| NUTRITION WEEK From July 28 - 30, the students will have activities that will promote awareness and encourage the practice of healthy habits. This is Chime's way of celebrating Nutrition Month. Various activities highlighting these days include: Cooking Sessions for the pre-school, Poster and Slogan Making Contest, the Mr. and Ms. Nutrition Contest and the Nutri-Jingle Contest for the grade school. | ARAW NG WIKA Barely had the school gone into a week of preparation when typhoon struck and suspended classes for two days - Wednesday and Thursday. Panic and anxiety began to show in the faces of the teachers when Friday came. After all, the big event was on Tuesday. But determination and a lot of prayers overcame the growing tensions. And when Tuesday came, as hundreds of well-wishers, parents, yayas and friends trooped into the plaza, it was clear that the day spelled only success. | MAMA MARY'S BIRTHDAY September 8th marks the 10th Foundation Day of CHIME LEARNING SCHOOL. This day is also Mama Mary's birthday who is also the patron saint of our shool. | UNITED NATION'S DAY CHIME celebrated United Nation's Day last October 28, 2004. A week before this day, teachers had been feverishly working and planning programs and dance numbers to make the event a success. With barely a week for students of each class to polish their individual numbers and talents, the festival promised to be as colorful as the costumes the children paraded in. Trophies and ribbons were at stake for the best presentors. But at the end of the program, after each have churned out brilliant performances, everyone turned out to be the winner. | FIELD TRIP Every year as part of its enrichment program, the whole of Chime Learning School holds an annual field trip to various places in Metro Manila and the neighboing provinces. This year, the sites chosen were Malacanang Palace, The Church of the Shrine of Jesus Christ, GSIS Museum and the Avilon Zoo. | CHRISTMAS Christmas not only comes once a year; but it also comes at the end of the year. So students, parents and teachers all year round await its coming. At Chime, Christmas Family Day is celebrated with dance presentations, games and bingo, all packaged neatly into one joyful event. So it's no wonder that even after the day is over and only a handful have won prizes, students and their familes troop out of Marilag Plaza tired but with smiles beaming in their faces... something only the Christmas spirit can do.
