Wow -- imagine this:  twice in the same month my family and I will be out of town!  Thanks to the generosity of a member of the church here at Enon, we have the opportunity to spend a couple of days "out of town".  I hope to return home sometime Saturday, so below please find the history etc. for today, tomorrow and Saturday. SPECIAL BIRTHDAY:  My sister, Tory Beaver, celebrates a birthday today!  She lives in Paragould, AR and works at KAIT-8, the ABC affiliate in Jonesboro, AR.

TODAY IS 10-4 DAY, a day of recognition for radio operators everywhere for whom 10-4 signals an affirmative reply, as in, "That's a big 10-4..."

MEANINGLESS FACTS:  Sir Thomas Brisbane (1773-1860), who served in the British Army for 70 years, died in the bed in which he was born -- yet in his 87 years he had slept in it only twice, once on the day he was born and again on the day he died... The chapel of St. Agathe in Langon, France is reserved for nursemaids and babysitters... Blundell's School in Tiverton, England was built entirely from the wreckage of the Spanish Armada in 1588.  Believe it, or not.
