HOSPITAL NEWS:**We know of none in the hospital from the congregation here at this time, but Johnnie B. Mendheim was admitted and released last week fromSAMC and was with us Sunday.   Sister Summerlin, (Continues to recover from eye surgery), Callie Kilgore, Clarice Turk, Bertha Johnson, Merle Whatley, Merle Whatley's son-in-law, Crosher Whitehead's son-in-law, Tammy Moss (scheduled to enter SAMC Tuesday 3-23 for treatment).  We also continue to remember our Nursing Home Residents, Lola King and Alberta Roney.

SYMPATHY:  Our sympathy is expressed to Chris Speigner in the recent passing of his paternal grandfather.

REMEMBER  to study your Bible each day, and to prepare your Bible Class Lessons.  Take time to look up the verses the teacher discusses, as well as the ones the preacher preaches on.  Take notes if it will help you further your studies.  Public assemblies provide us a wonderful opportunity to benefit from the studies of others.  Use them to the best of your ability.  Peter said that we are to "...grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ..."

WHEN THE CAT'S AWAY...

"When the cat's away the mice will play", this we know to be true
When Moses was up on the mountain top Israel played, too;
But as the mice, when the cat came back home, a lesson had learned:
So God's children, when Moses came back down, again to Him turned.

Why is it we children of men must go our own way?
What makes us think we can from this darkness find the light of day?
Has ever there been a people who could make it on their own?
Have not all who tried in the end found themselves, alas, alone?

As in yesterday the sun arose and then at length went down;
So tomorrow will bring no new truth that today has not found.
A time for all things, all things have their time, what means this to me?
'Tis the mystery of life all men give their span for to see.

There is for all things a time, indeed, but each must make the choice
For good or evil, for life or for death, each must raise his voice.
There'll come a time when the choice is made, too late then to start,
So take time today to think and choose and give the Lord your heart.
