Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: During their journey to Gabe�s coordinates the group continued their interlude between tasks. Clarissa has begun to act strangely and showing signs of darkness again. Only moments later a stealth ship arrived at the coordinates.
Vin_Da_DM: Given the right codes the ship was allowed to dock. It�s passenger was a young man named Zach who claimed to be Gabe�s son. With him he had a case which held a powerful item stolen from one of the sinister RD�s battleships.
Vin_Da_DM: The item was a small orb called the Orbis Exitium, or Orb of Ruin. And Zach claimed that a set of twins and robot man were after him for stealing the orb and that they should return to Gabe as soon as possible with it�
Vin_Da_DM: We rejoin the Warriors a couple hours later as Ettik is speeding through hyperspace headed for Gabe�s station�
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
^Vincent^ lies face down on his bed snoring and talking in his sleep.
Vin_Da_DM: Zach sits at a table in the galley, the case holding the Orb laying on the table in front of him.
^Vincent^: �No, I hate tacos...run�hurry�run the burrito is going to explode!�
Clarissa wanders thru Ettik avoiding everyone else aboard.
^Vincent^ rolls over and falls out of bed *THUD* �Owww, stupid Mexican food!�
Vin_Da_DM: ~Going...~ �Somewhere, Sister?� Stryder shimmers into the empty hallway behind Clarissa, eyeing her cautiously.
^Vincent^ stands up and leaves his room.
^Vincent^ looks around the hallway then just starts to wander the ship
Tabris: �Do you think we should go check up on her?� Tabris looks at Claron while he sits on the edge of their bed.
Luna_Faline lays in a restless sleep. The sai held tightly in my paw.
Clarissa does not stop to turn and look, but runs her hand along the side of Ettik. ~Like there are a lot of places to go aboard Ettik, dear brother.~
Vin_Da_DM: �Perhaps the desire to return to her is coming back to you?� Walking closer to Clarissa he narrows his gaze.
Claron: �You are asking me?...One minute she is fine. Next minute...she re-distances herself.�
^Vincent^ starts to hum a song as he wanders.
Vin_Da_DM: Vincent notices Midnight the dog in the hallway ahead of him. Turning his head at Vincent it tilts as his ears perk up.
Clarissa: ~I never could hide my innermost thoughts from you, no matter how hard I tried or try...~ turning to look back at Stryder.
^Vincent^: �Hey, a dog! Hey, puppy where�d you come from?� walks over to Midnight and pats his head.
Vin_Da_DM: Vincent feels something strange when he pats Midnight but it fades instantly. Padding a few steps away from Vincent Midnight wags his tail.
^Vincent^: �What was that?� Shakes his head then follows the dog.
Clarice makes her way to the plant room and pulls out a doobie. Taking a few moments to lean against the door and light up. Inhales deeply while thinking about the differences in her niece and nephew.
Vin_Da_DM: ~There are things that you were not taught that I was.~ Stryder moves next to Clarissa, then grabs her arm, �But do you not understand how dangerous she is?�
Vin_Da_DM: The crab-bot in the botanical bay looks at Clarice as she lights up, then skitters on watering plants.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight leads Vincent down several corridors before stopping in front of Cargo Bay One. Sniffing the door he paws at it.
Clarissa jerks her arm out of Stryder�s grasp, �She has never hurt me��
^Vincent^: �Ya want to go in there boy?� opens the door and watches the dog.
Tabris: �Hmm...I�m not sure what to do. I didn�t exactly get all the years of fathering I needed.� Tabris sighs and lays back against the bed with a �humph�.
Luna_Faline rolls over dropping the sai on the floor.
Vin_Da_DM: �She will...it�s in her nature.� Stryder lets go of Clarissa and turns around, �I will not allow her to hurt our parents.�
Vin_Da_DM: Luna�s sai stabs into the metal flooring, beginning to produce an audible hum that increases in volume.
Claron shakes her head, �We, didn�t exactly have the normal parent-child family time��
Vin_Da_DM: As the cargo bay door opens Midnight dashes inside and begins to sniff around.
^Vincent^ enters and watches the dog, �What is it boy?�
Luna_Faline sits up covering my ears with my paws, I look around for the sound. Seeing the sai sticking in the floor I reach down and pull it out.
Clarissa nods her head at Stryder, �I expect that from you, Brother. How can you be so certain?�
Vin_Da_DM: The hum stops sharply and the sai glows brightly briefly before the glow is sucked into the gem on the sai�s hilt.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei�s voice comes on over the coms, �Everything all right down there, Luna? I registered a large spike in the power grid in your quarters.�
Luna_Faline stares at the sai, as it glows then dims. �Yes, I think so. Is Ettik alright?� I respond to the com.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight stops near the edge of Zach�s battered ship. Watching a few of the pot-marks he jumps back and barks at tiny scratching noises emanating from them.
^Vincent^ walks to the ship, �What in the holy hell is that?� Gets closer to the ship to hear where the noise is coming from.
Vin_Da_DM: �Seems to be...odd,� Alexei replies.
Luna_Faline looks over at the alter, in awe. �What�s odd?� I ask him.
Vin_Da_DM: As Vincent approaches the ship the noise stops.
^Vincent^ stops and looks at the ship, �Hmmm, what is that?� Takes a step backwards watching the ship.
Clarice takes a few more tokes off her doobie, watches the crab-bot watering the plants briefly before pocketing the roach and heading towards the galley.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m not sure...but from these readings that spike was caused by an unknown energy source.� Alexei replies again.
Clarissa: ~The question is...WILL you STOP me?~
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks over his shoulder giving Clarissa a stern look, �If I have to��
^Vincent^: �Alexei there is something weird bout that guys ship, there is a scratching noise coming from it. Is there any way you can check it out?�
Luna_Faline answers, �I see, I�ll be on the bridge in a few minutes,� reaching for my boots.
Clarissa returns Stryder�s look without flinching a muscle.
Vin_Da_DM: The com sputters static in reply to Vincent, as the scratching continues for a second before something small crawls off Zach�s ship and disappears in between the flooring.
Luna_Faline straightens my cloak, retying the belt. I slip the sai up my sleeve and head to Alexei.
^Vincent^: �What the fu...� Takes a step to where it fell.
Clarice wonders what the hell is going on.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight sniffs where the thing disappeared then disappears into the hallway in a sprint.
Vin_Da_DM: Zach looks up from the table as Clarice enters the galley, �Oh. Hey there.�
^Vincent^ runs after the dog following him, �ALEXEI, THERE IS A THING ON THIS SHIP!�
Luna_Faline enters the bridge as I hear Vincent�s com. I look at Alexei, �Any idea what he�s doing?�
Clarice smiles as she nods her head, �SO, what�s that thing supposed to do? I seemed to have forgotten��
Vin_Da_DM: �Aside from running around and screaming, I can�t tell,� Alexei hits the com button, �What �thing� are you talking about?�
Vin_Da_DM: �This?� Zach motions to the case, �That would depend on the application. The bad guys were trying to find uses for it as a weapon.�
^Vincent^: � I don�t know�a thing that came from the guy�s ship, it disappeared into the flooring and I�m following the dog. SHIT he�s fast.�
Vin_Da_DM: Vincent turns a corner and hits a dead end with no sign of Midnight.
Luna_Faline looks at Alexei, �It disappeared into the floor? I don�t like the sound of that.�
^Vincent^ skids to a stop, �WHAT THE HELL??!!...Hey, puppy? PUPPY??�Where are ya, boy?�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei scratches his head for a moment, �Well. I�m not detecting anything on scans that�s out of normal. Aside from that odd power spike in your room.�
Clarice looks at the orb a little closer, �What kind of applications are we talking, and were they successful?�
^Vincent^: �Alexei, I think it got the dog.�
^Vincent^ looks at the wall and the floor looking for any traces of the dog or the �Thing�.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not very successful, seeing as I stole it from them�� Zach smirks, �Gabe will know more...he sent me after the thing after all.�
Luna_Faline slips the sai out of my sleeve, �This is the cause of the power spike,� I hold it point down and drop it so that it will stick in the floor, �Does it draw the power to it? Or does the power come from it?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Be careful, Sister. Your road splits, one path we can walk together�� Stryder turns around watching Clarissa very closely, �The other will not end well��
Luna_Faline reaches down and grabs it quickly, before it can build too much power up.
Clarice nods her head, �Will be nice to see Gabe ��
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei shakes his head and eyes the sai, �Strange��
Luna_Faline: �Very,� tucking the sai into my boot. �Did you get any reading on it that time?�
Vin_Da_DM: Vincent hears the scratching noise again, this time it seems more ambient.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei turns to the holographic screen and nods reading the scrolling data in a script Luna cannot, �The same energy source��
^Vincent^: �Ummm, Alexei, can you hear this at all? Or did I finally go completely nuts?�
Vin_Da_DM: The coms sputter static at Vincent again, almost like the scratching is interfering with it.
Clarissa nods meekly while reaching out to touch Stryder�s hand...~I wouldn�t like the latter one.~
^Vincent^: �Yeah, this can�t be good,� looks around to pinpoint where it�s coming from.
Vin_Da_DM: �No, you wouldn�t. And neither would I,� Stryder glances at Clarissa�s hand as it touches his.
Luna_Faline: �Alexei, where is Vincent?� as my ears twitch, listening for any coms.
Vin_Da_DM: �Port side corridor, section five. Just a dead end against the engine pod...wonder why he�s there.� Alexei continues to study the display.
^Vincent^: �Where are you, you little bastard.�
Luna_Faline: �And is the dog with him? He said he was following the dog.�
Vin_Da_DM: The noise stops as a small black spider lands on Vincent�s arm and begins to skitter around.
^Vincent^: �DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA,� jumps back shaking his arm.
Vin_Da_DM: �Yes, scan says the dog is there with him,� Alexei shakes his head and grumbles, �Hmm��
Vin_Da_DM: The spider lands on the floor by Vincent�s feet and skitters up onto his boot.
^Vincent^: �Hey, hey, hey!� Shakes his boot, �I will stomp on you!�
Luna_Faline turns to leave the bridge in search of Vincent, �I�m going to check on him, I have a bad feeling about him.�
Vin_Da_DM: Zach leans forward and looks at Clarice, �So...you�re not a bad looker.�
^Vincent^ jumps on the spider.
Vin_Da_DM: Vincent hears Midnight growling loudly behind him as he crushes the spider. The dead spider seeps out a pool of dark liquid.
Luna_Faline reaches an intersection and pauses mumbling, �Port...left or right side,� to myself.
^Vincent^: �Hah, ya lil bastard, never mess with spida killa Vinn...what in the hell?� looks at Midnight.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight it staring intently at the dead spider as the liquid bubbles, releasing six more of the small spiders that scatter away disappearing.
Clarice is taken by surprise, �Thanks,� she manages to get out finally.
^Vincent^ jumps back looking at the spiders, �Whoa!�
Vin_Da_DM: Zach chuckles, �Don�t look so surprised. I�m sure guys tell you that all the time.�
^Vincent^ looks at Midnight, �Where in the hell did you go?�
Luna_Faline sniffs the air for a minute then follows Vincent�s scent.
Clarice smiles then whispers, �Just by a certain dark elf.�
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight tilts his head at Vincent then turns his head looking down the hallway.
^Vincent^ looks at the direction the dog is.
Vin_Da_DM: �I see, already taken.� Zach raps his fingers on the Orb case and nods, �This elf got a name?�
Luna_Faline rounds a corner and finally sees Vincent and Midnight, �What is going on down here?�
Clarissa: ~Why is it you don�t hear her anymore?~
^Vincent^: �We have some sort of mutant spider thingy on the ship. It came from that dude�s ship�I stepped on it then six of them popped out.�
Vin_Da_DM: ~Her whispers try to reach me, but they meet an empty void I created.~ Stryder adjusts his stance quietly watching Clarissa as he �talks�.
Clarice: �His name...Tewyn,� glances briefly at Zach before looking away.
Luna_Faline looks around for the spiders, �And where are these spiders now?�
^Vincent^: �They disappeared into the wall.�
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight wags his tail at Luna, then begins to sniff his way past her down the hall.
^Vincent^: �I think we should follow him, he�s the one who showed me where there were in the first place.�
Luna_Faline: �Well, let�s get out of this corner,� following Midnight.
^Vincent^ follows Midnight.
Clarissa lets out a snort, ~If I could find that empty void, you and I wouldn�t be having this conversation�~
^Vincent^: �Some little black nasty things scared the turd out of me.�
Tabris: �Wait...did you hear that?� Tabris looks at Claron with a raised brow then glances around the room.
Luna_Faline follows the dog, sniffing the air for any scents. �Alexei?�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder grins slyly, ~Do no dismiss me so easily, Sister. I can divert her whispers to you to the same void.~
Claron looks back at Tabris, �Didn�t hear anything other then the beat of your heart.�
^Vincent^: �I don�t think he can hear you. I have already tried when that spider popped out.�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei�s voice plays over the coms, �Did you find Vincent and the dog?�
Clarissa eyes Stryder cautiously.
^Vincent^: �What? The coms are working?�
Luna_Faline: �Yes and we have organic pests onboard,� to Alexei.
Tabris: �I swear I heard something from over here,� Tabris stands and looks in their bathroom.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, whatever they are, they�re not showing on Ettik�s internal scan�� The com cuts out with static before Alexei can finish his sentence.
Claron glances toward the bathroom, �Didn�t hear a thing��
^Vincent^: �Yeah, that is what happened before it attacked me.�
Luna_Faline reaches down and draws my sai out of my boot, �Just in case,� keeping an eye out for any spiders as we follow the dog.
^Vincent^: �I wouldn�t try to kill it. I stomped on the first one then 6 more popped out of the first.�
Tabris: �Hmm�� Tabris shrugs and looks around again, �I must be hearing things...agh, stupid bug!� Tabris takes a solid step down as if squishing something. Looking at it he frowns, �Bug guts..�
Claron shakes her head.
Vin_Da_DM: Zach continues to study Clarice, blinking he looks at Clarice. �Hey, you�ve got something on your pants. Looks like a bug.�
Tabris: �What the�� Tabris steps back as several more black spiders skitter off into the space between bulkheads.
Clarice looks down at her pants....
Vin_Da_DM: The black spider on Clarice�s pants skitters around, making it�s way up her leg.
Clarice concentrates on freezing the bug...
Luna_Faline: �Where are we going?� I ask the dog, somehow expecting it to answer me.
Vin_Da_DM: Clarice�s ice manages to freeze the spider, it slides off her pants and lands against the floor shattering. The pieces melt quickly and turn into six more spiders that quickly skitter away.
Claron sits on the bed watching Tabris do the spider dodging dance.
Vin_Da_DM: Zach stands up and looks around, �Looks like we�ve got a bug problem.�
^Vincent^ extracts his blades as he follows Midnight.
Clarice looks at Zach, �Oops, don�t think that was a good idea!�
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight pauses at the door to one of the other cargo bays, growling.
^Vincent^: �I think we�re here. Wanna go in, kitty?�
Luna_Faline looks thru the window in the door to see what might be in this cargo bay.
Vin_Da_DM: ~It is your choice in the end...but she is darkness and she will attempt to corrupt you again.~ Stryder places his hand on Clarissa�s shoulder.
^Vincent^ steps up to the door with his blades drawn and pushes the door.
Clarissa: ~Stryder, there�s something more on this ship.~
Vin_Da_DM: The door parts easily enough and Midnight dashes inside sniffing around as Luna and Vincent hear skittering from all over the bay.
Vin_Da_DM: ~Is there?�Wait, I sense it now.~ Stryder steps back and nods, �He�s coming��
^Vincent^: �Umm, this can�t be good. Luna remember� don�t kill them they will just multiply.�
Luna_Faline: �I don�t like the sound of that,� I whisper, backing away from the door.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight backs up towards the hallway growling intently.
^Vincent^ steps in after Midnight, �We gotta get the poor pup.�
Vin_Da_DM: Inside the cargo bay the black spiders are selectively killing each other, producing more and more with every passing second.
Clarissa steps back along with Stryder.
^Vincent^: �Alexei, can you empty the contents of this cargo bay?�
Luna_Faline closes the door as Midnight comes into the hall.
Vin_Da_DM: Vincent doesn�t even get a sound from the com this time, only dead air after it�s initial activation.
^Vincent^: �Hello?? Hello? Damn, it�s dead again.�
Luna_Faline: �Ettik? Eject everything in there.�
Clarice looks back at Zach, �Why do I have a feeling that you brought more than just this orb back with you?�
Vin_Da_DM: The lights in the hallway above Luna pulse for a moment as a static-y holo-screen pops up on the bay door, �Bay door malfunction, repair bots dispatched.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I didn�t bring anything back...sonuva bitch. That must not have been regular weapons fire they hit my ship with!� Zach curses and he looks at Clarice.
Luna_Faline growls, �Hurry up already,� waiting for the repair bots.
Clarice: �Oh...fuck me running... �
^Vincent^ looks into the door.
Vin_Da_DM: Just inside the cargo bay Luna and Vincent hear the metallic clicking of Ettik�s crab-bots followed by several unhealthy sounding scrapes and clangs.
^Vincent^: �Luna, I have no clue on what to do here.�
^Vincent^: �Can Alexei eject the cargo bay from the bridge?�
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight continues to growl at the cargo bay doors.
Luna_Faline: �I don�t know, maybe.�
^Vincent^: �Luna, I think you should run up to the bridge and tell him, you�re a lot faster than I am�I�ll stay here just in case.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�d better go check my ship and see what it was that hit it,� Zach grabs the case and heads for the galley lift.
Luna_Faline looks down at the sai in my paw, sighing, �I guess I can find out real fast what this can do, of course it might be the last thing I find out.�
Tabris: �Damn bugs...they�re gone now,� Tabris moves back over to Claron and grins, �Now...where were we?�
^Vincent^: �Go ahead and try it, kitty�but before ya do�I just wanna say you have a nice ass.�
Claron giggles as she pulls Tabris closer to her.
^Vincent^ opens the door.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder shakes his head, �I will go help them deal with this.�
Clarissa nods her head then follows Stryder.
Vin_Da_DM: Inside the cargo bay the sparking remains of the crab bots lie near the door, in the center of the bay the black spiders have massed in a large pile.
Luna_Faline shakes my head at his comment and looks at the stone on the hilt, �Goddess, protect us,� I pray.
^Vincent^: �Shall I carve us a path?�
Vin_Da_DM: As Stryder walks ahead of Clarissa he draws a small dagger hidden in his belt, �I trust you know how to handle yourself, Sis?�
Tabris: �Ahh, yes�� Tabris smiles as he kisses Claron, �You sure she�ll be all right?�
Luna_Faline sticks the dagger in the floor of the cargo bay just inside the door, �Close it, close it,� I growl at Vincent.
Clarissa stops right behind Stryder, �I will act accordingly,� then takes off to catch back up with him.
^Vincent^ closes the door.
Vin_Da_DM: As the door closes it lowers the sound of the hum as it grows. A glow begins to shine from between the door cracks, then stops suddenly.
^Vincent^: �Umm, was it suppose to fizz out like that?�
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight barks at the cargo bay door sharply.
^Vincent^ cracks open the door a little and peeks in.
Luna_Faline: �I don�t have a clue.�
Vin_Da_DM: Luna�s sai comes sailing from the crack, impaling Vincent in the shoulder. Two large metal hands force the door open the rest of the way and Recluse looks at Luna and Vincent, �Did you really think your little glowing stick would work?�
^Vincent^: �DAMMMN,� staggers back a little and pulls out the sai.
Claron returns Tabris� kiss, �I pray she will be��
Luna_Faline grabs Vincent and pulls him toward me, away from Recluse, �Had to try, didn�t I?� Sending my healing to Vincent as I pull him away.
^Vincent^: �Here, Luna. This is yours.�
Vin_Da_DM: Recluse lifts his arm-mounted cannon and aims at Luna and Vincent.
Luna_Faline takes the weapon from Vincent, �Figures, you�d still be taking orders, doing everyone else�s work,� I growl at Recluse.
^Vincent^ looks at Recluse, �What you want�another hole in ya like last time,� jumps forwards shoves his blades into Recluse�s gut.
Vin_Da_DM: Recluse catches Vincent�s arm before it hits him, �Perhaps, I didn�t rip enough off last time!� Recluse pulls on Vincent�s arm tearing the metal limb off.
^Vincent^ falls back holding his bloody stump, �What is it with you and my hands? What? Ya don�t whack off enough or something�� falls to his ass holding the bloody stump.
Vin_Da_DM: �As you wish,� Recluse chuckles as the four clawed-cannons on his back unfold and aim at Vincent.
^Vincent^ looks up, �Ohh, shit!� Rolls out of the way.
Clarissa and Stryder appear just as Recluse aims his cannons at ^Vincent^.
Luna_Faline watches Recluse attack Vincent trying to spot Recluse�s weakness.
Vin_Da_DM: �Ahh, Recluse. I always wandered what it would be like to squash you,� Stryder grins as he holds his dagger up. �Luna...get that idiot out of here.�
^Vincent^: As ^Vincent^ dodges he takes off his belt and tightens it around his bloody stump.
Luna_Faline grabs Vincent again and drags him down the hall toward the med bay, �Come on.�
^Vincent^: �If I could give you the finger, I would,� murmurs to himself, �Snot nosed lil punk.�
Vin_Da_DM: Recluse�s claws retract to hover behind his back, having left several stab holes in the floor where Vincent used to be.
^Vincent^ looks at Luna, �I want to kick his ass.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Ahh, the �other� twins...bringing you in will be a bonus,� Recluse watches Clarissa and Stryder.
Luna_Faline: �Your gonna bleed to death before you get that chance,� I growl at Vincent.
Clarissa stands quietly back from Stryder, before she looks at Recluse.
^Vincent^ follows Luna.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder charges Recluse, shimmering mid-charge and re-appearing beside him tackling him onto the open floor of the cargo bay.
Clarissa softly says, �Then Mother Shaiya achieved what she intended��
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight quietly follows after Luna, Vincent�s metal and somewhat bloody stump held in his mouth.
^Vincent^ looks at Midnight, �Good doggy,� then the room starts to spin.
Luna_Faline gets Vincent to the med bay and helps him onto a table, �Lay down.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Of course. You were merely a test,� Recluse speaks to Clarissa, his translator pausing between sets of insectoid clicking.
^Vincent^ flops down on the table, �Your a very preee�� passes out.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight drops Vincent�s arm on the floor and looks up at Luna.
Luna_Faline reaches for the stump Midnight dropped, �I thought he�d never shut up,� I grumble as I quickly clean the stump and place it back on Vincent�s arm.
Clarissa looks back at Recluse, �And you weren�t?�
^Vincent^ let�s out a low pitched fart as he mumbles something about tacos.
Luna_Faline tries to heal it. Giving a sigh, �I can�t do anything for this metal thing,� as I look around the room.
Vin_Da_DM: Recluse tosses Stryder aside with ease as he stands up, �You know nothing, girl. You are weak and I kill you so Shaiya will be spared the burden!� All of Recluse�s cannons open fire on Clarissa.
Luna_Faline: �A little help here would be nice,� looking for the auto bots that usually come from nowhere.
Clarissa dodges quickly neo matrix style, dodging to and fro, back and forth, sideways trying to trip Recluse all up.
Vin_Da_DM: One of Ettik�s medical crab-bots crawls out from a panel near the floor, it skitters up the table and stands on Vincent's chest softly examining him.
Vin_Da_DM: It looks at Luna and chirps, a small hologram of Vincent�s bios displaying.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight hops up on his hind legs and sniffs at the crab-bot, ears perking as he looks at it.
Luna_Faline looks at Midnight, �We need to do something to help the kids.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Damn thugs wrecked my shi...what the hell happened to him,� Zach pauses in front of the open door to Med Bay looking at Vincent and the blood.
Luna_Faline turns to look at Zach, �You had company, now we have a major problem.�
Vin_Da_DM: �How big a problem?� Zach�s look turns serious.
Luna_Faline: �A very big, ugly problem, named Recluse.�
Clarice pops her head in medical around Zach, �Where are they?�
Vin_Da_DM: Clarissa manages to trip Recluse, who catches himself on one of his back-cannons. Twisting sideways he catches Clarissa mid-dodge, sending her against the bulkhead.
Luna_Faline: �Recluse is fighting the twins down at the cargo bays.�
Clarissa smacks the bulkhead hard, sliding town to the floor like a tossed rag doll.
Vin_Da_DM: �Cargo bays...got it,� Zach looks at Clarice and nods, �Let�s go help them.�
Clarice takes off toward the cargo bays.
Vin_Da_DM: �Clarissa!� Stryder yells as he shimmers around, landing on top of Recluse he begins to cut at one the back-cannons with his dagger.
Vin_Da_DM: �Foolish boy!� Recluse�s arm grabs Stryder by the leg and he swings him down towards the floor but Stryder shimmers at the last second.
Luna_Faline looks at the bot on top of Vincent then down at the dog, �I�m going back to help,� turning to run back down the hall.
Vin_Da_DM: Zach follows Clarice to the cargo bay.
Clarice sees Clarissa on the floor then notice Recluse
Vin_Da_DM: As Recluse manages to knock Stryder away again he turns towards Clarice, �So the rest of the family is coming to play!� He fires a few laser streams at her.
Vin_Da_DM: Zach tackles Clarice over as the streams sail into the wall behind them.
^Vincent^ eyes open a little bit, �Oww��
Clarice dodges concentrating on freezing his cannon holes solid.
Luna_Faline slides to a stop just before getting hit by the lasers. �Damn it,� I growl.
^Vincent^ looks at his stump, �Hum, and I don�t feel a thing.�
Clarice realizes she didn�t dodge but was tackled, �I could have handled that��
Vin_Da_DM: One of Recluse�s cannons freezes over, he hisses and a surge of laser energy overheats that cannon. The other three begin to fire randomly toward the hallway door
Vin_Da_DM: Zach smirks at Clarice, �The three large holes in the wall say otherwise,� Rolling off her he looks at Recluse, �So you must be the big problem.�
Luna_Faline points my claws at Recluse�s eyes and sends them flying towards him.
Vin_Da_DM: The crab on Vincent�s chest chirps at him before crawling off gently.
Clarice picks herself up, �Well, he ain�t exactly a lil problem.�
Vin_Da_DM: Recluse brings his arms to block and Luna�s claws sink into them, causing it to leak acid onto the floor.
^Vincent^ looks at his arm laying next to him, �Is there anyway I can get that put back on in a jiffy?�
Vin_Da_DM: Raising his hands Zach grins as two lightning balls form and he throws them at Recluse.
Luna_Faline: �Your a messy bastard,� I growl at him.
Clarice watches Zach then follows through with ice bolts�
Vin_Da_DM: The lightning absorbs into Recluse�s armor but the ice bolts hit him in the chest, causing more acid to spray out.
Vin_Da_DM: �Grraaa! You will not defeat me so easily!� Recluse rips the ice bolts out of his armor and tosses them aside as they melt.
^Vincent^: �Guess I gotta go help,� stands up and grabs his arm.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight grabs Vincent by the pant leg and pulls him back toward the Med Bay.
Clarice stands shaking her head, �At least you admit we will defeat you in the end.�
Vin_Da_DM: Zach looks at Luna and Clarice, �Distract him, I have an idea��
^Vincent^ sits back down on the table.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight sits down in front of Vincent and barks at him.
^Vincent^: �Okay, okay�I�ll stay.�
Clarice eyes Recluse.
Luna_Faline: �He�s too stupid to survive,� I growl.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder manages to get to his feet and makes his way over to Clarissa, �Sis? You ok?�
Luna_Faline draws my sai and waits for some chance to use it.
Clarice: �Nothing more than Shaiya�s pawn.�
Vin_Da_DM: Recluse chuckles and he presses several buttons on his arm, �We will see who survives this time.�
Luna_Faline nods, �She plays with her toys, then throws them away like last week�s trash. She could care less if you live or die.�
Clarissa stirs, her eyes flash open, �Stryder...he didn�t hurt you, did he?�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder rubs his lip and looks at the blood, �I�ll live��
^Vincent^ looks at Midnight and pats him again, �I�ll stay boy, but I think ya should go and check on them,� lays down.
Vin_Da_DM: Midnight barks again then disappears into the hallway.
Clarissa sits up then rubs the back of her head.
^Vincent^ starts to make shadow puppets with his severed arm
Vin_Da_DM: �The orb...hand it over or I will destroy you and your pathetic ship!� Recluse�s cannons begin to overcharge themselves as if for an explosion.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks over his shoulder at Recluse then grabs Clarissa and shimmers her into the hallway.
Clarice watches Recluse punching the buttons on his arm, �Then we all will die, including you Recluse.�
^Vincent^: �I wonder what is happening?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Death means nothing...I will be reborn again,� Recluse�s translator pauses as you hear some insect-like coughing.
Vin_Da_DM: �You want this orb so badly, so I�ll give it to you.� Zach steps forward into the cargo bay with the purple orb in his hand.
Clarice watches Zach approach then shifts her gaze back at Recluse.
Vin_Da_DM: Lifting the orb up Zach narrows his gaze, �Down came the rain�� The orb pulses and glows as a large wave shoots from it hitting Recluse and sending him and the wall of the cargo bay blasting into the wall of Ettik�s hyperspace tunnel.
Clarissa: �What you want to go and do that for? It was getting interesting in there!�
Vin_Da_DM: A force-field quickly fills the gap. Lowering the orb Zach smirks, �...and washed the spider out.�
Clarice starts laughing, �Well done, Zach.�
Vin_Da_DM: Turning Zach walks back over to the case and stick the orb back in it�s holder. Looking up he nods, �Sorry about the mess. I didn�t think that�d actually work.�
^Vincent^ looks at his arm and starts to sing, �I think I love you, but what am I so afraid of?�
Clarice: �Hmm, Gabe�s son.... chip off the old block.�
Vin_Da_DM: Dusting the case off Zach looks at the group, �Now hopefully the rest of the return to Dad�s place will be uneventful.�
Clarice: �F-ing spiders�sure do ruin a good buzz�.�
Vin_Da_DM: Standing up Stryder offers Clarissa his hand, �You sure you�re all right?�
Clarissa takes Stryder�s hand, �I think so��
Luna_Faline shakes my head and turns to go back to my room, thinking about how a nap is never enough.
^Vincent^ sits up, �Ettik, can you show me the way to the droid repair room again?�
Claron snuggles up closer to Tabris.
Vin_Da_DM: Several medical crab-bots show up in the med bay and look at Vincent. One takes the arm from him as the others begin to unfold surgical tools out of their claws.
^Vincent^: �Ahh, okay,� lays back down, Fix away friends.�
^Vincent^: �This time please don�t zap me in the nuts.�
Luna_Faline returning to my room I lay the sai on the altar this time. I pull my boots off and throw my cloak across the end of the bed. I crawl in and pull the blanket up, as I snuggle I look over at the rose.
Vin_Da_DM: Two of the crabs chitter to each other at Vincent�s reply as they go to work.
^Vincent^ closes his eyes and starts to sleep as the bots do their work.
Clarissa hugs Stryder, ~Always the protector.~
Luna_Faline falls asleep staring at the rose.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder smiles lightly, ~I hope this means you�ve made your choice...before it�s too late to choose.~
Vin_Da_DM: Though injured and scarred, the Warriors have thwarted Recluse with the help from Zach and the mysterious orb. Their journey is not yet over.
