GRAFTON-  With the season ending after a tough playoff loss at the hands of the Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes, the team had the North Shore Conference All-Conference team announcement to look forward to.  Today, those names were released.  The Grafton Black Hawks had five players on the All-Conference teams, 3 first team All-Conference, 1 second team All-Conference, and 1 Honorable Mention All-Conference.  Honorable Mention went to junior defender Michelle Delfosse.  Michelle is a third yead varsity player and this is the first time she has been named all-conference.  She had 2 assists this season for the Black Hawks.  2nd team All-Conference went to senior goalkeeper Ashley Hollrith, who was a solid wall in goal for Grafton this season.  First team All-Conference selections from Grafton were junior sweeper Leah Wilde,  who was
great in back for the Black Hawk defense and also scored a goal and added 2 assists for the Grafton offense.  Also, freshman phenom Lindsay Wilde was named first team All-Conference.  She was 2nd on the team scoring 14 goals and added six assists for Grafton in her first season in a Black Hawk uniform.  And finally, senior standout Laura Janowitsch was named first team All-Conference again, and was also named the Player of the Year in the North Shore Conference.  Back in 2003, she was also named the Player of the Year in her sophomore year.  This year, Janowitsch led the team scoring 24 goals and chipping in the 5 assists for Grafton.   LJ will be attending Northwestern University in Evansville, Illinois, to play Big Ten college soccer.  Congratulations to Laura Janowitsch, Lindsay and Leah Wilde, Ashley Hollrith, Michelle Delfosse, and the rest of the Grafton girls soccer team on another sucessful season!
Scored Grafton's lone goal in her final game as a Grafton Black Hawk, ended an astonishing high school career.
