Aeka is the crowned princess of Jurai who, while searching for her half-brother and fiancee Yosho, came upon earth and sees Ryouko just in time to witness the warrant for her arrest expire. Since her ship, Ryouuh, was destroyed, she was stranded along with Sasami at Tenchi's place. Aeka has the power to create force fields to shield her and uses Azaka and Kamidake to attack enemies. Her name is derived from the japanese word "aekanaru" which means "frail" or delicate which suits her usual manner very well. Aeka can be widely seen fighting with Ryouko to compete for the attention of Tenchi which usually becomes the series' comic highlights. |
