| In my opinion Basketball pretty much just plain sucks, but since we do have a professional team I feel I have to say something atleast. | |||||
| As I have said, I think Dumars has this team headed in the right direction. So what did they do? They win the NBA title! I have only two things to say to this. 1) GO PISTONS! 2) Basketball still sucks! | |||||
| If you are wondering why I think Basketball sucks, I will tell you. In no other professional sport does a team score as many points as in Basketball. Yet when they make rule changes it is usually geared toward creating more scoring. I liked Basketball in the days of the Badboys when Detroit won the championship with more defense than offense. Two straight years they won with defense and the league didnt like it. Rule changes came and hard nose basketball went out the window. The rules are geared to make it near impossible to stop a team from scoring. Maybe I'm just a defensive minded person. Personally I dont think so though. I am a well rounded person. I believe in offense as well as defense. Offense is exciting, but only if against a good defense. |
