Previously on Warriors of Destiny: Having lost the trail of Katies kidnapper, Alexei decided to take the Ettik and her crew somewhere they could get information to help in the search. Seeing no other possibilities, he chose Pegasus Station, a galactic trading hub run by Gabriel Saturnes, a former colleague of the Warriors.
With a lengthy trip through hyperspace on route to their destination, the crew had time to rest and interact. While some worried about their lost friend; others sought guidance from a higher power, and one continued weaving its dark plan...
Meanwhile; Katie questioned the legitimacy of her kidnappers claim to be the real Stryder. Understanding her suspicion of him, he said he would do his best to keep her safe while he pretended to be an agent of the rogue fleet, and its dark master, Lady Velarenyssa.
*Time passed: A few minutes*
You are cleared for docking bay 12, the port officers voice chimes in over Ettiks bridge-com. Alexei nods in response as the Ettik jets forward towards its assigned bay. Clearing his throat, he toggles the ship-wide com on, Well be hanging out here at Pegasus for a while folks. If you need supplies, entertainment, a drink or simply fresh air; odds are youll find it here.
Meanwhile; the dark skinned commander rises from her chair. Each step she takes towards Katie and Stryder her white hair sways. Cold sky-blue eyes examine Katie from head to toe, a sly expression graces her face as she brushes Katies cheek in passing, Bring her, we must show her our hospitality
Spinning to his desk, the station commander presses a button on the console. Zach, let our guest know her friends have arrived at bay 12.
Luna tilts her head as her ears twitch, Pegusus Station? Isnt that Gabes place? She asks Eclipse as she glances out the window.
Zachiel nods his head at the com link on the wall, then turns. Glancing across the plush waiting room, adjacent to the stations high-class club; he nods to the half-elf reclining on the sofa. Lilly was it? Your friends are back, just docked at Bay 12.
Yes. Eclipse glances over at the window, Looks in better condition then it was last time we were here.
Luna nods and smiles, We didnt part under great circumstances. Hope he didnt have too much difficulty running interference.
Arwyn enters the galley just as Tewyn starts cursing in Elven as he slices deep into his hand with the sharp French knife he is using to dice up some mushrooms and grubs.
Lilly looks up startled. She had been lost in thought as she turns to the man and nods at him. Thanks, I will head over that way. Lilly walks out of the room and heads towards the dock, hoping to be welcomed with open arms. Not sure how everyone had taken her sudden disappearance, she still did not even understand why she did it. Just that it had to be done. She arrives at the dock as Ettik comes into view.
Want to go for a walk, babe? Tabris asks Claron softly after kissing her cheek.
Cara quickly grabs a towel and wraps up her fathers hand. Kabal! Quick! Help Va!
The red and black hull of the Ettik lords over Lilly as the ship glides up alongside the dock. Slowing, two massive docking arms reach out and secure the ship gently into its berth. The airlock opens and a ramp slides out landing a few feet in front of Lilly.
Kabal shakes his head and moves over to the cabinet marked with a medical symbol and takes the med kit out. Bringing it over, he opens it up and looks inside, grabbing some bandages and med gel pack.
Clarice jumps up from her seat as she hears Tewyn swearing loudly, rushing quickly over towards him.
Lilly looks at the hull of the ship and moves down the length of it. She smiles as she awaits the sight of her old crew members. You know, I dont even know what to say to everyone.
Luna reaches for her boots and begins pulling them on. You want to go see if Gabe has any information for us? she asks Eclipse.
A walk might be nice, Claron smiles faintly back at Tabris.
Hearing the hatch open ahead of him, Skirmir wanders towards it. Reaching the ramp room, he steps outside, glancing around the massive docking bay as he descends the ramp. Noticing the woman waiting below, he perks his ears forward, Hello, looking for someone?
Worth a try, Eclipse comments as he moves towards the door, glancing sidelong at Luna as she puts her boots on.
Lilly turns towards the voice and blushes. Umm, Yes, kind of. She moves closer to the ramp and sighs. But its more than just one person...its actually a whole crew. I used to be with them and was told that they would be here. And at least the ship is, not sure about the crew.
Its just a cut. Ive had worse, Tewyn mumbles.
Luna holds out her paw and her amulet floats quickly to her as she stands to follow Eclipse. Slipping it over her head, she steps out into the hall. It seems like forever since we were here last.
Damn it Kabal tosses the pack back into the med kit, Ill need to take you to med bay, Dad. This stuff wont cut it.
That bad? Clarice asks as she watches Kabal toss the med gel pack back into the med kit.
Theyre inside, Im sure theyll be out soon, Skirmir nods, glancing over his shoulder as he steps off the ramp and moves to the side.
Lilly smiles and gives him a nod. She turns back away from the ramp and wonders away again.
Clarice reluctantly wraps an arm around Tewyns waist as they leave the galley and head for med bay.
Kabal watches Clarice as she helps Tewyn down the hall.
Too bad it was just his hand and not his throat, Arwyn says in Elven as Clarice, Tewyn and Kabal pass her.
Tzaphiel sighs, feeling awkward in the silence that has fallen over the room. She looks up in time to see Dracs back as he runs from her room.
That it does Eclipse wraps his arm around Luna as they walk, his tail snaking idly in the air behind him.
Lets go then, Tabris extends his hand to Claron as he takes a few steps towards the door of their quarters.
Luna walks contentedly next to Eclipse.
Tewyn jerks his head back, trying to look at Arwyn. But he feels Clarice grip his waist tighter. Shaking her head, knowing it had to be some form of an insult, Clarice quickens her pace. Leave it be for now, Tewyn, continuing down the hallway.
Deciding to leave the woman to her thoughts, Skirmir strolls down the dock. His gaze drifts between the numerous billboards and flashing signs hanging from the ceiling or wall advertising a club, shop or some other service.
Lilly turns toward the man and sighs. He was someone new. Wonder what other changes have happened. Guess I will not know till everyone gets out. Where are they anyway? Still taking their sweet little time.
Claron takes Tabris hand, allowing him to lead her out of their quarters.
Cara watches as they take her father to Medical. As they leave the galley, she begins to clean up the blood from the counter and floor.
"Lilly? Its been a long time, Alexeis thick Russian accent carries in the air as he walks down the ramp. Trailing behind him, Sikozu studies Lilly with her gaze momentarily before going back to looking at a data pad.
Lillys head turns with a jerk. Alexei? Oh my god. Her smile grows larger at the sight of a familiar face. Yes it has been a long time. Nice to see a familiar face though. She moves towards the ramp as her eyes fall on the other person behind Alexei. New members? Did you replace me already?
Im not a replacement, Sikozu says, her voice soft but commanding. Im the pilot of Ettiks offspring.
Lunas ears perk up as she hears Alexeis voice ahead of them. Did he say Lilly? She looks down the ramp ahead of Eclipse and herself.
Eclipse looks down the ramp and nods, Appears to be her, he replies to Luna.
Lilly gives Sikozu a look of confusion. Ettiks offspring? But Ettik is a ship, how can a ship reproduce? Lilly looks up the ramp at two other familiar voices.
Luna moves down the ramp quickly, Lilly, this is a nice surprise.
Itd be pretty hard to replace you, Lilly, Alexei pauses, letting her talk to Luna and Eclipse.
Lilly nods and smiles at Luna. Yes, well its definitely nice to know its a good surprise. I was seriously hoping I would not get a horrible welcome. Im liking this one a lot better.
Sounds like some talking going on, Tabris looks over at Claron, catching the voices at the edge of his hearing.
Luna smiles at Lilly, Are you here to rejoin us?
Lilly smiles at Alexeis words as she turns to Eclipse. Nice to see you all, too. I definitely hope so. That is if you have room for me, seeing as you do have new members.
Some distance down the dock Stryder appears from his teleport. Watching the conversation at the ramp, he shakes his head, Unexpected, but easily dealt with. He says to himself as he turns to head into the stations main district.
Arwyn moves over towards the replicator, pushes the appropriate button for a hot cup of herbal tea. Taking it, she turns and heads back towards her quarters.
Always room for old friends, Lilly, Eclipse gives a bow of his head in greeting.
Returning the bow, Lilly looks around again. Well, what are you guys doing here? Not that Im not grateful to see you all, because I am. Just what brought you guys here? She raises an eyebrow, Are you guys on a fun night out?
Well Eclipse looks over at Luna. His glance questioning whether he should tell it or her.
Luna nods, Im sure Ettik will have a room ready for you, Lilly. Looking around the docking area, she briefly sees Stryder walking away. Turning back to Lilly, Fun will have to wait, Im afraid. We need to see Gabe first.
Claron tilts her head, trying to catch the sound of the voices, So it seems, she whispers.
While youre meeting with him, Ill be checking with my contacts on the station to see what I can dig up, Alexei says to Luna.
Lillys ears perk at the name. Oh yeah, wonder how hes doing. She turns back towards the end of the ramp and passes Alexei. Do you mind if I join you, Luna? Or are you guys having a private meeting?
Well, quite the party youve got going on, and nobody told us a thing, Tabris says jokingly as he and Claron start down the ramp.
Claron looks down the ramp at the group, Tab, that Halflingshe looks familiar.
Luna nods, Yes, thank you, Alexei. We can use all the help we can get. Glancing at Eclipse for a moment, I dont know that you have to sit in on this. Its not a happy meeting.
If you want to come with us Lilly you can, Eclipse nods to Luna.
Lilly looks up at Clarons voice. Wow, forget me already; did you, Claron? And I thought I was unforgettable. Now I think Im hurt. Her eyes dart to Eclipse. I dont want to intrude, but it would be nice to have some interaction with the old gang. However; I can always look around Ettik and find a new room.
With those ears, who could forget? Tabris smirks at Lilly, How you doing?
Lilly lets out a soft giggle. Better, now that Im back with friends. Though it does not seem that I have rejoined at the best of times.
Leaving med bay, Kabal strolls down the hall, wondering whether or not to have a look around the station.
Claron looks directly at the Halfling, puzzled momentarily, Lilly?
Lilly smiles and does a slight curtsy. In the flesh.
Luna turns and looks at Claron with concern. Claron, are you alright? Lilly was with us when the twins were born.
Alexei glances over at Sikozu and nods, the two of them dismiss themselves from the group and head down the dock towards the station.
Having finished cleaning up the mess in the kitchen; and stowing the prepped food away to use later, Cara leaves the galley. Spotting Kabal as he comes towards her from the med bay in the hallway, she asks,  Hows Va?
Fine, he made some comment about how the blood added to the flavor. Kabal sighs, then looks around, I was thinking about looking around the station.
Claron forces a smile on her face as she looks toward Luna, Im working on it.
Youre worried about Katie, babe, Tabris comments to Claron as he listens to the exchange.
Lilly waves as Alexei and Sikozu leave and walk towards the station. Well, I guess I will go ahead and take a tour around Ettik to refresh my mind on how it looks. Pending, the ship hasnt changed any. That is, if you guys are heading out and need to go somewhere.
Luna reaches over and pats Clarons arm gently for a moment. Lets go find Gabe and see what he knows.
Ill go with you, seeing how a family meal is now out of the question, Cara moves closer towards Kabal. That is...if you want my company.
I see no reason I wouldnt, Kabal nods to Cara, his expression looking pleasant as best it can.
I dont think its changed much, and finding a room should be easy, Eclipse says to Lilly, glancing back at Ettik, Im sure itll show you to one if you ask.
Claron squeezes Tabris hand gently as she nods her head, Guess you were right, Tababout this being Gabes planet.
Lilly nods. Ettik was always good in that department. Ill see you all when you get back. She walks up the ramp past everyone, giving them all a wave before disappearing behind the walls of Ettiks airlock.
Tzaphiel grumbles about crazy boys and crawls off the bed. She decides to take a shower and clean up.
You must really be out of it, babethis is a space station, remember? Tabris looks at Claron with some concern.
Luna takes Eclipses arm and moves them toward the stations interior. Im not sure where to look for Gabe. But I have a feeling someone will be able to point us the right way.
~Hmm...we have a guest~ Kabal eyes Cara, then motions ahead at the Halfling entering the corridor.
Lillys head turns from side to side as she takes the familiar look of the ship in. Ettik, Im back. Hope you have been doing ok. Her hands glide against the wall as she smiles. Im back, and need a room whenever you see fit to lend me one. She continues to wander around, remembering where things are as she passes by other places. The layout of the ship slowly coming to form in her mind once again.
Cara chooses not to say anything back, but glances briefly at the Halfling.
Should be easy enough, he does own the place if memory serves, Eclipse replies as he reads the various signs lining the hallway.
Ohrightthats what I meant. Claron looks back at Tabris, unable to hide from him the sadness in her eyes.
Ettik gives a harmonious hum to Lilly, a holographic map appearing on a wall nearby with a layout of the two passenger decks. A number of the rooms on the map blink as if indicating their vacancy.
Wow, looks like I have a pretty good choice of rooms. Nice to hear that youre happy to hear me. As she reaches the galley, she sticks her head inside and looks around. Hmmm, doesnt look that different, then again this ship hasnt changed much at all. With the exception of the crew.
Tabris smiles, trying to lighten Clarons mood as he walks hand in hand with her down the hall toward the station. That looks nice, he points at a neon holo-sign advertising an arboretum.
Luna chuckles at Eclipse as she looks around. True, but the last time I was here I didnt pay a lot of attention to where I was going.
Sitting at a table by the window, Wraith turns his head to look at Lilly. Studying her, he tilts his head listening to the invisible wind that is flowing gently around him.
Lilly notices a figure by the window and studies his features. Hiya. She gives a small wave before turning to continue her scan of the galley.
Wraith gives a nod of his head in reply, then turns back to look out the window, Yes, she may be one he says quietly to himself.
Claron glances over at the sign Tabris points to, but it doesnt really register in her mind. She nods her head slightly, Yes, it does.
Lilly turns and exits the galley, turning in the opposite direction, continuing her scan of the ship. Alright, time to find the room. She glances at the doors and notices that some of them have names of the crew on them. Ohh, youve upgraded, Ettik. Now we get nametags? Pretty snazzy.
Tabris sighs softly as he notices Clarons distracted expression, After this meeting with Gabe we can take a walk there.
A soft chittering sounds near Lilly as one of Ettiks crab-bots skitters past, its claw dragging several damaged power cords along with it. It blinks at Lilly as it passes her, but continues on down the hallway.
Lillys eyebrow raises as the crab-bot skitters away. She shakes her head and continues on her way before finding a room with an empty name tag slot. Walking in, she smiles. Perfect, Ettik you always have the best ideas. I knew you would help find the perfect room. Oh and congratsI think, on the whole offspring thing.
Okaysounds like a plan. Claron wishes she could muster up more enthusiasm, but finds her thoughts still remaining on her best friend. What I would give to see her emerald eyes, and hear that Scottish brogue of hers when she gets excited or angered, she whispers.
The main promenade of the station is buzzing with activity, aliens of all varieties mingle and shop. Bright signs mark places of business, bars, shops, offices and various entertainment venues.
Eclipse glances around, then nods. That way, he points, his gaze moving from the console-sized map on a nearby wall, half covered by posters and graffiti.
Luna shakes her head as she looks at the graffiti. Im surprised you found that map, hidden amongst all this mess. She winks at Eclipse.
Lilly falls backwards on the bed and sighs. Its so good to be back, you know. Wish I knew what I missed. Especially with everyone going to talk to Gabe. Seems like Im walking into some danger. But, thats nothing new. She glances out the window and smiles.
Busy station, its to be expected, Eclipse shrugs as he looks at a shop selling an assortment of animals.
Luna looks in the pet store as she passes it. It almost seems to have grown.
Lilly sits up again and walks to the door. Spose I better see who else they recruited. Opening the door, she walks out, now focusing on the name tags.
Her ears perk, getting a vibe like she did around Tewyn. Thats weird. She moves closer as a nametag catches her eye. Arwyn Kennyrrae. Well gotta introduce myself at some point. Lilly knocks on the door gently. Not sure what or who would be on the other side.
Luna walks along with Eclipse, glancing around. I wonder what the scale was on that map, she sighs as they keep going.
Not sure, Eclipse replies as they walk, then motions again. There we go, he motions at a ramp leading up through the tiers, a holo-sign reads Administration.
Hearing the knock on her door, Arwyn turns from looking out the view port and faces the door. Enter.
Lilly looks shocked before placing her hand in the indention of the door, sliding the door open. Arwyn? Her eyes grow larger as she takes in the womans features. Another elfwow, this ought to be interesting.
Luna shakes her head, He certainly is a long way from the docking area, moving up the ramp towards the office.
Tabris notices Luna and Eclipse heading for the ramp and follows them, You doing okay? he looks at Claron.
I do not believe I commanded the presence of a monkey face before me,  Arwyn says to ^Lilly in her typical you are beneath me voice.
Youve seen the crowds, can you blame him? A youthful voice sounds in front of Luna as Zach pushes off from his spot leaning against the wall. Dissipating the lightning orb in his hand, he smiles, Good to see you guys again, off to see the old man, eh?
Lilly raises an eyebrow. Well, I dont believe you learned the proper manners of greeting someone. Here let me help you. Hello, Arwyn. She waits for a few seconds, and then in a slow and sarcastic tone. And now you sayHello, Lilly.
Lunas ears twitch as she sees Zach. Yes, well it doesnt make for a faster escape, does it? She nods, Is he busy? We do need to talk to him.
Hes waiting for ya, Zach replies, heading up the ramp with them. At the final tier, he gives a wave to the two security guards flanking the doorway. One nods and turns to activate the door controls.
It is YOU that have forgotten how to show proper respect to your superiors, Halfling. You DARE to presume to tell me how I should address you. I think not! I have no use for one such as yourself. Now leave my sight, Arwyn turns back to gaze out the viewport, dismissing Lilly with a wave of her hand as she does.
Lilly lets out a loud scoff. Oh, and I thought Tewyn was an arrogant prick. I should talk to the others and find out what in the hell presumed them to allow you to join them. With that, she pushes the door open and slides it shut with a loud bang before turning back towards her bedroom. She shakes her head as she thinks about the interlude, disgusted and secretly wondering what was stuffed up the elfs butt.
Claron nods her head at Tabris. Yes, my love. Im fine, still obviously distressed over the loss of Katie.
Tzaphiel, having cleaned up, leaves her room in time to hear a loud bang echo thru the halls. Wow, someone is mad.
Luna squeezes Eclipses hand as the guard opens the door.
Lilly reaches her room once again and enters, falling on the bed again. She yawns before rolling over and sighing. Man, am I exhausted. And that interlude didnt help me much.
On the other side of the door is the expansive office of the station commander. The 1-way glass floor gives view of the sprawling tiered promenade below, a large half-circle desk sits near the far end, in front of a large wall-sized monitor. Gabe looks up from the desk towards the door, Come in.
Luna steps into Gabes office and looks down at the floor with a shiver. Im sorry, Gabe, but that just gives me the chills.
Youre not the first to think so, Gabe shrugs a bit, green eyes studying Luna, Eclipse, Claron and Tabris as you enter the office. I find it helps remind me of the lives Im responsible for.
Eclipse looks down at the floor, then up again, noticing Lunas shiver.
Claron moves in closer to Tabris, Talk about keeping an eye on things, as she glances back up from the glass floor.
So, what brings you to my station? Gabe questions, clasping his hands together as he leans back in the chair.
Yeah, really, Tabris comments in response, a little unnerved by the glass floor.
Luna forces her gaze up from the floor and moves quickly across it to Gabes desk. We need your help finding a fellow Warrior.
Katie! Clarons eyes begin to pool again as she looks at Gabe.
Katies missing? Gabe questions, his expression looking somewhat concerned, And how exactly did she get lost?
We didnt LOSE her, she was taken by force! Claron finds herself unable to control her emotions.
Luna glances over at Tabris and Claron, then sighs, We were on a mission to retrieve an object of some importance. Just as we had it in our possession, a man appeared and kidnapped her. She pauses for a moment to let that sink in.
Yes, and there was mention of a rogue fleet shortly before the mission, Eclipse adds to the conversation, hoping that would help.
Claron slides her arm around Tabris' waist as she buries her head on his shoulder, unable to stop the tears from overflowing.
Luna nods, We were hoping you might have some information that could lead us to her.
Gabe rubs his chin in thought for a moment, I believe I might. One of my associates has made mention of a few ships from this rogue fleet traversing a nearby system, as if searching for something. He pauses, sliding a data pad over to himself, he nods, Perhaps, if you were to go there you may find out more. Entering data on the pad, he extends it towards Luna.
Luna takes the pad and looks down at it. Have you heard who this fleet is working for?
You will regret taking the sword, Warriors...if you wish this one to live you will come...you will find us and you WILL give us the blades. If you do not  the muffled sound of Clarons voice repeats Katies kidnappers exact words.
Only rumors, a dark sorceress, someone of great influence and powers, Gabe shakes his head, unsure whether or not to trust rumor. That pad has the system coordinates for your pilot, and it gives you permission to requisition supplies from the station quartermaster.
Tabris looks at Claron with concern, Honey, you need to calm down.
Luna glances over at Claron again, shaking her head. Thank you for the credit, Gabe. Im sure were going to need to stock up.
Lady Velarenyssa...ring a bell, Gabe? Claron raises her head from Tabris shoulder to look at Gabe again.
Gabe shakes his head, Cant say that it does
Claron sighs heavily, clearly disappointed that Gabe has no knowledge of this woman.
Surely, you must know of a way we could find out more about her the sound of desperation and extreme concern coming through in Clarons voice.
Luna looks at Eclipse, handing him the data pad. Turning to Claron, she says, We know that she was once powerful enough to take on Daegriss. But she lost that fight and was sealed away until we stumbled in and freed her.
My associate keeps business on a planet in that system, Gabe motions at the data pad. It is possible he may know more about this Velarenyssa woman if he knows about her fleet.
Eclipse studies the data pad handed to him with a nod, Its a start at least.
There has to be a way of learning moresurely someone has had dealings with her somewhere...THERE just has to be a way. Claron rambles on out of sheer desperation.
Luna nods, turning her focus back to Gabe. I take it, you included that planets information on the data pad.
Yes, I included a pass code as well, to assure my associate that Ive sent you, and not one of his enemies, Gabe gives a nod to Luna, his gaze drifting to Claron with confusion.
Luna sighs, I suppose that takes care of what we came for. Unless theres anything else you care to share with us.
Travel to the system is restricted to certain time periods because of hyperspace currents in that area. Gabe sighs a bit, So you have some time on the station until the next window. The data pad will inform your pilot when travel is safe again.
Hyperspace currents, interesting. Only a few systems are affected that severely, Eclipse comments, giving the data pad another look over.
Luna crosses her arms, Sounds like the perfect place for an enemy to hide.
Perhaps, Gabe nods. Well thats everything. Enjoy the station, and good luck.
Just seems like one more thing to delay us in gathering information and finding Katieto me. Claron finds it hard to hide the disappointment in her voice.
Luna smiles at Gabe, Thank you for your help. She turns and moves quickly across the unnerving see thru floor to the door.
I think we should go take that walk, get your mind off worrying so much, Tabris says to Claron, attempting to lead her out of Gabes office.
Eclipse bows his head in thanks, then turns to follow Luna out of the office, Its a definite lead.
Claron finds herself pulling back slightly. Pausing, she glances back over her shoulder at Gabe, her eyes showing a mixture of pain and sorrow. But she remains silent for the moment and allows Tab to lead her out of the office.
Gabe watches the group leave his office before he turns in his chair. Zach enters the office, standing on the other side of the desk, he looks at Gabe. Facing the wall screen, he clasps his hands together, a video feed of Stryder wandering through the station market appears on the screen.
Theres something amiss about that one Gabe says with suspicion, Zach, I want you to go with them and keep an eye on him, he shifts his gaze watching the monitor, I sense a darkness about him, so be on your guard.
Elsewhere; a frustrated Syne releases his grip on the aliens neck, letting the unconscious humanoid slide to the ground. Useless turning his eyes on the aliens comrade, who is clearly trembling at the sight of the massive black werewolf, he growls, Now, tell me everything you know, I wont ask again.
Meanwhile; with a disgusted look, Calypso, the dark-skinned commander, exits the holding cell. Giving Cyrus a glare, she speaks, So she will not give up her secrets easilywe shall have to change our tactics and try again
