I understand that they are light and low horsepower with a light vehicle has some decent numbers on the track.
Anyway, I personally like the cars that get several hundred horsepower under the hood and dont sound like a lawnmower when you rev up the engine.
The 300ZX is heavy but is capable of a lot of power. A 3000 pound car can run fast because it can be upgraded so many more times due to their 6 cylinder engine I presume.
Due to the popularity this car recieved in the movie "The Fast and the Furious" (which is by far the dumbest movie made based on cars) this car with the TT had prices go up due to massive demand.
Obviously you cannot buy this car brand new because the last model made was 2000 I believe.
This was one of the cars I considered buying in the future but due to the cost and popularity of it I decided not to get it.
I use to have one of these 4 months ago for like 3 weeks and was forced to sell it due to the need for college money.
This car is good, I loved it, mine was black with a biege interior (it was a 1993 FD3S RX-7 the only in Fairbanks).
I decided to sell altogether because:
This was a high maintenance vehicle because of the rotors mostly. If I were to convert the RX-7 and race it the car would need repairs on the rotor linings to keep it going. It is also very expensive to upgrade this car once someone hits 400 horsepower. (It comes stock with 255)
I really hated to sell this car, but had no option because of the conditions.
