Gloria is busying herself with preparations for her wedding, just a week away, when the horrible news is brought to her that her fiance has been shot to death by the lover of a dancing girl with whom he was found. In order to forget, Gloria, accompanied by her father, retreated to the place of her father's birth. Soon after she met Murray MacRae and before long she began to feel like a real person again.
