| This is a brutal, yet technical, demo by a California death metal band. The track, Empty Veins, commences the brutality with a seering guitar riff then a quick drum roll followed by a death scream. Lothar's vocals are for the most part very deep, but sometimes he goes into a higher pitched vocal. Breed of Cain opens up with a slow old school death metal riff and a deep growl, with the riff melting into the main riff. "Love" at First Rape is about a father who sexually abuses his young daughter, and the vocalist criticizes him throughout the song for his perversion of sex and the torment he brings his daughter. The music is aggressive and brutal, with great lead guitar and it closes with the vocalist saying to the father, "She will be, the first in line, to sodomize you, with a knife." The disc ends with the track Unsanctified, which is another old school style death metal song, complete with some squeals and a bass solo.. The whole disc is the old death metal sound reminiscent of Death, Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, etc. A very good demo, and it being a demo, keep in mind the production is not the greatest, but it is filled with great music.
