GOVERNOR OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY:
To all to whom these presents shall come, Greeting:

KNOW YE, That by virtue and in consideration of part of a warrant from the Madison
County Court, there is granted by the said Commonwealth, unto William Williams assee of
Miah Crooks


a certain tract or parcel of Land, containing fourteen        Acres, by
survey, bearing date the 30     day of April     one thousand eight hundred
and forty six           lying and being in the County of Madison on the waters
of Big Clover Creek near the head and bounded as followth Wit:
Beginning at a white oak and small ash a corner to 50 acres made for Jno Hudson and corner to Miah Crooks 400 acres with Crooks lines N60W24 poles to a black gum and hickory on a hill side just above the forks of a branch of said Clover above said Williams then N 30 poles to a chesnut oak and white oak on A Henderson South line of his 4450 acres with said line N85W52 poles to a small black oak and hickory sapling a corner to John Wilsons 50 acres with his line S20 E65 poles to a white oak the other one cut down to Begining corner of said Wilson 50 acres then with line of said Hudsons 50 acres N85E50 poles to the Begining (This ___ is bounded old ___ by prior existing claims)



With its appurtienances: To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of Land, with its appurtenances, to the said
William Williams

and his heirs forever.


IN WITNESS WHEREOF, The said William Owsley Esq.
Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, hath hereunto set his hand, and caused the seal
of the Commonwealth to be affixed, at Frankfort, on the 29 day of
July in the year of our Lord, on thousand eight hundred
and forty seven and of the Commonweath, the fifty sixth
