Vin_Da_DM: Previously on Warriors of Destiny: After receiving word from their fellow Warrior Kuan that the Dark Army had begun their full-invasion of Selenia�s kingdom the group began to think about where to find needed allies.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei suggested that the Warriors try asking the Gul-Qian, the mysterious aliens who created the Ettik, saved Alexei from death and bonded him telepathically to Ettik. With his help still needed on the battlefield Kuan returned to Aventine, leaving the Warriors to continue on their journey.
Vin_Da_DM: Leaving the peaceful ocean-side behind, the Ettik shot out into space on the few days journey to Gul-Qian space.
Vin_Da_DM: *Time Passed: 8 hours*
Vin_Da_DM: We rejoin the Warriors as the Ettik slows itself and the hyperspace tunnel fades around it, leaving the ship drifting into a massive nebula filled sector of space. Various shades of blue and purple gas clouds of varying density hover outside the windows.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei�s voice comes over the com with a sigh, �Looks like we�ve hit a hyperspace-dead area�I�ll have to calculate how long till we�re out of it. So for now, enjoy extra time.� The coms hiss softly for a moment before turning off.
Vin_Da_DM: $ Start
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse leans his back against the edge of the bed as he looks out the windows at the nebula.
Kat|e sits on her bed, staring blankly at the wall.
Clarice smiles contentedly nestled in the crook of the now dozing Tewyn�s arm while thinking, �I knew it wouldn�t take much for me to change you mind�.
Tabris: Wiggling his fingers Tabris watches the obsidian shards hovering over them. Narrowing one eye he tosses one of them at a makeshift obsidian dartboard on the wall, �Come on bulls-eye!�
Kat|e sighs and heads out to the galley for some coffee.
Luna_Faline runs a paw over Eclipse�s stomach tracing designs lightly with a finger. �Are you worried?�
Claron sits cross-legged on the bed watching Tabris.
Vin_Da_DM: �About what in particular? I�ve got quite the list,� Eclipse says with a sigh and smile trying to make light of the way he feels.
Kat|e wanders into the galley, grabs a cup of coffee and sits down at the table, her mind still wandering.
Tabris sighs as the shard hits one of the spaces on the board, �Aww, well...so my aim�s not that great.�
Claron tries not to laugh as she enjoys messing with Tabris� aim at the makeshift dart board.
Luna_Faline leans up and kisses him softly. �Do you want to talk about any of them?� as I sit up and cross my legs.
Vin_Da_DM: �Interesting view, isn�t it?� Alexei�s voice sounds from behind Katie.
Kat|e startles, then laughs. �Yes, it is.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Two months is quicker then last time the Dark Army invaded Aventine,�
Eclipse looks at Luna, �They either have more troops or more powerful ones.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Mind if I join you?� Alexei asks as he moves toward an empty chair holding a cup and a datapad that he presses on with some free fingers.
Tabris: �Hmm�� Tabris eyes the board for a second then tosses all the remaining shards at it.
Kat|e: �Not at all. I�d welcome the break in my sulking.�
Luna_Faline shakes my head, �I don�t remember much of that incarnation. But considering that they have Clarissa now, I am very concerned.�
Claron manipulates them so all the shards go into the bulls-eye. �I knew you could do it,� chuckling softly.
Vin_Da_DM: Taking a seat Alexei sips carefully on the contents of his cup using the brim to brush away strands of hair covering the scarred half of his face. �So, why would you be sulking?�
Tabris: �Oh, I saw that! You cheated and you�re not even playing!� Tabris says to Claron as he turns towards her and starts tickling her viciously.
Kat|e: �I�m a bit nervous. Since regaining some of my memories, my time with the Gul-Qian seems like a lifetime ago.� She nibbles her lower lip, sighing.
Claron laughs uncontrollably while trying to wiggle out from Tabris� tickling fingers.
Kat|e: �Hell, these days everything seems out of time and out of place for me. I�m not even sure of who I am anymore.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I see,� Alexei looks out towards the window seeming distant for a moment before snapping back, �You seem to have regained your past faster than most do.�
Kat|e nods thoughtfully. �A lot of it is due to Shinta and Kyo. Without them�I don�t think I�d have come this far so fast.�
Tabris: �You�re not getting away that easily, you dirty cheater!� Tabris laughs as he rolls Claron on top of him and kisses her then continues tickling.
Kat|e sighs, �Kyo is gone now. He finally transcended. He�s finally�.home,� her eyes glitter with emotion. �And I feel like another part of me has slipped from my grasp. One more piece of the me I once was is gone.�
Kat|e: �It is a funny dance between trying to recall who I was, and trying to shape who I choose to be now.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I suppose she�s even more dangerous with what she knows about us,� Eclipse sighs and leans his head back, �Then there�s my sister...and the remaining Knights. Some of whom I don�t even know.�
Kat|e sips her coffee, �I even remember you now�from before�.� she smiles.
Claron returns his kiss before giggling again from his next assault of the tickling fingers. �Okay...okay�I�ll play fair and square... I promise!�
Vin_Da_DM: �Seems to be an interesting time for you,� Alexei says as he takes another sip and messes with something on the datapad that beeps at him. �I wish I could...I only have bits and pieces. Even Ettik can�t tell if I�ll ever remember it all.�
Kat|e nods again, �I don�t know, I suppose in some ways it�s even better being a clean slate. There are a few mistakes I�d give anything not to know about.�
Luna_Faline picks at a knot in the fur on my tail, �She doesn�t know our new powers, we don�t even know the full strength of them yet ourselves. But I�m worried about not being
strong enough to face her down when that time comes.�
Tabris pauses and looks at her, �You really promise? I�d hate to have to resort to my extreme methods!� Tabris wiggles his fingers at Claron mockingly.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei nods, �True...I suppose if I�m meant to remember, I will.�
Kat|e stares out the window for a moment. �This battle, it worries me. I think it will be greater than any challenge we�ve ever faced. I know the others feel the same way.�
Claron�s eyes twinkle, �I promise, really I do�� laughingly.
Luna_Faline looks him in the eye, �Will she have any feelings for her family when they meet again? Could she be turned for the good at all?�
Vin_Da_DM: �I don�t know...it will be a difficult challenge when we come to it,� Eclipse sighs as he looks back out the window, �I�m also worried I may have to use some of my abilities that I swore I�d never use again�� Eclipse continues.
Claron then adds, �Unless�you really need my help.�
Tabris: �Hmm�� Tabris lowers his fingers and nods, �I agree to your terms of surrender. Now we shall have a feast to honor our new alliance!�
Luna_Faline takes Eclipse�s hand in my paws, �If you do have to use them, what will happen? Are you concerned you�d turn bad again?�
Claron smiles radiantly, �A feast! And pray tell me kind Sir, what will our feast include?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Not so much...but they are dangerous and their effects�� Eclipse trails off as he recalls bad parts of his past and shudders, �Nightmarish..�
Clarice slips out from the crook of Tewyn�s arm and off the bed, gathering her clothing, heads into the bathroom to freshen up.
Tabris stands up on the bed and poses in a lordly manner, �Only the finest dishes! Roast duck in cream sauce! Fruit tarts! �clairs! A whole cooked boar! A medley of fresh and crisp vegetables! The best wine, aged to perfection!�
Luna_Faline runs my paw up his arm, �Well, let�s just pray it doesn�t come to that point,� tugs his hand gently, �So, what should we do with this extra time?� I grin at him with a raised brow.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, I�m not sure.� Eclipse says tilting his head to the side as he looks into Luna�s eyes.
Claron clasps her hands together, �Oh! A feast fit for a king!" as she curtsies before Tabris.
Vin_Da_DM: �The more allies you have for this battle, the better your chances.� Alexei says to Katie finishing what�s left in his cup and standing. Cursing in Russian he nods, �The better half of a day until we�re out of this sector.�
Kat|e: �Yes. I just hope we are successful in finding enough allies to aid us,� she says quietly.
Tabris: �Only the best for my Queen!� Tabris reaches down and grabs Claron�s hand and kisses it. Smiling he nods, �Ok, seriously. Want to get a bite to eat?�
Tewyn yawns and sits up in bed.
Luna_Faline smiles at him and crawls over him to get off the bed. �Maybe we should get some thing to eat? I woke up famished.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Let�s hope so,� Alexei says with another nod, �Now, if you�ll excuse me, Ettik�s having some buildup in the ramscoops.� Giving her a short bow of his head he heads for the hallway.
Clarice adjusts the water in the shower before stepping into it.
Kat|e: �Thank you for keeping me company, Alexei,� she smiles at his back, before staring broodingly into her coffee cup.
^Shinta steps out of his room, heading for the galley.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse sinks into his shadow on the floor then slides out to his feet in the doorway as it opens. �Famished, can�t have you starving now, can I?�
Claron nods her head, �Yes, I am feeling a bit hungry.� Lead the way, m�lord.�
Luna_Faline giggles as I look up at Eclipse, �Ummmmm, are you going to the galley like that?� my eyes roaming over his body slowly.
Tabris: �Of course, m�lady,� Tabris wraps his arm around Claron�s and leads the two of them into the hallway.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks down at himself for a moment then back at Luna. �Well...as shocking as it would be, I guess some pants would be good.�
^Shinta steps in the galley, looking around.
Luna_Faline laughs softly and moves into the bathroom to freshen up. �I don�t mind it, but the others my have mixed reactions. We wouldn�t want jealousy to show it�s ugly head, would we?�
Kat|e doesn�t hear him enter, as she looks out the viewport, lost in thought.
Tabris: As Tabris walks down the hallway with Claron he looks around and sticks his nose up, �How dreadful, m�lady. We must remember to have the butler put tapestries and rugs in.�
Clarice stands under the streaming water, rinsing the shampoo from her hair.
^Shinta walks quietly up to Kat|e touching her shoulder, �This thing warmed up any lately?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Probably not,� Eclipse reaches out with a shadowy-tentacle that whips his pants off the floor and back to him. Sliding them on he nods, �I�m sure they can live with me shirtless.�
Kat|e jumps, then looks at him with a smile, �Mmmm, hi you,� she leans up for a kiss.
Luna_Faline steps back into the room after brushing out my mane. Moves to the closet and reaches for my cloak.
^Shinta: �Well, hiya back...You okay? Been a little distant a few days,� returning her kiss.
Claron giggles, �And maybe while we are at it...we could acquire an artist for our family portrait.�
Vin_Da_DM: The clothes in Luna�s closet rustle for a moment before the cloak slips off and glides towards her hand.
Kat|e: �I�m fine. Just had a lot on my mind.� She leans back against him, �Gonna grab some food and join me?�
Tabris: �Of course. One of those lively artists. We don�t want any of those somber ones that don�t smile.� Tabris says with a chuckle.
Tewyn calls out, �You trying to use all the water we got in there?�
Luna_Faline lets out a little mew of joy, �Did you see that????� slipping the cloak on as I turn and smile at Eclipse.
^Shinta: �Yea, just not sure what I want...any suggestions?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Hmm?� Eclipse looks up from fastening his pants, �Did you move something else?�
Kat|e gives him a wicked grin, �Well, I was just waiting for you. I�m kinda in the mood for finger-food, how �bout you?�
Kat|e gets up and kisses him again before wandering over to the replicator.
^Shinta: �Finger food sounds pretty good right now.�
Kat|e orders up some fruit, cubed ham and cheese.
Clarice catches the sound of Tewyn�s voice as she reaches to shut the shower off, �Just �bout done,� she calls back to him.
Kat|e pops a grape-like thing in Shinta�s mouth with a smile, then brushes a kiss across his lips, settling back into her seat.
Luna_Faline sighs and holds out my paw, looking at my sai, �My cloak came to me!� as my sai glides into my paw. I fasten the sheath to my thigh quickly. �Ready?�
Clarice grabs her towel, dries herself off, then wraps the towel around herself before combing her hair out.
Vin_Da_DM: �Pants, check. Yup, good to go.� Eclipse says as he taps his uncovered clawed toes on the floor.
^Shinta: �Mmmm, sweet.�
Tabris: Entering the galley Tabris lets Claron go ahead of him, �M�lady, the royal dining chambers.�
Luna_Faline laughs and extends my claws to click on the floor as I step past him into the hall. �You know, that explains why I thought something was in the closet that first morning we were back on the ship.�
Kat|e waves to Tab and Claron with a smile, taking a bite of food from Shinta�s fingers with her teeth.
^Shinta stuffs a piece of fruit in Kat|e�s mouth.
Vin_Da_DM: �Might have been,� Eclipse follows her out into the hallway scratching an area near some spines sticking out of his shoulders, �Maybe it�s easier for you to move things that you always have nearby.�
Clarice dresses before coming out of the bathroom. �You could have joined me, you know.�
Tewyn: �Nah, all that licking got me clean last night.�
Luna_Faline shrugs lightly, �Maybe, I hope this new ability grows�.So I�ll be able to move more things. Or have things come to me with out me having to see them?� sighs, �I�ll just have to keep trying it out on things, won�t I?�
Claron chuckles as they enter the galley, then waves at Katie.
Kat|e leans back against Shinta, chewing the fruit with a small smile.
Vin_Da_DM: �Practice makes better,� Eclipse says as he takes her paw softly and holds it as they walk.
^Shinta waves to Claron and Tab, �You guys role playing again? Remy said he would of been the servant boy last night.�
Luna_Faline falls into a contented silence as we walk together to the galley.
Kat|e giggles, �I�ll be�he would. Pervert.�
Clarice laughs as she playfully slaps at Tewyn.
Tabris laughs, �I�m sure...but three�s a crowd.� Tabris moves over to the replicator and looks over the lists.
Tewyn: �Hey, watch who your slapping, lady.�
^Shinta: �He said okay, he will just keep watching and learning.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Sounds like everyone is still in a good mood,� Eclipse says as he and Luna enter the galley.
Claron blushes.
Tabris: �If he�s watching, I�ll have to start charging you a viewer�s fee, Shinta.� Tabris chuckles as he orders a bowl of chips and some dip.
Luna_Faline looks around as we walk in. �That looks good,� as I hold a paw out, pointing at the cubed ham and cheese.
Clarice leans down and kisses Tewyn, �I�m famished...what about you?�
Kat|e laughs softly, popping some cheese into Shinta�s mouth.
Vin_Da_DM: �Then we should get some,� Eclipse says as he looks at Katie and Shinta.
^Shinta: �Not me! Charge him over there!!� closing his eyes and Remy appears humping the counter in a strange way. �He wants to know what that position is, by the way.�
Tewyn: �I could use some food.�
Tabris shakes his head at Remy, �Make sure to clean up when you�re done, buddy.�
Kat|e: �I don�t think you really need to know, freak-boy,� she admonishes him.
Luna_Faline covers my open mouth with my paw as Remy appears, �Oh Goddess,� I gasp.
^Shinta: �He said something bout you were taking it home?�
Claron pushes buttons on the replicator for a seafood salad and a glass of fruit juice before joining Tabris at the table.
Kat|e gasps and closes her eyes while her shoulders shake silently.
Vin_Da_DM: �Well...now my showing up without pants would have seemed in theme�� Eclipse mutters to himself then looks around, �Hey, everyone. I hope we�re not interrupting anything��
^Shinta: �Daddy?� giggles, �Oh, taking it home, daddy.�
Kat|e: �Put him back, Shinta. He�s traumatizing the feline.�
^Shinta waves his hand and Remy disappears. �I swear, that kid is too nosy.�
Luna_Faline nudges Eclipse in the side with my elbow and whispurrs, �I�m not ready to show you off yet.�
Clarice reaches her hand out to Tewyn, �Off to the galley we go then.�
Tabris: �And the furniture�� Tabris adds in with another chuckle.
Kat|e doubles over laughing, tears streaming.
^Shinta looks at Claron and Tabris oddly, �What is this� take it home, daddy?�
Tewyn takes Clarice�s hand, �Lets go.�
Kat|e: �Thank god the other is more tactful.� She frowns and looks at Claron, �Um� Claron? There�s something I need to tell you.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks down at the replicator then over at Katie and Shinta�s plate of food. �So...you wanted to order cubes of meat and that orange stuff.� He looks at Luna.
Kat|e: �Well . . . we need to tell you, actually.�
Kat|e grabs Shinta�s hand for moral support.
Tabris shakes his head as he eats some chips, �I�m sure he�ll figure it out.�
Luna_Faline smiles and nods, reaching around Eclipse to order the same thing they have. �It�s called cheese, you�ll like it, trust me.�
^Shinta looks at Kat|e, �Umm, we?� feeling her hand, �Oh yea...we.�
Kat|e twines her fingers with Shinta�s and bites her lip, taking a deep breath.
Vin_Da_DM: �Cheese, that�s right. Hopefully it�s better than the last �cheese� I had,� Eclipse says as he watches the food materialize.
Claron chokes on her bite of salad, catching her breath she whispers to Tabris, �I certainly hope he is teasing,� as the same uncomfortable feeling she had once long ago envelops her, triggered by the memory of a previous Remy visit.
^Shinta squeezes her hand tightly.
Tabris looks at Katie and Shinta, �What did you want to tell?�
Luna_Faline raises a brow at that remark "When was that?"
Kat|e: �I suppose it�s really your place to tell her, honestly,� she whispers.
Clarice and Tewyn make their way towards the galley, �Looks like just about everyone is in there,� as they enter.
Kat|e: �Well�it�s�.� she chews her lip. �I know Kyo and Claron were close.��
^Shinta: �If you want me to tell her�them�I will.�
Claron turns to look at Katie, �Tell me what?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse shifts his gaze thinking for a moment, �Few centuries...somebody offered me �cheese� made from a large farm animal�s milk. It tasted as bad as it smelled.�
Kat|e pulls Shinta�s arms around her comfortingly.
Luna_Faline moves to a table and sits down waiting for him to bring the tray over. �There are many different kinds of cheese. Some do smell and some don�t taste that good alone.�
Kat|e: �I can�t�you�ll have to tell her.� She looks in his eyes for a moment, then nods.
Claron watches Katie with ^Shinta, a smile forms on her lips.
^Shinta looks at Kat|e, then Claron, �Kyo, decided to move on, he transcended past the spirit plane�.Said his time had come.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse grabs the tray and sets it on the table before sitting down, �Well, that�s good to know.�
Tewyn: �Guess everyone was hungry.�
Tabris: �So, that�s like�what? Him going to heaven or the like?� Tabris says questioningly.
Kat|e nods quietly, her face serene, but a little sad.
Claron�s eyes widen and the makings of tears glisten, �Oh....When did this happen?� looking at them both before adding, �I didn�t� even�get to say goodbye�.�
Luna_Faline looks at the cheese on the tray and holds my paw open again, concentrating on it.
Kat|e: �Two days ago.�
Kat|e: �He told me to stand up and be a big girl. That I was past needing him to do my deciding for me.�
Vin_Da_DM: Unfortunately for Luna the cheese doesn�t move for her.
^Shinta: �If that�s your belief, then yes.�
^Shinta: �Sorry, Claron, took me by surprise, too...but you know him�never one for crowds and long goodbyes.�
Kat|e reaches over and squeezes Claron�s hand, �It was difficult. And I�m sorry he didn�t tell you goodbye.�
Luna_Faline looks up at Eclipse and sighs, �Oh well, I tried,� taking a cube and popping it in my mouth with a purr.
Vin_Da_DM: �Guess we can�t expect just any food to move for you,� Eclipse smiles as he takes several cubes of cheese and meat and eats them.
Claron tries to smile, �He must have been ready to go, and saw that you were in good hands,� looking back at ^Shinta.
^Shinta: �You will have to get the details from her, I guess.�
Kat|e: �And I guess we couldn�t ask him to keep hanging around for us. He�s wanted to go home for a long time.� She smiles up at Shinta. �Yes. He told me that I had the opportunity to be happy, and not to blow this one.�
^Shinta: �Guess he was a smart one,� holding Kat|e.
Luna_Faline nods and takes a grape, looks at it for a moment then tries it. �Hmmm, these are sweet and seedless.�
Claron nods her head slowly, �As long as he said his goodbye�s to you�� placing her free hand on top of Katie�s.
Tabris: �Well, it�s good that he moved on...what the hell?� Tabris says as he looks out the windows on one side of the galley, �Does anybody else see that dark spot out there?�
Kat|e smiles, �But for loving me, yes. His taste in women could have been better.� She grins, �But who am I to argue?�
Vin_Da_DM: Outside the windows to one side of the ship a dark spot in the nebula appears to be drawing closer to the Ettik, but the thick fogs hide any detail.
^Shinta thwaps Kat|e on the head, �You better not argue.�
Luna_Faline ears perk up at Tabris� question, turning I look out the window. �What?�
Clarice: �Sure looks like it," as they move towards the replicator, �What sounds good to you?�
Kat|e laughs, then looks out the window. �Good Goddess. What is that?� she whispers.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks up at the window Tabris is mentioning, �You�re not seeing things. I see it, too.�
Claron looks back at Katie, �He had excellent taste in women, my dear friend.�
Claron turns to look out the window.
Tabris raises a brow, �It�s getting closer whatever it is.�
Luna_Faline eyes focus on the place they are looking at, �What is that?�
Kat|e gives her a cheeky grin, �Well, if ya got it, ya got it, I suppose. And whatever it is, I guess I�ve got it,� then she turns back to the window. �I don�t know if I quite like the looks of that.�
Clarice: �What�s everyone looking at?�
Tewyn: �That big, dark, asshole in space there, dearie.�
^Shinta: �Nor do I.�
Clarice finally sees what the others are looking at as he looks toward the window.
Kat|e shivers and snuggles back against Shinta, �Well, things are never dull with this group, are they?�
^Shinta: �Don�t think we would have it any other way though...least not for now.�
Kat|e continues to stare out the viewport, frowning.
Clarice watches as the dark spot moves closer. �This is liable to ruin a good meal.�
Vin_Da_DM: An odd bass-sounding �ping� echoes across the surface of the Ettik as the dark spot becomes large off the side of the ship. The nebula clouds begin to part as the dark spot breaks through them revealing itself to be a spaceship that is WAY too close.
Vin_Da_DM: With only a few seconds of time to see the ship from the window one of it�s swooping side-arms crashes into the Ettik somewhere above the galley. Ettik�s walls tremble with the sound of twisting metal and a deep moan of pain.
Kat|e: �Mine�s already spoiled.�
Vin_Da_DM: The galley shakes from the impact of the two ships, sending everything on tables scattered to the floor and tipping over chairs and their occupants. The shaking stops as the lights in the galley shift from on to off repeatedly.
Vin_Da_DM: From outside the window you can clearly see half of the other ship�s arm is imbedded into the Ettik and the two ships are slowly drifting sideways in a slow spin.
Kat|e lays there, her breath knocked out.
^Shinta coughs trying to catch his breath.
Luna_Faline yells, �Alexei? What�s going on?�
Tabris pushes his chair off himself and curses, �Ahh, hell...the damn thing hit us!�
Kat|e turns over slowly, wiping away a trickle of blood from her mouth and wincing as she feels a gash beside her left eye.
Vin_Da_DM: The com systems crackles heavily, Alexei�s voice heard in and out between the cracks of static, �Blasted...radar not...didn�t notice until...on top of us. Need you guys to....for damage on upper deck.�
^Shinta: �You okay?� looking at Kat|e.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse coughs and growls as he pulls the fork from his abdomen, �Not exactly the snack I was expecting��
Kat|e coughs heavily, �Yeah, I think so. Something smashed into my face.� She pants through the pain, �And I think I fractured my wrist. Bloody thing hurts like a bitch.�
Clarice is knocked on her ass.
Luna_Faline pushes debris off me and stands up, looking around. �Who�s hurt?� taking hold of Eclipse to pull him up as I heal him.
Claron tries to manipulate her gravity as she feels herself being tipped over.
Tewyn wipes his lip, �Well, that was a pleasant hello.�
Tabris rubs his head as he stands up, �Fine. I think I inhaled one of my chips��
Luna_Faline moves to Katie and gently takes her arm in my paws, runs my paws over it carefully, healing her quickly. �Better?� I ask softly.
Kat|e blinks, �Much. Thank you. Now about my face?� she laughs, �Never mind. Yer not a cosmetic surgeon.�
Luna_Faline smiles at Katie, �Your all right,� as the cuts heal without leaving a scar.
Vin_Da_DM: �I hate to make a bad thing worse, but I think we should try to get out of here,� Eclipse says as he dusts himself off and points towards the window and the crack on it, �Soon.�
Kat|e: �You�ve got a point, Smudge. I�m with you on that.�
Luna_Faline looks over at Eclipse as I help Katie up. �That looks bad.�
Clarice picks herself up off the floor and rubs her ass cheek, �Well, you heard Alexei,� as she moves to the galley door. �On my way to the upper deck, Alexei.�
^Shinta: �We better hurry.�
Luna_Faline: �Anyone else need my help?� I ask as I move toward the door.
Tabris climbs over chairs and tables to reach the door, grunting he manages to get it half open. Creating an obsidian block he wedges it in the gap. �Alright...that should hold long enough.�
Kat|e scrambles through the opening, climbing over the debris in the hallway.
Tewyn moves out from under the debris, �Lets go check things out.�
Clarice stands up and moves towards the door.
Luna_Faline follows Katie thru the door, �Can this room be sealed off?�
Kat|e: �What a mess,� she pats a wall, �Sorry Ettik, darlin�. Looks like you�ve been nailed a good one.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Let�s hope so,� Eclipse says as he notices the window crack getting larger with several audible �snaps!�.
^Shinta: �Just wonder who�s on the other side��
Kat|e turns and looks at Shinta. �So much for a leisurely breakfast, huh?�
^Shinta: �I�ll just have to make it up to you,� giving her a smile.
Claron: �Alexei, we suffered much damage in the galley. Bad window crack,� as she follows Tabris.
Luna_Faline waits in the hall. �Come on, get out of there.�
Tabris lets Eclipse and Claron climb through the door before he does. Kicking the block out from the door he watches it slam closed.
Clarice stands next to Tewyn in the hallway.
Luna_Faline makes a note of who was in the galley, �Tabris, where�s Stryder and everyone else? We need a status on the rest of the crew.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks down the hall noticing some dislodged sections of bulkhead and sparks conduits.
Tabris turns to look at Luna as you can hear the muffled sound of the window breaking and the loud gusting of air that ends in dead silence, �I�m not sure��
Luna_Faline looks at the mess in the hall, �How are we going to get thru all that?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Carefully,� Eclipse says as he pushes a panel back into the wall, �I�d look around, but with this wreck I�m liable to shadow walk myself right out into space.�
^Shinta: �Well, maybe the kiddo can be of help this time.�
Kat|e: �Good idea.�
Luna_Faline shivers, �We wouldn�t want that to happen, and we don�t really know where anyone was on the ship,� looks at Shinta, �That would be a good idea.�
Claron starts to panic as she sees all the debris, �Stryder, we haven�t seen Stryder!�
Tabris: �Calm down, I�m sure he�s all right.� Tabris says holding Claron close.
^Shinta: �Hold on...he wants to lead us around nude...being the smart ass he is�.But he is going to behave and get around all this.�
^Shinta brings Remy back out, �Okay, no leading anywhere outside the ship!! Got it?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse continues further down the hall ducking under a broken lighting rod in the ceiling. It sparks against his head spines, �Oww�� Rubbing his head he looks ahead, �Doesn�t look too bad. Just a few things to avoid.�
Luna_Faline follows Eclipse, �Watch it, we don�t need ya getting fried.�
Claron: �I don�t see why he needs to be nude,� whispers to Tabris.
^Shinta looks over to Claron, �He wanted everyone to check out his ass, you know how he is by now.�
Tabris shrugs as he looks at Remy, �Ghost-ass or no, he better do a good job of leading us.�
Claron shakes her head, �Must have been an exhibitionist when he was alive.�
^Shinta: �He will, I�m sure...or he goes bye-bye for good.�
Kat|e: �Evidently,� she muses.
Vin_Da_DM: Low echoing moans of the Ettik sound through the halls along with the static of the com system which is drowning out whatever message is transmitting.
Luna_Faline ears twitch trying to make out what is being said on the coms.
Vin_Da_DM: �The ramps to the upper level should be up ahead,� Eclipse says as he points ahead down the hallway.
Clarice follows closely behind Tewyn.
Luna_Faline carefully steps thru the wreckage, wishing for my boots.
Tewyn: �Lets just hope we get where we need to.�
Claron in her mind calls out Stryder�s name.
Vin_Da_DM: ~Mom? What the hell happened?~ Stryder�s voice mentally echoes out to Claron.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse steps over some debris and then looks at the side hallway, �Ramp looks clear��
Claron sighs, relieved as she hears Stryder in her mind, ~Are you alright? Where are you? Another ship crashed into us.~
Vin_Da_DM: ~Crashed? That would explain the large silver thing taking up the entire hallway�~ Stryder says mentally with a sigh, ~Looks like there�s a hatch in...this part of the other ship, I guess.~
Luna_Faline continues to follow Eclipse. �Let�s hurry it up, guys.�
Claron gasps, �Stryder is saying part of the ship is in the hallway...and looks like there is a hatch.�
Vin_Da_DM: Reaching the top of the ramp Eclipse notices emergency bulkheads blocking both directions of the upper hallway, �Well��
Tabris: �So, he�s all right, that�s good,� Tabris looks at Claron.
Luna_Faline growls, �Now what?�
Kat|e sighs, �Lovely.�
Vin_Da_DM: A pounding sounds from the emergency bulkhead on the right.
^Shinta: �Plan B, anyone?�
Claron looks over at Tabris, �I guess, he�s alive for sure...but he didn�t say if he was hurt or not.�
Vin_Da_DM: ~ I�m going to check it out, I�ll get back to you on what I find.~ Stryder says to Claron.
Luna_Faline turns to look where the pounding is coming from. �Who�s out there?�
Vin_Da_DM: The bulkhead blocks a lot of the yelling, but Luna can still hear Syne, �Stupid door! Anyone out there?�
Claron smiles, �He must be okay. He�s going to check it out.� ~ Be careful, Son.~
Luna_Faline runs over to the door, yelling, �Syne, we�re here,� looking at Eclipse, �What do we do now?�
Kat|e: �Rogue! Yer alive!� Katie smiles, relieved.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at the bulkhead then at Luna, �Not sure...these look like pressure doors. Means there�s serious damage on the other side.�
Luna_Faline: �What about Syne? We have to do some thing. He�s over there and we�re stuck here.�
Claron: �Wonder if my new power could help?�
Vin_Da_DM: �About damn time somebody showed up!� Syne yells at the bulkhead.
Luna_Faline yells back, �How bad is the damage on your side?�
Tabris shrugs as he looks at the other bulkhead opposite them, �Anything�s worth a try, assuming getting Syne out won�t kill us.�
Clarice stands listening and waiting to hear Syne�s reply.
Vin_Da_DM: �Aside from the hole and lovely view of our new friends, could use some work!� Syne says with a snarl, �I�m guessing there�s still air on your side.�
Claron mentally tells Stryder where they are at, describes what it looks like and how Syne is trapped on the other side.
Luna_Faline looks back at the group on my side and yells, �Yes, we have air, for the moment,� at Syne.
Vin_Da_DM: �Doesn�t sound good,� Eclipse says hearing Syne�s reply.
Kat|e: �No, that it doesn�t. Sounds like a hell of a can of worms to open.�
Kat|e chews her lip in thought
Vin_Da_DM: �Okay. Guess it�s time for me to take a walk and find another way in!� Syne yells back.
Luna_Faline yells, �Be careful!� to Syne, turns back and looks at the guys. �Well? Where do we go from here?�
Claron stands with a perplexed look on her face, �I don�t know��
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, the bridge is that way,� Eclipse points at the other bulkhead.
Luna_Faline rubs my paws over my face, �And that is blocked as well.�
Vin_Da_DM: ~I found someone...a girl, she�s unconscious, but not too badly hurt,~ Stryder says to Claron, ~I�mma try to teleport to the Med Bay.~
Tabris: �Anyway to find out if it�s safe on the other side?� Tabris says looking around at the group, �What about Remy?�
Clarice: �Well, fuck!� feeling frustrated.
^Shinta: �He should be able to,� watching Remy nod and walk thru the debris.
Claron leans in to Tabris and whispers, �Stryder is saying he found an unconscious girl and is going to try and teleport with her to Medical.�
Tabris: �Medical�s on the lower level, maybe we should try to meet him there?� Tabris says to Claron.
Claron nods her head. �Luna, Stryder has found someone unknown girl. And is headed for Medical.
Vin_Da_DM: On the other side of the bulkhead, Remy sees the hallway in disarray but no visible damage from atmosphere loss.
Luna_Faline nods, �I hope Medical is still intact.�
Claron: �How we going to get there?�
^Shinta: �It�s a mess he says...but safe.�
Kyra opens her eyes and looks up at Stryder weakly. �Where the hell am I and just who are you?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse nods at Shinta, �All right...we can split up if you want. Some can go to Medical on the lower level and the rest of us can try to get to the bridge.�
Vin_Da_DM: Stryder sets Kyra down on one of the exam tables in the Med Bay, �Well, you�re on our ship and I rescued you. Care to explain why your ship crashed into ours?�
Luna_Faline looks around. �I don�t like it, but alright,� quickly kisses Eclipse, �Take care of yourself.�
Kyra shrugs a shoulder, �I don�t know. All I could see was fog. The people on this ship don�t really tell me anything. They are still kinda mad at me for sneaking aboard.�
Luna_Faline turns around and starts making my way back to the lower level.
Vin_Da_DM: �Stowaway, eh? You got a name?� Stryder says crossing his arms at her.
Claron turns and follows Luna.
Clarice looks at Tewyn, �Medical or Bridge?�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse looks at Katie then at the emergency bulkhead, �You can bend metal, right? Do you mind?�
Kyra scowls, �Yeah. I got one. Kyra. Kyra Darnier.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Well, nice to meet you Kyra. I�m Stryder and we�re not exactly in the best situation right now,� Stryder says to her.
Tewyn shrugs, �Doesn�t really matter.�
Kat|e: �You got it.� She focuses on the bulkhead intently, her eyes shimmering brilliant green.
Kyra: �Yer tellin� ME. Boy, I really feel weird about this whole thing. One minute I�m starin� out the window and the next I�m waking up in the arms of an angel.�
Vin_Da_DM: The bulkhead creaks and eventually buckles for Katie, bending apart creating a space big enough to get through and to see the debris-laden hallway beyond.
Kyra rubs her head confusedly.
Clarice: �There�s not much good we can do in Medical anyway.�
Vin_Da_DM: �Now, now...I�m not an angel. I can just teleport is all�� Stryder nods as he hops up on the other exam table and sits.
Luna_Faline reaches an intersection in the hall and pauses a moment to catch my breath, looks both ways. �The galley was that way, so Medical is this way,� pointing down the hall to Claron.
Tabris looks down the hallway as he walks next to Claron, �Should be down there. Doesn�t look like it�s damaged hardly up ahead.�
Kyra: �Well, you certainly look like one. That hair is something else,� she smiles and tries to sit up. �Ow. My head hurts. I�ve got a knot the size of a small cruiser.�
Clarice starts moving towards the other bulkhead.
Luna_Faline starts down the hall to Medical. �I hope it�s not an enemy we�ve run into.�
Claron: �That�s a good thing,� replies back to Tabris as they make their way closer.
Vin_Da_DM: �I bet...I found you under a cargo container,� Stryder says looking at her head to make sure it wasn�t bleeding.
Kyra: �What kind of name is Stryder, anyhow? Yer parents must be real cool people.� She looks at him and blushes a bit.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse climbs through the opening into the hallway, �Poor Ettik...this crash really tore it up in some places.�
Claron: �I hope not, Luna.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I guess,� Stryder shrugs then turns his head, �Someone�s coming.�
Kyra tenses up. �Hope they ain�t mad I crashed the party, so to speak.�
Clarice makes her way thru the debris trying to get to the bridge.
Kat|e climbs through, looking around.
Luna_Faline finally makes my way into Medical and looks at the situation. �Stryder, you alright?� as I move to the table to look at the girl. �And who is your friend?�
Vin_Da_DM: The hallway is cluttered with bits and pieces of Ettik�s conduits and systems. Eclipse climbs over some as he looks ahead, �If the lift to the bridge isn�t working we�ll have to climb.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m fine...and this is Kyra. Apparently a stowaway on the other ship,� Stryder says extending a hand to Kyra as if introducing her.
Kyra: �A cat lady,� she looks at Stryder, �Um, did I hit my head THAT hard?�
Claron follows Luna into Medical and quickly engulfs Stryder in her arms. �Are you alright? You�re not hurt�are you?�
Tabris: �Nope, you didn�t. She�s the real deal,� Tabris says as he follows Claron and Luna into the Medical bay.
Luna_Faline stops and looks down at Kyra, smiling, �Well, let me be the judge of that, shall we? This won�t hurt a bit.� Running my paws over her head searching for the bump and healing it.
Kyra: �Oh, now this is cool.� She looks Luna up and down, �You a doctor or something?�
Luna_Faline continues to examine her, �Something like that. I think you�ll be fine.�
Vin_Da_DM: �I�m fine, Mom�� Stryder says as Claron hugs him.
Kyra: �Oh my god. Yer mom is sooooo pretty!� her eyes get wide. �Now, I know where you get it.�
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse reaches the bridge lift door and pries them open. Looking inside he sighs, �Broken, of course.�
Claron smiles before she kisses Stryder�s forehead, �Thank goodness.�
Kat|e: �Naturally,� she sighs.
Claron finally looks over at Kyra, flashing her a smile and twinkling eyes.
Vin_Da_DM: Jumping inside the lift shaft Eclipse easily attaches to the wall. Looking over his shoulder he nods, �There�s a ladder just to the right of the door that you can climb.�
Kyra smiles back a little shyly.
Luna_Faline steps back from Kyra, �Was there anyone else on that ship, Stryder?�
Vin_Da_DM: �I don�t know...I didn�t get very far into it,� Stryder looks at Luna, �Their side is looking as bad as ours. So, I basically found Kyra and came back.�
Clarice nods her head and begins to move towards the ladder.
Kyra: �There was only three other people on the ship besides me. They were headed to pick up supplies, I think.�
Vin_Da_DM: Scaling up the walls to the bridge doors Eclipse finds them open and climbs up. �Alexei? You okay up here?�
Clarice climbs up the ladder.
Vin_Da_DM: �Pretty big ship for just four people,� Tabris comments to Kyra.
Luna_Faline shakes my head, �I don�t know what we�re going to do now. Ettik is badly damaged and we don�t know how far from our destination we are.�
Clarice: �Any signs of Alexei?�
Vin_Da_DM: �Pretty damaged up here,� Eclipse says to Clarice as he moves some debris aside.
Clarice: �That�s not good��
Vin_Da_DM: �Must be a supply ship,� Stryder guesses in response to Tabris.
Kyra: �Well, I only saw the three. They locked me up in a storage room when they found me. Boy were they mad. But maybe there WERE more people on there. I snuck out once before they found me and saw three of them eating.�
Kat|e closes her eyes, hoping Alexei is okay.
Claron listens to Kyra as she speaks.
Kyra: �So what is it you guys do? Traders? Colonists bound for a new home?� she looks around the med bay.
Clarice looks around at the debris and for any signs of Alexei.
Luna_Faline bows my head, �I would love to lay eyes on Guardian at the moment,� I mumble.
Vin_Da_DM: �I�ll...*cough* live,� Alexei�s gruff voice sounds as a piece of bulkhead is shoved aside revealing Alexei leaning to one side holding his bleeding side where a piece of metal is sticking out, �We need *cough* to get the ships apart.�
Clarice gasps, �Alexei!�
Tabris: �I�m not sure where he is. Last I saw he was heading to the cargo bays he said,� Tabris shrugs to Luna as he looks at Kyra, �That�s a complicated answer, missy.�
Clarice: �Yes, of course, but how we going to do that?�
Kat|e breathes a sigh of relief.
Vin_Da_DM: Taking a few steps Alexei supports himself on one of the command chairs, �At this point...*cough* Forcibly.�
Kyra nods and hops off the table, wandering to peer out the door. �Oh my. Did we do that?� she whistles.
Vin_Da_DM: Eclipse moves over to Alexei to examine his wound, �We need to get you to Luna in Medical.�
Luna_Faline: �Yes, but probably not on purrpose.�
Kyra: �I hope not. It would be kinda stupid if they had.� She wanders out into the hall, still gazing wide-eyed, �Anything I can do to help?�
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei thrusts a hand at Eclipse, �Leave me, I�ll be fine.� Coughing again he looks at the few visible portions of the 360 view-screen in the bridge. �What...who is that?� He points at a section of view-screen where a lizard-esque bear is walking across Ettik�s hull.
Clarice: �Hopefully, its Syne.�
Kat|e peers at the screen, �Looks kinda like him.�
Luna_Faline moves toward the door, �Maybe we should try to get up to the bridge now?�
Claron: �I am afraid the ship you were on is responsible.�
Kyra looks contrite, �I�m sorry.�
Luna_Faline pats Kyra�s shoulder, �It�s not your fault.�
Kyra leans against a wall looking small and frightened, her earlier curiosity giving way to her nervousness.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei nods, �If we could contact him, he might be able to help,� Trying a few more steps Alexei cringes as he holds his side.
Claron: �She�s right , you weren�t navigating the ship.�
Tabris: �I�d blame this nebula. It�s thick and foggy. I�m surprised you can see anything,� Tabris says to Kyra and Luna.
Clarice: �Maybe we need Claron�s help, too.�
Kyra nods sadly, �Still. It has made such a mess.� She looks around at the people surrounding her.
Claron moves closer to Tabris, �Maybe we should see what the others have learned, or if they have made any progress on the upper deck.�
Tabris: �We probably should,� Tabris nods to Claron.
Luna_Faline nods, �I think so, too,� agreeing with Claron.
Vin_Da_DM: Ettik shutters and moans as the two ships continue to drift in their slow spin through the foggy nebula. Pieces of debris float away from the damaged areas leaving a metallic trail that disappears into the thick clouds of purple and blue.
Vin_Da_DM: Alexei takes a few more steps and falls to one knee. Leaning towards the floor he coughs up some blood then looks up. �We�ve got to separate the ships, and soon. If we don�t hurry, Ettik, will die and if it dies, so will I��
