You know, we tend to get really uptight when someone doesn't try to see our point of view. Just a thought, have you tried listening to what the other person is saying before you rush in with your point of view? Or are you like the rest of us,already thinking about what it is that you are going to say when the other person comes up for air? If you fall into this category, you've got plenty of company. Try to blank your mind of everything else but what the other person is talking about. When they are finished, repeat back to them what it is that you thought you heard,confirm it, then respond back. Most of our differences of opinion come in what we missed while we were deciding what to say next.
