Meditation

Meditation is used to prepare for magickal workings, to use divination, to contact spirit guides and loads more so it is a useful to get the hang of. There are different ways of getting into this state and it is up to you.
To get relaxed, a lot of people tense each muscle in turn and then relax it, making themselves aware of each movement and muscle.
Another way of relaxing is to imagine you are a candle, feel yourself waving and the wicks dripping down your back, warm and comforting.
You may simply try staring at something, concentrating hard on it and stilling the rest of your mind. In a spell you may wish to try and concentrate on the aim of the spell (or if it's a love spell the person in mind)
Probably the most favourable is breathing. Slow your breathing down and concentrate on each breath. Let other thoughts float out of your mind.
Meditation is a state of relaxation and calming. You may wish to do more research into other techniques. Buddhism uses meditation a lot.
