Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: On their journey to Corrin the Warriors were ordered ahead with the scouts to survey the oncoming troops of the Dark Army. Once at Corrin the Warriors met the three commanders of the army that faced them.
Vin_Da_DM: Luercas, the vampire lord. Dumeeria, a mysterious shadow-magic user and Rhade, an lightning elemental. During the battle, following an attack that grounded Rhade, his elemental ability shifted and he displayed familiar looking geomancy skills.
Vin_Da_DM: Using his powers he killed Dumeeria, one of his fellow Knights. After this strange occurrence it was discovered that Rhade was actually Cara�s brother, Kabal, who was believed dead after their battle against Black Inferno Clarissa.
Vin_Da_DM: Kabal gave a warning that the attack on Corrin was merely a ruse to draw the 1st Regiment and the Warriors away from the main front of the war as the main bulk of the Dark Army began a heavy offensive.
Vin_Da_DM: *Time passed: None*
Vin_Da_DM: The rest of the regiment arrives, Lord Diego looks across the field at the demons retreating, shifting his glance to the Warriors. Noticing the bodies he raises a brow, �Seems the battle is already over. I would inquire as to how you incited a retreat in their forces so quickly.�
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
DracBlue gets up rubbing his head and holding a vial while saying, �I�m going to kill me a warlock.�
Luna_Faline looks at Kabal, �It was a diversion? I knew it!� growls as she jumps onto Mah�s back quickly, �We have to get home fast!�
^Richard^: �Well, if at first you don�t succeed, my friend�it will result in a permanent negative mark on your record, followed by death.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse quickly creates his shadow-beast, giving a raised brow to the new sword in his hand. �Not entirely sure I trust this thing��
Cara�s eyes follow Luna as she quickly mounts Mah.
^Richard^: �Don�t worry, Eclipse. It doesn�t seem to talk, and if it does�I suggest you disregard it�s advice.�
DracBlue gets up and looks around, spotting everyone. �There he is�the damn prankster.�
Vin_Da_DM: ~Disregarding my advice is your own risk to take.~ Morthoseth hums with a black aura for a moment.
Luna_Faline nudges Mah and he takes off for home, hanging onto his neck. �I hope we�re not too late.�
DracBlue walks towards Richard looking pissed.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse rides after Luna, looking back at everyone as he does.
DracBlue stops and looks around. �Hey! Where is the annoying demon?�
^Richard^: �His mother called him home for dinner.�
Katie wanders over and helps Claron onto Obsidian, �We gotta get back, Claron. Selenia needs us.�
Vin_Da_DM: Diego watches Luna and Eclipse ride off and sighs, �Very well...appears we are heading back to Aventine, then, if there�s nothing left to do here.�
Claron stands looking out across the horizon, lost-like when Katie�s voice sounds gently in her ear.
Kyra climbs onto Robin and heads off after Luna and Eclipse.
DracBlue says, �We�ll call him back. We�ll need him. And if am going to hurt you later for that vial you made me drink.�
Luna_Faline holds her sword tightly in her paw as Mah�s stride lengthens out.
Tabris: �We�d better get going, Luna�s already ditched us,� Tabris sighs and looks over at Claron and Katie.
DracBlue takes to the air and flies above Cara.
^Richard^: �Ok, have it your way.�
Katie nods, hopping onto Ki�lin and jerking her head for Tab to hurry.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder jumps up on Cyan and follows Kyra, glancing back at Cara and the new Kabal.
Cara heads toward Flare, glancing quickly at Kabal, �You can ride with me.�
Tabris climbs on the unicorn with Katie, looking back at Claron. �She looks a little lost...don�t suppose there�s anything I can say.�
Katie reaches back and pats Tab�s knee fondly. �Not just yet. But soon, I promise.� With that, she nudges Ki�lin into motion gesturing for Obsidian to follow.
Luna_Faline glances back over her shoulder and sees Eclipse following closely.
Vin_Da_DM: Kabal tilts his head, his eyes showing amusement, �Don�t need the horse. Like Father, I have my own way to get around.� Shifting his feet on the ground the dirt under his feet trembles and creates a rocky surfboard.
DracBlue looks down at Kabal, �Interesting.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne morphs into a black bird form and flies up next to Drac, �You slept through the battle...it was meant to be a short break.�
DracBlue holds up the vial, �I think Richard tried to poison me, but my immune system just made me sleep.�
Vin_Da_DM: �And we�re letting him hang with us, why?� Syne tilts his wings to catch the wind as he circles Drac.
DracBlue sighs, �I don�t know, but it wasn�t me that recruited him. It was demon boy. By the way�you seen him?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse catches up with Luna and rides next to her and Mah, �I doubt the Dark Army has made it to the city walls, but with a heavy offensive, they�ll get there within a few days.�
Cara smiles as she watches Kabal, �It shall be interesting to watch the terra surfing war when it happens.� Chuckles to herself as she pictures Kabal and her father terra surfing, extreme style.
Luna_Faline looks over at Eclipse, �You think they aren�t on the horizon already?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Dad�s got a good lead on me in that department, but I�m sure we have some tricks to show one another.� Kabal says as he ride on his terra-wave next to Cara.
Clarice follows behind the others riding Ceru.
Vin_Da_DM: �I don�t think so.� Eclipse looks ahead, �But the only way to know for sure would be to investigate. Which could take awhile�� Looking at Luna he sighs a bit. �Not to mention it�s dangerous.� Eclipse adds.
Luna_Faline shakes her head, but doesn�t slow Mah down any. �I don�t think they would wait to attack Aventine. I bet they were just waiting for us to leave.�
D_V_S: A large crack in the earth forms and Valrash�s hand climbs out of Hell.
Valrash waves back to the succubus that led him out.
Valrash climbs the rest of the way out and says, �That�s something I soon will not forget.�
Valrash looks around to only see Richard.
Valrash gets on his horse, ropes Richard and drags him behind him.
Luna_Faline looks at Eclipse, �Investigate how?�
Vin_Da_DM: �The same way I do most things,� Eclipse looks at Luna giving her a nod. �But with my sister accompanying the Dark Army. She�ll likely discover what I�m doing.�
Luna_Faline nods, �I don�t know if we need to go to that extreme, yet.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Then we must press on, I guess.� Eclipse says giving another nod to Luna.
DracBlue flies down closer to where Cara is, but far enough away to give privacy.
Luna_Faline looks at the sword held so tightly in her paw and wonders, ~Are you always so quiet?~
DracBlue starts munching on the iron bars he has.
Cara glances up over her shoulder spotting Drac trying to keep a discreet distance from her.
Vin_Da_DM: As you ride down the road, time around you seems to stop. Birds frozen mid-flight, the wind stuck blowing the tall grass across the plains, even the clouds in the sky hang motionless like a canvas painting.
Vin_Da_DM: Then, as if a mirror, the world shatters around you and is replaced by a momentary darkness before you begin finding yourselves in familiar places.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna and Eclipse find themselves on the battlements of Aventine, looking into the city, no longer pristine, but war torn. Kyra and Stryder are met with a rustic lakeside cabin, sounds of laughter nearby. Claron find herself in the woods, while Tabris finds himself in a dark alley, faint red sky peering through the city dome.
Vin_Da_DM: Clarice notices a familiar room, a long haired man staring at her from his throne-like seat. Katie finds in a battle-worn city, Syne, a few feet away from her, in human form. Valrash notices a familiar fiery landscape out of a window, a home from his past. Drac finds himself on the edge of a quarry, the sight of dark elves punishing their slaves below.
DracBlue looks around in shock at this sight, knowing full well where he is.
Valrash jumps and says, �I�m home?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse blinks then glances around, �I know this place��
Kyra looks startled, �What in the name of��
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks around then at Kyra, �Um...what the hell just happened?�
Luna_Faline looks down and emits a sigh full of pain, �I hoped I would never see it like this again.�
Katie blinks a few times, looking around, then shoots a puzzled frown at Syne.
Tabris looks around, memory slowly recalling where he is, �This better not be what I think it is.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne doesn�t look at Katie, but instead seems to be looking for something amongst the debris and rubble. In the distant Katie hears familiar cries of shape-shifters, followed by a fiery explosion.
Kyra shrugs, �This looks like Grandy�s cabin.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Pitiful, a race broken on the rocks of this quarry, all hope denied them by their dark masters.� A calm, almost emotionless voice sounds besides Drac. A woman in revealing brown cloth, with folded pieces covering her eyes looks at Drac.
Vin_Da_DM: �How did we get here...and where is here?� Stryder questions Kyra again, looking all kinds of confused.
Katie stumbles over the debris at the sound of the explosion, a soft cry escaping her
Claron�s eyes widen, igniting flickering flames of recognition as she soaks in her surroundings.
DracBlue looks at the woman, �Is it you who is making me see this?� he looks crushed.
Vin_Da_DM: The long haired man stands and approaches Clarice, �You thought to oppose me, daughter. I am glad your clones show no such dis-respect!�
Kyra: �I�m not sure how we got here�but this appears to be my grandmother�s place. My sister and I used to come here in the summer to spend some time with her.� Kyra sighs.
Clarice stands looking defiantly at her father.
Vin_Da_DM: Kyra notices a younger version of herself and her sister run out of the cabin and down towards the lake. Both stop to stare at Stryder and Kyra in confusion and surprise.
Kyra: �Oh, Kyn�� Kyra whispers brokenly.
Valrash walks over to the window sill and looks outside, still unbelieving of what is happening.
Luna_Faline looks at Eclipse, �How did we get here?�
Vin_Da_DM: Claron hears the sounds of a familiar voice, full of sorrow as he talks to himself.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m not sure, looked like a�� Eclipse�s sentence is broken by a deafening roar as a dragon flies overhead, sending a column of flame down at a group of Aventinian soldiers.
Claron lets her eyes roam around the surroundings as she hears the sound of the familiar sorrowful voice.
Katie lands on her hands and knees in the rubble, her eyes wide.
Luna_Faline stares up at the dragon in shock. �This just can�t be happening.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Making you see it?� The woman laughs, �This was...you see what has already been seen.�
Vin_Da_DM: �If we have been sent where I think, it is happening.� Eclipse says as he stares at the dragon, his expression showing recognition.
Kyra reaches out for her twin, then stops as she sees herself staring back at her. �We shouldn�t be here. We�re freaking them�us�them�out �� her voice trails off.
DracBlue looks at the woman closely, �Who are you?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Who are you two?� Younger Kyra looks at Kyra still confused, but with a friendly smile.
Vin_Da_DM: �I am, that is all you need to know.� She looks down at the quarry, �You know this time. Do you intend to sit here and do nothing? Your people suffer in chains as we speak.�
Luna_Faline shakes her head, �Who is that, Eclipse?�
DracBlue looks at the woman, �I will not act. I know what will happen�with or without my help.�
Tabris continues down the alley, watching in awe as he sees a hover truck pass by, �Mars Cargo model...the past. Wonder who�s messing with me now.�
Kyra takes a deep breath. �Just wandering strangers. We saw the lake and it looked inviting.� She smiles back uncertainly.
Vin_Da_DM: �Xerez�� Eclipse looks around the battlements, �Over here.� He moves towards a ramp leading down into the city.
DracBlue then states, �Anyone who fought them died. The women freed us�eventually�that�s why my race responds so well to women.�
Vin_Da_DM: �So you would risk your very existence on inaction?� The woman smirks at Drac, a sly smirk.
Luna_Faline follows Eclipse down the ramp, �Where are we going?�
Vin_Da_DM: Young Kyra looks at Stryder, then whispers something to Kyndra and giggles.
DracBlue grabs his head with his hands, �Why are you people always so mean?� He sits down very confused and watches the mayhem of the slave labor.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne continues climbing over and upturning rubble as Katie watches. Moving a particularly large piece out of the way he stares underneath at something out of Katie�s view.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, seems the past moves despite your inaction,� the woman looks to the side as a pair of patrolling dark elves spot Drac. Leaning next to him she whispers, �The choice is yours, destruction or salvation.�
Vin_Da_DM: The woman disappears
Vin_Da_DM: �Nothing to say?� Clarice�s father paces a circle around her.
DracBlue stands up and looks at the patrolling dark elves and smiles wickedly.
Tabris: Before he reaches the end of the alley Tabris finds himself surrounded by shady looking thugs, several bearing sharp objects. �Gentleman...nice night for a walk.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks over at Kyra, �Well, if we shouldn�t be here...where do we go?�
Clarice stares off at the distant wall, trying to concentrate on something other than her father. �What would you like me to say? Which lie shall I start with first?�
Katie scrabbles over the rocks to get a look at what Syne has found.
Vin_Da_DM: Valrash hears a knocking on a door behind him, �Val, are you going to spend all morning in there?�
Valrash looks at the door and walks to it and opens it.
Kyra watches herself peering at Stryder and giggling. �Even then, I liked redheads, apparently,� she says softly to herself. Then, hearing Stryder�s question, gives him a confused look. �I don�t know, exactly.�
Kyra sees Kyndra whisper something back, and watches her younger self get indignant. �You are such a heathen, Kyn.� Her miniature says, stomping a foot.
Vin_Da_DM: Katie sees her own broken body, Syne kneels down and pulls her from the rubble. Turning his head he looks past Katie, �I found one!� he shouts. �Bring them here.� A voice calls back to Syne from somewhere behind Katie.
Vin_Da_DM: Valrash is greeted with a wide grin from his mother, long black hair framing her soft face. �Well, it�s about time, Val. Are you ready?�
Katie�s eyes widen further. �You�found�me?� She whispers, realizing he can�t see or hear her. �It was your kind who found what remained of me after�after�� she swallows hard, then continues, �after Tab went crazy and�� she screws her eyes shut tight, trying to block out the sight of herself laying there, charred and broken.
Valrash hugs his mother and sighs into her clothing, �It is good to see you again, Mother. How did I get home?�
Vin_Da_DM: Clarice�s father glares at her, then backhands her firmly, �Such ill manners. If you will speak only lies to me, then I have no further use for you.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks back at Luna, �There must be a reason we are here...and if there is, I�m betting I know where.�
DracBlue runs up to the dark elves and slashes at them with his claws trying to decapitate them.
Vin_Da_DM: �Get home? What are you talking about, did you sneak out last night?!� Valrash�s mother gives him a stern motherly look.
Katie stumbles back a few steps, then opens her eyes, watching as she is lifted gently and carried from her impromptu tomb.
Valrash steps back, �What are you talking about? I�ve been away from home for years now�as you told me to travel with the Warriors.�
Vin_Da_DM: One of the dark elves holds up a rune stone to Drac, which stops him in his track, causing him pain with a overwhelming feeling of despair. The second spits at him, �Dirty trash trying to escape.�
Luna_Faline looks around the city as we make our way thru it, �I hope you�re right,� glances to see if we both still have our swords.
Clarice feels her head snap sideways. �Oh, you�d prefer I remain the frightened lil girl, the one that you control and manipulate!�
DracBlue gets up and keeps moving to the men slashing at them.
Vin_Da_DM: Morthoseth and Luciendar are still with Eclipse and Luna, but seem oddly silent and inactive.
Claron wonders why she can only hear the sorrowful familiar voice and not see them physically.
Vin_Da_DM: �Hmm, he�s resisting it.� The dark elf says as he moves back from Drac. The second casts a spell that knocks Drac back, very close to the cliff�s edge.
Vin_Da_DM: Valrash�s mother looks at him oddly, �How do you know about that, Val?�
DracBlue flies up in the air in tremendous pain and shoots the quills of his feathers at the two men with his super strength.
Valrash then says exasperated, �I�ve been traveling for years now.�
Valrash turns to Richard, �You did this, didn�t you?�you mischievous little undead man.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne carries Katie over towards a robed Nevirus, one of the races of the Gul-Qian. The Nevirus holds a purple stone over Katie, it glows softly as he moves it over her body. �She is salvageable...we must go quickly.�
Vin_Da_DM: The elves crumple from Drac�s attack, down in the quarry chaos erupts as guard horns sound and dark elf and slave alike begin shouting.
^Richard^: �You know�being undead�isn�t as fun as it used to be.�
Katie: �Salvageable.� Katie grumbles, �Make me sound like a frackin� hover-car left on the side of the road.�
DracBlue lands and begins to move away from the pit.
Valrash says, �What? You didn�t do this ?�
^Richard^: �I�m sorry, I wasn�t paying attention. What were you saying?�
Valrash says to Richard, �We�re in my home. Did you take us here?�
^Richard^: �I do strange things when I�m asleep, I guess.�
Vin_Da_DM: The Nevirus and Syne carry Katie away from the debris. The Nevirus opens a portal and moves through it, Syne follows him looking down at Katie, �Don�t worry, angel. You�ll have your wings back in no time. But you�ll fly in a different sky.�
Vin_Da_DM: The portal they travel through remains open, almost as if waiting for Katie to follow them.
Katie stops and gapes at Syne. �Angel?� She whispers, �Oh, Syne�I�� then clamps her lips shut and scurries through the portal after them.
Valrash turns back to his mother, �Wait�what day is it?�
Vin_Da_DM: Luna and Eclipse make their way through the ruined streets of Aventine, crawling through a hole in the castle wall in time to see the dragon land in the burning gardens. A black robed figure slides off the dragon and looks at the castle.
Luna_Faline watches the robed figure with her paw clenched tightly around the sword hilt growling, �We have to stop him.�
Tabris looks at the men around him in the alley, �Don�t all talk at once�� Vaguely remembering the faces, Tabris pauses for a second, thinking to himself. ~It�s that night...but it�s the past, if I change it... ~
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, what is it we are supposed to see here?� Stryder looks at Kyra questioningly.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at Luna, then behind them hearing approaching footsteps, �We�ve got company, I suggest we find a hiding place.�
DracBlue hurries along, but then realizes and says out loud, �I�m the diversion�the women get the others away from the men.�
Vin_Da_DM: Drac notices the chaos has spread, members of his own race, aided by the female dark elves are trying to escape. Male dark elves pursue them, attacking both with no prejudice.
Kyra: �I�m not sure.� Kyra whispers, still watching the twins whispering furiously back and forth.
Luna_Faline looks behind me then around for a hiding place. �Over there,� pulling him towards a dark alcove set back into the garden wall.
Vin_Da_DM: Valrash�s mother blinks, glancing between Val and Richard, �It�s the holiday, I told you we were going to be having a serious talk, I don�t think it�s a good time for your friends to be over.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Any clue as to what they�re talking about?� Stryder watches the twins.
DracBlue turns back and sends a volley of his wing feathers at some of the male elves, and then, flying towards another group of the males and lands. Claws drawn, he claws a good portion of dirt and throws it at another group of males.
Valrash says, �You might want to go and check the garden, or have one of the maids do it.� He says remembering he was in the garden that day.
Vin_Da_DM: On the other side of the portal Katie watches Syne and the Nevirus as they carry Katie through a doorway to a circular chamber. Laying her down on a table in the center of the room, Syne steps back. �She�ll be like the others when she�s awake, won�t see? Memory loss an� all.�
Kyra gives Stryder a sideways glance� �Well�uh�knowing how it felt to be fourteen and budding�then I would guess they are making comments about what a handsome rascal you are, and wondering if they could steal you away from the old hag you�re standing next to,� the corners of her lips twitch.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder chuckles, �Old hag...you�re not that much older than they are.�
Kyra: �Oh, I would have looked ancient to me, back then.� Kyra begins to giggle.
Vin_Da_DM: After following the voice Claron finds Tabris with herself, frozen. With tears flowing Tabris is digging up dirt with his hands.
Vin_Da_DM: Clarice gets silence from her father as he motions to his guards, who aim their weapons at her.
Claron gasps, �How can this be?� then continues, �I-I am here...can�t you hear me?�
Tabris stops and looks around, then down at frozen Claron. Touching her cheek with a dirt stained hand he lowers his head.
Katie watches, holding her breath, curious to see how she was �repaired�.
Vin_Da_DM: �What�s in the garden?� Valrash�s mother looks confused, but motions at someone down the hallway out of sight.
Valrash says, �I just need you to trust your son enough to look there�please, Mother.� He looks a little weirded out.
Vin_Da_DM: The Nevirus looks at Syne, �You have done your part, now you must leave so we can begin the restoration.� Syne nods, then looks down at Katie, �See you around, angel.�
Claron�s eyes desperately try to make contact with Tabris, �Don�t give up on me...I�m still here.�
Katie smiles to herself. �Oh yes, you most certainly will, Rogue.�
Vin_Da_DM: Claron�s words don�t seem to reach Tabris, as he mournfully continues digging the grave.
Claron screams out, �No! NO! Don�t put me in the ground, �I�m still alive!!!�
D_V_S: A portal appears near Drac, and a stout dwarf steps through it. He walks behind Drac and stops him as well as the time around the two.
DracBlue stops looking around and notices Shadow standing behind him.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse watches as the man is joined by several black-armored soldiers. Surrounding him defensively, they all walk towards the castle. The robed man motions to the two soldiers in the lead, �I want that door opened, now.�
Vin_Da_DM: The soldiers jog several paces ahead and begin pounding the castle doors with fireballs.
Luna_Faline whispurrs very softly, �We have to stop them.�
Shadow asks, �What in the world are you doing, lad. Come�its time to stop this.�
Vin_Da_DM: Valrash�s mother nods and leaves to check on the garden.
DracBlue says, �But they need me here.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse moves carefully behind the blackened shrubs and flowerbeds getting a closer look at the soldiers assaulting the door.
Clarice wipes blood away from the split lip caused by her father�s hand with a brush of her own hand across her lips.
Luna_Faline sneaks along the wall following Eclipse, sword held ready to fight.
Shadow says, �No�they don�t, lad. It�s time to come with me.� Saying nothing more, they both seemingly appear right in the middle of a forest.
Tabris looks at the thugs around him again, �I�d love to give up my money...but I�m afraid I left my credits elsewhere. I can go get them for you�� Slugging one of thugs Tabris makes a run for it.
DracBlue says, �You have got to teach me that one.�
Vin_Da_DM: For Claron, Tabris moves into a position so that he can lift Claron to put her in the ground.
Shadow says, �Can�t�trade secret.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, I could try getting us out of here,� Stryder looks at Kyra with a
Shadow says, �DracBlue, I need you to stay here�while I fix something. Will you do that for me?�
DracBlue still looking around amazed says, �Sure, I can do that.�
Claron screams out, �No! No! IT can�t END like this. HEAR me, Tabris! Please! Oh, help me!�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse watches steadily, surveying the arrangement as he mutters to himself, �Two guards made it...the other four. Could that be��
Shadow says, �Thanks,� and disappears in a puff of black smoke.
Kyra: �Yeah. It�s a bit mortifying seeing myself with such bad hair.� Kyra says absently, her eyes drinking in her Grandy�s cabin where she�d played with her sister all her life. Where some of her best memories came from.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, have a good day, ladies.� Stryder smiles at them then turns to walk with Kyra somewhere out of view.
Kyra gives them one last look, an aching sadness filling her chest that she can�t explain.
Valrash looks at Richard, �What do you think is going on here? If you didn�t do this, than who�or what did?�
Vin_Da_DM: As Syne leaves the chamber it seals. The Nevirus sheds his robe and begins emitting a soft light from his hands. Placing them on Katie�s body the entire room floods with light as faded looking energy strands flow out of Katie�s body. The Nevirus works his hands around them and they begin to brighten.
^Richard^: �Ok�I think everything is fucked up�and oh look, I said something there. I�m sure everyone�s very happy.�
Valrash looks at Richard like he has gone overboard, �What are you talking about?�
Katie stares at her body, watching the process that brought her back to those she cherished.
Vin_Da_DM: �So...Kyra. What happened to your sister anyway?� Stryder looks at her with question and concern on his face.
Claron tries, or it least imagines she�s shaking her head, �Come on, Claron...Calm down....Think...There has to be a way. What�s the worst thing that could happen? You die trying...fighting to the end��
Kyra gives him a blank look. �I don�t know what you are talking about. Nothing happened to her.� Her chin lifts a notch stubbornly.
Vin_Da_DM: As the Nevirus finishes with a majority of the energy strands, he looks at the one coming from Katie�s head. Working his hands around it, it brightens but remains dim in spots. Shaking his head he looks down at her, �I did what I can, child. The rest you must remember on your own.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Then is she on a planet somewhere?� Stryder looks at Kyra.
Kyra: �She�s wherever she wants to be.� Kyra looks away.
Vin_Da_DM: �What does that mean?� Stryder questions, looking confused now.
Katie bites her lip. �I�m trying my best. I�ve gotten most of it back. Even the things I don�t want to remember.�
Tabris rounds a corner, but finds that his pursuers are just as quick, if not faster than he. �Aww, hell...I never did run enough as a kid��
Vin_Da_DM: Claron watches as her frozen body moves slightly, Tabris blinks watching her.
Kyra: �Well,� Kyra scuffs her foot in the dirt. �I haven�t seen her in a long time. But�she stays in touch. We talk when she�s not busy with whatever she�s doing.�
Luna_Faline ears twitch listening to Eclipse mumbling about two�s and four�s.
Vin_Da_DM: Valrash hears his mother down the hallway talking to someone, �I�m worried...I�m not sure he�s ready to be sent out to find them.�
Vin_Da_DM: The soldiers manage to break through the castle doors and continue inside. The robed man follows them. Eclipse looks at Luna, then jumps out tackling the one of the four remaining guards.
Luna_Faline watches Eclipse take down one of the guards, but waits to see if he needs help.
Vin_Da_DM: The Nevirus finishes with Katie and room dims. Gathering his robe he looks down at her, �Rest now...a new journey awaits you, child.�
Claron continues to look in Tabris� eyes, �If you only knew how much love reflects from their very depths. What I would give to see them twinkle again like when you are in a playful mood,� sighing deeply, she sends her warm breath across the sheet of ice surrounding her.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse motions Luna into the fray as he sinks his sword in the guard and moves onto the next one.
Luna_Faline runs out from the alcove towards the guards and kicks one in the gut as she drives her sword thru a second guard�s chest.
Katie bows her head, �At least, now�I know what happened after my run-in with Psycho DuVallis.�
Vin_Da_DM: To Claron, Tabris notices Claron moving and seems hopeful, �Movement? You�re not dead...come on, show me that smile.�
Vin_Da_DM: Finishing off the last guard Eclipse looks at Luna, �The others went inside.�
Luna_Faline nods, �Who is that?� almost afraid of what his answer might be.
Claron finds herself thinking about the first time she ever laid eyes on Tabris DuVallis, and how much fun Katie and she had checking out his fine ass. A smile forms on her lips as she starts to relive the moments of their first kiss.
Valrash says, �Why would she be saying that? Unless my theory of us going back in time was wrong, or I really am me back then��
Vin_Da_DM: Around Katie the scene fades, slowly bringing her back into reality. The unicorn under her glances at her with a turned head, concern reflecting in it�s eye.
Katie pats Ki�lin on the neck. �That was�enlightening. But I wonder�how much of that was real?�
Vin_Da_DM: Claron�s frozen body moves again, and Tabris seems overjoyed. Picking her up he hugs her, �You�re alive�� As Tabris cries tears of joy, the scene fades to black before Claron. Once back in the grassy field, Obsidian�s voice reaches her, �M�lady? Are you alright?�
Vin_Da_DM: �What was real?� Syne questions Katie, standing next to Ki�lin looking up at her.
Vin_Da_DM: �We must do this quickly, Luna.� Eclipse looks at her, the tone of his voice clearly evading answering her question and he moves past the still smoking castle doors.
Katie looks over at Syne, her eyes welling. �Tell me something, Rogue...before we found you and rescued you on the Icarus�had you ever seen me before?�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne looks at her, expression trying to find the right words. �I...well...why are you asking?�
Luna_Faline follows him quickly thru the doors, torn by what he�s not telling me.
Claron feels the stirring of the love she and Tabris have shared through some very dark times in their lives together disturbed by the sound of Obsidian�s voice. �I will be...I will be��
Vin_Da_DM: �Talk, how?� Stryder looks at Kyra questioningly, �Telepathically talk?�
Vin_Da_DM: As the guards pull their triggers the projectiles stop in the air in front of Clarice, then shoot back into the men who fired them. Clarice notices her father pinned to the ceiling as the light blue ghostly figure phases up through the floor.
Vin_Da_DM: �What happened? You seemed to go to sleep for a moment,� Obsidian says to Claron.
Katie swallows the lump in her throat. �Because there is still a huge chunk of me missing from the time my best friend�s husband turned me into hamburger, to the time I woke up amongst the Gul-Qian, with a slightly improved form and no knowledge at the time of who I was.� Katie closes her eyes. �And suddenly, I�ve just had a vision of just how things might have played out. But I can�t imagine you�� she breaks off, shaking her head.
Kyra: �Yes. Telepathically. We talk, now and then.� Kyra shrugs helplessly, her eyes begging him not to make her dig any deeper.
Clarice smiles as she sees Finn phase through the floor.
Vin_Da_DM: �Can�t imagine�I what?� Syne raises a brow at Katie.
Clarice: �How did you find me?�
Katie shakes her head harder. �Nothing. Nothing. It was just a hallucination. Pure and simple.�
Claron sits more relaxed on Obsidian, �Sleep, you say...was more like reliving a time from my past,� answers back.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not the best time for questions, Clarice.� Finn turns his ghostly form towards her, �First, we need to get you out of here. There�s somebody waiting for you.�
Clarice: �I�m all for getting the hell out of this place�and as far away as I can from him,� pointing at her father. �But�who�d be waiting on me?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Oh...okay.� Syne looks at Katie, slightly confused but he nods. Taking several steps away he looks back at her, �Don�t discount a vision, even angels daydream.� Smirking at her he turns and continues strolling down the road.
Katie nearly topples from Ki�lin.
Katie: �It WAS you.� Katie shouts, her eyes wide.
Vin_Da_DM: Valrash�s mother sighs, �I know...it�s time. I will give him the book and tell him where to start.� His mother heads down the hallway and knocks on his door to get his attention. �Val, I need to talk to you about something in the garden��
Valrash shrugs and opens the door and walks out.
Vin_Da_DM: �Hamburger? Honestly, steak�if any meat product,� Syne chuckles.
Claron finds herself smiling as she gazes ahead at Tabris, �It�s �bout time you remembered, Mrs. DuVallis. Together, the two of you can overcome any and all obstacles the two of you face,� she whispers softly to herself.
Katie chuckles and shakes her head again. �Thanks,� she whispers. �Thank you for finding me and bringing me back to where I belong.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse pauses against the doorframe into the throne room. He watches as the robed man sheds his robe, revealing the black mist underneath it. The black mist looks across the throne room at Selenia, �Your army defeated, your city in ruins, you have lost, goddess.�
Luna_Faline inhales sharply as the man drops the robe shaking her head.
Vin_Da_DM: Claron notices Tabris looks asleep on the back of Ki�lin. He suddenly jerks awake and falls off the horse into the grass, �Sonuva...damn hurt as much as it did the first time.�
Luna_Faline looks from the misty figure to my Eclipse shaking my head.
Vin_Da_DM: To the side of the throne room, one of the stained glass panels shatters as Selenia�s Avatar, a golden colored feline-humanoid, enters the throne room, tossing a silver sai into one of the black armored soldiers.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse watches the events, and shakes his head, whispering to himself. �Just as I remember��
Claron�s smile turns into a frown as she sees Tabris begin to slide from the horse and she tries to manipulate his gravity to soften the blow.
Vin_Da_DM: Reaching the garden Valrash�s mother looks at him, �Val...I don�t know how you figured it out, but you were right. I have to send you on a journey, and this book will guide you.� She hands him a thick leather bound tome.
Luna_Faline watches the past unfold, torn between wanting to fight and defend.
Katie gasps, feeling Tab slide out from behind her. She grabs for him, but misses by a split-second.
Kyra stares at the ground.
Tabris leans up and feels his chest and sighs, �Even second time around�I didn�t see it coming�� Looking up at Katie he raises a brow, �Um...yea, seems I fell off.�
Valrash sighs as he takes the book and says, �And I will do as you wish. I will go prepare now for the journey.� He sighs again and walks back to his room.
Katie covers a smile with her hand, coughing gently. �Yes, you did.�
Vin_Da_DM: Before he leaves earshot Valrash hears his mother say something he didn�t hear the first time this event happened, �When I see you again you�ll be a hero.�
Valrash enters his room, �Hmmm�what did I do after I got in here? Oh, yes! I threw the book at Richard, then I left�� as he throws the book at Richard.
Valrash quickly picks the book back up and leaves.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks at Kyra and nods, �I understand�� He looks back at the cabin, �We should visit this place once we�re done with this whole war��
Kyra looks back over her shoulder at the cabin. �Yeah. I�d really like that.�
Vin_Da_DM: Valrash soon finds himself back on the road, with Richard still in rope, dragging behind his horse.
Valrash lets go of the rope.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder and Kyra find reality fading back. Stryder looks over at Kyra on her chocobo, �Someday I�ll need to meet this sister of yours. Figure out just what you could have been saying about me.�
Kyra blushes and looks at the ground passing beneath Robin�s feet.
Katie looks down at her wrist, at the bracelet glinting in the light. �Where the hell have you gone now?� she sighs.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse watches as the Avatar tries fighting the remaining soldier and the black mist. Raising his sword he looks over at Luna, �I have to stop this��
Luna_Faline nods, �Be careful, please.�
Shadow appears next to DracBlue.
DracBlue jumps, �You really need to send a warning when you do that.�
Shadow sighs sweating, �Next time�I�ll be sure to send my axe first.�
DracBlue asks, �Why your axe?�
Luna_Faline reaches out and suddenly grabs Eclipse, yanking him back.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at Luna, a painful pleading in his eyes, �I...don�t want to see you die again�� He slumps back, watching as the Avatar is overwhelmed. The black armored solider takes hold of the Avatar by the throat.
Luna_Faline looks him in the eye, �I�m not dead.� Then pulls him to me and holds him.
Shadow chuckles and says nothing, but starts walking forward then he suddenly asks, �Who are you following now?�
DracBlue looks at him and says, �Cara. Why?�
Shadow says, �I don�t feel like letting you follow me, is why!�
Luna_Faline watches the scene unfold as I hold Eclipse.
Vin_Da_DM: The soldier kills the Avatar. On the throne the black mist seems to notice Luna and Eclipse in the doorway and hesitates. For Luna and Eclipse the scene fades away, leaving Luna holding Eclipse on the back of Mah.
DracBlue: �You got too much hair for me,� Drac snaps back. �Where is Cara anyway?�
Luna_Faline holds Eclipse tightly crying, �It�s alright.�
Vin_Da_DM: Kabal looks at Cara after noticing everyone waking up, �That was weird...everyone just passed out for a few seconds.�
Shadow chuckles again and says, �Take to the sky and find out.�
Vin_Da_DM: Noticing they are back in their own time Eclipse fights back the tears and looks at Luna, �We...we�ve got to keep moving.�
DracBlue nods and takes to the sky.
Cara shakes her head, �Not weird�if you think about it. Some sort of spell, magic... Wonder why it was just some, not all....more.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Probably another delay meant to cost us time,� Kabal says with a shrug.
Shadow whispers, �Poor chap, if he only new the trouble he caused. Oh well, its better he not know.�
Luna_Faline nods, �We need to get back to Aventine fast.�
DracBlue finds Cara and flies above her again.
Valrash keeps riding on.
Vin_Da_DM: �It is.� A stern voice sounds next to Shadow as he sees the short haired man in a black and red outfit near him. �Good job repairing that timeline. Looks like you�ve got a hand on your new abilities.� He nods, �The others have been shown what they needed to see. Keep an eye on them, brother�and remember the timeline.�
Cara watches her brother closely, �I suppose, it could matter greatly�depending on which way you look at it and what side you are on?�
Shadow nods to the man next to him and asks, �Do you think they can do it with so much interference?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Don�t look at me like that, Cara. I can�t do anything like that,� Kabal looks ahead, �I�m not the one you should worry about who�s on who�s side��
Vin_Da_DM: �Let us hope so.� The man looks at Shadow, �You have orders from the Elders, Shadow. You may use any means necessary to stop Sarasvati. She cannot be allowed to unbalance the timeline.�
Cara�s eyes narrow, �And what makes you say that?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Agreed,� Eclipse says to Luna. �Mind if I ride with you?�
Luna_Faline places a soft kiss on his lips and runs a paw over his cheek, �I insist.�
Shadow says, �Well, for right now�looks like I�ll need a riding ram, as to not to draw attention to myself�of course.�
Cara whispers more to herself, �He hasn�t forgotten....I know it.�
Tabris looks back at Claron, then up at Katie, �Guess I�m still riding with you.�
Claron shakes her head back at Tabris, �No�you will ride in front of me,� whispers softly.
Katie smiles as Claron�s voice rings out strong.
Tabris smiles at Claron, �Starting to want me around again?�
Claron smiles weakly back, �I should have remembered...it didn�t happen to just me...it happened to us.�
Luna_Faline nudges Mah to get moving again as Eclipse rides in front of her. Tries to remember what happened next on that day so long ago.
Claron turns her gaze towards Katie. Locking eyes with her, she expresses her heartfelt thanks and sympathies for the mutual bond the two will forever share and understand from their similar experiences.
Katie nods and smiles in understanding.
Vin_Da_DM: Clarice finds herself back on Ceru, a warm feeling staying with her after her vision of the past. Being rescued from her father, and told that her sister was waiting for her in a new place.
Vin_Da_DM: Having experienced and affected the past, the Warriors continue on their way to Aventine to face the Dark Army. While some of the Warriors merely glimpsed their pasts, others changed their fates directly.
Vin_Da_DM: Meanwhile: Daegriss sits in his saddle atop Sarez, watching as his army burns several villages on the outskirts of Aventine�s farmlands. Glancing to the horizon he watches the white glisten in the afternoon suns, �Soon, Selenia...I will be at your doorstep, and your precious Warriors will not be around to stop me.�
