Ravies in Cathedral and Choir School
Exeter Cathedral and Choir School provided a really inspirational setting for the Ravenscroft Singers 2003 week of singing Evensongs, Eucharists (not forgetting Mattins on Sunday!). These pictures capture only a tiny fraction of the magic of it all...
What a nice building Off-centre photographer rather overwhelmed by the grandeur of it all
The South tower of Exeter Cathedral: where Ravies roamed in robes before services and romped more roguishly at other times! The West End of the Cathedral, admired by many joyfully noisy tourists - especially during quieter moments of some Evensongs!
West End girls and boys! Thanks to Brian Skinner for taking this one.
Here are the Ravies gorgeously arrayed in their robes in front of the Cathedral in the blazing sunshine after Evensong on Saturday 9th
August
Another view of the collected Ravies - showing a little more of the distractingly good architecture. But the Ravies will not be upstaged even by such a historic building!
No Mary is not bloodshot - the photographer hadn't quite sorted out the red eye problem...
Sue Thomas nobly provides foreground interest here
"Good Lord - do they really want a photograph of us?"
Mary leads the way in showing how to appreciate the many finer qualities of the Choir School's unique catering provision.
Ollie cherishes the results of a recent classy haircut.
All goes to show what a sensible breakfast can do for  you!
Youthful Oliver (Bass 1 recruit for 2003) captured after midnight in the Choir School's fully equipped kitchen.
Mark & Elspeth in rather fetchingly handsome form
