Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: The Warriors were given some time before they would appear before the Grand Illuminant. Taking this time to mingle and interact as they slowly began making their way off the Ettik.
Vin_Da_DM: However; an ethereal energy being named Nexus took the first strike against the Warriors by �removing� Drac�s third heart straight from his chest, which caused the formerly Quickling to lose his regenerative abilities.
Vin_Da_DM: Soon met by the Grand Illuminant�s herald the Warriors were escorted to the large carved crystal structure where the Illuminant held council. There they were attacked by Nexus again as he attempted to use Cara against them.
Vin_Da_DM: Luckily Cara chose to side with the Warriors against him and with some teamwork they were able to defeat Nexus, just in time to be summoned before the Grand Illuminant. We rejoin the Warriors as the meeting with the Illuminant has already begun.
Vin_Da_DM: *Time passed: None*
Vin_Da_DM: The grey skinned Eredar who had referred to himself as Flamespeaker Dracaeus studies you from his spot on the sloped far wall. �Pilot Alexei says you have come to ask something of the Republic, yet you violated several laws. Which do you wish to discuss first?�
Vin_Da_DM: Dracaeus� tone of voice sounds with a bit of impatience but curiosity as he addresses you. Looking the group over once more he takes a seat between the two other Eredar at the same podium. Inside the water tank the three Karuu glance between each other as they wait for your reply.
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
DracBlue sits down, still getting used to not having to move around, and rubbing his chest where his heart used to be.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at Luna then around at the others at the table, �Either one is acceptable to me.�
Tabris: �If we�re trying to get these guys on our side, we�d better do some helluva good negotiating,� Tabris says with a sigh as he rests his arms on the table.
Claron looks directly at the grey skinned Eredar. �I agree with Smudge,� glances at Katie and smiles.
Katie smiles and chews her lip.
DracBlue pulls out a gem and starts to carve it into a figurine.
Cara avoids looking at the Eredar and the others.
Vin_Da_DM: A light blue skinned Qian-Su speaks up, �Do not waste our time.� One of the Karuu in the tank glances towards him in response, �Calm down Jeshua, let them think.�
Luna_Faline looks at the assembly and takes a seat at the table next to Eclipse. �I think purrhaps if we can explain why we violated your laws then you will understand why we are here.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Then explain it to us,� Jeshua replies, clearly he is very surly and impatient with you.
Clarice: �Doesn�t matter to me, whatever you decide works for me.�
Vin_Da_DM: �So who�s our designated speaker?� Stryder glances around the table at everyone.
DracBlue sets the figurine down on the table. It resembles Katie.
DracBlue pulls another gem out then starts carving another.
Luna_Faline looks around the group slowly.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne shrugs, �Don�t look at me.�
Claron: �Is it required that we have a designated speaker?�
Vin_Da_DM: �No, any of you may speak when it pleases you to do so,� the head Aeris replies to Claron, her voice gentle and understanding.
Kyra picks at her nails nervously.
DracBlue sets the second down. It resembles Shinta. He attaches the Shinta figurine to the Katie one so it looks like they are hugging. He then starts carving another gem.
Claron smiles as she nods at the head Aeris.
DracBlue sets down the third figurine of Kyra and sets it on the table. Pulls yet another out of his pouch.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks up at the Illuminant�s sitting at their podiums then at Luna.
Luna_Faline places a paw on the table and taps my claws lightly. �Well, we were on our way to seek an alliance with your Republic. However, on the way here we had the opportunity to finally end an evil reign of terror. So we did.�
DracBlue puts another figurine down on the table. It looks like Luna.
DracBlue pulls another out and starts carving.
Tabris: �A terror known as RD and her army of goddamn cyborgs,� Tabris comments in on Luna�s words.
Cara raises her head as she hears Luna speak.
DracBlue says distantly, �That robbed us of a companion.�
Katie stretches her legs out, remaining quiet, listening.
Luna_Faline waves a paw back towards the doors we entered thru, �Unfortunately, evil has a way of showing up unannounced. As you have witnessed today.�
Vin_Da_DM: �So you are responsible for the �terrorist attack� on Rathron�s headquarters?� The lead Nevirus looks over your group with his glowing eye.
DracBlue sets another figurine down that looks like Eclipse next to Luna one.
DracBlue starts carving another.
Luna_Faline clenches my paw into a fist, �Terrorist? Do you condone the torture, mutilation and murder of thousands of innocent people?�
Clarice: �We helped others that had planned the attack.�
Cara mumbles quietly, �They jumped at the chance.�
Vin_Da_DM: The three Karuu glance at each other then one speaks, �What Rathron does within it�s walls is not our concern. No members of the Republic were involved, for that you should be thankful.�
Luna_Faline turns to Cara with eyes flashing, �You have no idea how fast I would have jumped at the chance before.�
DracBlue sets Clarice�s miniature on the table and starts carving another.
Vin_Da_DM: �It would have been your concern eventually,� Eclipse says to the Illuminants.
Luna_Faline turns back to the Karuu , �The Republic may not have been involved, but are you sure that none of your citizens were victims?�
Cara doesn�t acknowledge Luna�s look or comment.
Katie nods to herself, her face grave.
DracBlue finishes yet another and this one looks like Tabris. Looks in his pouch and notices a prismatic diamond and wonders how it got there, pulls it out and looks at it.
Claron: �Do NOT think your Republic is safe. No one is safe from Daegriss and his Dark Army.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Dark Army? What Dark Army? Do you have proof of this?� Jeshua stands and points a clawed finger at your table.
Luna_Faline stands up and removes her jacket, throwing it over the back of the chair. Begins to pace, �Rathron was amassing a huge inventory of mutant�s and cyborgs not that far from the borders of your Republic. You would have felt the pain of their plots soon enough.�
DracBlue picks up the one of Kyra and places it back in his pouch and begins to carve the prismatic diamond.
DracBlue: �Don�t forget those giant regenerating creatures,� as he sets the prismatic Kyra on the table.
Luna_Faline nods at Drac, �Yes�those, too.�
Claron: �I have more than enough proof,� as she looks over at Stryder, �Our son�s twin became one of them.�
DracBlue pulls yet another out and starts carving it.
Vin_Da_DM: �And where is this twin? Yet another piece of evidence laid before us with not but words,� the Nevirus leader speaks from his podium.
Katie: �Dead,� Katie speaks quietly.
Vin_Da_DM: �But there is truth to their words Sabir,� the Aeris leader replies to the Nevirus.
DracBlue: �You�re worried about evidence�when these people show up at your front door and you can�t even protect a traveler sent here by yourselves. I lost my third heart because of your ignorance.�
Luna_Faline looks at Alexei, �Your own man here, has been witness to many of Daegriss� minions. The ship, Ettik, has suffered greatly at their hands.�
Claron glances over at Tabris, then looks back at Stryder.
DracBlue sighs then goes back to carving.
Vin_Da_DM: Jeshua looks at Drac, �An evil that followed you into our territory, tell me what other evils trail behind you and who has suffered because of it?�
Kyra�s eyes shimmer at the mention of a dead twin, but she just raises her chin higher.
Luna_Faline stares at Jeshua, �I am not entirely convinced that threat followed us.�
DracBlue sets down another statue, one of himself without wings, down and looks at Jeshua. �Now that I didn�t know, but at the same time it was at your docking bay that I was attacked in. So how can you be so sure that these people won�t eventually come after you?�
DracBlue pulls another gem out and starts carving.
Clarice: �I have suffered. Tortured in ways one would not dream possible. Left with both physical and mental scars from when I was held captive by them...and will live the rest of my life knowing they are responsible for my being barren.�
Katie goes back to staring at her legs.
Luna_Faline nods sadly at Clarice�s declaration.
Cara cringes as she hears Clarice, secretly still not wanting to believe that her mother would have been a part of that.
DracBlue flicks a little piece of carved off gem at Katie playfully.
Vin_Da_DM: Several of the Illuminants begin to talk amongst themselves. Dracaeus glances down at the table and nods, �So you say. Tell us then why you would seek our aid? Do you seek more ships to bring to battle against this �Dark Army�?�
DracBlue then attaches wings to the figurine of himself that spread upwards towards the sky reaching for something.
DracBlue then places a different gem in the wings.
Claron rests her hand on Tabris� forearm, �They kidnapped our twins...they were only hours old. When we finally located them after several months, they were as you see our son now.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder glances at the Illuminants then leans back in his chair.
DracBlue: �I don�t know what they seek, but I seek someone�not something at the moment.� Then carves yet another gem.
Luna_Faline stops pacing and stands behind Eclipse, laying a paw on his shoulder. �The destruction of Rathron is a moot point now. The real war is greater than just Rathron and it�s leader. Your Republic can not continue to survive by straddling an intergalactic fence. You will be dragged into the coming war one way or another. Would it not be better to do it on your own terms?�
Katie: �Honored hosts,� Katie says softly. �What we speak is the purest truth. Rathron would have soon encroached even on your peaceful existence. They were a threat to the entire balance of the universe. We did what we had to do, and I believe I speak right when I say that none of us would change our course of action.�
DracBlue sets down a figurine of Stryder.
Vin_Da_DM: �Very well, the destruction of Rathron is the past, your choices are your own. Now we must look to the future,� the previously silent Gul leader speaks, her voice soft but filled with presence.
Katie: �And indeed we seek your aid, in manpower, ships, or whatever you are willing to provide. However, we understand what we ask is not something you would normally provide. And if you do not feel it necessary to do so, we will of course, honor your wishes.�
DracBlue sets a figurine of Remy down dancing the chicken dance.
DracBlue starts to carve another.
Vin_Da_DM: �If they wish our aid, I suggest a test to prove them worthy of it!� Jeshua says pounding a fist on his podium. �And do you intend to let them use the Ettik for this �test� or yours Jeshua?� the Aeris leader replies.
DracBlue sets yet another figurine down , but it is of no one here it is a small burly looking man with twin axes with what looks to be fire in his eyes.
DracBlue pulls another gem out.
Vin_Da_DM: �The Ettik will not be used in this test,� the Eredar leader glances at the other Illuminants from under his red hood. �It must remain under supervision until the birthing cycle is completed.�
DracBlue sets down one that looks like Tewyn and cuts it up into many little pieces.
Luna_Faline squeezes Eclipses shoulder and looks at Alexei with shock, �Birthing cycle?�
Clarice: �Why must we prove ourselves.? Have we not provided you more than enough facts?� as her temper begins to rear its ugly little head.
Claron: �Birthing cycle,� Looking around at the other females, �Are we keeping something to ourselves?�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei glances at Luna with a nod, �Ettik�s pregnant, Luna.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I thought it wasn�t female?� Syne says with a curious look.
Luna_Faline bows my head, �I don�t think I�m prepared to play midwife this time.�
Katie: �I thought it was genderless.� Katie adds, her look amazed.
Kyra: �That�ll be a whopper of a baby.� Kyra whispers to herself.
Claron�s mouth drops open, �Ettik...is pregnant?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Facts only get you so far,� Jeshua says glancing at Clarice, �Actions carry more weight.� He glances around at the others Illuminants, �I call for a vote to test the outsiders to prove their worthiness.�
DracBlue finishes carving the rest of the crew. Then sits there looking at them and connecting them together in what looks like a collage.
Vin_Da_DM: The two Qian-Su next to Jeshua stand, �Seconded.�
Clarice: �Now I have heard of every thing�ships having babies...I�ll be damned and I can�t even have one.�
DracBlue: �How can?�wait, I don�t want to know. Well, who�s the father or mother?�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei leans in closer to the table, �Ettik did not wish to alarm any of you, thus why it was kept secret.�
Luna_Faline purrs, �Alexei, who was the lucky father?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Very well, the vote is called,� Dracaeus glances around then looks down at the table, �While the vote is debated there will be a short recess. You are to remain within the building until you are called.�
Vin_Da_DM: The massive doors open and the Aeris attendant enters the room and motions you out into waiting room.
DracBlue holds the dwarf up that he crafted, �I wonder if any of them survived.�
DracBlue lifts up the collage and brings it with him.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder slides out of his chair and walks out into the large room from before.
Kyra rises and heads back out to the lobby.
DracBlue walks out to the lobby.
Vin_Da_DM: Finn glances over towards the doors from his sitting spot on the floor, he nods to himself, �Good.�
Katie is still shaking her head and whispering to herself, �Pregnant. I�ll be damned.�
Claron and Tabris move towards the waiting room.
DracBlue: �Hey, one of you want this? If not I�m just gunna break it.�
Katie gets up and walks out, too.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei files out of the room and begins pacing slowly.
Luna_Faline stands looking at each Illuminant individually, before finally grabbing my jacket and following the others out the door.
Clarice follows behind them and smiles as she sees Finn, �What is good, Finnikins?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse follows after Luna, �Let�s hope that�s a step in the right direction.�
Vin_Da_DM: �They�re taking a vote. That means you at least have them considering your position,� Finn says calmly as he stands.
Cara follows Stryder into the waiting room.
Tabris: �Test...wonder what kind of test we�ll have to do this time,� Tabris sighs a bit as he looks at Claron.
DracBlue: �Anyone?� He looks at the group holding the collage up.
Kyra walks over to the far wall and sits on the floor, with her back to the wall.
Vin_Da_DM: �They�re your toys flyboy, do whatever you want with �em,� Syne says as he looks at Drac.
Clarice nods her head at Finn, then reaches a hand up and tousles his hair.
Luna_Faline throws my jacket at a chair. �I really don�t like that one!� Growling as I pace, �Pompous, egomaniac, probably in league with RD.�
DracBlue sets it down on the floor out of the way.
DracBlue walks over to Kyra and says, �You mind if I have a seat here?�
Claron looks back at Tabris, �I suppose we will know soon enough.�
Kyra shakes her head. �Not at all. Go for it.�
DracBlue sits down.
Vin_Da_DM: Finn smiles at Clarice then pauses for a moment, seeming to look through Clarice at something distant.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder leans against the wall next to Kyra and Drac, �So what do you think they�ll have us do?�
DracBlue pulls the prismatic Kyra out of his pouch and holds it up, �You know, you were the only one I could stand to carve into this. Weird though, it turned out better than I would have hoped. Here its yours.� He holds it out on his palm for her.
Katie walks back to her previous spot, leaning back into the wall and closing her eyes.
Clarice notices Finn seems to be looking right thru her, �What is it, Finn?�
Luna_Faline stops pacing facing the broken tank, taking off my amulet and rubbing it between my fingers, grumbling, �He was so full of himself. He�s gonna make sure we have to do some nasty test. Like we haven�t gone thru enough already.�
DracBlue: �Probably go kill one of their enemies or help give birth to the ship�s baby.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Visiting the past again, Kat?� Syne walks close to her and watches her with her eyes closed.
Vin_Da_DM: �He�s the commander of the Republic�s military, what did you expect?� Alexei looks over at Luna.
Cara watches Stryder next to Kyra and feels a twinge of anger mixed with pain.
Kyra takes the proffered figure. �Thank you, Drac. It�s beautiful.� Then she looks up at Stryder. �I don�t know. But I get the feeling it�s going to take our all to achieve it.�
Katie opens her eyes and gives Syne a tired but dazzling smile. �This time, no.� She sighs, �Just wondering what we will have to face this time.�
Vin_Da_DM: Finn shakes his head and then looks back at Clarice, �I�m not sure��
DracBlue closes his eyes and just sits next to Kyra listening to everything that he can.
Vin_Da_DM: �Whatever it is, we�ll all be facing it together,� Syne watches Katie with a certain admiration in his glance.
Luna_Faline looks at the amulet, �I didn�t expect the military leader to head the Grand Illuminant. I was expecting a scholar, or a religious type leader.�
Clarice: �Hopefully, its not something bad.�
Katie nods. �Yes. That is true. And together, I do believe we can do just about anything. I�m very proud of us. All of us.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Jeshua is not the leader of the Illuminant, that is Dracaeus,� Alexei says to Luna, �Believe it or not he�ll probably take our side.�
DracBlue�s stomach growls.
DracBlue jumps up in shock. �What in the holy hell is happening to me now?�
Kyra laughs softly. �You�re hungry, Drac.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder chuckles, �Very hungry from the sound of it.�
DracBlue: �Hmmmmm�but I have no food I can currently eat. I only brought metal.�
Kyra smiles up at Stryder, �Pity his stomach doesn�t handle what it used to. There�s enough debris here to keep him going for a while.�
DracBlue: �I wonder if I have to eat what you all do now?�
DracBlue: �It probably could, but it might hurt me. I don�t want to take that chance.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Might have to see if we can find something to eat then,� Stryder says smirking at Kyra.
Luna_Faline glances at Alexei, �Why would the leader of the Illuminant allow the military to act so pompous?�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei shakes his head, �That I cannot say. The vote will be close, I know that much.�
DracBlue: �I just hope I don�t have to eat nearly as much,� he sighs.
Kyra frowns a bit, �I�m a bit hungry myself, actually.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse, �The question is, if the vote favors us do we take the test?�
DracBlue offers a hand to Kyra, �How bout we find some food together?�
Kyra shakes her head, but gives Drac a smile. �I think we need to wait here to find out what the decision is.�
Luna_Faline turns to face Alexei, �How long until Ettik is able to go? And what happens to the baby?�
DracBlue frowns, �Well, you may not want to leave�but they�re saying almost nothing I understand in there. I�ll go get us some food and be back.�
Clarice: �And if we don�t take the test...what happens then?� adds to Eclipse�s comment.
Vin_Da_DM: �Ettik�s pregnancy is moving along quickly. It should be a couple of days, then the baby will stay with Ettik until it matures,� Alexei says to Luna then shrugs, �Ettik was going to let you guys name it.�
DracBlue walks up to a guard. �Excuse me�but my friend and I require food. Is there anywhere near here I could obtain some?�
Claron smiles as she overhears Alexei and Luna, �Looks like we all going to be godparents.�
Vin_Da_DM: The guard looks at Drac then points towards the Aeris attendant waiting by the massive double doors.
Tabris: �And here we�re still learning how to be regular parents,� Tabris says.
Luna_Faline looks at the amulet then back at Alexei, �That is an enormous responsibility.�
DracBlue walks over to the Aeris attendant and says �Hello. My friend and I require food. She�s the one sitting over there,� points to Kyra. �Can we get some, please. The guard told me to ask you.�
Clarice: �Does this mean Ettik will be out of commission for awhile?� asks Alexei.
Vin_Da_DM: The Aeris smiles at Drac and nods, �What kind of food would you like?�
DracBlue: �Something without meat in it,� he smiles back.
Vin_Da_DM: �After the baby is born, Ettik will still be able to fly,� Alexei glances at Clarice, �But the two will remain close to one another.�
Luna_Faline shakes my head slightly, �How will we keep the baby safe thru what we will be facing?�
Vin_Da_DM: �All right...I�ll will see what I can acquire for you.� The attendant makes her way across the room and disappears into the long hallway.
Clarice nods her head in understanding, �That will make it difficult to protect the baby if we run into unfriendlies...won�t it?�
Vin_Da_DM: �It will definitely be a challenge,� Eclipse says with a nod.
DracBlue turns around and sighs and quietly says, �What an exquisite creature.� Walks back over to Kyra and sits down.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder nudges Kyra with his foot, �Looks like somebody has a crush on the servant.�
Claron chuckles, �Guess Godfather Syne will come in handy in that event.�
Kyra chews her lip to keep from laughing, but she can�t control the knowing smile.
Katie snickers, overhearing.
Vin_Da_DM: �Handy in what event?� Syne glances over his shoulder at Claron.
Luna_Faline smiles at Syne, �Babysitting service by Uncle Syne?�
Claron: �Babysitting in the event of unfriendlies��
Katie chokes on her laughter. �Uncle Syne�.� she wheezes.
Vin_Da_DM: �Oh really? And how do you propose I fight the bad guys, spit at them?� Syne shakes his head smiling.
Kyra: �He spits?� Kyra asks, then blushes when Katie laughs harder.
Clarice pipes in, �With that lizard tongue of yours.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder leans back against the wall laughing.
Luna_Faline shrugs and laughs, �Whatever works.�
Kyra: �That�s NOT what I meant!!!� Kyra turns several shades of red.
Katie wheezes harder, sliding down the wall slowly, her knees giving out.
DracBlue puts his hand up to his mouth and stifles a laugh by covering it with a cough.
Vin_Da_DM: Finn smiles lightly then turns his head to the side glancing towards the big double doors, �Something�s wrong��
Kyra covers her face with her hands.
Cara listens to others, not finding any humor in what has been said.
Luna_Faline follows Finns gaze to the doors, �O�Goddess, what now?�
Vin_Da_DM: Almost as if on cue to Finn�s words a loud alarm sound begins to echo throughout the room. A large pack of guards begin to file into the room and head for the large double doors.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei turns his head at the alarm, �That�s not good.�
Clarice touches Finn�s arm, �what?�because its taking too long? Or are you sensing something else?�
DracBlue stands up, extends his blades and covers himself with his wings.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder quickly stops laughing and watches the guards.
Luna_Faline steps back, out of the way. �What is going on?�
Vin_Da_DM: Without warning the double doors fly off their hinges, blowing across the room taking out several of the gathering guards as they do. From inside the council chambers sound several large energy blasts.
Vin_Da_DM: �Evil�� Finn glances towards the open doorway.
DracBlue flies up and towards the doors and looks inside.
Luna_Faline draws my sai, �I knew it.�
Claron dashes towards the doors of the Council chambers.
Clarice: �We tried to tell them that this would happen.�
Kyra leaps to her feet in alarm.
Katie stands up straight, listening.
Vin_Da_DM: A hooded figure in black is the source of the energy blasts. The figure is firing them off at several Illuminant members who are being shielded by a large purple force field, created by two of the Qian-Su Illuminants.
Luna_Faline starts toward the doors to see what is going on.
DracBlue flies into the room and says, �Well, didn�t I warn you?� Picks up a chair and throws it at full strength at the black cloaked figure.
Claron begins to concentrate on the large purple force field trying to disrupt the minute particles in it.
Vin_Da_DM: The hooded figure raises a hand melting the flying chair as it flies in the air.
Luna_Faline throws my sai at the figure while it�s distracted by the chair.
Claron breaks her concentration as soon as she realizes the force field is around the illuminants and not the hooded figure.
Vin_Da_DM: The guards begins to flank the hooded figure and charge him.
DracBlue charges up into the air and starts to dive bomb the hooded figure. While the guards are charging he swings his claws at it.
Claron turns her concentration to manipulating his gravity and trying to encase him in a gravity bubble.
Vin_Da_DM: The hooded figure turns towards the doorway, a pale face with blood red eyes watches the sai as it sails towards him. Moving his raised hand the sai is deflected toward the force field guarding the remaining Illuminants, shattering it on impact.
Vin_Da_DM: With a smooth graceful move the man jumps out of Drac�s way causing Drac�s claws to impale one of the guards.
Luna_Faline calls the sai back as it shatters the force field, before it can hit any of the Illuminants.
DracBlue flings the guard at the hooded figure.
Clarice concentrates and builds a huge ice wall up around the Illuminants as the force field shatters.
Vin_Da_DM: �You Warriors are so helpful,� the man grins at Drac then grabs the guard�s body telekinetically. �Now, now,� he tosses the guard�s body at Claron knocking her off her feet.
DracBlue flies up in the air plucks a single feather and tosses it like a dart with all his might at the hooded figure not trying to kill but to hit him.
Claron lands hard on the floor, knocking the wind out of her.
Luna_Faline growls at the man as I move closer holding the sai ready.
Vin_Da_DM: The ice wall begins to build up in front of the Illuminants. The hooded man glances over his shoulder at the large liquid tank, quickly moving his hand he shatters the glass with a energy bolt. The water crashes out and as the man laughs it parts just before him then reforms and crashes against everyone throwing you back as it flows into the large waiting room.
Claron gasps for air as she tries to lighten the weight of the guard that is on top of her.
Clarice feels herself being washed away.
DracBlue: �Fuck me silly, I gotta fight some stark raving lunatic alone.�
Vin_Da_DM: Drac�s feather is unfortunately lost in the rushing water. The man glances just under the rim of his hood at Drac, �Clever bird. Time to clip those wings of yours.� The man hovers up into the air until he is even with Drac.
Claron feels the weight of the guard lift as the water crashes into them. Manipulating her own gravity she brings herself above the water line.
DracBlue: �Well�well, do I even get to see the face of the person I have to face�or would you prefer to hide in shadows?�
DracBlue: �Like a coward��
Vin_Da_DM: Finn glances around the swirling water and begins to pull everyone out and into the air above the water level.
Clarice feels her anger rising as she looks at the hooded man, �Move quickly, NOW... Drac!� as she begins to send huge ice blocks at him.
Luna_Faline floats above the water growling, �This was a new dress, damn it.�
DracBlue flies a little back.
Vin_Da_DM: Tilting his head back the man�s red eyes gaze at Drac, a wicked smirk playing across his pale face. �So very helpful,� chuckling he thrusts his hands forward redirecting all of the ice blocks towards Drac.
DracBlue slashes at the first two but the third hits him in his gut, forcing him to land winded.
Clarice: As soon as Drac moves back from the hooded man Clarice screams, �Take this FUCKER,� flicking her hand up and sending an icy shockwave at him.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse shakes the water off and he growls.
DracBlue picks up the ice that hit him and flings it at the hooded man while winded.
Luna_Faline looks at the Illuminants.
Vin_Da_DM: Again with smooth grace the man hovers towards the shockwave. Letting it hit him he chuckles, �Ooh, it tingles, I must thank you for sharing!� Gathering his hands together he shoots a bigger shockwave back at Clarice.
DracBlue then flies back up. �Come now, is that all you got?�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne shifts into werewolf form and hops into the nearest wall and begins to run across it heading for the man.
DracBlue flings another feather at the hooded fellow just trying to hit a part of him while he is distracted.
Clarice dives on the floor trying to get out of the way of the shockwave.
Tabris clenches his fists concentrating on making large spears of obsidian.
Vin_Da_DM: The shockwave flash-freezes the ground behind Clarice, clearly not something she�d want to get hit with.
Luna_Faline looks at Eclipse and growls, �This feels very familiar, he�s using our own powers.�
Vin_Da_DM: Extending a hand the man smiles as Drac�s feather impales his hand. Pulling it out he melts the feather, �Is that all YOU�ve got?�
DracBlue watches as the feather melts and smiles, �You don�t think I would throw a simple feather at you do you?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Very�� Eclipse glances around for a section of shadows to use.
Luna_Faline shakes my head at Eclipse, �Don�t...what if he could do it then?�
DracBlue watches the melting goo of the feather climb its way back into the hand and force the own hand to use itself against the owner.
Vin_Da_DM: The man snickers and rips off his hand, tossing it aside a new one grows in it�s place with a shimmer of energy.
Cara watches the hooded man, wondering who he is. Then raises both hands and sends multiple streams of bluish-purple flames into him.
DracBlue flies up and tries to grab the man holding him still while the flames hit him.
Luna_Faline watches the man�s hand regenerate �He�s got Drac�s heart.�
Vin_Da_DM: �After all that water, I needed a good heater,� the man gathers Cara�s flames around him then lets them ignite Drac. Knocking Drac away he looks at Cara, �Mage-fire, you must be Shaiya�s little girl.� Swirling a hand forward several fireballs shoot out at Cara.
Tabris: Seeing the fireballs Tabris tackles Cara out of the way as the fireballs roast the floor.
DracBlue falls down, badly burned, crashes through the crystal table and crashing to the floor.
Vin_Da_DM: �Damn...we can�t even touch him�� Stryder curses as he watches the man in black.
Vin_Da_DM: �Now about this little alliance you had planned�� The man snickers then sends a wave of fire at the ice wall guarding the Illuminants causing it to start melting.
DracBlue raises to a knee and pulls a large chunk of crystal out of his side, cursing in his own language he throws the piece of crystal at the man.
Cara lays on the floor where Tabris tackled her, �You knew my mother?!� she screams.
DracBlue: �I�m not through with you" and spits a little blood out
Clarice concentrates with all her might on keeping that wall in ice form.
Vin_Da_DM: �Many knew her bed.� The man chuckles then melts the piece of crystal Drac threw at him, �The mighty Warriors? Hah, and to think m�lady Velarenyssa thought you dangerous.�
Cara gasps, �I suppose that includes you, too,� snarls back at him.
Vin_Da_DM: �It is a shame your dear sister died, I so wanted to taste her,� the man glances to Stryder with a insulting snicker.
DracBlue screams out in pain as he tries to fly back up, swings clumsily at the man. Doing a cartwheel in the air and swinging his feet at the man as well, but falls as soon as he finishes swinging his claws.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder eyes him, �Looking good for having died last time we met, Bronze.�
Luna_Faline moves closer to the Illuminants watching for a weak spot.
Vin_Da_DM: �Please...Bronze was weak, his essence, all that made him evil is what remains,� the man glances around and telekinetically pulls Syne off the wall and tosses him to the floor. �I�m Voyager now.�
Katie: �Same asshole. New package.� Katie drawls lazily.
Vin_Da_DM: Dracaeus watches Luna approach then glances towards Voyager, �Power absorption. If you can overwhelm him with brute force you can destroy him.�
DracBlue hits the ground coughing up more blood and crawls out the doorway.
Vin_Da_DM: �Luna, take care of Drac,� Eclipse says as he eyes a large section of shadows and heads for them.
Luna_Faline nods slightly hearing Dracaeus. Runs toward Drac growling, �I�m getting tired of saving your feathered ass.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne grunts as he pushes himself off the floor, �Damn that hurt��
DracBlue: �I�m getting tired of having to be saved, my furry friend,� he says smiling with a trickle of blood leaving his mouth.
Vin_Da_DM: Finn glances around at everyone ~Try to get him to the ground, distract him then overpower him in melee.~
Luna_Faline reaches down and grabs Drac�s hand pulling him up as I heal him. �Stop using any powers you have, he�s turning them against you.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Who shall be the first cast into the abyss?� Voyager glances around motioning at different people, "You perhaps? Or you?"
Claron says in her mind, ~Or raise all of us up to his level.~
DracBlue: �Ok, so just blades, got it.� Turns around in flight again.
Claron begins to concentrate on the gravity of each of the Warriors present causing them all to surround him at his level.
Vin_Da_DM: �You and whatever master you serve will not get away with this assault!� One of the two Qian-Su Illuminants shouts at Voyager only to be incinerated as a response.
DracBlue: �You still have me to deal with you black hooded troglodyte!� He yells as he flies in swinging his blades.
Luna_Faline puts the sai away and runs at Voyager with my claws drawn, launching myself into him feet first.
Luna_Faline rolls away as I hit him.
Vin_Da_DM: Voyager moves as if swimming in the air, smirking as the wounds Luna and Drac inflict on him repair themselves.
Clarice assaults Voyager with ice spears in his back.
Vin_Da_DM: Turning in place Voyager deflects the ice spears then continues on, as if he weren�t even interrupted, �Any volunteers, or shall I choose myself?�
Cara sends bolts of her mage-fire into his sides.
DracBlue keeps slashing at Voyager while moving with him, �Me.�
Luna_Faline draws my sai and throws it at Voyager�s chest as he turns.
Tabris sends several of his obsidian shards along with Cara�s fire bolts.
Vin_Da_DM: Several long spiky shadow bolts fire out from the shadowy area at Eclipse�s feet.
Cara sneers at Voyager, �If its young flesh you want to taste...TASTE mine!� as she continues the assault with her mage fire along with Tabris.
Luna_Faline fires my claws at him repeatedly.
Vin_Da_DM: With a loud crash all of the attacks collide against Voyager, a blinding flash of energy shines from the center.
Clarice sends more ice shards into Voyager as Cara and Tabris attack him.
Katie joins the fray, hitting him with crystal shards she�d picked up, though they cut her hands badly.
Vin_Da_DM: As the light clears everything but Luna�s sai is gone, the sai hovers in thin air for a moment before dropping to the floor.
Claron decreases the gravity manipulation and collapses to her knees as they all land softly back on the floor.
DracBlue feels the adrenaline wear off and feels the burn from the fire.
Luna_Faline holds out my paw and the sai returns to me. I slip it back into it�s sheath and move towards Katie. �Girl your bleeding,� as I take her hands softly in mine the cuts disappear.
Katie watches Luna heal her hands, then smiles gratefully. �Thank you once more, Kitty.�
Luna_Faline bows my head then turns back to the Illuminant, �So? Now what do you have to say, Jeshua?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Very impressive, Warriors.� Voyager�s voice echoes in the room, �The battlefield is yours, but first a souvenir for m�lady.�
Vin_Da_DM: Voyager appears out of thin air behind Drac and stabs a flaming ice shard through his chest. Through the spraying blood you can see Voyager drawing what appears to be a small sphere of ethereal energy from Drac�s body.
Vin_Da_DM: Chuckling Voyager vanishes, letting Drac�s lifeless body fall to the floor with a crash.
Katie gasps.
Kyra runs to Drac, screaming, �OhMyGoddess Drac, Noooooooooooooooooooooooo.�
Luna_Faline runs to Drac falling to my knees as I grab him, �Drac!� trying to heal him as I hold him.
Claron looks around the group from her kneeling position and screams out, �DRAC!!!� as she sees Voyager spear him with a flaming ice shard.
Vin_Da_DM: Finn looks at Drac then lowers his head. Perking a brow Finn glances up noticing an odd rippling in the air. �What the��
Vin_Da_DM: The rippling fluxes for a second then spits out a dwarf onto the floor, two war axes follow behind the dwarf clanking to the floor as the ripple subsides.
Shadow_watcher stands up on the floor. �Alright, who wants some? Bring it, you scurvy elves!� Stops and looks around, �What in the holy beard is going on here?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse places his hand on Luna�s shoulder and speaks softly, �He�s gone, Luna��
Luna_Faline closes my eyes and prays to my goddess silently nodding my head.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder wipes a tear from his face then glances over at the dwarf, �Where�d he come from?�
Shadow_watcher pulls out his double axes and says, �Alright, who do I have to kill for some answers?�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne kneels next to Drac and sighs heavily, �Damn you, Flyboy...I was just startin� to like ya.�
Kyra stands up, ignoring the newcomer, and retrieves Drac�s carvings from the lobby, holding them and running fingers over them. She tucks them into the pouch at her waist and stares at the wall.
Clarice makes her way over to Cara and places a hand gently on her shoulder, �Cara...are you okay?� as she sees the blank look on her face.
Tabris glances away from Drac�s body then at the dwarf with surprise.
Luna_Faline slowly lowers Drac�s body to the floor and looks up at Eclipse. �I�ve lost another one,� sighing sadly.
Vin_Da_DM: Finn walks over to the dwarf and nods, �Apparently you�ve been transported here.�
Cara just shakes her head as she looks down at Drac�s body.
Katie raises a brow at the dwarf, then walks over to Drac, kneeling down. �Dammit all to hell and back, FuzzyButt. I�m so sorry. You were a loyal companion, and your sacrifice will ne�er be forgotten.�
Shadow_watcher looks at the man, �How? I know of no magic capable of doing this.�
Katie brushes her fingers across Drac�s forehead lightly.
Shadow_watcher looks over to the Lightling�s body, � Burn it, before it rises again. I warn you.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Burn it? Who the hell are you?� Syne looks up at the dwarf.
Cara: �How can you burn him when supposedly he was fire resistant when he was alive?�
Shadow_watcher: �Keep the wings though. They won�t burn. Keep the wings as a memory of your friend,� he snorts.
Kyra digs in her pouch, then fishes out the carving of Katie, handing it to it�s model. Katie kisses Drac softly on the cheek, then rises, taking the carving and tucking it in her pocket.
Luna_Faline slowly stands up and walks toward the Illuminants, �Are you prepared to fight the likes of that and worse? I tell you now there are many more like him to come.�
Shadow_watcher: �I am of the Mountain Kin. I know of his race rather well. What was this one�s name?�
Katie: �DracBlue.� Katie says quietly
Cara: �DracBlue.�
Vin_Da_DM: Dracaeus and the remaining Illuminants look between each other then at Luna, �It is unfortunate that we had to learn the truth of it first hand...you have our full support. Those slain here today will be avenged.�
Shadow_watcher thinks for a minute, �So that little fluffball finally got out on his own, I see. So which was his charge?�
Kyra points to Katie. �Katie was.�
Claron rises from her kneeling position, �Now, as to our violating Qul-Qian rules��
Katie: �Aye,� Katie says, her voice rough with emotion. �He said he was my protector. I ne�er thought it would be this short of a friendship.�
Luna_Faline bows to Dracaeus, �I am sorry you had to witness that as well.�
Shadow_watcher looks at Katie then starts laughing. �He always did take a liking to females,� and sighs. �We have to burn the body soon or it will become an undead.�
Vin_Da_DM: �If you�re going to burn him, you can do it without me.� Syne snarls disgustedly at the dwarf then walks out into the waiting room.
Katie nods. �I�ll not be witness to his funeral pyre.� She walks out sadly behind Syne.
Kyra shivers, �I don�t want to watch,� as she shuffles after Katie.
Luna_Faline looks over at Syne as he walks out, then turns my attention back to Dracaeus. �Is there someplace we can take care of our fellow? And we will need lodging until our ship is able to travel.�
Shadow_watcher kneels next to the fallen one and starts spreading his blood around his body and then uses a flint. The body is instantly engulfed, five minutes later the entire body is gone leaving naught but two eight foot wings.
Vin_Da_DM: Dracaeus eyes Claron, �You can consider any charges against you voided. Accommodations will be arranged for you, you may use any of the shuttles at the landing pad.�
Luna_Faline is shocked as the dwarf just does it right there. �Well, I guess we don�t need to have a funeral after all.�
Cara moves towards Drac�s wings.
Shadow_watcher picks the wings out of the cinders, lifts them up and hefts them onto his shining metal armor.
Shadow_watcher: �You woulda waited any longer �you would have had to kill him again.� He drops the wings away from the body and the wings start twitching.
Claron nods, �Thank you, and our test will that also be voided?�
Tabris shakes his head, �Poor Drac...gods be with him now.�
Kyra sniffles miserably. Katie stares blankly at the wall. �Who�s going to tell his father?� she asks no one.
Shadow_watcher: �I will. I knew the chap well.�
Luna_Faline shivers seeing the wings moving on their own. �Right�� looking away quickly.
Katie tries to swallow the lump in her throat. �I didn�t do a very good job of keeping him safe, did I?�
Shadow_watcher: �I�d wait about five minutes and then take the wings. They might be a little hot still.�
Claron moves closer to Tabris.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse moves over to Luna, �You okay?�
Shadow_watcher sits down and sharpens his axe
Shadow_watcher: �So what am I to call ye?� he directs at Finn.
A sinister voice hisses in Katie�s mind, �Black Widow strikes again, eh lass?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Some sympathy you have�� Stryder eyes the dwarf then moves over to Kyra.
Katie: �Shut up.� Katie growls, her eyes pooling.
Luna_Faline shakes my head slightly, �No. I�m not okay, Eclipse,� wrapping my arms around myself.
Katie: �You failed another one, didn�t you?� the voice comes again. Katie lifts her chin higher.
Shadow_watcher: �Its their way not to mourn, but to remember the good times. Same if they were the furballs. They don�t have funerals mostly,� he sighs.
Vin_Da_DM: �You may call me Finn, Shadow watcher,� Finn studies the dwarf for a moment.
Kyra lays her head on Stryder�s chest and sniffles again.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder wraps his arms around Kyra and gives her a consoling hug.
Katie hugs herself against the doubts growing inside.
Shadow_watcher looks at Finn, �How do ye know my name? And where am I? Last thing I remember was killing some wizardly person�and here I am attending to my dearest friend�s son�s death.� He looks very questioningly.
Claron and Tabris move out with the others. Noticing the tears in Katie�s eyes, she moves over to her and wraps her arms around her. �I know what you are thinking, Kat...it�s not your fault.�
Katie looks stricken, �But Claron�how can I not think it?�
Cara growls as she catches sight of Kyra sniffling against Stryder�s chest.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse touches Luna�s cheek softly, �I wish I could have saved him.�
Kyra straightens. �I�he was always there, trying to cheer us up. He was my friend. And I�ve had so few,� she sobs.
Vin_Da_DM: �I know much,� Finn watches Shadow watcher, �As to how you arrived here, destiny works in mysterious ways.�
Luna_Faline leans my cheek against his hand, �How could we have saved him? We all thought it was over.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I know,� Stryder says softly to Kyra.
Shadow_watcher picks up a pouch that did not get incinerated by the body and looks in it. Pulls out the dwarf figurine. �I don�t believe in destiny�only me axe and me honor, Finn.�
Kyra: �I�m sorry. I got your shirt all wet.� Kyra steps back, hanging her head.
Claron: �I know...I know.�� wrapping her other arm around Katie and attempting to embrace her in a comforting hug. �We don�t have control over these things��
Vin_Da_DM: �We let our guard down,� Eclipse closes his eyes, �I should have seen it coming.�
Shadow_watcher walks over to Katie. �I must tell ye something. The little fluff ball, I assume you first ran into�they only pick women they fall in love with on first sight. I thought you should know they know not what to do about it, so they follow the person trying to protect them.�
Katie goes pale. �He was in love with me?�
Shadow_watcher then walks over to the wings and picks �em up.
Shadow_watcher: �Oh aye, I think he liked probably another of your group. Was there any carvings�special ones he gave anyone?�
Claron quickly sends the dwarf flying across the room. �You IMBECILE, she didn�t need to hear that!�
Katie: �Blaaack Widowww,� The insistent hissing fills Katie�s mind again. �Everyone who loves you �dies, McKinnon. You are POISON.�
Luna_Faline looks up at Eclipse. �How could you have seen it coming? How could any of us seen that coming? I thought my sai had done it�s job once again.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Don't worry, it�ll dry,� Stryder lifts Kyra�s head gently with a hand under her chin, �You okay?�
Kyra looks up. �My diamond carving,� she says softly.
Claron whispers in Katie�s ear, �I love you like a sister and I am still here��
Vin_Da_DM: �I don�t know�� Eclipse lowers his head, �Apparently I�m not as good a shield as I�m supposed to be��
Shadow_watcher hits the wall gets up and walks back. �Keep your temper in check, ye young trollip.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Serves him right,� Syne snarls in. �Should have thrown him harder, Claron.�
Claron eyes glares, �Mind your tongue, you overstuffed midget!�
Shadow_watcher: �You know, I was just telling the lady so she could just cherish her memories of him more. If ye have a problem with it, maybe you should blame destiny,� he smirks at Finn.
Tabris watches Claron, trying to suppress the smirk at his wife�s temper, �Now there�s the woman I love.�
Katie sways, her eyes rolling back, before she begins to fall.
Vin_Da_DM: Finn shakes his head. Looking around at everyone Finn sighs softly, �I think we should get some rest.�
Claron catches Katie as she calls out, �Tabris��
Katie: �Poisonnnnnn,� the insistent voice whispers.
Katie: �Noooooo,� Katie moans softly.
Shadow_watcher sits down again and shakes his head, �They really had no clue what he thought of you. He really must have liked them, or just didn�t know what to do. I wonder why did he leave the nest at fifty?�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne quickly moves over and helps Claron catch Katie, looking at Claron he nods, �I�ve got her.�
Luna_Faline steps closer and wraps my arms around Eclipse, laying my cheek against his cold chest plate. �I think maybe it�s time to try and talk to Selenia again, what do you think?�
Vin_Da_DM: �I think it�s worth a try,� Eclipse says wiping away the tear sliding down his leathery cheek.
Claron smiles as Syne helps her with Katie, "Kat...Kat�snap out of it, lass,� says soothingly.
Tabris watches Katie, �What�s happened to her?�
Shadow_watcher: �Why on earth would you be talking to my god?� His eyes look like they are flaring.
Katie: �I didn�t do anything wrong,� Katie pleads, �I didn�t know.�
Luna_Faline stretches up and kisses Eclipse�s wet cheek. �Ok.�
Claron replies to Tabris in a soft voice, �Her Black Widow demons are rearing their ugly heads.�
Vin_Da_DM: �You�ve gotta come back to us, Kat,� Syne brushes a strand of hair from Katie�s face, then touches her cheek softly.
Shadow_watcher hears the word demons and stands up holding a cross in his hand he walks over to Katie and sets it in her hand.
Katie: �I�m sorry.� A tear trickles from the corner of Katie�s eye. �I�m soooo sorry.�
Claron strokes the side of Kat�s face, �That�s right, its not your fault��
Shadow_watcher whispers a prayer and kneels.
Luna_Faline turns and looks at the dwarf, �What in the name of Selenia is going on?�
Claron brushes away Katie�s tear.

Shadow_watcher just continues with the prayer.
Tabris: �No idea...but he�s beginning to annoy me,� Tabris says eyeing Shadow watcher.

Katie: �No one can love someone as evil as you,� the voice insists. �You kill with a glance.�
Katie: �No!� Katie shrieks, suddenly sitting up. �What?�.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne blinks as Katie sits up, �Kat? You all right?�
Shadow_watcher continues so deep in prayer, he doesn�t even notice that she shrieks.
Vin_Da_DM: Dracaeus and the other Illuminant file out of the room, leaving your group alone in the large council chambers.
Katie starts shaking �I�� she blinks several times, �I�m�yeah, I think so�maybe�Oh Goddess, I don�t know.� She sighs tiredly.
Claron looks Syne, �I have no doubt that Kat is hearing she is...is...unlovable.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder eyes the small carving that Kyra has, �At least you have something to remember him with.�
Shadow_watcher stops praying stands up and walks back to the wings.
Luna_Faline notices the council leaving, �Purrhaps it�s time we found some place else to discuss this?�
Kyra nods miserably, looking over at Katie. �At least I don�t have THAT to bear.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse nods, �I think we should take them up on that accommodation offer.�
Cara watches Claron from a short distance with Katie, amazed by the concern and caring she is showing.

Shadow_watcher looks at the wings in detail.

Luna_Faline paw moves up to the amulet and finds it missing. �O�Goddess now I�ve lost my stone,� looking around for it.

Vin_Da_DM: �Time to find a bed then,� Syne eyes Katie for a moment.

Cara continues to look at Tabris. �Some of you�not ALL of you.� Her thoughts drift to her father.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well then, perhaps a recharge is in order,� Syne smirks at Katie.
Luna_Faline glances at the dwarf, �I believe he said 450 years, but that was before he changed.�
Shadow_watcher looks up at Luna_Faline, �That cannot be�that would mean that�.� he stops in shock.
Katie blinks up at Syne, �I don�t know what could recharge me,� she muses.
Tabris: �I know that look,� Tabris watches Cara studying her expression, �He�s not as bad as you think.�
Luna_Faline slips the necklace over my head as I look at him. �He also asked if any of your kind were still alive. He thought you were gone.�
Claron notices Tabris talking with Cara. �I can see you are in good hands, Kat.� Gives both Syne and Katie a smirk as she begins to move over towards Tabris.
Vin_Da_DM: �Generator, maybe some power cables,� Syne replies slyly to Katie.
Katie laughs, �Do I wanna know where you'� plan on attaching them?�
Vin_Da_DM: �You�ve taken a trip through time, yes,� Finn glances to Shadow watcher.
Cara: �I suppose you are going to tell me it�s a look you saw on your own daughter�s face.�
Shadow_watcher looks in shock unable to speak
Katie gets up slowly. �I think I�m gonna be alright. But I wouldn�t mind something to eat.�
Kyra's stomach growls. �Not a bad idea.�
Shadow_watcher looks at Finn, �I take it the rest of my race perished at that battle?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Agreed, even though I don�t need to,� Syne nods in agreement.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m afraid I don�t know that,� Finn sighs reluctantly at Shadow.
Katie is still unsteady on her feet, �Wheee. Taking a trip without leaving the room. Someone turn this carousel off, please.� She sways a bit.
Shadow_watcher looks around and then back at Finn, �I suppose your going to say destiny brought me here to fight with them?�
Claron: �Don�t let me interrupt...the two of you,� as she slips an arm around Tabris waist.
Luna_Faline wraps an arm around Eclipse�s waist whispurring �Let�s go find a bit of privacy.�
Katie blushes, �You weren�t interrupting anything.� She fusses with her shirt.
Vin_Da_DM: �Oh, of course not,� Syne grins.
Tabris: �Nope...a look I had for my father," Tabris says to Cara before turning and heading off with Claron.
Claron smiles as she overhears Kat and realizes she must have thought I meant her and Syne.
Vin_Da_DM: �Let�s,� Eclipse whispers back as they head towards the landing pad.
Cara stands dumbfounded as Tabris tells her he has experienced something much like herself.
Katie steadies herself, �Well then. Wonder what culinary delights they have here.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I do not speak for destiny,� Finn says to Shadow as he walks towards the hallway, �What you do now that you�re here, is entirely up to you.�
Cara rushes off behind Tabris and Claron, �Wait,� she calls out. �You hated your father, too?�
Luna_Faline grabs my jacket from the waiting room as we pass thru it.
Shadow_watcher: �Then best me in battle, and I will join their cause, They say my goddess� name freely.�
Tabris: �It�s a long story, Cara,� Tabris says giving a glance to Claron.
Shadow_watcher pulls his axes out.
Shadow_watcher: "��and no magic�s.�
Clarice moves up beside Finn, �How bout buying this girl a drink?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Best you? If that is what you wish�� Finn pauses and glances over his shoulder at Shadow.
Shadow_watcher: �Do ye have thine own weapon, or do ye need one?�
Luna_Faline ears twitching as I pause and look back over my shoulder, �O�Goddess, not now,� growling.
Vin_Da_DM: Finn looks at Clarice, �A drink would be lovely.� Without looking at Shadow he nods, �You may begin whenever you wish, Shadow.�
Shadow_watcher runs up, jumps up into the air, throws one of the axes drops down to the ground, hits it with his fist. Some rumbling occurs, enough to shake the ground slightly, and sweeps his feet at the man. Then stabs upwards with the axe with blinding speed.
Vin_Da_DM: The crystalline hallway leads out to the landing pad. The floor is still damp and several guards are tending to others injured by the rushing water.
Claron catches Tabris� glance, �It is a rather long story. One that she might benefit from though, my love.�
Katie looks at Shadow, then at Syne. �This will be quick and humiliating,� she whispers.
Vin_Da_DM: Finn looks at Clarice and smiles, �I can�t remember what you�re favorite drink was?� Shadow quaintly finds himself tossed backwards like a sack of potatoes, leaving him on the floor butt up.
Clarice smiles as she slips an arm in the crook of Finn�s, �Shall we?� as she gently tugs his arm as she moves forward.
Luna_Faline sees Shadow make the move and then chuckles as Finn sends him flying. �Do you think I should explain a few things to him before he gets hurt?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Probably a good idea,� Eclipse says with a light chuckle.
Clarice chuckles, �That�s because I seldom drank, enjoyed smoke more,�
Shadow_watcher: �I said no magic�s, man of mystery.� He swings his axe as he gets up and slashes upward.
Katie: �Or maybe not so fast, but definitely humiliating� Katie whispers to Syne.
Luna_Faline moves over to the dwarf and grabs the axe handle as he swings it, �You don�t want to do that.�
Shadow_watcher: �And why not, o� kitty that follows my god?�
Vin_Da_DM: Finn shakes his head lightly then looks at Clarice, �We shall indeed.�
Kyra walks over to Katie. �As entertaining as this is, I think I�d rather eat. You?�
Katie nods, �Amen to that.�
Luna_Faline releases the axe, �I am Luna Faline, avatar of the Goddess Selenia. These people are all chosen Warriors in her service.�
Clarice whispers to Finn, �Thought you looked like you might need a lil rescuing.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Sounds good to me,� Syne chimes into to Katie and Kyra.
Shadow_watcher: �Alright, so your her warriors. Then why can�t I touch this man? He uses magic�s that I cannot see,� he grumbles.
Vin_Da_DM: �Thank you for the timely rescue then,� Finn smiles softly to Clarice.
Kyra links arms with Syne, �Onward to the buffet, then.�
Cara looks at Tabris, �I am willing to hear you out if you should want to share it with me.�
Kate loops her arm through Syne�s other arm, �We�re off to see the kitchen�the wonderful kitchen of�hmm�that wouldn�t fit.� But she does a little skip anyway.
Vin_Da_DM: �The appetizers shall quiver with fear knowing that we come for them,� Syne spouts out the line as if reciting a play but ends up laughing.
Kyra looks at her funny. �I saw it in a holo-movie once.� Katie tells her.
Clarice smiles softly, �Anytime.�
Luna_Faline shakes my head at him, �He is very powerful with many gifts, the Goddess picks us for our differences. You may join us or not is up to you. But it is frowned upon to hurt each other. With out good cause.�
Katie laughs. Kyra giggles, and they set off in search of food.
Tabris: �We�ll...we�ve got the time.� Tabris looks over at Claron, �Perhaps over a good drink and some food?�
Shadow_watcher: �Well, my honor dictates that I must face one of the people that I am to be in league with.� He sighs, �But apparently he is even out of my combatant skills. Then I must fight someone more suited.�
Claron nods her head, �Food and drink sounds good.� Claron extends a hand towards Cara, �Will you join us?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, if a good kick in the rear is all you need,� Eclipse pops his knuckles then looks at Luna.
Katie turns around, �More suited you say? You want to fight hand-to-hand?�
Shadow_watcher: �Alright, then the rules are simple no magic and no killing blows.�
Luna_Faline bows slightly, �You must accept what ever gifts the opponent has to use.�
Shadow_watcher: �Just a fair competition of strength.�
Cara looks back at Claron and Tab thoughtfully, then slowly takes Claron�s hand, �Yes,� she whispers softly.
Luna_Faline steps back, �Can you agree to take it outside? We�ve done enough damage to their lobby today,� smiling at Eclipse.
Vin_Da_DM: �Of course,� Eclipse nods and continues down the hallway to the landing pad up ahead.

Shadow_watcher picks up the wings that the rest left there and takes it to the landing pad
Shadow_watcher drops my axes next to the wings, �What do ye say to just fists?�
Katie: �Smug lil twit. We should make him fight all of us, one on one.� Katie says to Kyra with a devious smile.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse eyes Shadow and nods, �If that�s what you want. It�s been awhile,� Eclipse stretches a bit before sliding into a combative stance.
Luna_Faline kisses Eclipse softly then smiles, �Have fun, baby, but don�t hurt him too bad.�
Shadow_watcher snaps to Katie, �I wouldn�t be able to fight a lady.�
Kyra nods, giggling.
Shadow_watcher gets in a combatant stance.
Clarice glances over her shoulder, notices Luna, Eclipse and that dwarf heading in a different direction, �Looks like something is a brewing.�
Luna_Faline runs out of the way quickly taking a position with my back to the sun casting a shadow on the landing pad.
Katie: �Yeah�well that would change rather quickly when you got your ass handed to you by a wee slip of a lass.� Katie grins.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse�s eyes pulse for a moment as he looks at Shadow, �By your leave.�
Kate follows, �Let�s have our entertainment before we eat. Might make the appetite improve.�
Shadow_watcher runs up to Eclipse and rolls into his legs.
Vin_Da_DM: �This should be interesting,� Syne watches.
Clarice, �This might be worth seeing�� as she sees Katie, Syne and Syne following after him.
Clarice starts moving her and Finn after them.
Katie: �I wish I had popcorn." Katie sighs
Kyra: "What�s popcorn?" Kyra looks at her oddly.
Katie: "You�ve never had popcorn?� Katie shakes her head. �Remind me to tell you about it later.�
Clarice and Finn join the others just as Drac rolls into Eclipse�s legs.
Luna_Faline bounces eagerly watching Eclipse hand him his honor.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse flips over Shadow and lands in a handstand looking at Shadow.
Shadow_watcher gets up, �So you�re a quick little bugger,� and punches at his midsection.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder leans against a nearby shuttle watching the fight.
Kyra sits on the ground, watching intently
Katie plops down beside her.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse flips to his feet, rubbing his chest piece. �Not bad,� Flipping over Shadow he sends his foot at Shadow�s back.
Shadow_watcher falls flat to the ground now imitating drunken fighting, clumsily swinging his foot while his opponents foot is still in the air.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse watches Shadow swing his foot and flips to the side getting himself closer to the wall. Extending a hand to Shadow he motions at him.
Clarice whispers, �Eclipse is going to mop the floor with him.�
Shadow_watcher gets up. Looking like a walking drunk, he falls down, but while doing so he flips and pushes his legs towards Eclipse.
Luna_Faline laughs at Shadow�s silly acting. �He needs lessons, teach him a new trick.�
Vin_Da_DM: Grinning Eclipse grabs Shadow by the legs then jumps onto the wall, walking several feet up the wall he turns and dangles Shadow upside down, �I can land on my feet, can you?�
Shadow_watcher grabs his midsection, kicks his foot loose and pushes off his midsection, landing on the ground on his feet.
Luna_Faline shouts, �I said teach him, baby. Don�t hurt bad enough I have to heal him this soon.�
Vin_Da_DM: �A question for you, Shadow.� Eclipse hops off the wall landing on one foot, �Would you consider natural abilities magic?�
Shadow_watcher: �Hmmm�well, I think being able to walk on a wall is a bit of an advantage, but I will deal with it.�
Vin_Da_DM: �And other abilities?� Eclipse questions further, giving Luna a wink.
Shadow_watcher: �Such as?� He backs off giving demonstration room.
Luna_Faline smiles and winks back at Eclipse.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse grins as Shadow notices something tapping on his shoulder.
Shadow_watcher grabs it and tries to throw it towards Eclipse
Luna_Faline giggles as the shadowy tentacle taps the dwarf�s shoulder.
Vin_Da_DM: Shadow�s hands go right through the shadowy tendril perching on his shoulder.
Shadow_watcher looks at it, �I don�t think it would be a fair fight if you could use those, old chap.�
Katie yawns, �Like shooting fish in a barrel.�
Clarice: �Oh, quit your belly aching�he is fighting you fair and square. You just bit off more than you can chew,� says between her chuckles.
Shadow_watcher rolls over to his axes and picks them up. �Fine, I guess all is fair now.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse smirks, �Then I believe it�s time you�re bested.�
Shadow_watcher sparks his axes creating a constant stream of would be light killing the shadows on himself.
Shadow_watcher: �Well goddess willing, I�ll probably join you and these ladies. So get it over with already.�
Luna_Faline claps my paws together and laughs at the dwarf dulling his axes
Vin_Da_DM: �Missed a spot,� Eclipse motions towards Shadow�s feet as the shadows of his boots expand and he sinks into them up to his neck. Walking over Eclipse pats him on the head, �Welcome to the party.�
Shadow_watcher sighs, �O� well��
Katie gets to her feet. �Okay, show�s over. About dinner��
Kyra rises also, �I�m craving seafood.�
Luna_Faline moans, �Is that it? You can�t leave him there.�
Clarice nods her head, at Katie�s comment, �Now for that drink�� smiles at Finn.
Vin_Da_DM: Reaching down Eclipse pulls Shadow out and sets him on his feet. Tapping his foot he looks at the ripples, �Cough �em up!� The ripples spit out Shadow�s axes one at a time. Smirking Eclipse rejoins Luna, �Now, about that privacy.�
Clarice shouts back over her shoulder, �Why not, looks like a good place to leave him for awhile.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne chuckles, �Good show, now we eat!�
Luna_Faline takes his hand laughing, �That looked like fun,� as we turn away.
Kyra shakes her head, �All this sex. Makes a girl wishful.�
�Kyra!� Katie gasps.
Shadow_watcher picks up his axes where they lay, setting one on his back and one in his side. He picks up the wings and starts to walk with the party.
Vin_Da_DM: �Been millennia since I�ve done that one,� Eclipse says laughing.
Shadow_watcher: �If you think that is sex, you are sadly mistaken, miss.�
Kyra shrugs, �Oh�get off your soapbox, Mother. I�m not gonna go out and screw indiscriminately.�
Shadow_watcher looks at the wings as he gets close to Katie, the wings kind of glow. �Hmm, how weird.�
Katie: �Watch your mouth.� Katie grumbles, without much heat.
Vin_Da_DM: �It�s hardly proper, you have to at least buy them dinner first, kid.� Syne pats Kyra on the back jokingly.
Kyra turns to the dwarf. �No. That was not sex. That was just you getting pummeled. The sex will be once the doors shut.�
Luna_Faline purrs, �Millennia, huh? Aren�t we lucky to look so good at our ages?� smiling.
Shadow_watcher: �In my experience you have to marry first, like I once did.� His eyes kind of dim as he thinks of past happenings.
Katie shakes her head. �Oh? You DID say you were buying, right?� She winks and saunters off in search of food, with Kyra grinning and following.
Vin_Da_DM: �Oh yes, time has been most kind.� Eclipse smiles then leans over a gives Luna a quick kiss.
Shadow_watcher: �I�ve got to learn some new tricks. It seems that just old fashioned combat isn�t used much anymore,� he sighs.
Katie grins at Syne�s lack of response, figuring she FINALLY got the better of him, in their verbal sparring.
Luna_Faline wraps my arms around Eclipse as he kisses me, purring, �You want to risk Remy getting to see you take it for a grand tour? He�s already seen it go home,� winking.
Clarice smiles happily as Finn and her enter the eating establishment.
Katie chokes, stumbling a bit
Vin_Da_DM: Syne leans in close to Katie, �All you can eat, Kat.�
Kyra falls back a bit, walking slowly.

Katie: �Damn you.� Katie whispers furiously.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder notices Kyra walking slowly and moves to walk beside her, �Some day��
Shadow_watcher keeps following while strapping the wings to his back and opens a box. Pulls out a single figurine that looks just like DracBlue when he was but a tiny fluff ball. Walks up to Katie and hands it to her, �I think he would have wanted you to have it. I was supposed to give it to him when I got back,� and then hurriedly moves on.
Kyra raises a brow. �Yes, it has been.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne smirks as he continues walking.
Katie watches him for a moment, before she scurries to catch up. �One day I will get the last word, I swear,� she whispers crabbily.
Claron waves a hand to Finn and Clarice as they enter.
Cara sits directly across from Tabris and Claron pushing the food around on her plate.
Katie plops down at a table, resting her elbows on it.
Shadow_watcher continues walking looking for a place to get a drink, �Man, I�m parched. I haven�t had a drink in four hundred years.�

Claron: �Wonder what took them all so long to get here?� watching for Stryder.
Katie chews her lip as a thought crosses her mind.
