For What It Is

been thinkin'
'bout the life I live
and about the world
we're all in
and it looks like death
has more to give
cuz life's just life,
for what it is
cuz we come to pay
our last repects
but I wonder why
we wait for death.
waiting until they're
death and gone
but when  they're alive,
we can't make time
that doesn't sound quite right
now I think there's
something really  wrong
so I guess I'll
skip this
thing called life
and move death right along

cuz life to me
is over-rated
and death is always
under-stated
the most inner-peace
is amongst the dead
but why  these thoughts
roll through my head ?
I could just keep this all inside
but I aint gonna let it slide
cuz the questions not
the words I've said
it's about respect,
not life or death
