is nobody like Jesus my King!
Of Him
my glad heart forever shall sing!
For
I know He knows what I’m going through.
When
other friends fail to stand by my side,
By Him
I know I shall not be denied:
I know
that He'll help - for He's been there too!
Sometimes
I feel like I’m standing alone,
Facing
such troubles as none else has known,
But
I know He knows what I’m going through;
Sometimes
when the way grows weary and rough…
When
others desert – this truth is enough:
I know
that He knows – for He’s been there too!
No matter
what happens along the way,
From
Him I’ll not turn – I’ll trust and obey --
For
I know He knows what I’m going through;
It helps,
as I try to do what is good,
To know
that by Him I am understood --
I know
that He knows – for He’s been there too!
In all
points tempted, yet He overcame,
With
His help I know I can do the same:
For
I know He knows what I’m going through;
He calls
to all people, “Come unto me…
I will
help you overcome… You will see:
You’ll
know that I know – for I’ve been there too!”
