Mailed Friday December 21, 2001

Volume 1 Number 18

*******************************************************

Greetings!  My prayers are that this Friday will be a good one for each of you.  Let’s take a look at Wednesday Evening’s Bible Classes at Enon.

Wilburn Roney led the song before Bible Class, and he led the prayer as well.  Tim Smith taught the material newly prepared on the final few verses of Psalm 83, but the questions were tabled until January 2.  We then looked at an article on the religion of Islam until time ran out.

Chad White led the singing for the devotional (he did a very good job!) and Tim Smith (substituting for Jimmy Kilgore) read the scripture – Proverbs 10:28-32.  Paul Suggs gave a great invitation – challenging us to live up to the standard of righteousness we advocate.  Tim Smith made announcements, and Stan Smith worded our closing prayer.

The announcements, as carried to the lectern, are as follows –

NURSING HOME RESIDENTS:  Mary Elmore, Alberta Roney, Red Ballard.

SICK LIST:  Jerri Bowen, Julie Bowen, Luneal Russell, Bertha Johnson, EThell Kilgore, John Henry Brown, Ted Epperson, Adam Knox, Jimmy Enfinger, Doran Deal, Norma Deal, Quinton Crawford, Jesse and Vermell Brown, Ray Wiehe (SAMC room # 755 -- tests).

Our sympathy is expressed to the family of Anne Murray.   Mrs. Murray passed away last week.

The sign-up sheet for THOSE TO SERVE 2002 has been posted -- please take occasion to fill in the blanks as soon as possible!

Youth Team Meets Sunday following PM Worship at the Russells!!!

TV SHOW: MONDAY AT 7:00 P.M. and FRIDAY at 9:00 A.M. on Graceba Total Communications Cable 6.

Let’s be careful as we travel about – especially in this busy and (for many) frustrating time of year.  See you Sunday!  Tim
