I thought our worship offering at
the United Service on Friday evening was excellent.
Please pass on my congratulations to all members of the worship team!
One comment I heard from a person present was that we were "highly professional".
One of the chief organizers said that our worship was "anointed". Praise the Lord!
One stand-out feature of our worship was that we were putting the Lord first,
and were not so concerned about showing ourselves off in our best clothes.
In other words, the focus was on the spiritual and not the carnal. Hallelujah!
This is the first year that the administrators of the compound have tried to
organise a "United Service". Obviously, their level of organisation has much to improve,
but I have told them that they will always have our maximum co-operation.
Unfortunately, it is also clear that many churches have either not grasped the vision,
or don't care too much about church unity! Anyway, let us keep this also in prayer.
