Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: Trapped onboard the Dextera Ex Malum, Voyager�s command ship, the Warriors had two options; escape or fight. Their attempts to break the shielded walls that made up their �cell� eventually succeeded, but only led to battle in the end.
Vin_Da_DM: Voyager faced off against the Warriors and Cara turned on the Warriors as well, giving a second front to the battle. As the battle continued Voyager, seemingly invincible, was weakened greatly when the divine power in Luna�s sai was released into the ship itself.
Vin_Da_DM: As the large command ship began to crumble Voyager and Cara escape through a portal and Gabe used his manipulative powers to create an escape pod for everyone save himself. Giving them the promise of seeing them again, Gabe sent the escape pod into space.
Vin_Da_DM: While they waited rescue the remains of Voyager�s ship imploded, changing the tide of battle greatly. Elsewhere Voyager and Cara found their destination not as friendly as expected. Mileor, a Knight and father of the half-demon Valrash, easily dispatched the weakened Voyager and took Cara into custody.
Vin_Da_DM: *Time passed: A few minutes*
Vin_Da_DM: The escape pod shutters as the Ruinhammer�s tractor beam pulls the pod towards the opening cargo bay doors. A thin force field separates allowing the pod to drift into the bay, as it clears the bay doors a tractor beam inside takes over and sends the pod gently to the bay floor.
Vin_Da_DM: The escape pod settles against the floor of the Ruinhammer�s cargo bay. A few of the ship�s security staff pry it open and give a quick glance at you as if to make sure you�re really you. With a nod the apparent CO steps forward, �So you managed to destroy that thing, what of Captain Saturnes?�
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
Valrash just stares blankly around not paying attention thinking to no one in particular. ~I don�t know why, but I thought she would stay.~
Shadow sighs and feels particularly useless.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse climbs out of the escape pod and turns to offer Luna his hand to help her out.
Luna_Faline takes Eclipse�s hand and climbs out holding the damaged sai in the other paw. �How bad is it?� looking around the ship.
Shadow looks straight at Eclipse, �How can I help if I can�t harm them?�
Tabris looks at the CO and shakes his head, �Didn�t come with us, but he�s a tough bastard�I�m sure he�ll show up eventually.�
Kyra smoothes a hair away from Katie�s impassive face. �C�mon, KatieKool. You need to come back to us.�
Vin_Da_DM: One of the deck officers nods to Luna, �Hull breaches, impact damage and several boarding parties had to be dealt with. But she�s still flying, sir.�
Shadow snaps for no apparent reason, �It�s ma�am, ye greenwood.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse studies Shadow formulating a response, �What was an unique situation, you�re plenty helpful.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne looks at Katie then over at Kyra.
Tabris looks over at Claron then stands up, extending his arm for her as he does.
Vin_Da_DM: The deck officer looks at Shadow with a raised brow then goes back to going over data displaying on a small holo-readout from a small device next to one of his eyes.
Kyra looks worriedly at Syne and shrugs.
Clarice looks down at the floor briefly as she steps out of the pod.
Luna_Faline slips the sai hilt into a pocket and asks the officer, �Any injured need help?�
Claron smiles as she slips her arm through his and stands.
Shadow looks at Katie and says, �Miss, you look like you can use a drink about as much as I could right now.�
Claron glances around trying to locate Stryder.
Vin_Da_DM: The officer looks past the holo-data to Luna, �Medical staff is dealing with casualties. I�ve orders from the Fleet Admiral Nina to escort you to the Issik as soon as it�s convenient for you.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder sits in the back of the escape pod, his stare burning a steady hole in the pod�s flooring.
Kyra snaps her fingers in front of Katie�s face �Alright, McKinnon. I ain�t carrying yer ass. And neither is anyone else.�
Vin_Da_DM: �On the contrary�� Syne moves over to scoop Katie up, giving pause to see if Katie is actually reacting.
Shadow waves the wing that was on his back in front of Katie.
Luna_Faline looks around at the gathered Warriors, �Let�s get going then, as soon as your able, sir.�
Claron spots Stryder at the back of the pod, �Son, staring a hole in the floor will not change what has happened.�
Valrash walks over to Luna and follows behind her.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder turns his gaze slowly to Claron, a mixture of angry and melancholy playing in his expression.
Katie makes a small sound of dismay, then blinks. �I feel like I�m floating,� she says in a tired voice.
Luna_Faline looks at Valrash and shakes my head, �You must find your own place, do not expect to hang on my tail.�
Valrash looks at Luna, �I don�t hang on to tails, I follow you because you would know where we go.�
Kyra steps back with a wide-eyed gaze, then turns to look at Stryder sadly.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne looks at Katie and he hoists her up into his arms and carries her out of the escape pod, �That�s a new one. Usually it�s �put me down you overgrown blob�.� Syne chuckles a bit trying to reach Katie.
Claron�s heart sinks as she sees the look on Stryder�s face, �You are right, Tabris... our son needs us. He seems to be quite upset��
Shadow walks up behind Valrash and notices something. Tugs on the something that doesn�t look like it goes with his kilt and realizes that it is attached to him.
Katie: �Put me down, you overgrown�what was the rest of it?� Katie raises an eyebrow, but there�s more recognition in her eyes than there�s been a in while.
Luna_Faline gives Eclipse a �help me� look. �Now I know how Katie felt with the blue guy.�
Valrash turns around and punches Shadow right in the jaw making him fly back.
Vin_Da_DM: �Blob...but I like Rogue, your lips bunch up like a Kalian pup when you say it,� Syne smiles lightly at Katie.
Shadow looks at him, �What in the hell was that for.�
Tabris sighs as he watches Stryder, �I know that look�� Turning his gaze to Claron he looks at her directly, �It�s starting to get to him��
Valrash says, �Don�t touch my wings, you tiny whelp, they�re injured.�
Vin_Da_DM: The security officers raise their weapons at Valrash�s punch, but are unsure who to aim at.
Shadow looks in amazement, �You have wings?�
Luna_Faline holds a paw up at the officers, �Don�t,� waving at them to put the weapons down.
Valrash sighs and pulls up his wings while wincing, but then realizing they�re healed. He lets them drop to their full length, about down to his knees, full leather like substance.
Claron looks at Tabris, �No...don�t say that. How are we going to prevent it from consuming him...like it did with you?�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder shimmers from his spot in the pod and reappears in front of Claron and Tabris, an unsettling look in his eyes. �She�s gone...but the hatred burns inside�� His eyes seem to blaze for a moment before he shimmers out of the cargo bay.
Tabris blinks then looks at Claron, �Then we�re going to have to act quickly.�
Katie giggles, �I can walk, oaf. Put me down.�
Valrash puts his wings back up and sighs, �They�re of no use to me most of the time.�
Shadow shrugs.
Vin_Da_DM: The security officers lower their weapons, the deck officer looks at your group as a whole, �It will take us a few moments to dock with the Issik, feel free to grab some rations from the galley. Docking hatch 4 will be the main contact point, I will notify you when we�ve docked.�
Kyra hangs her head and shuffles out of the pod.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne sets Katie down and smiles, �Glad to see you�re feeling better.�
Luna_Faline nods and looks at Eclipse, �Shall we go to the galley then?�
Valrash decides not to follow Luna and walks off looking for a docking hatch 4 to wait there.
Shadow heads off to the galley to get some ale.
Vin_Da_DM: �Might as well,� Eclipse say to Luna with a nod.
Claron�s eyes begin to water up as Stryder vanishes from in front of her and Tabris, �The sooner the better...but what if he continues his disappearing act? What then?�
Tabris: �Then we�ll have the past all over again,� Tabris rests a hand on Claron�s clothing in front of her scar, then gives her a stern look.
Vin_Da_DM: The deck officer motions to the security guards, all but two follow him out of the cargo bay.
Claron lets out a gasp, �We CANNOT let that happen.�
Luna_Faline takes Eclipse�s arm and wanders slowly toward the galley with him, �Do you think Voyager is working for Daegriss?�
Vin_Da_DM: �I can�t say for sure, but I don�t think so,� Eclipse says to Luna as they walk down the hall.
Katie wobbles a bit on her feet, then steadies herself, hanging onto Syne�s arm for a moment. �I�m sorry.�
Luna_Faline rubs my amulet idly, �What do you think he�s looking for?�
Kyra sighs and follows the rest of the Warriors, �I wish there was something I could do,� she whispers helplessly.
Vin_Da_DM: Elsewhere: Mileor looks Cara up and down, shaking his head he turns to Voyager�s body and kicks it over the edge of the cliff behind Cara. �Down to the depths where you belong�� Turning his attention to Cara, �Nothing to say for yourself then?�
Shadow looks at Kyra, �Don�t feel bad, I can�t do much either.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Sorry for what?� Syne raises a brow at Katie.
Tabris nods in agreement, �We�d better go find him��
Katie: �For causing so much trouble,� Katie says meekly.
Vin_Da_DM: �It was an adventure, no need to apologize,� Syne nods and gives Katie a friendly grin, �You look like you could use something to eat.�
Katie: �I AM a bit hungry�� Katie looks around dazedly, rubbing her stomach.
Kyra looks over at Shadow sadly, then stares at the floor.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not sure...Gabe seemed to know though.� Eclipse shakes his head then turns with Luna into the galley. Glancing around he points towards an empty table.
Cara stands watching Mileor, �I haven�t heard any questions that require me to give any good answers, yet.�
Shadow walks closer to Kyra, �Look, you seem like a nice lass, but even the most warlike of us can�t be that helpful.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Well then let�s go find some food,� Syne says motioning towards the exit into the hall, �I think the others went that way, too.�
Luna_Faline nods and takes a seat at the table, �And Cara, I am very unsettled by her actions. Just when I think she�s come to terms with being with us, she totally flips out.�
Claron: �Yes, we should,� as they near Kyra. �Maybe Kyra could help us locate him?�
Kyra: ~Just remember I�m here if you need to talk.~ Kyra draws in a hitching breath, her eyes welling up. �Yeah, well. I�m not much help at anything, it seems,� she says to Shadow.
Valrash notices that no one followed him. He sits down and prays to his mother.
Vin_Da_DM: �So the sorceress dies and you and your brother crusade for vengeance.� Mileor lets out a raspy chuckle and he points across the rocky landscape towards a distant structure, �Move.�
Shadow smirks, �Well, its better than being a gnat.� He tries to cheer her up.
Cara grits her teeth as she moves toward the structure in the distance.
Katie nods, �Sounds like heaven,� and clasps her hands behind her back, following. Vin_Da_DM: ~ Talk...talking didn�t work. She turned, had we not won, she would have destroyed them.~ Stryder says mentally, a harsh bite accompanies his mentalization.
Clarice wanders away from the others searching for Tewyn as she does and dreading having to tell him about Cara.
Luna_Faline watches Eclipse move thru the galley, �You don�t think she�s that much like her father do you?�
Vin_Da_DM: �And what has your crusade accomplished? Kabal dead, you tainted by the Warriors and siding with traitors.� Mileor hisses as he walks behind Cara, though his weapon is holstered Cara feels as though one is pressed against her.
Kyra: ~You can not make someone act as they should, Stryder. Her choices are not your fault. And we DID win. And she DIDN�T harm us�other than the fact that I think Katie slipped a little further into her own nightmares. But I�m not trying to pester you. *sigh* I just meant that I�ll listen if you feel the need to verbalize what�s eating you alive. That�s what friends do, right?~
Vin_Da_DM: ~No...you�re innocent, the taint of my soul is not for you to know...~ Stryder sounds a little sad.
Cara hears Mileor�s words and finds herself growing angry, but resists the temptation to acknowledge anything Mileor has said to her.
Vin_Da_DM: �I agree...her actions are troubling.� Eclipse sighs heavily, �I fear she may give insight to the enemy, we exposed our weaknesses to her.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Now then, let�s sit you down.� Syne pulls a chair out for Katie, �Anything in particular you want? Or should I just go with the colors that humans usually eat?�
Luna_Faline shivers, �I didn�t think of that. Just like Tewyn tricked the enemy into trusting him.�
K^K: ~Innocent? That may be the first time anyone�s called me that since I was three.~ There is a faint note of humor in her tone ~But your �taint� is part of who you are. Don�t shut me out. Unless I�m being too forward in asking to know you. If so, you have every right to tell me to mind my own business. But I�m warning you now�I�m terribly stubborn when it comes to getting what I want.~ Kyra�s tone holds a trace of uncertainty, despite her brave words.
Luna_Faline growls, �Although at times, I still wonder where his loyalties lie.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I hope it does not come to it, but we have to face that fact that we may have to kill her,� Eclipse looks at Luna, his spines folding to the sides helping indicate his expression is serious.
Katie smiles gratefully, �I think I�d like some pancakes. Or the closest thing they�ve got to it.�
Luna_Faline nods at Eclipse, �I have no problem with that, if I have a weapon to do it with.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder appears directly in front of Kyra and looks at her, �Do you truly want to know?�
Shadow jumps, �COR BLIMEY.�
Kyra swallows then nods, �You are my friend, Stryder. What has shaped you is important to me.�
Shadow heads off to the galley, obviously not needing to know and gets himself a very strong ale.
Vin_Da_DM: �So, not wanting to talk about that,� Mileor chuckles a bit, still raspy, �Then how about a topic fresh in your mind. How is my boy Valrash? Still clinging to the lofty ideals of his mother?�
Claron gasps as she sees Stryder appear in front of Kyra. �Tab, maybe Kyra can help us with Stryder�maybe she feels about our son, like I have always felt about you��
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder reaches out and touches Kyra lightly on the cheek, �I know�� Drawing his hand away his expression turns dark, his eyes trailing away from her, �I do not wish to hurt you�� Turning to the side he shimmers away again.
Cara jerks her head over her shoulder to look at Mileor, �You...Valrash is your son?�
Kyra�s tears spill down her cheeks. �You can�t run from this forever�whatever it is�I�m right here with you, like it or not.�
Tabris watches Stryder disappear then looks at Claron, �Maybe.�
Cara chuckles, �So�you are Valrash�s sperm donor.�
Kyra hangs her head again, and begins to walk, blinded by the tears coursing down her face.
Vin_Da_DM: Mileor ignores Cara�s comment and continues, �The boy is impudent and weak...if he is with the Warriors then I shall look forward to ending him in the battle to come.�
Luna_Faline takes the sai out of my pocket with a purrsigh, �Maybe it�s time to acquire something more, I don�t know, substantial?�
Claron moves towards Kyra and envelops Kyra in her arms as she sees the tears spilling down Kyra�s cheeks. �You are just what he needs�� she whispers softly in Kyra�s ear.
Valrash looks around him to see if there are any guards around.
Katie leans back in her seat staring up at the ceiling.
Vin_Da_DM: �You do seem to destroy your weapon as well as our enemies,� Eclipse manages a short smile, �Something indestructible couldn�t hurt.�
Cara shrugs her shoulders, �Things are not always like how they appear.�
Vin_Da_DM: Valrash notices maintenance officers repairing damaged consoles and bulkheads down the corridor from him.
Kyra shakes her head, dashing the tears away with an angry hand, �I doubt it. He doesn�t want me. I think�I�m sure his heart lies elsewhere.�
Luna_Faline nods, �Most of our enemies anyway,� smiles at Eclipse, �I believe I would need lessons to use anything else.�
Valrash starts praying in a very weird manner.
Vin_Da_DM: �I know a few melee arts, perhaps some training is in order,� Eclipse says to Luna glancing at her broken sai.
Kyra scurries away, trying to find a corner where she can be alone with her thoughts.
Claron stands back beside Tabris as Kyra scurries away from her, �No, what I...we...just witnessed, its pretty obvious that his heart lies with you.�
Tabris watches Kyra scurry away then shakes his head, �I�ve seen the way he looks at her, Claron. I remember a certain young man had the same look about a gorgeous officer he served with.�
Vin_Da_DM: Mileor chuckles, �Stupid boy...he thinks I will answer his prayers and give him guidance.� Eying the structure growing closer in the distance he snickers to Cara, �Not long now��
Kyra: �You don�t wish to hurt me�� Kyra whispers furiously, �Well, yer doin a great fuckin� job, so far��
Claron continues, �... and because he does...he is afraid he will do to you what his father tried to do to me and what his grandfather did do to his own wife and Tabris� brother.
Valrash gets a look of defiance in his eyes.
Kyra stops and turns, �What? What do you mean?� her eyes search Claron�s face.
Luna_Faline runs my fingers over the blood stone set into the hilt, �This was one of her favorites.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne sets a plate down in front of Katie and cringes a bit, �I hope that�s what you wanted. And the round thing is good when it�s aqua like that...or at least the cook says so.�
Claron smiles at Tabris, �You see it too, then.�
Katie: �Blue pancakes. Who knew?� Katie gingerly cuts into it and takes a bite.
Valrash then turns and finishes praying to his mother... and then when he finishes he starts crying very loudly.
Valrash falls over.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne watches at Katie takes a bit, �Is it good?�
Vin_Da_DM: Katie�s pancakes taste similar to blueberries, but slightly sweeter.
Kyra: �What did his grandfather do? What did he *points at Tab* do? What has him so afraid?� Kyra sniffles loudly, and steps back toward Tabris and Claron hesitantly.
Katie chews, moaning a little. �I was right. Heaven.�
Valrash gets up and continues crying, runs off trying to find a place to be alone.
Shadow looks up from his ale as he hears Valrash and gives a questioning look, but just keeps drinking.
Tabris looks at Claron and Kyra, �It�s a long story, but to put it plainly. My father went insane and killed my mother and brother. I suffered the same and tried to kill Claron in a blinding rage��
Kyra pales a little, and places her hand to her mouth. �Oh Goddess. And he�s afraid he�s going to do the same to someone, one day��
Vin_Da_DM: The ship�s com crackles a bit then comes online, �Warriors, please report to docking hatch 4.�
Valrash stops and tries to compose himself.
Shadow stands up and heads over to the docking hatch.
Kyra cocks her head to the side as a thought occurs to her. �Could that also have something to do with why Katie went from being close friends with you, to looking at you like you are evil incarnate?�
Tabris: �What?� Tabris raises a brow at Kyra.
Kyra: �Nothing. Nevermind." She turns, �Where the hell is docking hatch 4?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse sighs and looks at Luna, �Guess that�s our cue.�
Katie whimpers, �My pancakesssssss��
Luna_Faline�s ears twitch hearing the announcement. Slips the sai back into my pocket as I stand, �Shall we then?�
Valrash starts heading back to the hatch.
Claron looks at Tabris then back at Kyra.
Vin_Da_DM: �Better eat �em quick,� Syne smirks at Katie.
Katie wolfs down her pancakes, wipes her mouth and gets to her feet. �Lousy damn timing. I'm gonna have indigestion.�
Shadow sighs out load as he leaves the galley, �This wing is starting to get heavy...I�m gunna have to do something with it soon.�
Tabris looks at Kyra puzzled then shrugs, �Never hurts to ask...or follow the signs.� Tabris points to a metallic plate on the wall with arrows and destinations.
Vin_Da_DM: �Doesn�t sound fun...whatever it is,� Syne says to Katie then heads out of the galley with her.
Claron nods her head, �Yes. I believe that is why she is acting the way she has been where Tabris is concerned. I am afraid during that dark time he hurt Katie very badly.�
Katie: �It�s not.� Katie sighs and shuffles along, looking at the signs for their destination.
Claron squeezes Tabris� hand, �Sorry, my love...but I do think I wasn�t the only one you hurt back then.�
Kyra nods, looking at Tab oddly. �Well now, that�s something that will take more than just a few words to heal.�
Vin_Da_DM: As your group starts to gather at the docking hatch the Ruinhammer rumbles softly as it docks along the Issik. Outside the viewports on that side of the ship the Issik shifting golden hull dominates the view.
Shadow gets flung into a wall as the wing on his back starts moving.
Tabris looks at Claron still confused, �I don�t remember Katie...but Chan.� Tabris lowers his gaze.
Kyra: �Perhaps I�ll have to find a quiet moment and ask her. Since no one else has.� Kyra muses.
Shadow looks back and sneers at the wing.
Shadow watches the wing lift one feather up about halfway on it.
Shadow just stares.
Luna_Faline steps into the hall following Katie and Syne, �I need a shower and I think we all need a rest before the next battle,� purrs to Eclipse.
Katie fingers her bracelet absently. �Where are they sending us now?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Rest would do everyone some good, I agree.� Eclipse replies, raising a brow as he looks past Katie and Syne at Shadow.
Claron smiles weakly, �You didn�t remember hurting me either, my love.. at least not until after Uncle brought you back and you saw evidence of it on me.�
Shadow says, �I think there was something weird in that drink.�
Luna_Faline follows Eclipse�s gaze to see Shadow having difficulty with the wing, �I think it might be time to dispose of his remains.�
Vin_Da_DM: Docking hatch 4 hisses some pressure, then folds away into the bulkheads. The bioluminated golden docking area and corridors of the Issik stretch out ahead.
Katie looks at the wing, her face clouding over.
Tabris: �I know�� Tabris shakes it off then looks ahead, �So we�re getting a tour of another ship?�
Shadow stands up again and gets knocked back into the wall, �What in the cold hell does it want?�
Claron: �Are we?�
Katie steps forward and reaches out to stroke the wing gently.
Claron then looks back at Kyra. �Tab and I have been discussing that we should confront her ourselves...haven�t we, dear?�
Shadow starts shaking as the wing does as well.
Tabris: �Yes, if she�s willing,� Tabris says with a half-sigh.
Claron: �Willing or not...it needs to be done...the sooner the better as far as I am concerned.�
Luna_Faline enters the docking area and pauses, �Can you beam over any other crew members we might leave behind?�
Luna_Faline speaks to an officer.
Vin_Da_DM: An Aeris in a complete set of golden armor walks towards the docking hatch from the Issik, she eyes the officer and answers Luna's question. �Any other members of your party will be escorted over, yes. If you could follow me, please.�
Kyra looks at the floor, nibbling her lip.
Luna_Faline nods and follows the Aeris on board glancing at Eclipse briefly.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder shimmers in at the rear of the group, remaining silent.
Valrash and Shadow follow the gold Aeris.
Katie�s eyes fill with unshed tears as she looks at the wing, �Be still, little one,� she whispers.
Vin_Da_DM: �Hopefully they�ll find Tewyn and Shinta for us,� Eclipse says to Luna.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne watches Katie as she whispers to the wing.
Luna_Faline nods, �Wherever the hell they�re hiding, and Clarice seems to have gotten lost hunting for Tewyn.�
Vin_Da_DM: The Aeris heads into the main corridor outside the docking area. The Issik�s hallways are similar to the Ettik�s, but brighter gold in their coloring. Empty sections of hallway dim their biolumination as you pass through them.
Shadow notices that the wing calms down when she talks to it.
Luna_Faline following the Aeris thru the Issik, �Where are we going now?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Admiral Nina wishes to speak with you,� the Aeris says to Luna glancing over her shoulder with her solid white eyes, �About what, I cannot say. But the Admiral does not speak to just any outsiders.�
Luna_Faline looks at Eclipse then back at the Aeris, �I see, thank you.�
Claron whispers to Tabris, �Must be because the Warriors are not just anyone,� a hint of sarcasm comes through her words.
Vin_Da_DM: After what seems like miles of corridor the Aeris stops in front of a rather non-descript set of double doors. Standing to the side she presses a button on the console, �The Warriors are here to see you, Admiral.�
Vin_Da_DM: The Aeris nods then looks at your group and bows, �The Admiral will see you now.�
Katie keeps stealing glances at the wing.
Luna_Faline waits outside the doors, running fingers thru her mane.
Valrash asks someone near him, �Its ok for people to have there wings out?� as he notices the Aeris.
Luna_Faline looks back at Valrash, �Of course,� then pushes open the doors and steps thru.
Vin_Da_DM: The doors open giving view a circular briefing room. In the center is a circular device with something bright and glowing hovering about it, a tall Aeris with light pink armor and black wings turns to look at you. About 12 armored Aeris are in the room as well.
Claron gives Tabris� hand a quick squeeze as they move through the open doors.
Kyra wrings her hands, an occasional tear making it�s way down her cheeks.
Valrash pulls his wings out and lets them hang out testingly, then walks into the room.
Luna_Faline moves forward and faces the lady in pink, �Admiral, you wanted to see us?�
Shadow just walks into the room keeping quiet.
Katie files in, looking around.
Vin_Da_DM: �Indeed,� Nina nods to Luna then looks back the object hovering about the round device in front of her. The glowing object catches Luna�s eye and a soft melody that is vaguely familiar sings from it.
Luna_Faline steps closer to the object in the center of the room, tilts my head listening.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at Luna with some confusion, �Luna?�
Vin_Da_DM: �It was brought to my attention that you may have some insight into this artifact,� Nina looks around at the group moving aside to allow everyone to get a look at it.
Valrash just says, �Nope.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Looks like a flying light bulb to me,� Syne says giving the artifact a quick glance.
Shadow looks at it.
Katie smiles, �Your gift of sight does you proud, Rogue.� She elbows him.
Luna_Faline looks at Eclipse glassy eyed, �It sounds familiar,� looks back to it.
Vin_Da_DM: �Sounds? I don�t hear anything,� Eclipse looks at the artifact then back to Luna.
Claron just shakes her head.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder glances at it for a moment then walks over and takes a seat on the large curved bench nearby.
Kyra walks over near the couch, but doesn�t sit.
Tabris: �Can�t say that I�ve seen this particular glowing thing before...seen other ones, but not this one.� Tabris shrugs.
Luna_Faline moves around it slowly.
Vin_Da_DM: As it is floating around, Luna notices the artifact lose it�s glow and takes the shape of an ornate crescent moon momentarily, then turns back into a glowing light.
Katie fingers her bracelet thoughtfully, looking at the artifact.
Vin_Da_DM: �It�s divine, I can sense that much about it,� Eclipse says studying it.
Luna_Faline takes a slow breath, �How did you get this?�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks over at Kyra watching her quietly.
Kyra wipes her face discreetly, still staring at the floor, but more tears replace those wiped away.
Vin_Da_DM: �The Republic has had it for generations, but only recently has it become active like this,� Nina says giving an interesting glance at Luna.
Vin_Da_DM: An Aeris guard motions to get Nina�s attention, �The rest of the Warriors have been escorted here, sir, and are waiting outside.�
Claron: �Well...what is it ?� looks at Luna, then back at the artifact.
Luna_Faline steps back from it slowly, �That�s what he wanted,� I whispurr softly.
Tabris: �You mean the artifact Voyager was asking about?� Tabris raises a brow at Luna.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m not surprised this it is...it is radiating quite a bit of power,� Eclipse comments.
Vin_Da_DM: Nina nods, �Let them in.� As she speaks the door opens allowing Clarice and company to enter.
Katie: �Sunuvabitch. Go figure,� Katie murmurs.
Clarice nods to the other Warriors as she enters.
Katie looks over at the late arrivals, and gives Shinta a smile.
Vin_Da_DM: ~Don�t...I don�t mean to cause you sadness.~ Stryder frowns slightly at Kyra but doesn�t move from his spot.
Luna_Faline turns and focuses on Eclipse, �I�m not sure, but I think it�s a way home.�
Vin_Da_DM: �You look as if you�ve seen this before,� Eclipse moves around the device looking at the artifact.
Kyra: ~Tis nothing. �'m just tired, I guess.~ Kyra turns her head and looks at Stryder, the overwhelming emotion in her eyes belies her casual words.
Vin_Da_DM: �Way home, eh? What do we have to do? Find a socket and screw it in?� Syne chuckles a bit to himself.
Katie: �One track mind.� Katie says low, laughter in her tone.
Claron hears Luna, �Home? Home as in Aventine? Or home as in the place we were taken from?� asks in a barely audible whisper.
Vin_Da_DM: ~ You�re not a very good liar.~ Stryder studies Kyra�s expression.
Luna_Faline shakes her head, �Aventine, or maybe some other location on that realm.�
Kyra rolls her eyes, ~My emotional turmoil is NOT the point.~
Vin_Da_DM: �Interesting, and how does it work?� Nina questions Luna crosses her arms.
^Shinta returns Katie�s smile.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder stands and moves over to Kyra, seeming calmer than before. Lifting her head with a hand under her chin Stryder smiles lightly, ~Crying ruins the shine in your eyes.~
Luna_Faline growls in frustration, �I don�t remember,� begins circling the object again listening to the melody only I can hear.
Kyra gets lost in looking at him, her heart stuttering in her chest. ~Smiling brings out the twinkle in yours.~
Vin_Da_DM: Luna notes that when the object turns into the moon shape the melody gets louder and clearer.
Claron nudges Tabris gently as she sees the interaction between Kyra and Stryder.
Katie motions Shinta to come stand with her.
Tabris turns his attention away from the artifact by Claron�s nudge. Looking at Claron he gives her the �what� look, then follows her gaze.
^Shinta goes over toward Katie, looking at the object along the way.
Clarice moves closer to Tewyn slipping her arm gently around his waist.
Katie: �What do you think?� Katie whispers when Shinta�s in earshot.
Valrash holds his wings out to his side, he flutters them for something to do.
^Shinta shrugs, �It�s like nothing I�ve ever seen, so I am at a loss.�
Vin_Da_DM: One of the guards looks at Valrash as he flutters his wings.
Luna_Faline purrs softly with the melody, �Key.�
Valrash quickly puts his wings back, tucking them back in and sort of walking away from the guard that looked at him.
Luna_Faline lifts a paw to reach for it, then stops.
Vin_Da_DM: As Luna purrs the word key the artifact responds by changing the melody slightly and changing colors to a dull rouge.
Kyra�s eyes shine brightly, ~No matter what, I�m here for you. I�ll face whatever I have to. Your friendship is worth it to me.~
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse watches it change colors, �You did something, Luna.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Fascinating,� Nina says as it changes colors, �It seems to be reacting to you.�
Luna_Faline looks at Eclipse then Nina, �I�m a part of the Goddess Selenia.�
Valrash walks over to Shadow, �I think I did something wrong, that guard is watching me,� he whispers.
Shadow chuckles but says nothing.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder nods to Kyra then gives her a short hug, stepping back he turns his attention the artifact, ~Something�s happening...~
Kyra: Turning to look at the artifact as well, Kyra tilts her head. ~Now THAT�S interesting.~
Clarice: �She must have the right touch...or words�� whispers softly.
Vin_Da_DM: �That might explain it. Try doing something else, Luna,� Eclipse says continuing to watch it.
Luna_Faline looks back at the key and purrs, �Aventine.�
Katie laces her fingers through Shinta�s. �It's incredible,� she breathes.
Vin_Da_DM: �So it�s not a light bulb...what exactly does it do then, besides changing color?� Syne rests his hands on his sides.
Valrash watches the dwarf�s reaction and frowns, �What�s so funny?�
Shadow just chuckles louder.
^Shinta: �I think that is putting it mildly,� holding her hand softly.
Vin_Da_DM: The key shifts colors again and the melody grows stronger. Luna begins feeling the urge to reach out and touch it.
Luna_Faline smiles and reaches thru the glow to grasp the moon shaped key, �Aventine.�
Vin_Da_DM: The silver ornate half moon key takes shape and rests in Luna�s paw glowing. The melody becomes peaceful and Luna sees faint images in her mind of Aventine and the surrounding lands.
Vin_Da_DM: �Interesting,� Eclipse says looking at the silver key in her paw.
Claron: �Maybe its like a crystal ball.�
Luna_Faline looks down at the key in my paw, feeling the peace flow thru me, �Now if I only knew what to do with it,� sighing.
^Shinta: �So what is it we are doing here?�
�Watching the light show?� Katie shrugs, �I think this is the artifact that nearly got us all killed.�
^Shinta: �Killed? Guess I meditated a bit too long.�
Clarice stands with arm still wrapped around Tewyn�s waist, her heart burdened by the fact he hasn�t said a word since hearing the news about Cara.
Vin_Da_DM: ~Think of yourself as the door, Avatar, and I shall take you home.~ Luna hears a soft voice like an echo of Selenia�s coming from the key.
Luna_Faline looks around the room at each of the Warriors and the others, finally looking at Eclipse. I nod then close my eyes and concentrate on my memories of home and everyone there with me.
Katie: �Well, when your mind is full, meditation can bring peace,� Katie says, looking at him for a moment, �Or so I�d think.�
^Shinta: �Yea, guess it can. Maybe you should try it sometime.�
Katie: �Mayhap I should.� Katie smiles and squeezes his hand.
Vin_Da_DM: The glow from the key spreads across Luna and radiates from her like an aura. It spreads out and touches each of the Warriors, then the others Luna looked at. The peaceful melody can be heard by all touched by the aura.
Vin_Da_DM: The Issik and briefing room seem to fade away around in a dreamy haze, a grassy landscape begins to replace it. Once the haze fades around you, everyone finds themselves standing on the grassy bank of a large lake, a beautiful temple to the goddess rests half-submerged in the sapphire-blue water.
Shadow gets flung back again and gets the wind knocked out of him.
^Shinta squeezes her hand back, �Maybe help some of those things your fighting right now.�
Kyra: �Breathtaking,� Kyra says, not taking her eyes seeking out Stryder�s.
Claron: �Oh my��
Vin_Da_DM: Blinking Syne looks around, �...now that�s new.�
Valrash looks around and seems to look disturbed.
Luna_Faline opens her eyes and purrsighs, �We�re home,� smiling at Eclipse.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks around and studies the landscape, �This isn�t Aventine�� Eclipse pauses trying to remember, �One of the southern provinces, I think.�
Katie: �Oh�it�s gorgeous.� Katie sighs dreamily.
^Shinta looks over the lake then to Katie, �Been a long time since we have seen a place like this.�
Luna_Faline moves to the waters edge and looks at the temple closing my paw around the key.
Tabris looks around then at Claron, �Finally going somewhere without having to jump into a vortex or step into the light.�
Katie: �A very long time, indeed. Makes me itch to walk in the moonlight." Katie closes her eyes for a moment.
Clarice glances at Tewyn after seeing the temple and beautiful sapphire-blue water, �It looks so inviting�� whispers softly.
^Shinta smiles, �I�d rather finish that dance under the moonlight.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder gazes out at the half sunken temple, �It�s quite a view��
Kyra: �MmmHmm.� Kyra whispers, but she�s not looking at the lake.
Claron chuckles, �I think I could get used to this��
Luna_Faline stands with the water lapping around my feet, �I haven�t been here in ages.�
Shadow gets up and looks at the wing, then sighs.
Vin_Da_DM: From the color of the sky overhead you cannot tell if it is night or day as it is bright but not overly so. Further along the lake�s edge from where everyone is, is a small village of white marble houses.
Kyra pulls off her boots and wades into the water. �Oh Goddess, that feels soooooooo good�.�
Katie smiles. �Yes. You do still owe me a dance.�
Vin_Da_DM: �For once it�s a place I�ve never been,� Eclipse says moving into the water next to Luna, �We never got this far south the last time��
^Shinta: �Yes, I do,� running his fingers over her bracelet, �And a few more memories to add to this.�
Luna_Faline takes Eclipse�s hand, �I hope they don�t make it this far south, ever.�
Katie: �That, too.� Katie smiles.
Vin_Da_DM: �Truth be told, it wasn�t supposed to be of strategic value, artisans and farmers they said,� Eclipse says his gaze settling on the small village not far away.
Kyra lays down in the grass, leaving her feet in the water, �Oh, this place makes my heart ache,: she says, her eyes closed.
Luna_Faline looks past the temple to the village, �Artisans can make lots of things, and farmers feed the armies.�
^Shinta: �So, Emerald Eyes, seems your a bit happier today, very glad to see�I�ve missed that smile.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder sits on the grass next to Kyra and watches the surface of the water and it�s reflections.
Katie leans in and puts her arms around Shinta for a moment, then draws back. �I feel lighter, somehow.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne stretches then looks towards the village, �Hmm...wonder what there is to offer over there.� Talking to himself he begins to walk in that direction.
Valrash seems to wander away from the group.
Shadow gets up and heads towards the town as well.
^Shinta: �Did you find a way to dismiss that burden you�ve been carrying around? You seemed troubled before.�
Tabris wraps his arms around Claron looking out over the lake, �Nice to get away from it all occasionally, eh?�
Luna_Faline tucks the key into my pocket with the sai, �Maybe we should go to the village?� purrs to Eclipse.
Katie frowns, �It�s quiet right now.�
Claron smiles as she watches Stryder sit next to Kyra, �She will be good for him,� whispers to Tabris.
Vin_Da_DM: �I suppose. If anything there should be lodging available.� Eclipse says to Luna.
^Shinta pulls Katie back to him and kisses her softly. �There shall be no frowning in such a beautiful place.�
Claron shakes her head, �Yes it is... just wish it would last longer sometimes.�
Kyra wraps her arms around herself, her eyes still closed. �I wish every place could be this beautiful.� She opens her eyes and gazes over at Stryder, chewing her lip.
Luna_Faline steps out of the lake and turns toward the village, �Lodging, and some food.�
Vin_Da_DM: A school of rainbow colored fish with several foot long streamers glide through the water a few yards out in the lake.
Vin_Da_DM: From the look of the village it is closer to nighttime, smoke from evening fires and light shining in the windows of the buildings.
Katie leans into him again, �Bossy.�
Clarice watches the rainbow colored fish glide through the water.
Valrash gets a fair distance from the group and looks for a rock big enough to put both feet on.
Vin_Da_DM: �It�s peaceful here�� Stryder draws his knees in and rests his chin on them, �I like it.�
Kyra: �Me too.� Kyra traces lazy circles on her tummy with a fingertip, sighing.
^Shinta: �Not bossy, but such a beautiful face should never wear sorrow.�
Vin_Da_DM: Valrash finds a ring of marble boulders near the edge of the grassy plains where sweeping navy blue trees reach out to the sky with gracefully curved branches.
Luna_Faline looks over the village then points toward the building with the most lights showing, �I think that one was the inn.�
Katie: �Bossy.� Katie states, kissing the tip of his nose. �But I�ll accept it, for now. Cuz you say the prettiest things to me.�
Valrash stands on one of the stones and bursts into flames.
Vin_Da_DM: As Clarice watches the fish they all jump out of the water as one, their streamers flowing softly as they follow their owners back into the blue depths.
^Shinta�s smile widens and starts to hum a bit, �So, Emerald Eyes, seems the stars might be making a appearance, shall we finish that dance right here, and give them something to shine for?�
Katie�s eyes glow happily, �We have an audience,� she says shyly.
Vin_Da_DM: �As good a place as any to start,� Eclipse nods then watches Luna as she points.
^Shinta: �Well, they disturbed us last time, so now they will just have to wait for us to finish that which we started.�
Clarice manages a small smile as the fish jump out of the water, her heart still heavily burden by the event with Cara and how disappointed Tewyn must be.
^Shinta twirls Katie around gently, pulling her back in close. �So now, where were we?�
Vin_Da_DM: Something resembling a four antlered deer watches Valrash with curiosity from the safety of the trees.
Luna_Faline starts towards the inn.
Valrash keeps burning as bright as he can until he becomes so exhausted he falls to his knees, and then tries to get up and do more, pushing himself harder to improve.
Shadow keeps heading towards the village.
Kyra sits up and tears her gaze away from Stryder�s face, looking out over the lake, keeping her thoughts to herself so she won�t disturb his solitude.
Vin_Da_DM: The sounds of merriment play from the larger building that Luna pointed out. Syne finds a spot near one of the outdoor cooking fires after being greeted cheeringly by the locals, who are a mixture of races.
Katie throws her head back and laughs, the sound echoing across the lake as she makes a pretty curtsy, then steps back into Shinta�s arms. �Hmm�I dunno. But I think we were close together like�this.� She steps closer to him, her eyes dancing with pleasure.
Valrash then heads to town after exhausting himself.
^Shinta: �Ah yes, now I remember,� swaying with her softly, �And I think we were doing something like this.�
Luna_Faline smiles and nods at Syne as I pass him on my way to the inn, �Sounds like a party is going on.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder quietly and quite suddenly leans over and kisses Kyra gently on the cheek. �Thank you��
Katie: �I do believe you are right, Shaman.� Katie murmurs, her body swaying with his
Kyra jumps, her cheeks burning. She blinks a few times. �Wh�.� She swallows and tries again, �What . . . what was that for?�
^Shinta: �Hmm, but something isn�t quite right,� pulling her chin up slightly, �There now, we got it...Its not a dance if I can�t get lost in the brilliance of those emeralds you have.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse pushes the thick cloth curtain covering the inn�s entrance aside, �I�d say so.� Inside a tall minotaur is strolling around the inn's main floor playing a violin. The patrons are talking, laughing, and drinking.
Katie gasps softly. �You sure you weren�t a poet before you found us?� her smile lights up the night.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks out over the lake with a soft smile, �For being you.�
Luna_Faline steps thru the entrance and looks around, �Let�s try over there,� pointing to an unoccupied table.
^Shinta: �I�ve been many things, and seen twice as much upon my travels, there was just never a reason until now for the words to be spoken of the beauty my eyes have had the joy to see.�
Shadow heads over to the pub and sits in the corner not drinking, but watching everyone.
Kyra gets lost in his gaze again, and her heart starts to race. She takes her lower lip between her teeth and stares, then, realizing she�s being rude, she looks away, down at her lap. �First time I�ve ever been thanked for that,� She says softly, a lump in her throat.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse nods and heads over to the empty table with Luna. Almost as soon as they reach the table a female satyr with hair almost to her hooves approaches, digging around her apron pockets to produce some silverware. "Good to see travelers, anything I can get ye?"
Katie reaches up and runs the back of her finger along Shinta�s jaw. �If I�m beautiful, it is only because you make me feel like I am��
Luna_Faline takes off my jacket as the satyr speaks, �I�ll take whatever the special is tonight, and a cold glass of cream?�
Vin_Da_DM: The violin playing minotaur passes Shadow�s table giving him a short head nod of greeting before moving to the next table.
^Shinta takes her hand and places it over his chest letting her feel his heart beat� �No, my dear, it�s the feeling you place inside me here that makes you beautiful.�
Shadow nods back watching the others in the room.
Katie�s eyes overflow and she stands on tiptoe to brush a soft kiss across Shinta�s lips. �Hush now, or I�ll begin to think you really like me,� she murmurs against his mouth.
Valrash wanders into the bar and sees Shadow and walks over to him, �We really need to stop meeting like this. One of these times, I might catch you drunk.�
Vin_Da_DM: ��'ll have the special as well, along with a mug of the house brew,� Eclipse says to the satyr, who with a friendly smile plods off to fill the order.
^Shinta: �As you wish, Bossy,� giving her a sly smile.
Kyra presses a hand to her cheek wonderingly, a smile hovering, but not quite escaping her lips.
Shadow chuckles, �Only if we got a few days will you ever see me drunk, lad. Take a seat and watch some people with me.�
Luna_Faline pulls out a chair and lays the jacket across the back before sitting down, �This is nice,� I purr to Eclipse.
Valrash nods and sits down.
Katie growls and nips at his lower lip, �Throwing my words back at me�naughty, naughty.� She smiles and kisses him again.
Vin_Da_DM: �Lively and pleasant,� Eclipse smiles and taps his claws against the table in tune with the music.
^Shinta: �A shaman being naughty, hmm, is that possible?� Pointing up to the stars, �They are twinkling with their applause, seems they approved of our dance, shall we give a encore?�
Katie: �As you wish, dearling.� Katie sways in his arms, her eyes glowing softly.
Kyra closes her eyes and sighs.
Luna_Faline leans into Eclipse�s side and rests a paw on his thigh as I watch the dancers.
^Shinta sways along with Katie, still humming softly.
Kyra: A frown tugs at Kyra�s lips, as a disturbing thought occurs to her. She gets up and starts walking around the lake, chewing on her lip till it�s raw.
Vin_Da_DM: The satyr swings by the table depositing two bowls of what looks like a salad with steaming pieces of a pale green meat in it. She also sets down a crystal glass of cream by Luna and a mug of foamy brown for Eclipse, �Enjoy!�
Claron turns and smiles at Tabris, �The water looks so inviting,� as she leads him away from the others towards a secluded spot near the water. With a gleam in her eyes, she removes her black hooded dress and races towards the water. �Catch me if you can,� then dives in the water.
Luna_Faline smiles up at the waitress, �Thank you, Miss, and by the way, are there any rooms available tonight?� as I pick up a fork.
Tabris sheds his clothes quickly then dives in after Claron.
Vin_Da_DM: �Just the two of you?� The satyr says giving Luna and Eclipse that �cute couple� look.
Luna_Faline raises a brow, �In our room? Yes,� glances across the room to where Valrash and Shadow are sitting, �There are others in our party who may need rooms as well.�
Kyra: �I know it�s wrong, Kyn. You don�t have to rub it in.� Kyra sighs, her eyes pooling. �Yes, I�m aware that he�s got it bad for her,� she snaps. �How the hell should I know? He was probably just being nice because I was kind to him.� She stoops down and picks up a rock, �Of course I liked it. Are you stupid?� she throws the rock into the lake frustratedly.
Claron treads water, watching and anticipating where Tabris will resurface.
Katie closes her eyes dreamily, �Who�d have known a shaman had moves like this?� She takes a deep breath.
^Shinta: �Is what we do when one is bored, make beads and learn to dance.�
Kyra traces a finger over the spot on her cheek, �Yeah. I'm gonna dream about this one for a long time.�
Katie�s throaty chuckle vibrates between them. �So you danced with a lot of guys. Should I be feeling inferior right now?� she teases him.
Clarice leans in closer to Tewyn, �Your silence is killing me��
^Shinta: �Guys, no...just watched a few inhabitants of the places I�ve been.�
Vin_Da_DM: �You�re in luck, got no-one stayin� so you�re welcome to use whichever rooms you want. Washrooms are at either end of the second story, wash linens are in the rooms.� The satyr smiles at Luna and Eclipse, �Enjoy your stay!�
Luna_Faline nods, �Thanks,� then takes a bite of the green meat and smiles, �Mmmmm, just like I remembered.�
Katie shakes her head, �Ah, you are so adorable sometimes. I was joking, Shinta.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse thanks the waitress as well then after seeing Luna take a bite he begins eating as well.
^Shinta smirks, �Besides the monks had nothing on the way you fill out a dress,� covers his mouth, embarrassed at his words just blurting out.
Katie doubles over and holds her sides, her mirth spilling over. �I should hope not. If a monk beat me in a dress, I�d have to lock myself away,� she gasps in between giggles.
Luna_Faline looks down at the suddenly empty plate and giggles, �I didn�t realize how hungry I was,� picking up the glass to finish the cream.
Tabris swims up behind Claron and wraps his arms around her, �Caught me a real beauty this time!�
^Shinta blushes, �I--I, that�s not what I meant.��throwing his hands in the air and kisses her to ease his embarrassment.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse chuckles in between bites of food, �Very hungry, you barely left a crumb.�
Katie presses herself close, �I know what you meant.� She nibbles kisses along the corner of his mouth. �And I think you need your vision checked.�
^Shinta: shakes his head "Nope, all the eyes are in agreement"
Vin_Da_DM: Syne lets out a hearty belly laugh as his opponent slumps against the dirt, hoisting the mug he cheers. �Next!�
Shadow gets up and walks to Syne�s table.
Luna_Faline blushes, �That wasn�t very lady like was it?�
Claron laughs heartily as she rotates herself in Tabris� arms to face him.
Kyra flops down on a rock by the edge of the lake, �What am I gonna do, Kyn? I can�t keep acting like a ninny around him. I�ve GOT to get a handle on this.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Good to see a healthy appetite,� Eclipse smirks at Luna.
Luna_Faline grins at him, �That�s not the only healthy appetite I have,� my gaze sliding towards the staircase.
Tabris: �Should I catch and release? Or keep you all for myself?� Tabris kisses Claron in between questions.
Clarice shakes her head, �Fine...I give up. When you are ready to talk...you will find me in the village,� moves away from Tewyn and storms quickly towards the village.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse notices the grin and returns it, �Well then, we�ll have to see what we can do about that.�
Claron gasps out in between the kisses, �I...think...keep...to...yourself��
Luna_Faline stands up grabbing my jacket, �Last one to bed is on bottom,� I giggle and take off running to the stairs.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse watches Luna run off with a chuckle.
Clarice wipes away the tears from her eyes as she enters the village inn.
Luna_Faline pauses at the top of the stairs then decides to go clean up first and enters the washroom.
Tewyn: �Till...I�m ready." Turns and starts walking the other way into the darkness and fades, "Till that day comes, none of you shall ever find or see me again.�
Claron returns Tabris� kisses as she wraps her legs around his waist.
Luna_Faline steps out of the washroom and pauses feeling a sudden odd emptiness, entering the closest bedroom I move to a window and look out at the temple and lake.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse appears lounging on Luna�s bed, �Took you long enough,� with a grin he motions her over.
Luna_Faline turns from the window and moves to the bed, �Do you feel it?� as I crawl across the bed.
Valrash talks to the waitress and heads upstairs for a room. Walks up to the closest one and knocks.
Clarice whispers to herself, �Looks like you won Cara, you have managed to destroy your father.�
Luna_Faline jumps at the knock and growls, �GO AWAY!�
Valrash heads to the next door and sits on the bed pulling out the book he has, he rereads it. �I wonder if these �hero�s of the light� will have a book like this one day.�
Shadow stays downstairs to watch the people.
Vin_Da_DM: As the two moons overhead begin their nightly drift through a sea of stars a long day draws to a close. The Warriors, now in the godly realms, begin to enjoy their respite, the worries of tomorrow and thoughts of war far from their minds.
Vin_Da_DM: Meanwhile: Two grizzly demons stare out at Cara from their spot as the center pieces of the massive iron gateway ahead of her. The gateway, flanked at either side by equally grizzly real demons, begins to slowly open as Mileor motions to its guardians.
Vin_Da_DM: With an echoing clang the gateway disappears into the thick stone walls, giving way to the spiked tower hiding behind it. Mileor nudges with a shove to the shoulder, �Consider yourself lucky, or damned�the entire council will be present. Some of them would love nothing more to see you suffer for your betrayal��
Vin_Da_DM: Entering the tower Cara and Mileor head along a blood red carpet to a throne room. As the double doors open Cara notices a large black table with the fiery symbol of the Knights of Purgatory carved into it. Surrounding it are the remaining Knights in their black hooded robes.
Vin_Da_DM: Daegriss rises from his skull-embellished throne as the two enter. A grin plays across both sides of his face, �Cara�my dear, so good to see you�I trust you remember the punishment for sedition and betrayal. Now I would hear what you have to say to prove that you are still of use to me��
