Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: The Warriors engaged in battle with the Berserkers, giant monsters with the ability to mimic superhuman powers via contact with blood. Managing to defeat one only caused another to appear to replace it.
Vin_Da_DM: Luckily a blue colored Berserker named Molochean came to the Warriors aide. Molochean helped them by killing one of the Berserkers and opening a transit window which teleported them closer to RD�s sanctum.
Vin_Da_DM: Using some of Claron�s blood Molochean took on her powers temporarily to distract a battalion of cyborgs and spider bots guarding RD�s sanctum. Breaking into the sanctum the Warriors got a glimpse of RD�s �trophies�, the most recent belonging to their fellow ex-Warrior Vincent.
Vin_Da_DM: In the next room the Warriors found RD herself waiting for their arrival, and ready for battle.
Vin_Da_DM: *Time passed: None*
Vin_Da_DM: �Shall we?� RD grins and cracks her laser whip in the air. �You�ve made it so far, my lovely Warriors. With all that physical strain, your poor minds must be begging for their chance.�
Vin_Da_DM: Cracking her whip again a red pulse shoots across the room, quickly changing the surroundings from the domed bedroom to a large open area. A multi-story mansion looms before you showing its age on the worn fa�ade.
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
Vin_Da_DM: RD appears on roof and glances down at you, �Boo hoo, now you�re all down there. Come inside and find your way up, I promise I won�t go anywhere my little darlings.� The crack of her whip pierces the serene silence that follows her voice.
Katie sighs, �More walking. She�s trying to tire us out before the fight.�
DracBlue flies up spreading glitter around to find any of the invisible units that was in the room before.
Kyra nods, �And it�s working, too.�
Clarice glares up toward the roof, �Didn�t expect you�d make it simple.�
Luna_Faline growls and looks around what was the room. �These holograms can go on forever.�
DracBlue: �I could always just fly us up there.�
Luna_Faline walks over to the mansions wall and tests the exterior with my claws.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna�s claws drag along the stone bricks composing the lowest story.
Tabris: �She sure does like running the rats through the maze,� Tabris sighs as he looks ahead at the mansion.
Luna_Faline digs my claws into the stone and starts climbing up the side of the mansion.
DracBlue flies with Luna_Faline.
Vin_Da_DM: Reaching about halfway up the second story Luna and Drac hit an invisible barrier.
Claron nods her head in agreement with Tabris.
DracBlue cuts a door in the second story.
Cara stands behind the others silently observing them.
Katie shakes her head and heads up the stairs, with Kyra following.
Vin_Da_DM: RD giggles at Drac is physically thrown back as he jabs the wall, �Clever, but a little obvious. You�ll have to try harder than that,� leaning over she blows everyone a kiss. �Come inside, dears. I insist!!� Cracking her whip again she grins wide.
Luna_Faline growls as I hit a barrier, �That bitch,� crawls across the side of the building look and looks in the window.
Vin_Da_DM: The large front door of the mansion swings open and a similar red pulse reaches out and drags everyone inside forcibly, depositing you in the very dilapidated lobby. A staircase sits in front of you with a door at the top and two curving walkways disappearing behind railing.
Clarice shakes her head as she moves towards the entrance of the mansion.
DracBlue yells up, �Why so much trickery? Are you not confident enough to take us without you having to tire us first, you human?�
Vin_Da_DM: Two hallways flank the staircase disappearing further into the mansion. The lobby itself is old and doesn�t look like it�s been used in a very long time. Several old stains are splattered on the floor, no doubt from RD�s last �guests� here.
DracBlue rolls his eyes at the party, �Urg, humans.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I think she�ll stick with tiring us,� Syne smirks, �Well, at least you guys. I�m doing fine.�
Claron moves quietly beside Tabris into the lobby.
Vin_Da_DM: �Now which way�� Eclipse glances at the hallways then up at the staircase.
DracBlue: �I should be fine, too. I�ll just eat some thing here and there, and I�ll be just normal.�
Katie: �I�m taking the stairs. She�s up there somewhere.� Katie heads up the stairs.
DracBlue offers Cara an arm to imitate some human behavior he once saw.
Luna_Faline looks over at Drac, �Normal? That would be a novel concept.�
Vin_Da_DM: Meanwhile: Stryder, Guardian and Scorpus finish setting the last of their bombs. An alarm begins to blare at each of their locations and the red energy pulse surrounds them teleporting them into a darkened hallway somewhere inside the Mansion.
Cara shrugs her shoulder as she moves along inside behind the others.
Luna_Faline studies the floor as I step over the stains.
Tabris: �Well, if you�re going the stairs, we all should go that way.� Tabris looks around as he watches Katie go up the stairs.
Kyra trudges up behind Katie, �Are you sure this is a good idea?�
DracBlue gives Cara a look like �did I do something wrong�, does a whole body shrug and moves on.
Claron: �I agree, I don�t think we should get separated.�
Vin_Da_DM: Luna notices the floor is tiled intricately, someone took a very long time designing it. The stains are of varying color with some the familiar dark brown-red of human blood.
Katie turns, �One way or another, we have to face her. Might as well make our way to her now and get it over with, right?� She gives Tab a wary glance and picks up her pace again.
Clarice moves up the stairs behind Kyra.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�ve still got yer back, Kat.� Syne follows just behind Katie.
DracBlue walks behind the others keeping an eye on the back of the group.
Claron and Tabris follow after Syne.
Vin_Da_DM: �This place probably looked nice when it was new,� Eclipse comments as he steps over some debris on the floor.
Katie smiles at Syne. �And what a nice back it is, too, hmm?�
Kyra chokes on a giggle.
Luna_Faline looks over at Eclipse and shakes my head, �I really hate playing games with her.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Not as nice as the front, the back doesn�t have a face.� Syne sticks his tongue out at Kat as he follows her.
Cara moves slowly behind Claron and Tabris thinking to herself, �Nothing seems to stop them.�
Katie stumbles on a stair with a gasp.
Vin_Da_DM: At the top of the stairs is a wooden door with light shining through it�s glass parts. Two hallways flank the staircase on either side leading to different parts of the second floor.
DracBlue starts muttering to himself. �Now I will have to find out what humans do, how they do it and what the other purpose for this thing is too. God, what in the hell could it be?� Then he gasps, �Oh, my good god, where are my tubes?�
Katie gazes at the door, then looks down the halls to either side, �Hmm.�
Tabris: �Rats in a maze�� Tabris mutters as he notices Katie stopped at the top of the stairs.
Kyra looks down the hall to the left intently.
Luna_Faline stays close to Eclipse as we reach the top of the stairs, sniffing for a trail of RD. �Which way do you think?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse glances at the three directions, �Beats me��
Claron mumbles, �I don�t like any part of this...I certainly am not a lab rat.�
DracBlue: �I am definitely gunna have to talk to Guardian...this body is soo confusing.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Door, hallway, hallway,� Syne shrugs, �We can do the human thing, close our eyes, spin around and point.�
DracBlue pulls flowers out of midair to amuse himself, then starts eating the flowers.
Luna_Faline sighs, �I can�t even get a trail of her to help point the way.�
Katie notices the direction of Kyra�s gaze. �What is it?�
DracBlue takes a bite out of the wall to mark where they have been.
Vin_Da_DM: The wall tastes old and stale to Drac. Clearly not something appetizing.
Kyra shakes her head. �I dunno. I just��
Vin_Da_DM: �Just what?� Eclipse raises his brow at Kyra.
DracBlue pulls a canteen out of his robe and drinks from it.
Kyra: �I just feel compelled�� Kyra shakes her head again, �I�m sure it�s nothing.�
Clarice sees DracBlue take a bite out of the wall. �Guess that�s one way to do it.�
Luna_Faline looks to the left down the hall.
Vin_Da_DM: �If she�s gotta feelin�, it�s at least worth a look.� Syne says popping his knuckles.
DracBlue: �It tastes like there haven�t been people here in a long time.�
Tabris: �Duh...way to catch on, Furby.� Tabris shakes his head.
DracBlue slaps Tabris on the back of the head gently with a wing, �I am furry no longer.�
Tabris eyes Drac and then looks at the others. �So...which way we heading?�
Claron glances sideways at DracBlue, �Looks like we going left.�
Katie: �I agree. Let�s go, Kyra.� Katie heads down the hall to the left with Kyra shuffling along behind.
Luna_Faline shakes my head at Syne, �She would try to compel us to our deaths. How can we be sure who is compelling her?�
DracBlue takes a bite out of the wall every so often.
Vin_Da_DM: The hallway on the left is darker then the stairwell, lit only by cracks in the ceiling and walls letting in small streams of light. Several old wooden doors are spaced far enough apart to make decent sized rooms. The hallway curves right at the far end.
Kyra shivers and sighs, �Why do I feel like I just led us into a trap?�
DracBlue: �If only I had my speed. I could find where we needed to go for you and then come back. Oh well, I guess this size has its advantages, too.� Then flexes his wings.
Vin_Da_DM: �At least it�s dark enough to allow free use of my abilities,� Eclipse comments to Luna.
Clarice moves quietly and cautiously down the darkly lit hallway.
Tabris: �With RD, assume everything�s a trap and you�ll worry less.� Tabris replies to Kyra.
Katie grimaces, �The whole place is a trap, Lass. Don�t start second-guessing yourself or you�ll go mad. Believe me. I know.�
DracBlue stops when he gets to a door and gently opens it, looking in and closing it just as quietly.
Vin_Da_DM: Drac catches the glimpse of a bedroom, just as worn down as the rest of the mansion.
DracBlue: �Hey, look! A place for Eclipse and Luna to have fun in.�
Katie peers in the door as she passes, then blushes and keeps walking.
Vin_Da_DM: �Hardly the time for joking, pipsqueak.� Syne smacks Drac on the back of the head, �To the task at hand, Bub.�
Claron whispers as she and Tabris pass the rooms, �The beds would probably eat you up.�
Kyra looks in the bedroom, too. �I made out with the neighbor boy in an old house like this, once.�
Vin_Da_DM: �From the looks of it, they�d fall apart the instant someone touched �em.� Tabris whispers back to Claron.
DracBlue: �Ehh, I always joke, it lightens the mood. And why are you blushing, Katie?�
Claron nods her head slightly, �I wouldn�t doubt that��
Katie laughs, �Who hasn�t?�
Kyra opens a door at random, peeking in cautiously.
Vin_Da_DM: As the hallway turns sharply to the right you hear the soft creaking of flooring echoing down the hallways.
Luna_Faline nods to Eclipse, �Just be careful.�
DracBlue: �Urg, this place is not appetizing,� as he takes another bite out of the wall.
Vin_Da_DM: Kyra gets the lovely view of a study, old books gathering dust and cobwebs line shelves and several skeletons are lying on the floor near a fireplace, their skulls in the fireplace.
Cara glides quickly and quietly up behind Kyra as she opens one of the doors, �Boo!�
Kyra: �Goodness. The books must have been awfully boring to resort to that.� Kyra murmurs.
Kyra screams loudly, jumping.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne smirks at Cara and Kyra, then continues to follow Katie quietly.
Katie grabs her guns reflexively.
Luna_Faline hisses at Cara, �This is not the time for fun and games.�
DracBlue laughs wholeheartedly.
Katie: �That wasn�t funny, Cara!� Katie whispers loudly.
Cara smiles as she moves on past. Turning to look at Luna_Faline, �I thought�that�s precisely what it is all about.�
DracBlue passes Cara and says, �Nice.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Tempting to scout around, but considering RD I�d probably do something regrettable.� Eclipse says.
Katie holsters her guns once more, and puts a comforting arm around Kyra. �Shhh. It�s okay.�
Kyra pants, trembling.
Vin_Da_DM: The next hallway has doors to either side, clearly no longer running along the edge of this floor. Ahead is another door with light coming through it�s glass parts.
DracBlue falls behind the party again around the corner and then comes around the corner stringing emeralds onto a bracelet.
Clarice: �Shall we go into the light?� as she turns to the right.
Luna_Faline looks back the way we just came from.
DracBlue whistles a nameless tune.
Katie: �Boy, could we ever use one of Shinta�s ghosties right about now.� Katie says softly.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna notices nothing out of the ordinary save a fist sized spider dragging a cocoon behind it across the ceiling.
DracBlue catches up with Katie and says, �Hey, give me your hand.�
Katie raises a brow, but extends her left hand.
Luna_Faline looks at the spider and shivers, �Oh my goddess, that�s awfully big.�
DracBlue attaches the bracelet on it.
Claron overhears Kat�s comment, �Oh, good grief....can you imagine what mischief Remy could manage.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Looks harmless enough,� Eclipse glances over his shoulder at the spider.
Tabris: �Guess we�re heading for the light at the end of the hallway?� Tabris questions openly to the group.
Luna_Faline moves further away from the spider, �I hope your right.�
Claron shivers as she sees the spider, �Damn, disgusting things!�
DracBlue cuts off the spiders head just to be safe then retracts his claws.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne shakes his head, �That wasn�t necessary.�
DracBlue picks the spider up and starts eating it. �Sure it was. I�m hungry.�
Vin_Da_DM: The spider gives Drac a nice case of indigestion just moments after hitting his stomach.
Clarice: �And I thought Tewyn ate some strange things.�
Luna_Faline winks at Clarice, �How strange are you?�
DracBlue: �I sure hope we get to some water soon. I have to clean myself and I don�t think licking this body will do.��
Vin_Da_DM: �He�s like a goat with wings,� Syne leans over and whispers to Katie.
Katie laughs softly, �How true.�
Clarice chuckles lightly, �Strange enough, I reckon.�
DracBlue licks an arm and then spits, �Nope, no cleaning that way.�
Vin_Da_DM: Noticing the door ahead Eclipse nods, �I presume we�re going through the door?�
Kyra: �Might as well.� Kyra shrugs.
Cara shakes her head, �Strange lot...they are��
DracBlue: �Well, I was thinking so.�
Luna_Faline shakes my head at Eclipse, �Do we have a choice?�
Katie takes a look at the bracelet, �How lovely. Thank you, Drac.�
Vin_Da_DM: Elsewhere: Continuing down the hallway Stryder looks back at the two robots behind him, �Any idea where the hell we are, guys?�
DracBlue: �Your very welcome,� shrugs, �You did say emeralds, right?�
Kyra looks at the door. �Shall we?�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian shakes his head, �In a large structure, beyond that I can determine little.�
Claron: �Sure...why not.�
Tabris: �Might as well,� Tabris shrugs resting his obsidian blade flat against his shoulder.
Katie: �Yes. I love emeralds.� Katie turns to Kyra. �Guess we might as well get on with it.� She grabs the knob.
Luna_Faline pauses outside the door with the others, waiting anxiously.
DracBlue asks, �Cara what kind of gems do you like?�
Katie takes a deep breath and turns the knob slowly.
Cara looks at DracBlue, �Never gave it any thought.�
Vin_Da_DM: The door creaks as it opens, the light getting brighter as it opens in a large glass enclosed greenhouse.
DracBlue: �Well think about it for me, will you?� and gives his first smile in human form.
Katie gasps appreciatively.
Clarice�s eyes widen as the door reveals the greenhouse, �This must have been beautiful once.�
Claron glances around the greenhouse as she and Tabris move inside.
Vin_Da_DM: �A wild beauty still,� Eclipse comments noticing the overgrown plants and trees whose branches are flush against the glass, even breaking through it in some spots.
Clarice: �Yes...wild beauty indeed.�
DracBlue: �Would you guys go in so I can see, geesh!�
Katie steps through the door, �It�s gorgeous.�
Luna_Faline remembers a greenhouse in the distant past that was also beautiful and very deadly.
Vin_Da_DM :Syne walks over to one of the trees and looks at it and around it�s base, �Seems water is still flowing around here, at least.�
Luna_Faline watches the plants carefully as I walk thru the greenhouse. �Don�t get to comfortable in here. Plants can be deadly.�
DracBlue: �At least they taste better than spiders,� and smirks.
Vin_Da_DM: Across the green house the sound of rustling plants can be heard. Luna and Eclipse notice the sounds are moving.
Katie sits on a flowerbox and gazes around, enraptured.
DracBlue picks a flower puts it in plain sight and makes it disappear for Katie.
Luna_Faline looks around at the plants trying to see which ones are moving, �Eclipse?� purring softly.
Vin_Da_DM: Katie notices some of the flowers rustle as a small beetle attempts to remove one of the petals.
Kyra wanders around the greenhouse, looking curiously at some of the plants.
Katie: �Ugh. Bugs.� Katie wrinkles her nose.
Claron remembers a rose garden.
Vin_Da_DM; Eclipse nods, �I hear it.� He moves his gaze to follow the sound.
Vin_Da_DM: The beetle disappears quickly as something small and furry snatches it and disappears up into a nearby tree.
Katie leaps up, startled. �What the hell?�
DracBlue�s eyes sharpen.
DracBlue starts chattering in his tongue.
Luna_Faline looks around for a way out of this room, �We really need to move on.�
Katie nods, �I�m ready.�
DracBlue: �I wouldn�t move until I figure out if there�s a Quickling in here if I were you.�
Vin_Da_DM: Something resembling an white mouse perks it�s head out of a hole in the tree as it munches on the upper half of the beetle.
DracBlue sighs. �Never mind.�
Katie gags.
Kyra turns to look, �Oh look. Isn�t it cute?�
Cara: �Looks more like a hungry mouse to me.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse tilts his head, �That wasn�t the thing making the noises, Luna�� Shifting his gaze Eclipse notices something flash, �Gunfire!�
Vin_Da_DM: Sure enough a stream of bullets sink into the wall nearby, sending the small furry mouse scurrying off.
Katie frowns, �I wouldn�t trust cute things anymore. They�re just as likely to take your finger off.�
Claron�s eyes dart off to focus on where the gunfire came from.
DracBlue looks in the direction of the gunfire and flies up instinctively.
Luna_Faline ears twitch hearing the bullets whiz by. �Oh, hell,� ducking quickly behind the tree.
Katie ducks, whipping out her pistols.
Cara darts behind a tree.
Vin_Da_DM: Meanwhile: Stryder lowers his gun and peaks out over the stone planter, �Missed...they�re on to us now.�
Clarice ducks, then peeks her head up cautiously.
DracBlue plucks a dart like feather from his wing pokes his finger and throws the feather making it fly into where the gun fire came from.
Katie crawls between the plants, making her way toward the firing.
Cara startles for a second, �Could almost swear I heard Stryder�s voice,� she says to no one in particular.
Luna_Faline looks for the source of the gun fire, and moves swiftly towards staying close to the ground.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder rolls out from behind the planter aiming his gun again. However; to the others it appears to be a cyborg aiming it�s gun.
Vin_Da_DM: Two more move out from behind a nearby wall, both taking aim with rifles.
DracBlue chatters more loudly so that the whole room can hear chattering, �Geesh, nice aim, jackass. Kill an innocent mouse. Geesh, if I were still a Quickling�I would so be kicking your ass.�
Claron yells out, �Over by the planter...you see that?�
Luna_Faline sniffs the air as I move along toward the other side of the garden.
DracBlue dive bombs the man, swiping at his weapon.
Vin_Da_DM: �I see it,� Syne presses his back up against an archway and looks out. �Wish I hadn�t ditched my gun��
Katie: �Stryder�s still back setting the explosives.� Katie yells over her shoulder.
Vin_Da_DM: To Drac the cyborg rolls out of the way and looses some rounds with it�s gun, followed by the cyborg screeching electronically. To Stryder the flying creature narrowly hits him with claws, �What the hell��
Claron: �WE can�t be certain though��
Vin_Da_DM: Scorpus discharges his large rifle to where Katie is hiding, the laser bolts burning holes into the ground.
DracBlue starts rubbing his claws together and creates sparks at the cyborg that he missed.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna notices mixed senses in the greenhouse. The plants are the strongest smells, followed by the group and three strange scents.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian slides to the side, moving his gun aside and stabbing at the monster (Drac) with his spear.
Luna_Faline draws my sai and holds it tightly as I try to sort out the smells.
DracBlue flies up still creating the sparks but changing targets to the one with the spear and while he is dodging takes a bite out of the spear.
Vin_Da_DM: �Damn it�� Stryder rolls backwards to avoid the sparks, eventually rolling behind another tall planter.
Katie rolls to the side quickly.
Vin_Da_DM: Scorpus charges forward flipping over several planters. Coming up behind one of the monsters (Kyra) he points his gun at her. �Don�t move��
Luna_Faline sees the cyborg with Kyra and throws my sai at his back.
Vin_Da_DM: The sparks hit Guardian and disperse across his armor. The spear begins to rebuild itself as he brings it around in a swing, catching Drac in the leg.
Kyra freezes, her look panicked.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna�s sai sinks into Scorpus back with a white flash. Slumping to the side he drops his rifle as the back part of his torso begins smoking.
DracBlue uses the momentum of it catching it in his leg to chop at the cyborg that hit him and takes a bite out of it. While he�s doing that, healing his own leg.
Katie focuses on the cyborg aiming at Kyra, trying to crush it inward.
Cara peeks her head out from behind one of the trees, her eyes locking in on Kyra. ~Go ahead...move...I dare ya.~
Luna_Faline recalls the sai quickly, �Run, Kyra!�
Kyra scrambles away, tripping over a planter.
Vin_Da_DM: �Sonuva bitch...they got the big guy!� Stryder shouts out as he jumps up from behind his hiding spot and shoots several shots towards one of the monsters (Luna).
Vin_Da_DM: Scorpus begins sparking and his torso chassis explodes, sending shrapnel sinking into the trees, planters and walls. To everyone else the cyborg illusion fades from it, leaving the smoking debris of the robot.
Luna_Faline rolls out of the way of the shots just in time.
Claron catches sight of the one shooting at Luna, concentrating on manipulating his gravity and causes him to be knocked backwards.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian shakes his head as his spear is bitten in half by the (Drac) monster. Reaching out he grabs the monster�s arm around the elbow and bends it the unhealthy direction with a loud snap.
Kyra gets up and crabwalks farther away from the fighting.
Luna_Faline recognizes the remains of Scorpus, �Oh, Goddess! Don�t hurt them, it may be Stryder and Guardian.�
Clarice grimaces a she hears a very distinct �snap�.
Katie stands, looking confused. �Huh?�
DracBlue: �You bastard!� Pulls his arm free. Resetting it and healing from the spear he ate.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder flies back into the wall and grunts, standing back up he grabs his dagger and tosses it toward Katie, catching her in the shoulder.
Claron�s eyes widen as she hears her son�s name, �Stryder?�
DracBlue flies up further out of reach flipping the robot off while he heals.
Luna_Faline look around for Eclipse, �Can�t your shadows hold them?�
Katie gasps and is spun around.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�ll try�� Eclipse buries his hand into the shadows on the ground as he begins forming tentacles near Guardian and Stryder.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne notices Katie being hit and growls, �Bastards!� Moving from his spot he tackles the cyborg (Guardian) to the ground.
Kyra sees Katie get hit. �Katie!� She screams.
Katie: �Och, ye feckin bastard!� Katie grunts, pulling out the dagger and throwing it back left-handed (and very badly).
Luna_Faline nods as Eclipse starts working on it. Turns at Kyra�s scream and runs to Katie, �Hang on,� placing my paw over her wound as she pulls out the dagger.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder notices the dark spot forming by his feet and dashes out of the way. Drawing his second pistol he aims at both Claron and Clarice firing.
Vin_Da_DM: Katie�s throwing is less than fantastic as the dagger sails a few feet and slides along the grassy floor.
Katie grimaces, �Again, many thanks, Kitty. Seems yer always savin� my ass.�
DracBlue notices the smoking body of the robot. �Hey, that wasn�t a robot before.� Uses his party tricks to try to reveal illusions from the room.
Kyra stands up, and causes a gust to knock the cyborg (Stryder) to the floor, immobilizing him.
Luna_Faline nods at Katie, �That�s what I�m here for.� Looks around for the source of the hologram.
Cara ducks back behind her tree.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse�s tentacles wrap around the cyborg (Guardian) as Syne rolls off him and gets to his feet.
Kyra ducks and dodges around planters, making her way back to check on Katie.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder grunts and shimmers himself. Reappearing behind another monster (Cara) he aims both guns at her.
DracBlue cuts a branch above Stryder and watches it fall on him
Cara jerks her head back over her shoulder as she hears the grunt.
Katie: �Oh no, ya don�t.� Katie grunts, shooting at the cyborg (Stryder).
Luna_Faline growls and plunges the sai into the ground in frustration.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder avoids the branch but catches Katie�s shots in the leg and stomach. Falling back against a wall he slides down, the illusion fading away on him as he clutches his stomach.
Katie�s eyes widen, �Oh Goddess nooooooooooooo, laddieeeeeeeeee!� She runs to Stryder�s side.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna�s sai sends a silent shockwave across the ground which hits something cloaked in the corner. Two glowing eyes open and stare at Luna.
Katie: �Lunaaaaaaaaaa, help!� Katie cries loudly, cradling Stryder in her lap.
Claron screams as she sees Stryder�s face and runs towards him.
Luna_Faline looks up and sees Stryder go down, I draw the sai out. �I told you not to hurt them!� running to him.
Katie cries harder, �Laddie, I�m so sorry. I dinnae know t�was you.� She rocks back and forth.
DracBlue sees the shockwave hit the corner and releases some glitter in that direction
Cara stands staring at the others.
Luna_Faline places my paws over Stryder�s wounds as I feel the eyes on me.
Katie: �But�he was gonna shoot Cara�� she says brokenly, �I had to protect her.�
Vin_Da_DM: The eyes follow Luna as the large pulse of a cannon on the creature�s back powers up. Some of Drac�s glitter rests on the giant cyber dog, but the cannon on it�s back melts most of it. Growling, it looses a wide beam towards Luna and company.
DracBlue dive bombs the dog, implanting his claws into where the head should be.
Katie shields Stryder as best she can, flattening them both on the floor.
Luna_Faline shakes my head as I see the cannon. �ECLIPSE!� I scream.
Clarice: �You didn�t have to help her.�
Tabris: �Down!!!� Tabris tackles Claron to the ground as the beam burns a basketball sized hole through the wall.
Claron ducks down.
Luna_Faline throws my sai at the cyber dog as I go to the floor.
Katie: �Forgive me, laddie.� Katie continues to sob.
Cara�s eyes widen as she ducks to the floor.
Vin_Da_DM: The head turns under Drac�s blades to look at him. The cannon on it�s back swivels towards Drac and fires again.
Claron gasps as she realizes she was propelled into her duck, �Damn, Tab!�
DracBlue dodges the beam and continues down and swivels and swipes at the dogs head.
Katie: �Yes, I did. She�s one of our own, now. And we protect our own.� Katie looks up at Cara, then drags Stryder behind another planter. �Wake up, you handsome lad. Your mother will have my head if you don�t.�
DracBlue then takes off into the air seeing a glint of metal.
Katie smoothes the hair out of Stryder�s eyes as Kyra crawls over with a gasp.
Luna_Faline crawls after Katie and Stryder and puts my paws on him again. �Come on, Stryder, you have to wake up.�
Kyra: �What did you do?� Kyra wails, grabbing Stryder�s hand and pressing it to her cheek.
Cara looks back at Katie, then turns her gaze upon Stryder. ~I did hear you then.~
Vin_Da_DM: Luna�s sai misses Drac and sinks into the cloaked cyber dog. The resulting explosion sends out a white energy wave that strikes Drac, sending him cascading into the floor like a bad diver, and coating that section of greenhouse in a lovely shade of puke orange.
Kyra watches Stryder�s face anxiously as Luna heals him. �He�s gotta be okay. He�s gotta be.�
Vin_Da_DM: The illusion fades away from the Guardian after the cyber dog�s explosion. Struggling against the vines he sighs.
Katie grimaces, �No thanks to me.�
DracBlue wipes himself off and walks over to the group.
DracBlue looks at one of his wings and gasps noticing it is broken.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder coughs a bit then looks around, �Ow��
Luna_Faline looks around for Eclipse and Guardian as I continue to heal Stryder.
DracBlue sits down and cries.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks up noticing the Guardian and quickly removes his hand from the shadows. The tentacles dissolve, �Sorry about that��
Luna_Faline releases Stryder and moves over to Drac. �I�m almost afraid to touch you after what happened last time,� holding my paw out to him cautiously.
Tabris glances over at Stryder with concern, �Is he all right?�
Katie: �Laddie!?!� Katie gets up and moves away, tears still streaming. She backs up against a planter and just watches, her heart breaking. �I�m so, so sorry.� She whispers. �How can you ever forgive me?�
Claron props herself up on her elbows and looks around, �I saw Stryder...least I thought I did before you tackled me.�
DracBlue: �I won�t change anymore.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne crouches over the debris of Scorpus, �Well, damn...we got one of the good guys.�
Kyra moves back as well, watching Stryder to make sure he�s alright.
DracBlue puts his face in his hands finally realizing he is stuck as a human and sobs for a different reason.
Luna_Faline slowly puts my paw on Drac�s broken wing and tries to heal it.
Vin_Da_DM: On one of the walls a door that was previously hidden also loses it�s illusion.
Claron groans as Katie�s words sink into her brain, �What did you do to my son?�
Vin_Da_DM: �By the way...nice shooting.� Stryder grunts as he struggles to his feet.
Katie closes her eyes, �I shot him, Claron. Me. It was MY fault. The illusion�� she bites her lip.
Luna_Faline pats Drac on the head, �It�ll be alright, you get used to it after a few millennium.�
DracBlue continues to sob.
Claron gazes at Tabris and then moves closer towards Stryder.
Tabris moves over to Stryder and helps him to his feet, looking over at Katie his face shows mixed emotions.
Katie stares at her hands, �Full circle. The sins of the father�� she whispers to herself.
Claron gently strokes the side of Stryder�s face with the back of her hand.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne grabs Scorpus tri-barreled rifle and shoulders it. Moving over to Katie he rests a hand on her shoulder, �Come on, Kat. We�ve gotta keep movin�.�
Luna_Faline looks around the garden and holds out my other paw drawing my sai back to me. �Syne, that was my fault. I got him with my sai.�
Katie looks forlornly up at Syne, �So go. I�m not fit company, it seems.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Sorry...all I could see were ugly things.� Stryder rubs his stomach, �Healed, but still hurts.�
DracBlue looks up and says, �You can if you want.�
DracBlue notices the wing is already healed and says, �Wow, you can heal.�
Vin_Da_DM: �The hell you are�� Syne move his hand and brushes strands of black from Katie�s face. �You�re coming with us, even if I have to sling you over my shoulder like a sack o� potatoes.�
Claron hugs Stryder gently, �We saw cyborgs,� she whispers in his ear.
Katie gives Syne a broken smile, �Yes, master.�
Clarice chuckles. �She might enjoy the view sober this time,� chortles.
DracBlue stands up tears flowing but he moves towards the door and notices Guardian turns and walks over to him, �How did you get in here?� he asks confused.
Vin_Da_DM: �Don�t be like that, wasn�t your fault, Kat.� Syne looks at her concerned.
Luna_Faline removes my paw, �Your welcome.�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian dusts himself off and picks up his spear. Contact with the Guardian causes the broken weapon to begin repairing itself, �I could ask you the same question. But we are all here, so I suggest we move on.�
Katie nods slowly, �But�I�ll never get the image of his blood out of my mind.� She grins and blushes at Clarice�s comment.
DracBlue: �Well, I am the �Furby� as Tewyn called me anyway,� he says with a sigh.
Luna_Faline looks around at the rest of the group, �Is anyone else hurt?�
Vin_Da_DM: �That may be true, but you can�t dwell on it forever. We�ve got cyborg ass to kick and a station to blow up.� Syne smiles at Katie trying to cheer her up some, �And if your a good girl, maybe I�ll give you a treat.� He winks.
Kyra has a swollen wrist where she fell on it, but is otherwise unharmed.
Tabris: �We�re good," Tabris says looking over Claron and Stryder.
Clarice; �I�m fine, too.�
Katie: �A treat, huh?� Katie�s eyes sparkle a little, �Well, if you think you can FIND some 100 year old Scotch��
Vin_Da_DM: �No injuries here,� Eclipse says as he eyes the door, �I think we�ve found our exit.�
DracBlue walks back towards the group and asks Cara, �Are you alright?�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian walks over to what is left of Scorpus and grabs a small black device. Tucking it inside his chassis he slides his spear on his back and grabs his rifle. �Is everyone ready to continue?�
Luna_Faline moves toward the door, �Let�s get out of here while we can.�
Cara nods her head, �Yes, perfectly�� her eyes watching the DuVallis family.
Katie rises to her feet slowly, her eyes straying guiltily to Stryder.
Vin_Da_DM: �Scotch, eh�� Syne mutters to himself as he heads for the doorway.
DracBlue peers at what Cara is seeing and says very quietly, �You know they seem like they are very nice people even though they do dangerous work. And I�m sorry if I hit you with that branch. I was trying to help, but I was healing.�
Claron�s eyes lock on to Katie.
Katie can�t meet Claron�s eyes.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder notices Claron look at Katie and turns to look at her. ~It�s ok. I forgive you, Katie. ~
Katie: Startled, Katie�s gaze flies to Stryder, �I�m still sorry,� she mouths to him.
Claron notices Kat can�t look her in the eyes, �Lucky the shot wasn�t fatal��
DracBlue walks over to the door carves a peep hole out and looks through.
Katie hangs her head, �I didn�t know, Claron. I never would have�� she trails off.
Vin_Da_DM: Joining Luna at the door Eclipse looks at Drac. �Just open it��
DracBlue opens the door.
Claron nods her head, �I know you never would��
Vin_Da_DM: Beyond the door is a ramp leading up to another open air section. The ramp and what it leads up to resemble alleyways.
Kyra walks up, cradling her left wrist to her. It�s swollen twice it�s normal size. �I�m sorry I yelled at you,� she mutters.
Katie nods, �It�s okay. I understand, Lass.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse trudges up the ramp carefully.
DracBlue mutters to himself, �I can see why Cara is so reluctant to trust these people. They don�t even thank you for things you do to help. They must not like thanking others .��
Claron moves up the ramp, the DuVallis men each flanking one of her sides.
Vin_Da_DM: �Saving the world on a daily basis quickly runs out of �thanks�, Furby.� Syne comments to Drac as he passes him.
DracBlue says in a low demonic voice, �Well, at least I still have my manners.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m not into real estate,� Syne mimics Drac�s demonic voice with his own.
Luna_Faline takes a deep breath as I move the sai to my other paw. Following Eclipse up the ramp.
Clarice laughs as she hears Syne�s joke.
Cara walks up the ramp behind the others.
Katie looks at Kyra�s wrist. �I think you broke it, Dearling.� She says as they walk through the door and up the ramp.
Vin_Da_DM: As you reach the main part of this �back alley� of the house�s third floor, you notice an open air garden like area ahead, an alcove to the left and a ruined section of the mansion to the right.
DracBlue falls back and in a whisper he says to Luna, �Thank you, I was just a little distraught at the moment.�
Luna_Faline nods to Drac, �That�s alright, I understand transformation takes some getting used to.�
DracBlue then flies up into the sky. As he is flying he lets his tears flow freely.
Vin_Da_DM: Drac is able to fly up as high as the top of the arch ahead before hitting the invisible ceiling again.
DracBlue flies back down cursing, but walks behind the group.
Kyra shrugs, �Probably.�
Luna_Faline ears twitch and I look back at Katie and Kyra, �Did you say broke it?� Stopping to wait for them to catch up with me.
Vin_Da_DM: �Looks like going straight is the best choice,� Guardian points out as his take his place near the middle of the group.
Vin_Da_DM: Ahead from the open air garden you hear some giggling.
Katie nods. �Look at her wrist. Tis the size of a grapefruit.�
DracBlue: �Oh my god, I figured out the other use for this thing�it gets hard. I wonder if its a weapon?�
Luna_Faline as the girls reach me I hold out my paw for Kyra�s arm, �Let me see that.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Point that thing somewhere else�� Stryder rolls his eyes at Drac, then looks ahead toward the garden.
Katie gapes at Drac. �Some use it as such.� She smirks, winking at Syne.
DracBlue: �Well then, where is the sheath.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse tilts his head, �Did you guys hear that?�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian nods, �Humanoid voices...a bit odd for a place like this.�
DracBlue: �Ya, I hear it,� frowns in confusion.
Katie listens.
Claron hears the giggling.
Kyra places her hand in Luna�s paw.
Vin_Da_DM: As you continue towards the garden the sound of laughter and giggling continues.
Luna_Faline takes Kyra�s wrist gently and straightens it out as I heal it. �There, good as new.�
Cara wonders who, what and why there is laughter and giggling in a place like this.
Kyra: �Thank you.� Kyra says quietly, listening to the laughter.
DracBlue grabs a shiny pebble and holds it and says, �Well, at least there is something I can keep.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne slings the tri-barreled rifle from his shoulder to his hands, �Somebody�s having fun, and it�s not us��
Luna_Faline ears twitch around listening for the source of the giggling. I release Kyra�s wrist and catch up with Eclipse.
Kyra looks at Katie, �Ain�t like we didn�t wish it was us having fun.� She sighs.
DracBlue asks Guardian, �Why do humans have the thing around there mid-section that hangs and gets hard?�
Vin_Da_DM: Clearing the arch gives you a clear view of the gazebo tucked in the middle of the open-air garden. A large half-circle of wall defines the edge of the garden and the building as far as this area is concerned.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian looks at Drac for a moment, then says simply, �Reproduction.� Then continues on his way forward.
Claron sees the gazebo, yet her eyes search out for the laughter.
DracBlue: �So that�s what happened to my tubes.�
DracBlue: �They moved to there�hmm, weird.�
Vin_Da_DM: Flowering pink trees drop petals around the stone gazebo. The laughter is coming from a set of children playing around the inside, dragging behind them what appear to be red streamers.
Katie takes in the gazebo, �Pretty.�
DracBlue: �Well, I can see why they were hesitant to talk about it,� and wonders some more.
Tabris: �Kids in a place like this...what�s wrong with this picture.� Tabris comments.
Katie: �Exactly.� Katie murmurs.
Kyra nods, looking thoughtful.
Claron: �I can�t say I have ever pictured RD as maternal.�
Luna_Faline looks closer at the children.
DracBlue: �Hmmmm, I have the urge to dance�this is like the shrine near my village.�
Vin_Da_DM: Upon closer inspection the kids are two girls, if you could call them that under their cybernetics. And their red streamers are actually intestines. The two stop playing and look at you, as one they let out a shrilling electronic noise.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse covers his ears from the noise.
Luna_Faline grabs my ears at the high pitch.
Katie winces and puts her hands over her ears. Kyra follows suit.
DracBlue just flies up covering his ears.
Claron covers her ears.
Vin_Da_DM: �Gah...that�s loud." Stryder shields his ears. Then lowers his hands as the kids stop. A low hum sounds from several directions around you.
Cara wonders where the intestines came from.
Vin_Da_DM: �I think we might want to...move.� Syne glances around.
Luna_Faline growls and spins around looking for the source of the hums.
Vin_Da_DM: Almost six sets of glowing eyes open up just moments before six glowing beams shoot out from beams above their heads towards you.
DracBlue dodges out of the way shooting balls of smoke at some of the creatures.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian drops his gun and extends both hands forward blocking at least two of the beams.
Clarice concentrates on freezing the beams.
Claron dodges away from the beams.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse grabs Luna on the arm and pulls her out of the way as a beam burns into his leg.
Katie pushes Kyra out of the way, as a beam grazes her back.
Katie: �Oh fer bollocks� sake!� Katie hisses.
Katie lands on top of Kyra, her back smoking.
Vin_Da_DM: Clarice manages to popsicle one of the beams. It crashes against the ground and shatters. Drac�s smoke balls cause two of the six to pause. The other four begin to spread themselves out.
Cara ducks down behind Stryder.
Luna_Faline stumbles into Eclipse as he pulls me. Smelling his leg burning I reach down and cover it with my paw. �Damn it, I hate dogs.�
DracBlue snaps his head in Katie�s direction in recognition of the name.
Clarice turns her concentration to another beam when the first one shatters.
Tabris watches the beam narrowly avoids him, �Close��
Kyra wiggles out from under Katie. �This just ain�t your day, is it?�
Vin_Da_DM: The two girls giggle as they watch. One of the girls extends a hand sending the Guardian flying backward into one of the trees.
Luna_Faline looks back to where the kids were playing. �I want to rip RD into tiny pieces and disintegrate each one separately!�
Katie groans in response, her eyes rolling back.
DracBlue lands and rips up a small tree and throws it at one of the dogs, then flies towards the children swinging his claws.
Vin_Da_DM: The four roaming creatures charge up and fire again. One gets hit with the tree before it can fully fire, causing it to burn itself and the tree.
Luna_Faline lets go of Eclipse�s leg and throws my sai at a creature as they start to fire again.
Vin_Da_DM: Drac�s claws go right through the girls as if they weren't there. The second smiles at him then lifts her hand, causing shooting pain to fill him before he is thrown backwards into the ground.
Kyra drags Katie behind a tree, slapping her face gently.
Tabris: �Destroy those damn things!� Tabris shouts out as one of the beams grazes his shoulder.
Clarice instantly concentrates on one of the beams.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna�s sai is hit with a beam but glides through it, actually splitting the beam in half as it strikes one of the creatures causing a colorful explosion of chewy innards.
DracBlue: �Ow, bad kiddos your not suppose to do that!� Now in pain, uses his claws to rip out part of the building and throwing the bits with his strength towards the children; while throwing a ball of smoke on the ground dissolving into the smoke and slashing at the children again.
Vin_Da_DM: The building and claws go through the girls again. Drac�s section of building hits the gazebo and cracks it.
Luna_Faline runs from Eclipse to Katie as the creature explodes. �Katie, what happened now?� as I reach her side.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne manages to jump on top of one of the cloaked creatures as Clarice shatters it�s beam. Grabbing it�s cannon Syne aims it at one of the other creatures so it fires at it. The following beam slices it in half like cheese, with orange coloring to match.
Kyra turns Katie over to reveal a long burnt gash from one of the beams. Katie is still unconscious.
Luna_Faline runs my paws over her, finds the burn on her back and heals it quickly. DracBlue limps to an open area flies up out of sight of the children forcing the smoke on them
Vin_Da_DM: As the third one dies, one of the girls fades away. The other screams angrily and moves both her hands, causing half of the gazebo to take flight, break into nearly a dozen pieces and shoot towards everyone like darts.
Katie opens her eyes, �Dammit all to hell and back.� She struggles to her feet.
Luna_Faline looks over and sees my sai lying among the gooey remains I wave my paw, attempting to hit another creature with it.
Tabris creates a large obsidian rock and deflects two of the chunks heading for him.
DracBlue flies out of the way but gets hit on the back by another piece landing hard on the ground.
Luna_Faline ducks, covering Katie to keep debris from hitting her.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder manages to shimmer out of the way of the debris and closes in on one of the creatures, only to get coating in orange goo as Luna�s sai causes another organic firework.
DracBlue tries to get up and fails when he notices one of the rock pieces sticking out a wing and collapses there.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse gets knocked aside by some of the debris, taking the breath out of him.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne hops off his creature and smirks aiming the tri-barrel gun between it�s glowing eyes. �Good boy, now play dead.� Firing he laughs as the orange spray spatters him.
Cara groans as piece of the debris knocks the wind out of her and sends her down on her ass.
Katie struggles out from under Luna, her eyes blazing. �I�ve taken yer kind down before, and I'll do it again!� She focuses on the remaining dog, pulling it apart.
Vin_Da_DM: The little girl gets the look of pure hatred on her face, grabbing a sharp piece of gazebo with her apparent telekinetic powers she spears Syne. Looking down at the stone sticking through him Syne grits his teeth, �Sonuva�� before falling over.
Vin_Da_DM: The metallic parts of the dog are stubborn but eventually rip it apart, causing it to de-cloak, showing it to one of the large black cyber dogs of RD�s.
Luna_Faline sees Syne fall and runs over to him. �Syne?� looking at the stone in his chest.
Katie fires at the now de-cloaked dog, �This is for Rogue!� she screams, firing several shots into it.
Vin_Da_DM: �Get...this....damn....thing,� Syne growls in a vile sounding noise, �Out.�
Vin_Da_DM: Katie�s shots spatter holes in the already dead remains of the cyber dog.
Luna_Faline looks at Tabris and Eclipse, �I need some help.�
Vin_Da_DM: The second girl fades away, clearly one of the illusions created by the cyber dogs.
Katie rushes to Syne�s side.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian gets to his feet, reinserting his loosened arm into it�s socket.
Katie: �You can�t take me dancing like that, y�know.� She smiles tenderly.
Luna_Faline kneels next to Syne, �I can heal you but I can�t pull that out. Hang on.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse rushes over to Luna and Syne and looks at the large stone sticking from him.
Luna_Faline looks up at Eclipse and puts my paws on Syne�s chest around the wound.
Vin_Da_DM: �It�d be interesting�� Syne looks at Katie with a smile.
Katie smiles again "Yes, but it would be hell on my new dress."
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder joins Eclipse in pulling the stone out and moving it again. As it clears Syne�s body the hole begins to fill with metallic-green liquid. Syne looks up at Luna, "No need...just give me a few minutes to tidy up."
Claron steps closer to Luna and tries to help manipulate the gravity of the large stone and making it easier for Stryder and Eclipse to pull it out.
Luna_Faline keeps my paws on Syne chest anyway, �I want to make sure,� with a slight smile. �Your a mess, my friend.�
Katie looks over to Kyra, �You alright, kiddo?�
Tabris: Touching his shoulder, Tabris looks at the red on his hand. �Stupid cyber dogs��
Kyra nods, �Fine as can be. How�s your back?�
Katie: �It itches like a bitch. But I�m fine.� Katie looks back at Syne.
Luna_Faline looks up as Tabris speaks, �Oh my Goddess,� as I stand up and lay a paw on his shoulder. Looks over at Claron, �You alright?�
Claron: �I think so.�
Katie eyes Tab, then looks back at Syne.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, happens when you get pin-cushioned,� Syne says before shifting into a large blob of metallic green. Twisting he reforms into his dog form. Barking a bit he sighs, �Guess I�m stuck like this until I can regenerate more biomass.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder wipes off the orange goo on his body. Pulling something stringy off his leg he makes a sick face, �Gross.��
Katie runs a hand over her face, �There�s the Rogue we all know and love.� She says tiredly.
Clarice gets a smile on her face, �Reminds me of a dream,� as Syne becomes Midnight.
Luna_Faline sighs and sits down, �So, who�s next?� Looking around at the group for more injuries.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian flexes his arm to test it�s movement before looking around, �Everyone all right?�
Katie gives Clarice an odd look, then shakes her head and sits down on the step for a moment.
Vin_Da_DM: �Drac could use some help,� Eclipse points towards the downed Drac.
Luna_Faline holds my paw up for Eclipse to help me up. �I�m getting a little tired. I haven�t had to use my gift this much at once in a long time.�
Katie: �Shinta, you are missing all the fun.� Katie closes her eyes, �We could use your help.�
Clarice watches Katie sit on the step. �So you and I have had similar thoughts�� says in a low tone.
Vin_Da_DM: From above and behind you hear soft clapping, �Good show. You must stay for the encore, I hear it�s murder.� The chilling voice of Cain strikes the air like a harsh wind.
Katie looks up, �I�I have no idea what you mean.� She pales a little.
Vin_Da_DM: �Let�s give them front row seats, my dear.� RD�s voice accompanies him from the other side of the courtyard, followed by the familiar sound of her laser whip.
DracBlue wakes up to the voice, but can barely move and says, �Oh shit!�
Luna_Faline calls my sai to me and wipes the goo off it on the grass. �Your murder, for sure,� as I move over to Drac and heal his wing again.
Claron hears the sound of Cain�s voice, the feeling of hatred cursing thru her, �SHOW yourself!�
DracBlue feels the wing get better and feels the touch and says, �Thank you.�
Vin_Da_DM: Cain waves at Claron from his spot on the roof of the mansion across from the Gazebo, �Long time no see.�
Cara looks towards RD.
Tabris: �About time you showed up, you�re mine.� Tabris extends an obsidian blade towards Cain.
Claron glares as she sees Cain.
Vin_Da_DM: RD carefully steps along the top of the remaining half of the Gazebo. She blows a kiss towards Cara, �Miss your mommy, little girl? Oh, don�t cry. You�ll see her soon.�
Katie raises an eyebrow.
DracBlue: �You look tired, Kitty. Sorry to be a bother, but my back seems to be injured and I can�t move because of it,� sighs outwardly.
Cara: �I am shedding no tears.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse glances between Cain and RD.
DracBlue tries to move.
Luna_Faline helps Drac up as I growl at RD, �You�ll see her first.�
DracBlue: �Oh, never mind.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Hehe, that�s the spirited Avatar I know!� RD licks the hilt of her laser whip as she eyes Cara, �Oh, we can fix that.�
Clarice listens and avoids making eye contact with any of them.
DracBlue starts flapping his wings and extends his claws to the fullest extents he remains quiet for once.
Vin_Da_DM: Cain smirks at Tabris and Claron, �Proud parents. Where�s the girl? Oh that�s right...in hell!� He laughs as he draws a full length sword from his back.
DracBlue eyes start blazing white with hatred for someone he doesn�t even know.
Cara watches RD, �I have done nothing that warrants fixing.�
Luna_Faline feels strength returning as anger flows thru me. I hold the sai in my paw ready to throw it at the best time.
Katie stands up tiredly, �I�m getting a sense of deja-vu, all of a sudden.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder eyes Cain, �Hell is where you�ll be going��
Vin_Da_DM: RD cracks her whip, �Enough chit-chat. More action. Your move, beautiful Warriors.�
Luna_Faline begins to circle RD slowly. Watching her whip move.
Vin_Da_DM: Cain extends a hand toward Tabris and Stryder making the motion to �come on�.
Katie flips Raisha the bird, �Lick my toes, you crab infested eyesore.�
Claron stands watching Cain taunting Tabris and Stryder.
DracBlue: �That�s it, I am tired of this one. Lets see if you can handle this�� He starts taking chunks of the dogs around him into his mouth. Then wraps his wings around him and floating about a foot above the ground. He opens his wings shooting all of his feathers� out at once like a thousand daggers traveling like bullets towards RD and Cain. Then he swallows and the feathers begin to replace themselves.
Kyra calls up a wind, hoping to topple RD from her perch on the ruined gazebo.
DracBlue starts eating the dog corpses to finish replacing the feathers.
Vin_Da_DM: RD jumps off the gazebo and giggles as Drac�s feather's bounce off a shield protecting her body.
Claron concentrates intently on Cain. Slowly and steadily increasing her manipulation of his gravity.
Vin_Da_DM: Cain twirls his sword around deflecting the daggers with ease.
Katie focuses on the field around RD, trying to disrupt it.
Tabris narrows his gaze and charges Cain.
Luna_Faline sees RD is paying attention to Drac and Katie, I throw my sai at her back.
Vin_Da_DM: RD turns a gaze to Katie and shakes a finger at her, �Tsk, tsk�� Spinning her whip around she knocks Luna's sai away without looking at it.
Claron screams as Tabris charges Cain, �NO!!! Don�t!!!�
DracBlue finishes one of the dogs off. As his feathers grow back, he licks his lips and then smiles as his eyes turn from a white to a black and his claws start shaking. �What kind of person uses a shield. You wench, you are by no means noble. DIE.�
Luna_Faline dodges the whip as I recall the sai quickly.
Vin_Da_DM: Cain smirks as Claron�s gravity manipulation begins to collect near his sword�s blade. Swinging it gracefully, a shockwave flies out and hits Tab sending him flying into Claron.
DracBlue walks slowly towards RD waiting for the whip.
Cara watches the others.
Claron feels herself being tossed like a rag down onto the floor.
Vin_Da_DM: Shifting her gaze to Drac RD winks, �Foolish child.� Swinging her whip at him she watches it as it travels.
DracBlue grabs it with his claws trying to pull it out of her hands.
Vin_Da_DM: �Damn you!� Stryder shimmers as he charges Cain.
Cara watches Stryder shimmer out and the image of Cain replacing it.
Vin_Da_DM: Drac�s claws grab onto RD�s whip. With a grin she pulls another whip out of her torso, ignites it and swings cutting off one of his hands in the process.
Luna_Faline dives at RD�s shield with my sai in front of me as she fights with Drac.
Katie closes her eyes and concentrates harder, putting more of her flagging strength into ruining the field.
Vin_Da_DM: RD does a flip in place landing on Luna�s back crushing her into the ground before jumping off her and pulling her first whip free of Drac�s grip.
Luna_Faline hits the shield with my sai and rolls out of the way quickly.
DracBlue rolls grabbing the hand, then grabs a mouthful of stone and eats it. Places the hand back where it was and it heals back on. �God, that�s never gunna feel right again.�
Luna_Faline grabs RD�s ankle as she jumps off me, I yank her off balance as I roll away.
Vin_Da_DM: Cain grins at Stryder and swings at him as his shimmers. Stryder grunts in pain as he reappears behind Cain with a slash on his chest. Turning he sinks his knife into Cain�s side then pulls out and shimmers away.
Vin_Da_DM: RD wobbles a bit when she lands but is still grinning. Shifting an eye to Katie she blows a kiss, �Keep trying, my dear.� Twirling her two whips she slashes them at Katie.
Katie rolls out of the way as quickly as she can.
Tabris gets to his feet and offers a hand to Claron, holding his ribs with his other arm.
Luna_Faline lays on the ground catching my breath as I watch RD go after Katie.
Katie grabs a hunk of metal, magnetizing it and hurling it at RD.
Clarice concentrates on RD, waiting for a clear unobstructed blast at her.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse rises out of the shadows behind RD and smashes a bundled up group of tentacles against her. RD staggers sideways then it broadsided by Katie�s metal hunk. Hissing loudly she leaps upwards and hovers in the air looking down.
Claron takes Tabris� offered hand.
DracBlue sneaks up behind RD turns her around and kisses her. Realizing that his tubes are no more, stabs at her with his claws and flips back after his claws� miss and curses to himself, �How could I be so stupid ?!�
Clarice looks up and pushes the ice shockwave blast at RD.
Vin_Da_DM: Cain growls and parts of his armor begin to move around. He eyes Tabris and Claron directly.
Claron�s eyes lock on Cain�s.
Luna_Faline sees Katie�s weapon coming down and pushes myself up to my feet quickly.
Vin_Da_DM: RD spins in the air melting the ice blast before it hits her with her whips. The metal hunk Katie magnetized is thrown off and sent flying towards Clarice.
Vin_Da_DM: Several streams of blue energy shoot from open spots in Cain�s armor and head for Claron and Tabris.
Clarice sends a huge ice block at the metal coming at her as she ducks and rolls away.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne stands besides Kyra and sighs, �Not much I can do to help��
Vin_Da_DM: Syne motions at the tri-barreled cannon lying nearby, �Hey, kid...grab that and start shooting.�
Luna_Faline throws my sai at RD�s head as I move out of the way.
Kyra nods, �I know the feeling. My �special effects� don�t do shit.�
Kyra nods, grabbing the cannon and aiming at RD.
Claron ducks to the floor..
Kyra: Squeezing her eyes shut, Kyra fires.
Kyra: �Goddess, guide me.� Kyra prays.
Vin_Da_DM: Grabbing both whips in one hand RD reaches out with the other to deflect the cannon�s blast. With the whips she knocks the sai down, sending it to the ground.
Tabris steps in front of Claron creating an obsidian shield, which unfortunately only blocks a few of the streams. The others bore through the shield and Tabris� leg and arm.
DracBlue flies up behind her again, stabbing at her with one hand and with the other he waits for the whips.
Luna_Faline motions with my paw and drives the sai up from the ground below RD.
Clarice returns her concentration to RD.
Vin_Da_DM: RD watches as Drac�s blades strike against her personal shield. Turning upside down in the air she grabs Luna�s sai by the hilt and quickly jams it into Drac�s chest. Kicking off him she lands on top of the gazebo again.
Clarice�s anger builds as she concentrates on freezing RD from inside out.
DracBlue falls down hits the ground with a thud in shock.
Vin_Da_DM: Cain starts to fire again but it stopped as Stryder appears behind him and jumps onto his back and tries to stab him.
Luna_Faline runs over to Drac as he falls and pulls the sai out of his chest and puts my paw on the wound. �I�m sorry, Drac.�
Claron peeks around the obsidian wall and concentrates on tossing Cain up against the nearest wall.
Vin_Da_DM: RD shivers and then looks at Clarice giggling, �Oooh, colder baby. It feels sooo good!� Letting out an almost orgasmic cheer she slides across the ground and roundhouses Clarice in the face.
DracBlue manages to gasp, �Not...your fault...she�s...a bitch��
Clarice�s head snaps back and she feels herself sailing in the air.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder shimmers to the front side of Cain using Claron�s powers to make his stabbing stronger.
Luna_Faline helps Drac up. �Yes, she is. Now you really know why we all want her gone.�
DracBlue: �It seems I can�t get close, so I�ll try something else.
Vin_Da_DM: Cain grabs Stryder by the throat and narrows his gaze, �Annoying little boy!� He tossing Stryder like a rag doll into a tree.
DracBlue picks up one of the pillars of the gazebo and swings it at RD.
Luna_Faline aims a paw at RD and starts firing claws at her as fast as they reform.
Vin_Da_DM: The pillar catches RD off guard and sends her flying. Hitting the nearby wall she goes through it, Luna�s claws following her into the hole in the wall.
Kyra opens her eyes and keeps firing at RD.
Claron continues to concentrate on Cain�s gravity.
Luna_Faline keeps firing my claws into the hole waiting for RD to come back.
DracBlue: �Now, that HAD to hurt.�
Vin_Da_DM: Cain moves his blade up to collect Claron�s gravity again along it�s edge. Kicking off the wall he launches towards Claron.
Luna_Faline growls, �She likes pain.�
DracBlue looks at Luna_Faline and yells, �ARE YOU SERIOUS?�
Tabris growls and lowers both hands to his sides forming multiple diamond shaped obsidian shards.
Claron breaks her concentration as she ducks down.
Kyra stops firing as she sees RD go through the wall.
Luna_Faline nods at Drac, �If I didn�t regenerate, I�d have the scars to prove it.�
DracBlue: �For bullocks sake, where do you meet these people?�
Katie nods as well, �The emotional scars linger on for us all, however.�
Luna_Faline moves closer to the wall as Kyra ceases firing the cannon at it.
Cara forces herself go around the others to get a clear view of Cain, glancing over at Claron briefly before looking back at Cain and shooting blue streams of fire at his chest and head.
Vin_Da_DM: RD crawls out of the hole and giggles as she notices one of her arms is dislocated. Slamming herself against the wall she pops it back into place with a pleasured sigh. �Ooo, good. Next time hit me harder!�
DracBlue using his full strength swings directly at her. �Will do.�
Vin_Da_DM: Cara�s fire catches Cain�s organic parts on fire. Tabris swings his hands forward sending his shards out as they shift into lava. Cain struggles back as he is covered in flames and lava.
Luna_Faline dodges Drac�s strike at the last moment.
Vin_Da_DM: To Drac�s surprise RD lifts a hand to the side and catches the pillar with one hand. Grinning wide she swings the entire pillar with Drac still holding it into the side of the building.
Vin_Da_DM: The pillar breaks a large hole into the building, leaving Drac needing more than a band-aid inside the now exposed hallway.
Luna_Faline throws my sai at RD�s unprotected armpit.
Katie watches RD busily dealing with Luna and Drac, and focuses on crushing her inside her �shell�.
DracBlue climbs out with an wing out of place, grimacing. �Now, how in the hell are you that strong?�
DracBlue falls to the floor not being able to stand.
DracBlue starts eating the wall.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna�s sai sinks into RD�s joint and blows her right arm clean off, causing the pillar to drop along with the arm. Tilting her head almost completely sideways she grins at Luna. �No tuna for you, pussy cat.� The shoulder joint begins sparking under Katie�s power, but RD slowly advances towards Luna.
Claron catches sight of Katie concentrating on RD and begins to concentrate on aiding and combining her gravity manipulation to increase Katie�s �shelling�.
DracBlue hears a bone curdling snap as the food begins to heal his wing into place.
DracBlue hears another snap as a few ribs pop back into place and as his arm moves back into the joint.
Luna_Faline stands waiting for RD as I motion the sai to fly into the opening where the arm was attached. �Come and take my tuna then!�
Vin_Da_DM: Cain crouches down and yells loudly as he throws the lava and fire off. The cybernetic remains are semi-melted but Cain turns his gaze toward Cara. Grabbing his dropped sword he slides across the ground and impales her shoulder.
DracBlue sits down breathing heavily, yells at Luna, �I�m fine, but don�t expect me to get up for a bit.�
Cara screams out as she feels her shoulder get impaled.
Katie turns and bends Cain�s sword into a pretzel. �There. Play with that a while.�
Vin_Da_DM: Several metallic crunching and twisting noises emanate from RD as she advances. Her torso swivels around allowing her to grab Luna�s sai. �Bend and break me Warriors! This pain feels so good! So good!� Continuing she reaches Luna swings the sai at her.
DracBlue keeps eating the wall as his leg cracks showing back in its proper place and he keeps eating.
Vin_Da_DM :As RD swings the sai begins burning in her hand with white hot energy, RD grins. �Your pretty toy will be your undoing, Avatar!�
DracBlue picks up a piece of rubble and throws it at RD.
Luna_Faline smiles and stands with my paw out, �I would love to meet my mistress once more.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse swirls his hands gathering up another batch of shadowy tentacles to strike RD with.
Vin_Da_DM: As Drac�s chunk of rubble hits RD it causes her drop the sai. Grinning at her burned hand RD flips over Luna to attack her, but get hits in mid-air by Eclipse�s tentacle batch sending her crashing into the ground.
DracBlue cheers as he stuffs more rock into his mouth.
Vin_Da_DM: Cain tosses his bent sword aside and pins Cara to the wall with one hand. With his other he sticks his fingers into Cara�s wound and twists them around.
Luna_Faline calls the sai back to me as RD goes down.
Cara shrieks in pain.
Vin_Da_DM: �Get away from her, you bastard!� Stryder glares at Cain. Wiping away blood from his mouth he sprints up to Cain pulls him away from Cara. Lifting up a pistol he aims at Cain�s head, �Hell is waiting for you�� Firing he causes the bullet to explode as it hits Cain�s head, causing most of Cain�s torso to explode.
Vin_Da_DM: RD flips back to her feet and grins, a large hole burned through her chest by Eclipse�s attack. �So goood.��
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks down at Cain�s body and shoots it several more times. Turning he looks at Cara, �I told you I�d watch out for you�� Stryder collapses onto the ground.
Katie smiles grimly, �I pushed your face in once, you slimy twat. You looked so much better, then.� She narrows her gaze to stare intently at RD�s head.
Cara grabs her shoulder, ~Thought I was about to join Mom and Kabal.~
DracBlue grabs the shiny pebble that he had earlier and launches it straight at RD�s head.
Vin_Da_DM: Around the edges of the hole in RD�s chest energy begins crackle and build up. As Katie�s powers begin to crush RD a loud hum emanates from her.
Cara gasps as Stryder collapses. Rushes over and kneels down beside him, �Stryder...Stryder?�
Luna_Faline runs at RD as Katie crushes RD, and kicks her in the side knocking her down again, I drive my sai into her forehead.
Katie smirks, �Prettiest you�ve ever been, I tell ya.�
Vin_Da_DM: RD laughs as the sai burns into her forehead, �You�ll...all...be....meeting...your...goddess...soon.�
Luna_Faline rolls away as we go down, �With pleasure!�
Kyra plops down beside Syne. �She�s a tough nut, our Kat, ain�t she?�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian eyes RD then looks at the others, �Get away from her, now!�
Claron backs away.
Luna_Faline rolls to my feet and runs away from RD.
Katie turns and runs hard, away from the oncoming blast.
DracBlue covers himself with his wings.
Cara cradles Stryder�s head in her lap while dripping blood from her own shoulder.
Luna_Faline dives behind the fallen gazebo and turns to watch.
Clarice takes cover.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse dives behind the gazebo next to Luna and looks over towards RD�s body.
DracBlue pulls another piece of rock out of his back and from his side. Screams out in pain while crawling toward the next section of wall and eating while his wings cover him.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian calmly walks over toward RD�s corpse and stands between it and the Warriors. Glancing over his shoulder he nods, �Goddess be with you, Warriors.� Raising his arms to both sides a large blue shield begins to spread from the Guardian�s back.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian lowers his head, �Blessings be with you, Selenia.� RD�s body begins to glow and explodes with a gigantic spherical blast. Guardian�s shield protects everyone from the blast, but everything on the other side is vaporized by the blast wave.
Vin_Da_DM: As the dust and smoke clear you notice the entire front half of the mansion is gone and a giant sphere shaped crater is burned several feet into the ground beneath the mansion.
Luna_Faline grabs Eclipse and buries my face in his chest. �Guardian!�
Claron gasps as she realizes what just happened.
Katie: �Oh blessed Goddess,� Katie gasps, turning in time to see Guardian sacrifice himself.
DracBlue looks in utter horror at the spot where Guardian was and is too stunned even to eat or speak.
Clarice hangs her head.
Vin_Da_DM All around you the sky and remains of the mansion fade away to the inside of the large room outside of RD�s sanctum. A large sphere shaped is burned into the bulkheads where the sanctum was. Molochean is staring at the hole and the group in amazement.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse wraps his arms around Luna and hugs her tightly.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne stares blankly at the large hole and blinks, ���
Luna_Faline begins to shake in Eclipse�s arms.
Katie closes her eyes as tears roll, �Thank you, Friend. For all that you�ve seen us through. But now how do we continue without your guidance?�
Vin_Da_DM :�You�ll continue by getting the hell out of here.� A familiar voice echoes across the large room from behind you. Molochean turns to glance at the source of the voice and makes an pleasant grunt.
Claron: �We will achieve what the Guardian wanted done...that�s how.�
Tabris turns to look at the source of the voice, �Well, I�ll be damned��
Luna_Faline looks up from Eclipses now wet chest to see the source of the voice. I whispurr to Eclipse, �I think I lost my sai again.�
DracBlue gets up staggering and he walks over to where Guardian was and slashes his hand making blood pour onto where he was. Then watches it seal over and marks large letters into the ground and says, �May the afterlife treat you better than this life, my friend.�
Cara�s weak voice interrupts. �Someone...Stryder...help!�
Luna_Faline moves from Eclipse to check on Stryder.
Vin_Da_DM: The blonde strands of hair on the young man�s face blow in an invisible breeze. With a blue and purple eye he studies the group, he speaks again his voice echoing across the room, �We should get you to your ship before this station explodes. I hear it will be a rather impressive show.�
DracBlue reads the three runes he carved into the floor, the last reading sacrifice.
Cara eyes greet Luna_Faline as she approaches Stryder and her.
Luna_Faline places one paw on Cara�s shoulder and the other on Stryder. �Phalanx would be pleased.�
Cara feels the pain subsiding in her shoulder, �I owe him��
DracBlue: �We must leave now,� says as he limps to the door.
Luna_Faline looks over at Finn, �It�s good to see you again, old friend. I wish it was under better circumstances.�
Claron: �You can get us back to our ship?�
Vin_Da_DM: Finn looks up at Molochean with a nod, �Thank you, gentle beast. It is time for you to leave this place,� moving his hand Molochean disappears.
Claron smiles as she recognizes Finn.
Kyra peers curiously at the newcomer.
Clarice stands silently watching Finn. ~SO good to see you, Finnikins.~
Vin_Da_DM: Finn nods to the group, then moves his hands silently. Everyone is teleported onboard the small shuttle you arrived in. Gnomon and Tycho glance out from the cockpit looking rather surprised.

DracBlue: �Ummm, Kyra you might want to put your tongue back in your mouth.�
Claron: �Whoa! That was fast!�

Kyra snaps her gaze over to Drac, �My tongue is not hanging out of my mouth,� she snaps.

Luna_Faline whispurrs to Drac, �Close your robe, please,� and turns away blushing as well.
Cara sits quietly watching.
Vin_Da_DM: Finn turn his gaze to the two, �Time for us to leave this place.� The two (Gnomon and Tycho) nod confusingly then begin the undocking procedure.
DracBlue looks down and sees its torn, �Sorry��
Katie sits down tiredly, rubbing her eyes.
DracBlue closes his robe.
DracBlue sits down and repairs his robe.
Luna_Faline moves around the ship touching each warrior and healing them. As I finish I collapse to the floor exhausted. �Can we go home now?�
Clarice smiles inwardly as she watches Finn.
DracBlue looks at Syne, �Hey, can you explain some things to me on the way back?�
Claron sits next to Tabris, a smile showing on her face as she gazes at Stryder.
Katie curls up in her corner, staring at the wall, looking lost.
Kyra watches Stryder intently.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne nods with his floppy dog ears, �I�ll try my best to answer your questions.�
Cara�s eyes narrow as she spots Kyra looking at Stryder.

Vin_Da_DM: As the shuttle undocks with the massive space station the explosions begin to rock the station. Clearing dock the shuttle shoots out towards open space. The blast waves from the explosions ripple across the surface of the space station like waves.
Vin_Da_DM: Getting further away the shuttle begins opening a hyperspace gate. As you slide into the rainbow display of hyperspace you can see RD�s space station exploding piece by piece, looking almost like it was a vase shattering after falling to the floor.
Vin_Da_DM: Finn turns his gaze from the explosion and looks at everyone, �This will strike a major blow to the Dark Army�s forces on the mortal plane. You must return to your living ship, you need it more than you realize for what is to come��
