luna_Faline sniffs the air for a moment, satisfied no one is there. I move to the engine room and check there.
Vin_Da_DM: �Looks like quite a lot of people could fit in here,� Eclipse adds in as he enters the ship and watches Luna.
Clarice: �The twins? Please, tell me you have the twins!�
Luna_Faline returns from the empty engine room, �I think we can use this.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Twins? Haven�t seen any twins, but if the others are going where I think, we�re close.� Gabe adds as he turns and leads Clarice out into the hallway. �Careful where you step...these tin-cans didn�t go without a fight.�
Clarice nods her head and carefully follows Gabe, each step she takes her head throbs.
Vin_Da_DM: Gabe leads Clarice down a hallway that looks as if the bulkheads themselves came alive and attacked the now sparking robot bodies stuck all over the place.
Vin_Da_DM: �Sssh, something�s coming!� Zach speaks as the double doors to the bay groan and begin to open.
Clarice: �Looks like the Apocalypse. You sure there are others that made it?�
Luna_Faline ducks back from the door of the ship, waiting to see who is coming into the bay.
Vin_Da_DM: Gabe chuckles, �This mess is my doing. You guys are tough, so I�m sure they made it.�
Clarice hopes that the twins are among those that made it.
Vin_Da_DM: As the rest of the group hides in the bay, a group of a dozen robots enters, guarding a large looking one carrying the gray orb case.
Fern: Putting my hand on Midnight�s back I wait.
Vin_Da_DM: �Now!� Zach shouts as he jumps on top of the crates and fires off two lightning balls at the group.
Luna_Faline moves back to the door and shoots claws at the robots.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse hops down from the drop ship and grabs one of the robots, tearing it�s arms off.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian and Tabris begin their attack as well, as the dozen quickly becomes a handful.
Fern flickers into hawk form. I fly at the robots creating confusion for the others.
Vin_Da_DM: Turning a corner Gabe looks ahead, noticing the open bay doors. �Commotion up ahead, let�s go, Clarice.�
Claron concentrates on the gravity of the one that is guarding the large case, knocking him backward so she can manipulate the case towards her.
Vin_Da_DM: Claron�s gravity powers �bounce� off an invisible shield around the larger robot. Standing in place he looks around at the group attacking the other robots.
Clarice tries to keep up with Gabe.
Vin_Da_DM: After a few moments the large black robot is the last one standing.
Claron feels herself being knocked backwards and shifts her manipulation to keep herself from be knocked thru the wall.
Luna_Faline sees the shield flicker briefly around the big robot. I draw my sai and move to the ramp. Watching the big robot.
Vin_Da_DM: Zach tries his powers against the robot but they are reflected as well, causing the lightning to hit the walls.
Vin_Da_DM: Gabe enters the bay slowly. Noticing the group he nods to them as he approaches the robot from behind.
Fern flies at the big robot. I clash my talons against the hard shield before ready, faltering in my flight and landing on top of the shield.
Clarice slows her pace up as she watches Gabe approaching the black robot.
Vin_Da_DM: As Fern lands on the shield she feels it shock her.
Fern quickly launches into the air again, but before leaving I shit all over the shield.
Vin_Da_DM: Fern�s shit is vaporized by the shield as the robot glances around.
Fern: I scream in hawk voice my defiance.
Clarice watches Gabe and tries to coat the shield in ice in an effort to short circuit it.
Fern: Landing I flick into human form and pat my butt with my hands grimacing as I feel a slight tenderness.
Vin_Da_DM: As Clarice�s ice power is burnt away by the shield, Gabe rushes forward planting his palm against the shield. It sparks and short-circuits.
Claron watches the shield disappear and waits for the right moment to manipulate the case.
Luna_Faline moves down the ramp and stands just behind Eclipse.
Vin_Da_DM: The case flings from the robot�s hand toward Claron. Taking this chance Gabe grabs the robot�s arm and it begins to twist and splinter, eventually turning into a smoking pile of melted scrap.
Fern flickers into hawk form. I fly once more at the robot to help confuse it.
Claron grabs the case as it comes at her.
Luna_Faline looks around the room to see who made it this far.
Vin_Da_DM: �Nice timing, Dad,� Zach jumps down from the crate and walks over to Gabe. �Well...we�ve got the orb now.�
Fern flies over the smoking ruin that is left. I shit right in the center of it.
Clarice steps into view looking around to see where everyone is, her eyes searching out for the twins before stopping to rest on Tewyn.
Luna_Faline follows Clarice�s look to Tewyn, I wait to see what he will do now.
Tewyn looks at Clarice, �What is it with everyone staring at me today? See you survived the fall.�
Fern lands next to Midnight, flicking into human form and patting him on the head.
Vin_Da_DM: Gabe nods then eyes Claron and the case, �Claron. I�ll be needing that to keep it somewhere safe until the time is right.�
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight looks at Fern and barks as if in approval of her action.
Clarice: �Where�s Stryder and Clarissa?� shifting her gaze over to Claron and Tabris.
Claron hands Gabe the case.
Tabris looks at Clarice and shrugs, �I wish I knew...they disappeared.�
Vin_Da_DM: Gabe takes the case carefully and nods to Claron, �Good. If you need to get back to your ship I�m sure they won't mind you taking theirs.�
Clarice: �Oh, my god,� as the image of Tewyn�s twins flash before her eyes.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse watches Luna as she looks at Clarice and Tewyn, �I must have missed quite a bit.�
Clarice eyes dart back to Tewyn, �I saw them, they were battling YOUR children!�
Luna_Faline shakes my head at Tewyn but answers Eclipse, �You have no idea, how bad I want to hurt him right now,� I growl softly. Then I turn and reenter the ship taking a seat on a bench close to the cockpit.
Tewyn: �My children, huh?...Damn, and I missed seeing them in action. Hope they kicked ass.�
Fern follows Luna into the ship with Midnight padding beside her.
Claron looks at Tabris then starts to lunge towards Tewyn, �You BASTARD!�
Tabris grabs Claron before she can lunge and pulls her back.
Tewyn smiles, �Nah, I had a Dad once...till your kind killed him.�
Luna_Faline sits holding the sai, staring at it. �Oh, what kind of damage would you do to flesh and bone? I saw what you did to robots,� I wonder softly.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian moves into the ship and walks up to the cockpit, ducking slightly to avoid hitting the ceiling.
Fern looks at Luna in shock. I quickly look away and pat Midnight again.
Claron snaps back, �Just wait till you own seed is snuffed out!�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at Luna�s sai then touches her hand softly, �Something about your weapon troubles you?�
Tewyn eyes narrow, �Just remember dear, dear Claron, they were created out of hate of not only humans, but the hate your own daughter has for you�Better keep an eye on that one.�
Claron: �If that be true, then just think of the hate they will have for you.�
Tewyn: �Oh, that�s right, you have hard time doing that part of the parenting.�
Fern bends over Midnight. I whisper in his ear, �It�s a little tense with these people, I would rather be with my tree right now.�
Luna_Faline: �It�s not the weapon that troubles me. I saw it�s power today. It�s the hate and anger I have for Tewyn that troubles me.� I sigh, �I want to drive this dagger into what is left of his heart,� slipping the sai back into my boot before I can use it.
Claron struggles in Tabris� hold, �Let me at him��
Tewyn walks over to Claron, �Your family survived by their choice I am sure, be thankful they showed mercy, something their mother didn�t teach.�
Vin_Da_DM: Zach looks at the others then chats with Gabe before the two quietly leave the bay.
Claron: �And why is that?� Because your whore took them!�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian returns to the ramp and looks at Claron, Tewyn and Tabris. �If we�re going after them we should leave this place.�
Tewyn points to Clarice, �Your sister survived, she can tell you more, but if they wanted your children dead, my whore�as you say, couldn�t stop them.�
Claron looks at the Guardian, �Yes, yes� you are right��
Luna_Faline leans against Eclipse a little. I prayed to my Mistress for so many things. But most of all, I prayed that she would keep you safe and send you back to me.�
Tewyn: �Stupid humans never see past emotions anyway�� walking past and into the ship.
Clarice moves closer to Claron, �Come on, Sis,� glancing over at Tewyn, �This is going to get you nowhere.� Leads Claron towards a seat.
^Shinta watches the bickering nodding his head, �Yes, Kyo, seems like old times, huh?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, your prayers worked...and I hope you never need to say them for me again,� Eclipse wraps his arm over Luna�s shoulder.
Tabris sits down next to Claron, watching Clarice and her.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian returns to the cockpit and begins to start the ship. The engines crackle to life as the ramps close up.
Clarice: �It�s my fault. I couldn�t stop them��
Luna_Faline entwines my fingers in his and brings his hand up to my nose, I inhale deeply, drawing in his new scent.
^Shinta walks into the ship speaking as walking by, �Before judging you should all find out the whole story...Claron, after all�how did you feel after having your children ripped away?� while finding an empty place in the ship to sit.
Claron: �How did I feel?!? Just like I am feeling right now��
^Shinta looks back before disappearing around the corner, �Now, think bout that for a bit.�
Clarice glances over at Tewyn, her head reeling from the kick, and emotionally drained from the confusion she is feeling brought about from having seen Tewyn�s children.
Vin_Da_DM: As the Warriors return to the Ettik aboard the stolen drop-ship the space battle begins to die down. The remains of RD�s fleet retreats into hyperspace while the remains of Gabe�s fleet finishes off the stragglers.
Vin_Da_DM: Meanwhile in a strange and distant place, Clarissa finds herself alone on grassy hill, a dark and cloudy sky casts an eerie light on a battlefield filled with dead bodies.
Vin_Da_DM: A man with silver hair in a black robe walks up next to Clarissa, �A vision of what is to come, Child. You must face the dark moon and its spawn. But then sun has yet to set. A choice may turn the tide or cause it to wash away the world��
