Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: En-route to Gul-Qian space the Ettik ran across a hyperspace dead zone, an area of space where a hyperspace corridor cannot be maintained, which was a thick and foggy nebula.
Vin_Da_DM: While traveling through this nebula a massive dark shape appeared off one side of the ship. As it grew closer and penetrated the fog that hid it, the Warriors discovered it was another ship. Unfortunately there was not enough time for either ship to evade and the two crashed together.
Vin_Da_DM: Part of the other ship embedded itself into the Ettik, causing both ship and pilot pain as well as causing significant damage to the living ship. Afterwards the Warriors set out to survey the damage done to their ship.
Vin_Da_DM: Though separated from the main group Stryder found a young girl named Kyra in an exposed section of the other vessel. After she was taken to Medical it was discovered she was a stowaway on the other ship.
Vin_Da_DM: Meanwhile several of the Warriors reached Ettik�s bridge where an injured Alexei told them they had to separate both vessels soon or Ettik would die and he along with it.
Vin_Da_DM: *Time Passed: None*
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei cringes as he looks at the others in the bridge, �There is one way�*cough* to fix this, but it�s dangerous and�*cough* will cost us.� His good eye scans the others hoping for a different plan than the one he had thought of.
Vin_Da_DM: Outside the two ships continues to spiral silent through the thick nebula, the trail of debris dying off as the last of the loose bits come off.
Clarice looks over at Eclipse then back at Alexei, �How much time do we have before its too late?�
Vin_Da_DM: �From the look of things, I�d say not very long.� Eclipse says as he looks around the bridge and out at the Ettik from the remaining parts of the view screen that are transmitting.
Vin_Da_DM: �At the most, I�d say several hours,� Alexei says as he straightens his stance for a moment then goes back to holding his side and leaning a bit.
Kyra eyes the hallway again, frowning. �This ship is�strange. Almost like it�s got a life of it�s own.�
Claron�s eyes widen, �Oh my god, I just remembered that Ettik and Alexei are interconnected! We have to do something or we are going to lose them both!� Dashes out of Med Bay.
Vin_Da_DM: �It�s alive,� Stryder says to Kyra as he watches Claron run off.
Luna_Faline looks at Tabris, �Can you make a seal of obsidian to cover that hole?�
Kyra: �Alive? Whoa. So, this can�t be good that we punched a hole in it.� She looks concerned.
Tabris: �I�d better go after her�� Tabris says looking at Stryder, Luna and Kyra, �What hole?�
Kat|e: �So, we have to figure this out, and fast.� Katie looks worried.
Luna_Faline: �The one that will be left when we get the ships apart.�
Kyra nods, �With the collision, it had to have caused some major damage. And I think yer ship is gonna die if we don�t get them apart. But then we�ll have a vacuum. Oh, dear. I don�t like this.�
Claron makes her way down the corridor towards the debris strewn area. Glancing quickly over her shoulder she sees Tabris following behind her.
Vin_Da_DM: �Times like this I miss my old body�� Eclipse sighs to himself then looks at Alexei and Katie, �Well, getting them apart will require a good amount of force.�
Clarice: �We have to separate the ships somehow and take our chances.�
Kat|e nods at Eclipse. �And a great deal of careful maneuvering, methinks.�
Luna_Faline looks at Stryder and Kyra, �I suppose we should go with them.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I can try,� Tabris nods then looks at the hallway, �Keep an eye on these two, Luna.� He says with a nod before running after Claron.
Kyra: �Yeah. Maybe I�ll be of some help. But I�m pretty useless. Let�s go.�
Luna_Faline sighs, �I don�t like being separated like we are.�
Clarice looks at Eclipse: �I could try to use the icy shockwave...but then, I am afraid that is liable to kill us all��
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, if we don�t come up with a better idea soon, I�ll have to use the last resort�� Alexei manages to get a clear sentence out before coughing again.
Clarice turns back to Alexei, �Last resort? What is the last result, exactly?�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder spaces out for a moment as if hearing something then shakes it off, �Separated...yea, if we�re going to go then let�s go.�
Kat|e looks at Alexei with deep concern, �There has to be a way.� She rubs her temples tiredly.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse raises a brow at Alexei.
Claron makes her way through and around the debris carefully, and tries to settle in her mind what she needs to do as she approaches where the other ship can be seen.
Vin_Da_DM: �The bond is only one way�� Alexei says as he manages to get across the bridge to the lift shaft, �I�ll die if Ettik does, but it won�t if I do.� Alexei sighs before looking at the others, �I could use my powers to remove the other ship.�
Luna_Faline makes my way thru the mess in the hallway. �I just don�t know what to do.�
Kat|e: �Oh Goddess, no�� she pales.
Vin_Da_DM: �Beats me...I�m no mechanic,� Stryder comments as he heads down the hallway with Luna.
Kyra follows, looking around curiously.
Vin_Da_DM: Except for the debris, loose panels and exposed wiring Kyra notices the inside of the ship is calm and fairly silent, the occasional low bass creaking-moan echoing down the halls.
Kyra shudders, �Weird,� she whispers.
Tabris walks up behind Claron and looks around, �So, what exactly do you plan on doing, Hun?�
Claron stands near the section of Ettik as Tabris approaches her. �I don�t think I can separate the ship from here. Would probably be easier to do it from the outside. And I am so confused as to where or how to get out there!� says exasperatedly.
Luna_Faline places my paw on the wall, �I know, I�m so sorry,� in a soothing whispurr, wishing my healing worked on Ettik.
Vin_Da_DM: �And that would kill you I take it?� Eclipse says as he looks at Alexei, getting a nod as reply. �Then we�d better think of something else.�
Tabris: �Well...if we could survive it, I would find an empty room near the damaged parts, seal it and blow out a wall,� Tabris says with a heavy shrug.
Claron shakes her head, �Unless, I had help...maybe with help I could do it from the inside��
Kat|e ponders this.
Kat|e: �Maybe�� she frowns thoughtfully, �If I could�� she sighs.
Vin_Da_DM: �Go on,� Eclipse looks at Katie wanting to hear her idea.
Claron looks directly into Tabris eyes, �Need to manipulate this ship�s gravity�� turns to look up at the what used to be the ceiling. �That�s just it�could we survive you doing that?�
Luna_Faline leans my head against the wall and prays silently to the goddess, �Mistress, please help us,� I beg, �Do something,� over and over.
Kat|e: �If I could collapse a section�it might ease the exit a bit. But without knowing what�s inside the section that�s intruded�I mean, I wouldn�t want to hurt anyone who might be on the ship��
Kat|e gnaws her lip, tears welling.
Tabris: �Claron...what exactly are you planning on doing?" Tabris places a firm hand on her shoulder.
Kyra looks at Luna, her head cocked to the side waiting.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei grabs a datapad from his belt and taps on it a few times then hands it to Katie. �Highlighted sections are safe to collapse...assuming nobody�s in them.� He sighs, �Coms are down, so you�ll have to check yourself.�
Kat|e nods.
Claron feels Tabris� hand on her shoulder, �I had thought if I could get it into some type of gravity bubble�but I dunno...it�s an awfully big ship�� says nervously.
Tabris: �Sounds like we need to find some spacesuits and get outside for a better view on this thing,� Tabris says looking around for any airlocks.
Claron: �Maybe Katie could make some of the ship�s metal collapse. Give me something smaller or slightly easier to work with?�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m not sure how much that�ll help us,� Stryder says as he watches Luna praying.
Kat|e: �Well, in all honesty, Goddess forgive me, I�m more worried about us�and you� than anyone on that ruddy ship.� She peruses the datapad.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�ll come with you, Katie,� Eclipse says then looks over at Clarice.
Kat|e nods at Eclipse. �Let�s see what we can do, Smudge.�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei manages a short chuckle, �Your way would save the other ship at least...*cough*. Mine involves disintegrating it��
Claron ponders for a second, �I could put me for sure into a gravity bubble without a suit��
Luna_Faline looks at Stryder, �It may not help at all, but it�s all I can do.� Goes back to praying silently with my paws planted on Ettik�s hull.
Tabris: �If you can�t do it for both of us I understand�� Tabris sighs and looks at Claron concerned, �If you�re going to go outside alone, good luck.�
Kat|e makes her way back to the point of the puncture, still chewing her lip.
Vin_Da_DM: Meanwhile. Outside on Ettik�s hull Syne looks up at the massive arm of the other ship protruding from the side of Ettik, �We sure don�t want to be stuck like this for very long��
Claron looks perplexed at Tabris, �I dunno if I can do it for both of us��
Kat|e: �I�m a little unsure about this. But I�ve got to try. I can�t let Alexei give his life without busting my ass to find another way,� she says, running a hand over her dirt-smeared face.
Tabris: �Then do it for yourself. There should be a pressure door to seal off this section of the hallway.� Tabris looks around for any controls.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks at Kyra then at Luna, �You stay here with her, Kyra. I�ll...go check on things.� Stryder turns and shimmers mid-step as he jogs down the hallway.
Kyra�s eyes widen, �Oh, goodness. That�s a handy lil thing to be able to do.�
Kat|e reaches Claron. �I have an idea�dunno how good it is�� she says, seeing her friend�s worried look.
Luna_Faline sighs and looks at Kyra, �Yes, it is. Active abilities are very helpful most of the time.�
Claron watches Tabris with a worried look in her eyes then startles as she hears Katie�s voice. �What kind of plan?�
Kyra looks at her feet, �Mine�s kinda dumb.�
Tabris looks at Katie and Eclipse, �You�re back. How�s the bridge look?�
Kat|e: �Well, only part of one. If I collapse a few sections of the ship, it will make it easier to remove. But we still need to worry about sealing the hole�possibly even patching it. And moving the ship once it�s small enough.�
Luna_Faline asks Kyra, �What can you do? Cause I don�t think any gift is dumb.�
Vin_Da_DM: �It�s a good enough plan,� Eclipse says looking between Katie and Claron.
Kyra colors a bit, �Wind,. I control wind. Pretty useless, unless yer trying to move a single person out of your way.�
Luna_Faline shakes my head, �Do you create the wind? Or just control an existing wind?�
Tabris: �I should be able to seal the holes well enough to last until real repairs can be done,� Tabris says semi-confidently.
Kyra looks back up, �I can create, or control one that already exists. I�m still learning how to focus it, though.�
Claron nods her head, �Sounds similar to what I have been thinking. Next question is�
how do we patch it so we aren�t sucked out as soon as it moves?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks around then nods, �It�s dark enough, I should be able to root everyone in place. Only problem is dealing with the lack of oxygen.�
Kat|e: �Well, there you go. Together again, we rock, dontchathink?� A small smile begins to curve her lips. �Just like old times, huh?�
Luna_Faline rubs my chin, �Can you make a gravity bubble around the hole to keep the air in? Like a condom on ya hubby?� as she and Kyra near Claron, Tabris, Kat|e, and Eclipse.
Claron: �Maybe, with everyone working together I could encase it all in a bubble?�
Claron: �Hmm, I should be able to make a bubble like you suggest. It�s worth a try��
Luna_Faline: �The bubble could shrink as the ship is pulled out of Ettik.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Luna, think you can head to the bridge and check on Alexei? He�s injured,� Eclipse says looking at her with some concern.
Claron: �I could encase the whole ship.��
Kyra notices Katie and turns pale.
Tabris: �You sure? Won�t that drain you a lot?� Tabris places his hand on Claron�s shoulder again, �How about just creating a bubble around this section?�
Luna_Faline takes Eclipse�s hand in my paw and squeezes it for a moment, �Sure, Be careful.� Then I run off towards the bridge. Picking my way thru the rubble.
Kyra backs up a bit, quietly, trying to stay unnoticed.
Kat|e looks at the arm of the intruding ship cautiously.
Vin_Da_DM: �You there...what can you do that could help us?� Eclipse motions at Kyra noticing her as she backs up.
Luna_Faline follows Eclipse�s scent trail to the elevator shaft, looking into it I jump onto the ladder and climb up to the bridge quickly. As I crawl out of the shaft into the bridge I look around for the others.
Claron eyes move towards the other ship. �I get it...now!� Claron starts concentrating and visualizes the bubble around the part of the ship that is inside Ettik.
Kyra jumps, �Um�I don�t know.�
Luna_Faline moves over to Alexei, �Eclipse sent me to check on you,� putting a paw on his side, �How bad is it? Really?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse goes down to one knee and presses both hands firm against the floor, looking over at Kyra he nods, �Well, you�re inside the bubble now, try not to move this�ll feel funny.�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei cringes at Luna then looks down at the half-circular piece of metal sticking out of his side, �Me or Ettik?�
Luna_Faline studies the metal, �Both?� I ask.
Kat|e narrows her eyes concentrating on �folding� the arm of the ship down smaller for ease of removal.
Clarice notices Luna with Alexei, �Is there anything I can do to help?� glancing from Luna_Faline to Alexei.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei sighs and leans back against the wall, �Assuming they succeed, we�ll live,� he coughs again and wipes the blood from his mouth with his already bloody hand, �We�ll be with cruise engines for a while��
Luna_Faline nods and looks up at Alexei�s face, �This needs to come out, so I can heal your wound.�
Vin_Da_DM: Black tendrils extend from the rippling shadows around Eclipse�s hands. The tendrils quietly wrap around everyone�s feet and ankles. Eclipse watches Katie as he concentrates.
Claron continues to concentrate as Kat|e starts collapsing parts of the ship above them.
Tabris watches as Katie�s powers bending and collapsing parts of the other ship�s arm. �It�s working.�
Kyra gasps, but holds still, trembling.
Vin_Da_DM: �Then by all means...*cough* Get it out,� Alexei says to Luna.
Kat|e adds a little �push� as the other ship shrinks.
Luna_Faline motions Clarice to come help, �Hold onto him,� as I take hold of the metal.
Kyra grits her teeth and concentrates on giving a push of her own, with a controlled burst of wind aimed at the �arm�.
Clarice moves quickly over towards Alexei and grabs a hold of him.
Vin_Da_DM: As Katie continues to crush parts of the other ship Ettik shutters and moans in response. The shrinking beginning to reveal the gaping hole in Ettik�s decks having almost broken through the other side.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei looks at Luna and Clarice giving a small nod as he clenches his fists, �Do it��
Claron continues on the bubble making sure it moves with the ship to maintain the seal and retain our oxygen.
Clarice chuckles, �Is that an invitation?�
Luna_Faline looks at Alexei then pulls hard and fast so the metal will come out quick. I throw it aside and put my paws over the gaping wound to heal it. �Sorry, Alexei.�
Tabris: Continuing to watch Tabris begins to form a flat sheet of obsidian hovering just above the ground in front of him, eyeing the hull and bending it accordingly.
Claron tries not to let anything break her concentration.
Vin_Da_DM: As the metal is removed Alexei shouts out a cry of pain. Luna�s healing begins to mend the tear in his side slowly.
Luna_Faline keeps a study pressure on the wound as it heals over, �I wish I could help Ettik as well.�
Vin_Da_DM: As the remains of the other ship�s arm begins to look more and more like a giant crushed tin-can it begins to slide out of the hole it made coming it. Eclipse nods, �Doing good...just keep it going.�
Luna_Faline tells Clarice and Alexei, �I think the others came up with a way to remove the other ship.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I noticed...look,� Alexei points a hand at the working section of view screen beside them which gives view of the crumpled arm of the other ship slowly rising from Ettik�s hull and Syne sitting next to the hole watching it.
Kat|e begins to tremble with the exertion, but keeps her concentration.
Tabris: �Ready to patch once it�s all the way out,� Tabris says giving a nod to the others.
Luna_Faline watches the view screen, �If this all works, how long until we get to Gul-Qian?�
Tabris: Moving a hand over the obsidian sheet Tabris makes a glass window in the center of it with a nod to himself. Looking up he watches as the gravity bubble has moved the other ship�s arm halfway out of the Ettik.
Kat|e staggers into the wall, her head spinning.
Vin_Da_DM: �We�re without hyperdrive and heavily damaged. If we drift out of this nebula while we repair, it�ll take us a few more days.� Alexei says as he looks down at his healed side.
Claron feels her head begin to hurt, her knees start to crumble out unexpectedly from underneath her...with a gasp, �I can�t hold it much longer�� She collapses to the floor.
Luna_Faline nods, �Can we send a signal out for help?"
Kat|e: �That�s all I can manage,� she gasps, sliding down the wall.
Kat|e closes her eyes, panting.
Vin_Da_DM: �It�s not out yet�� Eclipse mutters to himself as he releases the tendrils. �Tabris, have that patch ready. Everyone...hold on to something.�
Vin_Da_DM: �We didn�t see the ship until it crashed into us...I doubt any signals can reach beyond this nebula,� Alexei sighs, �It isn�t called a dead space for no reason.�
Luna_Faline shakes my head, �I�ll never be an expert at this space stuff. Give me solid ground any day.�
Claron head feels like her head is about to burst and with one finally cry she screams out. Pushing in her mind the bubble flat and with a *snap* to propel the ship completely out.
Vin_Da_DM: The other ship�s arm flies out of the hole. The air begins to rush out of the hallway but is stopped as Tabris slams the patch over the hole and begins to secure it against the bulkhead.
Kat|e opens her eyes, suddenly seeing Kyra. She gasps, �You!�
Kyra cowers back a bit.
Claron slumps to the floor.
Luna_Faline looks up at the view screen and sees the ship floating away from us. �Looks like it worked, but how is Syne going to get back inside?�
Kat|e closes her eyes again, shaking her head. �I�m not even going to get into it now,� she says feebly.
Clarice turns to look at the view screen, �It looks like they may have finally released the other ship.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Probably the galley, the windows were damaged,� Alexei comments as he moves over to one of the non-holographic control panels.
Tabris moves over to Claron after double checking the patch. �Claron?�
Luna_Faline: �Okay, but that area is sealed off, so how does he get thru the seal?�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei shrugs as he enters several commands, �I�m not sure...he could use one of the docking bays as well.�
Claron hears faintly the sound of Tabris� voice, but can�t find the strength to move a muscle.
Vin_Da_DM: Inside Ettik the multi-floor hole begins to buzz with the sound of clicking and skittering as several of Ettik�s crab-like machines begin to start repairs.
Kyra watches them critters with a wide-eyed stare.
Tabris: �You did good, Babe,� Tabris lifts Claron off the floor and looks at everyone else. �I�m going to take her to Medical, then I�ll come back to help as I can.�
Kyra: �Really, REALLY weird,� she says, shaking her head and watching Katie out of the corner of her eye.
Vin_Da_DM: �Phew...good job, you guys.� Eclipse looks over at Kyra with an approving nod, �I�m guessing that gust of wind was yours?�
Kat|e stays slumped over, her breathing now shallow.
Kyra looks faintly pleased, �Yeah. Wasn�t sure if it would help, but��
Luna_Faline: �Alexei, you gonna be alright now?�
Claron feels the arms swooping her up and hears Tabris words as her head falls gently against his shoulder, �D--d--d--did it work?� she murmurs weakly.
Vin_Da_DM: �Physically, yes.� Alexei looks over at Luna, �Mentally...Ettik is in pain and it�s feel like I am, too.�
Clarice turns to look around the bridge for Tewyn, �He couldn�t have gotten very far.�
Luna_Faline looks over at Clarice, �What about you? You alright?� turns back to Alexei, �I can�t seem to help Ettik, much as I want to.�
Tabris: �Yes, Babe, it worked.� Tabris kisses Claron on the forehead as he carries down towards the med bay.
Clarice: �I�m fine, just wondering were my Drow got off to.�
Luna_Faline nods, �There are several missing people we need to check on.�
Claron: �T--t--that�s good��
Kat|ie lays down among the debris, her head splitting, barely hearing the sounds around her.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at the big hole breaching several decks and sighs, �Well...I guess it�s repair time.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�ll try to get coms up as soon as I can,� Alexei says as he looks at Luna.
Luna_Faline looks at Alexei, �Can you get life readings yet?�
Clarice: �Yes, we should,. Is there anything you need us to do here, Alexei?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Depends on who you�re looking for,� Alexei says with a sigh.
Luna_Faline sighs, �Tewyn, Shinta, Guardian for starters.�
Clarice adds, �Syne.�
Luna_Faline looks over at the view screen, �We know he�s alive, he was outside.�
Clarice: �I know that, but where is he now?�
Kyra stands over Katie with a frown, �I think there�s something wrong.�
Clarice moves toward the ladder, �If there isn�t anything else required of me, I think I will see if I can find some of the missing.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m not sure about Tewyn and Shinta,� Alexei says as he looks at the control console, �One of the repair drones says the Guardian is on the engineering deck working on repairing on the damage there.�
Luna_Faline moves to follow Clarice down the lift shaft, �Okay, we�ll go check on the others.�
Tabris: Setting Claron down on an exam table in the med bay, Tabris runs a hand across Claron�s face softly.
Kyra sits down next to Katie, �I dunno if you can hear me, lady. But I�m sorry about the last time we met. I was just hungry. And it was there.�
Clarice: �Um, Luna the lift isn�t operational�we need to use the ladder.�
Clarice climbs down the ladder to the other side.
Luna_Faline chuckles, �I know that, I climbed up the ladder.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks over at Katie and Kyra with a raised brow, �What are you talking about? Is Katie all right?!�
Luna_Faline climbs down the ladder and jumps thru the door on the galley level, picking my way back thru the debris to find the others.
Kyra looks at Eclipse. �I don�t know. Her breathing�s kinda funky.� She looks back at Katie. �We�ve�um�met before, briefly� I�kinda stole some vegetables out of her garden. She tried to brain me with a broom and I ran off.�
Claron�s eyes flutter open, a smile crosses her lips as Tabris face comes into focus. �My head hurts.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I see�� Eclipse kneels down next to Katie and checks her pulse then looks at her eyes. �Hmm...where�s Luna when you need her.�
Luna_Faline comes upon Eclipse just as he says my name, �I�m here,� kneeling next to him, �What�s wrong?�
Clarice makes her way through the debris and stops short when she sees Eclipse and some girl beside him.
Tabris: �I bet. That was some serious power working you did back there,� Tabris grins at her, �Damn fine job.�
Kyra: �I don�t think she�s too happy to see me, again.� She frowns and stands up, walking around. �Where�s that hot guy who rescued me?� she murmurs softly to herself.
Claron: �Couldn�t have done it without help.�
Kat|e: �T�.� she swallows faintly, �tired�so tired. Did we do it?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Yes, we did it, Katie.� Eclipse looks down at Katie with a nod and short smile.
Claron smiles weakly, �Smart thinking with the obsidian too, my love.�
Luna_Faline feels Katie�s pulse and hears her shallow breathing, �Yes, you did a good job,� I purr, �She�s exhausted,� to Eclipse.
Kat|e smiles weakly up at him, �Thanks, Smudge. Glad�� she drifts a moment, �glad I could help.�
Luna_Faline looks around the hall as I stand up, �Let�s take her to the med bay, it seems to be in one piece.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse nods and picks Katie up with seemingly little effort on his part, �Wonder how many quarters were damaged?�
Kat|e opens her eyes, �Sorry to be a bother�� she frowns.
Luna_Faline: �I don�t know, but we don�t have life signs on the ship for several people. The sensors are not fully functioning.�
Kat|e: �Shinta? Where�s Shinta?� she struggles to look around, wincing at the pain in her head.
Clarice: �That�s a good question, Eclipse,� her eyes move over to the girl, �Who might you be?� as she and Kyra follow behind Luna and Eclipse carrying Kat|e.
Kyra looks at Clarice, �Hi. I�m Kyra. Stowaway from the offending ship. Sorry for the trouble.� She blushes.
Luna_Faline places a paw on Katie�s shoulder as I motion Eclipse to lay her on a med bed �We�ll find him, I�m sure he�s fine�
Kat|e struggles harder to look around, �Oh Goddess, where is he?� her eyes well up.
Clarice: �Stowaway, you say... I�m Clarice. I don�t imagine you are responsible for any of this,� smiles softly at Kyra. �So, you think my nephew is hot, do ya?� chuckling softly.
Kyra blushes harder, �Your nephew?�
Kyra mentally kicks herself for being overheard.
Clarice: �Yes, I am Claron�s sister.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m sure he�s around here somewhere, Katie. We�ll find him.� Eclipse says as he carefully lays Katie on the med table, glancing over at Claron and Tabris at the other one.
Tabris: �Is she okay?� Tabris looks over at Katie from his spot standing beside Claron.
Claron glances over as Luna and Eclipse comes in with his arms full, �We always did work good together, McKinnon.�
Luna_Faline moves over to check on Claron, �Exhausted, but alright I think.�
Claron: �Head�hurts.�
Kat|e groans, �Every time. Every single damn time. Where the hell has he gotten to, now?� then looks at Claron, �Yeah, we make quite the team, DuVallis.� then she grins at Tab, �And DuVallis.�
Luna_Faline places a paw on Claron�s head for a moment, �Any better?� as I step back.
Claron chuckles�
Tabris smirks, �My pleasure, Kat.�
Kat|e closes her eyes, feeling a pain that has nothing to do with exhaustion and exertion, centering in her chest.
Claron feels her headache beginning to subside, �Yes, better than it was.�
Luna_Faline moves back to Katie placing a paw on her arm, �Katie?�
Kat|e: �Hm?� she doesn�t open her eyes, and tears squeeze out around her lids.
Claron: �So, guess getting drunk in the galley is out of the question right now. Eh, Kat?�
Luna_Faline leans down closer, �There�s more wrong than I can heal, isn�t there?� I whispurr in her ear.
Kat|e gives a weak giggle, �So it would seem, dammit. Though right about now I could sure as hell use a drink.� she sighs.
Claron pushes herself up to a sitting position on the med bay table.
Vin_Da_DM: Though full of static the coms spurt to life in the med bay with Alexei�s Russian accent heavier as his voice sounds frustrated. �Is...working? *electric spark noise* Damn it...coms online...one down, several...*bzzt*...to go.�
Claron: �Couldn�t agree with you more.�
Kat|e looks at Luna, �You could say that.� She sighs again, staring at the ceiling.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, I guess that�s a good sign,� Eclipse says as he hears the com come to life.
Claron reaches a hand out to Tabris. �Any idea where our son got off to?�
Kyra looks at Clarice, �Claron. She�s the one that was helping get the ship out?�
Luna_Faline nods as I pat her arm, �I�m sorry,� I purrsigh. Then I stand up and look at Eclipse, �Lots left to fix.�
Tabris: �Should be some food we can get to,� Tabris says somewhat unsure, �I think I saw a few crates in a cargo bay. Assuming it�s still intact.�
Tabris looks at Claron catching her question, �Not sure...he�s good at disappearing though.�
Clarice smiles, �That be her.�
Kyra nods, �Stryder�s mom. Got it. Lots of people on this ship.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Not as many as it seems,� Eclipse says to Kyra, �Though the variety of races might throw some off.�
Kyra nods, still looking at Katie, who refuses to look at her.
Clarice: �Quite a few indeed. I am sure before long you will have met them all. So, tell me...how is it you came to be on that other ship?�
Luna_Faline wraps my arms around Eclipse and hugs him, �The Fates sure seem to hate us.�
Kyra: �Well, I was trying to get off the planet I was stuck on, trying to go wherever the wind blew�no pun intended. I just kinda hopped on, to get somewhere new. They found me and locked me in a storage room.�
Claron: �Wonder how long before things return to a more normal state�a nice hot shower, massage would feel good about now,� winks to Tabris.
Vin_Da_DM: �Apparently,� Eclipse says as he returns Luna�s hug with a light kiss, �But we�re still alive, so they�ll have to try harder next time.�
Luna_Faline smiles as he kisses me. �Sshhh, don�t give them any ideas.�
Clarice laughs as she hears Claron comment from the door of the med bay��Guess you are feeling more like yourself, Sis.�
Tabris chuckles at Clarice�s comment to Claron, �Glad to see we�re all feeling better.�
Kat|e: �So, you sneak aboard ships as well as being a thief.� She says, turning her head to glare at Kyra.
Kyra goes red, �I said I was sorry! Geez!�
Kyra flounces out of the room, her stomach grumbling.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not quite sure about that one just yet.� Eclipse says as he watches Kyra leave.
Claron chuckles, �I am a lucky woman, one look from you, and a kiss works magic on me every time.�
Luna_Faline shakes my head, �Where is she going? Should we follow her? Or just go see if our room is still there?�
Kyra: �Jeez. You'd think I�d done something awful. Wasn�t like she and her ol� man didn't have plenty.� She wanders around, talking to herself, or so it seems.
Tabris: �Suppose it�s a good idea to check and see who�s still got a bedroom and who doesn�t,� Tabris says in reply to Luna, having overheard.
Clarice gets a funny look on her face, �A thief?�
Kat|e looks at Eclipse �That little bitch got caught raiding my garden, and acts like it was okay. I don�t like her.�
Vin_Da_DM: Kyra hears a few heavy objects falling from behind a door nearby, then footsteps as the door opens and Syne in his large lizard/bear form walks into the hallway from the docking bay.
Luna_Faline turns to Katie, �How big was your garden? Did you have plenty? Would have caused you great inconvenience to have shared your abundance with one who had nothing?�
Kyra screams and falls, tripping over debris.
Claron turns to look at Kat|e, �Maybe she had no choice, Kat...maybe it was her only way to survive. Seems to me, we met ^Savannah under similar circumstances.�
Kat|e curses under her breath, �Daezhel and I had just enough. And I would have shared. I don�t like thieves.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne turns his head and looks at Kyra, �Ouch...watch your step. You okay, kid?�
Kat|e sighs and nods at Claron �Yes, I know. You know I would have helped. But she should have asked.�
Kyra looks at Syne with huge eyes, nodding dumbly. �Uh�hi. I'm Kyra,� she trembles as she scrambles to her feet.
Vin_Da_DM: �So, you despise the girl for stealing some vegetables?� Eclipse shakes his head.
Luna_Faline: �She looks young, and was probably very scared. Purrhaps even embarrassed to ask for a hand out or help. Some people have only their pride left to them.�
Claron: �I know, but then she�s just a young thing�not much older than the twins... She could have thought it was the only way at the time.�
Kat|e closes her eyes again, �Oh yeah. I�m a big bad bitch. Poor little girl. If I�d have let every little urchin that came along steal my food, my husband and I would have starved.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne tilts his head noticing her shaking, �Awww...forgot to change,� With silent ripples Syne shifts back to his human form and smirks, �Heh...sorry about that kid. Name�s Syne. Resident Shifter of Shape, and what not.�
Kat|e throws a forearm across her eyes. �But yes, she probably was just doing whatever it took to get by. I�m sure in her place I would have done the same.�
Claron starts to laugh, �I don�t know if that�s exactly right. You did take Savannah in and we all knew she was a thief.�
Kyra nods again. �Pleased to meet you. Guess I�m going to have to get used to people popping in from out of nowhere. Stryder about made me wet myself with his little disappearing act.�
Luna_Faline shakes my head and turns to go after the girl, �I think she may have met our furry friend,� as I go out the door.
Tabris: �I�m glad you guys took Mom in...otherwise I wouldn�t have a brother and sister out there somewhere. And Dad wouldn�t have been happy�� Tabris says as he gazes away and begins to think back.
Kat|e smiles from behind her arm, �Yeah, Savannah will never be a regret. I miss her quirky ways.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Kid�s good at it, isn�t he.� Syne smirks at Kyra, �Sorry for startling ya, was getting a little cold outside and the air was a bit thin,� he chuckles at his own joke, not caring if she did or not.
Luna_Faline walks up to Kyra and Syne, �Everything alright?�
Kyra giggles, �Yeah. I�m fine. Just another one of y�alls special brand of surprises.�
Luna_Faline pats Syne�s arm, �Your looking a bit frosty,� with a smile. �He�s always good for a surprise.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Oh hey, Luna! So they got that ship out, pretty impressive,� Syne says as he smile again, �Not too bad. Never know when being able to turn into a giant lizard-bear that can survive space and extreme cold can come in handy with you guys.�
Kyra shakes her head, �Weird, weird, weird, weird, weird.� She mutters, ambling along, �I dunno about these people, Kyn. They are freakin� me out.�
Claron: �I miss Savannah, too. Would have been nice if we could have seen her before we ended up here,� glancing over at Tabris.
Luna_Faline nods, �Yes, took a lot out of Claron and Katie both. But they managed it.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Good for them, everybody doing all right otherwise?� Syne says as he stretches.
Luna_Faline watches Kyra wander off talking to someone, I turn to Syne with a raised brow. �Who is she talking to?�
Kat|e: �Dammit, Shinta where ARE you?� she whispers softly.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse nods to everyone in the med bay, �I think I�ll go take a look around this deck, see which rooms are still intact enough to use.�
Claron: �Maybe Remy is giving him grief.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne shrugs, �Imaginary friend? Herself? Beats me...humanoids do some strange things, I�ll tell ya.�
Luna_Faline watches Syne stretching, �We are not sure where some people are at the moment. The sensor�s are not working. But I think everyone�s alright.�
Luna_Faline giggles, �Don�t we all?� turning as I see Eclipse out the corner of my eye.
Katie sits up slowly, �I have to find him.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse walks up to Luna and gives a nod to Syne, �Want to come with? I�m checking the rooms on this deck to see which ones we can move back into.�
Clarice leans against the wall of Med Bay, reaching into her pocket she pulls out a joint and lighter. �Anybody care to join me,� as she shows them the joint.
Luna_Faline nods and takes his hand, �Sure, see ya, Syne,� as we move down the hall.
Tabris: �I�ll pass.� Tabris says as he sits on the nearby counter and fiddles with a medical tool.
Vin_Da_DM: �See ya�� Syne says as he watches the go then turns and walks towards the med bay area.
Kat|e gets off the table, wobbling. �I�m going to go looking for him.�
Claron: �I�ll join you, Sis... Has been some time since I last enjoyed the magic herb. For that matter, never did smoke any of that weed we got that was supposed to make you see or talk with the dead,� looks over at Tab.
Vin_Da_DM: Though free of the two-ship wreck, the Ettik, drifts slowly through the nebula still heavily damaged from the collision. The busy sounds of repair echo into every hall near the multi-deck hole in Ettik�s center sections. With a small burst from the engines Ettik turns slowly to get back on course to Gul-Qian space.
Vin_Da_DM: Meanwhile, on the bridge of the other ship Stryder looks out at the Ettik drifting away. Turning around he examines the smoking and charred bodies of the crew, noting an all too familiar presence about it all.
Vin_Da_DM: �I knew I sensed you�� He says coldly as he turns to face the burning portal melting the edges of the bulkhead it is set into, �So, it�s an invitation is it? Good�it�s time I fulfill that promise, Sis.� Narrowing his gaze he walks forward into the portal�
