THis class was Linear Algebra. The Professor was Bruce Yoshiwara. Yea.. I know how I fair against Japanese teachers.. I heard a lot about him and his wife.. At Pierce College, they call them the legend Killaz.. I know a lot of smart people that barely pass their classes with a C.. He (Mr. Yoshiwara) was the only one teaching linear algebra, so I was forced to take him because I thought I could conquer the legend of Yoshiwara.

I went in to the class preety confident, I mean I did get an A in DIfferential Equations last semester (Spring 2003).. So I thought Linear ALgebra would be okay..even with Mr. Yoshiwara. There were a lot of people that took the class in the beginning.. Many people dropped out somewhere in between the beginning and the end of class. I believe there was about 10 - 15 people that took the Finals by the time the class came to an end.

I didn't know Linear Algebra was this involved. I only received a B in the class, but I did learn a lot of things. This is one of the class that I actually learned something. The first test, I got a 54 out of 100.. and after that I was determined to get over a 50 on the second one..After taking the second test, I figured I would be happy with a score around 70's, but I got an 80.. so I was so very surprised..I thought I was smart :)..Then I thought that he probably misgraded my test or something..but nooo..its the truth,, I did get that 80 on my own test...I was very surprised/happy/shocked... Then comes the third test..which was a unbelievable experience for me.. I got a 94 out of 100 .. I couldn't believe my eyes.. :):):)..Then on the Finals I stank it up again (55/70) ---> But I guess he felt sorry for me and gave me a B.

I felt I could've received an A if I had tried from the beginning... Time ran out for me.. :(.. If I had one or two more tests, then I believed I could've boosted my average up to about A ishh..and end it off with a bomb finals to push myself up to an A then I can say "I conQuered Yoshiwara." But instead, I ended up with a B, and now I say.."I should've tried in the beginning"..Wat a sad story ..

Last word for people who goes to Pierce and may stumble into this page..If you want a good grade, don't take him....but if u wanna learn something..u have to take dis guy..he's good...and his tests will open up your eyes....but dam. I wish I gotten an A..O well..there will be more math to take (hopefully)
