Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: Relaxing after having arrived in Aventine the Warriors were given their next charge by Selenia. The Warriors were going to be given command of and work with the 1st Regiment, the most experienced group of soldiers in the Army of Light.
Vin_Da_DM: Using their morning for additional shopping and personal time the Warriors prepared for their next ordeal. A pair of soldiers from the Regiment, the wolfen, Gale, and Wraith, a mysterious young man, ran across Luna and Eclipse. Notifying them that the Regiment was waiting for them to arrive they returned with them to the castle.
Vin_Da_DM: Upon arriving at the castle, the Warriors were met by a irate Tewyn and an injured Shinta. Attempting to heal Shinta, the Warriors returned to their small groups, the affects of their injured comrade effecting them in different ways.
Vin_Da_DM: *Time passed: None*
Vin_Da_DM: Gale and Wraith wait idly on the stone path heading through the garden to the castle. The midday suns have begun their decent into afternoon, clouds glowing brightly as the suns hide behind them. The city bustle has picked up in pace and volume from the morning.
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
DracBlue looks at Cara, �A parasite, ehh.� He chuckles and looks up, �In my case, fire doesn�t work too well.�
Katie lays her head back against the chair, humming to herself softly and staring at the ceiling.
Cara giggles, then looks over at Tewyn as he moves toward the dining hall, �See... I told ya��
Tewyn looks back over his shoulder, �Well, if you need some pest extermination let dear dad know.�
Cara nods her head at her father, �Enjoy your lunch, you two.�
Clarice whispers softly, �Oh, I will indeed enjoy my lunch��
DracBlue whispers to Cara, �Is a parasite a good thing?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks around the training area, �I must say this place has changed since I was last here.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne wanders his way out the front of the castle, giving an odd look to Wraith and Gale as he passes them.
Claron leans against Tabris still. �We don�t have to go shopping now...seeing Katie with Shinta...well...it sorta took the wind out of my sails.�
Valrash stops wandering the town and says, �Hmmm, should we really be relaxing like this?�
^Shinta turns his head slightly toward Katie, grimacing in pain. �You ok? Moved away a bit.�
Tabris: �Yea, it can do that.� Tabris brushes his hand on Claron�s hair softly, �So where should we go then?�
Katie looks over at him. �I�m just fine. All in a day�s work, right?�
Tewyn: �So�what�s for lunch? Monk toting leaves a Drow hungry.�
Luna_Faline looks around, �Yes, change is inevitable�isn�t it?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Rest before battle can often turn the tides,� a strong but friendly sounding voice sounds from behind Valrash.
Kyra closes her eyes, praying for Shinta to heal, and Katie to cope. She sighs softly, shaking her head.
^Shinta sits up a bit, �Yea, guess it is....I�m sorry if I made you worry.�
Claron looks at Tabris with sadness showing clearly in her eyes and manages a weak smile. �We can go wherever you like��
Vin_Da_DM: �Penny for your thoughts,� Stryder says to Kyra.
Valrash turns raises a hand and it bursts into flame, raises his eyebrow and looks at the person who spoke to him, �Be you friend or foe?�
Arwyn: �Now that I have eaten, we should probably seek audience with Selenia.� Pacing back and forth in her room, she shakes her head. �I know Va has promised the aid of our people, Sabir...but surely he did not know that these Warriors have a Drow amongst them�and even one with rounded ears.�
Vin_Da_DM: Valrash finds a short feline wearing a blue turban and eye patch, he chuckles at Valrash, �Put that away kid or someone�s liable to use an extinguishing spell on you.�
Katie looks wearily down at Shinta and shrugs dismissively. �You�re here now. And you�re safe.�
^Shinta: �You look tired, emerald eyes...Have things been that bad while I was away?�
Valrash smiles, puts his hand down, putting it out and shrugs, �Just being careful.�
Cara chuckles, �Not really��
Vin_Da_DM: �One should not question the will of Selenia, m�lady. She has gathered those Warriors for a reason,� Sabir watches Arywn pace from under the brim of his hood.
Kyra opens her eyes again and tries to smile at Stryder. �I�m thinking that Katie has a mighty long fight ahead of her,� she says sadly.
Tabris: �If you�re concerned about her, we can checkup on them,� Tabris looks at Claron with concern on his face.
DracBlue smiles at Cara, chuckling, and just sighs. �You�ll have to explain it to me someday then.�
Clarice smiles, �Depends on what you are wanting for lunch,� her eyes sparkling.
Tewyn: �Well, I�m not too picky...though, I know you don�t care to look at my choice in dining preference.�
Katie�s look softens. �Things are almost always rough, Shinta.� She pulls the covers up on him more securely. �But I am as well as can be expected.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Can never be too careful, just watch the fireballs around here,� the cat grins as he hoists his broadsword to his shoulder, resting it on the edge of his red cape, �Name�s Ness, 1st Regiment. You look like you�ve seen a few battles, you part of the Army?�
Luna_Faline looks over at Eclipse, �Well, shall we find the 1st Regiment?�
Valrash says, �Valrash of Hell. Currently residing with the Warriors.�
^Shinta: �I should of been there for you more...I know that�guess I broke that promise to you,� lowering his eyes from her.
Vin_Da_DM: �Suppose we should, we should find those two we met earlier,� Eclipse glances at Luna in return. �They�re probably still waiting for us.�
Claron: �Do you think we should? For a little while this morning�I felt like the old Katie was back, and now, I fear that what has happened to Shinta will cause her to regress back to that lost soul she has been for some time now.�
Vin_Da_DM: �With the Warriors? You don�t say,� Ness scratches his brow above his eye patch, �Rumor says the Warriors are getting command of the 1st Regiment.�
Vin_Da_DM: �So I�ve noticed,� Stryder sighs a bit. �Was hard to filter all the thoughts out when it happened, it was one big mess.�
Katie frowns. �You�� she shakes her head. �Now is not the time to get into who�s in the wrong.�
Cara nods her head, �Maybe I will. So, how bout giving a girl some space...I could use some time alone.� Turning she heads up the stairs leading back to the sleeping quarters.
Valrash says, �Dunno, I haven�t been told anything yet. But usually I�m not notified until we leave.�
Luna_Faline nods and sniffs the breeze. Raises a paw and shades her eyes surveying the catwalk along the top of the outer wall. �I think they went high,� pointing toward a shadow in the distance. �We can take those stairs,� turning toward a path leading around the field.
^Shinta nods, �I know...I just wanted to.��
Kyra nods, leaning into him a bit.
DracBlue says, �Very well, we aren�t traveling just yet.� He bows to Cara and munches on a bar of scrap iron.
Vin_Da_DM: �Alright,� Eclipse smiles lightly, �I�d like to say I remember this all, but it wasn�t as...tidy my first visit.�
Katie gives Shinta a soft smile. �You are here. It�s�it�s a start.�
Clarice smiles, �You do eat some of the strangest things,� as they enter the dining hall. �Guess we will just have to see what they have.�
Tewyn: �I�ll tone it down to some fruit�how bout that?� giving Clarice a smile.
Arwyn stops in the middle of the of her bedroom chamber, �I was not questioning Selenia, I was QUESTIONING my Va, Sabir.�
^Shinta: �Yes... a start,� placing a hand on her knee. �You are strong to put up with a stubborn man as myself.�
Katie: �Ain�t that the truth�� Katie teases.
^Shinta smirks, then grimaces with pain. �You may make me a man yet, emerald eyes.�
Tabris: �Well, I won�t stop you if you want to go see her,� Tabris says to Claron. �Hell, I�m concerned for both of them.�
Luna_Faline reaches over and takes his hand, giving it a squeeze. �I hope we never see it in that condition again, my love.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, if rumor�s true, couldn�t hurt to take you back to the camp,� Ness says as he studies Valrash. �As long as you promise not to burn anything down.�
Valrash chuckles, �I�ll only burn it if it is attacking me, or startles me like you did.� He smiles, �Lead away.�
Clarice: �That would be perfect...Maybe some strawberries and whipped cream. Even peaches and cream sound good to me.� A sly smile creeps across her face, �A perfect lunch to be shared in our quarters,� she whispers.
Tewyn nods, �But are we leaving soon...Or are we just getting a military escort?�
Vin_Da_DM: Ness laughs, �Wouldn�t be a good scout if I couldn�t sneak up on people.� Motioning at Valrash with a paw he nods, �This way, Valrash.�
DracBlue walks to the outer parts of the castle, takes to the skies and flies around.
Vin_Da_DM: �I hope not, especially considering who did most of the work causing that condition,� Eclipse looks away for a moment, as if lost in a memory, but then looks back at Luna with a smile
Claron squeezes Tabris� hand gently, �You never deny me anything, my love. I would feel better if I knew Katie is alright. I can hear her now, �Quit fretting, you mother hen...I�m fine�.�
Katie squeezes Shinta�s fingers gently and smiles.
Valrash follows Ness.
^Shinta squeezes Katie�s hand back, �Thank you for staying by my side, means a lot.�
Katie nods, rising to walk to the window. �I could do no less.�
Tabris: �Then let�s get to frettin�, my dear mother hen,� Tabris winks at Claron and turns towards the direction Katie and Shinta went in.
Vin_Da_DM: �So�� Stryder looks down at Kyra, thinking about what to say.
Luna_Faline stops climbing one step above Eclipse, turns to look him in the eye. Places a paw on either side of his face, �I forgive you,� then kisses him tenderly.
Katie: �Careful, McKinnon. You only put him in danger,� hisses the voice. Katie closes her eyes, feeling a tear slide down her cheek.
DracBlue pulls out his claws and slashes at the air fighting an imaginary opponent for fun.
^Shinta watches Katie move toward the window, starts to say something, but shakes it off before trying to move out of bed.
Arwyn continue her pacing, with a flick of her hand she motions for Sabir to leave, �Go�your presence is no longer required��
Vin_Da_DM: �I know,� Eclipse smiles at her after the kiss, �We might want to keep going, we�re blocking the stairs.� Eclipse points to the pair of guards approaching the staircase.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne blocks the suns� glare with his hand looking at Drac, �Well, looks like someone�s having fun.�
Clarice shakes her head, �We are always leaving...that never changes...just as�us never seeming to have time alone�
Kyra links her hand with Stryder�s. �Let�s go for a walk or something. The heaviness in the air is weighing on me.�
Luna_Faline blushes seeing the guards. Steps against the wall, allowing the guards to pass us.
Vin_Da_DM: �Alright,� Stryder nods and leads Kyra out of the castle.
Tewyn: �Comes with the territory of serving a higher being I guess�Take what we can get I suppose.�
DracBlue stops, looks down and dives as fast as he can down to the ground. At the last second, he swoops up pulling the wind up around a group of people.
Vin_Da_DM: The guards nod to Luna and Eclipse, then go back to chatting with each other about something.
Cara walks quietly down the hallway towards her room. �What a fine mess you have gotten yourself into�� she says to herself in a barely audible whisper.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not much, and we move around a lot, but it�s home.� Ness says to Valrash as they exit the city gates. He points at the large group of tents outside the city walls.
^Shinta tries to stand, balancing himself on the edge of the bed. �How�s the view?�
Valrash says, �At least its home. I miss my home�all warm and fiery. Just thinking about it makes me want to cover myself in magma,� he shrugs.
Katie wipes her face and turns, �What in the farding hell are you doing, Shaman!?!� Katie scurries over to him to take his arm. �You should not be out of bed,� she scolds.
Clarice nods her head, �That�s just it...ain�t been getting enough�� looks directly in to Tewyn�s eyes briefly, then drops her head. � Time alone with you... that is.�
^Shinta pulls Katie close while she holds his arm, and gives her a soft kiss across the lips. �Just wanted to give you that.�
Luna_Faline bows her head slightly as the guards pass by, then smiles and takes Eclipses hand once more. �Let�s get this over with.�
Tewyn: �Yes, I know...Someone had to watch over the monk though�He has been in an odd place for him.�
Vin_Da_DM: Ness eyes Valrash then heads through the group of tents, giving nods to soldiers as he passes them.
Vin_Da_DM: Sabir slips outside Arwyn�s room quietly. Walking down the hall he notices Cara ahead in the hallway.
Katie tries to look stern, but the corners of her mouth twitch slightly. �Buttering me up?� she steadies him.
Clarice sighs, �And who better to do it...than you.� Reaches for a plate as they reach the buffet table in the dining hall and starts filling it with an assortment of fruits for the both of them.
^Shinta: �No, not at all...Just missed that, along with you,� smiling slightly at Katie.
DracBlue lands and sighs. �There is no fun here at all,� he frowns.
Tewyn: �Well, we gave each other advice...But if that kid doesn�t start ordering the water, then I�m failing him out of �Drow Love� class.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse continues following Luna, �If I remember correctly, we left those two near the castle gate.�
Cara looks up as Sabir nears her, �It�s you, you�re the one that refused to let me die. I suppose I should thank you�� a hint of sarcasm is heard in her voice.
Vin_Da_DM: �It was not your time,� Sabir says plainly, his tone near emotionless as he gazes at her from under his white hood.
Luna_Faline nods, buts points up at the top of the wall. �Well, they went for a walk.�
Claron giggles, �You know she will say that,� as they reach the room Katie and Shinta are in.
Clarice starts laughing, �Failing him out of Drow class...Somehow, I don�t think its all the Shaman�s fault on that account.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I don�t blame them,� Eclipse sighs then looks back over at the castle. �I wonder how Shinta and Katie are doing.�
Tabris extends a hand, �Mother hens first, the strutting rooster will follow.�
Claron softly knocks on the door.
Katie lowers her head, �I�missed you as well.� She says softly.
Cara continues to look at Sabir, �And how do you know that it was not my time?�
Katie: Hearing a knock, Katie lowers Shinta back down so he's sitting on the bed. �Yes?� she calls out.
Vin_Da_DM: �Life isn�t fun all the time, flyboy,� Syne says to Drac as he walks up to him.
Tewyn nods walking behind Clarice down the buffet table, �No, but he is so afraid he will hurt her, or cause her more anguish. He doesn�t want to be�ummm�the new Kyo he said...I think that�s who he said.�
^Shinta: �Visitors?�
DracBlue turns around and says, �If life isn�t fun, then it is supposed to be serious. And since it is not�I would prefer it to be fun.�
Claron: �Katie��
Vin_Da_DM: �You going to wait here for your Warrior pals?� Ness questions Valrash as he enters through the open flap on his tent, �Feel free to look around the camp if you want.�
Tewyn: �It is from that�that I finally saw what you must have went through during the Shaiya ordeal.�
Katie laughs. �Right on cue,� she mutters. �Come in, Claron.�
Clarice shrugs, �Hmmm, the new Kyo...interesting.�
Valrash says, �Sure�I�ll look around,� as he turns his sight around on the camp inspecting everything.
^Shinta: �We really must get a sign made, don�t you think?�
Luna_Faline shrugs, �I have no clue, even if I had been allowed to heal his body, I couldn�t help his other wounds.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Can�t have the sweet without the sour, kid,� Syne says to Drac. �See anything good from up there?�
Tewyn: �Must be difficult, but seems he is determined...or just stubborn. I haven�t decided which yet.�
Clarice looks at Tewyn, �Oh...you really are beginning to see it from a different perspective, aren�t you?� reaches her free hand out and runs a couple fingers softly along his cheek and across his jaw line.
DracBlue says, �Just a camp I was curious about. You want to come investigate with me?�
Claron opens the door and looks directly at Katie then Shinta, �We...I...just needed to see if there was anything we could to do to help?�
Tewyn nods, �Yes, the talks he and I have had�have shown me things I never saw.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Sure, why not.� Syne shrugs.
^Shinta waves at Claron.
Katie steps back from the bed.
Vin_Da_DM: Sabir studies Cara for a moment again, �It was in your eyes, they will see a long life before your time will come.�
Cara looks stunned as she hears Sabir�s words. �I wish I was as certain of that as you seem to be.�
Tabris leans on the doorframe behind Claron, giving Katie and Shinta a short wave.
Katie gives Tab a hesitant wave.
^Shinta smirks at Tabris, �Its ok, Daddy�we weren�t taking it home.�
Katie chokes and splutters, giving Shinta an incredulous look.
Luna_Faline reaches the top of the wall finally and looks out over the distance, enjoying the view of the city. Her eyes slowly looking closer to home studies the encampments, then shifts to the gardens below. �Isn�t this a great vantage point?�
Claron smiles at Shinta, �You seem to feeling a bit better,� then turns to look at Katie as her mouth drops open. �Not again.�
^Shinta looks up at the ceiling scratching his head. �Umm, Remy made me say it.�
Vin_Da_DM: Sabir nods, �Nothing is ever certain, child.�
Katie wheezes and backs into the wall, wiping away tears.
Tabris: �Figures he would,� Tabris smirks.
Claron snorts, �Sure is an easy way for you to escape any blame there, Shinta.�
^Shinta keeps looking at the ceiling. �Now what are you implying Claron, I am a monk.�
Tabris: �A monk accompanied by probably the horniest poltergeist ever,� Tabris chuckles.
Katie snorts with laughter at Shinta�s comment.
^Shinta: �Well, look at that ass�I mean butt!! Umm, I mean.��falls back onto the bed. �I have a concussion, I think.�
DracBlue leads the way to the camp.
Clarice: �I am glad...was afraid you would never see what it was doing. Not just to me, but the others as well.�
Katie wheezes some more, shaking her head. �I think you do. You don�t even SOUND like you.�
Tabris shakes his head, �Are we sure Remy didn�t take control of him while he was out?�
Tewyn: �Yes, seems he has helped me in that aspect.�
^Shinta rubs his head. �Yea, that�s what it is.�
Cara nods, �So I am beginning to learn��
Vin_Da_DM: �Yes...it is,� Eclipse nods studying the view from the top of the wall
^Shinta grumbles to himself in his head. �You liar, Tewyn. Women do not like compliments of their ass,� continuing to rub his head.
Claron shakes her head. �Oh, nothing�� she replies to Shinta. �Don�t you ever get confused as to who is doing or saying what?�
DracBlue looks at the camp and looks at Valrash, �Well, there goes the neighborhood,� sighs at Syne.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder walks slowly, his eyes settling on changing between ahead of them and Kyra, �The heaviness any lighter out here?�
Clarice leans in closer to Tewyn and kisses him. �Then I should thank Shinta sometime for his help in that respect.�
^Shinta: �I�m always aware�or maybe someone snuck in and out,� smacking his head with his palm.
Kyra: �Yeah.� Kyra sighs and snuggles against him as they walk.
Vin_Da_DM: �Good day to you child,� Sabir bows his head to Cara then continues down the hallway.
Tewyn: �Let�s just hope my advice was has beneficial to him.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne looks at Drac confused, �Got a problem with the demon, flyboy?�
Katie picks herself up again and continues shaking her head, looking at Shinta with a new respect.
DracBlue says, �Oh�nothing really, but everywhere he seems to go people seem to be unha�� and stops as Valrash walks up.
Luna_Faline looks around the garden, then turns her focus to the wall walk. �My nose seems to be confused, do you see them?�
^Shinta sits up, �Maybe I need a shower,� face flushed a bright red.
Valrash says, �Did you hear? We�re suppose to be in command of these people now, or more like the Warriors are.�
Katie smirks. �Perhaps you are right.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse glances around, �Not sure about the boy, but I believe that�s the wolf over there.� Eclipse points near one of the large trees lining the path from the castle to the gate.
^Shinta grabs the sheet, wrapping it around him and walks slowly toward the bathroom.
Luna_Faline looks down where he�s pointing. �Hmmmm, long way or short cut?�
Cara glances back over her shoulder to watch Sabir for a moment as he continues down the hallway before moving towards the door of her room.
Vin_Da_DM: �Up to you,� Eclipse shrugs with some indifference.
Tewyn holds a apple up from behind Clarice, examining it. �Hmmmm�yep, your butt is more shapely.�
Tabris looks over at Claron.
Luna_Faline looks straight down the wall, �That�s a long way down.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Good thing, I�m not one for giving orders.� Syne says to Valrash and smirks, �Not much for following them either��
Valrash smiles, �I�m no good at that either.�
Claron quickly turns and moves back over to Tabris. �I do believe our presence is no longer necessary.� Turning to glance back at Katie, �If you need anything�anything at all...just let me know.�
Katie nods, then goes back to her room to freshen up.
Tabris: �Damn, she didn�t say it.� Tabris snaps his fingers, �Good thing we didn�t bet on it.�
Claron laughs, �I guess so, I would have lost.�
^Shinta starts the water, �Is that what its like to live as a man? To blurt out desires? But the look on her face.��
Luna_Faline jumps up onto the side of the wall and poises to jump. �Last one down is a lover,� steps off the wall to land in the garden below, laughing all the way down.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse appears on the ground below just in time to catch Luna before she lands, �How about we call it a draw?� He smirks and kisses her quickly.
Luna_Faline laughs as Eclipse catches her, wrapping her arms around his neck as he kisses her. �No, I think you won this one too, honey.�
Vin_Da_DM: �You three, what are you doing here?� A strong and commanding voice questions Syne, Drac, and Valrash as a tall muscular lizard man in half-plate carrying a large sword approaches them.
Valrash says, �I was lead here by someone named Ness.�
Luna_Faline slides down Eclipses chest as she stands up. �I�ll give you your prize later, it�s in my suite.�
DracBlue says, �Curiosity. And apparently, I�m suppose to be here.�
Clarice gasps softly as she hears Tewyn comment, �I should hope so.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne shrugs, �I�m with them.�
Tewyn smirks at Clarice.
Vin_Da_DM: �Ness, I should have known.� The lizard man looks at Drac questioningly, �Supposed to be here? You one of the Warriors then?�
Katie pulls her hair down, brushing it out and staring at her reflection, �It�s like he�s a whole new man. Such a change�� she muses.
^Shinta stands in the shower letting the water run over his battered body while lost in thought.�
Claron: �Katie seemed to be holding up better than I thought she might. I sure hope this is a sign that our old Katie is making a comeback.�
DracBlue says, �I�d like to think of myself as one, but if that isn�t enough�I do travel with Luna.�
Tabris: �Could be,� Tabris nods to Claron. �Shinta seems better, too�even with Remy�s commentary.�
Clarice whispers ever so softly, �Shall we savor what few precious moments we have left...in our room? I need to feel you...right now.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Alright then.� The lizard man nods, �Once the rest of your group arrives, you should report to Lord Ironblade. Big tent over there, hard to miss.� Shifting his large sword to his other arm the lizard man continues walking through the camp.
Claron: �I could have done without Remy�s comments, myself.�
Tewyn: �Yea, I guess we could do that.�
Katie sings softly, looking at her hollow-eyed reflection.
Vin_Da_DM: �Is it now?� Eclipse perks a brow with a sly grin, �Anyway, back to business.�
Clarice smiles softly, �Then let�s go,� grabbing Tewyn�s hand and moving quickly towards the dining hall door.
^Shinta steps out of the shower, drying himself and putting his robe back on. �Remy as obnoxious and irritating as you are, you sometimes make for a good scapegoat.�
Tewyn follows behind Clarice, trying to keep his arm attached to his body.
Luna_Faline winks, then turns her back to him and leads the way thru the garden with her tail swishing slightly from side to side. Approaches the wolf and asks him, �Where is your partner?�
Claron leans her head on Tabris� shoulder, �Now what shall we do? Take a walk? Go for a swim? Maybe have a lil� race?�
Vin_Da_DM: Gale looks at Luna. ~He is nearby. Gathering information by his own means.~ Gale motions his muzzle towards the other side of the stone walkway to Wraith, sitting under a tree apparently meditating.
Luna_Faline follows his motion and sees the boy nearby, �I see,� looks back at the wolf. �Is the regiment ready for us to inspect them now?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at Gale, then shifts his view to study Wraith, tilting his head, �Interesting��
Vin_Da_DM: �Guess we�ll just wait here�� Syne glances around and rubs his head looking at Valrash and Drac.
Valrash looks at Syne, �I guess we will.�
Katie finishes brushing her hair, coiling it back up and fastening it with her clip, leaving the tendrils curling at the back and sides again, then she moves away from the mirror and heads out the door.
DracBlue says, �I wish there was an easier way to make them come to us.�
Vin_Da_DM: ~Ready and waiting, Avatar.~ Gale says to Luna, padding across the path towards Wraith. Wraith opens his eyes and gets to his feet without saying a word.
Luna_Faline nods, �Well then, you may lead the way,� adjusts the leather straps of the old sword sheath for more comfort.
Clarice releases Tewyn�s hand as they near their room. Opening the door, she moves toward the table and places the plate of food on it.
Tewyn: �Eager much there, dear?� rotating his arm.
^Shinta exits his room ,�Hmm, now where did everyone go?�
Vin_Da_DM: Gale nods to Luna and begins walking in the direction of the camp. Wraith walks alongside, his clothes and hair moving periodically with an unseen wind.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse follows next to Luna, watching Wraith and Gale. �There�s something different about the boy...my senses are unsure what to make of him.�
Clarice chuckles as she turns to face Tewyn, �You bet, your sweet gray ass,� as she moves closer and wraps her arms around his neck.
Katie hums to herself as she descends the stairs gracefully to the main hall.
Tewyn: �You know�we will probably get interrupted...and Kitty may play tickle tail again.�
^Shinta starts heading toward the main hall.
Vin_Da_DM: A castle servant bows her head to Shinta as she passes him in the hallway.
Clarice laughs heartily. �Would serve her right for interrupting us again,� leans in and nibbles Tewyn�s ear.
Tewyn ears twitch. �Ummm, yea...Would be fair punishment.��
Tabris: �Where would you want to race too?� Tabris looks at Claron.
Luna_Faline studies the boy and whispurrs, �Almost other worldly?�
Claron tilts her head to the side for a second, �To the water�s edge,� turns quickly and darts down the hallway.
DracBlue looks at Syne, �What to do while we wait��
Tabris watches Claron run off, �What water?� He asks himself then dashes off after her.
Katie strolls across the main hall, breaking into song once more.
Tabris: �Hi, Shinta, bye!� Tabris says to Shinta as he and Claron run past him in the hallway.
^Shinta waves, �Hmm�racing to take it home again. I bet.�
Claron glances back over her shoulder briefly to see how close Tabris is to her. As she hits the stairs, she manipulates her own gravity and floats gracefully to the bottom, then resumes racing through the main hallway and out the door.
Tabris: �Oh, that�s cheating!� Tabris says as he watches her float down. Creating an obsidian slide Tabris slides down the bottom, disintegrates the slide, then follows after Claron.
Vin_Da_DM: �Good question,� Syne says stretching some.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse shrugs, �I�m not sure...it�s just unusual.�
Luna_Faline follows the odd couple into the encampment. �Unusual? Aren�t we all?� quietly nudging Eclipse�s arm playfully.
Katie exits the castle and walks down the stairs, waving at Jakuzzi and wandering aimlessly.
Vin_Da_DM: Gale and Wraith clear the city gates. Gale stops and looks back at Luna and Eclipse, �Here�s the camp, Avatar. Our commander, Lord Ironblade, is at his tent.� Wraith speaks up softly glancing at Luna, �Three others are here as well.� He points beyond some of the tents.
Clarice places tiny kisses from Tewyn�s ear across his cheek to his lips, a soft moan escapes as she presses her body closer to his.
^Shinta stops as he sees Jakuzzi. �Why hello, old friend...Seems you are growing into that armor nicely.�
Tewyn takes Clarice to the bed, kissing her deeply. �Let�s hope we have time, and water��
Vin_Da_DM: Jakuzzi grins at Shinta, �Getting there.� She adjusts her helmet as it slides down over her eyes.
Clarice nods her head ever so slightly as she loses herself in Tewyn�s kiss.
Katie turns, hearing Shinta�s voice. She smiles and waits.
^Shinta: �Hope you have been practicing every day. I still say you will make a fine Warrior one day, and make your uncles proud.�
Luna_Faline nods at Wraith and moves thru the tents toward where he indicated. �Lord Ironblade. Hmmm, that sounds authoritarian.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne turns his gaze, noticing Luna and Eclipse approach, �Well, hey there. Where�s everybody else?�
Luna_Faline shakes my head at Syne, �I have no idea, I didn�t expect anyone else to be here.�
^Shinta gives Jakuzzi a friendly nod and a smile. �Now, if you will excuse me�� noticing Katie up ahead.
DracBlue says, �Hey,� and smiles at Luna.
Vin_Da_DM: Jakuzzi salutes him, then watches him notice Katie. Adjusting her helmet again she giggles softly to herself.
Claron races across the courtyard, sounds of her laughter drift back towards Tabris.
^Shinta face starts to blush again as he nears Katie.
Tabris: �For being pregnant she sure can run fast,� Tabris comments to himself as he continues after her.
Tewyn starts looking around the room curiously. �You better not be watching, pervy Remy. Don�t need you jumping out cheering us to take it on home.�
Katie: �Hello, Shaman. Feeling better?� Katie looks serenely at their surroundings.
^Shinta: �Still sore...but feeling alive...so guess that�s the important thing.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I guess we should have told them,� Eclipse says to Luna as he glances at Syne, Valrash and Drac.
^Shinta: �Beautiful, huh?�
Luna_Faline absently scratches an ear, �Well, I thought it would just be the two of us doing the inspection, then the others would join us tomorrow.�
Katie blinks and shakes off her thoughts. �Yes, it is.�
Cara sits on her bed with her legs tucked up under her chin, �Oh�Kabal, I still feel so lost without you...I�m trying so hard to do what you would want...to give our father a chance. Sometimes I think I want it, too. Then the image of our dead Mother creeps back into my thoughts and I want to make him pay.�
^Shinta holds out his hand toward Katie, �Though I did like the beach a bit more.�
Katie takes his hand, smiling.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder shakes his head then looks at Kyra, �Must be enjoying the walk. You haven�t said a word since we left the castle.�
Clarice pulls Tewyn back closer to her.
^Shinta plays idly with Katie�s bracelet. �So should we put a mug on this, to commemorate the day the monk got wasted?� smiling a bit.
Tewyn: �Ok�ok, don�t be so pushy, lil miss...I�ll take it home,� smiling at her.
Katie: �Do you WANT to remember it?� Katie cocks her head to the side.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, someone told the demon kid over here we were supposed to be here,� Syne says to Luna.
Cara startles for a second as she hears the familiar sounding voice in her mind. ~That�s just it...I don�t know what I want...~
Kyra sighs again. �Just enjoying being next to you.�
^Shinta: �Are some feelings of it I want to remember.�
Valrash looks at Syne and raises an eyebrow at him. �Boy, huh? I�ll remember that.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Oh? And just how old are you?� Syne raises a brow at Valrash.
Valrash smiles, �In Earth years or Hell years?�
Claron stops suddenly, bending over she places her hands on her thighs, gasping for air.
^Shinta: �The being hit by a truck feeling I can do without...But that feeling of freedom, that release from the label I carry as a shaman actually was enlightening...I think I�m starting to understand what my trial was all about.�
Luna_Faline gives Syne an odd look and shakes my head. Then turns and goes to the larger tent assuming that is where to find Lord Ironblade.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne shakes his head, �Never a straight answer�kids.� Syne smirks then watches Luna leave.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse follows after Luna, �Looks like a decent sized group of soldiers.�
Katie smiles, �There�s hope for you yet, Shinta.� She continues walking alongside him.
Valrash sighs, �Thirty.�
Tabris slows to a halt next to Claron, catching his breath as well, �You...run fast...hun. You okay?�
Cara sighs as she shakes her head.
Luna_Faline looks around at the soldiers, �I hope there are more than this around.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Still just a kid then,� Syne chuckles, �Got more than thirty under my belt.�
Tewyn looks over his shoulder while gathering water from the sink in the bathroom. �So was that a good start to catching up?�
DracBlue laughs, �Way younger than me. Just a pup in years.�
^Shinta nods, �Yes, maybe there is,� squeezing her hand gently.
Claron continues to gasp for air, in between breaths, �Having...hard...time...catching... breath...maybe...racing...bad idea.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Numbers do not always matter, skill and ability play a part as well,� Eclipse says to Luna as they approach the large tent.
Clarice nods her head, �Definitely a good start.�
Tewyn jumps back in bed. �Maybe we should go find the others�and Cara for sure. Don�t want her killing off anyone...Just yet.�
Vin_Da_DM: A blonde haired woman in leather armor stands near the entrance to the largest tent in the camp. Noticing Luna she salutes, �Avatar. Come to see the commander?�
Luna_Faline stops directly in front of the tent. �True, but are we any better trained than last time?� looking Eclipse in the eye. Breaks her look at Eclipse as the lady speaks and nods to her, �Yes, please announce us.�
^Shinta: �I think it is time to add something to that bracelet though...One charm just doesn�t do it justice.�
Katie looks at the bracelet, �I think you are right.�
Clarice sits up behind Tewyn and places her hands on his bare back, gently massaging it. �I think that�s an excellent idea. I think maybe she is really trying to find where she fits in.�
Vin_Da_DM: The woman nods and pulls the tent flap aside, �The Avatar and a Warrior here to see you, Commander.� She motions Luna and Eclipse inside.
Tewyn: �I�m just glad she is trying...The others accepting her will not be easy, I think she knows that.�
^Shinta: �Then the next time we have a chance, we will have to find one to add.�
Luna_Faline steps thru the open flap and into the tent.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse enters the tent as well.
Clarice: �I agree. She seemed interested in hearing about my life, and the experience I had while being captive, too.�
Katie nods.
Kyra sees some tents ahead and points, raising a brow.
Tewyn: �She is curious, just scared it seems.�
Vin_Da_DM: The inside of the tent is very well furbished. The entire floor is covered by a large intricate rug. An ornate carved dining table sits off to one side. On the other side sits a carved desk with a map opened up on it, sitting in an equally ornate chair is a fox-like humanoid.
Vin_Da_DM: Standing he bows a polite bow, �Avatar. Lord Eclipse, if I�m not mistaken?� He extends a hand across the table, �Lord Diego Ironblade, 1st Regiment.�
^Shinta: �So where are we heading?�
Claron�s breathing becomes more regular and she slowly uprights herself. �Racing sounded like a good idea at the time..."
Luna_Faline looks around at the fancy furniture in the tent, then casts a hard look at Diego. �Lord Ironblade, are your troops ready for battle?�
Tabris: �Well, some exercise does you good,� Tabris nods to her. �So now that we�ve tired ourselves out, now what?�
DracBlue looks at Syne, �How old are you anyway?� he asks like its a normal question.
Tewyn gets dressed wiggling his now pink butt from Clarice�s clawing at him. �Well, come on, let�s get moving.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Ready and willing. We plan to move out at dawn, that will give us time to get to Corrin and establish our defense.� Diego motions to the map on his desk, a well painted and colored rendering of the lands surrounding Aventine. �Maintaining the safety of Corrin will secure the western counties.�
Clarice smirks as she creates a small icy paddle and taps Tewyn�s pink wiggling ass, �I am now,� reaches for her clothes and slips into them.
Vin_Da_DM: �Corrin?� Eclipse looks at the map, �Hmm, seems the counties have changed a lot.�
Tewyn: �Spank me, baby!�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder notices Kyra pointing, �Not sure. Looks like a camp.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne looks at Drac, �Old enough to have not seen a reason to keep track.�
Luna_Faline looks down at the map on the table. �Time moves on while we�re gone.� runs a finger lightly over the map. �How far away is Corrin? And how long will it take the regiment to get there?�
Claron: �I haven�t a clue, other then finding our son and the others. By the way, nice slide back there.�
Vin_Da_DM: �But from appearances, most humanoids age me at about 30-40 years,� Syne says with a shrug, �Didn�t exactly have a chance to ask the guy I copied.�
DracBlue looks at Syne and chuckles.
Tabris: �If you�re going to cheat, I get to as well,� Tabris raspberries Claron then laughs.
Clarice laughs, �Later, my drow...later,� finishing the last brush strokes in her hair. �l am ready...let�s find your daughter.�
Tewyn takes Clarice�s hand, �Yes, let�s.�
Katie looks at Shinta for a moment, then straight ahead once more. �Dunno. Just walkin.�
^Shinta smiles, �Well, we know I�ll follow you anywhere, emerald eyes. So just keep leading the way.�
DracBlue sighs, �Well, I�m going to go check on Cara.� He waves bye to Syne and walks to the castle.
Claron laughs, �Who me?� acts all innocent. �Didn�t think preventing myself from losing my footing, or tumbling down the stairs...was cheating.�
Kyra nods, �Don�t a few of the figures look familiar?�
Katie tightens her fingers a bit. �You smooth talker, you.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Later�� Syne watches Drac leave then looks over at Valrash, �Don�t say much do you, kid?�
Claron: �Besides�all�s fair in racing,� blowing raspberry back at Tabris.
Valrash says, �Huh? Oh, I was thinking,� he shrugs.
^Shinta tightens his fingers also. �No, just finally learning to speak as a man, dear...just as a man.�
Tabris: �Oh, is it now?� Tabris smirks slyly at Claron.
DracBlue walks into the castle heading to Cara�s room.
Clarice points to the door on the left up ahead of them. �This is her room.�
Tewyn: �Well, let�s see if anyone is home.�
Katie smiles.
^Shinta points up to the tents ahead, �Think everyone went up there?�
Claron giggles before she slips her arm around his waist, �Of course it is.�
Katie: �Could be. Let�s go see.� Katie nods.
Clarice moves up to the door and knocks.
^Shinta walks along with Katie towards the tents.
Vin_Da_DM: �It is near the coast here,� Diego points to the map, then traces his hand along the road, �We�ll take the merchant road, a day�s ride, assuming you and your party will be ready come dawn.�
Cara hears the knock, �Enter...if you are non parasitic.�
Kyra spots Katie and Shinta and waves.
Tabris looks around, �Don�t see any water, where exactly did you picture us running to?�
Tewyn: �Guess that depends on your definition.�
DracBlue stops as he hears Cara�s voice down the hall and turns saying, �So, it did mean something bad.� He looks flustered as he starts walking away from Cara�s door.
^Shinta waves back toward Kyra.
Clarice chuckles as she opens Cara�s door.
Luna_Faline nods, �We�ll be ready, and those that are not will be left behind and can catch up on their own.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks over at Luna, �I suppose so. This is a serious situation, and we will need the others ready.�
DracBlue walks down the steps cracking his fingers, �Well, I�ll just have to make her happy with me then.�
Katie smiles and allows Kyra and Stryder to catch up.
Vin_Da_DM: Diego nods in response, �The Aventine stable master says he is holding enough steeds for your whole party. Just go see him and select whichever you prefer.�
Cara looks up as she sees Clarice and Tewyn walk through the door, nods to Clarice and her father. �I was just thinking about you.�
Tewyn: �That seems to be a theme today.�
Valrash says, �Well, I�m going to go into town. The birdboy was right�it is boring here.� As he wanders into town, he flies up into the air above the tents and into a tree.
Luna_Faline nods briefly at Diego then turns to leave the tent, �I am sure I know what I will be mounted on, sir.�
DracBlue walks out just as Valrash falls into the trees.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse nods, �I can arrange my own transportation, but we will let the others know.�
Valrash spreads his wings and stops himself from falling into the tree, but he looks dazed. �Damn! Remind me not to get in bird boy�s way again,� he says to himself.
Vin_Da_DM: �As you wish. Good day, Avatar, Lord Eclipse.� Diego bows his head, �Meet us outside the city gates at dawn, we can provide provisions for the morning meal.�
Cara: �I suppose it has,� noticing the rosy color of Clarice�s cheeks and the sparkle in her eyes.
^Shinta: �Them two seem pretty happy.�
DracBlue flies up and dive bombs in the direction Valrash fell.
Cara: �Please...have a seat.�
Tewyn sits, �So�how did you rid your shadow?�
DracBlue then hits Valrash in a full dive bomb with his fist, sending him into a tree, �You�re mine!� he screams.
Cara: �I told him I needed some space and wanted to be alone. I�m certain it will only be temporary.�
Katie smiles, �Yes, indeed. And I�m happy. Stryder smiles more now. She�s good for him.�
Valrash hits the tree breaking it in half, the top half lands on him.
Clarice sits down next to Tewyn.
Kyra and Stryder join Katie and Shinta. Kyra looks at Katie oddly for a moment, then shakes her head.
^Shinta: �Guess you and Kyra have more in common than you know then, huh?�
Valrash turns on his flame, burning only the tree. He gets up and shoots a fireball at DracBlue.
Katie frowns. �What?� she asks Kyra.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks over at Shinta and Katie.
Kyra only shakes her head again. �Nothing. Imagining things,� she mutters.
DracBlue dives down dodging the first fireball, but getting hit by a second one that was sent up.
Katie shrugs and begins to walk again.
Luna_Faline steps out into the brightness of the double suns and growls. �I certainly hope he�s not planning on taking that furniture with him. We can travel faster with out a cart load of antiques,� ears twitch hearing the tree crack. �What the hell is going on now?�
Tewyn: �So what have you been thinking over, Cara?�
Claron: �I think...I was remembering the stream in the forest that you flew us off to...seems like that was a long time ago now. You remember...don�t you?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse turns his head, �Not sure...sounds like a fight.�
^Shinta excuses himself from Kyra and Stryder, �Katie, what was that about?�
Cara takes a deep breath. �Kabal...and how much I still miss him.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne hears the commotion, �Great, what�s going on now?�
DracBlue stops to pat himself with his wings. With a nice burn mark in his robe, he shoots some feathers down at Valrash.
Katie looks over at him. �Beats me. She�s a weird kid, sometimes.�
Tabris: �Yea, back when I could fly.� Tabris sighs a bit thinking back, �Didn�t enjoy the cyborg part though.�
Luna_Faline runs toward the sounds and roars at Valrash and DracBlue, �ENOUGH!!!� drawing her sword for emphasis.
^Shinta turns back and looks back to Kyra, �Or confused��
Katie: �I suppose.� Katie shrugs again.
Valrash singes the first feather, dodges the rest just in time to get another hit to the face by DracBlue and hits the ground hard.
Claron: �You?�not enjoy the cyborg part?... Yet you were the one that showed me that being a cyborg wasn�t all that bad. Never thought I would say this, but I miss being able to transform and fly.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse follows Luna, watching Drac and Valrash. As Luna draws her sword it hums for a second, as if responding to Luna�s shouting.
DracBlue says, �You will never bother her again, demon.�
Luna_Faline runs over and plants a foot squarely on Val�s chest holding him down and points the sword at Drac �GET DOWN HERE NOW!!!�
^Shinta takes Katie�s hand again and continues to walk.
Tabris: �Yea, it had it�s benefits...but there was always something missing.� Tabris sighs and shrugs, �But the past is the past, we�re here together and that�s what matters.�
Cara�s expression turns to one of thoughtfulness, �He was the best brother any girl could ask for.�
Tewyn nods, �So your brother has been on your mind?�
Valrash says, �Bother who?� as he speaks through a swollen lip.
Luna_Faline glares down at Val, �You shut up. I�ve about had it with both of you.�
DracBlue ignores Luna and says, �What use is there in a demon who brings a family to fight with us?�
Cara nods her head, �A lot lately.� Looking up at Tewyn, �Would you think I was crazy...if...I told you he spoke to me? Would you believe me?�
Valrash looks struck but says nothing.
Tewyn looks over to Clarice, then Cara. �No, I wouldn�t find that to crazy...Could be very possible.�
Clarice glances back at Tewyn.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse sighs heavily, �We have enough trouble as it is without fighting amongst ourselves.�
Luna_Faline roars at Drac again, �I SAID GET YOUR FLYBOY ASS DOWN HERE NOW!!!� still pointing the sword at him.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna�s sword hums louder this time, a soft white glow beginning to surround the blade.
DracBlue yells at Luna, �I WILL NOT. Not until he is gone.�
Cara: �It�s because of him that...well.�� Starts fidgeting with the bedspread, �I am trying to give you a chance.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse raises a brow looking at Luna�s sword.
Luna_Faline growls up at Drac, �It�s not up to you!�
Tewyn: �I see...Well, our monk is proof people can talk to us from the other side. So it is possible.�
DracBlue looks furious and a red tint can be seen around him, �Then who�s it up to? His brother or maybe his father?�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne approaches the scene between Luna and Drac, folding his arms he nods, �This should be good��
Luna_Faline glances at Eclipse, �If I could fly�I�d go up there and beat his ass.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at Luna, �That can be arranged��
Kyra watches Katie walking, squinting. �Weird.�
Vin_Da_DM: �What?� Stryder looks at Kyra with some confusion.
Valrash says nothing as per Luna�s request, but looks like a horrified expression crosses his face.
Luna_Faline reaches down and grabs Val up, shoving him toward a guard nearby. �Take care of this one, don�t let go of him.� Then looks at Eclipse, �How?�
Cara: �What I don�t understand is why he would tell me that...I know that when we were together�that it always appeared that I was the more dominant of us. But truthfully, it wasn�t that way at all. He let me appear that way. Kabal was really the stronger one.�
DracBlue says, �So�has he told you his father is on the Council of Daegriss?�
Vin_Da_DM: The guard looks confused, but takes hold of Valrash without question.
Tewyn: �Brothers can do things we may not understand�What he thought was best for you.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks up at Drac, �What of it? You think all those with relation to the Council are evil?�
Kyra shakes her head. �I�m not sure.�
Luna_Faline growls up at Drac, �Why don�t you get your scrawny ass down here and tell me about it?� feeling the swords hum vibrating my paw.
Cara: �That�s why Clarissa took him out first.�
Vin_Da_DM: �But it was something?� Stryder questions Kyra again.
DracBlue says, �You think he survived the fight of his brother out of the kindness of his brother�s heart?�
^Shinta squeezes Katie�s hand, �You got quiet over there.�
Tewyn: �Its understandable that you miss him, Cara.�
Kyra sighs. �Maybe I�m just tired and seeing things.�
Katie snaps out of her thoughts. �Sorry. Just thinking about the fight before us.�
Vin_Da_DM: �And if he did?� Eclipse narrows his gaze at Drac, �Surviving does not make him evil or in league with them.�
^Shinta: �Think its going to be a bad one?�
DracBlue says, �Who whispers something so secretively to their own brother while engaged in combat?�
Vin_Da_DM: �What did you see?� Glancing at Kyra now with some concern Stryder continues to question.
Cara smiles slightly, �He always knew how to cheer me up, and just the right things to say to me.�
Luna_Faline points the sword at Drac again. �I�m not gonna say it again,� in a menacingly soft growl that carries much weight.
Katie: �It can�t help but be.� Katie whispers. �And so much is at stake.�
Tewyn: �Then I say he did his job as a brother to you.�
DracBlue lands, but stays away from the others.
^Shinta nods, �Seems that way for us always doesn�t it?�
DracBlue says, �And finally, who would torment one of the Warriors when we�re in a temple.�
Cara frowns, �Then he was taken away from me...the one person I trusted the most and could tell anything to.�
Luna_Faline lowers the sword and gets in Drac�s face, �We are going to my Goddess and we will discuss this there. She will see the truth of the soul.� Motions the guard to take Val to the temple, �March,� pushing Drac ahead of me.
Valrash starts concentrating on DracBlue.
Tewyn looks to Clarice at a loss to what to say.
DracBlue hits the ground screaming, �NOOOOOOO!�
Katie nods. �We have to make our world safe. The Dark Forces can not be allowed to poison everything Selenia has created here. I can�t bear to see this place fall. To see Her fall.�
Luna_Faline hairs rise on the back of my neck and I turn the sword on Val growling, �You will stop your shit now!� placing the sword tip under his chin.
^Shinta: �We will succeed, Katie.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse growls under his breath, �Now is not the time��
Cara absentmindedly says, �He would know what to do to get yourself out of the promise you made.�
Kyra rubs her eyes and forehead. �Probably nothing,� she stretches and continues to watch Katie.
Luna_Faline looks Valrash in the eye, �Do you really want to see me angry?�
Valrash stops and says, �Sorry, instinct took over.�
Vin_Da_DM: �You�re evading the question,� Stryder looks at Kyra. �What aren�t you telling me?�
Tewyn: �Why would I want to get out of a promise?�
Luna_Faline growls again pulling the sword back a bit, �You better tamp down that instinct or I�ll run it thru, now move.�
Valrash moves as told to.
DracBlue gets up and flies in circles in the air.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks up at Drac shaking his head, �Foolish child...we do not need this.�
Luna_Faline looks up at Drac and growls again, �Get down to that temple NOW!!!�
DracBlue flies towards the temple, towards Cara in tears.
Kyra sighs. �I�m not evading anything. I�m just not sure yet.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder studies Kyra�s expression and the look in her eyes, �Well, alright...but I�m here if you ever wish to talk about it.�
Clarice looks at Tewyn then at Cara. �What promise?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse walks next to Luna, �It seems today held more than we originally intended."
Kyra looks over at Stryder, drowning as always in his gaze. �I know,� she says quietly.
Luna_Faline watches Drac as we get to the temple. �Selenia will straighten this out once and for all,� glances briefly at Eclipse. �Not what I expected to hold though.�
Cara�s eyes widen as she realizes she just said something she hadn�t intended to. �I just meant�we promised one another, that no matter what happened to either of us...that you would pay for killing our mother.� Secretly hoping she just covered her slip up.
Tewyn: �You have had your chances, yet you passed on them...So why bring that up now?�
DracBlue flies into the temple lands and runs up to the room he just walked away from not so long ago.
Luna_Faline enters the temple and grabs Valrash from the guard looking for Drac to join us.
Luna_Faline looks at Eclipse, �Where did he go?�
Cara looks at her father. �Because I promised, and promises aren�t supposed to be broken��
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks around, �I�m not sure. I guess I will go look for him,� Eclipse sighs.
^Shinta squeezes Katie�s hand tighter, �We will succeed�Not just for this world, or the goddess.��
DracBlue stops at his room and enters, hides in the corner and cries.
Luna_Faline nods to Eclipse, �Bring him to the throne room when you find him,� then pushes Val into the throne room in front of me. �Misstress?�
Tewyn: �But do you think he would tell you the things he has...if he didn�t believe in them?�
Katie summons a small smile. �I pray you are right.�
^Shinta: �I have you to fight beside...Of course I�m right.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse closes his eyes and sinks into the shadows. Several moments later he slides out from a shadow in Drac�s room, �You�ve made some rather serious accusations against him. This matter must be settled, so you can come willingly or forcibly.�
DracBlue sits in the corner weeping, unable to speak.
Cara sighs, �I suppose not.� Thinking to herself only, �Still doesn�t release me from a more recent promise I made.�
Tewyn: �Then I guess you have a choice to make...Honor your original promise and kill me�or figure out what you think he is trying to say.�
DracBlue holds up a few fingers and manages, �Minutes.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse sighs, �We cannot wait long. You started something that we must see through.� He studies Drac.
Luna_Faline watches Valrash as we wait for Selenia to enter.
DracBlue nods, but continues weeping.
Valrash just sits there as instructed.
Cara lowers her gaze as she nods her head, �And you still want to know and love me like a father...even now?�
Vin_Da_DM: In the throne Selenia exits her private chambers, accompanied by her bodyguards as usual. Standing next to her throne she looks at Luna, �Luna, is there a problem, my child?�
DracBlue stands up and wipes his face, �That was the most horrible thing�I h-have ever see-een.�
Tewyn nods, �Yes...For I made that same promise to these Warriors you are amongst now�But upon seeing you...I could not kill my own blood without first knowing who they really are.�
Tewyn: �All I wanted was a chance to see who the real Cara and Kabal were.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse nods, �You will be safe from him in the presence of the goddess. Now let us go to the throne room and sort this mess out.�
Luna_Faline bows my head to my Goddess, �Misstress, I broke up a fight between this one and another of our group only moments ago. DracBlue has made several serious accusations against Valrash here. I brought him here for you to judge the truth. Eclipse has gone to find Drac now.�
Vin_Da_DM: Selenia nods, looking concerned as she sits on her throne, �I see, then we shall find the truth.�
DracBlue wipes his eyes and walks with Eclipse to the throne room. �He showed me the beginning of our race and the slavery that ensued. Seemed like an eternity in that few minutes.�
Cara nods her head in understanding, �Just so we understand one another then�If I fail to live up to the one I was named after, and keep to the ways Mother taught us�then I know without a doubt, my own father would not hesitate to take my life.�
Tewyn: �You have that wrong...Your old father wouldn�t of hesitated....I am not that same one your mother knew.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse and Drac enter the throne room. Eclipse bows his head to Selenia, then goes to stand next to Luna.
DracBlue bows and then stands up straight.
Vin_Da_DM: Selenia looks between the two, �Tell me, what accusations you have against Valrash, DracBlue.�
Luna_Faline nods to Eclipse and finally lowers the sword, breathing in relief.
Tewyn: �You were named after the one you were to bring a new hope to the side of goodness...and to ignite a light that was fading inside of me.�
Cara half chuckles, �Then...you and are much alike in that respect��I don�t think I am the same girl my mother once knew either,� slides off the bed and moves closer Tewyn and Clarice.
DracBlue says, �His father is on the Council of Daegriss, for one. For two, he fought his own brother�and in the midst of it, whispers something to him. And finally, he intimidates one of the Warriors.�
Tewyn: �In the end the choice will ultimately be yours. But I...we will be here if you need us,� looking to Clarice.
Cara: �Will you teach me how to speak Elven?�
Luna_Faline switches the sword to the other paw, looks at Eclipse as I shake my paw out trying for relief from the death grip I had on the sword.
Tewyn: �Yes, I can teach you that...And all the good things to say to anger that snobby lightwalker we have around, too,� giving Cara a wink.
Vin_Da_DM: Selenia studies Drac with a strong intensity in her gaze, as if staring beyond him at something else. She switches the same view to Valrash as she speaks, �What have you to say to these accusations, Valrash?�
Cara: �You are meaning the woman that travels with the white hooded man?�
Valrash says, �My father is on the Council, yes. My brother�I whispered, �You will die here today.� And finally, I was misguided in doing something to another Warrior. Pressured you can say.� He sighs.
Tewyn nods, �Yes, they don�t seem to like Drows very much...though I can�t see why�Our charm is unmatched.�
^Shinta looks at Katie, �So you want to keep walking, or should we take a little break and admire the scenery while we are still here?�
Katie smiles at Shinta. �Taking a break sounds good, I guess.�
Kyra narrows her eyes. �Hmm.�
Cara smiles, �And I suppose�Halflings aren�t liked very well either. I would like to know...what is the Elven word for �Father�?�
Tewyn looks at Cara, �Va...The word is Va.�
Valrash continues, �To be honest, at times myself�I wonder what side I should fight for. But usually the battle ends in my mother�s words, �Follow the Warriors��and so, that I will do."
^Shinta looks around, �See any places that peek your interest?�
Cara repeats the word, �Va��
Cara leans over and hugs her father and whispers in his ear very softly, �Thank you, Va.�
Vin_Da_DM: Selenia nods, then closes her eyes for a moment. Opening them again she glances at the both of them. �Drac, your desire to protect your friends from harm is honorable. Valrash, your heart tells a desire to do good as a way to pay penance for your darker half, like your mother before you. Instinct is powerful, but you must learn to rise above them if you wish others to see the good in you as well.�
Katie shrugs with a smile still hovering on her lips. �Not particularly. Although a place to sit would be nice.�
Tewyn: �You are more than welcome.�
^Shinta: �Hmmm, let�s see...How about over by those trees?�
Katie: �Sounds like a plan.� Katie nods.
Luna_Faline looks from Val to Drac, �I do not want to see you fighting each other again.�
^Shinta walks with Katie towards the trees.
Clarice gets a warm feeling in her heart as she watches Cara and Tewyn together, while remembering her own father and how he manipulated and used her to achieve many of his goals.
Valrash sighs a sigh of relief like even he did not know how this would turn out.
DracBlue looks at Luna and nods.
Luna_Faline nods at Drac, then glares at Val, �No more.�
Valrash looks up at Luna and says, �Sure�I only defended myself, anyway.�
Cara: �Have I told you what you wish to know about Kabal, Va?� as she releases her arms from his neck.
Luna_Faline growls, �I mean it, you may not make it to the Goddess next time you play a mind game on a Warrior.�
^Shinta pokes Katie lightly in the side. �So�should I be expecting Round 2 sometime soon...Or did I somehow manage to earn a reprieve?�
Valrash just nods.
Katie arches a brow, �We shall see,� but there is laughter in her eyes.
Tewyn: �It was a nice start. Thank you for sharing it with us.�
Luna_Faline finally relaxes enough to slip the sword back into it�s sheath.
Vin_Da_DM: �Looks like the matters been solved, which means we can return to preparing for the task ahead,� Eclipse says looking at the others.
^Shinta smiles at Katie.
Luna_Faline nods at Eclipse, �And since you two seem so eager to take to the sky, you�ll have no need of mounts to ride. You will need your rest�we leave at dawn. I suggest you both return to your rooms and rest.�
Valrash gets up and says, �I can�t use my wings that much. They�re underdeveloped.�
DracBlue says, �Fine, I�ll see you tomorrow, Luna.�
Katie tucks her legs under her and sits under a tree, closing her eyes.
DracBlue heads up to his room and sits on his bed.
Cara smiles broadens, �It helped to talk about him.�
Luna_Faline looks him over, �Then you should exercise them more and build them up.�
^Shinta: �So, emerald eyes�Think you would do me the pleasure of sharing a drink when we are finished with the battle in front of us?�
Tewyn: �Glad we could help, its nice to see a genuine smile on your face.�
Valrash looks at Luna, �I�ll fly halfway at most, then I�ll fall. So I�ll fly as far as I can�if you want.� He looks worried.
Katie opens one eye and looks over at Shinta. �Depends. Gonna start another bar fight? I mean, I can hold my own against one or two, but more than that, I�d need some help.�
Cara blushes slightly.
^Shinta: �Was hoping to differ from the bar fight...Less you plan on kicking my butt.�
Katie closes her eye again. �That still remains to be seen.� She grins and leans back against the tree.
Tewyn pats Cara on the leg.
Luna_Faline nods and motions him to leave the way he came in. Then turns back to Selenia and kneels at her feet. �Thank you, Misstress.�
^Shinta sits to the side of Katie and leans back on the tree. �Remy said you would kick my butt anyway and he would be glad to help,� laughing a bit.
Vin_Da_DM: Selenia stands from her throne and places a hand on Luna�s cheek, �Stay strong, Luna�and help them remain true to themselves.� She moves to leave, then glances at Luna and her sword, giving a wordless nod she disappears into her private chambers.
Valrash makes a bow and leaves and looks at his wings and heads to his room and falls asleep.
Katie snorts. �I�ll kick Remy�s first.�
^Shinta laughs, �Yes, for those things he said today,� hiding the smile on his face.
Kyra purses her lips in thought, shrugs and keeps walking.
Luna_Faline looks up at Selenia as she caresses my cheek then stands as she leaves. Turning back to Eclipse, �Did you see my sword glowing?�
Clarice: �Is a pity we have no camera. That was definitely a Kodak moment.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse arches his brow, �Yes, seemed to react when you were getting upset.�
Katie: �No. For everything he said before,� her eyes remain closed. �And dearest?� she smiles, �Remy wouldn�t have bothered to change it to �butt�.� She chuckles softly.
Tewyn sticks his tongue out at Clarice.
Luna_Faline moves towards the doors to the garden of privacy, �My paw went all tingly and almost numb, like the sword was part of my arm. I never felt that way with a weapon before.�
^Shinta eyes grow wide, mouth agape, �I...umm...yea.��
Claron sighs as she reaches her arm around to her back and begins to rub it gently.
Katie reaches over, eyes still closed, and pats Shinta�s hand, not saying anything else.
Clarice laughs, �I can think of a good use for that tongue of yours.�
^Shinta blushes heavily placing his hand over Katie�s.
Tewyn: �You�re not allowed cameras, you know that. After that whole bunny slipper�maid stunt you pulled.�
Luna_Faline walks thru the garden and into her private suite, unbuckling the leather across my chest and laying the sword on the altar. �It was thrilling and frightening at the same time,� looking up at Eclipse.
Clarice laughs even harder, �But you looked so great in the French maid�s uniform.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Interesting...must be a magical blade then,� Eclipse looks at it with curiosity.
Vin_Da_DM: �A very powerful one at that,� Eclipse looks over at Luna.
Luna_Faline takes Eclipse�s hand and leads him into my bedroom. �I like magical blades,� giving him a wink.
Cara looks at her father and Clarice bewildered. �French maid�s outfit, camera, use of tongue?�
Tewyn: �Trust me, daughter�you DON�T want to know.�
Tabris: �Need a backrub, baby?� Tabris watches Claron rub her back.
Claron nods her head, �I think so...and a nap, methinks. Tab, I�m not feeling so great right now.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse lays down across Luna�s bed looking at her with a smug smirk, �And what about shields?�
Tabris: �Alright, let�s get you to a bed then,� Tabris takes Claron in hand and begins leading her back to their bedroom in the castle.
Luna_Faline smiles as she climbs across the bed to lay with him, �A good, strong shield is even more important,� leaning over him to claim a kiss.
Vin_Da_DM: As the twin suns crawl their way towards sunset, the clouds shift into a purple hue and the sky gains an orange hue. The pace of city life slows, most of the citizens returning to their homes after a days work.
Vin_Da_DM: Selenia looks over at one of her bodyguards, petting it on the head as it sits next to her bed. She nods to the giant tiger, �I know. Once Luciendar awakens, the others will as well.� She looks at the tiger, �He will help them find them, let us hope they will end up in the right hands.� Selenia shifts her gaze to the suns beyond her white veiled balcony.
