I’m On My Way

I am on my way
To a better place,
I’ll see Him someday
For I’m saved by grace!

Disappointments clutter the road,
And sometimes we falter in sin;
Many have stumbled ‘neath the load
And some have quit the paths of men.
But I’m on my way
To a better place,
I’ll see Him someday
For I’m saved by grace!

Dear friends have crossed over before
To that sweet, happy land o’er there,
I will meet them on Heavens’ shore,
Where we’ll live free from toil and care.
For I’m on my way
To that better place,
I’ll see Him someday
For I’m saved by grace!

Someday this body will fail me,
And then it shall be laid to rest;
From troubles and trials then free
I will dwell with the good and blest!
I am on my way
To a better place,
I’ll see Him someday
For I’m saved by grace!
