Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: The battle between Stryder and Black Inferno, who had possessed Clarissa, began. After exchanging attack after attack Stryder ended the battle by drawing his full power.
Vin_Da_DM: His attack killed Clarissa and as Black Inferno attempted to take control of Stryder the alien Turian intervened and banished Black Inferno. Turian told Stryder that he was now responsible for Cara and revealed that he was White Inferno.
Vin_Da_DM: He opened a portal for Stryder allowing him to return to the Ettik with Cara. Arriving on the Ettik a few moments later both he and Cara had their wounds tended to by the others.
Vin_Da_DM: Meanwhile Ettik continued towards Gul-Qian space, eventually exiting hyperspace and arriving near Gelfiven a living space-station at the Gul-Qian border, a large grayish cloud extending for ages in every direction beyond the station.
Vin_Da_DM: *Time Passed: Few minutes *
Vin_Da_DM: Gelfiven�s docking arm latches onto the Ettik and pulls it close. A soothing whale-like song fills in as background as the coms come to life. �Welcome to Gelfiven. All passengers of the Ettik please disembark while customs inspection is underway.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Customs processing will be complete in 48 galactic standard hours, complimentary group quarters will be provided. Dock Security can direct any inquiries you may have. Please abide by station regulations and enjoy your stay.�
Vin_Da_DM: The voice and whale-song background fades away and is replaced by Ettik�s normal com noise and Alexei�s voice, �All right, you heard them. Get everything you�ll need for two nights and head for the docking hatch.�
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
Katie sighs and looks at Shinta, �Time to get the show on the road, I guess.� She gets up and starts gathering things.
Tewyn twitches his ears, �I can�t go anywhere...I have to tend to Cara...and not letting her loose on the station.�
Claron continues to sob while cradled in Tabris� arms.
^Shinta nods and goes to pack his things.
Kyra sighs, �Not like I have anything to pack.�
Clarice glances over at Tewyn, �If you stay, so will I.�
Tabris quietly strokes Claron�s head then speaks softly, �Sounds like we have to clear out for a bit. Come on, Hun��
Luna_Faline looks at Eclipse and sighs, �Forty eight hours? Doesn�t that seem a bit long?� as I pull on my dress and boots.
Tewyn shakes his head, �You better go, see what this place is about...doubt they�ll let me stay here, much less both of us.�
Kyra wanders toward what she hopes is the place to disembark, �I came with nothing, so I have nothing.�
Claron: �But I don�t want to go��
Clarice sighs, �Well, guess we will find out together.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Not up to us, I�d guess.� Eclipse says with a shrug, �I don�t need much, so I think I�m pretty much set.�
^Shinta grabs the bag he has packed and heads out to exit the ship.
Luna_Faline adjusts the strap on my sheath making sure it doesn�t show below the hem of my dress. �I don�t need much either, but I sure don�t want to leave this laying around.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder shimmers in right next to the hatch and looks out into the station. Giving a short nod he walks out into the docking area.
Vin_Da_DM: �Agreed,� Eclipse says as he stands in the doorway to their quarters, �All set?�
Katie finishes packing and heads to the docking bay doors.
^Shinta walks out of the ship and glances around the docking area.
Tabris: �Well, I�m not sure they�ll let us stay on the ship, Claron.� Tabris says to her.
Kyra leaves the ship and looks around, lost.
Luna_Faline nods and steps thru the door, �What about Cara? Will they move her, too?�
Vin_Da_DM: The docking area is nice and bright, but not horribly large. There are several smooth benches rising from the floor seamlessly. Several armor aliens are standing to one side watching the hatch as everyone exits.
^Shinta: �Guess they don�t play with security,� walking out of the docking area.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not sure...hopefully she�ll be awake soon,� Eclipse says looking at Luna.
Claron looks at Tabris thru her tear filled eyes, �Don�t know if I can stop these tears...but will go if you think we should.�
Vin_Da_DM: �You can cry as much as you want, but we should get going,� Tabris says as he moves and offers his hand to her.
Luna_Faline: �And then what? There is no telling what kind of attitude we will be dealing with,� sighs, �Remember when Stryder and Clarissa came on board? She was hell to deal with for a while.�
Cara screams out, �Kabal�NOOOO!!!� as she jerks to an upright position on the med bay table.
Vin_Da_DM: Padding out of the hatch in dog-form Syne looks around, �Not bad...a little to white for my tastes.�
Claron takes Tabris hand and allows him to lead her.
Tewyn watches Cara sit up.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m sure it�ll be a struggle, and we�ll have to deal with it.� Eclipse says as he moves down the hall with Luna.
Vin_Da_DM: �Anything you need to get out of our quarters, Dear?� Tabris looks at Claron with a smile, trying to cheer her up.
Clarice startles as she hears Cara scream out.
Luna_Faline shivers a little at the thought, �Tewyn may have his hands full.�
Katie walks out and sits down on a bench. She smiles reassuringly at Kyra.
Vin_Da_DM: The apparent leader of the armored aliens leaves his group and approaches those already in the docking area. He eyes everyone suspiciously but then gives a nod, �Greetings. If you�d prefer I can issue individual or group passes for your ship�s crew.�
Cara�s eyes widen as they finally focus on Tewyn, �What are you doing here?�
Vin_Da_DM: Slinging a plain-brown duffle over his shoulder Alexei steps out of the Ettik and looks around with a familiar nod. �Been awhile��
Katie: �Individual might be better,� Katie says with a nod, �People tend to like to wander off on their own.�
Tewyn: �Someone had to make sure you woke up.�
Claron shakes her head, �I don�t think so��
Kyra plops down next to Katie, �You ever been here, before?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Then let us hope Tewyn can handle full hands,� Glancing at Luna, Eclipse extends his hand forward as they reach the hatch, �Ladies first.�
Katie nods, wincing. �Yeah. I became a brand new woman last time I was here.�
Luna_Faline takes a deep breath as we reach the hatch, �Well, here we go,� purring softly.
Luna_Faline walks slowly down the ramp to the docking area and joins the others.
Cara: �I don�t need you to watch over me!� sliding off of the table and glaring angrily at Tewyn. Glancing at Clarice then back at Tewyn, �Nor your whore�s.�
Kyra gives her an odd look, and Katie just shakes her head. �I�ll explain another time. My nerves are on edge right now.�
Vin_Da_DM: �All right then, I will need your name and race to go along with your ship�s ID. Please extend your hands,� the lead guard pulls a device that looks like a barcode reader from his belt and inputs several commands on it�s keys.
Tewyn holds his hand up to Cara, �Your not going anywhere unattended, you�re my making, my responsibility. Get a grip on that�or we can fight it out again if you want.�
Tabris: �All right, then we can head straight out,� Tabris wraps his arm around Claron, resting his hand on her shoulder.
Katie steps forward, �Katerina McKinnon. Human.� She extends her right hand.
Luna_Faline looks nervously at Eclipse and whispurrs, �Is Avatar a race?�
Kyra stands behind her shyly, �Kyra Darnier. Human.�
Vin_Da_DM: The device beeps and the guard nods to Katie, �This might sting for a second. And you can remove it when you return to your ship.� He presses the tip to the back of Katie�s hand and with a small pinching feeling it deposits a small circular chip onto the skin.
Cara moves closer to Tewyn, so that she is standing right in front of him. �That would suit me just fine�here and now,� as she quickly brings her knee up into his groin.
Vin_Da_DM: �Should you wish to purchase anything, money can be transferred to your ID chips from a banking terminal.� The guard says as he readies the device for another chip.
Katie nods, and Kyra looks nervous.
Tewyn watches Cara�s movements go in slow motion, grabs her knee and pushes her back on the medical bed. �Strike one.�
Vin_Da_DM: The guard smiles to Kyra, �Your hand please, Miss.�
Clarice gasps as she watches Tewyn and Cara, �Now is not the time.�
Kyra holds her hand out.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not sure...maybe we can get an ID for the two of us,� Eclipse says as he looks at the guard then back to Luna.
Luna_Faline nods.
Vin_Da_DM: The device pinches Kyra as well, leaving her chip behind. The guard moves to Alexei who extends his hand, �My chip�s sub-dermal,� Alexei says to which the guard nods and scans his hand.
Cara feels herself propelled back against the bed, catching herself she does a roundhouse and kicks Tewyn in the gut.
Tewyn watches Cara�s foot move slowly and he grabs her again. �Things are not as they were last time, kiddo.� Pushes her back again.
Vin_Da_DM: �Might have moved some stuff around, but I remember where a few things are around here,� Alexei says to Katie and Kyra.
Claron leans against Tabris as they leave the ship.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder steps up to the guard as he notices Claron and Tabris, �Stryder, Human.� Extending his hand he ignores the pinch, glances at the chip.
Katie nods to Alexei, �I think Lil Bit is gonna need some stuff if she�s gonna stick around with us.� She looks at Kyra, �Unless you plan to move on?�
Cara growls, rushes Tewyn and begins beating her fists against his chest.
Vin_Da_DM: The guard moves over to Luna and Eclipse with the device.
Kyra shakes her head, �Something inside feels like I�m where I�m supposed to be. I think I was meant to find you guys.�
Tewyn grabs Cara and holds her, �You were warned where your actions with your brother was heading.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Guess I should change so I actually have hands,� Syne comments to himself before shifting into his human form and stretching.
Luna_Faline holds out my paw and silently waits for the chip.
Claron manages a weak smile as she sees Stryder through her tears.
Tewyn: �Do you wish to tempt the same fate as him?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at the guard, �It�s possible to get a ID for the two of us?�
Vin_Da_DM: The guard nods, �Yes. Only one of you needs the ID chip and you both must stay together.�
Luna_Faline shrugs and drops my paw.
Kyra eyes the chip in her hand curiously, the shrugs and looks around again.
Katie wonders where the funding comes from.
Vin_Da_DM: �Eclipse, Roxxian,� Eclipse extends his hand and receives his ID chip. The guard then moves over to Syne, �Syne. Shape-shifter.� The guard eyes him suspiciously then gives him his chip, moving on toward Claron and Tabris.
Cara struggles against Tewyn. As she hears him mention her brother she finds herself unable to hold back the tears, �As if you really CARE!�
Vin_Da_DM: �Don�t need a guide then?� Alexei looks at Kyra and Katie with one raised brow, �There are maps just outside every docking area, too.�
Clarice: �He cares more than you know, Cara��
Katie puts her hand on Alexei�s arm, �We�d be glad of a guide.�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian steps into the doorway to Medical, �We were ordered to vacate the ship�� Pausing he looks at Tewyn and Cara, �What exactly is going on here?�
Tewyn: �Think what you want, young one...there is much you do not understand. If I didn�t care, would I of been willing to sacrifice myself to try and save you from the evil your mother seeded inside you.�
Tewyn looks back to the Guardian, �Someone finally woke up, but was on the wrong side of the bed.�
Vin_Da_DM: �All right. Just let me know what you�re looking for,� Alexei says to Katie, looking back at the others.
^Shinta takes a seat on one of the benches.
Cara starts to shake as she sees the Guardian and feeling quite outnumbered suddenly.
Katie smiles, �Well, after we are settled in, we�ll probably want to make some purchases.�
Vin_Da_DM: The guard looks between Tabris and Claron, �Will you two be wanting a group ID as well?�
Vin_Da_DM: �If your daughter is having trouble, I can take watch of her while we wait on customs.� The Guardian offers to Tewyn.
Tewyn: �No, that�s okay...she is my responsibility, whether she likes it or not.�
Tabris: �Well, Claron...what do you think?� Tabris looks questioningly at Claron.
Claron does not look at the guard, but buries her head into Tabris shoulder, �I don�t plan on going anywhere without you.�
Luna_Faline looks from Katie with Alexei and Kyra then over to Shinta, nudges Eclipse and gives him a questioning look.
Vin_Da_DM: �Very well. Can you escort her off the ship or do you require assistance?� Guardian questions as he studies Tewyn.
Tewyn looks at Cara, �You gonna come along without problem, or will we be doing this the hard way?�
Tabris: �Tabris DuVallis, Human.� Tabris nods to the guard who puts the chip onto his extended hand. The guard looks around at everyone, �Is this your full crew?�
Vin_Da_DM: �We�ve still got a few onboard,� Alexei says to the guard.
Cara looks at her father, �I have no other choice...for now,� feeling very trapped at the moment.
Vin_Da_DM: The lead guard nods, �They have a few minutes to vacate your vessel. After that we will begin the first part of the inspection.�
Tewyn: �You always have a choice.�
Cara: �Yeah right, whatever you say��
Katie steps back, watching her crewmates.
Tewyn shrugs and walks away, �When your ready then maybe you will listen, till then I�d rather hear silence,� exiting Med Bay.
Vin_Da_DM: �Those of you with ID chips may enter the station,� The lead guard motions to a guard near a non-descript wall. He presses a panel and a circular door opens out of the wall into a short glass-walled walkway.
Clarice shakes her head as Tewyn exits the med bay. �After you, Cara,� pointing to the door.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian exits the med bay and looks over his shoulder at Cara and Clarice.
Kyra watches Stryder.
Cara looks at Clarice, then back at the Guardian. With a grunt she follows behind the Guardian.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder eyes Kyra, then heads out into the glass hallway.
Katie watches the exchange, smirks, then motions Kyra to follow.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei looks at Katie, �This is basically an elevator that�ll take us to the main levels.�
Katie nods.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne wanders over to the glass hallway and looks around once inside, �Not much too see.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks over at Luna, �Time for an elevator ride, it seems.�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian ducks under Ettik�s hatch as he exits and glances around. The lead guard notices him and moves over.
Luna_Faline takes Eclipse�s hand in her paw and nods.
Katie and Kyra move onto the glass walkway, where Kyra stares, awestruck. �Whoa,� Kyra whispers.
Cara moves cautiously behind the Guardian, glances around wondering if she can find a way to escape. ~Why couldn�t it have been me instead of you Kabal?~
Vin_Da_DM: �Since you�re a robot I�ll just transmit your ID.� The lead guard looks at the Guardian, who nods and replies, �Phalanx IV.� The lead guard points the device at Guardian and it beeps.
Clarice watches Cara as they move closer to the guard, then glances around trying to spot Tewyn.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder perks a brow and looks out of the hallway at Cara. ~Did you just say something?~
Vin_Da_DM: The lead guards moves to Cara and Clarice, �Name and race for your ID chips, please.�
Tewyn raises his hand to the guard without looking, �Tewyn, Dark Elf. Will there be anything else?�
Vin_Da_DM: The guard notices Tewyn, inputs the device and stamps his hand quickly. �Remain within civilian zones and you should be fine, Sir.�
Cara stops quickly as she hears the sound of Stryder�s voice in her mind.
Tewyn takes a seat by ^Shinta, �I don�t know how you do it?�
Cara reaches her hand out, �Cara of Goldspire, Halfling.�
Vin_Da_DM: The guard raises a brow, then stamps Cara�s ID onto her hand.
^Shinta looks at Tewyn, �Huh? Don�t know how I do what?�
Cara notices the look from the guard, but doesn�t say anything.
Tewyn: �Put up with kids, you gotta a lot of patience is all I can say.�
Clarice moves up to the guard with her hand extended, �Vivian Clarice Penance, Human.�
^Shinta smiles, �They grow on you in time...you will find the patience you need.�
Vin_Da_DM: The guard nods and ID�s her as well, he looks around at the group, �Did I miss anyone?�
Clarice starts to nudge Cara, but thinks better of it, :We should join your father.�
Katie looks out at Shinta with curiosity. �Best getcher tag on, my love.� Katie calls softly.
Tewyn: �Lets hope so, or one of us will be dead.�
^Shinta stands, �Shinta, Human, plus 2.�
Vin_Da_DM: Giving Shinta an odd looking, the guard tags his hand, then nods the group as a whole. �The lift will take you to the station's civilian sectors. Your complimentary quarters are on level 5. 1-4 are free to explore. Further access to the station is prohibited unless authorized.�
Luna_Faline walks thru the glass hallway with Eclipse, �I don�t remember ever having been on a Gul-Qian station,� as I look ahead.
Tabris leads Claron over the glass-hallway elevator.
Cara moves slowly towards Tewyn watching closely her surroundings and thinks to herself, ~I�ll find away to rid myself of you...of all of you.~
Vin_Da_DM: �They�re fascinating places. The main commercial section is tiered with a garden in the middle,� Alexei says to Luna and the others as he stands in the hallway.
Tewyn: �One thru five...got it.�
Vin_Da_DM: ~I�d be careful with such talk if I were you.~ Stryder eyes Cara silently nodding as he definitely heard her thoughts.
Claron leans against Tabris barely noticing the surroundings through her tears.
Luna_Faline purrs, �A garden, that sounds nice,� smiles, �But shopping sounds better.�
Katie: �A garden. How lovely.� Katie looks at Claron. �Some of our happier times were in a beautiful garden.�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian steps into the increasingly crowded hallway-elevator.
Kyra smiles at Stryder timidly, then looks back at her feet.
Cara catches sight of Stryder nodding his head in her direction. ~I could swear he is hearing my thoughts.~
Vin_Da_DM: �Enjoy your stay. Your chips will let you known when your ship is done with inspection.� The guard gives a final nod then motions to the other guards who start boarding Ettik.
Vin_Da_DM: ~A bit deaf are we?~ Stryder smirks at Cara.
Katie thinks of the garden in her memory, then a declaration of love that came to her while sitting among the roses. She closes her eyes and smiles for a moment.
Luna_Faline raises a brow at Katie, �I remember a garden with an angry possessed rose bush in it.�
Claron hears Katie, �That was a long time ago�� tears sliding down her cheeks.
Katie opens her eyes and grins, �Oh, yeah. Me, too.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Long time�� Tabris comments in.
Cara cringes as she starts to feel very vulnerable for the first time in her life.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse shakes his head then looks at Luna, �Sorry...got lost in thought. I don�t think I�ve been on one either.�
Luna_Faline leans up and kisses his cheek, �That�s okay, what were you thinking about?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Everyone ready to go up?� Alexei says as he stands near the small holo-graphic panel that lights up.
Luna_Faline giggles, �Do you need a map to find your way back?�
Katie sighs, �Well, as soon as the stragglers get on��
Vin_Da_DM: �Lots of things,� Eclipse says to Luna, �The mention of a garden brought to mind Aventine...recent and my first visit��
Luna_Faline purrsighs and rubs my face against his chest, �The gardens are wonderful on Aventine. Very aromatic and colorful.�
Clarice: �Wait just a second,� calls out to Alexei.
Clarice turns to Cara and Tewyn, �Are you two coming?�
Clarice moves towards the elevator.
Tewyn: �Yea, guess so.�
Cara looks at her father, �Guess that means you will not let me stay here then��
Cara moves towards the elevator.
Cara tries not to think about being surrounded by all these Warriors.
Vin_Da_DM: �All right...here goes. Enjoy the view�� Alexei presses the button and the door closes. The hallway moves silently and smoothly upward. As your clear a section of bulkhead you can see the glowing insides of Gelfiven�s lower docking arm. Rainbow veins crisscross in a glowing cavern of fleshy-metal.
Katie looks at Cara disdainfully, then turns away to watch outside the elevator.
Cara thinks about what it be like to melt the glass and hurl all the Warriors down into the insides of the lower docking arm.
Vin_Da_DM: The glowing veins and caverns continue for little bit, then more bulkheads. The elevator slows and then softly *dings* as it reaches it�s destination.
Vin_Da_DM: The doors slide open revealing the extremely large inner core of Gelfiven. A domed glass-ceiling looks out to the upper arms and space beyond. A small sign across the elevator says �Level 1: Market Promenade�. The promenade is wide and all sorts of shops line it, some in the wall, some near the edge of the tier.
Luna_Faline steps out of the lift and looks around.
Vin_Da_DM: Over the edge you can see the other tiers, leading down to a large oval-shaped garden with trees, walkways, fountains, ponds, flowers, plants and a alien-esque pagoda.
Vin_Da_DM: To one side a small blue furry humanoid wearing a vest glances at you with dark eyes.
Katie steps off with Kyra.
DracBlue runs in a circle causing a small dust devil.
Luna_Faline waits for Eclipse as I look around, �So? Where do we want to go from here?�
DracBlue then looks up and sees the new arrivals.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei files out of the elevator and takes a big stretch as he moves over the edge of the walkway and looks down over the edge. �Good to be back...so, where do you ladies want to go?�
Katie: �Why didn�t he come?� Katie whispers to herself, �He�s always taking off on his own. I begin to think he�s allergic to me or something.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse shrugs as he looks around, �Not sure...but we�ll go there together.�
DracBlue jumps up and down as he sees Katie and runs up at a blurring speed to her, tugs on her leggings.
Kyra is wide-eyed, �Whoa,� she gasps.
Katie jumps. �Get off me, fuzzball!� Katie yells.
DracBlue holds a necklace with a large shiny stone up to Katie.
Luna_Faline smiles at Eclipse, �Well, this should be interesting,� then looks for the source of the breeze that went past me.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder glances back at Cara, then strolls off down one direction of the promenade. ~Have fun with Daddy.~
Tabris looks at Claron with a smile, �This place is pretty nice.�
Katie scowls, �Is this the normal greeting for this place?�
DracBlue holds the necklace higher.
Vin_Da_DM: �You want something, little guy?� Syne says as he looks down at the thing at Katie.
Katie takes the necklace hesitantly, looking over at Syne with a raised brow.
DracBlue then bounces up and down and writes in the ground with his claws �Dracblue�.
Katie�s eyes seem to beg the question �Why me?�.
Luna_Faline sees the short blue thing bugging Katie, �What in the galaxy is that?� I ask Eclipse.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei raises his brow at the little guy, �Looks like you�ve got yourself a new friend.�
DracBlue simply looks up and says, �Pretty lady.�
Kyra: �DracBlue, huh?� Kyra smirks.
Cara frowns. ~Never, unless it watching him die.~ A smile crosses her lips.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks over at DracBlue and scratches his head, �I�m not sure.�
Katie: �Tis nae funny, Kyra.� Katie scowls deeper.
Kyra laughs.
Katie looks at Alexei, �Did I look like I needed another pet?�
Luna_Faline asks Katie, �What was the other pet?�
DracBlue: �What pet?�
Katie: �Well,� Katie says, �First, I had Savannah. Then my lil FuzzyButt,� she sighs.
Vin_Da_DM: �Then your Rogue,� Syne winks at Katie, then smiles.
Katie grins, �Yes, then my Rogue.�
DracBlue: �Me fast, help you.� DracBlue says as he runs around Katie at half speed as to make the air float up round her.
Claron looks back at Tabris, with her eyes showing she is unable to appreciate the beauty of the place.
Katie�s raven hair lifts in the breeze. �Hey. Stop, you silly thing.�
Luna_Faline sneezes as the critter stirs up more dust, �Damn, I think they need a new dust buster.�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei watches DracBlue and sighs a bit.
Cara looks around at the others, then dashes quickly off the elevator. Racing off in the direction she saw Stryder head off in.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian looks down at DracBlue with interest, �He can come with us.�
Katie scowls, �Do we hafta?� she sighs.
DracBlue then runs up to the shoulder of Katie and sits down. Then starts chatting in some foreign tongue.
Vin_Da_DM: �Where do you want to go, Babe?� Tabris looks into Claron�s eyes.
Katie: �Oh, Holy Shitballs of Flame!� Katie screams.
Luna_Faline looks at Guardian, �Geez,� turning away as it makes it�s self at home with Katie.
Clarice. �Tewyn! Stop her!!�
Katie shudders while Kyra doubles up with laughter.
DracBlue keeps chattering.
Katie: �Tis NAE funny, Kyra Darnier.� Katie frowns, trying to look at the lump on her shoulder.
Kyra just laughs harder.
Claron: �Somewhere�where there aren�t many people.�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian manages a short chuckle then eyes DracBlue, talking to him in his own language.
DracBlue waves a finger at Kyra as one of her shiny possessions is in his hands chattering and handing it to Katie.
Kyra wipes her eyes, �Soooo. Is DracBlue your name?�
Clarice: �Dammit it, Tewyn!� calls back over her shoulder as she rushes off after Cara.
Dracblue nods.
Luna_Faline tells Claron gently, �You could go on to our assigned sleeping arrangements.�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian nods to DracBlue then looks at Katie, �He says he�ll help us, Katie.�
Katie: �Help us what, though?� Katie grumbles, �Sweep the floor?�
DracBlue extends his claws from his fists holding them for Katie to see.
Vin_Da_DM: �His species has unique abilities,� Guardian comments, �Perhaps you should try treating him as a friend, instead of a nuisance.�
Tabris brushes Claron�s hair aside, �We can go to our room, if you want.�
DracBlue starts chatting at the Guardian again.
Vin_Da_DM: �He wants to know if you�d like a demonstration.� Guardian says as he looks at Katie.
Luna_Faline moves over to the promenade and looks both ways purring gleefully, �Shops�shops�shops�shops.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne shrugs, �Talent show��
Claron nods her head at Tabris, �Yes, I think that�s a good idea.�
Katie eyes the claws, �I think I get the idea.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Should probably get some money on this thing, first.� Eclipse lifts his hand up motioning at the ID chip.
Luna_Faline deflates quickly, �Oh, yeah, that might be a problem,� looking around for a bank.
Vin_Da_DM: �He means of his speed, Katie.� Guardian replies.
DracBlue retracts his claws and nods.
Katie: �I think we saw his speed when he tried to tackle me.� Katie muses reaching up to stroke DracBlue along his back.
DracBlue purrs.
Vin_Da_DM: Further down the curving promenade Luna notices a terminal set into the wall. A holographic sign saying �Bank Terminal� in numerous languages hovers above it.
Kyra: �Well, he IS kinda cute, I guess.� Kyra notes.
Katie nods slightly.
Vin_Da_DM: �Now that you�ve made a new friend, what were you looking for?� Alexei looks at Katie and Kyra.
Luna_Faline points, �OOOOH look, over there. But do we have an account to access?�
DracBlue then starts to look around the room for shineys.
Vin_Da_DM: �Hmm...got no money...guess I�ll hang out with you, Kat.� Syne says with a nod to Katie, �Iffen that�s okay.�
Katie: �I suppose,� Katie smiles, then looks at Alexei, �Some clothes for Kyra. But we need money, first. Who�s paying for all this?�
Vin_Da_DM: �I think this thing is our bank account,� Eclipse looks at the ID chip.
Luna_Faline shakes my head slightly.
Luna_Faline: �So, they just give money to any one that docks here?�
Katie: �Yeah,� Katie says, �But I wasn�t aware everyone had money to have it in the bank to begin with.�
Tabris and Claron get back into the elevator. Tabris presses the button for level 5. �Should be just us until everyone�s done shopping.�
Katie: �Fine with me, Rogue. Y�know I enjoy your company.�
Cara darts around people, keeping her eyes open for someplace she could hide herself until she can figure out a way out of the predicament she now finds herself in.
DracBlue jumps down and grabs a shiny stone, runs back onto Katie�s shoulder before she notices he�s gone and stares at it.
Vin_Da_DM: Cara feels herself being grabbed and pulled into a side corridor. Stryder looks at her as he lets her go. �I think we have some talking to do.�
Claron nods her head, �Does this mean these quarters will be communal?�
DracBlue pulls a bottle of shiny glitter from his vest and puts some on Katie�s hair.
Katie sneezes, �Och, dammit ya wee buggar!�
Kyra staggers into the wall wheezing, �Awwww, isn�t that sweet? He wants to make you purty.� She giggles harder.
Tabris: �Beats me...but I�m thinking so.� Tabris says as the elevator opens into a simple lobby. A slender white-skinned woman wearing black looks up from the nearby counter, �Greetings travelers. ID chip please.�
Cara struggles trying to free herself from Stryder�s grasp before she feels him let go, �And why would I want to talk to YOU? You left us!�
DracBlue glares at Kyra.
Vin_Da_DM: �Let�s find out�� Eclipse says as he looks at Luna and begins walking towards the terminal.
DracBlue throws party poppers at Kyra�s feet.
Katie: �Very funny, Kyra.� Katie scowls, but can�t help smiling a bit.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian looks at the group still near him, �If you require funds I have some I can give you to put onto your ID chips.�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei nods to Guardian, �Ettik and I have a decent spending account as well��
Luna_Faline stays with Eclipse as he goes to the terminal.
Claron waits for Tabris to show the woman the ID chip, keeping her head lowered to avoid the woman from seeing her swollen red eyes.
Katie heads to the terminal, �I think I may still have some from before.�
Katie: �Not sure, though.�
Tabris walks over to the counter and extends his hand. The woman scans it and nods, �Thank you. Room 18, down the right hallway.� She glances at Claron then back at Tabris, �There is a replicator in your quarters for meals and medical supplies. Enjoy your stay.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks over at Katie, �I suppose you know how to use this thing.�
Katie steps up and puts her hand under the scanner on the terminal.
DracBlue starts chattering again.
Luna_Faline looks around at the shops we pass on the way to the terminal.
Clarice loses sight of Cara, �Fuck...this is not good.�
DracBlue then runs off Katie�s shoulder and runs up to Luna_Faline and looks at her curiously.
Vin_Da_DM: The terminal chimes softly giving a readout of Katie�s name, race, ship and account history. Another chime calculates her balance, �Credit available for McKinnon, Katerina. 800,000 galactic credits�.
Luna_Faline looks down at the blue dust buster and hisses, �Don�t even think about catching a ride with me.�
DracBlue walks up to her and pets her leg.
Katie: �Well, that answers that,� Katie muses, �Guess I do still have some money.�
Luna_Faline swats the duster away and growls, �Shoooo.�
DracBlue growls back and starts running round her at top speed.
Claron moves beside Tabris over to Room 18.
Vin_Da_DM: �I do not care about the past. This is now. Your brother is dead, my sister is dead. Your fate is in MY hands. So, you WILL work with me. I will help you fit in and become one of us, but I can�t do that if you�re running away and trying to kill people!� Stryder shoves her against the wall again.
Tabris: As Tabris opens the door into room 18 he blinks noticing the large room is empty. A holographic panels appears in front of them, �Please select desired layout.� Followed by several different visual representations of the options.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse smirks at Luna as he looks down at Drac, �Calm down, little one.�
Dracblue stops running as he looks at Eclipse.
Cara glares at Stryder as he shoves her against the wall, �How DARE you even think that I want to be one of you!�
DracBlue runs back to Katie and hides his head in her hair.
Katie looks at Kyra, �Well, whatever you need, I�ll be happy to purchase. Just don�t go too buck wild.� She transfers the funds to her implanted chip.
Kyra blushes, �I�d hate to make you have to pay for me.�
Vin_Da_DM: �YOU have no choice. Do you really think you could waltz back to the enemy after what you�ve done?� Stryder glares at her, �You�re stuck with us, whether you like it or not. I�d suggest you try to get along.� ~Or you can continue and I can show you what my mind can truly do...~
Katie chuckles at Drac, then looks at Kyra. �Tis not a problem, lil one. You need some new clothes. And besides, it�s always nice to have a shopping buddy.�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei looks around at the group. �Aside from Katie, who needs money?�
Claron: �Whoa! Okay, Mr. Interior Designer...I�ll leave that to you,� managing a weak smile.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at Alexei then back at Luna whispering, �Do you?�
DracBlue nibbles on Katie�s glittering hair.
Luna_Faline smiles, �What do you think?� laughs, �Of course I do.�
Katie: �Hey!� Katie swats gently, �If you are going to hang with me, NO EATING my clothes or hair or anything. No nibbling, got it?�
DracBlue whimpers and nods.
Cara: �WHAT I�ve done? I have done nothing compared to what you�YOU and YOUR sister have done!!�
Tabris: �I�m not a designer...I�m sure everyone will want privacy.� Tabris hovering his finger along the options, �Divided alcoves. Small seating area, showers and bathrooms. Looks good to me.� Tabris presses it and watches in amazement as the room shapes to the desired layout.
DracBlue sighs and stops nibbling.
Vin_Da_DM: �No, they haven�t, Drac.� Guardian says to Drac in common.
Katie: �Haven�t what?� Katie looks at Drac suspiciously.
Dracblue sighs yet again and puts another shiny in Katie�s hand.
Vin_Da_DM: �That is the past. It is done...it cannot be undone.� Stryder lets go of Cara and turns to the side, �Try to get along. I saved your life, don�t make me regret that decision.�
DracBlue tries human�s native tongue, fails miserably and just chatters again.
Vin_Da_DM: �Guess we can use some money, Alexei,� Eclipse says to him.
Cara continues to glare. ~I wasn�t afraid of you back then and I am not afraid of you now!~
Katie looks at Kyra and Syne, �Shall we?�
DracBlue runs off to the stores looking for a specific amulet.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei nods and slides his hand under the bank terminal scanner, �Credit available for Ettik and Pilot Alexei, 90 million galactic credits.� Alexei nods, "Make transfer of 50 thousand to the following chip.� Alexei looks at Eclipse, �Go ahead and scan yours.�
Cara: �And why would you save my life?�
Luna_Faline smiles at Alexei, �Thank you.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Okay,� Eclipse slides his chip under and the bank terminal chimes in �Amount transferred�.
DracBlue stabs a puff of air as he�s looking for the item he searches for.
Vin_Da_DM: �Lead the way, Kat.� Syne nods as he looks around.
Katie links her arm through Kyra�s and they head off to browse the shops.
Kyra looks at Katie with concern, �Why is the shaman being so damned distant? I thought you two had something?�
Claron walks into the room that is directly in front of Tabris and her, throws herself on the bed.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei smiles at Luna, �Not a problem. Don�t spend it all in one place.� Alexei turns back to the bank terminal. �Special order, scan Ettik and repair damaged systems. Bill this account.� The bank terminals chimes back to him and he nods.
Katie snorts, �Don�t ask me. I get more affection from the shape-shifter, more often than not,� she jerks a thumb over her shoulder at Syne. �And he barely even likes me.�
DracBlue sighs and follows Katie as he doesn�t find what he�s looking for.
Kyra frowns, �But if he declared that it�s you and you only that makes his heart sing�.� she trails off.
DracBlue walks on his hands to slow down to human pace.
Katie: �I dunno, dear. He�s always been an odd one.� Katie sighs and keeps walking.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian follows quietly behind Katie and Kyra, watching DracBlue carefully.
DracBlue chatters at the Guardian again.
Vin_Da_DM: �I like you just fine, specially from back here.� Syne smirks at Katie.
Luna_Faline ears twitch as I hear Katie snort.
Katie giggles, �Pervert.�
Kyra just smirks and stays silent.
Claron mind becomes overrun with images of their twins, �Why couldn�t there have been another way!?� she cries out..
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian nods to DracBlue, �If you want I can help you with that problem.�
Dracblue nods upside-down like as he�s walking on his hands.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian motions DracBlue to him, patting on his arm for a place for him to sit. �Up here then.�
Luna_Faline takes Eclipse�s hand and follows the rest of the group, �I hope the problem you are talking about is his constant chatter.�
Cara moves away from the wall and closer to Stryder, �WELL? Why would you save me?�
DracBlue growls as he already has his person to follow and sits there as told, following his new friend friend�s advice.
Luna_Faline asks Guardian, �What happened to the interpreter chips you implanted into some of us when we first went to the temple?�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian grabs a small device from his torso and presses it against DracBlue�s arm. After a short poke he nods, �Done. You can go back to her now.�
Katie sees a gorgeous dress through the doorway of a shop. �Ooo!� she gasps.
DracBlue runs back to Katie walking on his hands, giving her distance.
Vin_Da_DM: �He�s too small for the chip, but I have a nanite form of the translator,� Guardian says to Luna.
Kyra looks at it, too. �Mmmm, that�s pretty. You should get it.�
Katie shakes her head, �And where would I wear it?� she sighs and keeps walking.
Luna_Faline pauses for a moment, �But ours don�t work anymore? Or just don�t work on his language?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Because I couldn�t just leave you there, that�s why.� Stryder looks at Cara, �During that battle...something happened. That�s why�� ~We can do this now.~
Clarice shakes her head as she turns around and starts back towards the elevator. �Guess I should inform the others that I managed to lose sight of HIS daughter,� seething inwardly. �I�m not her MOTHER!�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian glances back at Luna, �Your chips are programmed with most of the universal languages. Some of the rarer ones, like his, were not in it.�
Tabris looks at Claron, �I don�t know why...I just don�t.�
DracBlue starts talking to himself, �Damn people, never even heard of a Quickling I bet. So sad...but on the other hand, she hangs around a shiny person that fixes people.�
Luna_Faline nods, �I see,� and turns to look at the dress Katie is drooling over. �Go ahead and try it on, what�s it going to hurt?�
DracBlue falls down at the sound of the words coming from his lips so slowly.
Katie turns and looks at Drac, �Ahhh, well then. Hello.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder glances up towards the promenade and looks at Cara. Then closing his eyes he sends a message to Clarice, ~She�s with me, Aunt. Don�t worry.~
DracBlue touches his lips and looks at the robot, then at his arm and then back at the robot again before looking at Katie and smiles at her.
Cara�s eyes start to glisten tears, you should have let her take me, too. ~I don�t think I can do this, not without Kabal.~
Vin_Da_DM: �The wallet, I�d say,� Syne says as he looks at it and the other dresses in the shop window.
Katie looks at Luna, �I have no reason to own a dress like that. There are no places to wear it. Not like back when we had the dances�.� she trails off, tears threatening again.
Vin_Da_DM: �They�ll be dancing again, someday.� Eclipse says to Katie trying to bring hope to that idea.
DracBlue: �So, why don�t you dance now?� as he starts dancing like ballroom dancer.
Clarice smiles as she hears Stryder in her mind, �Thank god,� she sighs. ~DO you need me to help with her?~
Katie smiles at Drac, �You dance divinely, Little Fuzz.�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei breaks away from the group heading for a ramp down to the next level.
Luna_Faline nods, �But we have time to kill, so go try it on. Play dress up for a change.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�ll see everyone back in the quarters. I have some things to do,� Alexei gives a shout and a small wave.
DracBlue: �Unfortunately this is all the bigger my race gets, so no dancing with you,� he says as he frowns.
Katie waves at Alexei, then turns to the shop again. �Y�know what, Kitty. I think you are right. I should just play dress up for once.�
Katie: �But not now. We are shopping for Kyra.� Katie pulls them into a shop with more practical clothes.
Luna_Faline enters the shop, dragging Eclipse with me. �Come on, this can be fun,� looking around at all the clothes and stuff.
DracBlue claps his hands at the words dress up.
Kyra whispers, �Aww, c�mon, McKinnon. Let�s go play for a few minutes.�
Claron: �I know that Stryder did what he had to, but it doesn�t stop the hurt�or the emptiness I am feeling right now.� A tear slides down her cheek, �Guess I still was hoping there was a way to bring her back to us��
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian stands outside the shop waiting by the door.
Katie sighs, �Very well,� and heads back to the shop with the dresses.
DracBlue starts polishing his vest and realizes he needs a new one, frowns and walks into the same store that Katie did.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne enters the store with the others and whistles, �All this cloth...all to cover your natural humanoid forms.� Syne shakes his head, �Oh well.�
Kyra pulls the dress down and hands it to Katie, �Go. Change. Now. We wanna see you shine.�
Luna_Faline finds a dress like the one in the window and holds it up to Katie as she enters �Hey, look! It�s your size!�
DracBlue: �Damn thing�s dying after only a hundred years of use�geesh, what crappy craftsmanship,� he sighs.
Vin_Da_DM: ~ I�ll manage.~ Stryder looks back at Cara then nods, �You�ll make it. Kabal may be gone, but I�ll help you.�
Luna_Faline waves a paw in front of my face, �So, that�s what smells,� wrinkling my nose at the dead vest.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse taps on his armor as he walks around the store, �Good thing I�m not very fashion reliant��
DracBlue looks at his armor and sighs, �If only they came in my size.�
Katie takes the dress, then goes and changes quickly. She strolls out, barefoot. The handkerchief skirt of the dress reaches only above the knee, the short sleeves are slashed to show gold and green beneath. The bodice is slashed similarly at the sides. The back plunges nearly to waist level. Katie twirls, her face radiant.
Kyra whistles, �Hot chick alert!�
Luna_Faline moves around the shop looking at various things, glances over at Katie, �Wow, that looks great on you.�
DracBlue: �What�s a chick?� he asks innocently.
Vin_Da_DM: The dress-shop owner comes out from behind her counter wearing a sleek black dress and a black cloth draping to either side of her ivory-white skin face. �The dress suits you, my dear.�
DracBlue: �I thought you were humans�� he says confused.
Cara: �You always were the strong one. Mom knew that�was why she locked you up. She found it harder to control you.�
Kyra laughs, �It means, a girl.�
Katie beams, �It�s gorgeous. But so impractical.�
DracBlue: �So, do I call her a chick then?� He asks again innocently.
Clarice: ~Alright.~ while glancing in the shop windows as she passes by them.
Kyra nods, �But you should soooo get it. If Shinta saw that, he�d melt.�
Luna_Faline shakes my head, �The green looks so good with your eyes. And every girl needs a dress like that in her closet just in case.�
Katie growls, �Shinta can go suck a lemon. He�s never around when I shop. I don�t want to think about him right now.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Call it an inherited trait�� Stryder looks at Cara with a stern look, �So, you will try to get along with the others?�
Luna_Faline roams around pulling things off the racks to look at then putting them back.
Katie looks at Luna with a grin. �Yeah, this is definitely the dress to have hanging in a girl�s closet for a rainy day, huh?�
Luna_Faline: �Yep, exactly.�
DracBlue frowns as no one answers him. He walks up to the shop keep and asks if they have aye shiny garments for him.
Kyra wanders, grabs something, scurries to the changing room, then comes out in an ice blue tea-length gown with silver thread shot through it.
Cara shakes her head, �I don�t know if I can make that promise. I don�t know even if I agreed to try�if I could even keep that promise.�
Katie smiles, �Lovely. Just lovely. You look amazing.�
Vin_Da_DM: The shop owner kneels down and looks at Drac, �We have some small sizes over here.� She motions towards a rack of clothing holding garments for small humanoids, �Perhaps, you can find something to suit you.�
Kyra: �Not too�fru-fru?� Kyra asks, twirling.
Katie: �Definitely not.� Katie nods admiringly.
DracBlue walks over and picks out a small shiny vest then walks over to the shop keep, knowing his size quite well, and holds his chip on his hand up to the shop keep.
Kyra looks at Drac. �Better not call a girl �chick� unless ya have permission,� she smiles.
Vin_Da_DM: Smiling at Drac she scans his chip and nods, �A good choice. Do enjoy it.�
DracBlue: �Then why did you, Kyra? I heard no permission given,� sighs again, not understanding humans at all.
Luna_Faline looks at Eclipse for a moment with a sly smile and a raised brow.
DracBlue pulls one of his three claws out ripping off his old vest to shreds and puts on the new one.
Kyra laughs, �Because a girl can call another girl a chick without permission. But males cannot.�
Katie and Kyra change back out of their dresses and come back out.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks over at Luna, looking somewhat disinterested in the clothing store but still browsing.
DracBlue: �But I�m not male or female�can I call her a chick then?� He asks confused.
Clarice catches a glimpse of Kyra in a pretty blue dress as she passes it, back tracking she enters the shop. �What a pretty dress. Looked very nice on you. Wouldn�t surprise me a bit if it turned Stryder�s head, too.� Chuckles softly.
Katie laughs, too.
Luna_Faline takes a dress and runs into the dressing room.
Kyra blushes, �Stryder doesn�t know I'm alive.�
Vin_Da_DM: I�m not even going to ask where I fall in the chick-permission-list.� Syne says with a chuckle.
Katie kneels in front of Drac, �You can call me Katie or Kat. Leave chick to human females, okay?�
Katie: Laughing she swats at Syne, �You call me enough things, I�m sure.�
Clarice: �Give him time. How could he not notice you? If he were to see you looking so fine as you did when I caught a glimpse of you through the shop window...�
DracBlue: �Okays.� He then sits down and wonders how his race can get along with humans so well if they have no gender.
Vin_Da_DM: �Only because you like me, Kat.� Syne smirks at her.
Kyra shakes her head sadly, �He has enough to deal with. A girl is the last thing he�s gonna care about.�
Katie laughs at Syne, her eyes twinkling merrily.
DracBlue: �But if I liked you enough on sight to call you purty, then he must like you in some way, Katie,� he says sheepishly.
Luna_Faline returns to the shop floor wearing a dress that is hot pink and bright purple tie-dye, with a long flowing flimsy skirt. The top is snug fitted and low cut, with thin straps going up to tie around the back of my neck.
Clarice: �This may be true at the moment, but don�t underestimate him or yourself,� smiling at Kyra.
Katie: �Only because you make me smile, you little rogue.� Katie grins.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks at Cara again, �Like I said...I�ll help you. I want to see you accepted. Hopefully fill up the spot that.�� He looks away. �Just try. That�s all I ask.�
Katie whistles at Luna, �You look great in that.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse lets out a sharp whistle at Luna, �Very nice.�
Luna_Faline spins around making the skirt float up around my legs, �Not too bright?�
DracBlue shrinks back covering his ears at the whistles, cringing.
Vin_Da_DM: The shop-owner sits on the edge of her counter watching the group with a small smile.
Katie puts an arm around Kyra, �I know just how you feel dear. I once had a guy that made my heart speed up, too. But he didn�t know how I felt. So, I�ve been there.�
Cara finds herself moving closer to Stryder, placing her hand on his shoulder, �You feel the emptiness, too.�
DracBlue gets out of the store and runs around the station making a cool breeze all around, even in the shops.
Kyra looks up at Katie and blushes again. Then she wanders over and looks at some leggings and tops.
Vin_Da_DM: �You have no idea�� Stryder says to Cara, �But it�s odd. She�s gone and yet the spot in my mind where she was...you�re there now.�
Claron rolls over on her stomach, burying her face into the pillow.
Luna_Faline looks in the mirror and studies the way the colors move as I swish the dress around.
Tabris sits down on the bed next to Claron and buries his head in his hands.
DracBlue stops at Stryder and Cara, �You were at the elevator with Katie. Are you her friends?�
Katie walks over to an emerald green gown, and runs a finger across it, closing her eyes and remembering.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse walks up behind Luna and wraps his hands around her. Looking in the mirror he smiles, �I think you look good in any dress.�
Katie: �Kyo,� she whispers, �I know you still hear me. And I�m trying. But he�s not making it easy on me.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder turns his gaze to Drac then looks at Cara. �Yes...and who are you exactly?�
Luna_Faline leans back against him and sways back and forth, �But you like it best when I don�t wear one at all?� teasing him with my smile, �It doesn�t have a place for my tail,� sighing.
Cara starts to wrap her arm around Stryder, but jerks away from him when she hears the sound of a new voice. �I don�t understand that myself. Kabal and I shared a bond, but I can�t recall hearing him speak to me in my mind...not like you have been doing to me.�
DracBlue: �DracBlue,� he says and looks at Cara, �Is she okay? She looks nervous.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m sure you could ask the shop keep to fix it to have one,� Eclipse says kissing Luna on the cheek.
Clarice moves around the shop looking at the various clothing in the store.
Vin_Da_DM: �She�ll be fine. Nice to meet you, Drac.� Stryder says giving Cara a look.
DracBlue: �If you say so, but she is rather jumpy.� Jumps again and runs back to the store where Katie is.
Katie: �There are times�� she murmurs, ��when I wonder if we really are meant to be together.�
Cara lowers her gaze. ~I won�t run...~
Luna_Faline closes my eyes as he kisses my cheek I turn in his embrace and hug him, resting my head against his chest purring, �You�re so sweet to me.�
DracBlue sees the kiss and blushes, �You do that in public?�
Claron cries herself into a restless sleep.
Katie turns and laughs, �Yep. We like to show affection. That is one of the ways.�
Vin_Da_DM: ~That�s all I ask.~ Stryder says as he moves out of the corridor back onto the promenade.
DracBlue goes wide eyed and says, �Well, you definitely don�t want to do that with me .��
Katie: �I remember a time when a young lad grabbed me and kissed me hard, before I could even gasp.� She closes her eyes and smiles dreamily.
Vin_Da_DM: �Need a fresh memory like that Kat?� Syne chimes in.
Cara follows Stryder out into the promenade.
Luna_Faline hears the conversation and turns my face the other way to hide my blush.
DracBlue turns from a pale blue to a sharp deep blue.
Kyra looks over her shoulder, �You look like the kinda girl who likes the hard fast kisses, now and then.�
Katie turns several shades of red.
Katie: �You offering?� grins at Syne, calling his bluff.
DracBlue runs up to Katie�s shoulder and asks, �Are you alright? You�re turning the color of blood.�
Katie blushes harder, swatting playfully at Drac, �Shush, you.�
Vin_Da_DM: �You accepting?� Syne winks at her.
DracBlue falls off Katie�s shoulder, hits the floor because he wasn�t expecting it and cries like a child.
Katie laughs, �A girl doesn�t always want to have to be asked.� She winks back. Then she pats Drac on the head. �Yer alright, beastie. Suck it up.�
Luna_Faline let�s go of Eclipse and steps back and looks at the shop owner. I smile and move over to whispurr to her. Then we head into the fitting room together.
DracBlue: �You�re mean,� he replies, �I was asking if you�re okay and you hurt me.�
Clarice shakes her head as she looks at a dress of white gossamer silk with blue metallic threads, pulling it off the rack her mind drifts back to a special night Tewyn and her shared.
Vin_Da_DM: �So...anything around here looking interesting?� Stryder says to Cara as he walks and looks around.
Clarice heads into a dressing room to try the dress on, suddenly stops dead in her tracks, �OHHHH! Sooo sorry,� seeing the shop owner messing with Luna_Faline�s tail.
Katie shakes her head, �Sorry, beastie. Wasn�t meanin� tae cause ya harm.�
Clarice moves over to the next booth and slips in to try the dress on.
Luna_Faline reappears a few moments latter with my tail proudly displayed.
Katie steps up to Syne, only a breath away, flutters her lashes, then pokes out her tongue and dances away, giggling.
DracBlue runs up Katie�s shoulders, sits back down and says, �Why were you bleeding?�
Katie: �And I was nae bleeding, beastie. Tis called a blush. People do that when
embarrassed.� Katie smiles.
DracBlue: �Oh, like me turning bluer?� he asks.
Luna_Faline goes back to mirror and Eclipse, grinning, �So?� Spinning slowly in front of the mirror again.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne grins at Katie, �I�ll take that as a possibly. Maybe I�ll just surprise you with it.� He chuckles.
Cara shakes her head, �Not really, at least not to me.�
Kyra picks out several outfits, then shows them to Katie for approval. Katie nods and goes to pay for the clothes. She gives Syne a saucy grin over her shoulder. �We�ll see, Rogue. We�ll see.�
DracBlue asks the Guardian, �How long do humans live?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Me either�� Stryder sighs, �Oh well...you hungry?�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian looks down at Drac, �On average healthy humans can get to around 120 years. More with genetic treatments.�
Clarice steps out into the shop wearing the new dress.
DracBlue eyes go wide, �Such a short lifespan.�
Cara: �Now that you mention it...food sounds good.�
DracBlue: �You and I must be the oldest here?� He asks innocently.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks over the edge of this level down below, �Looks like there�s some restaurants down by the garden.�
Katie wanders back over, her arms full.
Vin_Da_DM: �No. Eclipse is the oldest.� Guardian says to Drac.
Katie walks out and plops down on a bench in the main promenade.
DracBlue: �He looks no older than this human female!� He wonders if he�s older than his father. �Well, anyway�I�ve lived near 4 human lives, by my count.�
Cara: �I think you are right. SO, I guess we go down.�
Kyra wanders behind her looking at the flowers in the garden. �That shape
shifter is funny. Have you know him long?�
Katie: �Well, not really. I originally met him when he was in dog form. But since then we�ve seemed to hit it off pretty well. I count him among my friends.�
Kyra giggles �Dog, huh? THAT opens up possibilities.��
Clarice sighs as she heads back into the dressing to room to get back into her clothes. �Doubtful he would notice anyways.� returns the dress back to the rack she got it from.
Katie blushes again, �Don�t be vulgar,� but she begins to chuckle, too.
Vin_Da_DM: �So, 400 years or so?� Guardian questions Drac as he studies him.
Vin_Da_DM: �Buy it, we have enough.� Eclipse smiles at Luna.
DracBlue: �450 as of yesterday. Still no more than a child as my race goes,� he says kinda sorely.
Kyra giggles again, �He�s cool. I would think being around him has it�s uplifting moments. Especially when people are getting on your nerves.�
DracBlue: �If you would judge it in human span years I would be around 5,� he says glumly.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian nods, �I am somewhat older than that, but being what I am, age is meaningless.�
Clarice leaves the shop quietly.
Katie: �Oh yeah. You could say that. Syne is the one who keeps me smiling when I feel like there�s nothing to smile about. Life would get a lot more dreary without him. Someday he may choose to leave us, since he�s only stuck around this long to help us out.�
DracBlue: �My father is over 5000 years old and still running as fast as light,� smiles greatly.
Luna_Faline grins and moves over to a rack that has jackets on it. Picks out a nice deep purple leather knee length one. �This would be a nice change,� slipping it on over the dress to see if it fits, �I don�t think black boots will go with this very well.�
DracBlue starts cleaning himself like a cat.
Kyra nods, �Eclipse is an interesting one, too. Will you tell me about your crew?�
Katie: �Of course.� Katie begins to speak, telling of her early days in the military and telling her story�.
Luna_Faline looks around for shoes, but seeing none in this shop moves back to Eclipse �I guess I�m done here,� smiling.
DracBlue listens to every word Katie says.
Luna_Faline puts my hand on Eclipse�s arm and leans up to whispurr in his ear, �Take care of Clarice�s dress, too?�
Clarice sits down next to Katie and Kyra as she hears Katie begin to tell her story.
DracBlue pulls a candy bar looking thing out of his vest and with blurring speed eats it before one crumb can fall.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse nods as he pays the shopkeeper, who nods and smiles in return.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at Luna, �How about a walk through that park we saw earlier?�
Luna_Faline takes the bag with my black dress and boots in it from the shop owner, �That sounds nice.�
Kyra listens, enthralled.
DracBlue grabs a shiny pebble, diving for it like someone was going to grab it before him and holds it, saying �Ooooooooooooooo shiny.�
DracBlue throws the stone as far as he can away from him. Runs to it before it reaches the other side of the place, catches it and throws it again repeating the game.
Katie: When Katie finishes her story she smiles, �Ready to go look at shoes and weapons?�
Kyra nods, �Wow. No wonder you seem so fragmented.�
DracBlue then realizes his claws need sharpening from Katie�s comment and runs to find a sharpener.
Katie and Kyra get up and head to another shop, talking conspiratorially.
Claron begins to talk in her sleep while thrashing about, �Clarissa,...NO! Stop!...Don�t go near him! CLARISSA!!!!� bolting upright in the bed.
Vin_Da_DM: As the Warriors and company get settled in for the remainder of the lengthy customs inspections, only a couple days remain until they enter Gul-Qian space to seek their help in the war.
Vin_Da_DM: Elsewhere, outside a small battered ship pulls up to Gelfiven to dock. Inside the docking bay a robed alien exits his ship along with one large red and one large black robot. The pot mark on their hull half-hides a Rathron Bio-Tech symbol�
