| A familiar is an animal which chooses to stay with you. It may be your pet but it is not tame, it will choose you and bring you gifts. But it will have a life apart from you. You may find it communicates with you and you may find it moves you in your sleep or visits you. It can come in and out of a circle without breaking the seal. They are messengers, spies and campanions for life. |
| Fetches |
| These aren't permanent, they are creatures you create during a spell to do a job for you. Make within a circle and always be sure to unmake it after its purpose has been fulfilled. Gather bones, feathers, fur, claws, etc. Use things which relate to the task. Your main ingredients are beeswax and string. Put the bits inside the wax and plait the string, binding the fetch to its purpose. Give it an aim and purpose, be specific. Invoke the elements and give the spell a time frame. Once fone the fetch will work on the astral plane and do its job. |
