Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: Having recently formed an alliance with the Gul-Qian Republic the Warriors got some well earned time off to relax, rewind and eat. Luna and Eclipse took this time to contact Selenia, getting some insight into current and future events.
Vin_Da_DM: During this time off the group met a mysterious half-demon named Valrash, who took it upon himself to act as a bodyguard for Cara. The couples in the group also got some time alone to enjoy each others company.
Vin_Da_DM: *Time passed: Several �fun� hours*
Vin_Da_DM: We rejoin the Warriors at the start of a new day, the golden sun rises in Zohar�s sky, its light cascading down in pillars through breaks in the clouds swirling overhead. A light breeze rustles through the trees as the sounds of the city coming to life fill the air.
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
Valrash wakes up and kneels down and prays. �Dear Mother Sehkmet, may you light my path and bring me to my peace. Father Mileor, may I walk the shadows in your path, and allow me to fight with your strength. And may we achieve our goals. Now that I have finished my morning prayer I shall go to work.� As he said his mother�s name a smile crossed his face. When he said his father�s name he scowls in hatred and fear. He walks over to the door then walks to the dwarf�s room and waits outside.
Shadow_Watcher kneels at his bed after waking up and prays. Walks out and eyes the half daemon, �Well now�boy, ye found me. What are ye waiting for? Let�s go find the others.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse stares up at the sky with a smile, turning he let�s his gaze drift to Luna, �Only one thing in nature trumps a sunrise and I am blessed to be lying beside it.�
Valrash: �I agree, let us do that.� He smiles.
Shadow_Watcher walks out and lets the half demon follow him.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder eyes the menu of an open air cafe, wondering what sort of breakfast he would have.
Shadow_Watcher: �So laddie, are ye any good with weapons?� he asks.
Valrash: �I am better with fire, but if I must�my claw works just as well,� he sneers.
Tabris: �Much better than our first honeymoon, if I do say so myself.� Tabris yawns before kissing Claron on the cheek lightly.
Luna_Faline smiles and purrs softly, �We�re both blessed.�
Katie stretches and yawns, sitting up in bed. At first she is disoriented to be in a strange room. The she realizes she�s in a hotel. She crawls out of bed and sees Kyra still sleeping blissfully in the other bed. Katie ambles over and yanks the covers off her.
Clarice walks up behind Stryder, �See anything that sounds particularly appetizing?�
Kyra yelps and blinks crabbily.
Valrash: �I must say, though�it was disappointing that I don�t have to guard that lady Cara." he frowns
Shadow_Watcher: �First day on the job and your fired. Damn, doing better than me, laddie,� he chuckles.
Kyra: �Hey!� Kyra rubs her eyes, sitting up.
Vin_Da_DM: �Several things, but from the plates I�ve seen so far they�re fit for two.� Stryder gives Clarice a friendly smile, �Care to join me, Auntie?�
Shadow_Watcher walks outside the hotel and looks around.
Katie smirks. "You got in late. What were ya doin with our lil lad out there?"
Kyra: �None of your business.� Kyra climbs out of bed and heads for the bathroom.
Claron smirks, �Much better indeed,� as she wraps an arm around his neck, �I certainly enjoyed the water aerobics in the hot tub.�
Katie laughs and pulls on her leggings. �I�m starved. You want breakfast?�
Valrash looks around as well.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse stretches before turning to his side and using his arm to prop himself up, �An enjoyable night under the stars.�
Luna_Faline rolls onto my back and stretches, barely opening my eyes. �These nights are much too short.�
Kyra pokes her head out, �We talked. That�s it.� She thinks for a moment. �Yeah, food sounds good. Be out in a minute.�
Tabris: �Warm and bubbly,� Tabris whispers in Claron�s ear with a chuckle.
Clarice smiles, �I would enjoy that very much,� as she slides into the chair next to him. �Couldn�t wake Tewyn as usual.�
Katie brushes her hair, leaving it streaming down her back. �In my day, we didn�t call it talkin�.�
Valrash lets a full fire that�s around him burn so hot, that all the grime and dirt on him melt away.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder chuckles, "Not only controls rock, but sleeps like �em to, eh?"
Shadow_Watcher: �Laddie, you have got to teach me that trick,� he smiles.
Kyra: �In your day, dinos were still alive.� Kyra yells back.
Luna_Faline turns to face Eclipse, �The stars dim in comparison to the fireworks you make for me.�
Katie: �Ouch. Direct hit.� Katie finishes getting ready and sits on the edge of the bed.
Cara lays on her bed hugging the spare pillow.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse smirks then glances over the waves of grass at the city, �Morning again��
Clarice: �Its almost like its a residual effect from his time with Shaiya.�
Shadow_Watcher walks over to a diner and walks inside, �Come, laddie. I�ll buy ye breakfast and a morning ale.�
Valrash: �Morning ale? You drink this early?...Hmmm, I like you already. Count me in.� He smirks and follows him into the diner.
Vin_Da_DM: �Hmm...interesting,� Stryder gets a quizzical look for a moment then goes back to scanning the menu. Flagging down the waitress he looks at Clarice, �Figured out what we want?�
Luna_Faline follows his gaze, �Too soon,� sighing.
Katie: �I�m gonna go check on the Shinta. Meet me in the lobby.� Katie stands and moves across the room.
Claron giggles, �Breathtaking, as well.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Always,� Eclipse says then falls back into the grass, �I suppose we should find our clothing.�
Shadow_Watcher sits down and orders two plates of meat (whatever the meat may be on this planet) and two ales.
Tabris: �Taking your breath is something I do frequently and with precision,� Tabris winks at Claron as he climbs over her to grab his shirt hanging off the bedpost.
Clarice: �I�ll have whatever you are going to get.�
Katie knocks on Shinta�s door, but gets no answer. Stopping a passing maid, she inquires about him, only to be told he�s already left, and gone exploring. �Well, how do you like that?� she mutters, then thanks the girl and heads down to the lobby.
Claron makes Tabris� pants fall from the ceiling fixture and land on his head.
Vin_Da_DM: The waitress smiles warmly and greets Clarice and Stryder then waits quietly for an order. Stryder nods to Clarice, �Ok, then. Two of these �Sunrise specials� then.�
Luna_Faline grins slyly and leans over Eclipse to kiss him, �Do we really have to?�
Tabris smiles at Claron with pant legs on either side of his face, �You may want to get your panties from the balcony, that bird looks liable to use it for a nest.�
Valrash watches as the plates of crawling meat are brought to us. �Are you sure this is edible? Ehh, o�well.� He grabs a piece with a claw and chars it with his fire and eats it. He smiles, �Not too bad.� He takes a drink of the ale, �A little weak, though�it is morning�i suppose, though.�
Kyra finishes dressing and getting ready and heads downstairs.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, public decency says yes, but we could be rebels,� Eclipse returns Luna�s sly grin.
Shadow_Watcher: �Never any heavy liquid until noon there, lad.� He smiles back using his axes to chop, pick up and eat the meat that�s crawling on his plate.
Cara: �The nerve of him...thinking he can boss me around. And how dare Clarice think she could assign me a bodyguard!� The words sound muffled as she speaks them into the pillow.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne waves to Katie as he leans against a light post across the street from the hotel�s main entrance.
Katie smiles and returns the wave, catching sight of Kyra coming down.
Valrash: �I wonder when I will meet the other companions of your�s?� he asks.
Claron laughs, �Let the bird have it��I�ll just go without,� as she slides her black hooded dress over her head. �And as for this bra�� tosses it out on the balcony, too. �Maybe someone might find it will make a nice helmet.�
Luna_Faline runs a paw over his chest, �Rebels can be fun.�
Shadow_Watcher: �Well, whenever they show up, I suppose. This was their relaxation time, I suppose.� He sighs, �Too much relaxation can make one dull in battle.�
Kyra waves to Syne as well. �Did you find him?�
Valrash: �I found that a little relaxation is good for battle�makes one sharper next time they are in the fray.� He laughs as he finishes the crawling meat.
Katie: �No.� Katie shakes her head, �He�s out exploring the city.�
Tabris shakes his head as he slips on his clothing, �I can see it now, souvenirs for all our fans. �Claron�s used lingerie�.�
Shadow_Watcher: �Ehhhh, finish your ale and enjoy the morning. I ain�t one for talking yet.� He drinks a lil ale and sets it down.
Kyra: �Hmm.� Kyra shrugs.
Valrash: �Ok then.� He sighs and takes a drink of his ale and waits.
Vin_Da_DM: The waitress deposits the orders for Clarice and Stryder along with glasses of what appears to be purple colored juice. On the plates rest what appear to be pancakes, sausage and eggs.
Kyra: �Where�s your bracelet?� Kyra asks, looking at Katie�s wrist.
Vin_Da_DM: �Smells good, that�s a good sign,� Stryder sniffs his plate then picks up the two pronged fork and knife.
Katie: �Oh nooo.� Katie moans. �It must have fallen off in the bed.� She sighs.
Kyra: �I�ll get it for you, and be along in a minute.� Kyra jogs back to the elevators.
Valrash: �Well, speak of the devil. I think I�m going across the street. It was good drinking with you.� Finishes his mug of ale and walks across the street to Clarice.
Shadow_Watcher: �Later, laddie.�
Katie exits the lobby and steps out on the sidewalk.
Valrash finishes walking over to Clarice and says, �Hello there, so any other missions you want to put on me at my expense?� he chuckles.
Cara throws the pillow down on the floor, �I don�t know what I am going to do, but I WILL think of something...I have to...I either accept what fate has dealt me, or change it.� Slides off the bed and starts putting her clothes on.
Vin_Da_DM: �That they can,� Eclipse says with a humored sigh, �But alas, my manners suggest clothing, if only to prevent prying eyes.�
Kyra goes back up to their room, and searches Katie�s bed, finding the bracelet. �What a gorgeous thing it is. Aye, t�would be nice to have someone care enough to buy such a bauble, huh, Kyn?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Morning sunshine, where�s �Mr. Serious�?� Syne smirks as he says Mr. Serious by replicating Shinta�s voice.
Clarice smiles as she looks at her breakfast in front of her, �Let�s just hope it taste as good as it smells,� reaching for her fork.
Katie can't help but giggle. �I�m not sure. He�s somewhere in the city. Left early this morning.� She reaches her arms over her head and stretches leisurely.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder takes a few bites off each of the plates' offerings then nods, �Tastes similar, these pancakes have a little cinnamon like flavoring.�
Clarice almost chokes on her bite of food at Valrash�s question. �None that I can think of at the moment.�
Luna_Faline brushes a piece of grass off Eclipse�s spines teasingly, �These nature experiences are hard to hide from others.�
Vin_Da_DM: �How�s the kid doing?� Syne questions Katie in reference to Kyra
Kyra catches sight of herself in the mirror and studies her reflection. ~My nose is too short I look like a forest troll~ she sighs.
Valrash: �It�s just too bad I couldn�t be her bodyguard. I liked her company,� he chuckles.
Shadow_Watcher finishes his ale, pays the nice waitress a tip and walks out to where demon boy is and leans against a post and waits.
Katie smirks, �Secretive.�
Claron moves closer Tabris, �Ready to get a bite to eat? You certainly know how to make a girl work up an appetite.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Liked her company�well, there�s a first time for everything,� Stryder says to Clarice with a smirk.
Tabris: �Several appetites, if I�m keeping track correctly,� Tabris laughs as he quickly washes his face in the bathroom sink.
Valrash: �Are you sure I just can�t be her bodyguard?� he smiles jokingly.
Cara: ~Don�t smell like one though. Lilacs, perhaps.~
Vin_Da_DM: �Oh well,� Syne shrugs then pushes off the light post and takes a few steps, �Nice morning.�
Kyra jumps, ~Hazards of having a Mum who liked fru-fru soaps~ a note of humor in her words.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder takes a gulp of the juice with an approving nod then eyes Valrash, �You can try being her bodyguard...though I won�t fan the flames off you later.�
Katie: �Gorgeous morning.� Katie agrees. �Where you off to? Kyra and I were going in search of edibles.�
Valrash bursts into flames, �I like the fire, its fun.� He smirks as his fire dies out again �May I ask your name, sir?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse slowly gets to his feet then turns around and offers Luna a hand up, �So, now that the morning has gone and interrupted us. A meal perhaps?�
Luna_Faline ears twitch slowly, �Is that running water I hear?� sitting up and looking around as I take his hand up.
Kyra stares a little harder at her features, then grunts. �Kyn, you are such a tramp. Not all girls crawl all over a guy every time they�re alone together.�
Clarice stifles a giggle.
Vin_Da_DM: �I suppose it wouldn�t hurt to absorb...I mean eat again.� Syne smirks at Katie then looks back at the hotel, �What�s taking her? She fall in the toilet?�
Katie: �She said to go ahead and she�ll catch up.� Katie shrugs. �Unless you want to wait for her.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Sir? My aren�t we formal for a walking flamb�,� Stryder eyes him, �Stryder.�
Cara: ~Maybe he likes his women hot~ creeps into Stryder�s mind.
Vin_Da_DM: Grabbing the room key Tabris looks over at Claron, �Ready then, m�dear?�
Valrash: �It is always good to be formal while ascertaining a name, makes the person less likely to give you a false one.� He smirks, �My mother taught me to be polite, so I do so as per her wishes.�
Kyra puts the bracelet on her wrist and admires it, again. �Shut up. I�m just glad he even speaks to me.� She pulls the bracelet back off. �I am NOT a dork. Some guys might even think I�m cute.� She closes her eyes and thinks back to how much fun she had last night.
Vin_Da_DM: ~Then you�re out of luck~ Stryder mentally snickers at Cara.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse turns his head, �I think so, over there.� Eclipse extends a hand towards a forested section behind them.
Claron smiles as Tabris returns from the bathroom, �Of course�� as her stomach growls.
Luna_Faline smiles as I gather my clothing up, �Care for a quick dip before we head back into town?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Eh, if she�ll catch up then we can go,� Syne glances at either direction of the main road, �Should be places to eat either way we go.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse grabs his clothing as well, �Assuming our source of water is private.�
Katie nods, �Let�s head that way.� She points to her right.
Vin_Da_DM: �Works for me,� Syne says and starts walking up the street in the direction Katie pointed.
Kyra chews her lip and sighs. �But I guess I�m not that cute, am I?�
Cara frowns. ~Guess I will just have to prove you wrong.~
Luna_Faline purrumbles, �It didn�t seem to matter last night how private it was. I bet there are some pilots that enjoyed the show.� Laughing softly as I move toward the source of water.
Vin_Da_DM: ~I suggest a few hours in a defroster to start.~ Stryder snickers back then looks at Clarice and Valrash as he continues breakfast.
Cara chuckles, ~Only if you are the defroster.~
Kyra groans, �Yes, we�ve already established that my nose is too short�oh, shut up already.� She scurries out of the room and to the elevator.
Vin_Da_DM: As Luna and Eclipse pass between the trees a set of bright blue tiered pools rest in a circular meadow. Several naked Aeris are having a conversation in the upper most pool, and only glance at the two before continuing.
Luna_Faline pauses on the edge of the meadow. �They don�t seem to mind our state of undress,� I purr to Eclipse.
Clarice raises a brow, �Having a private conversation, Stryder?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Trying to chip some ice off your man�s daughter,� Stryder eyes Clarice as he finishes off his juice.
Cara leaves her room and runs into Kyra at the elevator. �Your hair does smell like lilacs,� as she moves up next to her.
Katie: �Deaaaad. All of them, deaaaaad. Your fault. Poiiiiiiisooooooon.� Katie stumbles a bit, her face paling a few shades.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well then let�s have a dip,� Eclipse piles his clothing near the bottom pool and slides in enjoying the water.
Clarice nods her head approvingly, �Good luck.�
Shadow_Watcher: �Well, you all are fascinating, but I think I�m going to get rid of these wings since no one will be wanting them.� Walks off to a shop.
Kyra: �Yeah. Kind of got in a habit of using Lilac soap on it. It was my mom�s favorite.� Kyra looks vaguely sad.
Vin_Da_DM: �Kat? You�re a bit whiter than usual, you ok?� Syne pauses and rests a hand on her shoulder.
Katie shudders a bit, nods, and continues walking. �Yeah. Maybe I�m just hungry.�
Luna_Faline drops my clothes next to his, watching Eclipse slide into the pool. I step to the edge and dive in, coming up for air next to him. �This is nice, I expected it to be cold.�
Cara notices the sad look on Kyra�s face, �You miss her...I know the feeling��
Kyra nods, �Yeah. I miss her a lot. She was nowhere near perfect, but she was my mom.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder watches Shadow leave then looks over at Clarice, �I think he was talking to us.�
Shadow_Watcher looks around the shop he walked into and says, �Do you all accept different types of metal to work with�cause I got some rare stuff here.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Okay�� Syne glances around, �See any place that catches your fancy?�
Cara nods her head, �Mine was most definitely way far from perfect. Despised by many...even by my own father.�
Kyra: �Wow. What a difficult thing to have to deal with on a daily basis. But right or wrong, no one can take away the love you two had for each other.� Kyra gives Cara an understanding look.
Clarice smacks her hand on her forehead, �Damn, I should have probably taken the wings and given them to my drow,� chuckles, �Might have made a good bargaining chip."
Vin_Da_DM: �You�re looking for custom work?� A bass voice accompanies the glowing eye of the Nevirus shopkeeper looking at Shadow, �I�ll have to look at this �metal� of yours.�
Vin_Da_DM: �So he could wear the French maid outfit, bunny slippers and fly at the same time, that�d be a funny sight,� Stryder chuckles lightly at Clarice.
Shadow_Watcher takes one of the wings off his back.
Cara smiles at Kyra, �Especially difficult�having to be around the one that killed her.�
Shadow_Watcher shows it to the man, �Extremely resistant to fire, and a material I have never been able to melt.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Interesting, I�ll have to scan it, may I?� The shopkeeper looks at Shadow
Clarice laughs heartily, �Oh what a picture that would make.�
Kyra: �Hmm. Yes I can see how it would be.� Kyra looks thoughtful. �But there is more to every story that what is immediately evident. I wouldn�t write your father off just yet. Katie says he�s a complete ass, but he generally has valid, if a bit bizarre reasons, for what he does.�
Shadow_Watcher: �Be my guest.� He chuckles, �I�ll be keeping one of them though.�
Tabris walks with Claron down the street, �So, I�ll let you pick where you want to eat. I did the random choice last time.�
Katie spots Stryder and Clarice, and waves.
Valrash sits down near the table Stryder is at.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder notices Katie and Syne and waves back.
Claron nods her head as she raises a finger and points to the open cafe, �Is that Stryder sitting up ahead of us?�
Valrash: ~Man, these people are more screwed up than I am.~ He thinks out loud to whomever may be listening.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne waves as well, �Guess that must be an okay place if we already got folks there.�
Katie: �What�s good?" Katie raises her voice a bit, to be heard.
Kyra begins walking, �You gonna get something to eat? I�m absolutely starved.�
Vin_Da_DM: ~Says the flaming half-demon.~ Stryder�s voice replies to Valrash loud enough to be heard
Cara: �I�d say that is a pretty accurate assessment of him. At least the complete ass part...can�t say I agree that anything he says or does seems valid to me, though.�
Valrash: ~Well, only flaming to impress the ladies.~ He makes sure ONLY Stryder can hear him.
Clarice waves back to Katie.
Tabris: �Looks like Clarice, there�s Katie and Syne too,� Tabris says pointing everyone out.
Vin_Da_DM: �Maybe you can help thaw Cara out then,� Stryder glances at Valrash and chuckles.
Claron: �I do believe you are right...Shall we join them?�
Valrash chuckles, �Well, only if she wants me to. Another mother quote."
Cara: ~Its not him I want to thaw me out.~
Luna_Faline looks up at the Aeris in the upper pool, �Wonder what they�re talking about?�
Tabris: �Why not, it�ll be a party.� Tabris continues towards the caf�.
Valrash: ~I�m guessing you are.~ He directs at Stryder so that only he can hear.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not sure...not speaking common from what I can hear,� Eclipse says and he lets himself sink in the water up this neck, �The water is quite nice.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder shakes his head then notices Claron and Tab, �Morning Mom, Dad.�
Valrash gets up, �Excuse me, I must go find someone who is tortured at the moment.�
Valrash walks in a different direction walking directly towards Katie.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne sits at a table near Clarice and Stryder, eyeing the menu he looks at Katie, �Have a look and see what sounds good.�
Claron smiles as she leans over and hugs Stryder, kissing him on the forehead, �Good morning to you too.�
Katie winks at Syne over the menu. �You mean something on the menu that looks good, I�m sure.�
Cara nods her head, �Could use a bite to eat myself��
Valrash stops 20 feet away from Katie listening.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne places a hand on the menu, �There I�m on the menu, but I�m not sure I�d be good for the stomach.�
Luna_Faline slips out of the water and sits on the edge of the pool, running my fingers thru my mane. �Do you think the others are up yet?�
Kyra: �Let�s catch up to Katie. We were headed to breakfast, before I had to go retrieve something.� Kyra points to the right as they exit the hotel. �I think they are that way.�
Cara: �Okay, although I am not so certain the others would want to break bread with me.�
Valrash smiles maliciously as he listens to Katie�s thoughts.
Katie throws her head back and laughs, her demons receding a bit. She looks at the menu, her eyes still twinkling. �Hmm. That resembles an omelet. Sounds kinda good.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Knowing them, maybe some of them,� Eclipse climbs out of the pool and sits next to Luna, tilting his arms at an angle he watches the water slide off his leathery hide.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne moves his hand and looks at the menu, �Not my hand, I hope.�
Kyra: �You�d be surprised. They are really a pretty awesome group, once you get past the sniping. They have good hearts. Though I must confess I still don�t know what to think of your father.� Kyra shrugs.
Katie laughs again. �No.� She points to a selection the menu, �That.�
Valrash stops listening as he over hears Kyra thinking two separate thoughts at once and walks straight towards her.
Vin_Da_DM: The Nevirus returns from the scanner and places the wing back on the counter, �An interesting metal indeed. To make armor suitable your size it will take a while. If you give me your name I can send for you when it�s finished.�
Claron smiles as Tabris pulls her chair out for her, sitting her across from Clarice. �Always the perfect gentleman��
Vin_Da_DM: �Ahh, the �Plains Eggcake�,� Syne says reading the menu upside down as Katie looks at it.
Shadow_Watcher: �Mah name is Shadow Watcher.� He smiles.
Luna_Faline squeezes the water out of my tail and fluffs it up, �How long do you think we�ll be here?� glancing up at the Aeris briefly, �I didn�t even know a ship could be pregnant.�
Tabris: �Well, almost always,� Tabris winks at Claron as he moves around the table and takes his own seat
Shadow_Watcher: �Now a part of the lad will be with me�I am glad.� He smirks, "How much, by the way?�
Katie looks at Tab and shivers, feeling chilled.
Cara nods her head, even though she finds it difficult to completely agree. �Father thinks humans let their emotions get in the way.�
Vin_Da_DM: �The bill can be discussed when it is finished, as will coloring and etching should you want it,� The Nevirus shop keep nods to Shadow, �I estimate around midday, I will start work immediately if you have no other questions.�
Kyra can't help but laugh softly. "Well we do. He IS right, in that respect."
Vin_Da_DM: �The food smells good here, so it should be safe to order anything,� Stryder says to Claron and Tabris.
Shadow_Watcher: �Just make it look like this.� Takes off his suit and sets it on the table. Now in just chain mail and clothing, he waves and walks out the store.
Kyra looks pensive. �But I for one think my emotions serve a very good purpose, at times.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Kat? You ready to order?� Syne motions to the waitress who had greeted the two of them and is waiting by the table.
Valrash: �So many to torture�all in such a small place. What to do, what to do?� He smirks to himself.
Claron smiles at Tabris as she leans in and whispers, �Thank goodness for that. I couldn�t bear it if you were when we are alone.�

Vin_Da_DM: �Sounds good, I�ll have the same,� Syne says to the waitress then looks at Katie.
Valrash turns to a random pedestrian and starts unleashing their own inner demons upon them.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder fishes around in his pocket and lays down a credit chip to pay for his and Clarice�s breakfast.
Cara ponders Kyra�s words, �Even if the emotions are negative?�

Vin_Da_DM: Valrash finds suitable resistance and eventually finds his mental torture derailing like a bad train wreck. Finn shakes his head at Valrash, �I�d be careful if I were you, you could hurt somebody.� Glancing around the group he nods, �Morning, Warriors.�
Kyra thinks on this. �Negative emotions are still a part of you. But where THEY are concerned, it is a good idea to examine the reasons for them. And to try to find a positive way to deal with them.�

Tabris: �How about the this combo here, that sounds good,� Tabris points to the menu and the little picture of it next to the entry for Claron.
Kyra purses her lips, �Positive meaning, not harmful.�
Valrash: ~Man, that one is disturbed. That same thought�though, I wonder where it came from poison�~ He directs at his father.
Vin_Da_DM: �Chased a few cats...at least I think they were, ate one, though I still maintain it was self-defense, then wandered around for a while,� Syne looks over at Kyra, �Made sure the kid got to the hotel, too.�
Shadow_Watcher waits outside the shop sitting down.
Katie shudders and gags a bit. �I was talking to Stryder. That was more info than I needed, thanks.�
Claron: �I do believe he was enjoying himself when Tabris and I saw the two of them,� smiles as she looks at Stryder.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder chuckles, �Compared to that, my night was calm and boring.�
Claron nods, �Looks good to me.�
Kyra: �Boring?� Kyra stops. �Excuse me. I�I�m gonna go for a walk.�

Vin_Da_DM: �Strange how? You mean his popping out of thin air, or itching for a fight with me?� Eclipse says as he turns to put his clothes on and ignoring the giggle from one of the Aeris girls in the top pool.
Vin_Da_DM: �I hope it�s a big one, cause it�s in deep,� Stryder says jokingly to Katie.
Kyra: ~I know you didn�t mean anything bad. I was just clarifying my statement.~ Kyra�s voice sounds pained.
Luna_Faline shivers, �And the way he was carrying those wings around,� slipping the dress over my head.

Vin_Da_DM: Syne shakes his head at Stryder then watches the waitress deposit two omelet-like plates on the table.

Vin_Da_DM: �I agree,� Eclipse says securing his suit and adjusting it some giving a barely audible �there we go�. �Alright, guess it�s time to find the others.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder sighs quietly, giving Cara the mental equivalent of the finger.
Valrash stifles a laugh very well and coughs a bit instead.
Cara: �Well, I thought I had a breakfast date...but she seems to have changed her mind,� moving past Stryder and taking a seat at a table nearby the others.
Tabris orders for himself and Claron the looks over at Stryder and leans in to Claron, �Maybe some lessons on dating are in order.�
Valrash walks up behind Cara...looks at Finn briefly, but can�t see anything other than the outside of his mind. ~Your not human, are you?~ he directs only at Finn.

Vin_Da_DM: ~Not anymore.~ Finn says only that and nothing more, looking over the group he nods, �I�ll let you finish your meals. When everyone is ready I�ll meet you at the main spacedome, just down the road.�
Valrash sits down next to Cara, �Seeing how you are one of the only people of this group that I know, can you introduce me to the rest?� he asks Cara politely.
Claron nods her head, �And then the birds and bees...although I do believe the last time you brought that subject up to him he said he knew all about it,� whispers softly back to Tabris.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse nods and walks next to Luna as they exit follow the small cobblestone path leading back down the hill.
Tabris: �That may be, but a few of dad�s tricks to winning the ladies couldn�t hurt,� Tabris smirks a bit as he picks up the fork to dig into the recently delivered breakfast plate.
Cara: ~If that is what you wish.~ Cara�s voice sounds saddened to Kyra.
Vin_Da_DM: �How�s the food?� Syne asks Katie as he eats the other remaining half of his own in one mouthful.

Vin_Da_DM: The forest path connects directly to the main street, showing once again that the forest and city are seamlessly combined.

Shadow_Watcher walks up to where demon boy was before and spots him, then sits down next to him.

Vin_Da_DM: �Guess I�ll start getting that foot out,� Stryder looks at Katie then heads off to find Kyra.

Visitors with ships in orbit are requested to report to Spacedome commander. That is all.� The Qian-Su speaks authoritatively but calmly, finishing with a small bow of his head as the screens fade away.
Valrash: �But the dwarf hasn�t got his armor yet�� He disapprovingly frowns.

Vin_Da_DM: �I agree, we should keep an eye on him,� Eclipse says with a weary nod, �Two, if they can be spared.�
Shadow_Watcher walks up to the counter and hands some credit chips to him, �I hope that will be enough.� Grabs the armor and puts it on and the rest of the old armor. Walks out putting the cylinder on his side and walks up to the rest of the Warriors.
Valrash sighs and rolls his eyes.
Valrash watches the dwarf walk up, �Nice to see you there, bud.�
Cara: ~Don�t feel alone, seems one has to prove their worthiness to these Warriors.~
Luna_Faline looks over at the demon and moves farther away and whispurrs to Eclipse �So we should take him with us?�
Shadow_Watcher: What now? You don�t speak in my mind?� he ponders.
Kyra: ~Hey, I took my turn at it, once.~ Kyra smiles wryly.
Vin_Da_DM: �All right, I�ll assume we�re all here.� Alexei says, his Russian accent getting slightly thicker as he continues, �Here�s the situation, we�ve got an unknown ship heading this way, big one. It�s already destroyed the border station. The military�s ordered us to join the other ships gathering at A�dal.�
Valrash: ~Don�t worry, I don�t have to feel alone. I have a friend.~ He smiles at Cara.
Vin_Da_DM: �For now�� Eclipse whisper-growls to Luna.
Cara: ~I am still stuck in my turn, I think.~
Katie raises a brow, �How can we join in? Our ship is�erm�a bit�in the middle of something.�
Valrash: ~I can wait for my turn then.~ he shrugs.
Vin_Da_DM: �That�s where I come in,� A familiar ethereal-voice sounds from behind Alexei. Alexei steps aside and Gabe smirks, his green eyes glowing intently as always from between the errant strands of emerald hair.
Claron: �We don�t wanna risk hurting Ettik, especially now.�
Katie: �Gabe!� Katie gives a smile, her first genuine one in a while.
Clarice�s eyes light up, �Gabe!�
Valrash remains silent.
Katie: �We know who�s next, don�t we? Or do we?� Katie loses her smile quickly and looks at the ground.
Luna_Faline turns and sees Gabe standing there, turns back to Eclipse and nods, �I suppose you can always drag him into a shadow or we can eject him from the ship during a hyperjump.�
Shadow_Watcher just stands there and looks at the new person.
Vin_Da_DM: Gabe eyes Valrash for a moment then looks at the group, �It�s been awhile. The Ruinhammer is waiting, Tewyn and Shinta have already been transported aboard."
Kyra: �Figures they would beat us there.� Kyra laughs quietly.
Vin_Da_DM: �If necessary,� Eclipse says then turns his attention to Gabe.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�ll be staying with the Ettik. But I�m sure you guys will be alright without me,� Alexei says.
Valrash: ~Well, that�s not nice of them, now is it?~ He directs so only Cara can hear it. ~Sending me out to space in a hyperjump.~
Cara shrugs her shoulders.
Vin_Da_DM: �If everyone�s ready to transport, I�ll give the word,� Gabe studies the group for a moment before his gaze seems to settle on the group as a whole.
Luna_Faline steps over to Alexei and takes his hand, �Take care of Ettik and we will meet again.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I sure hope so, Ettik wants the godparents to name the kid,� Alexei smiles as much as his scars allow.
Luna_Faline smiles at Alexei, �Blessed be.�
Valrash just nods.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei nods at Luna, �Dasvidania, comrades.� Giving everyone a wave he turns and heads off towards the Ettik.
Shadow_Watcher nods as well.
Luna_Faline looks around for Finn, �Anyone know where Finn is?�
Tabris: �Knowing him, he�s around.� Tabris says to Luna overhearing her question.
Clarice waves bye to Alexei.
Luna_Faline looks at Gabe, �I suppose we are ready then.�
Cara looks at Gabe.
Katie nods and waves to Alexei.
Vin_Da_DM: �Good,� Gabe looks up, �Wide transport, my location.� With his words a bright flash surrounds the group, depositing everyone on a large semi-circular pad in the rear of a starship�s bridge.
Cara eyes grow large as she finds herself aboard this new ship.
Shadow_Watcher looks around, �What is this contraption and how did we get here?�
Katie takes it all in stride and continues to fidget with her bracelet.
Luna_Faline looks around at the ship, �Nice�Gabe, moved up in the world.�
Tewyn hides his eyes from the flash, �Well, you all sure take your damn time.�
Claron: �You�d think I�d be used to one minute you are outside and the next minute you are someplace completely different�by now,� chuckles softly.
Katie: �Ah. Prince Charming, as always, Froggie.� Katie smirks.
^Shinta looks up toward the flash to see the others arrive.
Vin_Da_DM: Gabe walks off the pad towards a console and chair that, from the look of the bridge, is clearly the captains station. �Moving up? I did own a space station, remember.� Gabe says sarcastically as he inputs commands on his console
Tewyn: �Well, your not my snow white, but I can be your bad apple,� smirking at Katie.
Clarice smiles as she moves closer to Tewyn, �Bout time you showed up yourself.�
Tabris lets out a whistle, �Impressive. Wish I had my own battleship.�
Valrash walks up to Tewyn, �You must teach me how you did those things earlier.� He smiles and starts exploring the ship.
Luna_Faline follows him to the bridge, �Own? I thought you helped build it and stayed on to run it.�
Cara just shakes her head at her father.
Tewyn: �Me?, I�ve been here�You were all dragging ass.�
Tewyn looks at Valrash, �Teach? Hmm, don�t think so�Secrets of the Dark Circle die with me.�
Katie: "Kiss a frog Prince, you say? I think someone would have something to say about that. Two someone�s, as a matter of fact.� Katie smiles, but again, it doesn�t reach her eyes.
Vin_Da_DM: �Doesn�t really matter anymore, seeing as what�s left of the station is around you.� Gabe says then continues looking over the console. An alien nearby speaks up, �Incoming com from the Darksword, Captain.�
Shadow_Watcher looks around in the contraption he is in still waiting for an answer.
Kyra scuffs the toe of her boot as she looks around at the ship.
^Shinta smiles, �Well, three people if your counting Remy. But you kiss her elf, and I�ll have to rip your soul from your body again.�
Clarice: �Most of us enjoyed a Warrior breakfast, unlike some that sleep like a rock.�
Valrash: �I�ll just have to look up this dark oracle when I get back to Hell then.� He keeps wandering off.
Tewyn: �Well, not all of us need to eat all the time�That�s how I stay so damn hot, ya know.�
Katie smirks and steps up to Shinta. �Have fun exploring the city?� she asks him softly.
Luna_Faline looks around the bridge, �Yea, it was in bad shape when we left you, sorry.�
Shadow_Watcher takes off his helmet and scratches his head.
Katie: At Tewyn�s �hot� comment, Katie snorts.
^Shinta places a hand on Katie�s shoulder, �So can I try my hand, and lips at being a kissable prince?�
Clarice chuckles.
Vin_Da_DM: In the center of the main screen, which takes up the entire front wall, a smaller screen pops up. Zach nods, �Ready to go on my end, Pops. Hey, the Warriors! Coming with us to kick some ass, right on.�
Tewyn: �See, Clarice agrees with me.�
Cara feels like puking when she hears her father�s comment.
Katie: �You need to ask?� Katie raises an eyebrow.
^Shinta: �Well, I�m no froggie, but�� kissing her.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse stands next to Luna, �Seems to have turned out fine as a ship.�
Katie: �Definitely a prince, though.� Katie says quietly, her eyes still closed.
Kyra watches Katie and Shinta and sighs.
^Shinta looks down, �See your wearing something today.�
Katie smiles and rattles her bracelet. �Of course I�m wearing it. I always wear it.�
Tewyn looks over to Cara, �So did you have a good breakfast?�
^Shinta smiles, �We need to work on adding some more memories to that I think.�
Cara looks at the small screen, her eyes widen.
Katie nods.
Luna_Faline looks at the screen then back to Gabe, �Nice to see the family working together again.�
Cara glances at her father, �Had some fruit.�
Valrash finds a quiet part of the ship and starts praying.
Tewyn: �Fruit? Where�s the taste in that?�
Shadow_Watcher just follows Eclipse.
Vin_Da_DM: �Good. Set course to A�dal, Zach. We�ll join the rest of the fleet there,� Gabe nods as the com screen disappears. Gabe looks at Luna, �Most kids want a hovercar, boy gets a ship. He better help his old man.�
Kyra walks away from the group, suddenly feeling like an outsider.
^Shinta: �So what did I miss at the gossip table this morning?�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder moves over to Kyra, �No need to be alone.�
Cara: �Guess its all matter of one�s preference, Father.�
Valrash then sits and prays in a different position.
Katie: �Nothing much.� Katie says carefully, �Just talked about Warriors past and present.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne glances around the bridge, �Not a bad ship. So what do you want us to do?�
Luna_Faline asks Gabe, �How long until we reach A�dal?�
Tewyn: �OK, I�ll give you that...One day you will have to try some Elven omelets.�
^Shinta: �Hmm, is that so?�
Kyra looks up gratefully. �Yeah. It�s just that sometimes I can really feel that I�m new to the group. There�s a closeness with you guys that I just don�t feel like I can share in, yet. At least till I�ve put in more time.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Shouldn�t be very long. The enemy is strong, but we�ve got some tricks up our sleeves.� Gabe nods, �As far as what to do, not much until we�re in battle.�
^Shinta grabs her hand, �Your troubled, so care to talk about it.. Or are you gonna try walking with your eyes closed all day?�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder wraps an arm around Kyra�s shoulder, �No better time to start then right now.�
Katie nods, playing with the charm on her bracelet.
Cara: �That would be nice, Father. And maybe one day you will let me prepare one of my favorite meals.�
Kyra�s eyes widen for a moment, then she relaxes into Stryder�s side. �I guess you�re right,� she whispers.
Tewyn: �Just so there is no cyanide or something in it.�
Tewyn: �Or Syne either for that matter.�
Cara�s face pales, as she sees Stryder wrap his arm around Kyra.
Katie brings Shinta�s hand up to her cheek. �I�m fine, really.� She says, rubbing her cheek against his hand.
Vin_Da_DM: An alien near a scanning station looks over at Gabe, �Issik is preparing to gate out, asking if we want to gate with them.� The view changes as the ship turns giving view of a very large ship, bigger than a spacestation in size, as a large blue field is forming in front of it.
^Shinta: �So, come on�What�s troubling my beautiful emerald eyed lady.�
Luna_Faline looks at Eclipse, �So, what now?�
Vin_Da_DM: �You won�t see me volunteering to be anyone�s meal.� Syne comments to Tewyn.
Cara: �I suppose you would have to trust me more before I could show the skills I learned in the kitchen from our cook.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse shrugs a bit, �I�m not sure.�
Tewyn: �You think she would offer to ask you?� looking at Syne.
Valrash sits down and feels alone and ponders to himself. ~Mother always said I should join the Warriors....~
Katie: �He will die, too, you know. They all doooo�' the whisper fades, and Katie pales again �I�m fine, I swear.�
^Shinta eases his smile a bit, �You know, its hard to hide a troubled soul from me...but if you don�t want to speak on the matter.�
Valrash: ~So Cara care to join me?~ he sends to her alone.
Kyra hesitantly puts an arm around Stryder for balance.
Vin_Da_DM: �Move us close enough to ride the warp field,� Gabe replies to the officer then glances over his shoulder, �You�re free to explore the ship while you wait. Though I�d recommend staying out of the generator room, the Orb of Ruin is still a bit cranky being used as a power source.�
Tewyn moves over to Cara, �One day I would like to hear more about you and your brother...If you wouldn�t mind sharing with me and Clarice?�
Luna_Faline looks back at the rest of the group and doesn�t see the demon. �Now where did he get off to? I don�t think we should let him just wander around.�
Katie: ~Cara doesn�t look well.~ Kyra flicks a glance at Katie, ~Neither does the McKinnon, for that matter.~
Claron whispers to Tabris having overheard Cara, �Maybe you are right about Cara, she does seem to be trying to put forth more effort with her father. And did you see how her and Kyra came to breakfast together?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Over there,� Eclipse says pointing to Valrash sitting down nearby.
Valrash looks deep in prayer.
Vin_Da_DM: �You�re right...I wonder what�s wrong?� Stryder says to Kyra.
Tabris: �It�d be nice if I was right,� Tabris whispers back to Claron.
Luna_Faline notices Shadow_Watcher behind Eclipse, �What do you know about him?�
Cara: ~Not at the moment, Valrash.~ as she glances over at Stryder and Kyra and makes sure she keeps her mind void of any thought towards them.
Kyra: �If I didn�t know better, I�d think Cara�s problem stems from you being this close to me.� Kyra whispers worriedly, �But I don�t know what is haunting Katie.�
Shadow_Watcher chimes up, �I know that he seems to be honest in wanting to find us and he prays in two separate ways. One I know, its my way of prayer. The other��
Shadow_Watcher: �I can�t be sure of.�
Vin_Da_DM: �It�s that way we should be wary of,� Eclipse says in commentary about Shadow�s words.
Shadow_Watcher: �Oh, and he can read minds. And speak to you through that.� He sighs.
Luna_Faline raises a brow, �Find us?� looks up at Eclipse, �I�m wary about all of him until he proves otherwise.�
Shadow_Watcher: �I am not sure, but it could be a prayer to a different god.� He sighs, �I�ll have to ask him later.�
Cara smiles weakly at her father, �That would be nice, Father. It would be nice to share how I feel about the loss of my twin,� trying very hard not to let her emotions overwhelm her in front of Tewyn.
Katie: �Yoo killed them. All of them. And it will return on you, one day.� Katie fiddles with the charm and looks at the floor.
Valrash stands up and opens his eyes slowly, his eyes dart back and forth as if lost.
Tewyn: �And I can tell you the story of the origin of your name, how�s that?�
^Shinta: �Am I not good company today?�
Cara: �My name?�
Tewyn nods, �Yes, your name�It was a very important part of my past.�
Luna_Faline thinks about it for a moment then tells Shadow, �Well, if you�ve already reached terms with him, then you should keep an eye on him.�
Claron continues to watch Cara and Tewyn, smiles as she sees a tender side at that very moment showing through Tewyn.
Katie: �Of course you are.� Katie tries to smile brightly, �Guess I'm just woolgathering, again.� She puts an arm around Shinta and admires her bracelet.
Shadow_Watcher takes off the wing that he didn�t make into armor and sets it down, and then sighs, �Now�well�I haven�t made terms with NO one. I just try to help, and I�ll do it if the boss man tells me to.�
Cara: �Then I would like to hear that sometime.�
^Shinta gets a sly grin on his face and wisps Katie in his arms, �Lets go explore and finish that dance shall we?�
Luna_Faline asks, �And who might the boss man be?�
Clarice stands quietly beside Tewyn not wanting to interrupt what could be a stepping stone in Tewyn�s and his daughter�s relationship.
Shadow_Watcher: �Why, Eclipse, of course.� He raises an eyebrow.
Katie: �Sounds like a plan.� Katie whispers.
Tewyn: �Well, seems we have time before our next stop if you would like me to start the story...Not even Clarice has heard the whole story,� looking over at Clarice, �So if you would like to hear, and Cara doesn�t mind the company, I can share with you both.�
Luna_Faline covers my smile with a paw, �I see,� turning to look up at Eclipse.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse rolls his eyes, �I think I�ll pass on that job. I�ve been the boss before, many...many times.�
Clarice: �I�d very much like to hear the story, that�s if Cara doesn�t mind.�
Shadow_Watcher: �Well now, you being that close�I�d say, I could take my orders from ye both.� He snickers hand heads over to Valrash.
^Shinta looks into Katie�s eyes thinking. �What�s troubling you so much?�Getting so distant.�
Valrash: �What do you want, little man? I tire of idle chit chat,� he sneers.
Shadow_Watcher: �Well now, who put you in a rotten mood, lad.� He wonders.
Cara: �I am willing to hear the story along with her,� glances over at Clarice then back at her father.
Kyra sighs.
Valrash: �No one, I�m just cranky�I suppose.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Two new additions in as many days,� Eclipse eyes Luna with a look of suspicion about it all, which fades as he continues, �Since we missed breakfast on the planet, how about we find some up here.�
Tewyn: �Then shall we go find a place to share our stories?�
Shadow_Watcher: �Well, I come to ask you�what your prayer stance was? I have never seen it used.� He sighs.
Luna_Faline shakes my head as Shadow_Watcher moves away, �I�m not sure about him either, but I would rather keep both my doubts together, eject them at the same time if needs be.� Takes Eclipses hand, �Food sounds good to me, let�s go.�
Clarice: �Yes, and maybe you can begin it as we look for a quiet place.�
Valrash: �I pray to my mother, which resides in Hell, so therefore, I pray differently to her. Now go away, you�re bothering me.�
Cara nods her head in agreement.
Shadow_Watcher: �Alright then, I will leave ye alone.�
Katie takes Shinta�s hand, �Let�s explore.� She leads him off the bridge.
Kyra hears her stomach rumble.
Shadow_Watcher walks back up to Luna and says, �He prays to his mother. He was too annoyed to be lying.� Sits down next to the wing he put down.
Tewyn nods, �Sounds like a plan,� starts walking, �Well, it all began many, many years ago in a small village.�
Shinta: �Lead the way, I�ll follow you anywhere.�
Katie smiles, stopping to plant a quick kiss on Shinta�s lips.
Claron smiles, �Maybe we should explore this ship...locate the galley....quarters,� smiles with a gleam in her eyes.
Luna_Faline looks back at Shadow as I walk away with Eclipse, �I see, just keep an eye on him.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne crosses his arms and stays on the bridge, watching the operations of the ship. �With this many ships, should be one helluva a battle.�
Vin_Da_DM: Gabe nods in response to Syne, �It�s been awhile since I�ve had a good space battle.�
Kyra: �It�s what I get for running off without breakfast.� Kyra shakes her head. �Damn drama queen.�
Tewyn: �There was a war raged between humans and elves...We were hunted down and almost eviscerated from the region.�
Cara listens quietly as he father speaks.
^Shinta: �And I�ll enjoy these kissy time pit stops along the way.�
Katie: �Oh Aye.� Katie gives him a dazzling genuine smile. �Those are the perks of the trip.�
Tewyn: �My village was attacked one night...I was the only one to survive...Only to be hunted like a beast, which is where some of the scars on this old body come from.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Quite the noisy gut you�ve got. Maybe we should get you something to shut it up?� Stryder looks at Kyra.
^Shinta: �So is looking into those dazzling eyes of yours.�
Kyra blushes a bit. �Yeah, food sounds like just the thing.�
Valrash summons up a fireball and tosses it from hand to hand.
Katie�s eyes well up. She kisses him again, and turns to lead him further.
^Shinta follows Katie
Tewyn: �I ran for my life, not having the powers I have today...Hiding where I could...Then one day I came upon this farm.�
Cara: �Obviously you managed to survive that.�
Tewyn nods to Cara, �Some days, I wonder how.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Mind your flames while onboard my ship,� Gabe says to Valrash eyeing him over his shoulder.
Tewyn: �But back to the farm...I hid in the barn�bloodied and beaten�starving for anything to eat.�
Valrash looks over, �Don�t worry, none will spill onto your ship. This is a habit of mine.�
Clarice slides an arm softly around Tewyn�s waist as they continue to walk.
^Shinta stops Katie and wraps his arms around her while standing behind her.
Katie leans back into Shinta.
Tewyn: �Guess I was careless or not paying attention, but a young girl followed me into the barn.�
Tewyn: �She looked terrified, but came up to me and ask if I was ok.�
^Shinta: �Know what I�m thinking?�
Katie shakes her head. �Not in the slightest. Unless you are thinking that I�m a total basket case.�
Clarice: �Terrified because you were an elf, or because of how you must have looked all beaten up and bloodied?�
^Shinta: �Not at all...Was thinking I must take you back to that beach one day because we must dance in the starlight.�
Valrash looks at Gabe, peering at him.
Katie closes her eyes, smiling, while tears pour silently down her face. �That sounds beautiful.� She whispers, her voice choked with emotion.
Katie: �Unless he diessss�� Katie takes a deep breath.
Tewyn: �That could of been part of it...But the raiders had been there and gave warning�giving unfair accounts of Elven actions.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Haven�t seen a hybrid before. I take it, half demon?� Gabe says to Valrash. �Continuing to stare isn�t going to answer any questions.�
^Shinta wipes the tears away, �Hey now, none of that.�
Valrash says, �Not staring, just wondering where you hail from.�
Tewyn: �Claiming I killed any human I saw, when it was entirely the reverse.�
Katie sniffles, �I�m sorry.� She says quietly. �You just take my breath away, sometimes.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Which one are you asking?� Gabe continues looking over the readouts on his console as Syne watches the two curiously as he listens.
Cara: �They told falsehoods against you and your kind then��
Tewyn: �But for some reason she helped me�provided food and bandages...even some nice conversation over a few days.�
Katie: �Poisonnn, McKinnon�.� the sinister voice intrudes once more, �Poor little Black Widow McKinnon��
Tewyn nods, �Yes, we were protecting our lands.�
Valrash: �Your demon half,� he says.
^Shinta turns Katie around, �Well, I�d rather keep you smiling.�
Katie: �You do.� Katie lays her face in his neck.
Clarice: �Sounds like a pretty brave young girl.�
Tewyn: �We played Hide & Seek in the barn for entertainment...Even after all the untruths told of me and my kind, she showed me a hope in mankind I thought I had lost.�
Vin_Da_DM: Gabe nods, �I am from the planes of Abaddon, in a different dimension. I am also from Mars.�
Valrash: �Both of my parts hail from Hell.� He sighs, �I know not where it is, but mother said I must come and be with the Warriors�so here I am.� He looks down as if feeling rejected.
Tewyn: �Then that night came...The raiders stormed her family�s farm on a lead from one of their spies.�
Kyra goes to what appears to be a replicator, �I don�t suppose I could get a ham and cheese sandwich,� she muses.
^Shinta just holds Katie tight.
Katie clamps her mind down and just soaks in the moment.
Tewyn: �She led me away, but they followed after murdering her family.�
Cara gasps, "All of them?"
Tewyn: �Yes, they had no compassion for those conspiring with elves...though her family never knew of me.�
^Shinta starts to hum softly in Katie�s ear and dancing slowly.
Clarice: �Oh, what guilt that young girl must have felt.�
Tewyn: �If she had ever got a chance to make it back to her home, I�m sure she would of...but...but��
Katie sniffles, �I�m getting your shirt all wet,� she whispers.
Clarice face pales, �They found her with you��
Tewyn nods slowly, �Yes...and showed her no compassion...She was a kid...Eight years old at the most.�
^Shinta: �Ah, is nothing.�
Tewyn: �They chained me like a slave, and forced me to watch them slash her...calling her a human traitor�I could only watch and hear her screams.�
Kyra orders some fruit and nibbles it while looking around. �Mmm. This is sweet.� She licks the juice from her fingers slowly.
Tewyn: �They killed one of their own, just for being in my company...they left me for dead, as they did her.�
Cara: �But she wasn�t dead like they thought?�
Tewyn lowers his head, �I was able to get free, and crawl to her...before she died in my arms I ask her what the name of my savior was...The name of the person to give me hope in mankind, and hope in what was to be on my path...Her name was Cara.�
Tewyn looks at Cara, �You are named after this young girl, this very girl who gave me hope in my past�You were to be the hope for my future��
Cara�s eyes widen,: �You expect me to live up to her name?!��
Clarice brushes a tear from her own cheek, finally understanding a part of him he had kept hidden from her.
Tewyn: �You are my child...I don�t expect you to be her, but I want you to make the name proud to have...I let her down, as I have you...but you can give her name the honor it deserves.�
Vin_Da_DM: Outside the Issik's warp gate finally finishes being created, an officer on Gabe�s bridge speaks up. �Issik calling for fleet readiness for hyperspace jump before count down.� Gabe nods, �Send confirmation of our readiness.�
^Shinta caresses Katie�s cheek, �Hey, emerald eyes, what you thinking?�
K^K: Katie gazes deep into his eyes. �I�m thinking I don�t deserve you,� she murmurs.
Cara looks at her father, speechless for one of the first times where he is concerned.
Tewyn catches Cara�s eyes with his, �I hope to atone for both those wrong doings.�
Cara looks into her father�s eyes...her mind reeling from what he just told her.
