| Name: Itsuki CodeName: Gatekepper Description: He can be best described as the right hand man of Sensui. When Sensui was still a rei kai detective, Itsuki became one of his targets as he was a youkai. Sensui almost killed him but before doing so, he asked Itsuki what he wanted before he dies. Itsuki honestly replied that he wishes to live for another day just to watch the last episode of his favorite t.v series. Since that t.v program was also Sensui's favorite, he decided not to kill Itsuki and let him live. |
| Name: Shinobu Sensui CodeName: Dark Angel Description: Sensui is the leader of the 7 people with extraordinary powers, who plans to connect makai to ningenkai by creating a tunnel that will enable the demons to have access to the human world. He was a former rei kai detective who, because of seeing humans torture innocent youkais to death, decided to turn his back to the humans and gave his loyalty to the youkai's. He now sees the humans as his enemy. But what he really wanted is to be killed by a youkai, maybe as a punishment for himself for staining his hands with the blood of thousands of youkai's he had killed when he was still a rei kai detective. And t his is what prompted him to build a tunnel, to catch Yusuke's attention and have him killed by a youkai. Yusuke has a youkai blood. Sensui's power is classified as an S-Class. He is so powerful that not even Yusuke can defeat him. In the battles that was shown, it is revealed that Sensui have seven personalitites living inside him. These personalitites were formed during his many battles. He was able to kill Yusuke but since Yusuke was revive by his youkai blood as an S-Class, he also managed to defeat Sensui. |
| Name: Toguro Ototo Description: He has extraordinary strength that he can increase according to his will. He was once an ordinary human who had skills in fighting. What he had become is a result of his sad past. His friends were all killed by a youkai while they were practicing for the tournament. The youkai was so strong that he can't do anything to stop it from killing his friends. He was the only one who survived. That incident made him want to become stronger with unlimited power. When a tournament was again held, he learned that the youkai who killed his friends would also be there. And at that time he met Genkai who became his ally and friend. They trained so hard that thay became champions of the tournament. Toguro also got his revenge by killing that youkai. But that didn't stop there. He now wants more power. He is not yet satisfied and so he sold his soul to the king of the darkness in exchange of more power, thus he became a youkai. After 50 yrs., Genkai and Toguro met again at the Ankoku Bujusukai and this time they are now enemies. He killed Genkai during their private match but in turn Yusuke also killed him during their final match of the tournament. |
| Name: Karasu Description: A member of the Toguro team who has the ability to create bombs. Anything he touches will just be blown to pieces. During the ankoku , he was matched against Kurama and was killed during their fight. He is said to owe his life to Toguro therefore making him a slave. |
| Name: Sakyo Description: He is the head of the Toguro team who first planned of creating a tunnel between makai and ningenkai. (Sensui continued this plan) Not much was said about him except that when he was a kid, he enjoyed seeing animals killed. He died after the Urameshi team won the tournament as what they all agreed upon. |
