Merry Xmas Eddie

This is a time for joy laughter and a happy Xmas day we know

But this year our hearts will be heavy as you to heaven did go

Not that you wanted to leave, but in this you did not get a say

Ripped from your loved ones arms on that dreadful dark day

We didn’t even get to kiss or hold you or even say a sad goodbye

Uncaring hands holding frightening yelling screaming ,all a lie

My heart breaks my mind rages helpless, nothing could be done

To aid you by any of your love ones ,our poor helpless gentle son

Many explanations , excuses, lies all thrown our way, so beyond belief

So tempers flare, minds rage of carelessness told, and finding no relief

I know one can’t turn back time and change the past, so the die is cast

As the old saying goes, All get their just reward in front of God at last

So a Merry Xmas to you my son , I will hold in my heart and mind

Thank you for gentle caring ways and for you always being so kind

The Love for you by many was strong and is now as strong still

We all miss you with hearts breaking but have to bow to God’s will.

We know you are happy and at peace with Georgieanna your love

With her sitting on your knee both wrapped together like a glove

Bound together here on earth, and in heaven’s garden for ever

Never to be lonely , caring for each other and not parting never

Merry Xmas I say again but only if I could say it face to face

But this can never happen while I’m trapped here in this rat race

In my dreams I’m with you and our little one on this happy day

I awake and know that we will be together on some other xmas day

oh! what more can I say we all loved you Ed with your kind gentle ways and big golden heart you never saw evil in anyone . and everyone was your friend and you had a kind word for all. Xmas was a special time for you .
you really loved xmas and loved the year you dressed up in the Santa suit and gave presents to all of our friends kids and your nephews even though we know your heart was breaking, because you couldn't see your own three children. because your ex wife was so selfish and wouldn't let you . but you never said a word and had a ho ho ho and a merry xmas for all

And last xmas with your little Georgieanna who was your joy and  the love of your life and you decorated the house and dressed the Xmas tree  for her and took so many xmas photos of it .which now sharon treasures beyond measure and always will.

Eddie we know that you will have made a million friends up in heaven with our darling Georgieanna.     your loving kind ways would have made sure of this. and you will be having a very merry xmas with all the little angels with you wearing a Santa suit again and happily giving each and everyone a present with a hearty Ho, ho, ho! have merry xmas one and all.

We love you Son and always send our thoughts up to you and Georgieanna you are our guardian Angels on high. God will keep you safe in his love until we meet again.
