Greetings! A very nice Thursday to each of you. Let’s start with a summary of the Bible Class and Devotional from last night:
Wilburn Roney led the song before class in the auditorium, and he led the prayer. Tim Smith taught from the 83rd Psalm.
Alex White did a very good job leading singing in the Devotional period, Tim Smith read Proverbs 10:24-27 for the Scripture Reading, Glenn Russell did a great job with the invitation, Tim Smith made the announcements, and Gary Wolfe led the closing prayer.
Now for the announcements as they were carried to the lectern:
Nursing Home Residents -- Mary Elmore, Alberta Roney, Red Ballard.
Sick -- Jerri Bowen, Julie Bowen, Luneal Russell, Bertha Johnson, EThell Kilgore (he is to return from Jacksonville, FL Thursday -- today), John Henry Brown (Jesse Brown's brother), Ted Epperson, Hugh and Janie Summerlin, David Summerlin, Jimmy Enfinger, Doran Deal, Norma Deal, Wanda Montgomery, Adam Knox, Paul Suggs (received a ‘fair’ report from his eye doctor in New Orleans, indicating some improvement but only slight), and several others.
INVITATION: A birthday reception in honor of Alberta Roney is scheduled for 2:30 P.M. December 15, 2001 at the Nursing Home. See Freda Smith or Bobby Roney for details.

The youth group will meet Sunday December 23 at the home of Glenn and Lisa Russell following the P.M. worship. We appreciate their interest in our children and thank them for arranging this meeting.
