Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: Continuing to enjoy their relaxation time the Warriors respite was interrupted by a military call to arms. A fleet of ships was forming to defend against an invasion force headed by Lady Velarenyssa�s troops.
Vin_Da_DM: Unable to use the Ettik because of its pregnancy the Warriors were transported aboard the warship Ruinhammer, captained by none other than Gabe. Joining the Gul-Qian�s flagship, the Issik, the Ruinhammer entered warp with the rest of the fleet heading for A�dal.
Vin_Da_DM: *Time passed: A few minutes*
Vin_Da_DM: We rejoin the Warriors onboard the Ruinhammer as it continues through hyperspace with the rest of the fleet. The ship�s crew continues their daily routines, calm despite the battle looming on the horizon. For the moment, the group is free to explore Gabe�s ship.
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
Vin_Da_DM: �Was it something I said?� Stryder calls out to Kyra having watched her leave.
Valrash walks around the ship exploring while praying silently to himself.
Shadow_Watcher wanders around the ship as well tailing Valrash.
Tabris pauses in a hallway looking out a window at hyperspace�s rainbow colors as they fly by.
Valrash: �You know you can stop following me at any time.� He sighs and looks back at Shadow_Watcher.
Shadow_Watcher: �Can�t help it ,lad�the boss lady told me to.� He just looks at him.
Valrash: �Who is the boss lady?� He sighs again.
Kyra jumps, and turns around. �Well, you were so quiet.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse shifts his glance from the hallway to Luna�s gentle face, �Hard to tell we�re heading for a battle from the way everyone�s acting.�
Kyra: �I thought perhaps you wanted some time to yourself.�
Shadow_Watcher: �Why�its the lady that�s always hanging on Eclipse�s arm. Luna I believe.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Occasionally, but not right now,� Stryder smiles lightly to Kyra, �Sorry if I was quiet, it�s hard to get mental peace with all these new telepaths hanging around us.�
Valrash : �Well then, lets find that person and have a chat.� He starts walking with Shadow_Watcher to find Luna_Faline.
Luna_Faline sniffs the air and looks around at the regular crew, �I know what you mean, has it become such a common occurrence?�
Claron leans in close to Tabris peering out the window, too. �If I look at long enough...it almost reminds of rainbows after a rain��
Kyra nods, �The airwaves ARE kinda crowded, these days.�
Vin_Da_DM: �For those shorter lived I cannot say, but for me it seems as much. Though I wish it weren�t.� Eclipse sighs a bit then leans over and kisses Luna on cheek, �But you are a welcome distraction from such thoughts.�
Cara glances at Clarice before returning her gaze to her father.
Katie hears Shinta whisper that he feels the need to meditate on the coming battle and
nods. Receiving a sweet kiss from him, she watches him walk away, and fingers her bracelet absently, before resuming her walk alone�
Tabris: �That it does,� Tabris wraps his arm around Claron.
Shadow_Watcher spots Luna, �And there she is.�
Luna_Faline wraps her arms around Eclipse, �You�re so sweet to me,� purring as I hug him.
Luna_Faline sniffs the air and tenses hisses softly, �Awww, damn it.�
Vin_Da_DM: �To be anything other would insult the goddess herself I fear,� Eclipse smiles sweetly at Luna then notices her hiss.
Luna_Faline takes a deep breath then steps back and turns to face the two newcomers.
Kyra leans against the doorway, fiddling with her nails.
Vin_Da_DM: �Yes...it can be distracting. Getting a moment of silence lets me drift in my own thoughts for once,� Stryder says with a longing in his voice.
Valrash: �Excuse me. But my small friend here told me that you told him to follow me. Can you kindly get him to stop?� He sighs, �It�s really hard to pray when you feel someone watching you.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Praying?� Eclipse tilts a brow then gives Luna a quick glance.
Valrash: �Yes, I pray to my mother and father.�
Tabris: �So, you ready for this?� Tabris looks at Claron�s reflection in the glass.
Luna_Faline crosses my arms, �Are your parents deities?� raising a brow.
Valrash: �No, but I was always taught to pray to them.�
Katie wanders aimlessly, her mind busy.
Vin_Da_DM: �I see he left you alone again,� Syne�s voice reaches Katie as he walks up beside her and takes her pace walking beside her, �Makes you wonder what he does when you�re not around, eh?�
Katie: Raising a brow, Katie thinks for a moment. �I suppose he meditates. Perhaps he even questions hanging around someone who�s a complete mental case.� She shrugs.
Vin_Da_DM: �An interesting concept,� Eclipse comments on Val�s words.
Clarice notices the complete silence since the ending to be told the story behind Cara�s name.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, I knew he didn�t like me, but a mental case, that�s just rude.� Syne says gently trying to lighten the mood a bit.
Valrash: �It is but one never usually goes against their studies or their parents,� he sighs.
Luna_Faline casts a glance up at Eclipse then turns to look at Shadow, �Your not a very good watcher if they know your watching.� Shakes my head at the newcomer, �Never mind, so what is your name? And where are you from? And why were you looking for me anyway?� looking him up and down.
Kyra looks up at the hint of longing in Stryder�s voice �Yeah. But complete radio silence ain�t always all it�s cracked up to be.� She frowns moodily.
Valrash: �He was doing a fine job, but his armor is too clinky. I am from Hell, my name is Valrash, and I was told you where the one to get him off my back in a sense.�
Vin_Da_DM: �True, but a moment away from Cara�s ever-present thoughts is good enough for me,� Stryder leans against the other side of the doorway from Kyra.
Katie can�t help but smile. �I meant me, you goob. You are ANYTHING but mental.�
Katie: �And who says he doesn�t like you?� Katie cocks her head.
Vin_Da_DM: �Good to know someone around here likes me,� Syne smiles at Katie, �And you�re hardly a mental case, if anything your ghost whispering boy is.�
Katie: �Remy is the mental one.� Katie muses softly with a grin.
Luna_Faline looks from Valrash to Shadow and back. �That is not exactly what I meant. You have been looking for us, for me, for a long time. Why?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse crosses his arms quietly listening to Luna and Valrash.
Valrash: �Because my mother wanted me to join your ranks. Perhaps you have heard of her, her name is Sehkmet,� he smiles.
Claron leans her cheek up against the side of Tabris� face, �I don�t know...sometimes...it seems like I haven�t been ready for anything that has happened since the first day of ever coming to this place,� sighs.
Tabris: �I know what you mean�� Tabris sighs again then turns his head to kiss Claron, �I suppose we can be un-ready together then.�
Kyra smiles a bit, �I�m finding that Cara has some good things to say, at times.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Trust me, I hear the good and bad more than I wish to,� Stryder shakes his head then leans back against the doorway, �It�s a constant feed that only rarely goes silent.�
Clarice: �Okay...Maybe we should continue on our way...find the galley...get a bite to eat�� hesitantly interjects.
Luna_Faline raises a brow and turns away for a moment looking at Eclipse and damning a poor memory retention from one incarnation to the next.
Vin_Da_DM: �Sehkmet?� Eclipse�s gaze drifts up towards the ceiling for a moment as he thinks, �You mean Sehkmet of the Crimson Plains? �
Kyra chews her lip for a moment. �And yet you seek out the company of yet another telepath, who fills your head with more traffic�� She closes her eyes and leans her head back into the doorframe.
Valrash : �Yes, I believe that is her�but she now resides in Hell, last I checked. I left on her bidding.� He smiles gently thinking of his mother letting a metal picture of her slip out to all who can receive.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not to insult, but it�s easier to filter others out,� Stryder looks at Kyra, �And unless I�m mistaken, my company is enjoyed.�
Luna_Faline paces for a bit, �Why did she want you to join us?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Yes, I would also like to hear that answer,� Eclipse eyes Valrash, �My last meeting with your �mother� did not go well.�
Krya: ~Oh yeah, you can tell how miserable I am in your company.~ A grin tugs at the corner of Kyra�s lips.
Valrash: �She said I would understand when I got there, but her intentions were to get me away from my father.� He grimaces, �The name of my father is Mileor.�
Vin_Da_DM: ~It must be dreadful, I do apologize.~ Stryder smirks.
Valrash grimaces even saying the name.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse growls in a clearly hostile manner at that name, �That would explain the taint I sense on you.�
Luna_Faline looks at Valrash, �His mother is in Hell and she�s the good one?� hisses at Eclipse.
Kyra: A laugh bubbles up gaily from deep within Kyra, �It�s torture, let me tell you. Everyone should be so cursed.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Not exactly Hell, the Crimson Plains are...what�s the word...a kind of limbo for souls not yet judged by their mis-deeds.� Eclipse shakes his head then eyes Valrash.
Luna_Faline paces the other way for a moment rubbing my amulet thoughtfully.
Vin_Da_DM: �Though it pains you so, I think I will stick around,� Stryder winks at Kyra along with a chuckle.
Kyra: �Twist my arm, why dontcha�� Kyra�s eyes twinkle.
Claron enjoys returning Tabris� kiss, feeling safe in his arms, �With you by my side...any thing is possible.�
Valrash: �My mother never mentioned you before, but I wouldn�t mind discussing her with you if you wish.� He laughs.
Katie: �Naughty naughty, little Katerina�will you kill thissss one, too?�� Katie winces, but keeps walking.
Tabris: �I sure hope so,� Tabris smiles warmly at Claron then picks her up with a large bear hug and kisses her, �Have I said how much I love you today?�
Vin_Da_DM: �You�re doing it again, Kat.� Syne notices her wince and looks concerned, �Sure you don�t want to tell me what�s bothering you?�
Shadow_Watcher walks over to Luna, �I don�t trust him, its just too much coincidence that he�s here now. Don�t you agree? But I suppose the same thing could be said about me,� he frowns.
Katie: �Slight headache.� Katie says a little too quickly, �I think it�s brought on by all this jumping around.� She gives him a small nervous smile.
Luna_Faline stops pacing and faces the pair. �Well for whatever reason, you found us.� looks from Valrash to Shadow, �Yes, well, I�m not sure how or why your here either.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse eyes Valrash, �Perhaps some other time...I am not in the mood to discuss either of your parents.�
Shadow_Watcher: �It could have been the battle I was in�where magic was being used could have ripped me here. I have been told I�m nearly 480 now.�
Claron�s eyes sparkle as she breaks out into a grin, �Yes...you have...I�m still waiting for the showing��
Vin_Da_DM: �It�s more than a headache,� Syne studies Katie�s expression, �If it�s something private, you can trust me to keep it such.�
Vin_Da_DM: �So, I�m guessing this will be more than a space battle. They wouldn�t need us close rangers if it was,� Stryder says sounding concerned.
Katie: Moisture creeps from the corner of Katie�s eyes, and she blinks it away as best she can. �I know I can,� she says, reaching out to touch Syne�s arm briefly. She closes her eyes for a moment, letting Syne guide her. Then she opens them again and stares ahead.
Tabris: �If only we had the time�� Tabris sighs reluctantly, �Battles have such bad timing.�
Valrash turns for a second and concentrates, suddenly the demon in Katie�s head burps loudly and says, �Excuse me� in a small voice.
Cara looks back at Clarice shaking her head, �No...if you both wouldn�t mind...I could use a little alone time,� turns and starts walking away from them.
Kyra: �From the sound of it�� Kyra lets her words trail off, sounding sad.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, you can tell me whenever you feel like it, ain�t no rush,� Syne continues to walk down the hallway with Katie.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�ll watch your back,� Stryder says to Kyra tilting a brow at the sad inflection in her voice.
Luna_Faline sighs and waves a paw at the pair, �Whatever. Since I have received no instructions regarding either of you from my Misstress, I can only wait for you to prove you belong with us.�
Katie: �How touching�does he know the danger he�s innn?�.� Katie clenches her jaw
Vin_Da_DM: �Agreed,� Eclipse says to Luna with a nod.
Shadow_Watcher: �Well, the lad there�would like me to stop following him. I can�t blame him. Who would want a clinky small fry following them.� He chuckles.
Kyra lifts a brow, then looks over her shoulder at her ass. �Not much fun to watch, I�d think. It�s kinda big and uninteresting.� She smirks and pushes away from the doorframe. And stretches, wandering out the door and into the hall.
Vin_Da_DM: �Careful Kat, keep doing that and yer gonna lose some teef,� Syne says joking as some teeth plop out of his mouth and into his hand, �An we don�t want that, it ruins the smile.� He grins wide showing some gaps, then chuckles absorbing the teeth back into himself and closing his mouth.
Valrash: �Well, if you want to know my talents�I will be more than happy to tell you,� he sighs.
Katie: �Might give me that rugged warrior look.� Katie says in a flat attempt at humor.
Vin_Da_DM: �Knowing your parentage, I have a good idea of them, Valrash." Eclipse studies the half-demon for a moment, �Fire, your mother was quite adept with it, or so the fireballs flying past my head told me so.�
Luna_Faline smiles showing my feline fangs at Valrash, �That won�t be necessary at the moment.� And at Shadow, �As for the clanking, armor has come a long way in 400 or so years,� placing a paw on Eclipses arm to make the point.
Vin_Da_DM: �Oh, I think I�m rugged enough for the both of us as is,� Syne uses his hand to model his face, �Complete with scars and battle-hardened complexion.�
Valrash: �Well, I also have others. For example; telepathy, and I can use peoples inner demons against them or help them with them, or at least attempt help. For some are so disturbed that I don�t think the master of the trade could do anything about them.�
Clarice nudges Tewyn, �Shall we...give her time to digest what she has heard,� as they continue to walk in the opposite direction of Cara.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse nods, �Both inherited, sadly your powers will not work on Luna or myself. So best not to bother to even try,� Eclipse says sternly then glances to Luna and Shadow.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder follows besides Kyra, �Not what I meant, but if you say so.�
Valrash: �No point, if I�m your ally and Mother told me only to help with people. For their lot is hard enough with the choices they make.� He gives a concerned look, �But I think one of your party has a big problem.�
Tabris turns his gaze to the window as the rainbow colors of hyperspace peel away into starry space, �Looks like we�re there.�
Valrash: ~And now I understand what she meant by choices we all have to make. Mother or Father.~
Luna_Faline tilts my head, �Since you don�t want to be followed and watched, I�ll turn the tables. You are now responsible for him,� pointing at Shadow.
Katie nods distractedly, then asks out of the blue. �Does having anyone who cares about you die make you a bad person to be near?� in a quiet pondering tone.
Claron nods her head, �Looks like it��
Vin_Da_DM: The ship rumbles as a large bright purple pulse blazes past the the window in front of Tabris and Claron.
Tabris jumps back, �Phew...close shave.�
Shadow_Watcher gives a look at Luna, �I may be able to be bossed around by you, but I don�t think he�s under the same stipulation as me.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse steadies himself against the wall as the ship rumbles, eying the others he nods, �I think that�s our cue.�
Kyra pokes out a tongue at Stryder, ��I�m glad you choose to hang out with me. Suddenly things don�t look so bleak.�
Katie stumbles.
Kyra grabs for Stryder�s arm with a yelp.
Shadow_Watcher stumbles back.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne glances around, �Looks like the battle�s already started,� Turning he looks around, �And to answer the question, I�m still here.�
Valrash: �Is it time for the daily lessons already?� he says absentmindedly.
Cara becomes determined to block the sending of her thoughts to anyone.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder helps steady Kyra then glances down the hallway, �Fighting time��
Kyra: �Damn.� Kyra whispers.
Luna_Faline using her tail for balance as the ship rumbles, �Well, that�s enough of the small talk I suppose.�
Vin_Da_DM: The ship�s general alarm sounds along with Gabe�s voice lording over the coms, �All officers report to battle stations. Warriors report to the bridge immediately.�
Claron leans back away from the flash, instinctively.
Shadow_Watcher cheers, �Finally time for battle,� and runs to where the bridge is.
Katie nearly loses her footing, falling into the wall with a force that bruises her shoulder and knocks the wind out of her.
Luna_Faline looks at Eclipse, �Where does he think he�s going?" as I begin walking toward the bridge.
Tabris eyes Claron, �Once more into the fray��
Valrash: �Well then, I suppose its time to help out. I�ll try to keep an eye on the small one, but most of his race is already where I call home,� and walks towards Shadow_Watcher.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne cringes and moves over to Katie, �Kat? You okay? Sorry I didn�t catch ya.�
Claron reluctantly agrees.
Luna_Faline pauses and looks back at Valrash, �I said your responsible for him, so catch up to him.�
Katie: �Shit!� Katie gasps, regaining her footing and rubbing her shoulder. �Hell of a wake-up call.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Wouldn�t be a wake-up call if it wasn�t a hell of one,� Syne smirks then eyes Katie, �You good to go?�
Valrash: �Great, now I take orders from a cat. Is this what you wanted Mother?� runs to catch up with the dwarf.
Katie gives Syne a trembling smile, �Aren�t I always?�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks at Kyra and takes her hand shimmering the two of them to the bridge.
Tabris turns and heads for the bridge with Claron.
Kyra blinks, then shakes her head rapidly. �Whoa. That�ll take some getting used to.�
Luna_Faline shakes my head as I watch them go. Growls lowly at Eclipse, �I don�t trust either of them, so what�s next?�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne �pops� his knuckles then starts in a jog down the hallway toward the bridge, �Better go see what all the fussin�s about.�
Katie nods. �Off on another adventure. Our life is never boring. Let�s kick ass and take names�and numbers, if they are cute�.� She seems more herself for a brief moment.
Vin_Da_DM: �See what Gabe wants�� Eclipse says to Luna as they continue on towards the bridge.
Vin_Da_DM: The ship rumbles softly a second time, the purple beam missing the ship by a greater distance this time.
Shadow_Watcher and Valrash both stand on the bridge waiting, Valrash watching Shadow_Watcher with a slight amusement.
Luna_Faline sighs, �That�s not what I meant, exactly. But yes, seems the time has come to do some space fighting,� as I follow Eclipse to the bridge.
Vin_Da_DM: On the bridge Gabe shouts out orders to officers working busily with their stations. Eyeing the Warriors and company as they file onto the bridge he sighs and shifts his view back to the main view screen.
Vin_Da_DM: On the main bridge screen a large black ship almost blending into the star-filled space around it hovers at the other edge of the battlefield. Equally black fighters and crosiers are buzzing around fighting with Gul-Qian ships.
Vin_Da_DM: Occasionally large purple spears of energy shoot out from the large ship, destroying any smaller ship in it�s path towards the cruisers and larger ships.
Vin_Da_DM: Gabe growls, �Any of you happen to be good with a fighter? Cause we need�� Gabe is cut off mid-sentence by an alien officer who shouts out, �Boarding craft are heading for the Issik and the other capital ships, sir!�
Vin_Da_DM: �Damn it...move to intercept them. And get that damn orb tied into my weapon systems!� Gabe shouts angrily then turns his attention back to the Warrior, his eyes blazing green. �Grab a fighter or help us deal with intruders. Take your pick.�
Luna_Faline looks at the view screen as I enter the bridge. �I�ve not had lessons for that yet, Gabe.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at Luna then back at Gabe, �I�m not one for flying, I will stay on board.�
Shadow_Watcher growls, �What�s a fighter? Is it like me?� before he pulls out his axes.
Vin_Da_DM: From the main screen the Ruinhammer looses a volley of green trailed missiles towards several small black ships. Gray wispy explosions mark impacts against some of the targets.
Luna_Faline shakes my head at Shadow, �No.�
Shadow_Watcher: �Well, damn!� he sighs.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks out at the main screen then at Gabe, �I�m a decent pilot��
Valrash: �I have been trained in them,� he shrugs.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne reaches the bridge and slows to a walk as he approaches the others near Gabe, �I take it the battle is,� Syne pauses looking at the view screen, �Well, underway.�
Katie wrinkles her nose, �I�m horribly rusty��
Luna_Faline looks around the bridge, �Where is Finn? Wasn�t he a pilot in the past?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Sir! The enemy ship is firing on A�dal!� An officer shouts as several of the purple spears group together blazing their way towards the massive defense station, which has numerous streams of turret fire streaming out at the enemy fleet.
Vin_Da_DM: �Finn,� Gabe says thinking for a moment, �Crazy kid, said he was going �outside�.�
Shadow_Watcher stares blankly at Gabe.
Tabris and Claron reach the bridge and notice the others, �All right, we�re here.�
Kyra hears Stryder and sighs, �I�m going with you. I can�t fly by myself, but I know enough to be a decent copilot.�
Valrash: ~What is he?~ he directs at Cara referring to Finn.
Cara hears, but does not respond.
Vin_Da_DM: Several enemy cruisers bear towards the Ruinhammer, firing smaller versions of the purple spears at the ship. A small blue glow on the view screen glides into their path causing the spears to arch back towards their origins.
Luna_Faline growls, �Damn it, Finn!� watching the view screen, �Well, I think you guys need to get going and the rest of us will deal with them,� pointing at the screen.
Valrash: ~Your silence is so reassuring~ he sighs.
Vin_Da_DM: Gabe nods then motions to a bridge officer who approaches then looks at the group, �Anybody who can fly a fighter come with me.�
Valrash walks over to the bridge officer.
Vin_Da_DM: The chaos of space battle continues to rage on the Ruinhammer's view screen, explosions from either side marking destruction. A�dal's massive shield luckily absorbs the full force of the attack against it, several of it�s turrets re-aiming towards the main enemy ship.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks at Kyra, �That�s me...you gonna be okay?�
Tabris gives Claron a hug, �Looks like we need fighters and if our boys going one of us has to watch his back.�
Claron readily agrees with Tabris.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne looks at Katie, �So, we staying here or taking to the stars?�
Shadow_Watcher sighs and sits down out of the way.
Katie gives a small smile. �You trust my flying? I�m rusty as hell.�
Claron: �We both will watch his back.�
Vin_Da_DM: �If you�re going to stay here, I�m with you.� Syne says studying Katie�s smile.
Katie looks at Kyra, �Evidently, he doesn�t want company, honey. Stay here where you can help.�
Vin_Da_DM: �All right, anyone who�s coming,� The officer turns and heads out of the bridge.
Valrash follows him.
Katie looks at Syne, �I guess that means you don�t trust my flying. Guess we�d better stay here.� She gives a faint smile.
Tabris grins at Claron, �Time to doing some flying m�dear.�
Luna_Faline looks around the bridge for something to do.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse notices Luna looking around, �I�m sure we�ll get our fill of action soon.�
Claron nods her head as she reaches for Tabris� hand.
Vin_Da_DM: �Question would be, do you trust your flying?� Syne questions Katie.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder heads off following the officer as well.
Shadow_Watcher: �Hey Luna, you want to have a talk while we wait for some �action�.� He smirks at action.
Kyra watches him go, her chest aching.
Cara stands back watching Kyra.
Luna_Faline nods at Eclipse, �I know,� looks down at Shadow, �About what would you like to talk about in the middle of a battle?�
Vin_Da_DM: ~I promise I�ll make it up.~ Stryder says to Kyra as he continues down the hall.
Shadow_Watcher: �Well, for instance�What is the enemy and how do I kill it?� he frowns.
Katie looks haunted. �Suddenly not. I have this feeling I�d only get you killed.� She mouths the words to herself.
Kyra: ~You�d better come back in one piece, dammit!~ Kyra�s eyes grow moist.
Vin_Da_DM: �You�ll be getting your answer soon, dwarf,� Gabe says as he hears an officer report, �We�ve positioned ourselves between the Issik and a majority of the boarding ships. We�ve got incoming!�
Shadow_Watcher: �Dwarf�that�s a new one.� He gets up and asks, �Where do I go for the action?�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne pats Katie�s shoulder, �Then we can have fun roughing the enemy up in person.�
Cara feels herself become overwhelmed with sadness.
Luna_Faline sighs, �You don�t want easy answers, do you?�
Katie: �Awww, whatsamatter, McKinnon? Losing yer nerve? You afraid of somethin?�� Katie�s eyes are glazed.
Vin_Da_DM: The officer leads the pilots to the fighter bay catwalk. Motioning to available fighters he nods, �Grab a suit and pick a fighter, we�re launching ASAP.�
Shadow_Watcher looks at Katie, �You gunna come with me and watch me back?� he smiles.
Valrash puts on a suit and gets in a fighter.
Vin_Da_DM: On the view screen the Darksword, Zach�s ship, soars ahead towards a group of enemy cruisers starting to engage Issik�s defense fleet, Zach voices echoes on the ships com, �Good luck, old man� it�s my turn to have some fun now!� The Darksword�s cannons shoot out large lightning bolts towards the enemy ships.
Tabris gets his suit on quickly then helps Claron with hers. Securing his helmet he nods to her, �Looking good, Babe.�
Claron smiles radiantly as Tabris cops several feels in the process.
Vin_Da_DM: Donning a suit Stryder climbs into a fighter and boots it up. Testing the coms he speaks, �Good to go.�
Kyra wanders forward and rests her fingers on the view screen, looking at it and not seeing it.
Valrash finally finishes preflight and radios in, �Valrash here, ready for departure.�
Tabris gives Claron a playful tap on the ass as he heads for his fighter, �Bet I can get more of those bastards than you, dear.�
Katie closes her eyes, �I should be out there,� she growls under her breath.
Claron chuckles, �A challenge?... You�re on!�
Vin_Da_DM: �There�s still time,� Syne says to Katie.
Vin_Da_DM: A bridge officer shouts out from his console, �Detecting hull breaches on decks 3 5 10 sections 35-50!� Gabe stands up and nods, motion to nearby officer, �Take command, I�m going to welcome our �guests� personally.�
Shadow_Watcher follows Gabe, �I got yer back, lad.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at Luna, �Looks like we have company and it�s time to pay our respects.�
Katie�s eyes flame to life. �Guests you say? C�mon, blowhard. Time to make them feel at home.�
Kyra looks up. �Blowhard? Yer a bitch, McKinnon.� But a faint smile hovers on her face.
Katie stretches, as graceful as a wild cat, and flexes her fingers, grinning. �Let�s go.�
Vin_Da_DM: As the fighters unlock the bay doors open and the auto-pilot sequence launches the fighters out of the ship. Handing over pilot control once they�re clear. The officer�s voice comes over the coms, �Form up on me and take out anything that�s not friendly.�
Valrash forms up onto the officer slightly above and behind him.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne smiles approvingly at Katie, �Let�s give them a warm and fuzzy greeting.�
Luna_Faline nods at Eclipse and follows Gabe off the bridge as I draw my sai, �Let�s get this done.�
Shadow_Watcher follows Gabe pulling his axes out and smiling, �Finally, something to do.�
Tabris glides his fighter into formation next to Claron.
Kyra nods and heads for their new arrivals, but she stops and looks back at the viewport, her chest tightening as she sees the ships launching. ~Watch your ass, you hear me?~
Claron smiles as she sees Tabris flank her.
Vin_Da_DM: As Gabe strides down the hallway his black carapace slides out from his tattoos covering him clothes and all, his demonic half more apparent now. Glancing over his shoulder he chuckles ethereally, �It�s been a while since we�ve fought together.�
Cara thinks only to herself��Everybody better watch their ass.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder finishes up the formation then scans ahead of them, �Boarding craft already on the hull damn...more incoming.� The wing commander replies on the com, �Boarding craft and escorts incoming, break and attack.�
Valrash: ~Hey, stay alive. You are the first friend I�ve had in a long time�be careful.~ he directs at Cara.
Cara maintains her silence.
Valrash : ~Mother, guide me~ he prays.
Vin_Da_DM: Reaching out at the wall Gabe drags his hand along it, eventually pulling a daikatana directly from the bulkhead. As it tints to light blue Gabe grips it tightly, �We�re almost there...get ready.�
Shadow_Watcher smiles and closes his helm not showing his face at all now a small slit showing for viewing purposes.
Tabris and Stryder break formation and begin to engage the enemy fighters. Tabris shouts out into the com as he pulls the triggers, �Yeeehaw, suck turret fire you bastards!� The cannons on Tab�s fighter begin to fire rapidly.
Valrash: �Come get some.� Starts firing at targets enemy wise.
Katie grabs Kyra�s arm, �He�ll be fine, sweetie. Our boy is tough.� She pulls her along.
Luna_Faline extends my claws and looks for the first signs of a fight.
Claron shakes her head as she follows suit, �Not without me, you two.�
Vin_Da_DM: Gabe pauses in the middle of the hallway and looks back at everyone, �I trust everyone can land on their feet?�
Shadow_Watcher: �If need be.�
Luna_Faline raises a brow at Gabe, �I can�t speak for everyone else, but I�m good.�
Katie gives a humorless laugh. �Except when I land on my ass��
Vin_Da_DM: Syne chuckles, �Don�t worry, I�ll catch you.�
Katie grins ,�You�re just lookin� for an excuse to grab my ass.�
Shadow_Watcher: �I bet all the girls say that to you, ye old dog�� he laughs.
Vin_Da_DM: Gabe nods then turns a hand towards the floor, the metal slides apart seamlessly creating a hole going down two decks into the fray heard from below. Raising his katana he jumps in.
Vin_Da_DM: �I believe I�m owed it...mine was the target of your wary fingers as I recall,� Syne winks at Katie then follows Gabe into the hole.
Katie gives him an innocent look, �I never grabbed�� she winks at Clarice.
Luna_Faline looks down the hole, and follows Gabe thru holding my sai ready.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse jumps down after Luna.
Clarice winks back at Katie, then feigns, �Who...me?�
Shadow_Watcher jumps down and throws one of his axes at the nearest enemy and pulls out the second two handed axe, and then uses the nearest enemy to take his motion to carve into him and slows down in the process.
Vin_Da_DM: The intruders are heavily armored, but this does little to prevent Gabe from crushing the one that he lands on.
Shadow_Watcher realizes that his blade did little to the armor, just scratch it and slow him down.
Clarice follows suit and goes into the hole.
Vin_Da_DM: Shadow�s axe sink into the armor of one of the intruders, but it doesn�t seem to notice as it continues to fire on the Ruinhammer�s security guards down the hall
Vin_Da_DM: Syne lands on the floor and rolls grabbing one of the armored soldiers by the legs and dropping him to the floor.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse, however, doesn�t actually land but grabs one of the enemy soldiers dragging him down into a pool of shadow.
Shadow_Watcher watches his axe that he flung at the other clink off the other he threw it at. �What in the blue hell is this metal?� He takes another swing, this time at the back of an armored unit�s legs.
Vin_Da_DM: Outside the enemy fighters continue to engage Valrash and the others. Stryder shouts out on his com, �One of the boarding ships is breaking through, I�ve got him!� Stryder breaks off and chases the black ship.
Luna_Faline lands in front on an intruder, �Looking for me?� as I drive my sai into his chest as I grab his rifle with my other paw.
Katie jumps down, Kyra follows. Both land with a roll to the side and come up in defensive stance. Katie pulls out her pistols.
Vin_Da_DM: Shadow�s axe draws sparks and a gray ooze from the impact site. The figure growls monstrously and backhands Shadow with a large armored fist.
Claron�s heart feels like it skipped a beat as Stryder�s voice is heard in her com unit and he brakes away.
Shadow_Watcher rolls outta the way but gets his chest hit nonetheless and is a little winded but the wing armor holds.
Vin_Da_DM: The armored figure on the other end of Luna�s sai makes a very unhealthy hissing sound followed by a gooey-pop, as though somebody microwaved a hotdog for too long.
Vin_Da_DM: A mix of black, grey and red ooze drips onto the blade of Luna�s sai.
Katie spots a target and fires three shots at it.
Luna_Faline pulls the sai out and watches the enemy fall, �I�ll never eat an earth crustation again,� as I turn and throw the sai at another intruder.
Shadow_Watcher takes another swing at the same one trying to hit the same spot he hit before.
Kyra picks a target and uses a short controlled burst of wind to knock him off balance.
Vin_Da_DM: The first of Katie�s shots pings off the armor but the other two find weaker points in the armor and sink into their target, who growls and aims and levels his large rifle at Katie.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse slides out of the shadows and quick grabs another soldier, causing him to disappear with a struggling growl.
Vin_Da_DM: Tackling one of the armored figures Syne begins to rip at the armor, �Time to see what's inside the shell.�
Katie dances from side to side, firing again.
Vin_Da_DM: Kyra�s target growls as he is repeatedly knocked back, then grabs something from the waist section of his armor and tosses it at her. It clinks to the ground in front of her beeping.
Luna_Faline lifts the rifle and fires it at a guy across the room, �Take some of your own medicine.�
Kyra uses a burst aimed at the ground to move her up and back, settling on the ground again with a smirk. �Fuck you, asshole.�
Vin_Da_DM: To Luna�s surprise the rifle seems to be rather effective against it�s owners. The rifle�s projectile, if you could call it that, completely severs the arm of her target.
The grenade explodes taking one of the ship�s security guards with it and a section of the floor and wall as well.
Vin_Da_DM: Outside three fighters begin to flank Val�s fighter and firing off energy spears towards him.
Kyra: The blast still knocks Kyra backward, slamming her into the wall. Her head makes a loud *thunk* as it hits. Kyra slides down the wall into a heap.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna�s thrown sai reflects the light with a shine as it stands quietly at the top of the dead corpse it killed, slumped against the floor.
Valrash starts twisting and turning and looping and tries to get behind the three and radio�s in, ��require assistance.�
Luna_Faline dives to the side of the room as the floor gives way. I fire my claws at the one that threw the grenade.
Tabris: �On it,� Tabris comes up behind the fighters chasing Val and destroys one with a set of missiles.
Valrash loops around to another one fires at it.
Vin_Da_DM: �Damn it...girl�s down!� Syne shouts out and makes his way to Kyra, grabbing a rifle from the floor as he does. Giving a passing enemy a face full of boomstick he examines Kyra.
Shadow_Watcher grabs a rifle off the floor, having watched Luna fire it at one of the others points and shoots at one aiming at her.
Vin_Da_DM: The rifle fires sending the projectile one way and Shadow the other.
Kyra: ~Stry�. ~ Kyra feels everything fade away.
Vin_Da_DM: The projectile grazes the target and begins boring into the space-side hull of the ship.
Luna_Faline calls the sai to my paw as I run toward Syne and Kyra, �Oh my Goddess! Eclipse!� seeing the hull being cut open.
Vin_Da_DM: Gabe continues fighting but pauses noticing the air beginning to be sucked out, �We need to plug that hole!�
Shadow_Watcher hits the opposite wall and gets knocked out falling to the floor calling out to his wife, �Marie,� hits the floor and is out cold.
Vin_Da_DM: �I see it!� Eclipse shouts out from the shadow. Grabbing a nearby soldier he pushes him towards the hole in the hull. Eyeing the shadows against the wall he sinks the soldier halfway into it then makes the shadows fade away. Leaving half of the armor soldier as a patch.
Katie dances right into the path of the fire from a soldier. It catches her in the neck and she hisses, stumbling.
Luna_Faline kneels next to Kyra and runs my paws over her head, �Come on, girl�we need ya to fight�not sleep,� as my healing eases the bump on her head.
Katie growls, �Oh you stupid, stupid son of a whore!� She clutches her throat and focuses on peeling the armor off the soldier who shot her.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne notices the soldier Katie is peeling the armor off of and he snarls. Launching himself at the armorless soldier he transforms into a werewolf and begins mauling him.
Luna_Faline sees Katie get hit out the corner of my eye, �Oh, good Goddess!� gently laying Kyra�s head down to run to Katie�s aid.
Katie staggers toward the soldier, her anger fueling her strength as she visualizes the armor tearing chunks of the thing inside it away
Valrash then gets on the com, �Thanks for the assist,� as he shoots at another target.
Katie: Seeing the soldier being dispatched by Syne, Katie snarls and looks around for a new plaything.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne howls with a bloody mouth, �Cream filled center, haha!�
Luna_Faline reaches Katie�s side as the blood is flowing between her fingers, �Katie, here,� placing a paw over her hand, �Easy, It�s Luna,� seeing her bloodlust.
Katie: �That�s just gross, darlin�.� Katie wheezes.
Shadow_Watcher feels a vibration in the ship and wakes up, manages to get to his feet and staggers over to an enemy, slashes at it with his axe.
Vin_Da_DM: Three soldiers remain from this boarding party, Gabe and Shadow each taking one, leaving one for Katie.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne wipes his fanged mouth and spits at the soldier, �It is gross...smells better than it tastes.�
Katie barely notices Luna as her eyes blaze brighter than they ever have. She smiles sweetly as she walks up to the remaining soldier and puts her hand on the side of his face. �Sweet dreams, fuck-face.� She says in a singsong voice crushing him inside his giant garbage can of an armored suit.
Luna_Faline heals Katie�s throat quickly moving out of her way.
Vin_Da_DM: Outside the wing commander manages to take out several fighters before his ship is damaged causing him to kamikaze into one of the boarding ships.
Vin_Da_DM: After sounding like a trash compactor the soldier falls over without a sound.
Luna_Faline looks around, �Wonder if the others are having this much fun?�
Vin_Da_DM: Sinking his katana into one of the soldiers Gabe watches it turn black like the armor it is piercing, �Looks we�ve got all the ones here�but there�s two other entry points left.�
Shadow_Watcher: �I�m going to need a better weapon, this thing won�t even go through it.� He sighs as he follows Gabe, stumbling every so often, but keeping pace nonetheless.
Katie: �That�s what I thought.� Katie wheezes, looking disdainfully down at the pile of shit at her feet. �So long. I�d like to say it�s been fun, but�� she coughs up some blood �Ye�re a twat.�
Vin_Da_DM: Gabe pulls his blade out and looks over at Luna, �Are the wounded no longer so?�
Shadow_Watcher keeps silent.
Kyra begins to hear faint sounds around her, but can�t open her eyes.
Luna_Faline looks down at Kyra, �I�ve done all I can do.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne shifts back to human form, any blood on him sliding off in the process. Looking around he nods, �Shame our guests had to make such a mess.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse slides out of the shadows dusting black dust particles off his armor.
Shadow_Watcher looks over to Luna, �They didn�t hit you, did they? I tried to stop one by using that thing over there.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Looks like we�ve got all the boarding craft heading for us,� Stryder says on the com as he downs a fighter with turret fire.
Katie still hears the blood pounding in her ears and she jerks her head around frantically.
Kyra lifts a hand feebly to her head, whimpering, her lashes fluttering.
Valrash says, �Roger,� and fires at another fighter.
Luna_Faline looks down at the stained sai and wipes it off on an enemy�s hand. I look up at Shadow and extend one claw, �I�ll only show you this once to ease your worry.� Makes a small cut on my arm with my claw, holding it out to Shadow it heals as fast as it was made.
Tabris: �Looking good, Babe,� Tabris says to Claron over the com as he swings his fighter in a tight turn taking out two fighters with some missiles.
Katie: �That�ssss it, dearie�kill them. You were meant to be a killer. It�s what you do. The Black Widow rises into her own power�� Katie�s breathing is odd and off sync.
Shadow_Watcher watches and smiles, �Well, don�t have ter watch yer back, but still got mine plenty bruised,� he chuckles.
Luna_Faline nods and turns to Gabe, �So let�s move on to the next level.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne raises a brow at Katie noticing something is off.
Vin_Da_DM: Gabe nods to Luna, �Let just hope my men have lasted long enough to thin them out.� Gabe turns and motions to the few remaining security guards as he creates another hole in the floor.
Luna_Faline moves to the opening and looks down it taking a deep breath.
Katie: �You know you want to�jusssst doooo ittttt�� Katie�s eyes flick from side to side, a frown hovering.
Vin_Da_DM: �Kat?� Syne walks over and shakes her a bit on the shoulder.
Shadow_Watcher picks up his other axe and picks up a pistol and looks at it and says, �When you can�t damage them with your weaponry, you use theirs. I just hope this puny thing don�t have as much of a kick to it,� grabs a holster and holsters the pistol. But before moving on, he stops and looks at Katie.
Katie whirls and lashes out blindly, her eyes not seeing anything around her.
Vin_Da_DM: �Just to the next level. We have to go several sections over then down again.� Gabe says then eyes Katie questioningly.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne gets one of Katie�s fists in his face then shakes it off and looks at her, �Snap out of it, Kat!�
Katie: As her eyes flare again, suddenly she seems to visually crumple inward.
Vin_Da_DM: �Kat?!� Syne reaches out to touch Katie.
Kyra pushes herself slowly upright, a bit woozy
Katie stares blankly at Syne, then blinks. �Huh?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Is she all right?� Gabe looks at Katie then to Luna.
Luna_Faline looks back at Katie and Syne, �I can only heal the physical body, Gabe. So I don�t know what�s going on in her mind,� I hiss at Gabe as I turn to Eclipse, �You ready for more?�
Katie looks around in confusion, �Did we get �em?� she asks Syne weakly, her eyes dulled.
Vin_Da_DM: �I am,� Eclipse gives Luna an affirmative nod then eyes Katie, �We should press on.�
Shadow_Watcher: �Didn�t that demon fellow say he could do something with peoples minds...maybe that�s what�s happening here,� he sighs.
Vin_Da_DM: �Yes, we did,� Syne rubs his chin, �Not a bad left-hook either.� Syne smirks at Katie then pats her on the shoulder, �You ready for more?�
Luna_Faline spins and looks at Shadow, �Oh great.�
Katie gives Syne a confused look. �Yes, I am�.� she shakes off her daze a bit, but frowns, �What left hook?� as she heads for the new hole and looks down.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse turns his attention to Shadow, "Knowing who his parents are, i wouldn't be surprised. Yet another reason to keep an eye on him."
Shadow_Watcher: �But then again he is off the ship. I would think these things have a range.� He sighs yet again.
Luna_Faline looks at Eclipse, �We really need to have a talk when this is over.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Nothing really,� Syne studies Katie unsure of what to tell her, �You just got into the spirit.�
Kyra grunts, �Did someone get the license plate of that craft that ran me over?� as she struggles to her feet.
Vin_Da_DM: Gabe looks around then hops down into the hole, continuing down the hall once he lands.
Shadow_Watcher: �License plate?� he asks questioningly.
Shadow_Watcher follows Gabe after asking the question.
Vin_Da_DM: �I agree,� Eclipse says motioning to the hole, �After you, Luna.�
Luna_Faline takes his hand, �I never liked the whole ladies first thing.�
Vin_Da_DM: Gabe stops after several intersections and kneels down and has the floor create a small enough opening for him to look through to the floor below. �Hmm...nothing. That�s odd.�
Shadow_Watcher: �I�ll go check it out if ye want, lad,� he says.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse takes Luna�s hand and jump down through the opening with her.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne follows Luna and Eclipse into the hole, then looks up. �You coming Katie? Kyra?�
Kyra shuffles wobbly to Luna and the others, then looks over her shoulder at Katie.
Vin_Da_DM: �No, I�ll check it out, wait here,� Gabe makes the opening wider and hops down to the floor below. Looking around he notices the boarding ship attached to the hull, �Empty, very odd��
Luna_Faline looks down at Gabe and hisses, �Cloaked?�
Shadow_Watcher looks around down there too.
Katie is holding her head in her hands, looking like she�s fighting something off. Then she walks quietly to Syne, Luna, Eclipse, and Kyra. Her eyes still look kind of vacant.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse�s eyes flash for a second as he looks down through the opening, �I don�t see anything to indicate cloaked enemies.�
Luna_Faline shakes my head, �Then where are they?� sniffing for any scents of the enemy.
Vin_Da_DM: Gabe glances around, �Smells of a trap�� Raising his now black katana he looks around again. He growls ethereally, �But shall we spring it?�
Luna_Faline growls, �Spring it how?�
Shadow_Watcher says, �I�m up for some springing. I always loved bouncing before a brawl,� he smiles.
Vin_Da_DM: �Best way to spring a trap is to walk into it,� Syne comments, giving a glance to Katie again noticing her vacant look.
Katie: �You can�t run from what you are forever, little Katie�� Katie shakes her head from side to side rapidly blinking a few times.
Vin_Da_DM: �You sure you�re ready for more, Kat?� Syne says moving next to Katie.
Shadow_Watcher jumps down into the hole turning his back to Gabe watching the other side of the room.
Vin_Da_DM: �Might as well come down,� Gabe says to everyone as he looks up at them.
Katie: �I�m fine.� Katie says, her voice flat, �Let�s do it.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder glances around at his scanners, �That�s strange...I know we didn�t destroy them all. Where the hell did they go?�
Luna_Faline steps into the hole and lands gracefully on my feet. �I suppose the best way out is straight ahead.�
Kyra gives Katie an odd look. �You don�t seem like you are in the best shape to be here.�
Tabris: �I�m not sure�� Tabris chimes in on the com, moving his fighter in a half circle looking around.
Katie: ��'m fine!� Katie snaps at her, jumping down. Kyra looks taken aback for a moment, but she follows Katie down.
Valrash: �Is it possible they cloaked?� he chimes up.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse lands next to Luna then looks over at the boarding ship, �Looks almost as if it was left for us.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Why now though? If they could have cloaked all along, why not earlier?� Stryder replies to Valrash.
Claron: �What the...did you see that? They just up and disappeared.�
Luna_Faline looks at the ship, �No way, uh uh, I really don�t want to go in there,� hisses at Eclipse.
Valrash: �They might be losing so maybe they are retreating or gathering their forces.� He sighs, �I�m not that good at military strategy.�
Vin_Da_DM: �That would be the spring for the trap,� Gabe says studying the ship.
Shadow_Watcher: �Well, lets spring it already.�
Tabris: �No, I still see them attacking the other ships,� Tabris notes on the com as he moves his fighter closer to Claron�s, �Anything on your scanners, Babe?�
Valrash fires at where a fire is coming from to see if he can hit it.
Vin_Da_DM: Valrash�s turret fire flares out towards the target but strangely disappears halfway to the target.
Claron: �No...I don�t see them...Wait��
Vin_Da_DM: Syne looks around at everyone, �Seems a little obvious for a trap...but why is it so obvious?�
Valrash fires a missile into it.
Vin_Da_DM: The missile flares out, leaving a green tail as it soars outwards. Reaching the point where the turret round disappeared the missiles does as well, but suddenly it reappears at the same distance above Val�s fighter streaking towards him.
Katie stares at the wall, not commenting, looking a million miles away in thought.
Valrash takes turret fire at it but at the same time he tries to avoid it.
Vin_Da_DM: �Looks like some sort of...distortion field?� Stryder says questioningly, giving his scanners a stare. �Scans aren�t reading anything.�
Luna_Faline looks at Shadow, �Sure, you go right ahead. I�ll just be waiting for you over here.�
Valrash: �Shit! It fired my own missile back at me.�
Shadow_Watcher: �Alrighty then, that I will. Anyone else care to join me?�
Kyra whispers, �Katie, I didn�t mean to make you angry with me.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse sniffs the air and looks around, his eyes glowing brightly as he does, �Very strange...feels like the Shadow Realm, but different.�
Luna_Faline steps closer to Eclipse, �How do you mean?� also sniffing the air.
Tabris fires a few more rounds towards the mysterious field, noticing each shot disappearing at a closer distance. �It�s shrinking, that�s not good. Shrinking is never good.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I don�t like this,� Gabe says studying the hallway around them.
Katie�s eyes flare to life, but she doesn�t move.
Shadow_Watcher says as a thought, �Maybe its like you, Eclipse?�
Kyra sighs, �Guess you�re not speaking to me�� she looks around, but finds nothing.
Luna_Faline holds the sai tightly looking around listening hard, breathing deeply trying to find some hint of what is going on.
Vin_Da_DM: �No...it�s moving around us,� Eclipse shifts his gaze back and forth across the room.
Vin_Da_DM: �I suggest we get closer to the ship, no telling what�ll happen if that thing hits us. Stryder says as he pilots his fighter closer to the Ruinhammer.
Luna_Faline looks at the sai then up at Eclipse and whispurrs, �Do you think I should use the sai on it?�

Vin_Da_DM: The immediate area is intact but the void is on this deck as well, advancing slowly closer.

Vin_Da_DM: Outside, those in fighters notice a hypergate forming and two new capital ships with escorts jumps in. These new ships begin to open fire on the large black ship.

Vin_Da_DM: With a quick burst the void crumples inward making everything go black for everyone. A dim organic lighting catches your eye as you notice your surroundings have changed. A pulsing black cavern, resembling what appears to be the inside of something big, surrounds you.
Vin_Da_DM: The light is very dim and gray, scattered around the room are various groups of aliens from the other ships. Looking similarly confused and displaced from the battle. Up near the top of the cavern Voyager hovers in the air looking down.
Vin_Da_DM: �Welcome, ladies and gentleman. How nice of you come visit. I have a simple proposition for you. We know you that there is an artifact in one of your vessels. Tell us where it is and we will let you live. Refuse and well�its best you tell me.� Voyager evil laugher echoes in the large cavern.
Vin_Da_DM: �I will ask each group in turn. For every lie or refusal I get, I will destroy you, your ship and everybody on it.� Hovering closer to the ground he grins, �In the meantime, we shall continue to indulge this little conflict you have against us.� Waving a hand a large misty-view of the battle appears the entire span of a wall.
