Without Jesus
Without Jesus this world is a lonesome place,
However could we make it through?
There’s no hope for us without His saving grace:
Get ready – He’s coming for you.
No man is so swift as to outrun the grave,
And none can make Heav’n on his own;
On Calvary Jesus died your soul to save:
Greater love has any man known?
The Bible tells all of us how to behave,
Rebellion He will not condone;
When they place your body in the cold, dark, grave,
Will Jesus claim you as His own?
Without Jesus this world is a lonesome place,
However could we make it through?
There’s no hope for us without His saving grace:
Get ready – He’s coming for you.
The rich in this world have to answer the call,
Before Jesus they’ll take their stand;
The poor, helpless, downtrodden– yes, one and all – Before
they can enter that land;
They only are saved who have o’ercome the fall,
All others forever are banned;
My friend, are you ready to answer that call?
For surely before Him you’ll stand.
Without Jesus this world is a lonesome place,
However could we make it through?
There’s no hope for us without His saving grace:
Get ready – He’s coming for you.
