Enon News for Thursday November 15, 2001!

Volume I Number 7

Greetings.  I hope your Thursday is going well.  We had a good evening at Enon last night, with a pretty good crowd.  Let's get to the news...

Wilburn Roney led the song before class in the auditorium, and I simply cannot remember who led the first prayer.  I taught from Psalm 83 after we answered the questions on Psalm 82.  Participation was very good.  Alex White led the singing after class, Stan Smith read the scripture (Proverbs 10:1-5), Glenn Russell did a great job on the invitation, and I made announcements.  Rob Taylor dismissed the congregation with prayer.

Let us keep in mind the monthly meal Sunday following the evening worship, Ann Knight is the hostess.

On a sad note, our sympathy is expressed to George and Alyne Blevins.  Thelma Greenwood, George's sister, passed away Tuesday evening in an Arkansas hospital following an extended illness.  They are in our prayers.

The TV Show, SPEAKING WHERE THE BIBLE SPEAKS, is slated to air tomorrow (Friday) morning at 9:00 A.M. in both the Ashford and Dothan Markets on GRACEBA TOTAL COMMUNICATIONS CABLE 6.  It is called, "Can You Make Up Your Mind?"  There was a problem at the TV station Monday evening and the last 10 minutes were cut off.  I called it to their attention and hopefully it will be fixed by tomorrow.

Our congratulations to Angela Killingsworth and Doran Deal -- both of whom celebrated a birthday on Tuesday of this week!  We hope it was a good one for them both.  Brother Deal said that his doctor told him, following a check-up this week, that he would see him in one year -- if he was still alive!  I guess that is being cautiously optimistic...

Be careful and have a nice day!  Tim
