Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: Working together, the Warriors, managed to dislodge the enemy ship from Ettik�s hull saving the living ship. Now free, repairs are underway and the skittering sounds of repair bots fill the main hallways.
Vin_Da_DM: Ettik�s low moans still occasionally echo throughout the ship as the Ettik is on-course to Gul-Qian territory and currently stuck using cruise engines. The thick fog of the nebula begins to thin out as Ettik continues to coast through the gassy clouds of purple and blue.
Vin_Da_DM: Elsewhere�
Vin_Da_DM: Exiting the portal Stryder finds himself on a stone balcony, part of a massive arena carved out of what appeared to be a giant crater. Overhead ash clouds block a clear view of the stars save a few empty patches.
Vin_Da_DM: Nighttime, he guessed due to the dark tint that clung to the sky as it slipped in and out of view between the clouds. Stryder took the scenery in only briefly before he heard the sounds of fighting and voices.
Vin_Da_DM: An all too familiar set of voices rang out from below as Stryder moved closer to the balcony ahead to get a better view of what his mind was already imagining.
Vin_Da_DM: �You won�t escape this time, you coward!� Stryder�s gaze switched to Kabal�s semi-distant figure as he listened to him shout.
Vin_Da_DM: �And keeping you alive no longer interests us,� Cara�s voice now, Stryder blinked as the purple flames around her spiked in a blaze of color.
Vin_Da_DM: Conflict seemed inevitable from what Stryder could gather from the current situation. If he was going to jump into the fray he would likely be set upon by both sides. Clarissa, no, she wasn�t his sister anymore.
Vin_Da_DM: The evil corruption whispered in his ear, a harsh opposite to the soft voice he had always gotten from her mind. Black Inferno would be the bigger threat, but killing her first could result in it possessing the nearest warm body.
Vin_Da_DM: Kabal could manipulate earth with the degree his father, Tewyn, could and his sister, Cara, possessed mage-fire, a likely gift from the recently deceased Shaiya. If Stryder had to choose, he would take out Kabal first, Cara was easier to deal with without his abilities.
Vin_Da_DM: But action had already begun while Stryder mentally debated his options. A massive explosion and roar echoed across the half-sphere coliseum as fireballs launched from both Cara and Clarissa collided halfway between the two.
Vin_Da_DM: While the smoke was clearing, Kabal stomped one foot down on the rocky dirt-ridden ground. This sent several worm like waves shooting that shot out spikes every few feet as they twisted around the ring. In a matter minutes only an untouched circle of ground around the twins remained on the arena floor.
Vin_Da_DM: They meant business, Stryder thought. Deep breaths, if he leapt over this railing he would have to play to win. Victory or death, as outdated as it sounded, were the only options for him. He had promised Clarissa that he would stop her should she turn to darkness again, and he would.
Vin_Da_DM: Taking what may be his last deep breath in this life; Stryder placed one hand on the railing and jumped over. Shimmering mid-fall to ensure a safe landing he reappeared on the area floor, perching himself on one of the larger spikes.
Vin_Da_DM: �Now that everyone is here, this party can really begin,� Clarissa�s eyes flashed for a second, the gold in them becoming as bright as a sun. Swinging the large knife in her hand in Stryder�s direction nearly a dozen giant swords of flame flew towards him.
Vin_Da_DM: A few bouts of teleportation had lost most of the pursuing fire blade, but a few continued after him. Kabal and Cara had taken this attack as a chance to launch their own. Unfortunately, the rolling boulder was easily turned into pebbles with little more than a glance from Clarissa.
Vin_Da_DM: Cara�s whip of purple flame struck at Clarissa, but was deflected by a nearly invisible flame shield surrounding Clarissa. Flowing white hair followed the devil�s look in Clarissa eyes she set about destroying, or trying to, her opponents.
Vin_Da_DM: With a blaze of fire that would have burned away any normal person to a crisp, Clarissa sends two arcs of red flames across the arena towards Stryder. Managing to dodge the first, the second caught him across the torso sending him into the surrounding tiered seating on the arena floor.
Vin_Da_DM: Almost instantly after sending the arcs she turned to Kabal and Cara. Kabal stabbed his sword into the ground causing two giant earthen golems to climb out of the ground near Clarissa. Twirling a hand towards the golems, Cara smirks as the surface of each golem ignites in her mage-fire.
Vin_Da_DM: Removing his sword from the ground with an upward slash, Kabal sends a large chunk of rock at Clarissa. Using a flame whip Clarissa destroys the chunk, but is surprised by the two golems who had taken the opening made by the distraction.
Vin_Da_DM: Broad sided by a massive stone first Clarissa was knocked to the side, but undamaged as her flame-shield absorbed the hit and powered down. The second golem tried to smash Clarissa, but the graceful curving slash of her whip severed its massive fist.
Vin_Da_DM: As the stone fist falls to the ground the fire that was covering it flows off and forms a fire golem equal in size to its earthen brothers.
Vin_Da_DM: �An extra challenge for her,� Cara says to Kabal as she watches Clarissa fight the golems. Grunting, Stryder pushes himself off the ground. Noticing the remnants of smoke coming from his shirt and jacket he sighs, �That�hurt.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I think you�ll want to stay out of this for now,� a voice comes from behind Stryder. Turning to look at its source, Stryder gives a confused look at the alien he sees. �Eclipse?� Stryder questions.
Vin_Da_DM: �No, I am Turian, but I know of whom you speak,� the alien says before resting a hand on Stryder�s shoulder. Feeling himself sitting down, Stryder eyes the alien�s hand, unsure if he was forcing him down or if he was doing it willingly, �Its better you let this battle play out.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Your fighting in it would result in more death than if you do not.� Turian says as Stryder studied him for a moment, then sighed. �Who are you anyway?� Stryder asks to which Turian glances at him and replies, �I am a light to darkness�that is all you need to know.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m not sure if I can sit here and do nothing. Even though she�s Black Inferno, she is still my sister.� Stryder says as he glances across the arena at Clarissa as she continues to fight the golems.
Vin_Da_DM: �In physical appearance only,� Turian turns his gaze to the ongoing battle as Clarissa manages to destroy an earth elemental, only to create more fire elemental from its rubble, �The Inferno destroys everything about its host that it does not find useful.�
Vin_Da_DM: �The connection between you and your sister is no doubt intriguing to it, but in order to defeat the Inferno you will have to use the full power of the link.� Turian eyes Stryder with a curious look that Stryder couldn�t decipher.
Vin_Da_DM: �The full power? I thought it was mainly telepathic?� Stryder gives a questioning look at Turian.
Vin_Da_DM: �You know that it is more. And when the time comes, you will know how to access it fully,� Turian nods without looking at Stryder this time, �Now, be silent and observe. Take note of anything that will aid you in your fight.�
Vin_Da_DM: Wanting to reply Stryder stays quiet and watches the battle. His mind a jumble of questions, who was this Turian, what was the link, and how would this battle unfold?
Vin_Da_DM: Meanwhile back on the Ettik�
Vin_Da_DM: *Time Passed: Several hours*
Vin_Da_DM: Outside the Ettik, the foggy nebula has all but disappeared giving a view to star-filled space. With only a small crackle the com comes to life with Alexei's voice, �Almost out of the dead space. Then another hour and we should be good enough for a hyperspace jump.�
Luna_Faline sits on my bed staring vacantly at the altar, breathing deeply.
Vin_Da_DM: The Guardian finishes welding the last piece of a bulkhead into place, then glances around at the cargo-room turned galley with a nod. �Should be good enough for the time being.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Keep staring and you�re liable to burn a hole in it,� Eclipse says as he crawls onto the bed and starts massaging Luna�s back.
Clarice wanders around the ship checking out how the ship repairs are going and wonders where the hell Tewyn got off to.
Luna_Faline blinks as my eyes refocus, �I can�t do that,� groans as he hits a sore spot, �Can I?�
Katie wanders through the halls, looking down the hall where her room is with trepidation.
Vin_Da_DM: �I don�t think so, but I�ve seen it before. Poor guy almost melted a painting one time.� Eclipse says with a chuckle as he moves his hands gently across Luna�s fur.
Vin_Da_DM: A repair-bot chirps at Katie from behind before scaling the wall and skittering on down the hall.
Kyra sits on a stack of boxes in what is to be the galley, swinging her legs and looking at the wall. �Kyn, I dunno if this was the best place for us to end up. That Scot�s chick still ain�t too happy to see us.�
Luna_Faline rolls my head slowly around, stretching the muscles in my neck and shoulders, �That feels so good.�
Claron: �Where the hell did Stryder go? Why hasn�t he checked in with us? Frankly, Tabris�I am getting worried,� as she looks into the cargo bay turned galley.
Katie watches the bot, cocking her head to the side, �What if I want to lay down?� she frowns.
Tabris: �Dunno...I haven�t seen him at all.� Tabris shrugs then looks over at Kyra with a raised brow.
Claron spots Kyra sitting on a stack of boxes, �You seen any sign of our son lately, Kyra?�
Kyra shakes her head, �Nope. Been wonderin� where he�s at, myself,� she looks at Claron.
Luna_Faline looks back over my shoulder at Eclipse, �Things just keep coming, don�t they? We never have any thing go easy.�
Vin_Da_DM: �You can use my quarters if you like, hard to sleep with an entire ship in your head.� Alexei�s Russian accent sounds from behind Katie, �And that thing was just making sure you knew it was there.�
Katie wrinkles her nose as her stomach growls, then shrugs and heads back toward the makeshift galley.
Clarice: �Tewyn, where are you?� she mutters as she looks inside various rooms.
Katie turns with a smile, �May take you up on that, old friend.� Then heads on.
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian moves over to several cargo containers and pries the lids off. Dragging out boxes, he sets them on a row of containers forming a make-shift counter. �Looks like there is some hot-pack meals, dried fruits and canned beverages.�
Katie: �Mmmm, fruit sounds heavenly right about now,� she says wandering through the door.
Vin_Da_DM: �Life is rarely easy...at least as far as experience has taught me.� Eclipse comments as he leans over and kisses Luna on the cheek.
Tabris: �Maybe Ettik can tell us where Stryder ran off to?� Tabris looks at Claron questioningly.
Claron smiles as Katie walks past them, �I was just thinking that very thing myself,� looking back at Tabris.
Luna_Faline sighs as he kisses me, �I know, Babe. And I�m almost always in the middle of something.� Leaning back against him I turn my head to kiss him back.
Vin_Da_DM: �I am not sure how long repairs to the galley will take, so try to take just enough to sate your appetites.� The Guardian says as he pushes the lids back on the cargo containers.
Katie: �Anyone seen our Rogue lately?� Katie peruses the packages, looking for the fruit.
Kyra hops off her perch and approaches Katie cautiously, looking at the food. �Who?�
Luna_Faline turns a little and settles against Eclipse�s chest. �Do you smell anything different since we cleared the other ship out?� looking up at his face, �Or rather not smell something?�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei�s voice comes on the com in the galley, �Ettik just did a scan and...that�s odd...it�s telling me that Stryder�s bio-sign isn�t onboard.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Not sure...what smell are you talking about?� Eclipse looks at Luna slightly confused.
Katie: With a mild frown Katie looks at Kyra, �Syne. Tall fella. Shape-shifter.�
Kyra nods with a smile, �Oh yeah. He scared the hell out of me earlier. Haven�t seen him lately, though.�
Luna_Faline: �I can�t quite put my paw on it, but something is missing, or maybe it�s someone. Of course we have the new girl on board, but still. I didn�t catch any signs of Tewyn or Shinta during all the mess either.�
Katie: �Speaking of which�has anyone seen Shinta either? I�m worried.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Saying bad things about me behind my back, Kat?� Syne says as he pads into the galley in dog form. Hopping up onto the counter he looks inside the boxes, �I smell chakan root in here��
Claron: �GONE?.. No!...There has to be some mistake...tell me its a mistake,� her eyes showing great concern.
Katie laughs, �I�ll say �em in front of you, too. You know me well enough by now.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Now that you mention it, I don�t recall seeing either of them lately,� Eclipse says looking out the window in thought, �Haven�t seen Stryder either.�
Clarice stops dead in her tracks. �Any signs of where our Drow may be?� asks upon hearing Alexei�s voice.
Luna_Faline takes a deep breath, �That�s who is missing, Stryder.�
Tabris: �I hope it�s a mistake...but I think I�ll have a look around using my own scanning.� Tabris looks at Claron.
Clarice shakes her head as she feels her temper beginning to flare, �Damn it, Tewyn...I am not in the mood to play hide and seek��
Katie leans against the makeshift counter lightly, �I wish I knew where Shinta was.� She sighs, �I can�t shake the feeling he�s buried under several tons of debris.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Shaman guy? Last I knew he was sleeping while sitting in a room with a view...forward observation, I think it was called.� Syne says as he pulls a bag out from the box and tears it open with his paws.
Claron nods her head, �That�s a good idea�� Moves over towards an unopened crate in the galley and sits down on it.
Katie looks relieved, �Ah. Well, at least he�s alive.� She pops some fruit in her mouth, remembering feeding Shinta fruit and cheese before the other ship so rudely intruded. �He still owes me that meal.� She smiles softly.
Tabris leaves the galley and heads out into the hallway to look for Stryder.
Kyra snags a drink and returns to her perch, and her leg-swinging.
Vin_Da_DM: Clarice hears a small beep as a slightly blurry holographic map appears on the wall near her. A blinking light is shown in a room across the ship from her.
Luna_Faline pats Eclipse on the thigh, �Do you have any idea of what could have happened to Stryder?�
Vin_Da_DM: �So, how you doing kid?� Syne says as he totes his bag over to the floor near Kyra�s perch and begins eating.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m not sure...with his ability to teleport he could have gone anywhere.� Eclipse shrugs, �Wish i knew more.�
Clarice sighs disgruntledly as she turns around and heads back in the direction from which she came��I give up�� as she moves over to the wall leans against it, �I don�t know where else to look.�
Kyra looks over at him, �Still a little weirded out, quite honestly.� She reaches a hesitant hand out to touch his head, �Wow. You feel like a real dog.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Wouldn�t be a very good shifter if I wasn�t an exact copy of the original.� Syne says as he gobbles down several wiry roots from the bag.
Kyra grins, �I guess not. Sorry for acting like such a dweeb. It�s just so damn cool.�
^Shinta opens his eyes. �Hopefully things are almost complete now,� looking out of the view in front of him.
Katie: �Watch your mouth,� Katie growls at Kyra.
Kyra: �Yer not my mom.� Kyra shoots back with a glare.
Tewyn tries moving his leg again, �Guess that blip didn�t work, aye Ettik? Picked wrong time to make that wrong turn.�
Vin_Da_DM: The view port taking up the front wall of the room gives Shinta a clear view of the stars ahead of the ship. A planet, though still distant, is beginning to come into view.
Luna_Faline thinks about Stryder for a moment, �You don�t think he jumped ship, do you?� Sits up and looks out the portal, �Why would he do that?�
Clarice catches a glimpse of the holograph as she faintly hears the beep��Don�t it just figure, I been looking on the wrong side of the ship.�� Turning around and heading back to the other side of the ship in the direction the map showed her.
Vin_Da_DM: �Ladies, no need to fuss over ol� me,� Syne says looking between Katie and Kyra.
^Shinta stands, �Well, seems we have reached some destination.�
^Shinta walks out into the hall in search of others.
Kyra looks at him with a confused expression, while Katie laughs. �Oh, get over yourself, Rogue. You ain�t the center of the universe.� She tells him.
Tabris turns a corner in the hallway and notices Shinta. Stopping he looks at him, �Well, haven�t seen you in a few...haven�t seen my son by chance, have you Shinta?�
^Shinta shakes his head, �Sorry, I have not.�
Katie turns back to Kyra. �No, I ain�t yer mama. I�d have taught you better manners.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Of course not...it�s bright and boring there. I wouldn�t recommend wasting your time to visit,� Syne says as he grabs the empty bag with his mouth and carts it back over the box.
Kyra pokes a tongue out.
Clarice races through the halls and into the room that the map indicated while calling out, �Tewyn!�
Tewyn: �I�m in here being squashed like a bug.�
Katie: "Gads you are such a brat." Katie grits her teeth.
Kyra: �Yeah, well you act like an uptight bitch. Need to get laid?� Kyra hops off her box and wanders to the far wall.
Clarice moves toward the sound of Tewyn�s voice, checking to see what it is that is squashing him.
^Shinta turns a corner hearing Katie, �Are you grumpy again?�
Vin_Da_DM: �No idea...since we lost Clarissa he�s been acting strange at times,� Eclipse says as he turns his attention back to Luna.
Tabris continues down another hallway, �Stryder? Where the hell did that son of mine run off to?��
Vin_Da_DM: Tewyn is pinned by a bent section of bulkhead, a lone repair bot is attempting to cut away the section around him, chirping idly as it cuts.
Katie closes her eyes and swears under her breath, �My sex life�or lack of one�is NOT something I intend to discuss with a snot-nosed punk. Like you know all about sex. Actually, I don�t want to know what kind of morals you've got.� She turns to Shinta. �I am not being grumpy. That little beast is pushing my buttons.�
Claron sits quietly on top of the crate fearing the worst.
^Shinta walks over to Katie and kisses her deeply, �There, you calm downed now?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Do not worry, I�m sure he is safe. He is a Warrior, he can handle himself,� the Guardian says to Claron as he offers her a beverage can and hot-pack of food.
Katie lays her head on his shoulder, still cursing, �Can I throw her off the ship, please?�
Vin_Da_DM: �It�s a big ship, I�m sure the two of you could be separated easy enough,� Syne says to Katie.
^Shinta: �Or you can see the old you inside her�and try to help her�remember she is the one alone here.�
Katie: �I�d like to separate her head from her body,� Katie grumbles.
^Shinta clears his throat giving Katie a look.
Katie: �The old me?� Katie looks incredulous, �I never acted like that to my elders.�
Luna_Faline slides to the edge of the bed and reaches for my boots, �I hope he knows what he�s doing.�
^Shinta nods, �But you did hide behind a mask that was not you...did you not?�
Katie thinks for a moment, �Well, actually, I guess I did. Oh hell.�
Tewyn: �If this damn things keeps chirping I�m gonna become a walking parrot.�
Clarice races over to Tewyn and sees the lone bot trying to cut him out. �I have been looking for you for hours��
Kyra smirks from her spot across the room, �Yeah. Take her and do something with her, wouldja? She�s like PMS personified.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Let�s hope so,� Eclipse climbs off the bed and slides on his own pair of boots. �So, where are we going?�
Tewyn: �Well, I�ve been a bit occupied, dear.�
Luna_Faline slides my feet into my boots one at a time as I grumble, �Do you think this group stands a chance of getting together and working as a team?�
Katie growls, �I�m�going to�rip you a new�hole�I swear. �
^Shinta holds Katie back. �Let me this time.�
Clarice: �Guess you aren�t hurt too badly if you can make jokes about this��
Tewyn: �When I can feel my leg�I�ll let you know.�
Kyra pales a bit, �Okay, sorry. I know we started off on the wrong foot. I�ll behave if you do.�
^Shinta walks over to Kyra and looks her over. �I remember you being around.�
Clarice: �What? You can�t feel anything in that leg?� checking to see if there is another way to get Tewyn out from under the bulkhead.
Luna_Faline looks around for my dress, holds my paw out and the lump in the corner slides over and flows up to me.
Tewyn: �I think it fell asleep, but haven�t seen any blood yet, so that�s a plus.�
Kyra nods, �You were always watching her. What�s the deal with you two? She was married. You her side-piece? Where�s her husband?�
Katie sighs, �He�he died, Kyra.�
Kyra: �Omigod. What an ass I am.� Kyra puts her head in her hand.
Vin_Da_DM: The repair-bot swivels it�s �eye� around to Clarice and chitters at her. Then swivels to finish the last bit of cutting that loosens the section pinning Tewyn�s leg.
Kyra: �How?�� she peeks through her fingers, �How did it happen?� She walks over and stands near Shinta and Katie.
Claron looks up at the Guardian, �Why would he have left? He had to been in the other ship...that�s the only thing I can think of�� taking the food and drink from the Guardian.
Katie sits on a box. �A raid.� She looks at the floor.
Vin_Da_DM: �Good to know your powers save time getting dressed,� Eclipse smirks at Luna as he slides on the forearm sections of his armor.
Tewyn starts pushing at the debris again.
Clarice: �Nothing else hurts?�
Tewyn: �Well, not yet.�
Luna_Faline stands up and slips the dress on laughing, �Well, at least finding the pieces anyway.�
Kyra: Nodding, Kyra sits next to her. �That�s what happened to my folks. I�m sorry. So, you and him were just friends?�
Vin_Da_DM: The debris shifts at Tewyn pushes it, but looks as though it needs more force on it. The repair bot looks at Clarice and chirps again.
Luna_Faline hands Eclipse a piece of armor, �Here is something.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse nods and takes the armor piece, �Chest plate...don�t think I need it unless we plan on getting shot at.�
^Shinta looks at Kyra, �So you know the feeling of loss as well?�
Katie: �Very good friends. He�s been quietly watching over me for years.� She smiles at Shinta, �He knew someone very dear to me.�
Luna_Faline picks up my amulet and untangles the chain, �Well, we never know when that is going to happen.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne sits on the floor listening to Kyra and Katie talk.
^Shinta: �And as far as being her side piece, no that was not the case...I was keeping my promise to a very old friend.�
Kyra nods. �Only too well. My parents died when I was 15. We barely escaped.�
Clarice sees the debris move and begins to concentrate on making an ice wedge underneath it, in hopes of it lifting it up enough to remove Tewyn�s leg from underneath it.
Katie: �We?� Katie looks at her oddly.
Vin_Da_DM: �If he left, I�m sure he had a good reason to,� Guardian says to Claron as he sits next to her, �I would guess it had something to do with his sister.�
Kyra: �Yeah,� Kyra nods emphatically. �Kyndra and me. We were lucky as hell to have gotten away.�
Tewyn: �You trying to put me on ice now?�
Claron: �That's what I am afraid of�� as tears well up in her eyes.
^Shinta: �Was this your sibling?�
Vin_Da_DM: Between the ice wedge and Tewyn�s pushing the section of bulkhead moves and clangs to the floor, freeing Tewyn�s leg from being pinned.
Kyra gets up, looking uncomfortable. �Kyndra is my twin.� She looks at the boxes idly.
Vin_Da_DM: �I suppose not,� Eclipse says as he secures the last pieces of his armor, giving himself a quick look over in the bathroom mirror.
Tewyn: �Well, here comes the pins and needles.�
^Shinta nods, �And where is she now?�
Luna_Faline growls as the chain gets even more tangled, tosses it onto the altar and picks up the holster to strap to my thigh.
Clarice: �If I wanted to put you on ice�I could have very easily done it without having to make an ice wedge,� slipping her arms around Tewyn. �Lets get you standing��
Tewyn: �Oh, cant I just lay here and chirp with the mechanical birdy?�
Kyra: Giving a careless shrug Kyra picks up another can, fiddling with it. �Kyndra just kinda goes where she wants.�
^Shinta gives Katie a smile and looks back at Kyra. �I have a friend like that.�
Clarice: �I thought you had heard enough of the chirping, but if that�s what you want to do��
Tewyn smacks Clarice in the back of the head. �Are you fucking insane! Get me out of here.�
Kyra turns and gives him an odd look.
Vin_Da_DM: The repair bot looks at Tewyn and gives a chirp that sounds like an insult before skittering across the floor and working on another section of bulkhead.
Tewyn: �Well, chirpy chirp chirp!! To you too, buddy!!�
^Shinta waves his hand and Remy appears by Kyra, �Meet my free spirit friend.�
Kyra screams and backs up, tripping over another box.
Luna_Faline reaches for the sai and it rises up off the altar and meets my paw gracefully, slipping it into the holster.
Tabris: �Damn it...he really did leave.� Tabris curses and pounds the bulkhead with his fist. �Where the hell did you go, Stryder?�
Katie puts a hand on Shinta�s arm, �Put him back.� She gets up to help Kyra, �It�s okay, honey. He scares the shit out of me, too.�
^Shinta laughs, �He is pretty much harmless, that is unless your packing g strings�seems to be a thing for him��
Kyra crab-walks further away.
^Shinta nods, �Well, okay...just thought they could talk sometimes, seems they are close in age.�
^Shinta waves his hand and Remy vanishes again.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne chuckles a bit, �With the exception that one is transparent.�
Katie turns with a frown, �Well, you don�t just spring him on her. We�ve all gotten used to your talent.�
Clarice feels the smack in the back of her head as she lifts Tewyn to standing and concentrates on sending a cold chill throughout out his body. �I wouldn�t do that again�� as they move out of the room.
Vin_Da_DM: �All suited up...now let�s hope I don�t need it.� Eclipse says as he walks across the room to the doorway.
^Shinta smiles has he sees Katie comforting Kyra, �Did if spring him on her or you? Seems he helped bring an end to some hostility...you two should talk...I�ll leave you for a bit,� walking away.
Tewyn: �You love it and you know it, trying to play cold bitch doesn�t work...killed that one remember.�
Clarice: �I should have just dropped you on your ass and left you to crawl your way out.�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei�s voice comes over the coms again, �We�ve cleared the dead space zone. Coming up on an planet that appears to have an old hyper-gate. Should work to get us back on course.�
Luna_Faline runs my fingers thru my mane, then picks up the necklace again. �So, I guess we should go check in with the rest of the crew,� picking at the knot as I walk out the door.
Vin_Da_DM: �Probably,� Eclipse heads out into the hall with Luna watching her with the necklace, �Need help with that?�
Katie helps Kyra up, holding her till she�s steady. �Well, you've just witnessed the most frightening thing about him. He carries souls with him at all times. It takes some getting used to. I wouldn�t let him near me when he first joined.� She smiles sympathetically.
Luna_Faline sighs and hands it to him, �I don�t know how that happened,� winking at him with a smile.
Kyea: �Oh, my goddess.� Kyra says shakily, �So, you just kind of accept that happening all the time?�
Clarice feels her temper flaring, �I don�t have to play at being a cold bitch�� as she takes on her ice form.
Katie laughs. �Oh no. I still scream when Remy sneaks up on me. Remy is that see-through kid, by the way.�
Tewyn: �Oh, PMSing again�okay, I�ll sleep on the sofa this week,� kissing her cheek.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse takes the amulet and looks over the knotted chain, �Certainly did a number on it.� Cupping the knotted section between his hands he nods, �Just a little bit and�� sliding his other hand away he hands Luna the amulet back, chain straight and un-knotted, �Good as new.�
Luna_Faline walks down the hall with Eclipse, I look down a hall off to the side and sees Tewyn stuck to Clarice�s cheek, �Oh that�s cute.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Ghosts, super-powers, robots, a living ship and a shape-shifter. All we need are some tents and we can be a space circus.� Syne chuckles as he looks at Katie and Kyra.
Katie giggles, �Got that right.�
Clarice: �New meaning for lip-lock, eh?�
Luna_Faline slips the chain over my head, �Do you two need any help over there?� trying not to laugh out loud.
Tewyn: �Well, you can stay a cold hearted bitch and lug me around all day...or play nice.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse eyes Tewyn and Clarice as he stands next to Luna.
Tabris sighs heavily and slumps down against the wall in the hallway, �Gone...I sure hope Stryder isn�t running off like I did��
Luna_Faline nudges Eclipse lightly in the side and whispurrs, �What do you think about that?�
Clarice: �What?...You aren�t liking this form of foreplay?�
Tewyn: �I was having more fun with chirpy in there.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Might want to check Tewyn�s leg out...he�s not putting weight on it,� Eclipse whispers to Luna.
Luna_Faline looks Tewyn up and down slowly, �Do I have to?� asks softly.
Clarice: �Better do that in this room over here,� as she turns around and reenters the room she took Tewyn out of. Removing her ice armor she drops him soundly on his ass.
Tewyn lands with a thud, �Better be lucky�I didn�t want to make a yellow icy.�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian gets up from his spot next to Claron and looks at her, �Trust that your son will return safely. Until then it is best you not worry too much.�
Clarice: �Your wish is my command�enjoy the chirping�� as she turns and leaves the room.
Luna_Faline shrugs and starts toward the pair, �Just be glad I�m in a gracious mood, remember I don�t heal stupidity,� as I kneel next to Tewyn and run a paw lightly over his leg.
Tewyn waves bye, �Chirping over bitchiness anytime, deary.�
Claron: �I find that to be easier said�then done...I am afraid.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse watches Clarice as she leaves, �Glad to see you two are getting along��
Katie sits Kyra back down on a box, �Okay, I suppose we DID get off on the wrong foot. Bygones?�
Tewyn looks back to the bot, �Honey, I�m home!!�
Luna_Faline heals the leg, then pushes Tewyn back to the ground. �What are you? Brain dead?� as I stand an follow Clarice out the door.
Kyra nods, �Bygones,� she sighs, �You people are weird, but I get the feeling things are never dull around here.�
Tewyn looks at Luna_Faline, �Nope, not really...not like I didn�t try and tell her where I was...but�oh well, let her be another Shayia.�
Katie: Letting out a laugh Katie pats her arm, �That I can guarantee.�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian �blinks� and nods to Claron, �Have faith, Claron.� Giving her a polite head-bow he goes back to sorting cargo containers.
Luna_Faline looks up at Eclipse as I pass him, hearing Tewyn�s words, �He better be glad he said that after I healed him,� growling as I run after Clarice.
Kyra looks thoughtful for a moment. �So�are you and��the ghost whisperer� a couple?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at Tewyn, then heads after Luna.
Katie stares at the door pensively, �I don�t know if that�s something that�s been completely resolved or not. But, I guess you could say yes, more or less.�
Luna_Faline grumbles and growls behind Clarice, �What the hell do you see in that asshole?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Still a few singles on this boat,� Syne comments to Kyra and Katie�s conversation with a doggish-grin.
Kyra: �Awww, that�s kinda sweet, actually. Longtime friends turned lovers.� Kyra sighs dramatically, �Soooooo�what�s the story with Stryder?�
Claron: �I will try�� setting the untouched food and drink on the crate beside her. �What can I do to help? Maybe working will help take my mind off of it.�
Katie raises a brow at Syne, then laughs and winks, �Oh baby, you know I love yer doggie-style.�
Kyra shakes her head, �Oh, yer all weird.�
Clarice stops and turns to face Luna_Faline. �I am beginning to wonder myself�� lowering her gaze so that Luna_Faline can�t see the tears forming in her eyes.
Vin_Da_DM: �Ettik�s repair bots are doing most of the work,� Guardian looks over at Claron, �Perhaps you can check on the botanical bay?�
^Shinta peaks his head around the corner, �Is that so?�
Katie laughs harder, �Syne and I always have to have the last word on each other.�
Luna_Faline reaches out and takes Clarice in her arms, holding her tight and whispurring �I�m sorry, honey.�
Claron nods her head, "I can do that," sliding off the crate and heading out of the makeshift galley towards the botanical bay.
Katie pokes a tongue out at Shinta, �Eavesdropper.� She giggles.
^Shinta gives a innocent look, �Was not me.�
Kyra eyes Shinta and Katie and Syne like they�ve lost their minds.
Vin_Da_DM: �Interesting how he pays attention after hearing the words �doggie-style�, eh?� Syne snickers.
Katie: �Just what I was thinking,� Katie wheezes, �But then, having nothing to base it on, he�s gotta be curious.�
^Shinta: �Shhh, Katie, will ya...now, who is spilling news on sex lives?�
Luna_Faline looks over Clarice�s shoulder at Eclipse and shakes my head at him.
Katie winks, �Well, just cuz neither of us has ever HAD doggie-style�� she doubles over laughing till tears spill.
Kyra looks aghast, �Oh, so at least I�ve got the upper hand on THAT knowledge.�� Then she blushes and bites her lip.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks concerned and nods to Luna, �Want me to go check on the others?�
Clarice: �Why would you be sorry? It�s my problem...not yours,� as she pulls away from Luna. �I need to think.� Clarice heads off down the hallway.
^Shinta: �Well, someone is adventurous then.�
Katie wheezes harder, �Oh Goddess. Outdone by a teenager.�
Luna_Faline watches Clarice walk away then turns to go with Eclipse again. �I swear he�s gonna get killed one of these days, and I�m not gonna heal him next time.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Phew...now we�re becoming the galactic love-boat.� Syne says as he pads a few feet away and shifts into his human form, clothing and all.
^Shinta: �Guess we have things to learn yet.�
Kyra looks at Syne with wide eyes, �That�s soooo cool,� she breathes, trying not to notice the other two oddballs.
Vin_Da_DM: �Nothing special, kid, really.� Syne says giving her a half-smirk with his gruff human face.
Katie dries her eyes, her breath still hitching, �See? Told ya we don�t do �boring�.�
Vin_Da_DM: �He may, just hope that it isn�t one of us trying to do so,� Eclipse says to Luna.
Claron pushes the door open to the botanical bay.
^Shinta goes to stand beside Katie again.
Kyra: �I�m afraid to find out just what�or who ya do,� Kyra smirks, �But back to my question�what�s the story on Stryder?�
Vin_Da_DM: As Claron pushes the door open the mixed smell of plant life hits her nose. The room itself looks undamaged but several potted plants are overturned and dirt is scattered across the floor.
Luna_Faline nods, �If it is one of us trying, I won�t try to stop them.�
Katie wipes her eyes again, �That you would have to get from his family. I don�t know very much about him.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Don�t know much �cept he teleports, blows stuff up and misses his sister,� Syne says as he grabs a beverage can and pops it open.
Kyra nods, �He�s�different. I sense it. There�s something dark going on behind those eyes.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I think I would stop them,� Eclipse sighs a bit, �Only because I�d rather not lose anyone else.�
Katie: With a sigh, Katie nods, �That may well be true. His family has suffered horribly.�
Claron�s nose is instantly assaulted by mixed aromas of the plant life, �Not much damage in here�� as she steps inside the room and begins to pick up the overturned potted plants.
Luna_Faline takes Eclipse�s hand in my paw and squeezes it.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at Luna as she squeezes his hand, �I think I hear the others up ahead.�
Katie: �Lots of suffering around here, it seems. At least I�m not the only one with demons.� Kyra says quietly.
Luna_Faline nods and moves on with him. �I smell�food? Is that possible?�
Katie looks at Shinta, then back at Kyra, �No, that you aren�t. Plenty of that to go around, here.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Lucky ol' Gabe ain�t around, he might take offense,� Syne smirks as he listens to Kyra and Katie.
Vin_Da_DM: �Probably, not all the food was kept in the galley,� Eclipse says as they near the cargo-bay turned galley.
Clarice wanders aimlessly through the ship�s corridors, berating herself for not controlling her temper.
Tabris looks up from his spot on the floor leaning against the wall to Clarice, noticing her down the hall. �Clarice, still looking for Tewyn?�
Luna_Faline steps into the new galley, �I didn�t think of that.� Sees Katie�s red face and looks around at the others, �What�s going on in here?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Oh, you know...same ol� same ol�,� Syne says to Luna giving both of them a small wave, �Foods in the boxes over there if you guys are hungry.�
Claron places the last of the potted plants back on the table, �Wonder if Tabris had any luck?� she thinks to herself as she locates the push broom and begins to work on cleaning the floor up of the dirt.
Luna_Faline smiles at Syne as I move toward the boxes.
Vin_Da_DM: Claron notices a small lizard on the floor crawl away from the broom and disappear behind a small set of bushes.
Clarice hears Tabris question. �No, I finally found him,� as she moves closer to Tabris. �Where�s my sister?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Let�s see what the selection is,� Eclipse looks in the boxes, �Drinks, dried food and�� Eclipse picks up one of the silvery hot-packs, �Tear to heat, instant meals.�
Tabris: �In the galley, last I knew,� Tabris sighs heavily, �You haven�t seen Stryder have you? He seems to have jumped ship��
Claron: �Hmmm�� as she sees the lizard go behind the bushes.
Luna_Faline looks at the offerings from the crates, picks a can drink and something marked trail-mix, �I think I'll stay away from those for now,� looking at the instant meal packs.
Clarice: �No, haven�t seen him for several hours...jumped ship?� Her eyes widen, �You don�t think he somehow boarded that other ship?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse shrugs and grabs a drink and one of the silvery packs. Moving over to a group of cargo boxes around a larger, serving as a table and seats, he looks at the packet, �Hmm...roast turkey in gravy. Sounds interesting.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I don�t know...he can teleport. And he�s been acting like�� Tabris looks at Clarice then looks away stopping mid-sentence.
Luna_Faline moves to sit across from him and opens the drink, �Diet Coke? Where are these from?� as I take a drink then burp in surprise, �Oh my.�
Clarice: �Acting like what? What is it you aren�t saying, Tabris?�
Vin_Da_DM: Finishing off his drink can Syne crushes it and tosses it into the empty container serving as a garbage can.
Kyra looks at the can in Luna�s hand, �Hmm. That looks like an interesting thing.� She grabs one of her own. Taking a long drink, she coughs, nearly shooting it out her nose �Oh, that tickles!�
Luna_Faline sets the can down and opens the bag of trail mix and takes a paw full to nibble on, �So, Kyra, how are you settling in?�
Vin_Da_DM: Guardian looks over at Luna as he uncovers another container to check contents, �Alexei said they were �better than the other emergency rations� offered at the last outpost.�
Kyra: �Okay, I guess.� Kyra eyes the drink, then takes a gingerly sip. �Ohhhh. Much better if ya take it slowly.�
Luna_Faline looks over at Guardian, �Have you had any contacts lately?�
Katie: �What in the hell are you drinking?� Katie grabs a can curiously, popping it open and sipping, �Oh dear Goddess, that's good.� She slurps some more.
Vin_Da_DM: �What do you mean?� Guardian asks Luna as he takes note of a containers contents and covers it.
Katie brings it back and offers Shinta a drink.
Vin_Da_DM: "Pretty much all tastes the same to me, but glad to see you guys are enjoying it,� Syne comments about the food as he watches them eat and drink.
Luna_Faline settles a dull stare on Guardian, �I know you get messages, so is there any thing we should know?�
^Shinta: �What is it?� looking at the can.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse sniffs the meal pack after he tears it open and watches the steam rise out of it. Grabbing the plastic fork that came with it he tastes it, �Mmm...not bad.�
Claron finishes clearing the dirt from the floor, returns the broom back to its corner, then sets about resetting the plants in the pots that had been overturned.
Katie: �I dunno, but it tickles your throat. It�s good.� Katie smiles.
Clarice: �Tabris, looking like what?� asks again.
^Shinta takes a sip then sticks out his tongue with a astonished expression, �It�s popping on my tongue!�
Vin_Da_DM: �I haven't received any reports since General Neroosh notified me the invasion had started,� the Guardian looks at Luna with a nod.
Katie nods with a grin, �I know. Isn�t it strange?�
^Shinta: �Definitely not the tea I�m used to.�
Luna_Faline nods at Guardian, then looks at Shinta. �Is that the first thing to ever pop on your tongue?�
Tabris finally looks at Clarice and shakes his head, �I hope I�m wrong, but I�m beginning to think Stryder�s suffering from the same psychological problems that both my father and I did��
^Shinta: �Yes, Luna_Faline, pretty much it is...as a monk, I don�t allow myself with much more than what is a necessity�splurging never really a option.�
Katie laughs, �Well, we�re teaching you all sorts of bad habits, now aren�t we?� she runs a finger over his chest lightly.
Luna_Faline glances from Shinta to Katie, then back. �No splurging, right?...You�re a monk, right?� then settles a look at Eclipse and winks.
^Shinta: �Guess you are.�
Kyra shakes her head and mutters under her breath, �Oh, get a room already.�
Clarice: �IF you are right...all the more reason we should find him. Is there any way to stop it?�
^Shinta looks at Luna_Faline, �No, no splurging, A monk can find love...but one he feels will not wither...feelings for Katie here, would not of been spoken for a mere fling.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at Luna then takes another bite from his meal pack. Lifting his soda can he looks at it, �Looks like I got a different kind, �Sprite�.�
Katie blushes and turns her attention to her can, �Mountain Dew. Now, that just sounds vulgar.�
Luna_Faline smiles at Eclipse and trades cans with him, taking a drink. �Hmmmmm,� belches loudly, �Oh, my goddess.�
Tabris: �Now that we�re in this universe...I doubt it.� Tabris sighs heavily, �I just hope he doesn�t hurt anyone like I did��
Tewyn looks at the bot working in his room and chirps at him, �So, how�s the wife and kids?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse takes a drink from Luna�s can then looks at it, �Not bad.�
Vin_Da_DM: The repair bot continues to chirp idly as it works. Swiveling it�s �eye� at Tewyn it watches him for a moment..
Claron finishes up with the repotting and removes the gloves she had put on her hands before starting the process. Laying them down next to the pot she just finished, she looks around the room one more time to make sure she hasn�t missed anything.
Tewyn: �That well, huh?...Good to hear.�
Luna_Faline smiles at Eclipse, �So, Shinta, you�ve spoken feelings for Katie have ya now?�
Vin_Da_DM: Claron notices a small rose bush in the corner of the room, it�s vibrantly colored roses opened in the direction of the lamp above them.
Clarice: �Then this is definitely not a good a thing,� while thinking to herself, �.... and I think I have problems.��
Katie continues looking at her can, stealing glances at Shinta out of the corner of her eye.
Tabris: �What�s giving you problems?� Tabris asks Clarice, hoping to lose his own for a while by asking her.
^Shinta: �Somehow, I think she has known for a while now...but hopefully my actions have spoken volumes to her.�
^Shinta raises her chin gently with his hand and glances into Katie�s eyes, �Or shall I speak a bit louder?�
Luna_Faline looks over at Shinta, �Actions can be misinterpreted, I think the spoken word would go a greater distance.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Getting kind of quiet over here kid, you doing okay?� Syne says leaning against a container near Kyra.
Tewyn removes his shirt and uses it for a pillow against the sheared bulkhead, �Nite father chirp, nite lil chirp, nite baby chirp, nite chirp junior.�
Claron eyes light up as she catches a glimpse of the colorful roses off in the corner. Making her way over to them, memories of a rose garden overwhelm her.
Kyra nods, watching Katie and Shinta curiously. �I�m fine.� She says quietly. �Have they been doing this romantic tension thing long?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Pretty aren�t they?� Alexei�s voice sounds from the doorway to the botanical bay as he glances at Claron.
Katie smiles, �You know, you�ve never really come right out and said�.� she breaks off, her eyes soft.
^Shinta: �Then guess I better speak louder.�
Katie closes her eyes, �We�ve kinda saved the actual words for�when things settle down a bit, I guess.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Not sure...I�m not the best person to ask about humanoid romance,� Syne shrugs as he looks at Kyra.
Luna_Faline shakes my head, �Don�t do that, things never settle down with us.�
Kyra shakes her head, �Grownups are so weird anyhow.�
Clarice halfheartedly smiles, �Am I that transparent?... I--I...I think I made a mountain out of a mole hill...let my temper get the best of me.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Things settle down...they just get mixed up more,� Eclipse replies to Luna�s comment.
^Shinta locks his eyes with hers. �I loved you from the days of watching over you, waiting, longing to be the one you came to find comfort in the arms of�I want you to be my first, my last...my only real love.�
Katie: �Well, things are still kinda new.� Katie looks at Luna, �We don�t want to rush anything.�
^Shinta looks at Luna_Faline, �Something like that?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Runs in your family I�d say,� Tabris manages a smile at Clarice, �Problems with the drow?�
Claron turns to look at Alexei, �They are beautiful, reminds me of a different time and place.�
Katie�s eyes widen.
Vin_Da_DM: �Grownups, eh? And how old are you, kid?� Syne asks with some curiosity.
Luna_Faline smiles at Shinta, �Yea, something like that,� looking over at Katie.
Katie: Taking Shinta�s hand, Katie lays it against her face, flashing a megawatt smile.
Vin_Da_DM: �Aye...when I look at them I think of a dark-skinned woman,� Alexei pauses for a second to study the roses, �I�m not sure who she was, but she cared for me.�
Kyra shrugs, �I�m seventeen.�
^Shinta caresses Katie�s face, �I don�t want to make the mistake of the one who brought us together did...you should know how I feel.�
Katie nods, her eyes pooling.
Clarice: �No...maybe...HELL�I don�t know. I need to sort it out in my own mind first.�
Luna_Faline blinks and looks down at my snack for a moment.
Vin_Da_DM: �Just a kid,� Syne nods.
^Shinta: �Now, now, no crying,� kissing her forehead.
Vin_Da_DM: �That bad, eh?� Tabris looks at Clarice and pats the floor next to him, �Have a seat if you like, it�s as good a place as any to sort your thoughts.�
Katie: �Kyo never thought that anything would part us. Neither did I. My feelings for you are so wrapped up in what I had with him. I just don�t want there to be any confusion when it comes to us�to�that. I know I love you. But are you willing to wait until I separate what I once had, with what is mine for the asking here and now?� Katie�s eyes shine with a million emotions.
Luna_Faline looks across at Eclipse and sighs as I rest my chin in my paw.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse puts his food to the side and extends a hand to Luna�s cheek and caresses it, �You okay?�
Claron moves closer to Alexei, �Yes...D�� Starts to say the name of the dark skinned woman, but stops knowing that Alexei probably still has no memory of her. �Reminds me of my Granny, Uncle and home��
Kyra: �I may be a kid, in your eyes, but I�ve lived a lot in my seventeen years.� Kyra looks mildly affronted.
^Shinta nods, �I waited this long to tell you where my heart lies...I can wait for you to find what is there in yours.�
Clarice nods her head as she sits down on the floor next to Tabris.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei nods, �We�re going to warp now. Should reach the edge of Gul-Qian space within the next day or so.�
Luna_Faline rubs against his hand, �Yea, I�m fine.�
Katie leans up to kiss Shinta softly, tenderly, reverently. �You are so much more than I deserve.� She puts her head on his shoulder.
Vin_Da_DM: �Good, now stay that way for as long as you can,� Eclipse smiles at Luna.
^Shinta returns the kiss and just holds Katie.
Luna_Faline turns my head and kisses the palm of his hand, �As long as your with me, I�ll stay this way forever.�
Clarice leans her head back up against the wall.
Vin_Da_DM: �It has been quite the journey hasn�t it?� Tabris looks over at Clarice as he leans his head back, �From being in the military to being on a living ship in the middle of nowhere.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Feel free to come here whenever you like,� Alexei says to Claron as he turns to leave.
Clarice: �It has been quite a journey��
Katie: �What a wild ride, huh? Military, death, dancing, explosions, love, more death, being rebuilt, watching from afar, saying goodbye to a way of life�sometimes I think it�s a miracle we�ve managed to find what we have.� Katie snuggles her face into Shinta�s neck and wraps her arms around his waist. �Thanks for sticking around, Shaman. I�d be lost without your love.�
Claron: �I just may take you up on that offer, Alexei,� as he starts to leave.
^Shinta: �Never lost, I�d always be around to find you again.�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei looks over his shoulder at Claron, then speaks hesitantly, �I loved her, didn�t I?�
Claron: �Yes, you did.�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei nods silently and leaves the botanical bay.
Katie kisses his neck. �Somehow, I think you would.� She smiles and snuggles close, fitting her body against his.
Vin_Da_DM: With only the slightest rumble Ettik opens a hyperspace field using the old hyper-gate and slips inside. The usual array of colors signal the transition as the Ettik zooms off into hyperspace, bound for the vastly unknown Gul-Qian territory.
Vin_Da_DM: Elsewhere�As Clarissa downs the last elemental her eyes blaze. Riding a rolling earth wave, Kabal heads directly for her while Cara strikes with a mage-fire attack consisting of meteor-like fireballs raining down into the arena.
Vin_Da_DM: As Kabal jumps from his wave and strikes a meteor with his sword, sending an array of smaller meteors at Clarissa as he sails through the air over them to strike her from above.
Vin_Da_DM: Seemingly ignoring everything around her, Clarissa lets Kabal descend and at the last moment brings her hand up in a swift motion. The flaming whip flows from her fingertips spearing Kabal several times through the chest.
Vin_Da_DM: As the life drains from his eyes the mage-fire rain stops and Cara�s scream echoes across the coliseum, �Kabal!!!!!!!!!� With her voice both angry and sorrowful, Cara screams, Clarissa lifts her gaze to Cara with a vile grin.
Vin_Da_DM: �You want him back? Catch�� Clarissa tosses Kabal at Cara using the fire whip. His body crashed into Cara and knocks her off her feet and into the wall behind her knocking her unconscious, bleeding from the head.
Vin_Da_DM: Turian stands and looks at Stryder, then out at Clarissa, �It is time. Do what you came here to do,� he pats Stryder on the shoulder. Stryder stands and looks across the smoking field at Clarissa and slowly walks down toward the arena floor.
Vin_Da_DM: Turian�s voice catches Stryder softly, �Good luck.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Finally decided to face me, Brother?� Clarissa�s voice echoes with Inferno�s corruption, �You shall fall just as easily as they did.� She motions towards Cara with Kabal�s body slumped next to her.
Vin_Da_DM: �We�ll see about that�� Stryder glances at Clarissa, giving her a second of shock as his eyes flare with a fiery glow, �I�m stronger than you think.� Taking a step forward, Stryder narrows his gaze at her.
Vin_Da_DM: ~Forgive me, Sis.~ Stryder says quietly in his mind, and drawing his blade he charges�
