Enon News for November 26, 2001

Volume 1 Number 11

*******************************************************

Greetings!  I hope this finds you enjoying a Monday morning... Let's get to the Summaries from yesterday.

Wilburn Roney led the song before the adult Bible class, and he also led the prayer.  Tim Smith taught from Mark 4 and the class provided lively comments and questions.

Tim Smith made the announcements before the morning worship; Jimmy Kilgore led the singing; George Blevins led the first prayer; Alex White presided at the Lord's Table and was assisted by Chad White, David Summerlin, and Tim Smith; Tim Smith preached on Lessons From the Conversion of Paul; and Paul Suggs led the closing prayer.

Singing class was a bit sparse again, but those who attended seemed to enjoy it.  Most of us led 2 or 3 songs each and that helped fill the time.  We look forward to our sick and 'out-of-towners' being back with us!

Tim Smith made the announcements before the Evening worship; Jimmy Kilgore (filling in for Glenn Russell -- who along with his family -- was out of town) led the singing; Alex White led the first prayer; Tim Smith preached on taking advantage of the opportunities afforded us; Tim Smith presided at the Lord's Table; and Ray Wiehe led the closing prayer.

The sick list, as it was read yesterday, is as follows --

Nursing Home Residents:  Mary Elmore, Alberta Roney.

Sick List:  Jerri Bowen, Julie Bowen, Luneal Russell, Winifred Capps, Bertha Johnson, EThell Kilgore, Callie Kilgore, John Henry Brown, Angela Killingsworth, Floyd Turk, Ted Epperson, Ethan Wolfe, Gary Wolfe, Hugh and Janie Summerlin, Jack Gott, and many others.

The men's business meeting was postponed until next Sunday at 5:00 P.M.

The TV Show -- SPEAKING WHERE THE BIBLE SPEAKS -- is scheduled to run this evening in the Ashford Market on GRACEBA TOTAL COMMUNICATIONS CABLE 6 at 7:00 P.M.  It is called, "Can We Trust Our Bible -- II" and is continued from last week.  I hope you can watch it!

That is all for now.  Thanks for reading THE ENON NEWS, and have a great week.  Tim Smith
