Enon News for February 7, 2002!
Volume 1 Number 29
*******************************************************
Good Morning.  I hope everyone is safe, dry and warm today... it has sure rained here!  Let's get to the announcements from last evening:

Nursing Home Residents:  Mary Elmore, Alberta Roney, Red Ballard.

Sick List:  George Blevins (recovering at home, started Rehab yesterday and it went well); Alberta Roney (SAMC room 394 -- may be moved to Nursing Home today); Jerry Gant (dismissed from SAMC late yesterday afternoon); Crosher Whitehead; Luneal Russell; Bertha Johnson; EThell Kilgore; John Henry Brown; Ted Epperson; Adam Knox; Jimmy Enfinger; Doran Deal; Norma Deal; Quinton Crawford; Hugh Summerlin; Janie Summerlin; David Summerlin; Merideth McGlamory; Bobby Roney (his surgery has been postponed for a while); Loren Crawford (he underwent a repeat surgery to repair something that came undone); Luther Quinton Crawford, Jr.; Ruth Granberry; Willie Pearl Williams; and many others.

The LADIES BIBLE CLASS is scheduled to meet Monday Februray 11, 2002 at 7:00 P.M. in the annex!

The MONTHLY MEAL for February is scheduled for Sunday February 17, 2002 following the A.M. worship next door in the annex.  Mary Kirkland and Allie Knowles are hosting and everyone is invited!

VISITATION TEAM 2 is set to meet this Sunday Evening!

SYMPATHY:  Our sympathy is expressed to Bonnie Ingram in the passing of her sister, Dorothy Mitchell.  Mrs. Mitchell passed away last Sunday in her home in Florida.  She had not been ill, and her death was a surprize to everyone.  Just a couple of days before, Bonnie's other sister (who lived with Mrs. Mitchell and her husband) tragically lost her grandson and his wife and 3 children in an automobile accident.  Let us keep this family in our prayers.

SPEAKING WHERE THE BIBLE SPEAKS -- Friday 9:00 A.M. -- airing in both the Ashford and Dothan Markets -- Lesson:  Lessons From Daniel And The Lions Den.

Now for the summaries:

Wilburn Roney did his usual fine job leading the song before the Bible Class, and Alex White worded the first prayer.  Tim Smith taught from Psalm 86.  The crowd was very low -- I am assuming that the many sick coupled with the bad weather led to this condition.

Alex White did a very good job with the singing following the class period!  Stan Smith read from Proverbs 12:1-7 (and he is a very good reader!)  Glenn Russell did very well delivering the invitation -- dealing with 7 things Jesus "is"!  Tim Smith made the announcements and we were dismissed by Paul Suggs (filling in for Jerry Gant).

I plan to record a new TV show today, Lord willing, and to copy the Enon Endeavors.  The Show comes from James 2:1-13 and deals with the Final Judgment.  The Enon Endeavor features a Gradowith Poem -- SWING WIDE THE DOORS.  It also features an article called -- UNTO HIM BE GLORY IN THE CHURCH BY CHRIST JESUS THROUGHOUT ALL AGES, WORLD WITHOUT END.  AMEN.  There is a feature from DAILY HUMOR on page 4 called -- THE OLD MAN.  It is set to be mailed (Lord willing) Monday.

I hope you have a wonderful day!  Tim
