TV SHOW: MONDAY AT 7:00 P.M. and FRIDAY at 9:00 A.M. on Graceba Total Communications Cable 6.  This week -- THE TRUTH ABOUT TRUTH

Now for the summaries:

Wilburn Roney led the song before the adult class, and did his usual great job!  He also worded the first prayer.  Tim Smith directed the discussion on the seventh chapter of Mark.  On the whole, I think it was a good class!

Paul Suggs made the announcements yesterday morning – he did a very good job!  Stan Smith did his usual excellent job with the song leading, George Blevins worded a lovely prayer, Tim Smith presided at the Lord’s Table and was assisted by Chad White, Alex White, and David Summerlin, and at the close of worship Glenn Russell substituted for Jerry Gant (who was sick) by leading our closing prayer.  Tim Smith discussed proper sources of help for the Christian.  An interesting thing happened (now, be careful…) during the sermon – a dog entered the church building!  He was duly dismissed (thanks to Jeff Epperson).  Life is full of little surprises, I guess.

We had a good singing class yesterday afternoon, although the leaders were not as many as usual.

Paul Suggs led the singing before the evening worship – another great job!  Stan Smith (substituting for Coby Smith, who is in college) did another great job leading the singing.  Rob Taylor led the first prayer, Tim Smith preached on proper priorities – Jesus and the Church – Glenn Russell presided at the Table and George Blevins led the closing prayer.  Visitation Team 3 met last evening.

It was a very good day at Enon!  While we missed the sick folks, we enjoyed a few visitors and the wonderful fellowship of those of like precious faith.  May your week be a good one, and I hope to see you Wednesday!  Tim
