| Rings of Light
Sun lights shining through the clouds, as night fall comes around. The evening star looks rather loud, as darkness settles down. Rings of light around the stars, separate the light from dark. It's hard to believe this galaxy is such a work of art. Like an angel shining over you, there's rings of light around the moon. So now you're free and clear of gloom, now that darkness can't get through. Like a ball of fire in the sky, the burning colors fill my eyes. Now I'm mesmerized, by it's shape and size, and hate to say good night. cuz It frees my will when life is still, and maybe someday see the light. Copyright 2004 George Alan Lawson |
