Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: Continuing on their way to Gabe�s space station, all seemed quiet onboard the Ettik until Midnight and Vincent came across strange noises in the cargo bay.
Vin_Da_DM: The noises turned out to be a black spider that had somehow gotten onto Zach�s ship and as Vincent squished it, it�s blood created more spiders. These spiders then began to spread across the ship, willingly getting killed to make more.
Vin_Da_DM: Eventually they began to multiply en-masse in an empty cargo bay. Deciding to use her enchanted sai against the spiders, Luna left it in the cargo bay only to have it thrown into Vincent�s shoulder by Recluse, who had managed to get onboard using the spiders.
Vin_Da_DM: The fight then broke out, eventually getting Clarissa and Stryder involved which caused some conflict between the twins and the Knight. The battle ended when Zach decided to use the Orb of Ruin against Recluse.
Vin_Da_DM: The blast-wave from the orb blew out the side of Ettik�s cargo bay, sending it and Recluse into hyperspace. With the first attempt by the enemy to retrieve the Orb past them Zach hoped they would reach safety soon�
Vin_Da_DM: *Timeframe: One hour later*
Vin_Da_DM : Alexei�s voice comes over the com, �We�re getting closer to the hyperspace gate near Gabe�s station.�
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
Vin_Da_DM: �I�ll be glad to get rid of this thing, it�s more trouble than it�s worth for me,� Zach says as he lays the orb case down next to his seat on the bridge.
Tewyn tosses and mumbles incoherently in his sleep.
Claron smiles at Tabris, �Damn! I suppose this means play time is over,� wrapping the sheet from their bed around her as she sits up.
^Shinta looks over to Kat|e shaking her gently, �Hey kid, its time to wake up.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Hey...you okay?� Stryder waves his hand at Clarissa as he watches her sit on the bed.
Tabris: �Oh, I�m sure they�ll be time later to continue,� Tabris smiles as he grabs his pants from the floor nearby.
Clarissa looks over at Stryder, �Yup,� rubbing the back of her head, �Feel fine...ain�t we supposed to go eat with Mom and Dad?� Clarissa heads off towards her parents� quarters.
Kat|e�s eyes flicker beneath her lids, but she remains unconscious.
^Shinta leans in closer and whispers in Kat|e�s ear, �Hey, you can�t dream forever, we need you out here.�
Clarice moves closer to Tewyn and runs her fingers through his hair, �Wish I knew what you are seeing, my dark elf.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Probably, let�s get going,� Stryder offers Clarissa his hand with a small smile.
Tewyn jumps up at Clarice�s touch, �I�m gonna�� looking over at Clarice.
Tabris: �Shirt...where did I put that thing�� Tabris scans the room while walking around, �So...what are we going to do now?�
Clarissa smiles as she takes Stryder�s hand, �Wish we could have taken Recluse out.�
Kat|e makes a small sound deep in her throat, her chest rising and falling more unevenly as she ascends from her deep slumber.
Clarice continues to stroke Tewyn�s hair, �You were going to what? Come back to me... �
Tewyn gives Clarice a strange look, �I�m...It�s nothing��
Luna_Faline continues to stare at the rose on the altar. �What good is a gift if I don�t know how to use it?� with a grumble.
Vin_Da_DM: �He�ll be back...the bad guys always find a way to get back,� Stryder adds as they head down the hallway.
Claron slides into her clothes then chuckles as she points over by the bathroom door, �Over there on the floor, where I helped you out of it.�
Tabris: �Ahh, that�s right,� Tabris grabs for the shirt and grins wide at Claron, �Good thing we don�t misplace our kids this easily.�
Clarice leans down and kisses Tewyn�s cheek. �No, I know its more than nothing.�
Kat|e�s eyes slide open slowly. She swallows, and sighs. �I did it again, didn�t I?� Her voice is hoarse.
Tewyn: �How long was I out?�
Vin_Da_DM: The rose continues to bloom with it�s vibrant colors, for a quick moment Luna notices its colors change then change back.
^Shinta leans back from Kat|e, �Yes, you did...were out quite a while.�
Kat|e shakes her head slightly. �What prompted it THIS time?� She struggles to sit up.
^Shinta shrugs, �We do not know, you came to rest and never woke.�
Claron: �Thank goodness...losing them once was enough for me,� walking over towards Tabris and kissing him softly, �So, shall we go try and find our children?�
Luna_Faline sits up and rubs my eyes looking at the rose again.
Tewyn rolls out of bed, �So where is everyone?�
Kat|e gives a crooked grin, �Oh. So, like Sleeping Beauty, I slept like the dead. Hmm�and no kiss from a Prince to wake me.� She stands, wobbling, her legs too shaky to hold her. She nearly falls.
Tabris: �Yes. Let�s,� Tabris kisses Claron back before making his way toward the door.
^Shinta quickly moves and catches Kat|e, looking into her eyes, �Well, we aren�t transporting any princes at the moment.�
Vin_Da_DM: Luna hears a soft knock on the door to her quarters.
Kat|e stares up at Shinta, her eyes shining.
Clarice: �Don�t know to both of your questions, haven�t seen Claron and Tab, or the twins since we managed to get rid of Recluse.�
Tewyn eyes narrow, �Why was he here?�
Luna_Faline turns toward the door, smoothing my mane. �Enter?� I purrumble.
Kat|e: �Well�my loss, I suppose.� She holds herself upright, stepping out of his grasp when she�s steady.
^Shinta: �You okay there? Maybe you should just sit for a bit.�
Vin_Da_DM: Pausing in front of the galley lift Stryder looks around, �Should we go down or wait for them here?�
Clarice: �Come to think of it, I haven�t seen Claron or Tabris for hours��
Kat|e: �I�m fine. Though I confess to being more than a little hungry.�
Vin_Da_DM: The door slides open and Alexei leans against the doorframe, �You all right? Ettik is wondering why your in here all the time.�
^Shinta: �Well, lets get you to the galley for some nourishment.�
Clarice: �He came for what Zach, Gabe�s son, took from RD�s ship, some orb��
Tewyn: �Hmmmm...I see.� Stands heading for the door.
Kat|e walks stiffly out of the room, headed for the galley.
Luna_Faline sighs, �I�m fine,� trying to hide the disappointment I bend and pull on my boots.
^Shinta follows behind Kat|e.
Clarice: �There is more�some news about another set of twins...Clarissa seemed to think you would be very happy to hear about them.�
Vin_Da_DM: �If you say so,� Alexei looks over her room pausing his gaze on the altar for a second, �We should be there soon, I�ll leave you to your preparations.�
Tewyn stops. �Why would I be happy about children...they are a bother...she is probably playing with you again.�
Clarice watches Tewyn, then steps up close to him, sliding her hand in his.
Luna_Faline follows his gaze to the altar. I reach for the sai and slip it into my boot.
Kat|e: �So,� she says, her voice a tad too bright and forced, �What did I miss?�
^Shinta: �I do not know...I�ve been keeping watch over you...no one has been keeping me informed.�
Vin_Da_DM: Leaning against the wall by the galley lift Stryder looks at Clarissa, �Guess we�ll wait here then��
Kat|e stops and turns to Shinta, gaping, �But�why? You must have better things to do than baby-sit an invalid.�
Clarissa nods her head, �Maybe we should wait for them here.�
Tewyn: �I think I need some food.�
^Shinta lowers his head, �It is what I do.�
Tabris taps his foot as he waits for Claron, �Where�s the fire, Babe? No need to be so quick about it��
Vin_Da_DM: Giving Luna a nod Alexei disappears down the hallway.
Kat|e stares at him a minute, then shakes her head and continues walking, �You need a hobby, Shaman,� she murmurs low.
Clarice: �Possibly, but somehow I got the feeling she knew more than she was letting on. And you know, the strange thing is...it appeared that Claron and Tab made some headway with her briefly.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Mornin� you two,� Stryder adds as he notices Katie and Shinta approach.
^Shinta looks at Kat|e walking away starts to say something but drops its and walks behind her.
Clarice nodding her head, �Then we should get you fed.�
Kat|e smiles warmly, �Good morrow to you, handsome lad. Hear I was playing the wilted damsel. What did I miss?�
^Shinta nods to Stryder, �Hello to you as well.�
Vin_Da_DM: �The usual,� Stryder furrows his brow for a moment looking Katie in the eyes, �But it seems you had your own issues to deal with.�
Tewyn walks into the galley and takes a seat.
Claron: �You mean, I can�t live on love alone.�
Kat|e drops her gaze and nods quietly, stealing a glance at Shinta.
Luna_Faline: As Alexei leaves I pull on my cloak and tie the belt loosely. With a last look at the rose on the altar I leave my room and close the door. I stand in the hall for a moment sniffing, then turn and follow the trail of the majority.
^Shinta takes a seat watching the others gather.
Clarissa stands quietly watching Kat|e.
Kat|e orders some sausage and eggs with grape juice, then sits and eats.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight looks up from his bowl on the floor of the galley towards the people, sitting he perks his ears and tilts his head.
Clarice smiles at the twins as she sits down next to Tewyn.
Vin_Da_DM: ~She�s an interesting one.~ Stryder eyes Clarissa as she watches Katie.
Tewyn gets up and grabs some food and sits back down.
Tabris: Reaching the galley Tabris notices Clarissa and Stryder waiting, �Well, that didn�t take long to find you two.�
Kat|e looks at Shinta, her gaze lingering, then turns her attention back to her food.
Luna_Faline walks softly into the galley and orders a bottle of cream, then takes a seat quietly.
Claron grabs Tabris hand, �You made me work up quite an appetite.�
^Shinta tilts his head, �Is there something on my face?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Doing what exactly, Mom?� Stryder smirks at Claron as he exchanges a glance with Clarissa.
Kat|e laughs gaily, �No, indeed. Just yer usual scowl, dearest.�
Clarissa eyes light up as she sees Tab and Claron, �About time you two got here�� hugging Tabris first, then Claron.
Kat|e turns at the sound of Claron�s voice.
^Shinta: �Scowl...when do I scowl?� Looking at Clarissa, �Seems some progress has been made.�
Tabris hugs Clarissa back with a grin, �Nice to see you too, sweetie.�
Kat|e grins.
Claron looks up at Tab with the �I don�t know what to make of our daughter�s ever changing attitude� as she returns Clarissa�s hug.
Vin_Da_DM: Quietly Midnight makes his way around the galley, sniffing people and wagging his tail as he goes.
Kat|e: �You are just too much fun to tease.� She cocks her head, �But then, I think you always were.� She looks thoughtful.
^Shinta: �You must have me mistaken for someone else��
Luna_Faline takes a drink and watches everyone in the galley. My mind wandering absently to memories just out of reach.
Tewyn: �When did we get a fucking mutt?�
Kat|e raises an eyebrow at Tewyn and mutters softly, �Vulgar, lil froggie,� or something like it.
Vin_Da_DM: �You are distant, Avatar, does something trouble you?� The Guardian�s voice chimes in as he quietly sits down across from Luna.
Clarissa hears Tewyn and happily interjects, �Don�t you remember we found him on that ship?�
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight tilts his head at Tewyn hearing him then goes back to sniffing around.
Tewyn: �I haven�t begun to get vulgar�yet. Trying to catch up on that beauty sleep the last few weeks have ya?�
Kat|e finishes her breakfast and pushes her plate away, stretching, her back arched and head thrown back.
Luna_Faline shrugs as my eyes refocus on the present, �The usual.� Taking another drink, �What have you been up to?� I ask Guardian softly.
Tabris: �Well, let�s get something to eat then,� Tabris folds his arms around his children�s shoulder and walks them over to the replicator.
Tewyn looks to Clarissa, �No, I don�t...Mutts are useless anyway.�
Kat|e grins, �Didn�t work, did it?�
Claron whispers softly, �Oh, a nice juicy steak, baked potato and salad sounds great to me,� taking a seat at the table.
Vin_Da_DM: �Matters from the Council required my attention. They requested Kuan return to aid them in a secret mission. So, I had to return with him.� The Guardian nods to Luna before �blinking�.
Clarissa moves little closer to Tewyn, �No, they aren�t, Midnight here, has been a big help,� reaching down to pat Midnight�s head.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m not really that hungry, but I guess I�ll have a sandwich,� Stryder comments as he wiggles loose of Tabris� arm.
Luna_Faline looks at Guardian, �Kuan is not with us now?�
Claron glances over and notices Katie, smiles at her silently mouthing, �Good to see you back with us.�
Tewyn: �Half-breeds are just good for target practice.�
Kat|e smiles warmly back, nodding, then jerks her head at the children and giving a thumbs up.
Vin_Da_DM: �For the moment. He told me to tell you that �only with practice will you truly understand it�s power�.� Guardian shifts his position in the seat then glances at Luna, �I presume you know what he was referring to?�
Clarissa looks at Tewyn puzzled, �He ain�t a half-breed�are ya boy?�while scratching behind Midnight�s ear.
Tewyn: �Who said I was talking bout him?� glaring at Clarissa.
Luna_Faline bows my head, �Yes, I do,� with a quiet sigh. �I was hoping he could help me figure it out. But if he�s gone I will have to figure it out on my own.�
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight pushes into Clarissa�s scratching with his head, clearly enjoying it.
^Shinta watches the others and exits out of the galley quietly.
Kat|e sees him leave, and frowns, sighing, before shaking her head and getting up to pace restlessly.
Clarissa looks back at Tewyn, �SO�who you referring to then?� asks Tewyn innocently.
Vin_Da_DM: �If it is something you need assistance with, Avatar. I may be able to aid you,� resting his arms on the table the Guardian leans back.
Tewyn: �Nosey little bitch, aren�t you?�
Tabris: Grabbing his and Claron�s plates Tabris walks over to the table and sits down, �Tater, steak and salad as you ordered.�
Luna_Faline looks at him thoughtfully for a moment. Then draws my sai and lays in gently on the table between us.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder joins his parents at the table, eyeing his sandwich before taking a few bites.
^Shinta starts walking down the hall, �Yes, Kyo. I know...she is remembering more it seems.�
Kat|e stares off into space, her eyes vacant, and�hurt. Tears shimmer, but remain unfallen.
Claron smiles as Tabris places her food in front of her, �Thanks, love,� tilting her head over towards Clarissa standing close to Tewyn.
Vin_Da_DM: The Guardian leans forward looking at the sai, �Ahh, I have seen these before. It was recently empowered, was it not?�
Luna_Faline watches the group for a second before looking back at the sai. �Mistress blessed it with some kind of power. But I don�t know what it is or how to use it,� while thinking to herself, �mainly cause my memory sucks, the older I get�.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight wanders over to Katie and looks up at her with a soft whimper as he nuzzles her leg as if comforting.
Clarissa stands boldly in front of Tewyn, �I don�t believe I have nosed into your business for some time now.�
Vin_Da_DM: �What sort of power has is demonstrated so far?� The Guardian blinks again as he moves the sai with his hand.
Kat|e looks down, her eyes wet, and caresses Midnight�s large head, smiling softly, �Hello, you rogue. Come for some affection from me, have ye? Well�Y�know, I�m a softie for a rascal.�
Vin_Da_DM: Wagging his tail Midnight watches Katie.
Tewyn stands and stares down Clarissa walking her back toward a wall, �OH, is that so...You�ve been nothing but a bratty little piece of shit since you got here...then I suppose I should of guessed you would be!�
Kat|e strokes Midnight absently, her mind reaching for a vision just dancing out of reach.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not good�� Stryder looks up towards Tewyn and Clarissa.
Clarissa finds herself walking backwards, feeling her back stopped by the wall, �Who... me?�
Tabris pauses eating, leaving his fork on his plate as he stands up.
Kat|e shakes off her thoughts, watching the drama unfold.
Clarissa: ~Stryder, what�s he talking about?~
Tewyn: �Yes, YOU�you bratty little crying bitch,� grabbing her throat, �Remember this, don�t you?�When you watched me and Shaiya at night...I saw you each time�YOU wanted it, didn�t you? But, no man wants a little brat like you.�
Luna_Faline watching the activities around us, I lean forward and whisper, �I dropped it in my sleep and it hummed and caused an energy surge of some kind.�
Tabris: �Let her go, Tewyn, and back off!� Tabris walks over toward Tewyn holding Clarissa.
Claron watches Tab stand up...�Wait, maybe we should let Tewyn get this out��
Kat|e shivers and backs up, her eyes wide.

Tabris: �All right then. Educate me if I�m supposed to be learning,� Tabris crosses his arms and waits.

Vin_Da_DM: Guardian watches Tewyn and the others before looking back at Luna with a robotic sigh, �I see. I�m familiar with this sort of empowerment, but it varies with the weapon and user.�
Claron looks at Tabris and Stryder, �What you mean?�She hears her all the time?�
Tewyn: �She awoke my past...my love for human suffering...GOD, how I missed that. AND you were supposed to pass that evil lust to my children, dear mentor�THAT is why you were chosen.�
Clarissa spits out, �I been hiding nothing, Stryder knew!�
Kat|e wants to escape, but she�s frozen in place, her mind whirling, silently willing Shinta to return.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder lowers his gaze for a moment, then looks back up. �Of course I knew and I offered to help you stop it��
Tewyn: �You really fucked this one up, Claron...she was so full of hate, she came running to me and Shaiya...and ohh, the things we taught her!�
Clarissa: �He lies!!�
Tewyn laughs, �I�m lying...this coming from a child set on killing her parents...the same hate you instilled into my twins.�
Clarissa looks around the room at everyone, �I swear, I haven�t crossed over the line� Stryder!�
Luna_Faline picks up my sai, �Purrhaps, we should stop the family feud soon?� I whisper to Guardian.
Tewyn lets Clarissa go and walks to the door, �They are coming, and you are responsible for their actions, Clarissa.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks at Clarissa confused.
Clarissa pulls at Tewyn�s hand, �She told me if I didn�t�she�d kill Stryder�� tears welling up in her eyes, �I COULDN�T let that happen!�
Tewyn shrugs Clarissa off and walks out.
Vin_Da_DM: Suddenly Ettik is jolted as you exit hyperspace, several spatial charges going off outside the ship, their explosions visible from the galley windows.
^Shinta walks back to the galley watching Tewyn storm out, �Ummm, who upset him?�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei�s voice comes blaring over the coms, �Damn it...looks like we�ve arrived in the middle of a fire fight!�
Kat|e stumbles at the jolt, losing her balance.
Clarissa turns around and looks over at the others in the galley, her bottom lip trembling, then looks at Shinta...�I...it was me.�
Luna_Faline shakes my head, �Just like when we left it,� putting out a paw to steady Katie.
Vin_Da_DM: The Guardian stands up and moves towards the window, outside of which several large silvery warships are engaging other ships around Gabe�s station.
Claron rising from her chair races over to Clarissa wrapping her arms around her��Oh, Lil Miss��
^Shinta: �Should of known...was only a matter of time.�
Kat|e closes her eyes and whispers a prayer under her breath. �Another set of twins. We�ve got trouble. If they are anything like Froggie, God help us.�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei continues over the coms, �Got a coded message to get to the station immediately...arg!� Alexei�s grunt matches another jolt that hits Ettik, causing the ship to groan lowly.
Tabris: �Never fails�� Tabris curses under his breath as he looks over towards the window.
Claron uses a couple fingers to wipe away Clarissa�s tears as she hears the sound of explosions.
Vin_Da_DM: �Those are RD�s ships�� Stryder eyes the silver hulls against the black of space.
Kat|e scurries to her quarters, where she straps her pistols to her hips, twists her hair up at the nape of her neck, and takes a deep steadying breath, striding back out to join the others, her face an impassive mask.
Vin_Da_DM: Ettik starts weaving through the fire fight, loud noises accompanying the main cannon shots.
Clarice races after Tewyn, grabbing his hand...�Stop! What in the hell were you doing back there?...And what AREN�T you telling me?�
Tewyn pulls away from Clarice, �What? Weren�t you fucking listening!!�
Tabris: �You going to be okay?� Tabris looks back at Clarissa.
Clarice: �Of course, I was listening. You aren�t yourself�she�s got a hold of you again��
Luna_Faline looks out the window at the fight going on. �Fights within, fights without.� I mumble under my breath.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m going to have to transport you all over to station�s interior. Com channels are filled with chaos so expect company.� Alexei comes over the com again.
Tewyn eyes narrow and a grin comes over his face, �No, my dear, she doesn�t...she just reminded me of what I was missing so much�human suffering, pain, death�all the things I used to live for.�
Clarissa nods her head, �I...I�didn�t want to lose Stryder�� her tears starting anew.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian turns from the window and grabs a mechanical tube from his back that expands into his spear within seconds, �Prepare yourselves.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder walks up next to Clarissa and hugs her tightly, �You won�t lose me��
Tewyn: �All the things I pushed aside to be with you people��
Clarice shakes her head, �No, Tewyn...that can�t be so��
Kat|e jerks her head in a nod, steadying her breathing, calming her heartbeat with focus.
Luna_Faline slips the sai into my boot once again. Standing up I extend my claws fully.
Vin_Da_DM: Ettik shutters as it flies through the stations shield grid flying up alongside the station as the blasts from RD�s warships spread across the shield with a flash.
Clarissa manages a weak smile and hugs Stryder back, �She does still talk to me��
Tewyn: �Oh, it is very so... At that station�that was all me, she had no hold on me. It was all for pleasure.�
Vin_Da_DM: �My offer to help still stands,� Stryder nods to Clarissa, �But right now, we�ve got other problems.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I hope everyone�s ready because I have to transport you all now,� Alexei adds in on the coms.
Clarice stands facing Tewyn, �Then if you miss the old you...why don�t you just start with me�GO ahead, DESTROY me! I won�t give you a fight...I will gladly die for you!� Secretly hoping those words will ring a bell with Tewyn.
Vin_Da_DM: Twirling his spear the Guardian nods to Luna before he is teleported in a yellow flash.
Clarissa begins to tremble.
Luna_Faline watches Guardian go, thinking, �I always hate this part�.
Tewyn: �There is no fun without the struggle, the fear in their eyes...your just committing suicide�hmm, now why is that?...missing something are you?�
Vin_Da_DM: Both Luna and Katie teleport off the Ettik as well.
Kat|e closes her eyes as she transports, opening them again when she feels solid ground beneath her.
Kat|e: �Gads, that makes me queasy,� she mutters, looking around.
Luna_Faline shakes my head to clear the fuzz, I stand ready for a fight.
Vin_Da_DM: Katie and Luna find themselves in a crowded docking bay mostly filled with people trying to get aboard escape ships.
Claron looks at Tab then back at the twins, �Now what are we going to do?�
Vin_Da_DM: The Guardian looks over his shoulder at Luna and Katie with a nod.
Kat|e gives a humorless laugh. �As always. People are trying to get OUT, and we rush IN.�
Vin_Da_DM: Back on the Ettik Tabris, Claron, Clarissa, and Stryder teleport as a group. Reappearing near Luna and Katie.
Luna_Faline moves closer to Guardian, �That�s normal for us...I think.�
Vin_Da_DM: Shinta, Tewyn and Clarice follow suit, reappearing in the crowd aboard the station.
Luna_Faline looks around for Zach, �Where is the golden child? He�s the reason we�re here, right?�
Clarice feels her temper flaring, �Apparently so, sure as hell am missing MY elf�the one that taught me to trust, that showed me there was room for forgiveness��
Kat|e shoots Luna a look. �Well, at least you know who we�re looking for. I�ve been napping.� She sighs and frowns.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not exactly golden, but come on!� Zach walks past Luna from behind the group as he heads for an open hallway.
^Shinta: �Seems we are heading in the wrong direction.�

Vin_Da_DM: The Guardian follows after Zach.
Tabris: Looking around Tabris sighs, �Looks like we�re making sure we get this job done.�
Luna_Faline looks over my shoulder at Clarice and Tewyn, still fighting, �Let�s get out of here before hell boy freezes over,� I growl as I follow Guardian.
Vin_Da_DM: A group of blue-suited guards jog down the hallway toward Zach, �Sir! We have orders to escort you to your father. There�s fighting on the upper levels so stay
close.�
Kat|e gives a grin, �Well, fighting�s what we LIVE for.�
Tewyn: �Oh, that thing�just a gullible human.�
Vin_Da_DM: Zach nods and follows the guards down the hallways.
^Shinta: �Oh, joy! A fight��
Tabris looks at his kids then at Claron, �Let�s get going.�
Clarice looks around realizing that they are no longer on Ettik, �Gullible, loving someone is gullible?!�I believed in you,� sending a cold chill through Tewyn, turns in the direction of the others readying herself to race off towards them.
Tewyn walks away from Clarice, �I�m already cold blooded...or haven�t you realized it, yet?... Save your parlor tricks.�
Vin_Da_DM: ~You up to this, Sis?~ Stryder looks at Clarissa as he readies himself to join the others.
Claron nods her head, �Stay close to us, we will not let anything or anyone separate us.�
Luna_Faline looking over my shoulder I see Tewyn leaving, �I don�t think we should let him rejoin them.�
Vin_Da_DM: The corridor ahead turns into a glass walled walkway stretching across the large central hub of the station. Below guards and RD�s cyborgs are fighting in melee and ranged combat.
Clarissa: ~I don�t know...my head hurts...stay by me�~ reaching her hand out for Stryder�s.
Kat|e glances over at Shinta and gives him a shy smile, then turns back to the business at hand.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian comments as they walk, �He will do as he means to...but do not lose faith in him yet.�
^Shinta offers a smile back, �Ready to kick butt?�
Kat|e: �Always,� her chin and shoulders lift, as if strength were flooding into her.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder grabs Clarissa hand and heads out after the group.
Tabris nods to Claron, �We�re off.�
Luna_Faline: �Faith? That is a thin thread, rapidly unraveling.�
Clarice growls as Tewyn walks away from her�
Vin_Da_DM: �Chaos down there�� one of the guards comments. Another guard nods then looks up, �Incoming!�
Tewyn: �Oh, lets go to the chaos!!�
Vin_Da_DM: Gazing up the Guardian notices the large piece of metal falling toward the walkway. Pushing Luna back it crashes into the walkway with a loud crash killing two of the guards and causing the whole walkway to groan and bend.
Kat|e stumbles into Shinta, gasping.
^Shinta: �Easy there, was only a little scare.�
Vin_Da_DM: Getting to his feet on the other side of the wreckage Zach grabs the orb case, �I think this thing gonna break, hurry up!�
Luna_Faline looks at the walkway where the guards where and shivers.
Vin_Da_DM: The remaining guard and Zach rush down the walkway toward the far end. Luna notices the middle of the walkway is slowly bending
Clarice hears Tewyn, fighting the urge to freeze him solid where he stands, she follows close behind her sister.
Kat|e looks down and chews her lip. �It�s gonna give!� she cries.
Tewyn hurries to the other side, �Chaos! Beautiful, beautiful chaos! Lets go find more!�
Vin_Da_DM: The Guardian climbs over the wreckage and to the other half of the walkway. �Quickly, get across.�
^Shinta takes Kat|e�s hand, �Come, we must hurry across.�
Clarice concentrates on a safe ice walkway for the others to slide across.
Luna_Faline steps back and then starts a run and jumps over the mess to the other side.
Kat|e tightens her fingers in Shinta�s and hurries along with him.
Luna_Faline: As I land on my paws and feet I continue running after Zach.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder holds Clarissa hand tightly as they cross Clarice�s ice walkway.
^Shinta: �Seems you haven�t lost a step.�
Claron holds tightly to Tabris as she watches the twins slide across the walkway ahead of them.
Vin_Da_DM: With several loud snaps the walkway gives and breaks into two. Causing both sides to start to collapse.
Kat|e smiles, �I�ve lost several. But you have a way of helping me regain them.�
Tewyn looks around for more fighting, �Well, where is all the fun stuff?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Shit!� Tabris grabs Claron and runs back the way they came.
Luna_Faline keeps running using my claws for grip.
Clarice stands watching as the walkway breaks away...
Kat|e�s eyes widen, but she keeps running, her hand still linked with Shinta�s.
^Shinta: �I just help the ways in which I can.�
Tewyn looks back at Claron and Tabris, �Oh, conveniently left on the other side, huh?�. Going for the sex in extreme places now, are we?�
Vin_Da_DM: The walkway under Clarice�s feet bends sending her falling towards the chaos below.
Luna_Faline looks back in time to see Clarice fall. I scream, �CLARICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!�
Vin_Da_DM: As Stryder rushes along the walkway with Clarissa, he shimmers the both of them to the safe part of the hallway ahead.
Vin_Da_DM: Zach and his guard disappear down the hallway as the Guardian stands next to Luna watching Clarice fall.
Claron screams, �NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!� as she watches Clarice fall and tries concentrating to reverse Clarice�s gravity...
Tewyn peeks over waving bye at Clarice.
Kat|e reaches the far end of the walkway, and turns to look behind her, gasping.
Vin_Da_DM: As Clarice falls towards the chaos she disappears from sight as jet packed guards fly over her path.
Tabris: �Damn it�� Looking across the gap to the other side of the walkway Tabris growls, �Stuck on the wrong side��
Luna_Faline looks over at Tewyn and hisses, �He�s gonna pay for that some day.�
Tewyn smirks, �I do hope so�one day, kitty.�
Vin_Da_DM: �...we should continue.� The Guardian lowers his head before turning toward the hallway.
^Shinta tugs at Kat|e, �We must keep going.�
Claron: �Great! This is just fucking great!�
Vin_Da_DM: �Aunt Clarice! No�� Stryder looks down at the broken walkway then at Clarissa.
Kat|e nods, tears pooling in her eyes, her thoughts only of Claron�s pain.
Tewyn yells back to Claron, �Don�t worry, we will keep these two safe,� with a smile across his face.
Luna_Faline turns and follows Guardian, full of rage and anger.
Vin_Da_DM: Ahead down the hallway you hear gunshots and the distinct noise of Zach�s lightning strikes hitting something.
Claron�s face pales, �Oh god, Tab! The twins�over there with Tewyn. And how could he seem so happy to watch my sister fall?�Oh, my god! Not Clarice, not now!�
Tewyn ears perk, �Alright, some action!!�
Tabris: �There must be another way across, we have to look for it!� Tabris looks at Claron: With stern determination, �If he lays a finger on them he�ll regret it.�
Vin_Da_DM: Rounding the next corner Guardian looks across the medium sized chamber ahead.
Kat|e scurries to catch up with Luna and Guardian.
^Shinta gets drug by Katie then, behind the others.
Claron nods her head weakly, �We got to figure out how we going to get back with the others.�
Vin_Da_DM: Lowering his gaze Stryder looks across the gap toward Claron and Tabris, �Something�s blocking my powers...I can�t get over there.�
Vin_Da_DM: The chamber has several scorch marks on the walls and Zach�s guard lying against the wall, a large blood pool spreading from him.
Vin_Da_DM: Zach is seen briefly turning the corner of another hallway across the room from the group.
Luna_Faline runs across the room quickly and down the hall that Zach went.
Vin_Da_DM: The Guardian follows after Luna as he chases after Zach.
Kat|e hurries after Luna with Shinta still in tow.
Tewyn stops and tastes the blood, �Mmmmmmm, now this is good stuff.�
Claron looks at Tab, �If you and I use our powers together, do you think an obsidian spike with some make do rope, could help us get across?�
Vin_Da_DM: As Katie moves to follow she is knocked to her feet by an invisible hand, silently several cloaked figures in the room uncloak bearing odd bladed weapons.
Luna_Faline tries to focus on the job we are supposed to be doing as I try to catch Zach.
Kat|e lands hard, gasping for breath.
^Shinta falls to the ground with Kat|e, �Seems we fight here�
Tabris: �Maybe...what did you have in mind?� Tabris looks at Claron with a raised brow.
Vin_Da_DM: Twirling their swords in perfect unison the group of five in deep black armor raises their blades.
^Shinta coughs standing up, pulling Kat|e up with him.
^Shinta eyes shimmer as Sano takes control and slams his palms into the chest of one of the cloaked figures.
Kat|e pants, her emerald eyes narrowing, �If you wanted a dance, boys, there�s nicer ways to ask.�
Vin_Da_DM: Zach continues to run until he reaches an elevator lobby where several more of the cloaked figures appear and surround him.
Vin_Da_DM: The armored man stumbles back then turns his head popping his neck as he twirls the blade toward Shinta�s chest.
Kat|e grabs her gun lightning-fast and shoots before the blade can reach Shinta.
Claron smiles then pulls out her dagger...�This long blue shirt of mine, I could cut it into strips, fashion a rope attached to your obsidian, and with my gravity control help us sail across��
^Shinta rolls toward the right.
Vin_Da_DM: Katie�s bullet ricochets off the blade. The figure watches Shinta roll, then swings at Katie full force.
Vin_Da_DM: The remaining four in the room simply hold their blades up watching the fifth fight.
Clarissa holds tightly onto Stryder, �You know who�s blocking you as well as I do.�
Kat|e drops and sends a kick flying at the figure�s right knee.
Luna_Faline with the moment from my run I lunge at nearest one�s back burying my already extended claws into his throat.
^Shinta: �Noo!!� Grabs at the figure and rips at his arms.
Vin_Da_DM: The Guardian charges another of the figures near Zach, spearing him as Zach blows a hole in one with repeated lightning blasts.
Luna_Faline: Using the man as leverage, I swing and kick the one next to him in the head. Impaling his head with the heals on my boots.
Vin_Da_DM: The figure crumples in front of Shinta and Katie. With more neck pops the remaining four begin to attack.
Kat|e flips to her feet, grabbing her gun and aiming at the next in line, taking a shot.
^Shinta picks up the sword from the fallen one, eyes shimmering again and voice changing, �Only four of you...hmmm�too bad.�
^Shinta places the sword to his side and takes an offensive stance.
Claron squeezes Tab�s hand, �Well, do you think that might work?�
Vin_Da_DM: The remaining figure near Zach manages to slice him in the arm causing him to drop the case. Grabbing it he cloaks again disappearing.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna and the Guardian�s targets fall the floor lifeless.
^Shinta charges and attacks with an arcing swipe the two on the left.
Vin_Da_DM: The two hold their swords together and deflect Shinta�s blow, while Katie�s shot is deflected by the third�s sword.
Vin_Da_DM: Meanwhile the fourth one circles around behind Shinta and stabs at him.
Luna_Faline kicks the dead man off my boots and grabs Zach healing his arm, �They got the case,� I growl.
^Shinta uses the deflection and powers his swing toward the one behind him.
Vin_Da_DM: The one behind Shinta sinks into his blade then falls back. The two in front of him splits to either side and begin to swing again.
Kat|e concentrates, magnetizing the blades together so that the armored figures are now weaponless.
^Shinta looks at Kat|e, �Like old times.�
Kat|e: �What now, ye ruddy bastards?!�
Kat|e grins at Shinta, her eyes wild. �Aye, luv. We�ve beaten down worse, haven�t we?�
Tewyn stands after tasting a lot of the blood and goes to catch up with the others.
Luna_Faline looks at Guardian, �We�ve been divided, what now?�
Vin_Da_DM: Losing their swords the figures begin to attack with melee. The one near Katie manages to kick her gun from her hand.
Vin_Da_DM: �Damn it...that case. We�ve got to find it.� Zach looks around at the bodies.
^Shinta eyes shimmer again a young voice now audible, �Take this, you tin can,� banging the sword against the figure�s cod piece.
Kat|e�s eyes gleam viciously. She elbows the one nearest in the head, twirling to send the heel of her boot into another kneecap.
Claron starts making slits in her long tunic shirt, starts ripping them into strips...
Vin_Da_DM: Hit in the kneecap that figure falls to the ground. The remaining two twitch their heads to the side as if watching something before they cloak and vanish.
^Shinta: �Damn bastard, doesn�t have any balls!�
Kat|e: �Damn it, I weren�t done with ye, yet!� she screams in frustration.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian looks at Zach and Luna, �It will be hard to find them on this station��
Kat|e shakes her head and starts to laugh, �Ye�ve got enough for the entire universe, Remy, ya scoundrel.�
^Shinta looks at Kat|e, �Dammmmmmmn, Kyo was right...you�� Eyes shimmer again, �That�s enough from you, young man,� Shinta taking over.
^Shinta lowers his head, �Sorry, he slipped thru during the ruckus.�
Kat|e raises an eyebrow, �Did I really wanna know what he was about to say?� She gives a small laugh.
Tabris nods at Claron then looks across, �All right...I hope this works.�
Claron starts tying the strips together in tight knots, �It has to work, we have no other options as I see it.�
Kat|e pants, trying to get her breath back. �Time to find Luna and Guardian, methinks.� She gives Shinta one last look, then heads off where they last saw them.
Luna_Faline: �What are ya lookin for? He took it with him,� I growl at Zach, �I think this was all a big trap to get us again.�
^Shinta nods and follows behind Kat|e.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks around as if hearing something, �Clarissa...they�re here.�
Vin_Da_DM: �If they have it they have to get off the station. There�s still a chance we can get it back!� Zach exclaims and he opens up a com panel on the wall.
Clarissa trembles, �I know, what are we going to do? What if I can�t be strong like you?� And fight what I know I am expected to do?�
Luna_Faline looks at Zach, �How do you think we can stop that?�
Vin_Da_DM: ~We have to face them...~ Stryder looks at Clarissa with another nod, ~There�s only one place they�re going to let us go...~
Claron hands Tabris the make shift rope. �Okay, need your spear tied to one end�and pray we can sink it into the wall over there.�
Vin_Da_DM: �If what the guards said was right, they breached somewhere in the upper halls,� Zach grabs a few of the wires, looking at the screen as he does, �If I can trigger the lockdown it�ll slow them enough for us to get there before them.�
Tewyn walks slowly up behind the group, �Do we get to kill them too?�
Luna_Faline: �How you gonna do that?� I ask Zach.
Tabris: Creating a long pronged shard around the rope Tabris hefts it with one hand, �Here goes�� Tossing it at the other wall forcefully he watches it sail across.
Clarissa nods her head in understanding, ~Together, you and I, always and forever.~ Mentally saying the words they used to one another so many times before.
Vin_Da_DM: The com panel sparks then the screen flashes red, �A little bit of rewiring. Okay, that should slow them down.�
Vin_Da_DM: ~Hold on.~ Stryder grabs Clarissa other hand as the two shimmer out of the hallway.
Claron helps with the gravity, praying she can help the spear sink deeply and securely enough to lighten her and Tabris, as she feels his arm securely around her waist.
Luna_Faline reaches down and pulls my sai from my boot, I tuck it up my sleeve and hold it ready for the next fight. No matter who the opponent is. �Mistress, show me your way,� I pray silently.
Tabris: The spear sinks into the metal wall near the far end of the crumpled walkway. Tabris grins, �I think I remember seeing this in an old adventure holo-vid.�
Vin_Da_DM: Zach pries open the elevator doors and steps inside the elevator, �Come on. We�ve got some ground to cover if we�re going to get that case back.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Light shall guide our path to victory,� the Guardian adds to Luna�s prayer as he enters the elevator.
Tewyn: �Or darkness,� adding his own views, �So can I kill the first one?�
Luna_Faline steps thru the doors onto the elevator behind Guardian. I give him an odd look as if he read my thoughts.
Claron smiles as Tabris yanks hard on the rope making sure its secure. �I am ready any time you are,� concentrating as she feels them both sail through the air.
Kat|e limps up to Luna and group.
Luna_Faline reaches a paw out to Katie as she joins us, causing her to heal.
^Shinta: �Glad we made it.�
Kat|e smiles her thanks, and steps on the elevator.
Tabris: Landing on the other side Tabris cheers, �Yea! Beat that Indiana Jones! Better hurry!� Tabris unties the rope and rushes down the corridor.
Claron rushes behind Tabris.
Tabris: �Hold that elevator!� Tabris shouts as he approaches the elevator.
Kat|e leans into Shinta, tiring.
Vin_Da_DM: Zach opens the panel and begins to re-wire it as Tabris and Claron enter the elevator, �Stay on guard, this ain�t over yet.�
^Shinta wraps his arms around Kat|e instinctively, then snaps out and lets her lean onto him.
Claron nods her head as her eyes search the elevator for her children.
Tewyn: �Hey, the sex machines made it...bout time.�
Kat|e looks up with a bemused look on her face. She smiles softly and snuggles her head onto his chest, letting go of her worries for the moment and just reveling in the feeling of being held.
Claron snaps sharply, �Thanks for all your help!� Her eyes glaring at Tewyn.
Tewyn: �Help is earned, Lil Oral Annie.�
Claron: �I�ll show you oral when I rip your genitalia off and shove it down your throat!�

Luna_Faline�s control falters and a hand wraps tightly around Tewyn�s neck from behind him, squeezing enough to cut off the little blood flowing to his small brain. I hold the sai to his back, just about where his heart should be. �I think you should shut the hell up,� I whisper in his ear, �Or it will be the last word you�ll say!�
Claron then snaps back, �So will you, when I am through with you!�
Tewyn giggles, �MMMM, kinky, kitty. You watched, too�huh?�
Kat|e shudders and whispers to Shinta, �I don�t like him.�
Vin_Da_DM: The elevator doors close and it begins to speed upwards. Meanwhile, Stryder and Clarissa reappear in a dark dimly lit room. A young man in black clothing is kneeling over Clarice and a young woman in black rests her hand on his shoulder.
Vin_Da_DM: The man looks up and speaks, �So the circle completes itself. The light returns to face the darkness,� as he watches the two the women he continues, �We shall take you back to her, but not before we enjoy ourselves.�
Vin_Da_DM: The man draws his sword while the woman lifts her hands as they become wreathed in purple flames�
^Shinta: �He is who he is�we can�t judge that.�
