O, to
be like young Peter Pan,
Dwelling
in "Never, Never land",
To leave
the cares we know in life,
And
living without distress and strife...
Each
day to find the simple things
A happy
and carefree life brings:
The
butterflies and bumble bees,
The
squirrels that play atop the trees.
To romp
and play in pastures green,
And
see the things by most not seen,
Where
lizards crawl, grasshoppers hop,
And
songbirds songs that never stop.
The rippling
waters cool and clear,
The
warming sun that's ever near,
The
cooling breeze at close of day,
These
chase the cares of life away.
We can't
stay young our whole lives through,
Each
has a job in life to do;
But
in our minds we find some peace
In that
fair land of sweet release.

SPECIAL NOTE: Listbot is going to a "pay" service, and therefore I am going to move the list from their server to my "Yahoo" account. You should not experience any interruption in service, and besides a little difference in appearance and the address from which the poems come you probably won't even notice any change at all. You do not have to do anything to prepare for the change, if you are subscribed now you will remain subscribed. The archive is being moved from Listbot to my personal page, but will remain at Listbot until they shut it down. The complete list is also available on the Enon Page (http://www.geocities.com/fp5699). I will let you know more as things progress. I apologize for any inconvenience. Tim
