Welcome to Graceway German Shepherds. We have been involved with German Shepherds since 1995 in Obedience Training, Search and Rescue, Police Service Training and Behavior Conditioning. We are located in Lynden, Ontario between Hamilton and Brantford. We are presently not breeding any of our dogs. We look for the Solid German Shepherd Type Dog not only in Body but Temperament as well. The quality of German Shepherds has declined over the years, with Health and Temperament taking a toll on the Breed. It is quality and not quantity that we look for in our dogs. When you purchase a Adult Dog from us, you can rest assure that you would be getting a Registered CKC, AKC or a dog with Import Papers. In addition to buying a dog from us, you will undergo a strict screening process, and training both on the breed and how to handle a German Shepherd Correctly. No Adult Dog will be sold without the following: Hips/Elbows Certified By O.V.C., Full Panel Thyroid T4 Test, E.P.I. Deficiency of Producing Digestive Enzymes, and will have the dog examined by a cardiologist.? As for puppies, if and when we breed, Hips/Elbows can not be completed until the dog reaches 24 months of age. We strive for the best and nothing else will do, that is why we are very critical of what we have and who we sell too. |
