Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: Traveling through Gul-Qian space, the Ettik, eventually landed one of the moons of Zohar, the home planet of the Gul-Qian Republic. The Warriors were given some time before they landed on one would have to travel to the massive capital city of Auir where they would be summoned before Grand Illuminant, the Gul-Qian�s leading body.
Vin_Da_DM: Meanwhile, an energy based creature who had stowed away onboard the Ettik made his way out of the ship. Taking on a humanoid form it began to set in motion its plan to derail the Warriors attempts to make an alliance with the Gul-Qian.
Vin_Da_DM: Finn also made plans of his own, apparently taking council with Selenia and informing her he would make sure the alliance succeeded, at all costs. Finn also made mention of an unknown �her� whom the Warriors would need 'this power' in order to fight.
Vin_Da_DM: *Time passed: None*
Vin_Da_DM: Ettik continues to sit idly on the landing pad, though it�s low rumbling has gotten louder and steadier.
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
DracBlue takes out his claw. Retracting it out of his skin, he eats a bar of metal, sighs, then forgets what he was crying about and walks around the ship.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei watches out the window as the shuttle descends into the capital�s central transit station. With a soft sigh he watches the cityscape looming in every direction, �It�s been awhile��
Luna_Faline turns off the water and dries my tail off with a towel growling, �Damn Tewyn, nasty ass elf, I�ll never know why Clarice puts up with him.�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne raises his brow at Cara, �So, eating in or dining out?�
DracBlue comes to a random door, opens it and walks inside. Noticing the sound of thrumming he watches the thing sit there and beat.
Katie braids her hair, and wanders out to the galley, grabbing a cup of coffee and sipping it thoughtfully.
Clarice hangs the dress that Luna_Faline left in the closet, speaking softly to Tewyn as she does, �The other gallon of water will have to wait, methinks. I expect we will be required to see the Grand Illuminant soon. UNLESS you are ready for a little wet and wild��
Vin_Da_DM: �I guess she likes him enough to get past his...eccentricities.� Eclipse says with a shrug.
Vin_Da_DM: As the plated object thrums and pulses, Drac can swear it grows a fraction larger, increasing the amount of size it is taking up in the room.
Kyra scurries to catch up with Stryder, her cheeks still pink.
DracBlue: �What in the blue blazes?� as he watches curiously.
Cara looks back at Syne, �You going to trust me if I say dining out?�
Luna_Faline throws the towel down on the counter and opens the bathroom door. �Eccentricities? That�s giving him too much credit,� smiles and wraps my arms around Eclipse. �And from what I felt, he�s got nothing that would impress me.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder continues down the hallway, glancing over his shoulder at Kyra he smirks. �So, shall we have a look around this station?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse snickers, �For being an avatar of light and goodness, you can be quite blunt sometimes.�
Kyra smiles shyly and nods. �Sounds good.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I don�t know, what do you think? Can I trust you?� Syne says curiously waiting for her answer.
DracBlue gets a little closer and tries to touch the growing mass.
Vin_Da_DM: The metal is warm to the touch, but gives Drac a static shock when touched.
DracBlue: �Aww hell, static shock,� looks at his finger.
Vin_Da_DM: Continuing down the corridor, Stryder heads for the airlock, �So, anything else you�d like to share besides your love of cooking and citrus?�
Luna_Faline giggles, �Well, I like to get to the point.�
Kyra thinks for a moment. �I�ve got a perverted sense of humor, and I�m afraid of the dark.� She shrugs.
Claron moves in closer to Tabris, �I am the luckiest woman in the world to have you...I love you, too.� Kisses Tabris deeply.
Vin_Da_DM: A crab-bot, twice the size of Ettik�s normal ones crawls out from behind the large object. Delicately stepping across the surface it�s �eyes� look at Drac and it chitters at him. Clearly it didn�t like him touching it.
Cara smirks at Syne, �If I was you...I wouldn�t. Is that an honest enough answer for you?�
DracBlue blushes bright red and apologizes to it and walks out the room.
Vin_Da_DM: �Interesting,� Stryder smirks, �I enjoy oceans, pasta and generally have the same sarcastic nature as my father.�
Kyra�s face lights up. �Ocean? Me too. Though I haven�t seen one in a long, long time.�
DracBlue roams the ship some more loses himself in thought and starts talking out loud.
Vin_Da_DM: �It�ll do. Let�s have a look at what this place is offering,� Syne cays to Cara turning in place to start heading for the airlock.
Clarice doesn�t hear Tewyn answer her, glancing over her shoulder back at the bed and sees that Tewyn has fallen asleep. �Guess that answers my question,� as she heads into the bathroom.
Tabris: �And I you,� Tabris smiles brightly at Claron then glances out the window. �I suppose we can�t stay here forever. I doubt these illuminated whatever�s are very patient.�
DracBlue: �Maybe I need to slow down. They can�t seem to keep up with me�but if I slow down my third heart could die�but I�m not sure if that would be good for me in my current state.�
Vin_Da_DM: �So I�ve noticed, now that you�ve cleaned up, shall we?� Eclipse says to Luna.
Luna_Faline steps back from Eclipse, �I�m not sure we�re ready to face these leaders or judges, whatever they are,� turning to look at the altar.
Cara turns in place along with Syne and walks toward the airlock.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse wraps his arms around Luna�s waist, �We�ll face them together. And everyone will be there with us.�
Vin_Da_DM: �And if you get out of hand and decide to run away, I can always knock you out and cart you around like luggage,� Syne smirks at Cara.
Vin_Da_DM: Ducking into the docking arm connecting to the airlock Stryder looks at Kyra then ahead, �Time for another adventure��
DracBlue stretches a wing out and gets it caught in a random ship part. �Oh, for bloody hells sake!� He then pulls his wing out losing a feather or two and eats a bar to replace them.
Luna_Faline absentmindedly plays with my amulet. �That is another concern. Some of our group worries me as well.�
Katie nurses her coffee for a few more minutes, then finishes it off and sighs.
Claron: �I suppose you may be right about that, but then it seems to me�if they are in that big of a hurry we would have been ordered there ASAP,� reaching a hand over and sliding her fingers between his.
Vin_Da_DM: �The dark daughter?� Eclipse looks at Luna�s amulet from over her shoulder.
Luna_Faline sighs, �Her and others, maybe just a few of us would make a better impression?�
Kyra looks at Stryder, �Life is never dull around here, that�s for sure.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Something on your mind?� Finn�s voice seems to carry across the galley as he stands in the doorway looking over at Katie.
Clarice adjusts the water in the shower before stepping into it. Smiling contentedly as she lathers the loofah and begins to wash her body.
Vin_Da_DM: �Then which should represent us?� Eclipse moves to stand at Luna�s side.
Katie jumps a bit. �Yeah. Coming back here is just a bit�odd�since my memories have been returning.� She tries to smile.
Vin_Da_DM: �If life was dull, then there would definitely be something wrong,� Stryder says with a chuckled-sigh. As he and Kyra pass into the large terminal of the station he looks around. �Hmm��
DracBlue walks outside the ship to stretch his wings and flaps them about to get his blood pumping.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne looks at Cara as they reach the airlock, glancing down he notices Kyra and Stryder at the far end, �Looks like we aren�t the only one�s havin� a look-see.�
Luna_Faline looks up at Eclipse, meeting his eyes, �Well, what if some of our loose cannons decide to act out? Then what?�
Kyra looks at their surroundings curiously.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse sighs thinking about it, �Then it would be normal, wouldn�t it?�
Luna_Faline shakes my head, �Normal for us is not always a good thing, ya know�
Vin_Da_DM: Several light blue and purple skinned guards are stationed at several areas. A small group of them are managing a small line in front of to docking arms with several signs saying, �Zohar Shuttle� in different languages.
Cara glares as she sees Stryder and Kyra together. ~Enjoy it while you can...~
DracBlue: �I wonder if they have the jewel crafting race on this planet.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I know...but this Grand Illuminant should see all of us, errors and all.� Eclipse says with a confusing sigh, �I suggest we discuss this with everyone at least.�
Tabris: �Maybe it�s their way of giving us a little time before bringing the gavel down on us,� Tabris looks at Claron with a serious look.
Luna_Faline: �Now, how do you want us to manage that? Some of our warriors are rather busy at the moment. And I for one am not interrupting that again. It�s definitely your turn.�
Kyra, oblivious, steps closer to Stryder. �This place looks normal enough.�
Vin_Da_DM: ~Would that be jealousy whispering in my ear?~ Stryder glances over his shoulder quickly at Cara then back to Kyra. �Should we wait for the others?�
Claron: �Hmmm, last time the gavel went down on me...you ended up out ranking me,�
smirks at Tabris.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well...we can inform them of the meeting. Gathering them in person proves�� Eclipse looks at Luna and cracks a small grin, �Messy.�
Cara clenches her fist as she sees Kyra moving in closer to Stryder.
Vin_Da_DM: �Calm down, kiddo,� Syne eyes Cara�s clenched fist then glances ahead noting Stryder and Kyra.
Kyra: �Yeah, if you want.� Kyra gazes up at him, suddenly feeling an icy glare on her back, and deciding to make the most of it. She smiles sweetly back at Cara, then gives her a sympathetic look.
DracBlue keeps talking to himself as he walks to the shuttle Alexei used and looks at some of the languages looks for any that look familiar.
Luna_Faline shivers "You can inform them. I don't even want to get that close to him ever again"
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder moves over to an empty bench and sits down. Resting against it he looks up at Kyra, �Take a seat if you want.�
Cara smiles as she hears Stryder�s voice in her mind. ~Jealousy...ha...more like a threat or promise the way I see it.~
Kyra settles next to Stryder, and busies herself finger-combing her hair.
Vin_Da_DM: A majority of the languages on the signs Drac can�t read. Common is one of the larger printed, but in smaller text the soft curves of simple Elvish are littered among the various lines of text.
Clarice finishes rinsing the remaining suds out of her hair and off her body, turns the shower off and grabs a towel.
DracBlue: �Damn, no jewel crafting race. Hmmm�but there are elves that come here apparently. Hmmm�maybe I should go find the one called Finn and see if he knows where I could find the jewel crafting race.� Then he wanders back onto the ship looking for Finn.
Vin_Da_DM: �Understandable. Facing lost memories can be troubling,� Finn says as he slides into the seat next to Katie.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne exits the docking arm and looks over at Cara, �Just going to stand there, kid?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse opens the door to their quarters and looks over at Luna, �Let�s try heading into the station and see if they�re there.�
Cara pauses for a second longer then follows Syne, �Something caught my eye...sorry.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m sure it did,� Syne shakes his head then walks over towards Stryder and Kyra, �We all hangin� out here and going as a group?�
Luna_Faline nods and steps out into the hall with Eclipse, �I guess we just have to hope for the best now.�
Tabris: �And now, ranks not an issue,� Tabris nods quietly, �Everyone�s probably waiting on us.�
DracBlue finishes searching half the ship. �Dear Lord, is he somewhere normal then?� Looks into the galley.
Katie nods. �So much has happened to me since I left here.�
DracBlue whispers to himself, �Damn, he�s busy. Hmmm�what to do...can�t stay here much longer��
Clarice dresses then quietly slips out of her and Tewyn�s room, �Got to remember to thank Luna,� as she heads for the galley.
Vin_Da_DM: �You don�t have to stand there talking to yourself, just ask.� Finn says to Drac without even shifting his gaze away from Katie.
DracBlue looks shocked for a tic then just blurts out, �Have you come across the gem crafters in your travels? I�ve heard great stories, but never seen them.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I always do,� Eclipse says with a certain honesty in his voice, �With you by my side, that hope seems brighter.�
Claron chuckles, �True...on both counts. Lead the way, my love.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Gem crafters?� Finn raises a brow to Katie then continues with Drac, �You�re looking for somebody are you?�
Luna_Faline walks with Eclipse smiling, �What do you know about these people? Do you think they will join us?�
Tabris takes Claron�s hand in his and leads them into the hallway heading for the airlock.
Katie shrugs, looking amused.
DracBlue: �Yeah, there about yay tall,� holds his hand up to his thigh. �They have funny accents, its always something like aye, but there really good miners and good people.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I don�t know very much, actually. For all their power, they tend to be on the secretive side,� Eclipse shrugs as they walk.
Kyra continues to watch Cara out of the corner of her eye, while smiling at Stryder. �So, how old ARE you, by the way?�
Cara stands quietly next to Syne, purposely thinking about how differently things would have been if Kabal was still with her.
Vin_Da_DM: �Ahh, the Mountain-kin. Finding a dwarf on this planet would be quite a feat,� Finn glances back at Drac, �Why are you looking for one, if I may inquire?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Well...I�m not sure when my birthday is, but I�d guess around 17 by now,� Stryder�s voice is uncertain, giving some truth to his words about not knowing.
DracBlue: �Well, they used to be good friends of the Quickling�s. Then one day most of them just disappeared�supposedly there was some war. And well, long story short�we never saw them again. That was well over...what 300 years ago? Naww, closer to two hundred and fifty.�
Luna_Faline slips my arm thru Eclipses, �Well, I hope we can convince them to help us.�
Vin_Da_DM Syne crosses his arms and glances around at the various aliens going about their business in the terminal.
Kyra looks surprised. �I just turned seventeen about three months ago.� She purses her lips for a moment. �How can you not know when your birthday is? Surely your parents have told you?�
Clarice enters the galley smiling radiantly as she moves over to the replicator and punches in the appropriate button for a peach.
Katie smiles warmly, �Well, so you finally came up for air�� She winks at Clarice.
Vin_Da_DM: �I see�� Finn nods to Drac then shifts his glance to Clarice for a moment, then back to Drac. �With all the people I sense, a dwarf could very well be down there,� Looking to Katie he nods, �Seems like everyone is gathering outside in the station.�
DracBlue: �Well, thank you. I should go check.�
Clarice chuckles, �Think I wore his grey ass out for the first time in a long time.�
DracBlue bows to the Finn, then walks to where the station would be and waits for the ship to come.
Katie giggles, then turns to Finn. �I suppose we should join them, then.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Let�s just say I didn't get the chance,� Stryder looks at Kyra.
Clarice�s eyes catch Finn�s glance and suddenly she feels like she should have kept that comment to herself.
Vin_Da_DM: Finn stands as quietly as he walks, �We should.�
Kyra: �Hmm. Okay.� Kyra senses this is a subject best left alone for now. �So how much trouble you think we�re going to be in?� She fidgets and fusses with her hair.
Clarice: �Mind if I tag along with both of you? Tewyn is out like a light.�
Katie also rises to her feet, then shuffles after Finn. �Sure. Come on,� she says over her shoulder.
Cara: ~In as much trouble as I can muster up.~
Vin_Da_DM: �So do I,� Eclipse says as he and Luna walk down the docking arm, looking ahead he notices some of the group already gathering.
DracBlue starts pacing next to the docking area.
DracBlue starts flapping his wings.
Luna_Faline squeezes Eclipse�s arm and points a claw at Cara, whispurring softly, �Oh, goody.�
Clarice follows behind Finn and Katie.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not too much, I hope,� Stryder says to Kyra, giving Cara a look. ~They may not think twice about killing you, Cara.~
DracBlue starts flapping enough to make a breeze.
Vin_Da_DM: Eyeing Drac, Syne sighs, �Impatient much?�
DracBlue: �Can�t stay still or a part of my body will die.�
Vin_Da_DM: Several of the guards next to the shuttle start looking at Drac.
DracBlue does a back flip and in mid flip touches the ground with a hand, then finishes the flip and starts flapping his wings again.
Luna_Faline watches Drac�s erratic behavior. �What are we supposed to do with him?� asking Eclipse under my breath.
Vin_Da_DM: The arriving shuttle from the planet docks against the waiting docking arm and passengers begin to file out. A small group of pale skinned angelic looking women exit as a group, the one in the lead glancing around as if looking for someone.
DracBlue stops dead in his tracks.
DracBlue face starts twitching, then he moves his wings again.
Vin_Da_DM: Claron and Tabris reach the airlock at the same time as Finn and the others. Finn eyes the two of them and nods, �Everyone�s here...except Tewyn and Shinta.�
DracBlue moves his wings a little less fast, but moves his hands back and forth under his wings.
Vin_Da_DM: The leader of the group of three asks a guard something, to which he points towards your group.
Cara looks at Stryder. ~So you keep telling me...~
Kyra: �Tell me something new,� Kyra thinks to herself. �Those two are never around when we need them.�
DracBlue wraps his wings around him, but keeps tapping his foot and swinging his arms underneath.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m sure they�re exhausted after their exercise.� Tabris looks at Claron and smirks slyly.
Katie stiffens, �I beg your pardon.� She laughs, �Shinta didn�t get any of THAT exercise.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Aside from sedation?� Eclipse whispers to Luna, �I guess we�ll just have to keep an eye on him.�
DracBlue: �Well, if you wanna get technical, I bet remy gives him all the details.�
Katie shuffles a bit behind Finn and Clarice, away from Tab.
Clarice blushes as she hears Tabris and Katie and remembers Tewyn mentioning Remy�s uninvited presence.
Vin_Da_DM: A figure in brown robe with a hood concealing it�s head bumps into Drac, looking at him for a second Drac feels a sharp pain in his chest as if something is being removed. The figure disappears into a crowd of people as quickly as it arrived.
DracBlue screams out, his claws extend and he runs after the hooded figure.
Luna_Faline chuckles, �Sedation might be a good option,� then jumps at the sound of Drac�s scream. �O�Goddess what now?�
DracBlue drops to the ground in what looks like utter exhaustion.
Vin_Da_DM: Drac finds nothing but an empty brown robe lying on the floor. From outside the station the energy being that had been hiding on the Ettik chuckles ethereally, holding a small organ in it�s hand it crushes it, �One down��
DracBlue looks at Luna_Faline, his eyes screaming, but his lips not moving.
Vin_Da_DM: Two of the station�s guards move over to Drac looking concerned. One speaks, �Sir? Is something wrong? Do you require assistance?�
Luna_Faline lets go Eclipse and runs after Drac. I stop next to him, �What�s wrong?�
DracBlue looks at them and cannot speak. Nods his head.
Vin_Da_DM: The group of three angelic-like women move over towards you. The leader studies everyone, giving a frown to Drac, then looks at everyone, �Do I address the Warriors?�
Claron nods her head at the leader, �You do.�
Katie: �Only if yer gonna stick a stamp on my ass,� Katie murmurs.
Luna_Faline reaches down lays a paw on Drac�s shoulder looking in his eyes trying to figure out what is wrong. �Can I help you?�
DracBlue musters enough strength to say, �One of my hearts was taken.�
Vin_Da_DM: The guard motions at the second who rushes off. The first guard looks at Luna then at Drac, �You�re his traveling companion? I�ve sent for the medic.�
Cara watches the angelic looking woman and cringes.
Luna_Faline glances over at Eclipse quickly then looks back down at Drac whispurring �One? How? Who?�
DracBlue points towards the ship and falls asleep.
Cara: ~I MOST certainly am not one of these Warriors.~
Vin_Da_DM: �The Illuminant requests your presence. Are you prepared?� The lead woman surveys the group again.
Luna_Faline catches Drac as he passes out, �Can we take him back to our med bay? We can take care of him there.�
Claron glances at Tabris then back at the lead woman, �As prepared as we are ever going to be.�
Vin_Da_DM: A shorter purple-skinned alien with tentacles on his face and back arrives next to Drac and the guard. Giving the guard a nod, he looks at Luna. �What seems to be the problem?�
Clarice finishes the peach she was eating and glances around for some place to dispose of the pit. �Too bad the feathered garbage disposal is temporarily out of service.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Your companion is injured, if you wish to wait until his injuries are healed you may,� the angelic woman says to Claron.
Luna_Faline shakes my head, �I�m really not sure, he said one of his hearts was taken.�
Claron: �I suggest we let the medical facilities here deal with him.� glances around at the other Warriors, �That�s if the others agree..�
Vin_Da_DM: The medic nods and positions his hands over Drac, a soft glow comes from his hands as he shakes his head, �For missing a heart he seems to be a good condition.�
Luna_Faline looks down at Drac, hiding my face from the stranger as a tear threatens to escape. �I�ve never had a ward I didn�t know how to heal,� I purrsigh softly as I hold him.
Vin_Da_DM: Grabbing a vial from a med kit, the medic wafts it in front of Drac�s nose.
DracBlue jumps up and is instantly in flight, his claws extended.
Vin_Da_DM: Slipping the vial back into the med kit, the medic looks up at Drac with a nod, �I�d say he�s in stable condition now.�
DracBlue falls to the ground and retracts his claws.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne raises his brow at Drac, �So...that means he�s fine now right?�
DracBlue rubs his chest while standing very still.
Vin_Da_DM: Finn looks at the angelic woman and nods, �I believe we�re ready to go now.�
DracBlue wraps his wings around him and stands very still looking at the angelic woman.
DracBlue then looks at the purple skinned alien and nods graciously.
Vin_Da_DM: In response to Finn the women turn around and head for the shuttle, �Please follow us then, Warriors.� Everyone waiting in line for the shuttle moves away allowing them pass as they board the shuttle.
Luna_Faline looks up from where I�m kneeling and takes a deep breath. Then slowly stands up and moves back to Eclipses side.
DracBlue follows as ordered.
Vin_Da_DM: The medic nods back and heads off back to wherever it was he came from.
Vin_Da_DM: �Looks like we�re going to meet the leaders very soon,� Eclipse says to Luna as he rejoins him.
DracBlue: �Well, that solves my having to move so much, but at what a cost,� he whispers to himself.
Claron and Tabris follow behind the lead woman.
Katie falls into step behind Clarice and Finn.
Luna_Faline nods and takes Eclipse�s hand, �I just don�t know what to do with that one. He worries me to no end.�
Vin_Da_DM: The shuttle is completely empty save the women and your group. Clearly this shuttle isn�t doing it�s standard run this time.
Kyra stands and heads to the shuttle, looking back at Stryder over her shoulder, she nearly collides with someone. �Oh. Excuse me. Sorry.�
DracBlue whispers to Luna_Faline, �Thank you for your concern.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder watches Kyra as he follows her to the shuttle.
Luna_Faline bows my head as Drac whispers to me
Cara�s eyes grow large as she scans the people around her and waits to follow the others, ~Stop messing with me, Stryder.~ Then realizes that didn�t sound at all like something Stryder would say.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks at Cara with a raised brow, a look of confusion on his face.
DracBlue: �Well, at least I�ll get to see if the� he uses his fingers in quote signs, �Mountain-kin� people are down here. �
Cara�s thoughts then wonder about the question posed to her.
DracBlue then looks at the angelic woman. �Excuse me�may I ask you a question?�
Vin_Da_DM: The shuttle doors close and it undocks smoothly, beginning to fly it�s way towards Zohar�s surface. The lead angelic woman turns from the two with her and eyes your group. �Do you have any questions before we arrive?�
DracBlue: �Just one. Have you seen any Mountain-kin on the surface of your planet?�
Clarice chuckles to herself, �I saw plenty of �mounting� not so long ago,� she whispers softly.
DracBlue glares at Clarice.
Katie groans, but smiles.
Luna_Faline sits down carefully, making sure my coat covers the sai strapped to my thigh.
Vin_Da_DM: �Many travelers visit Zohar from every corner of the galaxy.� The woman looks at Drac, �I�m afraid I do not know about any of them in specific.�
DracBlue sighs.
Kyra sits down in a seat, picking at her nails.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse sits next to Luna and rests his hand on hers, leaning in close he questions her in a whisper, �So, anything you want to ask our hosts?�
DracBlue: �Well, I don�t suppose any of the old friends we had would be alive anyway�that was two hundred and fifty years ago. They had such short life spans.�
Katie: Choosing a seat, Katie settles into it, then leans her head back and closes her eyes.
Cara looks around the shuttle at everyone as the voice crawls through her mind.
Vin_Da_DM: �See anything good?� Syne says softly to Katie as he sits next to her.
Luna_Faline studies his hand on top of my paw, �Aside from, can we go home now? Not really, I�ll save my breath for the big guys.�
Katie: Not opening her eyes, Katie grins, �That would be telling, now wouldn�t it?�
DracBlue sighs to himself, �And I was so looking forward to our next liaison with them. Its too bad, they almost made me a decent jewel crafter.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Why do girls do that?� Stryder watches Kyra picking her nails, �Can they really be that dirty?�
Cara eyes Kyra, then looks over towards DracBlue before her eyes stop on Clarice, �What happened to Father? Why isn�t he here?�
Vin_Da_DM: �It would, but that doesn�t stop me from wonderin�,� Syne smiles at Katie.
DracBlue: �I did punch him a few times before she had her way with him,� he looks away.
Kyra stops with a guilty look. �Well, at least I quit biting them. It�s a start.� She looks at Stryder. �Nervous habit. My mother always yelled at me about it.�
Katie opens her eyes and smiles at him.
Vin_Da_DM: �Are some of your party not present?� The angelic woman looks at Cara overhearing her, �They shall be sent for then.�
Luna_Faline shivers as a cold chill runs down my spine �I have a really bad feeling right now,� whispurring to Eclipse as I look around the group slowly.
Vin_Da_DM: �Ahh, well I won�t yell at you for it,� Stryder smirks at Kyra then looks at his own finger nails.
Clarice looks at Cara, �He decided to stay on the ship,� she answers and leaves it at that.
Vin_Da_DM: �Enjoyed the dance?� Syne looks at Katie, �I overheard the music when I was walking by.�
Katie: �I was remembering a few things.� Katie sighs, then looks at her lap.
Katie wrinkles her brow, �The dance got interrupted several times.�
DracBlue sits down, closes his eyes and sits completely still. Then sighs, �I guess it won�t be so bad.� Smiles broadly.
Kyra looks at Stryder�s hands, feeling a strange sensation in the pit of her stomach.
Vin_Da_DM: �Sorry to hear that,� Syne studies her face as she speaks, �Remembering anything good?�
Vin_Da_DM: �You too?� Eclipse looks into Luna�s eyes directly, �I don�t like it when we get these feelings.�
Katie: �Not so much,� Katie frowns, �I was thinking back to my �Black Widow� days.�
Cara: ~Suppose I could make him suffer like he has made me suffer.~
Vin_Da_DM: �Black Widow, eh? Sounds exciting,� Syne leans in a little closer to Katie, �You�ll have to tell me about it sometime.�
Luna_Faline holds his gaze, �I don�t either. My skin is crawling and my nape is standing on end,� I growl softly.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks over at Cara again with a curious look.
Vin_Da_DM: Finn perks a brow from his spot near the front of the shuttle.
DracBlue looks over at Finn, �What�s up?�
Vin_Da_DM: �We will be arriving shortly,� the head angelic woman says as the rolling hills of the city come into full view outside the shuttle windows.
Vin_Da_DM: Looking at Drac Finn shakes his head, �Nothing��
Katie shakes her head slightly, but has to smile. �Yeah. I�ll fill you in on my dark and dirty past one of these days, Rogue.� She leans her head against his shoulder for a moment, then straightens up again. �I�m a bit worried about this meeting.�
DracBlue: �You omnipotent people and your secrets.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m not omnipotent, merely more in tune with the galaxy,� Finn corrects Drac while glancing at him.
DracBlue: �Bah�if your not, then I would like to see one.�
Cara catches Stryder�s look, then quickly lowers her head.
Kyra shakes off her daydream and chews her lip, looking away.
Vin_Da_DM: The shuttle zooms over the city, patches of clouds hide sections of the large forest with grouped areas of structures scattered all over. A large crystalline shaped building looms to one side as the shuttle steers towards it.
DracBlue looks out a window.
DracBlue: �That�s pretty.�
DracBlue: �Its too bad I can�t go flying.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Looks like we�re almost there,� Eclipse says noticing the scenery outside.
Katie closes her eyes again, drifting a bit, then flinches.
Vin_Da_DM: The shuttle pulls along side a large platform carved out of the massive crystals that make up this building. The door slides open and the angelic women file out.
Luna_Faline looks away from Eclipse, towards the window. Trying to shake the feeling of impending doom.
DracBlue walks outside as well, but flies straight up in one spot to get a view and looks around.
Luna_Faline stands up and steps out from my seat, �Shall we go and face the tribunal?�
Vin_Da_DM: The large crystal building stretches out towards the sky behind Drac, the rest of the forested city stretches outward from the building, clearly making it the center of this city.
Luna_Faline walks out of the shuttle and looks around, waiting for the others to follow.
DracBlue looks down at the others and around the others to see if he can spot any familiar species.
Kyra stands up and stretches, reaching her arms above her head, then walks out of the shuttle.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse stands next to Luna glancing up at the massive building, �Impressive, I�ll give them that.�
Luna_Faline shakes my head, �All that glass won�t be much protection in an attack.�
Claron sits watching Cara, �Tewyn�s daughter seems awfully preoccupied to me. I wonder what is going on inside that pretty head of hers?� whispers softly to Tabris.
Vin_Da_DM: �The structure is carved out of a natural crystal formation, I assure you it is quite safe,� the angelic woman comments to Luna as she walks towards a large carved door set into the wall at the end of the platform.
Luna_Faline looks at Eclipse.
Luna_Faline looks at Eclipse for a moment, then follows the ladies thru the door.
Vin_Da_DM: Drac notices only his group, the angelic women, and a set of guards flanking the large door on the platform. City streets below the platform buzz with crowds, but are indistinguishable from this height.
DracBlue lands and follows the group inside.
Claron moves out of the shuttle along with Tabris.
DracBlue takes a close inspection of the crystal to see if its a material he�s used to seeing.
Katie opens her eyes, rises quietly, and exits the shuttle, following the group.
Tabris whistles as he follows besides Claron, �They sure do like to show off.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder walks near Kyra, keeping his gaze shifting between the group and Cara.
DracBlue looks around in amazement, �The gem crafters had to have carved these.�
Vin_Da_DM: Finn waits quietly for the others to exit the shuttle before stepping off himself.
Clarice nudges Cara as she heads for the exit, �Time to join the others outside the ship.�
Cara startles as Clarice nudges her. ~Okay, I will~ as she moves toward the exit.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne walks alongside Katie looking around as the angelic trio break up. The leader continues to walk forward, the other two disappear into side hallways.
DracBlue follow the angelic woman, then looks like he�s uncomfortable.
Cara glances at Finn as she steps off the shuttle.
Vin_Da_DM: A set of slender yet muscular aliens walk down the wall to either side of the group as you clear a crystal arch. They quietly take the rear of the group, their glowing singular eye looking more through you then at you.
Luna_Faline looks around the hallways as I follow the leader.
Vin_Da_DM: Finn glances at the two new aliens then looks forward again.
DracBlue looks even more uncomfortable as he keeps following the angelic woman.
Cara observes the position of each Warrior.
Vin_Da_DM: �Doing okay, flyboy?� Syne says to Drac as he looks at him.
Katie sighs softly, her chest getting tight.
DracBlue: �Ehhh� I�ll live, but I still don�t get some of the things you told me about. One of those things seems to be happening to me,� he says very quietly.
Vin_Da_DM: Syne chuckles then looks over at Katie, �Flyboy�s got the hots for our tour guide,� he whispers.
DracBlue elbows Syne and then wonders why he did it, looks confused.
Katie snickers, �Hormones are a bitch, don�t you know.�
Kyra: ~You'd better believe it~ Kyra thinks.
DracBlue looks back and glares at Katie.
Vin_Da_DM: The angelic woman enters a large ballroom sized chamber. Looking at you she bows, �Please wait here while the council chambers are prepared.�
Katie winks at Drac.
DracBlue: �You do realize you�re evil?�
Vin_Da_DM: She heads for a set of ceiling high double doors and goes through them, without them opening. You notice two walls of the ballroom are windowed with large liquid tanks on the other side.
DracBlue: �But in a nice way of course,� smirks at Katie.
Cara notices the others seem to be enjoying themselves and without much forethought brings her hand up and rubs her forehead. Quickly she drops her hand from her forehead and brings both arms up, sending multiple blue bolts of fire at Kyra and Clarice.
Katie laughs softly, �Nah. It happens to most of us.�
Katie: �More often than you know,� Katie thinks to herself.
Kyra: �Repeatedly,� Kyra murmurs.
DracBlue extends his wings and intercepts Cara�s fire and cringes at the fire on his wings.
�OW! That hurt.�
Kyra yelps, �You bitch!� and dives at Cara.
DracBlue: �Damn, good thing they are fire resistant.�
Cara dodges Kyra and returns her flaming bolts of blue at Kyra.
DracBlue lifts Kyra up and holds her out of reach from Cara.
DracBlue: �Stop! We�re in front of those people.�
Luna_Faline jumps out of the way growls, �O�Goddess, not now.�
Kyra: �Lemme go. I�m going to rip her in two!� Kyra growls.
DracBlue wraps his arms around her in a hug and says, �Calm down�I�m the one who got hurt not you.�
Vin_Da_DM: A purple energy cloud appears in front of the double door. It takes form into a figure wrapped in cloth, leaking purple energy streams from the cracks.
Katie: �What is your problem?� Katie hisses at Cara and Kyra. �You will shame us.�
Luna_Faline draws my sai quickly turning toward the purple cloud hissing, �I knew it.�
Kyra: �She�s a scum-sucking demon. That�s what is my problem.� Kyra huffs.
Clarice feels the sting of one of the bolts as it barely grazes her shoulder, �Oh, you little bitch,� as she turns to face Cara.
Katie: Well�knock it off, both of you. Or I�m going to tie you together for the next month so you�ll have to pee together.� Katie sighs and turns to the doors.
Vin_Da_DM: �Pleasure to meet you, Warriors.� The being raises his hand and encases everyone in a purple glow that seems to constrict movement. Sliding across the room he dispatches the two alien guards with a large energy blade.
DracBlue: �How do you know that something else isn�t involved? She hasn�t tried attacking you before now. Why would she start now?�
Vin_Da_DM: Cara is unaffected by the field, the creature slides over to her before sealing off the room�s hallway entrance with a energy field.
Vin_Da_DM: �Which ones have you chosen?� Nexus looks at Cara then motions his hands at you like your meat at a butcher�s shop.
DracBlue tries to move.
Vin_Da_DM: �Sonuva bitch�� Syne curses as he struggles to move.
DracBlue tries to use his full strength to move.
Katie: �Dammit!� Katie groans, struggling.
Luna_Faline roars trying to send my sai into the creature.
Vin_Da_DM: �Cara, do the right thing.� Finn looks at Cara with stern and serious look on his face.
Kyra trembles, knowing what the answer will be.
Cara smiles as she looks at the Warriors encased in the purple bubble, �The feathered one, the young honey brown haired girl and last, but not least, the blonde whore of my father!� Pointing her finger in the direction of each one of them.
DracBlue: �Well, that�s the last time I try to befriend someone.�
Vin_Da_DM: �How amusing,� Nexus motions to Drac, Kyra and Clarice drawing them closer to Cara.
Cara looks at Finn after she has made her choices. �Mother would be proud.�
Vin_Da_DM: Several guards begin assaulting the energy field from the hallway, but seem to be having little effect on it.
Kyra panics ~OMG I knew it! I�m dead. And I never even got to�~
Vin_Da_DM: �Pick me, Cara...leave them out of it.� Stryder shouts at her.
DracBlue tries harder to move. If nothing else then to strangle the purple man.
Vin_Da_DM: �Shall I keep them immobile? Or perhaps let them go to make it more sporting?� Nexus examines Cara�s three choices as if a man studying art.
Cara chuckles, �No, Stryder...I am afraid that�s out of the question.�
Kyra�s eyes well up with unshed tears, but she puts on the bravest face she can.
Tabris growls at Cara, �Like mother like daughter��
DracBlue whispers to Kyra, �No regrets,� as his eyes shimmer.
Cara shakes her head, �I prefer they stay immobile.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Then by your leave,� Nexus steps back leaving Cara to stand in front of the three.
DracBlue extends one of his claws, piercing a wing to make it appear like he caused serious damage to himself.
Claron : �What did you expect? Look what she did to our Clarissa.�
Vin_Da_DM: Finn closes his eyes and begins to breath calmly.
Luna_Faline loosens my hold on the sai and keeps trying to send it flying into Nexus.
Kyra: �Regrets? Oh, I�ve got plenty. Like not killing that cow in her sleep.� Kyra grits her teeth, then strays a look at Stryder, her eyes shimmering.
DracBlue: �I meant for me,� as it looks like his eyes are turning black.
DracBlue starts emanating a red aura.
Katie: �I�d half like to kill her myself,� Katie growls.
DracBlue starts emanating a deeper dark blood red aura.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder narrows his gaze at Cara, getting a extremely angry look on his face. ~I�ll rip you apart if you touch her or my aunt!~
Luna_Faline looks at Eclipse.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse watches Luna as she works on her sai.
Kyra takes a deep breath, suddenly calm. �If killing me makes you feel better, then do it. But do not drag innocent people into your twisted little game.�
Cara looks in the eyes of each Warrior, lingering longest on Stryder�s eyes. �Prepare to meet your destinies, Warriors��
Vin_Da_DM: Nexus chuckles lightly ethereally and walks over to Luna. Reaching out he grabs her sai and looks at it, �A divine weapon, splendid crafting, much to dangerous for a simple creature such as you.�
DracBlue eyes turn red as rage takes his body over, waves of red aura emanating from him.
Cara: Without blinking an eye, she raises both hands, turns quickly and shoots huge blue bolts from all her fingers at Nexus.
Luna_Faline calls on the Goddess silently, �Help us, Mistress, use the sai against him.�
Katie gasps.
Kyra stares.
Vin_Da_DM: Nexus turns and holds Luna�s sai out at the bolts. The sai deflects them sending them scattered across the room, gliding across the floor he stabs Cara in the chest with it, then thrusts his hand at her sending her flying into the glass one of the liquid tanks, cracking it.
Katie: �Like father like daughter indeed, it seems.� Katie looks bemused, �A double agent.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Betrayer!� Nexus shouts, his voice echoing across the room. Turning he looks at the rest of you, �Now all of you shall die!�
Luna_Faline wills the sai to fly from Cara�s chest into Nexus.
DracBlue: �Coward� too afraid to fight us normally. Have to pervert a friend�wow�what a little bitch,� he snickers.
Vin_Da_DM: As Luna�s sai sinks into Nexus he chuckles and pulls it out, �Is that the best you can do?� Nexus tosses the sai to the ground.
Cara screams out as she feels her chest being impaled and the sai then flying back out of her. Clutching her chest, she feels herself hit the glass and slides to the ground.
DracBlue: �I bet you even have to do this to the women you like just to get them to talk to you,� he smiles.
Vin_Da_DM: �No...it�s not,� Finn opens his eyes as his body goes transparent blue and he phases through Nexus�s energy field. Reforming to his normal self Finn eyes him directly, �You�ll find me harder to control.�
Katie blinks, �Nice one.�
Luna_Faline calls the sai to return to my paw as I watch Finn.
Kyra faints and goes limp in her field.
DracBlue retracts his claw as he finds Kyra go limp into his arms. He seems to calm down and the aura goes away.
Cara gasps as she sees the blood oozing from her chest.
Vin_Da_DM: Finn takes several steps towards Nexus, on the final step Nexus is sent flying back through the air crashing into the liquid tank, breaking the glass and causing the water to wash across the room. Finn raises one hand gathering all the water together, �Clarice, ice.�
Clarice hears Finn and begins to concentrate on the water turning it to a solid hunk of ice.
Kyra�s eyes flutter, �Is it over, Kyn?� she whispers weakly.
Vin_Da_DM: �Amusing...you think to stop me with a block of ice,� Nexus rises from the broken tank chuckling.
DracBlue: �I�m not Kyn, but I do think so,� he says kind of confused.
Tabris: �Kick his ass, Finn!� Tabris calls out.
DracBlue: �Or maybe not,� he sighs.
Clarice feels her anger building as she concentrates on sending the huge ice block hurling at him.
Vin_Da_DM: With Finn�s help the ice block begins to move towards Nexus, and unfortunately for him Finn causes it shatter into icicle spears, so numerous that they nearly block the view of their intended target. You can hear energy disperse as the wall becomes a pincushion for the ice shards.
Vin_Da_DM: The energy fields holding everyone disperse.
Luna_Faline sends the sai flying into Nexus as he can�t see.
DracBlue holds up Kyra.
Katie falls to the floor, stunned.
Cara begins to shiver.
Kyra sags against Drac, her eyes opening to take in the change of status.
Claron and Clarice both rush over to Cara.
Vin_Da_DM: Luna�s sai sails into the mass of icicles melting them with the white flare of energy. It dies out and a drops of water drip from the holes in the wall inside the tank.
Luna_Faline runs over to Cara and covers her chest wound with my paws growling as I get wet.
Vin_Da_DM: Finn takes a deep breath, �He�s gone��
Luna_Faline looks up at Finn, �Gone for now? Or for good?�
DracBlue just lifts Kyra up and walks over to Katie.
DracBlue: �You ok?�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne crouches down next to Katie and looks at Drac.
Cara through trembling lips whispers, �I hope I did the r-r-right t-t-thing.�
DracBlue: �I tried, but my aura didn�t work. Now my wing is bleeding. Sorry.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m not certain�� Finn looks at Luna then shifts his gaze as the group of guards from the hallway pour into the room. �It�s fine now...there�s no threat to your leaders any longer.�
Katie blinks, looking dazed. �I have no clue.� She looks at Syne, �What the hell just happened here? One minute we�re all going to die, and we�re wishing we could take Cara with us�and the next she becomes a hero? I think I�m having a nightmare.�
Luna_Faline heals Cara�s chest wound. �Yes, you did the right thing.�
DracBlue: �Hmm�well, I�m sorry I doubted her for one.�
Vin_Da_DM: � �Fraid not, Kat,� Syne rubs his head, �It�s all real.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder lowers his head and turns away from Cara and those around her.
Clarice: �Do believe your display will make your father proud.�
Kyra struggles to stand on her own, looking over at Cara in wonder. �Don�t tell me I�m going to have to like you.� She whispers oh-so-quietly.
Tabris stretches a bit, �Phew...any longer and I was afraid my circulation would be cut off.�
DracBlue gently sets her down.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks over at Cara, �Seems we have a new Warrior in our ranks.�
DracBlue walks to the side of the room holding his wing mumbling something about his heart.
Luna_Faline moves from Cara to Drac, covers Drac�s wing with my paw. �I think you should follow your heart,� looking at Kyra.
Clarice offers a hand to help Cara stand up.
Katie shakes her head, �Two generations of them turning hero unexpectedly�� she pales, �I think I�m going to throw up.�
Cara looks at Kyra, �You don�t have to like me.�
Vin_Da_DM: Finn looks at the guards as they begin to secure the room. On the other side of the room in the intact tank, one of the large whale-like creature swims into view glancing at the room with curiosity.
Kyra bites her lip. �I think I do,� she says grudgingly.
DracBlue: �Thanks Luna,� then he sits down.
Luna_Faline looks around for any other wounds.
Katie sits up, then tries to struggle to her feet.
DracBlue mumbles to himself, �What did Luna mean by that to her I wonder?�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne looks at Katie, �Not right here I hope...the room�s already a mess.�
Katie rolls her eyes, still pale.
Luna_Faline brushes my coat off and looks around for my sai, holding out my paw for it.
Cara turns her gaze back to Clarice, �Is it true what Father said about Mother and Aunt RD did to you?�
Vin_Da_DM: Luna�s sai gracefully glides out from the broken tank, sailing into her waiting paw.
Luna_Faline sighs with relief at not losing it again, turning to watch Cara and Clarice.
Katie: �Help me up, smartass,� Katie groans.
Clarice nods her head, �Every word of it...unfortunately.�
DracBlue pulls out one of the metal bars he put in the bag and sticks it partially into his mouth chews on it, finds it totally disgusting and spits it out. �What in the holy hell?�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne reaches down and pulls Katie to her feet with relative ease, �That�s Mr. Smartass.�
DracBlue looks totally confused.
Cara lowers her head as she hears Clarice�s reply.
Katie leans against the wall, still looking more than a little confused. She holds her stomach and sighs.
Tabris: �Finally finding out that metal ain�t that appetizing?� Tabris chuckles patting Drac on the shoulder as he walks past heading for Claron.
DracBlue realizes what Tabris said and cries.
Claron watches Clarice with Cara, turning she moves over to Stryder and wraps an arm around him, �What�s troubling you, son?�
Luna_Faline moves to stand with Eclipse. �Well, we�ve made an impression I�m sure.�
Kyra walks away, leaning her forehead against the wall.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks at the whale-creature as it swims off then stares blankly at his reflection. Noticing Claron�s reflection on the glass he sighs heavily, �She did it...I had so much doubt��
Kyra: �You win.� Kyra whispers.
Tabris moves over to Claron and Stryder resting a hand on his son�s shoulder, �You�d be surprised how much people can change.�
Luna_Faline shakes my head and whispurrs, �These empaths are going to be the death of us yet.�
Vin_Da_DM: �What impression that is, I don�t know.� Eclipse shrugs a bit, unsure of what is going to happen, �Fighting in their waiting room isn�t exactly a highlight on our resume.�
Claron smiles as Tabris nears them, �Don�t dwell on the doubt, son. It�s not like she made it easy for any one of us to trust her. We all had our doubts concerning her.�
Vin_Da_DM: Finn speaks quietly to himself, �I�ve done what I can. The rest will be up to them.�
DracBlue looks up and says to Syne, �I�m losing myself. I don�t know what I am anymore,� as he gets up and tears fall from him.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m still not sure I can�� Stryder looks past the reflection of his family into the blue water.
Vin_Da_DM: �Welcome to the universe, kid.� Syne rests a hand Drac�s shoulder, �Discovering who you are is one of the biggest battles.�
Katie: �Amen to that.� Katie says softly.
DracBlue: �I knew who I was before. I was a small blue fluff ball that enjoyed making others happy. Now I don�t know.�
Luna_Faline slips the sai back into it�s sheath, as I look around at the group, my ears twitch catching pieces of conversations.
Clarice gazes over at Finn, �Please Finnikins, don�t tell me you plan on leaving me�er...us again.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Just because the music changes doesn�t mean you stop dancing,� Syne smirks at Drac trying to cheer him up, �Just gotta find the right rhythm.�
DracBlue then dances just to be a smartass, but then falls to his ass again.
Vin_Da_DM: �Not yet, she wants me to keep an eye on your for a while longer.� Finn smiles at Clarice, reaching out he touches her cheek.�
Katie smirks, �Pearls of wisdom from a man who claims he doesn�t know the meaning of being human.� She smiles, �I think you�ve got a better grasp on it than you realize.�
Claron looks at Tabris then back at Stryder, �Time has a way of easing things...give yourself some time.�
DracBlue gets up and walks over to Kyra. �Hey, can I ask you something before you get all angry at me again?�
Luna_Faline�s one paw rests on my amulet, �Can we make it thru this meeting without any further troubles?� I ask Eclipse softly.
Kyra doesn�t move. �What is that? And who says I�m angry with you?� comes her muffled voice.
DracBlue: �Well, you always seemed angry at me before, but the question is�who is Kyn?�
Clarice smiles back at Finn, �I am so relieved to hear that. It�s long overdue�the catching up you and I need to do.�
Vin_Da_DM: Lowering his hand Finn looks at Clarice, �I will observe, but I am not allowed to help you to form this alliance.�
Kyra: �Kyndra. My sister.� Kyra�s voice sounds small.
DracBlue leans closer, his head laying on the pillar next to hers. �Wow, I feel real bad now. I thought you were calling me her.�
Vin_Da_DM: �We can only hope,� Eclipse says to Luna, places his hand over the paw she is resting on the amulet.
Kyra looks at him, �Why would you feel bad?� She raises an eyebrow.
DracBlue: �I�m not that girly, am I,� as he snickers trying to cheer her up.
Clarice: �Hopefully we will be able to do that on our own.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I don�t claim any wisdom, Kat,� Syne looks at her with a sly grin, �Merely commenting on what I�ve seen.�
Katie: �Hmph.� Katie snorts, then closes her eyes.
Luna_Faline looks up into his eyes wishing we were someplace else at the moment.
Kyra gives him an odd look, then leans back against the wall.
Cara still being supported by Clarice listens to the conversation with Finn.
Vin_Da_DM: �Going back to the good ole� days again?� Syne notices Katie with her eyes closed.
Katie opens one eye a crack, �Trying to keep my lunch where it�s at.�
DracBlue just leans against the wall, too. His smile fading, �You know�I had a family. I don�t think any of them would pay me a lick of attention now. So, I have to consider other alternatives and I�m thinking you and the others aren�t bad people. Maybe I can stay with you guys for awhile.�
Vin_Da_DM: Finn looks at Cara, �You did good. Your heart is in the right place.�
Kyra lifts her head once more. �I think you�d be as welcome an addition as me, at this point.�
DracBlue: �Why would you say that? I haven�t done that much to help.� He frowns.
Katie: �We�ll need every scrap of help we can get.� Katie says to Drac. �And the two of you have more than proven your capacity for caring and doing what needs to be done.�
Cara manages a weak smile then lowers her head, �If I had not done the right thing, what would you have done then?� Raises her head and looks Finn square in the eyes.
Vin_Da_DM: �Always helps having more good guys on our side,� Syne comments on Katie�s words.
Katie: �Exactly.� Katie gives Syne a dazzling smile.
Vin_Da_DM: �Whatever needed to be,� Finn returns Cara�s gaze.
DracBlue: �Well, if this keeps up�I�m gunna need to find a way to re-grow my wings. Can�t have Cara burning them all the time.� He smiles towards Cara.
Vin_Da_DM: �Roast flyboy, probably tastes like�what�s that human animal?� Syne ponders for a moment, �Small, feathery, goes �cluck���
Katie: �Chicken.� Katie laughs softly.
Vin_Da_DM: �Bingo!� Syne grins.
Katie: �Ugh.� Katie clutches her stomach again. �Let�s not talk about food, right now.�
Cara nods her head slowly as the realization of precisely how powerful this Finn is hits her. �If you both will excuse me, I need to speak with Stryder.�
DracBlue: �Well anyway, I�m glad I stopped you from fighting Cara,� he says to Kyra.
Kyra glances over at Cara. �Me too, I think.�
Vin_Da_DM: The angelic woman makes her way through the door again, without opening it as before, and looks at everyone. �Despite the...incident. The Illuminant are ready to receive you, i trust you are prepared?�
Cara pulls away from Clarice, turns and heads over to where Claron, Tabris and Stryder are standing. ~Stryder...~
Katie: �Do we have a choice?� Katie mutters.
Luna_Faline blushes as Eclipse and I are still standing looking at each other.
DracBlue: �I did like carrying you though.� He smiles back at Kyra as he walks towards the others.
Kyra laughs softly, then heads toward the woman.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder turns and looks at both Tabris and Claron then walks over toward Cara. �I�m sorry��
DracBlue: �So Eclipse, when do I get armor like that?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse blinks at her as he hears Drac talking to him. Glancing over at Drac he raises a brow, �Armor came with the body��
DracBlue: �Well, I�m going to need more protection now that I don�t regenerate.� He sighs.
Luna_Faline steps back from Eclipse and looks at Drac, �Armor doesn�t really work for wings.�
Cara smiles, �You had every right to doubt me...I should be the one to say I�m sorry. I
hope my choice pleases you. Even though, up to it actually happened�I wasn�t sure I would myself��
Vin_Da_DM: �We�ll just have to see what we can do after we�re done with the task at hand, Drac.� Eclipse says to him, listening to Luna.
DracBlue: �Thanks,� He smiles, but keeps walking.
Cara: �I think I understand how it must have been for Clarissa.�
Luna_Faline turns toward the door, �Right now, let�s just go and do what we came here to do.�
DracBlue looks over at Cara, �Did you know those bolts hurt? But I�m glad you decided to stick with us.�
Cara just nods her head at DracBlue.
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder looks at Cara and nods, �You took a big step in the right direction...will you let us help you take the rest?�
Vin_Da_DM: Syne turns towards the angelic woman and nods, �Probably as ready as we�re gonna be. Let�s get this over with.�
Cara looks into Stryder�s eyes, �I�m trying...that�s all I can do for now��
Katie pushes herself away from the wall carefully, and heads for the doors and what�s beyond them, taking a deep breath.
DracBlue walks back over to Katie and whispers to her so low that she can barely hear him, �You know what I think? I like your friend.� as he points to Kyra with a wing.
Katie nods, �Yeah, they have their benefits.� She gives Drac a small smile, then keeps walking.
DracBlue stops walking and stops confused, but then understands and catches up to her �Hey now!�
Luna_Faline takes a deep calming breath, �Here we go again.�
DracBlue walks up to the door.
Cara: �Looks like we should follow the others�� says to Stryder, �And Stryder, you should probably get back to Kyra,� adds even though the very thought of it saddens her.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse follows next to Luna, taking a breath of his own, �Indeed��
Vin_Da_DM: �We can all go together, unless you don�t want to walk with a friend?� Stryder looks at Cara with a friendly smile.
Cara smiles weakly, �Maybe she should speak for herself on that account.�
Kyra: �No, I don�t want your advice, Kyn. Butt out.� Kyra hisses under breath.
Tabris wraps his arm around Claron�s, �Time to go meet the leaders, ready dear?�
Vin_Da_DM: Finn watches as everyone approaches the door, waiting to enter. Moving to the center of the large ballroom he sits cross-legged quietly in the middle of the floor and waits.
Claron watches quietly Cara and Stryder then turns to Tabris, �The calm before the storm, I wonder,� she whispers.
DracBlue looks at Kyra kind of weird, but ignores it.
Kyra watches Tab and Claron, her chest aching.
Kyra: �Yeah. That�s the kinda love everyone wants.� She says quietly to her unseen sister, �Kinda like Mama and Papa had.�
DracBlue: �Love?� as he looks at Tab and Claron.
Katie looks pained, but says nothing.
DracBlue: �Yet another thing I�ll have to ask Syne about later.� He sighs, �So much to learn.�
Cara nods her head toward Kyra at Stryder, �Go to her�� she urges.
Katie: �Love is a feeling like you�d do anything in the world to make the world better for someone.� Katie says softly to Drac. �Like that one certain someone is the focus of your entire being.�
DracBlue: �Like your monk friend you look at so deeply?� He asks innocently.
Katie: �Deeper.� Katie smiles, �Shinta and I have a million miles to go before we reach Claron and Tabris� level of being.�
DracBlue: �Dear Lord I, guess I got thousands of years to go till I get there!� He sighs heavily.
Katie pats Drac�s hand. �Maybe, or it could be just around the corner.�
Kyra sighs heavily and picks at her nails.
DracBlue looks questioningly, but lets it go for now.
Vin_Da_DM: �If you are all prepared then you may proceed,� The angelic woman turns towards the door and claps her hands together. The large doors begin to part in response.
Vin_Da_DM: The massive ceiling high doors open before you, giving the view into the large amphitheatre shaped crystalline room. On the main floor is a long table carved from the same crystal as the building, with enough chairs for everyone in the group.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei stands from his spot at the table and waits as everyone files in and takes a seat. On the rising section of the room are five different sections of seating, with soft pillars of light shining down from holes in the ceiling on them.
Katie takes a deep breath, looking at Syne for reassurance.
Vin_Da_DM: A large water tank takes up a majority of the left side of the room, housing 3 of the large whale-like creatures swimming idly. Three people from each of the different races; Aeris, Qian-Su, Nevirus, Eredar, and Gul are seated in the remaining five sections.
Vin_Da_DM: One of the Eredar, a tall grey skinned man wearing golden armor stands and looks down at everyone seated at the table. �The Grand Illuminant is now in session. Warriors of Selenia, I am Flamespeaker Dracaeus, High Illuminant to this council. We have much to discuss��
