We have been invited to a birthday reception in honor of Alberta Roney (her 97th) Saturday December 15 at 2:30 P.M. in the Nursing Home.

We thank Pat Gant for the very good job she did on the bulletin board!

The monthly meal for December is scheduled for Sunday December 16, 2001 following the evening worship.  Freda Smith is the hostess.

Visitation Team 2 is scheduled to meet this Sunday evening following worship.

The TV show tomorrow, airing at 9:00 A.M. in both the Ashford and the Dothan market, on Graceba Total Communications Cable 6 is called, "Moses:  A Great Example of Leadership."  We encourage you to watch it if you can!

Now for the summary --

Tim Smith led the song before the adult Bible class (I cannot recall just which one it was...)  Rob Taylor led the first prayer.  Tim Smith taught from the material prepared on Psalm 83.  Stan Smith (substituting for Jimmy Kilgore) did a very good job leading the singing in the devotional portion of our assembly!  Tim Smith (substituting for Stan Smith) read from Proverbs 10:19-23 for the Scripture reading.  Paul Suggs gave a wonderful invitation!  Lee Wolfe responded to the invitation, asking for the prayers of the congregation.  Tim Smith made announcements, and then Loren Russell (substituting for Jerry Gant) dismissed us with prayer.  I believe that we had a good assembly!

That is all for now.  Be careful, and by all means -- I hope to see you Sunday Morning!  Tim
