I know who they are ~ do you? (Lyman, Eileen and Ginger) |

| How about these kids? We have two Farris sisters in this picture ~ can you pick them out? (that's Ruth on the far left and Eileen on the far right) |

| Don't you love these outfits with the snow in the background? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Isn't this great? I love looking at all these familiar faces to see what characteristics we inherited and who we tend to look like. Can you see any family resemblence between these kids and your own kids? Can you recognize any of the Farris or Eisenhauer traits in you and your family? Grandpa Eisenhauer was a blacksmith; Granddad Farris used to do his crossword puzzles with a pen instead of a pencil, was a great teaser, and always seemed to win when we went to Jackpot. One time I remember him saying, "I need a new lawnmower. Let's go to Jackpot." Well, needless to say, he came home from Jackpot with enough money to buy a new lawnmower. That's a trait I didn't inherit! One trait I'm sure we all can relate to is the famous Farris stubborn streak (okay, some of us have more than our share, but I'm not naming names ... we know who we are, don't we?!) Grandma and Granddad had 10 children (all born at home except for the last two). See page 2 for info on the children. |
